Waking up, Red sees the Pokéballs of two of his friends are gone! Checking his bag, so was the fossil! He rushed to call Professor Oak, but Oak wasn't at his lab. "Must be doing field research! If only you could bring a phone anywhere!"
Red searched the town! Offered an Eevee to help! Eevee sniffs for Abby, his nose leading to the game corner! A worker tries to convince Red nothing is going on, but Eevee tackles him! Knocking him into a poster, pressing the hidden button behind it, and opening a hidden door! Red bolts down the stairs!
The worker grabs his chest where Eevee just hit him! He pulls out a little radio to alert the base! "Attention! I've been overpowered by that super-strong kid! Red! He's in the base!"
Red takes out grunt after grunt! Stealing the key to the elevator and riding to different floors! He sees Team Rocket hoarding items you can use to evolve Pokémon, metal coats, marvel scales, pieces of dragons, evolution stones…
Red lays out the stones "Here, which would you prefer?" Eevee points to the orange stone radiating heat "A fire stone? So you want to be a Flareon?" He touched it to Eevee's head, watching him absorb the energy, becoming a red fluffy fox!
Red went to the bottom floor, beating a couple of grunts, sharing a Meowth… his first time seeing an Arbok and Weezing, not that it helped…
Behind them, he runs into Giovanni, "I must say, I am impressed you got here. Team Rocket captures Pokémon from around the world. They're important tools for keeping our criminal enterprise going, every once and a while, we encounter someone like you… a fool who tries to take back what we've rightfully stolen, thinking they can beat us because they defeated the weakest Team Rocket has to offer. I am the leader, Giovanni! For your insolence, you will feel a world of pain!" He sends out Rhydon! The most powerful Pokémon that Red had ever seen in person!
Red sends out Flareon! "Sand-Attack!"
Giovanni scoffed as the sand kicked at this towering colossus of a Pokémon that failed to connect with the eyes! "Horn Drill!" It reached down, picked up Flareon, and spun the drill on its head while lowering Flareon to it…!
Red cries as he tries in vain to return Flareon to his Pokéball, but it just isn't working! He sees the attack connect… Flareon… his new companion… the flame in his eyes snuffed out…

"Jas! You're my only hope!" Red said, sending out his glorious Pidgeot "Whirlwind!"
Rhydon is sent back to its Pokéball, in its place, a Kangaskhan… "You think my other Pokémon are somehow weak…?" Giovanni said, with a little finger snap, he wordlessly told Kangaskhan to use Comet Punch, which took out Jas before Red had a chance to so much as damage Red's Pokémon… then she hit Red with the same attack!
The grunts surround him, Red can barely keep his eyes open, and he hears one of the grunts say "I told ya… none of his other Pokémon were worth stealing…" Red whited out…
