Red tried to put together a functioning team out of what was left, Jas was on it of course, as was Rick. When training with the Safari Zone's warden Jordan quickly learned Strength, great for travel (And for fixing the damage the Zapdos battle did to Oak's lab) so she was on the team. The warden didn't ask for payment or anything, he just wanted to help the boy who stopped Team Rocket.
The Venomoth he caught earlier seemed to be able to fight anywhere without issues, Red finally decided to name him ATV, the All Terrain Venomoth.
Returning to Mt. Moon, he finally had something to evolve with a Moon Stone, and despite having Jordan as an aquatic Pokémon, he chose to let Nidoking learn Surf after he stepped up to do so. He saw how cool Nidoking was and chose to finally name him, Fonzie.
Red pondered his final Pokémon, unsure who to add, even sleeping on it didn't help… In the morning he told his mother all about his journey she'd heard most of it by now, but that's just how it goes when a boy becomes a celebrity!
Stepping out, he looked out at the place he called home… it felt so foreign after his journey, felt smaller… but he didn't mind… he could use the peace…
