Snow walked towards Capitol Building, taking in the sight and sounds of the Capitol itself. He still sees the various buildings being rebuilt, but it has improved from last year. He knows that the Capitol is almost finished, back to its former glory. He especially is ready to start his new job as an assistant to the Gamemaker in Dr. Gaul. He knew that the previous Games were still in people's minds…and they needed to wipe out the mistakes that were made the previous year in order to make sure nothing like that happened again. He was on his way to the Capitol Building in order to discuss some of the ideas that would improve the games itself.

Snow entered the Capitol Building and entered into one of the elevators to get to Dr. Gaul's Research Center. But before he could, a hand went in between the elevator door.

"Going up Snow?"

Snow Immediately rolled his eyes. This was the last person he wanted to see right now. Livia Cardew entered the elevator along with Snow, with Snow doing his best to ignore her. He knew her well, since she was the mentor to the district 1 Male of last year. He didn't practically like her two-face demeanor, and the fact that she was over confidant and brash. He didn't want to know why she was here, but he needed to put on his persona in order to get more information out of her.

"Sure am. You as well?"

"Yeah. Not like I'm the one getting all the inside knowledge from the woman herself. You beat me to the punch."

"Well…you might have done well yourself had the rebels not tried killed your tribute."

"Screw you. You're the one who suggested we get closer to the tributes in the first place."

"At least I was attempted to be creative with the games."

"And got a few of us killed at that."

Then there was complete silence in the elevator as the two didn't dare look at one another. Soon, Snow saw the elevator stop on the 30thfloor, which meant she was working in the Marketing Department.

"I wonder how you're going to market the games after-"

"Oh, like my new job is going to matter. You and Dr. Gaul are just going to take the credit I give you anyways."

"Your department gives you. It's not like you're the head of marketing at all."

Snow was surprised when Livia didn't give a response back at him.

"I hope it was worth it. Using Lucy as a way to start your career."

Snow didn't realize the anger that was boiling inside of him until Livia left the elevator, and the elevator doors shut. Snow punched the elevator door. He soon looked at his knuckles and saw some blood on his knuckles. He'll get that patched up later. Right now, he needed to focus. As soon as he hit the 50th floor, he quickly exited to find Dr. Gaul in her facility. She saw her working on various designs, of which he couldn't really tell yet. He also noticed the various scientist around the area also working around the clock as well.

"Dr. Gaul, you requested to see me?" Snow asked.

"Yes. I heard that you have a couple of suggestions that you wanted to submit. I know last your some of your ideas worked wonders. Now of course, we wouldn't want an incident like last year happening…so, go right ahead."

Snow nodded his head, as he shuffled his feet.

"I think the first thing we should do is to provide the tributes with somewhat better living conditions. I understand that last year we put the tributes in a cage…because of what the districts did to us 11 years ago. But, I'm not suggesting living conditions because I empathize with them…quite the opposite in fact. It's to provide an illusion of comfort…and when they eventually enter the arena, where ever the games are held this year, the players will have a harder time killing said tributes…making for a more dramatic showing."

Dr. Gaul nodded her head, and Snow took that to mean for him to continue.

"Next I think it would be beneficial to have the games take place somewhere besides the Capitol. Sure, we had previous games close to home…but that would risk future attacks from the rebels and would just cause more harm to the rebuilding process. I don't know if you already had plans for the games to be held somewhere in the Capitol again, but if possible it would be smarter if the games were held somewhere else."

He didn't get a reaction out of Dr. Gaul, so he pressed onward.

"Finally, I think we should stick with the idea of having Mentors."

"Are you sure about that Snow? You saw what happened last year when we tried that. A quarter of the students lost their lives over this."

"I know. That's why I don't want the students to mentor the games themselves…We'll have the previous winners of the games Mentor the Tributes."

Dr. Gaul smiled at this.

"So…we have ten previous winners to mentor the tributes…but that means two districts would be left unattended. Who would you have Mentor the two outliers?"

"Easy. Me and Livia Cardew."
