Chapter 18- Wedding Day

Philip's POV

Finally, we made it to May third. Our wedding day. I keep you in our bedroom after the rehearsal dinner because I couldn't risk you trying to run away. You sleep soundly in my arms with the help of a sleeping pill.

Your sister Amy knocks on the door, ready to help you get dressed for the big day.

"Come on Andrea," she says outside the door impatiently.

"I really should spend the morning with Amy Nicole. My mom will want to help me get ready too," she says, looking for any excuse to leave our room.

"I understand. Soon we will be husband and wife on our honeymoon in Hawaii. Spend the morning with them, sweetheart," I said, kissing her on the cheek.

"Thank you for understanding,"she says, looking at the ground.

"Just a reminder the wedding is at three o'clock this afternoon. You need to be back here by two," I said as she pulled on a pair of jeans, bra, and a button-down shirt. She threw on her socks and black tennis shoes.

She couldn't get out of her fast enough.

"I know," she said, looking like she wanted to roll her eyes.

"Don't try anything stupid. We talked about this over yesterday. You made a decision, stick with it. He can't provide you like I can," I tell her.

"You know I am marrying you for Amy,right? I love my sister more than anything in my life, I would always choose her happiness over mine," she says so softly, like she is afraid.

"I know, but remember, Amy's happiness depends on mine," I said, looking into those dark blue eyes of hers.

"I feel like I know you well enough to make you happy. I will be a good wife and remain loyal as long you keep your promises. I will see you at the ceremony," she says sliding her engagement ring on.

"Enjoy your time with your sister and mom,"I said, unlocking the door, releasing you into Amy's arms. The two of you hug and walk, giggling.

"You look a hot mess," Amy tells Andrea, before touching her blonde hair.

"I'll go to the guesthouse and take a bath, then we can all drive to the salon after lunch," she says walking out of my viewpoint. I didn't need to worry, she'd spend the morning getting ready with Amy, her mom Amelia, and Penny. I had my best man Martinez make sure Shane was headed back to work in Savanna.

With all the security at the mansion, Shane would never get in if he tried. And I also talked with Andrea's mom Amelia, who promised to make sure Andrea was at the wedding. Like Amy, Amelia preferred me to Shane.

Everything would go as planned, I told myself. I wasn't losing Andrea, like I did Sarah.

I went to the kitchen, grabbed a quick breakfast, then went upstairs to shower. This time tomorrow I'd be in Hawaii with my wife in my arms. Then I'd show her how much I loved her. She wouldn't think about anyone else anymore.
