Episode IV
Twenty years have passed since the end of the cataclysmic Empire-Earth War. Despite the horrendous losses inflicted on both sides in the conflict, the peace between the 2nd Galactic Empire and the Confederacy of Earth Nations has proven itself brittle and fraught with tension. As the Empire expands its influence throughout the Milky Way by terraforming and colonizing planets along the Bloodstripe Run hyper-route, the Confederacy, under the iron rule of President Jonathan Harris, continues to spur its surviving population into new heights of paranoia and xenophobia.
Desperate to catch up with its hated rival, the Confederacy has established bases on Mercury, Venus, and Luna in the hopes of restoring its depleted resources and jump starting its technological advancement. The Empire, preoccupied with its own internal affairs and expansion, prefers to pretend that the Confederacy does not exist, and contents itself with merely containing the Confederates to the Sol System and providing covert support to pirate groups in the asteroid belt.
Caught between the two titans of the known galaxy, the State of New Mandalore tries simply to endure in a universe hostile to its very existence.
As heroes old and new on all sides try to maintain the precarious balance, sinister forces are rising. They look to the standoff between the Empire and the Confederacy with calculating eyes and see opportunity, secure in the knowledge that one spark is all it shall take to reignite the fires of war.
Soon, the fate of the Milky Way shall be decided with Blood and Durasteel.
