Chapter 35-Celebrate
Liv sat in the lobby of the Capitol Building. It was gigantic with people coming and going, whizzing by. She sat staring at the marble floor, then looking up at the big ceiling. She couldn't imagine working here. The workflow was never ending, and no one seemed to care that people were all around.
It was the very life she left back in NYC, the only difference was this wasn't a city subway and there wasn't a city street. This was all happening in one building. Suits by the hundreds, never ending chatter, and an occasional moment to stop and chat. It was giving Olivia a big headache and it had her wondering how Fitz was doing.
They had returned, reluctantly, to D.C. through an entrance tunnel under the building that is used for Senators and others. Gerry wasn't kidding when he said there was a media storm. The press must've gotten word Fitz was arriving for a statement, they were swarmed on the steps of the Capitol. Even Olivia was nervous for him.
Gerry had arranged for them to enter through the tunnel, away from all the media awaiting word from Fitz. Fitz had told her on the way back he had no intentions of speaking to anyone in DC. If he did decide to speak, he would do it through a local reporter in Rutland who can use the footage to gain national attention from there. He'd rather an up-and-coming local reporter gain the attention rather than these greedy news networks. Liv was fine with whatever he wanted. She just wanted this all behind them.
Fitz wasn't quite sure what to expect from the panel. He knew whatever he said behind closed doors would be considered classified, but he wasn't willing to pour out anymore of his soul than he already did. He just didn't want his father to be taken down with all of this. He held on to Liv in the car, her head resting on his chest. He found comfort in caressing her hair and touching the smooth skin on her face.
"I spoke to Sophie. They are going to hold off on having the cake until 9. That should give us enough time. Dad is going to head right to Santa Barbara. After Chloe's party in February, I'd like to make plans to stay there for a week before spring training begins. Would you be OK with that Livvie?"
"Yeah, I would love to see your childhood home. It will be great to walk around and live as little Fitz." Liv was just lost in his touch. She loved when he caressed her hair and felt the skin on her face. It calmed her, and she realized just how lucky she was to have met Fitz and have him in her life.
And this was the reason why, she thought, as she looked around that Lobby. This was just all too much. She was so grateful she chose Rutland. She had never been so genuinely happy, not since before the accident. The residents, the scenery, and most of all Fitz completed the life she was in search of.
She glanced at her phone. She was anxious to call Chloe, but Fitz made her promise to wait for him. They had a special surprise for one of their favorite girls being delivered, and Fitz wanted to see her reaction with Liv. Today being her actual birthday, she wanted to sing to her also, she missed Chloe's little smile.
"Excuse me, you're Olivia Pope, right? You're dating Fitzgerald Grant." The woman looked up and signaled to someone, "hey Jim, over here, bring the camera, come on, come on, hurry up."
Liv stood up, "I don't have anything to say to you. Now, if you'll excuse me, please." Liv could feel the heat rise to her face, and she had to get out of the setting before her anxiety took over.
"No, Ms. Pope, please just wait, one question, just one question, Ms. Pope, please." The woman started to walk as fast as Liv to try to keep up, and she kept glancing back to the cameraman to hurry up.
Liv was approaching a metal detector signaling entrance to Senate rooms, and she turned to the right to avoid it, zig zagging through the people going by, trying to avoid bumping them at all costs. The little blonde was still on her trail, and others were beginning to look at Liv as she was trying to get away.
"Aww, come on Ms. Pope, just a question." The blonde knew she had Liv cornered, she knew the building and Liv was heading straight to a dead-end wall.
Liv saw the wall and turned. She had two options, face the wall like a weirdo or turn face to face with the reporter, as the camera was being turned on. She also saw a small crowd of people now following the reporter.
"Fuck", Liv whispered under her breath. She crossed her arms. She was in her defensive mode she thought she had outgrown. Her arms were squeezing her hands, and she could feel them begin to shake.
The light of the camera turned on, blinding Olivia, and she put her head down to avoid the glare in her eyes. "I just want to know" the reporter was now speaking into her microphone. "When did you find out Commander Grant was a POW, and did you know about his scars? How long have you been dating; we know it's at least since New Year's having seen you two at the gala?"
Liv wouldn't look up and she could imagine if this was being broadcasted what a fool she must look like. She didn't want to say anything, nothing, Fitz's life was none of their business. She used her shoulder to try to push past the reporter, but she grabbed Liv's arm.
Liv thrusted her arm back, and the reporter lost her grip and Liv pushed her aside, gently, because she didn't want more of a scene than there already was. "I just need to go."
The cameraman stepped in front of Liv, causing her to stop short and as she side stepped to the right to avoid him, he grabbed her shoulder to keep her put until his reporter could get her bearings back. "Oh no little lady, just say a few words, come on."
"Don't touch me." Liv swiped his arm off knocking it off her shoulder and gave him a nudge, the camera fell out of his hands and shattered on the marble floor. Everyone was so caught up in watching the camera take a tumble, Liv took the opportunity to blend into the crowd and make her way back to the lobby.
Fitz was speaking to a security officer as Gerry spotted Liv and ran to her. He took her in his arms. "You alright?"
Fitz looked up and the security officer led them through the metal detector Liv didn't want to go through minutes before. Once through, Gerry let go of Olivia and Fitz interlocked his hand with hers.
"Livvie, you alright." They were walking to the underground tunnel they had come through two hours before.
She could only shake her head. She had no saliva in her mouth to talk, and she was blinking away the anger tears that had formed in her eyes. She just wanted to go home. She rested her head on Fitz's shoulder as they sat in the car as it began to move.
"How the hell did that reporter get in there so close to her?"
"I have no idea, usually they keep the media outdoors unless they are escorted in by someone making a statement. I'll look further into it." Big Gerry took a deep breath.
"It's fine, Mr. Grant, really it is. I am fine Fitz, it's over."
She looked at Gerry. He was visibly upset. Liv didn't think he should head back to Santa Barbara, a long flight, by himself after everything that just happened. "Come with us back to Rutland. Come see a happy time having Chloe's cake and some smiles. You can head back to Santa Barbara tomorrow."
Fitz looked at Liv. She didn't know if he was upset or surprised at what she just did, but either way he agreed with her. "Yeah, dad, you could use some relaxation too, and you could meet the girls, they heard enough about you."
Gerry didn't know what to say. He had never been so honored and humbled before. Olivia seemed to be helping in creating a healthy relationship with Fitz and himself. If Olivia initiated it, he couldn't say no. "Sounds good, as long as you're ok with it Fitz."
"It's fine, dad, really. If you want, we can go visit Two Shot before you head out also. Would that be alright?"
"Would love to give him my get well wishes. Thank you both." Gerry looked out the window as they exited the tunnel. His heart never felt so full as it did right now. He took a deep breath, and he saw one of the Senators from the panel talking to the media. This wasn't going to go away anytime soon, and he feared for Fitz.
"Why are you turning it off Mama? I want to see Wivvie." Lara had seen how upset Liv was that a reporter had cornered her, and she turned it off immediately. She only hoped Liv was able to get out of the situation before it upset her more than it already had.
Her phone rang with a facetime call, and she breathed a sigh of relief seeing it was Fitz's number calling. She answered and saw he was in a car with Liv leaning on his shoulder. "Hey Lara, is Chloe around?"
Before Lara could even answer, Chloe pulled the phone down. "Hi Fitz, oh hi Wivvie, you know what day it is? I am not thwee anymore, now I am four."
"Happy birthday Chloe" they said in sync. "Hey Lara, can you get out the surprise?"
Chloe looked at the phone. "Oh, my first pwesent. I am getting others later at Sophie's." Chloe saw Lara walk in with a big box and two smaller ones on top. "Oh wow, what is it?"
Fitz laughed. "You'll just have to open it to find out."
Lara took the phone back. While Chloe was struggling with the paper, she asked if everything was alright. She told them what they saw briefly on television. "Yeah, I am ok." Liv said. "She came out of nowhere." She lied, because as they turned the corner, just as Gerry was looking at the Senator, Liv noticed Natalie talking with the same reporter.
Natalie wasn't talking like in an interview, she was talking like giving information. Liv knew the only way to shut it down and although she didn't like to bring him in to it, Natalie needed a little reminder from Huck what could happen to her if she doesn't behave.
"The worst ones usually come out of nowhere, glad you are ok. Oh, my goodness Chloe, what do you have there?"
She stood there staring with the biggest smile. Wrapped in the two boxes were complete sets of kids kick boxing items. There was also two new pairs of hand wraps and bright pink boxing gloves. The gloves had her name on them. CHLOE MCCLELLAN in black lettering. The big box Lara had carried over was an art easel complete with paint sets and crayons and 1000 sheets of paper.
"This is the gweatest gift ever! Oh my, I wuv this so so much. You see the gwoves mama, I am going to be the best kick boxer Huck has ever twained, you will see."
"Hey butterfly, you like the art easel. That can go in your room, you can draw about all the times you knock Huck down, how does that sound?"
"Yes Fitz, it's the best art set ever. I can't wait to dwaw, and I am going to dwaw a new wedding picture of you and Wivvie. Is that ok Wivvie?"
Liv's face flushed. She looked over at Gerry who had a big proud smile on his face. "If that's what you want beautiful girl, it's all yours, you do what you want with it."
"I can't wait to see you for cake, it's going to be so so fun to have you two back. I haven't seen you two together in forever. Daisy misses you so so much too." With that, Chloe walked away staring at her new boxing items and started to open the boxes.
"Thanks so much you two, Chloe loves it, let me go help her open the things, have a safe trip, we'll see you later."
"That little girl truly adores both of you. What does she mean another wedding picture, is there something I don't know?"
"When I first met her with Fitz, she swore we would be married. We had only known each other a few days, but she kept drawing pictures of her as a flower girl, of me and Fitz getting married. Her parents were so embarrassed, but it's the innocence of a child speaking her truth. Chloe always speaks the truth. She is wise beyond her years."
"Dad, there's something you should know also. Mellie's baby, the father is hated man in Rutland. She's not going to be welcomed back anytime soon. I haven't told her yet that I know who the father is, but he's not a good person."
"Oh, I wasn't aware. Look I am sorry about how I treated that situation also; it wasn't my place to…"
"Dad, it's fine. My friend Bryce, the Sheriff and Chloe's father, his family was killed by a drunk driver when he was three. His parents and six-year-old brother were crossing a street and a 17-year-old sped through a red light and hit all three of them, killing them instantly. That 17 year old, Devin Kelly, is the father of Mellie's baby. Bryce was at a friend's house too young to go wherever they were going."
"Don't tell me Mellie slept with him. Why isn't he in jail?"
"He has ties to Rutland. Political royalty to say the least. His father and grandfather and so on were mayor, when he did what he did, they sent him off with family up north and he never served time. When his father died, he came back here to claim his heritage and never left."
Liv spoke up. "Chloe saw them on the fourth of July last year getting out of a police cruiser, DJ, the guy, he's a sheriff's officer, Chloe thought she witnessed Mellie being arrested and then let go, we think she witnessed…"
Gerry put his hand up. "Stop, I don't need the details."
"Anyway," Liv continued, "they saw Chloe witness it and they threatened her. The poor girl has had nightmares, scared of Mellie to this day. She isn't a nice person, Gerry, did Fitz tell you how she revealed her pregnancy?"
"I've heard Mellie's version." They pulled up to the airport. The private plane was waiting. "We'll talk more when we get to Rutland." Gerry exited the car and spoke to the pilot.
Before they exited the car, Fitz turned to Olivia. "You sure you are alright?"
"I'm fine, really Fitz, I am. What happened behind closed doors?"
Fitz reached in and gave her a small kiss on the lips. "It's classified, if I tell you then I have to make love to you."
"MMMM, by all means, tell me." She smiled, giving him a big hug.
He grabbed her hand, "come on, we'll talk more on the plane."
"I told them about the plane being shot down and getting taken. I lied and told them communication was the hardest because of the language barrier. Even in classified quarters I wasn't going to expose Huck. With people like Logan in charge, you see how classified documents can get into the wrong hands."
Olivia looked over at Gerry. He was fast asleep in his seat and Liv nodded for Fitz to look. "Things are going well between the two of you."
"Yeah. I know what you would do to have your father back, and I still have mine. Everything that has happened what good is anger going to do?"
"Did you talk to the panel about the abuse?"
Fitz shook his head. "I told them about the lashings, the heat, the withholding of food. I told them everything. It wasn't easy, but I thought of you the whole time, and it eased the pain of having to tell the story. You complete me in so many ways, Liv."
"You know, after you're famous and an American hero, are you still going to love me, or will you leave me for some intolerable reporter that is fascinated with your story?"
He leaned over and whispered in her ear, sending shivers down her spine. "Have you ever made love on a moving plane?"
"Fitz", she whispered, taking a swat at him. "Your father is sleeping 100 feet away."
He looked to the back of the plane. "There are some seats back there, empty you know."
"You are shameless, Mister. No, I am not making love on a moving plane. I want to relax.
"You should relax also, we are going to have a busy few days ahead." Liv rested her head on his shoulder. The motion of the plane had her drifting off into some much needed sleep.
With the quiet all around him Fitz thought of that panel. They wouldn't even let Gerry in with him and that had Gerry's temper flaring. He had to reassure his father he would be fine. He thought he would be, but that line of questioning had him a bit uneasy. He did what needed to be done.
As a United States Naval Officer, he felt he had failed his country once already by being caught. He wasn't going to fail it again by ratting out anything unnecessary. It was his goal to have Admiral Logan go down as a coward, a traitor to his country and all of Fitz's abuse would come down on him.
Fitz placed his forehead on the window of the plane. He closed his eyes and thought back to questioning.
Panel: Lt. Commander Fitzgerald Grant, please state the circumstances of your capture.
Fitz: Upon given the flight plan on the USS Fleet, I boarded my F-15. The mission was to drop two missiles on a remote area of desert. This area was being used to make nuclear weapons. Once the missiles were dropped, I was to head back to the Fleet to assure the mission was accomplished.
Panel: Were you told who ordered this mission?
Fitz: I was handed a flight plan. "By orders of Admiral Logan." I took the plan, the map looked simple enough and I went on my mission. I was told two fighter jets would be behind me to have my back, but they never showed.
Panel: How long before you were shot down?
Fitz: Approximately 20 minutes after takeoff. I had arrived above the destination, and I heard fire. My plane was hit, my engine blown, I ejected as the plan crashed to the desert ground.
Panel: Were you approached by any American soldier?
Fitz: No American soldiers at all. No backup, nothing. It was just a strip of desert land with several concrete buildings. For the next two years all I saw and heard were Iraqi soldiers. They engaged in gunfire, practiced using surface to air missiles, and occasionally came into my dark cell to beat me.
Panel: Were any names spoken during your captivity?
Fitz: The only name I recall hearing time again was Logan. Times they wanted to kill me and were stopped. I was guessing something was being done. Not being a dummy, I am sure blackmail was going on with me being the Majority Leaders son.
Panel: Were you…
Fitz: That's enough. For Christ's sake this is enough. He slammed the table loud enough for the panel to sit in silence. For two years I lived in a dark cell not knowing when my next meal would come. I saw daylight through a small hole in the ceiling that was patched up my third day of captivity. I didn't know when the day started and when the night began. I was let out occasionally to get some air. I did not give any information to anyone. By the grace of God, two years into my captivity I heard gunfire. It had happened when I was outside getting my air. I saw the American flag on the convoy, and I ran. I didn't care if I was shot and killed at that point, I wanted out.
Panel: Were they there on a rescue mission?
Fitz: I don't know Senator; at that point I didn't think to stop and have a conversation. I identified myself, was led onto a jeep and finally taken into freedom. Upon arrival in the states, I was questioned by Admiral Logan and only Admiral Logan. Once again, I will remind you I have the physical scars to prove my captivity and I pray to God you never have the emotional scars I am carrying. Now if you'll excuse, I have a life to go live, may I please be dismissed.
Panel: Senator Marshall pounded the gavel. Meeting adjourned. This is all confidential and classified. You're free to go Lt. Commander and thank you for your service.
Once Fitz exited the room and Gerry jumped with him to follow him to the lobby, he noticed Olivia not waiting there. He heard the commotion going on with a cameraman and reporter and his father ran towards the noise.
It was pure luck Gerry got there first because the camera wouldn't have been all that shattered to pieces if Fitz had arrived first. He took a deep breath now, the plane descending in for the landing. He looked at Liv sleeping on his shoulder.
He was just ready to begin living again. He wanted a stable life now, with no secrets, no nightmares, just waking up to Liv every morning. Liv and Two Shot being victims in all this, he never wanted that. Now it's his game, his move, and he will deal with it when the time is right.
As the plane touched down, Liv lifted her head. She rubbed his arm. "You ok, Mister, you look deep in thought."
"Just fine Livvie, let's go begin our lives."
It was loud in Sophie's. One of the loudest Liv had heard it, even when there were more people there. Chloe had music blaring from Disney movies and there was a karaoke machine. Even though it was a school night, the girls were still wide awake having as much fun as they deserved.
The three of them walked in and Chloe jumped into Fitz's arms. They rubbed their noses together and she gave him big hug. She whispered in his ear, and he nodded his head, smiling. Fitz put her down and she ran to Liv.
Liv knelt to her level and gobbled her up in her arms. "Hey four-year-old, this looks like a great party."
"Oh, it is so so fun. Will you sing kawayoke with me, pwease Wivvie, we can sing wet it go."
Liv had to laugh at the song title as Chloe said it. "Sure, just let me get settled."
They introduced Gerry to the girls. Alyssa and Brianna shook his hand and then took off back into the party. Chloe stared at him for a moment. Liv and Fitz didn't know what to expect. "Hello young lady, Fitz and Olivia tell me all good things about you."
"You're Fitz's daddy?"
"I am."
"Your name is Gewwy?"
"Yes, short for Fitzgerald. He shortens it to Fitz I shorten it to Gerry."
Gerry was stunned by what young Chloe did next. She hugged him tight around his waist and he had to pick her up so not to fall. Then she rested her head on his shoulder and hugged him tighter, patting his back and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Thank you, Gewwy for Fitz. He is my best fweind and I wuv him so so much. My daddy takes good care of me, so you did that with Fitz." She pecked him on the cheek and jumped from his arms. Gerry just stood there shocked.
Liv walked over to him, Fitz had found his way to Sparks and Letecia and was talking to them. Liv locked her arm into Gerry's arm. "See, told you she was a special kid."
As the cake was brought out by Leo, Fitz looked around. The door opened and just in time for the cake was Huck. Liv jumped and gave him a big hug, despite him not liking touch. He was her Huck, and he was getting a hug.
Fitz was deep in thought again. There was his circle, his family, right there in one room. Besides missing Monica and Two Shot, this is all Fitz needed. He knew the next few days would be rough in Rutland until he told his story to the American people, but this is all he wanted right now in this moment.
The cake held five tall candles that lit up the dark room. It was a beautifully decorated strawberry shortcake with the words "Happy Birthday Chloe" written so nicely on it. As Leo set it down, Chloe took a big strawberry filled with cream off the top.
As the room filled with the sound of song Happy Birthday, Chloe took a huge bite of the strawberry, cream filling her lips and nose. Her smile was genuine having the people she loved around her. Her fears put to rest for now. She was anticipating her classes with Huck, a wedding for her Wivvie and Fitz, and learning to ride her new two-wheeler with her sisters, that's what she wished for when she blew out the candles.
As they were all now eating the delicious cake made by Leo, Liv asked Fitz what Chloe whispered in his ear. He chuckled, swallowed his cake, and said "She told me not to worry about the boo boos, Wivvie loves them and that's all that matters."
Liv took some cream onto her finger and rubbed it on the side of Fitz's mouth. "She isn't wrong though." She pulled his head down so his lips met hers and she took the cream away. As they were kissing, they heard Abby "Children are present, have some manners."
Liv pulled away smiling. "Love you Mr. Grant."
Late that evening around 3 am, Natalie Logan heard her phone ringing over again. She thought it was a dream and kept letting it go. The third time it woke her out of her sleep she picked up the call to an unknown number. "Who the fuck is this?"
She recognized Huck's voice right away although she had no idea that was his name. It sent chills up and down her body. "Hi Natalie, remember me?"
"I…I…didn't do anything, I am keeping to the agreement." She had to take a hard swallow; she could hardly breathe.
"I am watching Olivia getting approached by a reporter at the Capitol Building, inside the Capitol Building. How did she get to Olivia? Natalie, you care to explain that?"
"I..I..it won't happen again."
"Listen, I can erase you from this Earth. No one will miss you, not one person, trust me. One more fuck up like you did yesterday, it's over so have your things in order. Stay out of Fitz and Olivia's life."
She heard the line go dead, and she was shivering. For all she knew he could be right outside her door. How the fuck did he know anyway about the reporter? She can't question it. He knew and if she thought she was being discreet, obviously he was right when he said he would have someone watching her every move for the rest of her life.
She began to cry, to sob. She was finally understanding the two years of life Fitz had to live in captivity. He was a prisoner and although she knew she did nothing to help him. He suffered with scars and emotional fear. Now, as her body continued to shiver, she is living that same life. She has her scar, and she is emotionally scared of who is watching her.
Fitz knows and he is doing nothing to help her. She deserves it. Right there she swore she would ignore anything else about Fitz and Olivia. She was done. She needed stability and she wasn't going to get it worrying about revenge. It was over, and she wasn't going to challenge Huck. She didn't have a death wish. Natalie Logan would be out of their lives for good.
Two Weeks Later
Rutland was gearing up for the next big event. Huck was ready to open his martial arts studio and this weekend he was having his first big event. Saturday would be the open house, where all were welcome to see examples of some classes and the inside of the studio.
Sunday was Chloe's big birthday bash. She had invited all the kids in the neighborhood over the age of 4, but under the age of 10. It was a kickboxing; Moana themed birthday and it was sure to be bigger news than having a POW living in town.
Fitz had planned with Jared Anderson, a local reporter to tell his story. He had just graduated from the community college and was working on a new local paper for Rutland. It was going to be called The Rutland Reporter. He was honored Fitz had chosen him. Jared was going to be on hand also reporting about the open house and Rutland's newest small business.
Not wanting anything to interfere with Chloe's big day Fitz scheduled the interview for the Monday after the party. In the past two weeks, he had been receiving calls from MSNBC, CNN, CSpan, and all the other news outlets. The story began to wind down and there was finally some stability.
Two Shot was released from rehab. He was still in a wheelchair, but he had slight movement in his legs. The movement was minimal, but Fitz had hired a full-time nurse and a full time physical therapist to help him and Monica adjust.
It had been eight weeks since the attack and the doctors couldn't believe the progress he was making. It did not come as a surprise to Fitz and Sparks. They saw him get through the worst of his life, if Two Shot was anything, it was a fighter.
For the first month of rehab, if needed, longer, Two Shot and Monica would stay at Liv's place. Fitz had his friends from El's lumber install a handicap ramp so the house was wheelchair accessible. They were welcomed back to Rutland two days ago and Two Shot said he wouldn't miss Chloe's party for anything.
The open house went well. Devon Jr. and Owen had a chance to demonstrate the under four classes. Chloe had her own four-year-old class because she was four, not under four. The older girls demonstrated 6 and up and 8 and up. Several older kids and teenagers from the high school also participated.
Huck had hired three former military friends who had previously been homeless. They were all black belts in martial arts, and they were training some of the teenagers to become instructors to the younger kids. The town of Rutland was buzzing and truly excited for such a wonderful business and opportunity for the younger generation to open.
In time, Huck would have recruiting there for any high school student losing their way and seeking the military to success, but for now he was focused on getting started.
Abby was a huge help, organizing the events, the schedule, and planning the free food to be given out. It was settled when Huck went back to NY, Abby would oversee the running of the place.
Olivia and Fitz were so happy for Huck. Olivia couldn't remember a time she saw him so happy. He had nothing to worry about. He had protected those he loved. It was a long road, but he got there. Chloe was his biggest fan and his star student. She had Bryce install a punching bag in their basement and Lara said she was down there for hours with her boxing gear. She finally found a way to let out her anger.
She had challenged Fitz to a boxing match, and he promised her he would take her up on the offer once the interview was done and Huck was settled with the business.
On the day of the birthday party, Fitz and Olivia woke up in Fitz's bedroom. The king size bed not nearly big enough to separate them. Liv was clung to his chest as she woke up to the sunlight gleaming in.
She began kissing his chest as he rubbed her back. "Good morning my Mister."
"Mmm, good morning Ms. Livvie, did you sleep well?"
"Always in the arms of my man." She guided her hand down his body and stopped at his bulge. "What do we have here?"
"He is always ready to say good morning to you also." Fitz said smiling.
Without any hesitation, Liv wrapped her leg around his waist and her knees were on either side of his body. Fitz held her hips and he watched as she perfectly lined her entrance and went down on his dick, watching it disappear into her.
"Fuck, Livvie, ahhh." Her eyes were closed as she felt him inside her. She was biting her bottom lip, her eyebrows furrowed as if she was holding the pleasure in. He rubbed her stomach up to her breasts where his fingers found her nipple and he began squeezing them gently.
Soon her body went from a circular motion to slowly moving back and forth. Fitz's thumb had now moved down and was circling the top of her clit. Liv had nothing to do with her hands, so she began rubbing her breasts and moaning at the same time. Her rhythm began to go faster, and her body began reacting. She felt Fitz grab her ass, to turn her so he was on top, but she said "no, I want to feel it, just like this."
She looked at him. Now his eyes were still closed, and he was taking in the feeling. God, how she loved this man. Her hands made their way to his chest, and his grip on her hips got tighter and he began to move with her.
Liv could feel the sweat building up on her chest, and on one movement he hit her spot and she fell forward with her body shaking and her moaning. He emptied soon after, and she stayed on his chest, with his arms wrapped around her.
Several minutes had gone by and she took a deep breath. She raised her head, and his hand quickly caressed her cheek. "Love you, Livvie."
"Love you mister. Care to shower?"
"When have I ever denied that?"
As the future Grants were showering, the town was getting ready for the big birthday bash.
Monica had just exited the bathroom, tears of joy in her eyes. She had confirmed what she had thought for a few days. She was holding a positive pregnancy test in her hands. That one night with Samuel had been special enough for them to conceive. In case the news in the future was bad, they had their miracle baby. Monica couldn't wait to share the news with him.
Abby was at the studio decorating for the town's youngest star. Moana decorations lined the wall on one side and on the other, pictures of women kick boxers and regular boxers. Leo was making the most spectacular Moana cake and Sophie was cooking for the entire town.
Huck was talking to his instructors about how to handle the influx of kids that would be taking over the studio soon. He wanted nothing but perfection for his young friend.
Chloe was awake at the break of dawn. She had gone to the basement and kicked the punching bag for a while. She just had a bad dream about Mellie and that police officer. She was scared but she didn't bother her mother and father anymore. She used her fear by hitting the punching bag.
"I don't like dweaming of Mewwie and that bad man." She kicked the bag with each word. "Today is my pwarty nothing will wuin it."
Her mother called to her to get ready. She had a special kick boxing outfit picked out and all her new boxing things from Liv and Fitz. Chloe was looking forward to her special day.
Bryce had been called to work before any of the folks were awake. Before the break of dawn, he had received a call from the rehab hospital DJ was in. His sheriff officer had finally cracked. He had a mental breakdown. When an orderly was bringing in his medicine, he kicked him down and broke his neck, killing him instantly.
With so much time in rehab and nothing to do but get better, DJ's leg was better than brand new. He was now on a mission. That little girl, Fitzgerald Grant, and his girlfriend had ruined his life for the last time. He was ready to claim what was his: the town of Rutland. Anyone who got in his way would join the orderly he just killed.
