"YOU! YOU TOOK HER AWAY! I WON'T LET HER GO! SHE'S MINE! I NEED HER!"

The bastard sure screamed a lot now that his plans were falling apart. That was fine. It'd make shutting him up all the more satisfying. Truth was, Flygon could barely pay attention to the villain's words through the thrum of his heartbeat in his ears. The unusually slow and steady thump that was his normal had instead become a pounding staccato drum beat. Ba-bum-ba-bum, each beat honing his focus more, like the whole world was slowing down around him. He could feel every shift in the air, smell the metallic tang and taste the cloying dust of the disturbed underground, and see every twitch of Overhaul's movements.

One hand planted on his concrete spire to raise it ever higher. The other three ready, knowing he would need to intercept the incoming dragonfly. One touch of any one of his hands. That was all it would take to end this and they both knew it.

And still Flygon smiled. Smirked. Supremely confident. For all that Overhaul presented an existential threat to him with a simple touch, it wasn't his first time facing such an opponent. Overhaul didn't have shit on All for One. And so the dragonfly twirled as he descended, the red streak twisting into a spiral and striking out all in the span of an eye blink. This villain wasn't a fighter, not really. He was a schemer whose schemes had fallen apart. And now–

"Dragon Rush!"

The villain's ascent, both figurative and literal, was halted by the cruel fist of reality. His dreams of 'cleansing' the world would crash down with him. The air pressure of Flygon's approach was enough to force the hands back, to say nothing of the fist slamming into his face, completely shattering the mask fused into it. Knocked off his pedestal, all Overhaul could do was fall.

Around halfway.

Deku used the various spikes and spires Overhaul had made himself as footholds until finally a mighty kick up and toward the villain that shattered her launching point into scattered debris. Overhaul still reeling from the sudden impact faster than he could see, there was no way for him to prepare for the follow-up coming from the other direction. All Might's legacy spun as her foot lashed out to kick him in the back before he could land. "St. Louis Smash!"

There was no yell of pain, just the sound of a wet, meaty impact as Deku's foot met the unstable flesh of Overhaul's self-modifications. Whether the villain was even still conscious was in question as he rocketed toward a flat surface under the hole to the open sky.

"Nice, Deku!" Flygon cheered her, coming in for a very measured high five.

"Thanks!" she accepted the praise with uncharacteristic confidence. "He might've died if he landed on those spikes." That certainly wasn't the reason Flygon thought she had done it. Then again, 'hit him again' was more his kind of motivation while 'save even the bad guys' was much more in line with hers. "Saiki, you're bleeding bad!"

"Huh?" He followed her eyeline to his injury from before. "It's fine, I can't even feel it."

"That doesn't make it better!"

"I'll get it checked out later. For now–"

"Guys!" Lemillion called up to them. "Sir needs help!"

"Heeheehee! Wheeeee!" Himiko Toga giggled as she soared down the street away from the heroes. That girl was so fun! Such a cutie, and they were rivals now! That was so nice! She'd never had a love rival before! Toga was in the lead though! Uraraka hadn't ever been in Saiki's skin before!

It was an amazing feeling. She had been super right when she wondered if he had super blood. He totally did! It was amazing, so rich and tasty, and when she took his form... Wow! What a rush! She was powerful, she was fast, it was like every little inconvenience of being human was smoothed away when she was in his skin. And his dingdong, it was huge! Also weirdly shaped, but that was just one of those many unique things that made her Saiki who he was! And his body was sure excitable. It was a good thing she could take his whole outfit too when she took his form because she'd had a raging erection ever since Uraraka caught her. So strong, so fierce, so proud, all in such a cute little package! Himiko couldn't wait to taste her too! It wouldn't be as special as being in her Saiki's skin but it would be special in its own way!

Speaking of Uraraka, it seemed she had cancelled her quirk's effect based on Himiko's sudden descent. "Unh! Heeheehee!" She skipped like a stone down the road, barely feeling the first or second impact before she got her feet under her on the third. She'd ended up pretty damn far away from where she needed to be to meet up with Jin and Compress. When she had been caught, that bimbo girl had sent her flying off in the wrong direction. But that was okay, she could just swing back around and find another path. Or sneak back to the hideout on her own. That probably made more sense. Jin and Compress would be doing that too.

"Hi!"

Oh great, the goofy bimbo was back. Floating above her all high and mighty. Well, high. There was only one of them that was currently mighty and it wasn't the bimbo.

"You're not Flygon, so you must be a villain!" the bimbo declared. "Identity theft is a crime, you know! Come quietly please!"

Himiko smiled. Would it be better to escape? Or to kill her? She was pretty sure Tomura wouldn't really care one way or the other. What, would they get declared 'most wanteder'? On the other hand, this girl was a nobody. No one would care if she died. Decisions decisions.

Nah!

Himiko had never been good at impulse control and she wanted to see what bimbo tasted like! "Heehee!" She leapt at the hero who swayed in the air out of the way. Raised an arm to do another of those weird wave blasts but had to give it up else she let Himiko grab that arm.

"You're as strong as he is!" the bimbo declared, firing off a blast aimed at Toga's back as she fell, only for Toga to dodge the instant she landed and come up again. "How? Did you steal his quirk?" The comments and questions weren't made with any kind of desperation, just curiosity. It was like she wasn't being taken seriously. "No, or you'd be flying like me! You're strange!"

Himko's smile faltered. Strange. "What's wrong with that?"

"I didn't mean it like– OH!" The bluenette yelped in mild panic as Himiko fought more fiercely. Attacked her head on and even when challenged by a blast of energy made no move to dodge it. Her Saiki's enhanced body would protect her. The impact not even knocking the wind out of her as she grabbed the bimbo hero and with a vicious smile, stabbed at her chest, only for the blade to be knocked to one side. But, Himiko wasn't without her skills, and with her Saiki's enhanced physicality, that knife was able to tear across the hero's outstretched arm instead. "H-Ngh!" A wince of pain, a firm frown, and another stronger blast to throw Himiko away.

"I like being strange!" Himiko declared with a giggle. "It's the normal people who are the monsters."

There was no sign of any other hero giving chase. Everyone too focused on getting that bastard Overhaul. Toga got what she wanted, but that didn't mean she had to stop playing with her food. And it was so funny watching the bimbo look all serious while turning up her arm thingies. Making her blasts stronger? That would be funny, maybe she could get a stress test in for just how tough her Saiki really was! That needle she used in the license exam had crazy penetration power. Might as well see what she could get out of this the next time she tasted him. She only had a little more of his blood to spare, after all.

She grinned wide again. Especially as the bimbo looked around, before descending a little from on high. Probably thought if she didn't give Himiko a 'chance' she might just leave. Nah! The bimbo was fun to fight! She didn't seem to care when she got cut up, which put her up several notches in Toga's book. She was also better up close than expected. She had to be. They were in a residential area so there wasn't a chance a 'hero' would throw blasts around if they might hurt someone. She had to use those blasts sparingly and only in safe directions. But wow! She was good at picking her spots and whatever those arm thingies did, the blasts packed a wallop now!

Well, it was getting to be time to leave. Once again Himiko charged the hero, swayed away from a blast that cratered the road.

The bimbo was smiling again as Himiko approached. The knife flashed out, in a series of swings intended to be countered, followed by a leap up and over the bleeding hero's head to bring the knife down into her back–

A sudden impact sent her flipping end over end. She didn't know where it came from. The girl's hands were out of position to retaliate, so how–? As she flipped, she managed to catch a glimpse of the hero's outstretched leg. Her quirk wasn't restricted to just her hands like so many were.

And now she was helpless.

"You're a lot less predictable in a fight than Flygon is!" the hero commented with a wide, carefree smile. as she floated overhead, both arms pointed down at the villain as they began to move in narrow circles. "But I've been doing this for a while! Sorry!"

She was airborne! She was helpless!

"Nejire Flood!"

"Ahhhhh!" Himiko screamed in her Saiki's voice as the blast slammed into her body and sent her crashing into the asphalt, only to continue to hold her down under the onslaught. She couldn't move!

After several painful seconds, the pressure stopped. It was time to leave. Not just because she was losing this fight, but because she was running out of time. She wasn't meant to still be in the area for this long, especially not while fighting the heroes! It was why she was able to save some of her Saiki's blood for later. So much for that.

The moment she was free, she went for it. That little bit of his blood she had left. She'd need it for a fighting retreat before she could turn into somebody else and disappear. She grabbed the vial and readied to bite down on it to take in the blood as fast as possible. Her Saiki's body could take it. But as she flicked the small glass container up to her mouth, something smashed it out of the air. "No!" It wasn't the bimbo, she was still recovering from her last attack! So who?!

The vampiric villain tracked the long, pink implement to its source, finding a familiar dark-haired girl dressed in black and green squatting on a building overlooking the street.

"I don't know what that was, but nice save Froppy!"

"Thanks Nejire Chan," the frog girl replied. "I know who you are now. You're Himiko Toga, the villain who attacked me and Uravity at the training camp, aren't you?"

"No..." Himiko whined. She could feel it. Not just in her quirk, but in her body, the start of her reversion. "No no no no no!" The skin sloughing off of her skin, the false clothing melting away to reveal her naked body underneath. "No!"

It was gone. Her Saiki's power was gone and they had destroyed the last of his blood that she had. This sucked! This seriously sucked! She just wanted to play a little!

"I'm going to say it again," bimbo named Nejire said as she dropped to stand over her. "Come quietly please!"

Himiko still held the knife in her hand, gripped it as tightly as she could. Nejire rightly didn't fear it. If Himiko couldn't win while superpowered she had no chance as her normal self. She needed a way out.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw it, but forced herself not to watch. As a result, Nejire didn't even have time to look surprised as a tiny marble turned into a masked man, as that masked man touched her once and she became just another tiny marble.

"NEJIRE!" Froppy's tongue struck out again and slapped the man so hard he instantly turned to mud. She tried to grab the marble but Himiko was quicker, caught the tiny ball and put it between her teeth. "Let her go!" the frog girl demanded as she leapt down from the roof.

"Of course! / Not a chance!" Twice declared as he hid Himiko behind him.

"Careful!" the blonde villain taunted, rolling the marble between her teeth. "Don't want me to get nervous and bite down, do you? Do you think she'd feel it? Oh, or even worse, what if I accidentally swallowed it? Sounds like an ugly way to go!" Tough to speak like that, but it got the point across.

She could see the frog girl sweat. Tough break getting caught in a dangerous situation like this. But! That was the hero business! "If you do that, you have no leverage. I'll make sure they put you in a hole you'll never crawl out of."

"Ooh, scary! Question, though! If that Compress was a clone... Where's the real one?" Himiko began to play with the marble on her tongue. Keep her vulnerable. Keep her paranoid. "If he left her helpless, what are your chances all alone against the three of us? How about this? You let us leave, and we give her back. Not a scratch on her. Pinky promise!"

"Why would I ever trust you?"

"Hm, you know, that's a good point. Guess we're at an impasse." Grinning, she spat the marble into her hand, then faked a throw in one direction before rolling it down the street the opposite direction. Froppy only fell for the fake for an instant but it was an instant in which she leapt in the wrong direction. "Uh-oh! Looks like she might roll into a storm drain! Better catch her before she's lost forever! Bye, Froppy!"

Of course, they didn't stay to watch the frog desperately chase her friend and save her from the sewers. Instead, they escaped as fast as they were able. Compress used his quirk on Jin and Toga transformed into a random civilian, letting them get away clean. Only when they were well away did they stop to breathe.

"Hoo! That was a close one! / No problem!" Jin exclaimed once he was restored to his proper shape, giving her a thumbs up.

"Not the smoothest escape act I've ever taken part in, that's for certain," Compress said with a sigh of relief. "But at least we're away."

Easy for him to say. She lost her precious super blood!

Then again, she thought as she examined her bloody knife, it wasn't like she came away entirely empty-handed.

Nighteye was in a bad way. Though he sure could've been worse given how Eraser and Flygon had fared in this fight. "What happened?" Flygon asked as he looked at the somewhat mangled hero. His bones broken and bent the wrong way. Bruised and bleeding.

"Remember what he tried to do to Eri?" Lemillion asked. "I got him out of the way the first time, I was a little late for the second."

"I'll be fine," Nighteye insisted. "Nothing vital. Just some broken bones. Quite humerus."

"Good one, Sir!"

Well, if he was making jokes. Still, "Alright," Flygon said, a little disappointed to play evac duty again. "I'll get him to the surface if you two secure–."

"UAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

The scream reverberated through the cavern. The dragonfly hero was fastest to respond, leaping over the wall Nighteye was perched behind to see what made it. "Change of plans. We need to put that down first."

Overhaul had done it again. His first modification had been destroyed by Deku but he had made another. Found the flesh taken from him and reintegrated it. Found the villain who had crashed through the ceiling and reintegrated that too. And in the end, what was left were bloody smears, and a monster.

Made of hands.

"Sir," Lemillion said, clenching his fists as he looked at the monster Overhaul had become. "Just hold on here a little longer."

"Don't let those hands touch you," Flygon warned, looking specifically at Deku.

"Right! We won't let him get away! We won't let him hurt Eri anymore!"

None of them saw Nighteye looking up at them from below. None of them saw his flat expression twist upward into a smile.

Overhaul leapt up as well as he could, reaching for the surface. "NONE OF YOU! NONE OF YOU UNDERSTAND! I'M GOING TO–!"

"We don't care!" Deku yelled as she launched herself upward. "Air Force Delaware Smash!" A finger flick with the power of a hurricane crashed into the enormous bulk of Overhaul's giant body. The air pressure denying his ascent and driving him back down.

Lemillion sank into the rock, bounced out toward the monster only to sink into the body and bounce out again. "Phantom Menace!" Whether the villain realised it or not, his giant, many limbed form had become a perfect springboard for Lemillion to attack or manoeuvre at his own discretion. The hero moved like a pinball bouncing back and forth across Overhaul's grotesque form, too fast for the villain to even think of countering.

And so he went for a less direct response.

Flygon saw the hands reaching. He was going for the walls, going for reshaping the room again like he had so many times before. And so he had to be stopped. Once again he became a streak of red light moving in erratic patterns. This time it would be something he couldn't use in almost any other situation. As his wings carried him forward at incredible speeds, he pushed his arms forward as he drove headfirst toward the villain and began to spin. Wings outstretched. "Drill Run!" He punched into the grotesque and malleable flesh hard enough to punch right through. But the rotation of his hardened and razor sharp wings did far more damage than that. They tore and rended the makeshift limb until it tore clean off and dropped to the floor with a heavy thud.

Of course, at those speeds Flygon couldn't stop quickly and so he slammed into the wall behind Overhaul. The pain of it managed to punch through the numbness of adrenaline. But pain was nothing new and so he reset himself and fired himself again, tearing off yet another limb.

Against the combined onslaught, there was little the villain could do. He could heal himself without need to touch anything. He could reshape himself infinitely. But the heroes didn't allow him a single moment of reprieve to retaliate. "STOP! I'M GOING TO CURE THIS WORLD! I–!"

The villain stopped.

Lemillion slammed into and bounced off one of Overhaul's limbs.

Deku stumbled as her physicality was reduced significantly.

And Flygon... His wings stilled entirely, unable to move. But even as he fell out of the air, that was the least of his problems.

"Ghkhhh!" It came out as a strained, agonised groan. "Gh! Hh!" His body was shaking. His heart vibrated in his chest for how hard it was beating.

Until it stopped.

He reached out, tried to crawl, he didn't know where. He looked around as his vision began to darken. Everything was agony, but even more terrifying was how that agony was beginning to fade. "I... zu..."

Deku looked at Overhaul, the mangled creature he had become, before she glanced down at her own hands. One for All wasn't working. Which meant... She looked up at the hole in the ceiling to see Eraserhead looking down at her. She grinned. "His quirk is shut down! Lemillion, Flygon, we can–!"

Looking around, she saw Lemillion already on it. Even without his quirk he was a physical powerhouse and wasted no time punching Overhaul into unconsciousness.

But Flygon... "Flygon?" He was just lying there. Did he exhaust himself? That'd be a first. Or maybe passed out from his injuries. She ran over. "Hey." Rolled him over.

His eyes were open.

He wasn't breathing.

"... Saiki?"

Panic gripped her. "WE NEED A DOCTOR DOWN HERE!"

Eraserhead! That had to be it! Saiki had a regeneration quirk! If it was shut off with those injuries–! She picked him up and carried him as far away out of Eraser's line of sight as she could, trying to activate her quirk. Once she felt Full Cowling come back to her, she kept going a little further before putting Saiki down. No pulse. CPR. She had to get his heart beating again or beat it for him! His toughness would get in the way of that. So... "Full Cowling! 50%!" Her body ached with every movement but it was necessary! "One! Two! Three! Four!" she counted out compressions with tears in her eyes. "Come on, Saiki! You made me promise, that doesn't mean you get to do it you jerk! Ten! Eleven!" She continued on before opening his mouth and sealing his nose to deliver rescue breaths. "Come on! Come on! You can't do this, not now! Not when I–!"

"Ghhhhhhhh!" A powerful, strangled gasp as Saiki lurched upward, wild-eyed and panicked.

"Saiki!"

Then suddenly a body that was a combination of reassuringly hard and comfortingly soft was wrapped around him. "Whuh?! Wha' jus'?!"

"You're okay!" Izuku sobbed. "I thought–! I thought I–! It's, it's your turn to promise me, you jerk!"

That really didn't answer any of his questions.
