Chapter 47

"No, first squeeze it a bit, ok. Does it feel firm? It has to feel firm, not too soft, but not too hard either. That's when you know it's ready." Fitz said in her ear.

"So, you're saying if it's too hard it's not good?" Olivia asked, smiling.

"Precisely, see, you want it like this. Give me your hand." Fitz took Olivia's hand and put it on the firm object.

"Yes, definitely firm." Olivia agreed.

"Ok, now you have to pull, here, pull right here, but be gentle ok." Fitz said.

"Pull, but gently, got it." Olivia gave a tug.

"Oh yeah," Fitz said. "It's good and ready. Nice work, Livvie." Fitz was all smiles.

"That was….well…" Olivia looked around and pulled his ear to her lips. "Erotic."

"Who would have thought picking out a pineapple would be such a turn on right?" Fitz said a bit too loud. He looked at her still holding the leaf he had her pull out.

"Fitz!" Olivia gave him a nudge. "Not so loud, the store is crowded. You're more likely to know someone here, this is your hometown." She looked around and noticed an older lady looking at them. She did not look amused. "I think she heard us, Fitz." Liv tried to smile and walk away.

"Fitzgerald Grant the Third, with my own eyes." The woman looked sternly at Fitz.

"Told you." Olivia whispered as Fitz turned to see who knew him.

Liv watched as the face had to come back to Fitz's memory. Liv knew the second Fitz's cheeks became red with embarrassment he recognized her.

"I see you listened in sex education class, you gave your lady here quite the description of picking out a pineapple." The woman stood there, just tight lipped.

"I had the best teacher. My goodness Mrs. Jamieson, how are you?" Fitz walked over to her and gave the older lady a gentle hug. "I haven't been the same since 10th grade sex ed."

"I would know that description of picking a pineapple anywhere, it's the only lesson that kept you little puberty crazed teenager's attention. I think it was even better when I brought the pineapple in." Mrs. Jamieson laughed.

"Mrs. Jamieson, please, I'd like you to meet Olivia Pope, Olivia is my fiancé, and we are expecting our first child in December." Fitz smiled as he introduced her to someone he truly respected.

"Hmm, I guess you didn't listen too well then in sex ed." Mrs. Jamieson smiled and put her hand out for Olivia. "He was one of my best students, the most respectful, by far, that's for sure. It's a pleasure to meet you and congratulations on your engagement and your pregnancy."

"Thank you." Olivia said nodding her head. "Fitz still has the most gentle of manners. He is one of the most respectful men I have ever met and I'm not just saying that because he's my fiancé." She tilted her head towards his chest as he put his arm around her.

"Have you retired Mrs. Jamieson? You were, well you still are, one of the best teachers I have ever had. You understood the needs of the kids. I think of you often and how patient you were with all of us, especially the sex crazed boys in 10th grade."

"Yes, Fitzgerald, retired now for ten years. Here and there I will go in to sub, I volunteer at some youth programs, but losing Jackson three years ago really took a toll on me." She said sadly.

"I am so sorry, Mrs. Jamieson. Sometimes I wondered who really was principal, you or him. You both left such a wonderful mark on so many students."

She took a deep breath and got back to the present. "What about you? I heard of your unfortunate time in Iraq, I always worried about you, knowing you were deployed. Many students asked about you also. Jackson spoke highly of you to the student body. Our church also led a prayer group when turmoil was high over there."

"Thank you, I was one of the lucky ones though. There were so many that didn't come back, and although I was a POW, I'm grateful to have been able to return home, find love, and now continue to live my life." Fitz smiled.

"And your father? How is he doing?"

"He's good, he just remarried, he's happy. He's retired, as you may know. Actually, we are shopping because we crashed the ranch. I have friends and their family coming over, so we decided to do the shopping and take a burden off him and his staff." He looked down at Liv.

Mrs. Jamieson looked at Olivia. "I am sure I don't have to tell you the type of man Fitzgerald is, I am glad he is with someone who understands what he's been through and you can love him through it. I wish only the best of years to you both. I should be on way."

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Jamieson. I thank God every day that I met Fitz and we found love with each other. My condolences on the loss of your husband but thank you for always keeping Fitz in your thoughts."

She patted Liv's hand and gave Fitz another gentle hug. "Make sure you shop for plenty of pineapples, it makes for more than one child." She whispered and gave him a pat on the back. She wheeled her cart away, not even looking back.

Fitz watched as she disappeared down another aisle. He was just staring now at no one.

"Fitz." Liv walked over to him. "You alright?"

He looked down now, then back up at Liv. "There were many nights in captivity I thought of her. She had a soothing voice, yet she was so stern. All the students respected her, not just because her husband was a principal, she had a way of showing she cared about us, not about subject matter." He gave a sighing laugh. "Remembering her voice, her lessons, it calmed me down in that tiny dirt cell." He pulled Liv close to him and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Come on," She began pushing the cart. "We don't want to be late for when Sparks an Letecia get there with the boys."

"Let's go over by the meats. I can't wait until I show you how to pick those out."

Liv shook her head. "You are shameless Mr. Grant, aren't you?"

Fitz and Olivia had decided to takeover the supermarket run. They had planned the meals for the next five days, that's how long Sparks was staying with the family. They would spend the weekend, him and Fitz anyway at the Giants game while they played the Lake Monsters for the three day weekend.

Friends and families of Fitz and Gerry would be going to Friday night's game in the owner's box. Olivia was looking forward to the game, but also the other nights while Fitz was there with Sparks, she would have some time with Letecia and the boys.

"You think maybe we can face time the girls back in Rutland." Liv asked as they stood on the checkout line.

"You missing your little buddy?" Fitz asked.

Liv nodded her head. Chloe had become a big piece of her heart. She missed her voice, she missed her cute little cheeks, her pretty drawings, and her funny stories. "Yeah, we've been through a lot together, she's grown on me."

"Then we face time them."

Back at the ranch the doorbell rang. "Why is he ringing the doorbell? He lives here." Gerry got up from the couch and opened the door trying to shush the barking Daisy who was as curious now as Gerry was.

"SUPWISE, oh hi Gewwy. Oh, wook, it's Daisy." Chloe knelt down to pet the excited Daisy, her tail going furiously now seeing her little friend. Little Chloe looked up at Gerry. "Where's Wivvie and Fitz?"

"Chloe." Gerry looked surprised. "I didn't know you were coming." He looked up to see Sparks with the rest of the family approaching the door.

"Me either." She shrugged. "Next thing I know I am on a airpwane, and DJ and Owen and me are heading here to see Fitz and Wivvie." Chloe looked and saw Lucia standing facing them.

While Gerry greeted Sparks and family Chloe walked up to Lucia. "Hewwo ma'am I am Cwoee, Cwoee McCwewen, nice to meet you."

"Galinda, nina, I am Lucia, Gerry's wife." She rubbed Chloe's cheek. "Welcome to Santa Barbara." The boys came over behind Chloe.

"This is DJ and Owen, my vewy best fwiends in the whole wide world. What does Gawinda mean?"

"That means cute in Spanish." Gerry joined the crew now sitting on the couch and chairs in the living room. "Fitz and Olivia went food shopping; they should be back in a half hour. Can I get you something to drink? Would you like a tour? Sparks needs no tour, but you're welcome to a tour." He looked at the others. Daisy had finally settled down and waslaying in the middle of the room, happy some humans she knew were around.

"Is it twue you have a pool? I wike to swim." Chloe asked.

"Yes, we do have a pool, indoor and outdoor. We also have the beach right outside our door. What's your liking?"

Chloe grabbed little Owen's hand and ran to the window. She stood up on her tip toes and said "Wow, so so cool, wook Owen, it's the beach. Whales and dowphnis wive there." Owen just nodded not really sure what he was looking at.

"We figured we would surprise Olivia by bringing Chloe. It was an unexpected, long detour, but we wanted to go there. We went to Rutland to visit Sam, figured he could use the company with Fitz being gone, he's coming along. He's able to stand now. Soon, the doctors think, he could begin taking steps."

Gerry breathed a sigh of relief. "That's wonderful news." He turned towards Lucia. "Two Shot", Gerry said to Lucia. "He's the one Logan."

"Por favor deje de" Lucia said. "I remember." She didn't need Gerry reliving the guilt he felt over Fitz's friend.

"So, we're looking forward to the game tomorrow. We went to the A's game the other day, Olivia sure does know her baseball."

Letecia nodded. "That she does. She's amazing, I told Sparks to hire her." Letecia laughed.

"I told Fitz the same thing, but she's too much into the Yankees."

"Through and through she bleeds pinstripe blue." Sparks said. "That's exactly how she put it. You should hear her and Sam go at it, it's comical."

DJ hopped into Spark's lap. "Can we see the pool?" He whispered.

Sparks looked back at Chloe and Owen still staring at the water outside the window. "Ready, you two, let's go see the pool, outdoor and indoor. Which one of you should I toss in?"

"Ahhh, they all yelled in unison as Sparks chased them down the hall."

"This was my high school." Fitz and Liv sat in the car staring at the building in front of them. "This is where I made the decision to go into the NAVY."

Some students were leaving, others were going in, the building was huge. Liv looked at Fitz. "Did you play any sports?"

"Oh yeah, four years of baseball. I played shortstop and pitcher." He gave a small smile. "The field is behind the school." He just shook his head.

"It was the right decision, Fitz, don't knock yourself for it."

"I know, Livvie, it's just had I known…." He drifted off.

"You would do it all over again, I'm sure of it." Liv finished for him.

He interlocked his hand with hers. "You know, sadly enough, you're right." He brought her hand up to kiss it. "But some of my best memories were made inside that building."

"Oh yeah? Were you part of any clubs? You know aside from being the leader of the Fitz T?"

He immediately blushed. "Aww, Livvie, don't go there. I already told you."

"That I'm the only member now, right."

"Right." He leaned over and kissed her lips. "Thank your for letting me detour here."

"Of course. I want to know all about teenage Fitz, even little Fitz." She rubbed his curls as he took one more look at the building and pulled away.

"I can't wait to come back one day and show our little one all around. It's such a different lifestyle out here."

Liv watched as the beach came into view and they were traveling parallel to it. She looked out into the ocean. Had they been in Rutland she would be looking out to the mountains. "It sure is." She said. "It's breath taking both here and in Rutland."

"Ahh, New York is breath taking also. You're gobbled by all those big building and swallowed up by everyone walking towards you or with you. We both have our share of beauty where we live or lived."

Liv's eyebrows crossed when they pulled into the ranch house. "Looks like Sparks is here." She looked at the time. "They weren't due in for another two hours." She shrugged.

"Go on in, I'll get the bags." Fitz went towards the trunk.

Gerry and Lucia were on the couch, Daisy now with her head poked up to see who came in the door this time. They were just chatting to one another as Liv looked around. "Is that Sparks's car outside?"

"Sure is, he's giving a tour. He knows this place better than me the amount of time they spent here with Fitz." He watched as Fitz entered and got up to help with the bags.

"Had we known, Dad, we would have been sooner. I bumped into Mrs. Jamieson at the store and then I showed Liv the high school."

Gerry waved his hand in the air. "Nonsense, it's fine, your friends are more than welcome here."

Liv turned towards the sounds of giggles and talking. She looked over at Fitz with curious eyes and before she could speak, she heard her little friend.

"WIVVIE!" Chloe hugged her waist so tight and Liv picked her up. "I missed you so so much" She gave Liv a hug resting her head on her shoulder. "How are you?"

"I am so so good, Butterfly, how are you? We were just talking about face timing you tomorrow. I was telling Fitz how much I missed you. This is the best surprise ever."

Fitz was a bit worried that Liv was holding Chloe. Everything Liv did worried him, especially this early in the pregnancy. "Hey Sweet Pea, why don't you hop over here?" Fitz held out his arms.

Chloe jumped into his arms and rubbed her nose with his. "Hi Fitz, we miss you in Wutland, Sophie misses you so so much."

"Oh, yeah, well instead of face timing you tomorrow, maybe we'll call Sophie together, how does that sound?"

The boys followed behind Chloe shaking Fitz's hand and Letecia gave Olivia a hug. She pulled at Liv's ring finger. "This is great, I am so happy for the two of you." She looked at Liv. "You're glowing."

"Thank you Letecia. This trip has been special to say the least. I'm learning so much about Fitz, the early years."

"Sounds like a drama made for a movie." Letecia laughed giving Fitz a hug. "Good to see you. You look rested."

"I am, looking forward to spending time with you and this one." He gave Chloe a bounce. "This is a great surprise. Did you meet Lucia?"

"Your mom?" Chloe said.

"My mom? Well, my stepmom."

"Yep, your mom, because Gewwy mawwied her and now she's your mom. Stepmom's can be mean, just ask Cinderewwa. Not Lucia, she's Gawinda."

Lucia laughed, as did Gerry. "Told you she was something else."

After dinner, the kids were having a blast making use of the indoor pool. Liv and Letecia were watching them, giving Gerry and Lucia time to talk to Fitz and Sparks for a while.

"You alright Liv? Things have been moving pretty fast huh? I was surprised I didn't see you for opening weekend in Vermont."

Liv took a deep breath. "Fitz and I had a bit of a falling out. I know I should have been there for him, but I was just emotionally and physically exhausted. It was rough being apart, but it did make us realize how much we truly love one another."

"Must have been something concerning to be apart so long on purpose. How are you feeling now? I mean emotionally things ok, I know you have been through a lot."

Liv put her hand on her stomach smiling. "Yeah, I'm good. Turns out the exhaustion was from pregnancy. I'm still very early along, just barely eight weeks. I took a trip to the dr. thinking the tiredness may have been hormonal, and well, pregnancy."

"Girl, that is wonderful, oh my God, Fitz must be over the moon. Congratulations."

"Thank you. He is, a bit afraid, 1000% overprotective too. He won't even let me wash a dish. I'm surprised he let me push the cart in the store today."

"You are both going to be amazing parents." They both jumped as they were sprayed with water from the kids in the pool.

"Gotcha" the three of them laughed and then swam away.

"Lord knows you've had enough practice the past few months." They both laughed wiping away the water from their faces.

"Only Lara and Bryce know in Rutland. We haven't gone public yet, and of course Gerry. It's one of the reasons Fitz came out here early, then Gerry sprung the news on us that he was taking off and getting married."

"Grant men are so unpredictable huh? I remember when Fitz called Sparks and said let's buy a baseball team." Letecia laughed at the memory. "I'll have to admit it's fun traveling but with the little ones it gets tiring."

"Yeah, I'm sure. I'm looking forward playing the owner's wife tomorrow. Is it hard?"

"Just the opposite, let the boys be boys and enjoy the luxury. Although I think you'll be more into the game than I'm giving you credit for."

"Wivvie."

Chloe's voice got her attention. "Can I get out now pwease?"

Liv wrapped the towel around her little body, as the boys followed. Letecia leaned over. "Think we tired them out, they'll sleep well. See you in the morning."

Chloe was in a smaller bed that Fitz had moved into their room for the week. She was out cold, the time change, the swimming, it just all had her exhausted.

Liv was lying in Fitz's arms as he sent a few texts, and placed the phone down. He gave her a kiss on the forehead. He looked over at Chloe. "That was a nice surprise. I just finished texting Bryce that she was sleeping."

"Yeah, I missed her. I told Letecia about the pregnancy, did you let Sparks know?"

"I did. I told him Sam didn't know yet. He's beyond happy for us. You've been feeling ok?"

Liv shrugged. "All good. A bit nauseous here and there, but nothing too concerning." She put her head on his chest giving it a kiss first. "I'll be happy when we have our next ultrasound."

She looked up at him. He was already sleeping. She wondered how much sleep he was getting. She just had a gut feeling he was so worried about her and the pregnancy. She rubbed his cheek. "Will I ever get you to stop worrying?" She whispered.

As soon as she put her head back down on his chest, she was asleep also.

"Beach day!" Chloe was so excited. It was 8 in the morning, and she was already in her bathing suit. "Fitz, it's beach day."

Fitz opened his eyes, the sunlight gleaming into the room. Olivia was still sleeping, blankets up to her shoulders. "Shh, ok Chloe, let me get ready, I don't want to wake Olivia."

"Gewwy is taking me, you can wait until Wivvie wakes up." Fitz slipped out of bed and walked Chloe out to the living room.

Sure enough Gerry and Lucia were there with the two boys, just waiting on Chloe. "The boys are waiting little Miss Chloe."

Chloe shrugged. "It takes time for a pwincess to get beach weady."

They all laughed. "Dad, you sure you're up to this?"

"You spend some time with your friends. We won't be far, just outside the door. Do they need a card or anything?" Lucia laughed out loud.

"Ha, ha. And you." He looked at Lucia. "He doesn't need any encouragement."

With sand buckets, shovels, and rakes, the five of them headed out. Fitz watched his father as he walked out holding Chloe's hand and Lucia had the two boys. "Grandparents." He shook his head.

"Never thought your dad would be a grandpa, which means I never thought you would be a father. I still can't believe it Fitz. After all these years, I thought you would never open your heart, especially since what Natalie did."

"Ah, I'm glad she did it." He handed Sparks a cup of coffee. "Best thing she did. I have my Livvie now. I went up flying the other day, Sparks, man what a rush."

"No shit. Over at Pete's?"

"Yeah, his father is retired. Was up about an hour with Liv, like I never left the cockpit. It just felt like home, like I belonged there."

"You were one of the best, probably still are the best. We should take a fly this week. I'll be happy to go with you. Your skills amazed me, always have."

Liv walked out in her robe, yawning. "Where are the kids?"

Fitz looked towards the window. "Dad and Lucia took them out to the beach." He saw Chloe pull the bucket off the sand, making a small castle and DJ ran over and stepped on it. Chloe's eyes crossed in anger, and she chased him to the water, where she so purposely through a bucket of water at him. Fitz laughed as Gerry walked over to calm the tension. "He looks busy out there."

"What about you Liv?" Sparks looked at her. "You going to put on your bikini while your stomach is still flat enough and get out on that beach?"

Liv's head tilted a bit uncomfortable, but how would Sparks know. "Yeah, Livvie." Fitz chimed in. "Let's join them out there, looks like Dad could use some…" Fitz stopped realizing.

"Did I say something wrong?" Sparks was just looking at the two of them.

"Putting your foot in your mouth again?" Letecia had just come into the kitchen showered and covered with a bathing suit cover. "Ready for the beach?"

Liv glanced at Fitz. Fitz just looked back tight lipped. He didn't want her to feel embarrassed, he was sure their friends would embrace Liv, no matter what, the way they embraced him, but there was also his father. Liv told them, but seeing the scars, he didn't want to push her.

"There's something you two need to know." Liv began. After telling them the story of the accident, Sparks took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry, Liv, I didn't mean anything by the bikini comment."

"No, don't be silly, but you know what, I will put on the bikini. The only thing I ask, prepare the boys for it, ok. Chloe knows because of everything that happened with Officer Kelly, I don't want to frighten them."

Fitz walked over to Liv as Letecia and Sparks made their way out to the beach. "You sure you're ok with this."

"You flew a plane, not once, but twice. You overcame your fears, you exposed your scars to the country. I can do this." She nodded. "I'm fine."

Fitz followed her to the room to be with her getting ready. "A few moments of alone time." He walked behind her.

Fitz grabbed the bikini top before she could. He pulled her robe off, exposing her naked body under. He just stepped back looking at her. "What?" Her eyes were squinting at him. "Stop, you're staring."

"At how damn beautiful you are. I can never get enough of looking at you." He walked over like he was going to put the top one, but wrapped his arms around her and gently got her on the bed, kissing her lips as they went down.

Liv wouldn't admit, but her anxiety left her the moment her body hit that bed and she was resting her hands on his shoulder. "Fitz." She got out between a kiss. "They're waiting."

"I know." He went down to her neck, and kissed his way to her breast. "Let them wait. You taste so good." His mouth overtook her breast and Liv's head went to the side, feeling chills up her body. This was the relaxation she needed.

He kissed her stomach, and picked his head up looking at it. "Hi my little one in there, daddy loves you so much."

Liv smiled looking down at him, and his hand crept to her fold, gently rubbing around her wet clit.

"I know you're nervous Livvie, don't be, ok." His head was above hers now, his fingers working wonders, and her eyes were closed.

"I love you so much, baby." His soft, deep voice vibrating her body. His lips went down on hers and she stiffened, with her hand grasping his as he continued to massage her clit. She moaned into his mouth and she took a deep breath, opening her eyes and smiling.

"Better?"

She nodded, "better."

He helped her sit up and put her bikini top on as she went to get the bottom part, Fitz went to clean up. When he came out she was in her bikini fully, no coverup and her bottoms were down enough to expose the scars. "You look so good, let's go." He interlocked his hand with hers and her head rested on his shoulder as they walked outside.

"And you said it was a car accident?" Gerry was asking Fitz, watching Liv play in the water with the kids.

"Yeah, killed her father, a glass vase shattered all over her mid section, she had multiple surgeries. But she's learning her scars don't define her." Fitz smiled at her, waving.

"The two of you were meant to be."

"Acuerdo" Lucia said. "It's fate. That bruja Natalie has nothing on Olivia. "Vagabundo that she is." She nodded her head in Liv's direction. "Ella es tan bella. Gorgeous Fitz. You're going to have beautiful babies." Lucia got up and headed towards the water.

"I take it Lucia didn't care for Natalie too much." Fitz laughed.

"Not in the least."

"What, no Yankees jersey?" Fitz asked Liv as she came out in a white sundress.

"No, I'll spare you the explaining. I figured this was casual enough, no?"

"You look perfect." Fitz looked down at himself. "What about me?"

He was in a black collared shirt with Lake Monsters logo in the right hand corner. He was wearing khaki pants that hugged his ass in just the right fit. Liv walked over to him and grabbed his ass, as she kissed him.

"Just perfect." She rubbed his firm butt cheeks.

"Mmm," as they heard an knock and Chloe walked in. She was in a Rutland Vermont t shirt and blue jeans. She had on a Lake Monsters hat with her ponytail pulled through.

"No Yankees Chloe? I thought being a bleacher creature would change you."

"In the Bwonx I'm a bweacher cweature, but I have to cheer for my hometown." She jumped into Fitz's arms. "You going to fwy the pwane tonight?"

"No, not tonight. We are taking the Lake Monster's plane. We'll be there in two hours. Want to go to the locker room and meet the players?"

"Oh yes. I'm going to tell DJ and Owen." She ran out before Fitz could stop her.

"It's nothing new for them, they're always with the players, Fitz laughed.

At the ball park, Sparks and Letecia took the boys to the Giants owner's box while Fitz took the family to meet the players in the locker room. As soon as the door opened, Chloe ran to Jordan Lewis. "Hi Jordan."

Liv walked over, took a picture of the two of them to send to Lara and Bryce. "Two of Rutland's finest." Liv smiled.

"I like your shirt Chloe." Jordan said.

"I wike yours too." She pointed to his Lake Monster uniform. "You win tonight ok."

He laughed. Liv looked around. She knew every face in that room and their batting averages. She also knew every clause in each one of their contracts. It was reading material when Fitz was up late watching the game.

She went over to Keith Michaels. "Hello Mr. Michaels, how is Samiya doing? How is her business?'

"You remembered?" He was happy. "Yeah, she's good, it's all going good. She's going to try to get up to Vermont our next home stand she would love to see you."

"Likewise, I'll be sure to have her in the owner's box. Give her my best." Liv looked around the room.

Gerry was talking to Jason Kemp the centerfielder, with his arm around Lucia. Fitz was holding Chloe in his arms as he spoke to the manager and pitching coach. Liv walked over to him. "I'm going to head to the box, take your time, ok."

He looked concerned. "Livvie, you alright?"

"Fine Fitz, honestly, I just want to get some water and rest before we entertain the guests." Liv walked away, heading towards the luxury boxes.

Sparks joined Fitz in the locker room. He nodded for Fitz to come over. Chloe went around with a Lake Monsters's poster having the team members sign it for her to hang in her room.

"What's up, you look troubled."

"I was just up talking to Davis Tooney, the Giants's owner. They want to sign Trent."

Fitz looked at the ceiling took a deep breath to relax. "We'll have to pay his salary."

"I know. Look, I can tell him a lie, tell him we're…"

"No." Fitz stopped. He thought for a moment. Closing his eyes he didn't even think of the punch Trent gave him, he thought of the words he spoke of Olivia, of him touching her at the New Year's gala. "Tell Tooney we'll have a meeting…"

"Too late, Trent is here. He wants the meeting tonight."

"Fuck if I'll meet his demands. The meeting will be on Sunday, after the last game against the Lake Monsters."

Sparks was on the phone before Fitz finished and gave Tooney the ultimatum.

Once Trent hung up the phone with Tooney, after Tooney had spoken to him, the crowd of people became a blur. He wanted in, he wanted to suit up and be in the dugout with teammates. "This fucking Fitz Grant." He was handed a paper by one of the bus boys. Trent was on the level with the suites, looking for one of his buddy's that was part owner with Tooney.

Looking down at the paper, he crumpled it after reading it. "Seventh Inning to be dedicated to the POW Fitzgerald Grant the Third, honoring his service. Fitzgerald, owner of the Lake Monsters is at tonight's game. Brief ceremony on field during the bottom of the 7th."

Trent tossed the crumpled paper towards the garbage missing it completely, but seeing someone reading the same paper he just read.

Olivia, before walking about 500 more feet to the Fitz's suite was given the paper. She read it with concern, wondering how Fitz would take to this news. She had walked a far way already, was a bit tired because she got lost finding the level. Knowing Letecia was in the suite with the boys, she was about to head over.

"Going somewhere, beautiful?" Trent put his arm out to stop her from moving up against the wall Liv was leaning on to read the announcement.

Liv looked up, saw him, and her face flushed. People were walking by, but no one familiar and Liv didn't want to make too much of a scene on account of Fitz.

"If you'll excuse me." She tried to walk around him but he moved with her.

Trent leaned over to her ear. "That boyfriend of yours is making my life hell. I can do the same for him, you know. No one cares right now what's going on around them, what can I do to you, huh? Nice dress by the way."

Olivia pushed his arm off the wall, and he stopped her with his hand on her shoulder. "Easy there tiger, don't cause something that will ruin Fitz's ceremony."

Out of nowhere, Liv heard a voice, and she took a sigh of relief that suddenly changed to worry.

"You're going to want to take your filthy fucking hand off my fiancé."

Trent had no idea Fitz had walked up behind him, now Trent just stared wide eyed at Liv, as she smirked a bit. "Now what are you going to do?" Liv had to be careful she didn't just ask the wrong question, there was no telling what was going to happen.
