2 Months after God informed Amaterasu
Location:Ginza, Japan.
It's 11:15 AM in Japan. It was the warmest seasonin thisyear. A high humidity, coupled with temperatures over30C; it was hellish. However, it was a Saturday, and many people still crowded the shopping mall to shop or to just stroll around. When the sun was high up in the sky, a large gate had appeared and opened in the middle of theGinzadistrict in Tokyo. From it emerged a horde of horsemen and footmen donned with armor reminiscent of Medieval Europe. They were accompanied by the sort of monsters one would usually find in fantasy novels; orcs, dragons, goblins and even giants.
They assaulted everyone who happened to be there. Disregarding age and nationality, their objective was to massacre anyone they could find. As Japan had been at peace for a long time, people did not know how to defend themselves and could only scream in terror in the face of the attack. The polices were deployed once they heard about the attacks, but the invaders had spread throughout the city, and the JSDF hasn't arrived yet. The civilians were taken refuges in the various locations like the Imperial Palace (Not the Saderan).
Meanwhile in Takamagahara
Outside Amaterasu's Palace,There were a lot of Japanese deities within the area. All except Amaterasu's brother,and the rest of Lunarians. were preparing to defend the humans from the attack under Amaterasu's order. They had been overlooked the situation through a large circular window covered in solar fire around it. It was a window todisplayed a live footage of what's happening on earth made by Amaterasu's power. She felt a rage within her and wants to pay for the invaders' actions. Without any further delay, she gazed at the rest of the Japanese deities as she raised her right hand forward and giving them her order.
Amaterasu: I want all of you to form into three groups, and each group will consist of 2 deities. You all will go to the east, west, and north part of the city. Save many people as you can until the JSDF and their allied arrived. Try your best to keep on low profile. You are free to use lethal force if necessary!
All Japanese deities: Hai, Amaterasu-sama!
And so, they began to form the groups. Each group will have their own captain. Once they were done, they began to glow and vanished from sight. In the solar window footage, they had been teleported into a different parts of the city where there are no humans would spotted them. Their mission, is to keep the invaders away from the civilians while trying to not be seen.
Amaterasu: Inari-san, have you sent my request of aid to other pantheons about our current situation?
Inari: Yes, I have, Amaterasu-sama. The Chinese and Korean pantheons have responded to aid us and will be arriving shortly. More pantheons will be coming soon.
Inari, the Goddess of Foxes, Agriculture, and Rice were standing beside the sun goddess as she gave her info. She has a long white hair with two fox ears above her head and nine fluffy white fox tails behind her upper butt. She's a kemonomimi, obviously. She wore a white kimono with red lines. This uniform consists of short knee-lenght red skirt with white line,a sleeveless white top with a red collar, and a pair of white detached sleeves.
Amaterasu: And the Gensokyan? Did you tell Yukari about this?
Inari: No, but I did tell her shikigami, Yakumo Ran. I'm sure they'd handle their situation like ours.
Amaterasu: Good, at least we know they'd be ok.
Inari: ... Amaterasu-sama, why are we interfering with the mortal realm? Why now?
Amaterasu went silent for a brief moment. She made a good question.
Amaterasu: ... You've heard when I told you that Kami-sama informed me about the attack from another world... There are two reasons. One, I want to make that insolent goddess pay for what she has done. Second, because He trusted me.
Inari: He trusted you?
Amaterasu: Look, I don't know what His plan is, but whatever it is, He allowed me to call for backup.
Inari: We literally could defeat other world's military without any help from the others. You just wanted more fun, didnt you?
Inari crossed her arms while looking at her empress with a judgement stare.
Amaterasu: ... I don't know what you're talking about... And besides, the more the merrier.
Inari: ... Whatever you say, your highness.
She knows her empress too well after working under her leadership for millennia. Amaterasu did want to make the other world's goddess be humiliated by gathering all pantheons on Earth. But what she didn't understand was how God placed His trust in Amaterasu and gave her permission to call other was confusing for Inari to think about it. She mentally let it slide her thought since this is God's unknown plan for the ongoing event.
Meanwhile, on the west side of the city in the human world, the first group of two deities were fighting the invader's humanoid army who were trying to slaughter a mother and a child. The two deities were Fujin, the God of Wind, and Raijin, the God of Lightning and Thunder. Those two deities are brothers. Fujin used his wind power to send the invaders flying into the air for them to drop. While Raijin used his power to kill the invaders with his speed. He snached one of the inavder's sword and used it to cut their throats, making them dying in painful death. For humans or any normal mortal beings, theycouldn't catch his speed, they only saw a line of spark electricty. Once Raijin were done, he meet with his brother on one of the buildings.
Raijin: That was cheap trick, Fujin.
He tried to light punch Fujin, but he slapped his hand away.
Fujin: And you were too flashy.
Raijin: Hehehe.
Fujin: Come on, we still have to buy them some time.
The two then flew away from the building and moving to the next battlefield area.
On the East side of the city, second group was Susanoo, the God of Storm and the youngest brother of Amaterasu, and Kushinadahime, the Goddess of love and rice. Same as Raijin, Susanoo moved at the speed of lightning. He brought his Katana to his side and sliced the invaders without giving them time to react. Kushinadahime was also helping as she helped the tourists to find a safer place. Luckily for her, they didn't notice her as a goddess and thinking she's a cosplayer.
She managed to help them hide in one of the stores. But she was done keeping them safe, a dragon rider dives down and their dragon opened its mouth to fire breath her. She took a defensive position and four balls of energy started to form around her. Before she could fire, a spark of electricity swoops in and the dragon and its rider were immediately cut in half. She unsummoned her energy balls and shook her head with a smile.
Kushinadahime: Oh you~
On the North side of the city, the third group was Ame-no-Uzume, the Goddess of Dawn, and Hachiman, the God of War. They were lucky that in the north, they were no civilians, only the invaders. They don't mind revealing themselves to the invaders. The invaders have surrounded them, which was an idiotic move of them.
Uzume: Hachiman-san, I'll be willing to bet that I can take down 78 of them.
She said as she unfolded her fan in one swift motion. It's not just a normal fan, but a razor sharp fan on the edge.
Hachiman: My dear art goddess... I can take down 100 of them with my bare hands.
She chuckled for moment before the invaders charged at them.
Meanwhile, in Gensokyo...
?1: Master Spark!
?2: Divine Spear "Spear the Gungnir"!
A large yellow beam and red spear were sent to the invaders below. It caused an explosion and disintegrated them. It was Kirisame Marisa and Remilia Scarlet who sent their attacks. Every girl within around Youkai Mountain have launched their spell attack at every direction. The majority of the invaders were either turned into ashes or get eaten by some youkais. Unlike the Outside World, they didn't have large building to destroy since it could cause even more damage to the environment.
Back in the city with the third group, they have killed all of the land invaders, but not the air one. Two dragons and its riders soaring through the sky as they look for the opportunity to make a plan. They couldn't believe only two individuals were able to defeat them without breaking a sweat. As they fly, one of them suddenly got hit by something, causing him and his dragon to fall to the ground. His wingman were surprised. He managed to see what object hit his comrade. It was a pole. Before he could process, he and his dragon were split in half in perfect cut.
On the ground, Uzume and Hachiman noticed two dragon riders have fallen and crashed on the nearby street. But one of the corpse had a pole embedded through his body. They recognized the pole. Two figures comes down from the sky, one with flying cloud, and one with nothing. They landed next to the dead riders as one of them retrieved his pole.
Uzume: Hanunim-sama, Son Goku-san, you were a little bit there.
In front are Hanunim, the God of sky and the leader of Korean Pantheon, and Sun Wukong, the Great Sage, Heaven's Equal. The reason why Uzume called him Son Goku was because it's a Japanese pronunciation.
Wukong: Hehehe, sorry, I had to beat my rival first before I got here.
Hanunim: And I had to managed some paperworks and I was the only available while the others were busy. So I had to do it myself. I see that you two have handled the situation very well.
Hachiman: You could say that.
As they were having some peaceful moment, a lone newcomer invader have just arrived with a hostage. He didn't see how the battle was, but he clearly see the outcome. He held a local Japanese woman in her mid-20s with his sword. The sage and gods hightened their awareness as they were having a Mexican standoff. The Roman-like soldier started to speak his foreign language. The woman didn't understand what he said, but not for the gods and sage.
Unknown medieval soldier: Stay back! or this woman gets it.
His sword were on her neck. She couldn't focus what is in front of her because of her being the hostage. She began to think about her family. Dying alone without seeing them again was the worst for her. her eyes began to tear up and afraid. Afraid that this is her final moment... Until a miracle happened. The soldier who were holding her fell unconscious, letting her go as she fell to her knees, crying while she lowered her head and covered her face. The gods and sage looked at the one who did it. Behind the woman and unconscious soldier was a glowing male figure with two white majestic wings. He wore like any normal civilian during autumn. He had knivehand strike the soldier by the back of his neck.
Wukong: Who is that?
Uzume: ... It's one of Kami-sama's guardian and messengers.
The glow dimmed down once they walked towards the angel as he comforts the woman. She kept crying until she heard a footsteps coming. She felt that they are right in front of her.
Uzume: Miss, are you okay?
She sniffled and decided to looked up. Once she did that, her eyes widened. She is looking three seemingly normal humans, one humanoid monkey, and one man with two wings behind his back. She could feel an overwhelming from them.
Woman: Y-Y-You're...
Still afraid, the angel holds her hand, making sure she feel less afraid. She looked at him and felt calmness washed over after she met his gaze.
Angel (?): Be not afraid, for you are now safe. I am Gabriel, Lord's messenger.
She gasped. She looked at the rest they too introduce themselves.
Uzume: Ame-no-Uzume, Goddess of Dawn.
Hachiman: Hachiman, God of War.
Hanunim: Hanunim, God of Sky.
Wukong: Sun Wukong or Son Goku, The Great Sage.
Five divine beings right in front of her own very eyes.
Woman: You're real... All of you are real!
She screamed, disbelief that they are real. She burst into cry again. Her cry wasn't because of fear, but overjoyed. She repeatedly saying thank you for saving her. Gabriel wrapped his arm on the woman as she cried. He then looked at the gods and sage as his wings vanished, disguising himself to be more human.
Gabriel: Go, the JSDF and their allied will be coming in 5 minutes.
Uzume: What about you?
Gabriel looked at the crying woman before returning to Uzume's gaze.
Gabriel: I will accompanied this child until we arrived at one of the shelters. The other angels will also inform your groups.
There was a moment of paused until she nod her head, followed by the others. The Japanese deities began to glow as they vanished from sight. Hanunim opened a portal to Takamagahara and flew through it, followed by Wukong after he hop onto his cloud. It closed once they went through. Gabriel helped the woman to stand up and accompanied her until they reach to their destination. Just like the messenger said, the exact 5 minutes later, the JSDF and US have arrived to take care of the remaining problem.
In the aftermath, casualties were estimated to be 121 dead on Japan's side, while the invaders were roughly 80.000 dead out of 100.000 invaders. And the Prisoner of War was over 16.000 people and non-humans. Meanwhile in Gensokyo, there were no civilian casualities other than the invaders. The other world's had sent a small army which was roughly 3.000 people and non-humans. The casualities were about 2.049 dead, and 951 Prisoner of War. On that day, it has become "The Ginza Incident" and "Youkai Mountain Incident."
The incident has made the UN to gather all nations about the potential global threat if they ignore it. Only 20 countries have voted to not get involved, while 175 of them agreed to handle the situation and help Japan. In heavenly realm of Takamagahara, Amaterasu received multiple answers from other gods and goddesses that they will help to make whoever opened the Gate pay. Inari visited Ran again to tell the news. Her message was don't go beyond the Gate until further notice.
Three months later, the time has finally. In Ginza where the Gate has appeared, there were multiple military armies lining up to enter the Gate. In Takamagahara, it's the same as on Earth, but there were a lot of gods and goddesses within that realm, including their servants, even those from Gensokyo... Except for Amaterasu's moon brother and his Lunarians. There was also Amaterasu's dimensional window she previously used during the invasion. The window float besides the Torii Gate behind her. Why is there a Torii Gate? Within those three months ago, Amaterasu got a permission from God to make their own version of Gate. She got help from Him for making that Torii Gate. Inari are absent right because she's currently in Gensokyo to give them a signal. She also asked for help from Yukari to make a live footage out of her gap power.
Yukari agreed and asked what she needs to do. Inari just told her that she only needs to grab her shoulder. Yukari did what she was told as she grabbed Inari's shoulder. She asked again to open two gaps in the air. Two large gaps opened in the sky as it displayed a live footage screen for the Gensokyan see. Gap 1 showed the scene of military commanders preparing their speech, while Gap 2 showed Amaterasu with other deities and the Torii Gate. Besides Amaterasu, was God the Son, Jesus.
On Earth, every respective commander finally gave their speeches to their soldiers. In Takamagahara, Amaterasu also began to make a speech. He is there to give information about the world they are facing.
Amaterasu: My fellow Gods and Goddesses, I thank you for coming to help us. As you may know, some asshole goddess from another world has opened her Gate to my nation and killed some of my people and yours. My friend here will brief you about the invader's world.
She looked at Jesus as He nodded at her before giving the info.
Jesus: The invader's world are called Falmart. That world similar to ours, but medieval, early medieval. The majority of the land is controlled by the Saderan Empire. Falmart is inhabited by a number of sentient sapient humanoid races. Much like our own, Humans, Goblins, Dragons, and many more. But unlike ours, they didn't choose to hide themselves. You would know this if you have read isekai shows and comics.
One of the deities from Korean, Jacheongbi, the Goddess of Agriculture, raised her hand for a question. But, Jesus knew the question as he calmly said...
Jesus: Yes, Jacheongbi. I know most of you went to the human world to buy their merchandises.
Jacheongbi: ...
She lowered her hand and looked away. Most of the pantheons who visited Earth were trying to look busy and some were whistling. He didn't mind though.
Jesus: As I was saying, Falmart only has 12 Gods. Emroy, God of Darkness, War, Death, Violence, and Insanity. Elange and Ral, Goddesses of Knowledge and Learning. Duncan, God of Blacksmith. Miritta, Goddess of Fertility. Flare, God of Sun. Palapon, God of Revenge. Zufmuut, God of Light and Order. Deldort, God of Covenants. Lunaryur, God of Music. And finally, the culprit who is behind all of this, Hardy, God of Underworld.
Amaterasu's eyes twitched a little when she heard the name of the culprit. The other Earth's deities muttered and whispering to each other. They stopped as one of the deities from Norse, Odin, raised his hand.
Odin: There are no time deities?
Jesus: No.
Sisters of Faith: No fate deities?
Jesus: For now, there aren't.
Ra: How powerful are they?
Jesus: I'll only tell you that the underworld goddess can't even fully control her own Gate. None of them did.
They went silent as if they were surprised after they heard none of the Falmart's Gods couldn't fully control their own doing. Brahma clapped his hand and placed his each index finger onto his nose bridge and sighed.
Brahma: ... Tell us more.
Jesus: They are unable to take physical bodies like us. Unless, they choose to take the bodies of their followers, but they would ultimately destroy most of their followers' minds who cannot cope with their gods' powers. Each of them have their own single apostles. Their apostles can ascends to godhood after a period of service, which would usually last for about a thousand years, and take on a role in the pantheon of Falmart.
The Falmart's Gods are also very tyrannical to their mortals since that they are responsible for the stagnation of not only science and technology but also magic in Falmart as they realized that mortals can outclass them with their scientific and magical research about how the world and nature works. As the result, they will try everything to prevent mortals in the Special Region from developing further in their knowledge and understanding science as well as magic through death threats, or inciting worshipers to lynch researchers who have the potential to discover revolutionary things that will improve the daily lives of people in that world. And as I mentioned earlier, they can't control their Gate, while we can. Amaterasu and I built this Torii gate, and My Father let her choose her design.
After Jesus have explained how their world works, all of them burst into laugh, including the Gensokyans who were watching the scene (Except God the Son). They learned something amusing about Falmart's Gods. They are weak and scared of their own humans to advance. Amaterasu were also laughing. Her anger against them were immediately washed away... Until she remembered their people had invaded her nation and killed her humans, no matter they were from other countries or faiths, they still killed them. She stopped her laugh and punched herself right to the face. Her anger went to her again after what they had done.
Amaterasu: Enough!
She yelled to all of them. Her voice echoed through Takamagahara, and soon they went silent.
Amaterasu: Forget about them being weak. Remember they have killed our humans! If we let it slide, they might open another Gate just like in Gensokyo. can you imagine what would happen if we don't teach them a lesson? I know we have our differences back in ancient times, but we've changed. We don't used sacrifice anymore, we don't kill our people anymore, and we don't fight each other over who is the strongest anymore...
She lowered her head. Tears began to form from her eyes as she sniffled a little. She remebered her pantheon and others had the same ideology as Falmart. She wiped her tears as he gazed back at them.
Amaterasu: ... Were we so different from them?... We were always like that... Until some Kami had come down as a human.
She looked at Jesus, with Him having His calm face before returning to the rest of Earth's Gods.
Amaterasu: ... Some of us didn't learned about free will back then. We didn't even bother to learn what humans do... Over the course of years of advancement, we've seen that humans are more than meets the eyes. We've seen them do wonderful stuff and learned something from them. I know some of them are bad and I know we had our multiple chances to end them... But did we?... Our humans are fragile being. They need us as much as we need them. We wouldn't come into existence if Kami-sama didn't created them... I always asking myself why did we exist and why did Kami-sama let us exist?... I was so close finding that asnwer... But maybe someday I will know... But our current questions remained, do you want our people to be enslaved again by those barbarians? Do you want to reenact those laws again?
No one answered. Of course, it would be embarassing for her to have that kind reaction. Having a speech of one pantheon was one thing, but multiple of them? She felt like she could've died from embarassment. It was, until the leader of one of the pantheon spoke. It was the Korean Sky God.
Hanunim: After a short mental descision, the Korean deities will help you.
Another one began to spoke. It was the Chinese primordial deity, Jade Emperor.
Jade Emperor: Our pantheon will too aid your cause. Wukong?
He looked at Wukong with a side glare. The Monkey king laughed but agreed on helping her to teach Falmart as lesson. More and more deities agreed on teaching them a lesson that they shouldn't mess with Earth and its Gods as they cheers, echoing throughout Takamagahara. She was relieved that all of them, minus her brother, has joined to aid her. She looked at Jesus with smile. He returned a smile and gave her a thumbs up.
They soon looked at Amaterasu's dimensional screen window when they heard Earth's military shouted their battle cry as they prepared to enter the Gate.
Jesus: Amaterasu, it is time.
Amaterasu: Hai, Kami-sama.
She raised her hands in the air as she consentrated. The Torii Gate entrance made burst of light as the other side has come into view. The other side was a desert and it was night.
Jesus: I've already created a barrier surrounding the desert and the forest. Those two barriers are perfectly undetected by Falmartian Gods' senses, and completely invisble to everyone outside. I did not forget about your allied in Gensokyo.
Amaterasu:*Smile*Thank you.
Meanwhile, In Gensokyo...
Inari: You've heard the lady, we're moving in!
The girls were excited to go to the other side of the gate. And so, three Earth's sides began to march in through the gate. Once they were out, three sides were in a different location. The humans are in Alnus, The Earth's Deities are in Western Desert, and the youkai and supernatural beings are in Forest of High Elves. Unfortunately for the humans, they were up against the firstwaveof Empire's troop... But the Gods and supernatural beings knew they could handle themselves. Why? Because they have guns, and technologies.
