Major Higaki: W-who told you that you could bring them here!?
The major yelled as he slammed his hands onto the table which startled Itami. The major then covered his face in a lot of stress. This was all started when Itami and his team brought back the refugees to the base without giving a direct order... Well, some refugees were actually voluntarily want to come with the men in green because they felt safe around , they went on a separate path. The JSDF, US Armed Forces, and ROK didn't have a choice but to take them in. Once they did that, they got scolded by their respective higher-ups.
Itami: Huh? Was it a bad idea?
Major Higaki: Of course it was.
Itami: What should we do?
The major slammed his hands again and yelled...
Major Higaki: That's what I want to know!
He groaned and grabbed his head as if there's no hope for him.
Major Higaki: I'll go report it...
Somewhere in the room
Yanagida: Lieutenant General, the reports from the recon platoons we dispatched have come in.
Hazama: Oh, is it? Did we learn something?
Yanagida: The language is giving us trouble, but we've essentially made peaceful first contact.
He gave the document to Lieutenant General Hazama.
Yanagida: Most of them appear to be humans, and practice agriculture and forestry. There's more about their manufacturing and trade goods in the documents. Every village seems to have a village elder, but we have no detailed information about their political structure.
Yanagida took a deep breath and sighed as if it was too much work.
Yanagida: I hope we can invite a number of them here.
Hazama: That's a bad idea, given the problems to communicating with them. We don't want them to turn around and say we kidnapped them or forced them to come here.
Yanagida: There's also another thing. When our recon team and the other foreign teams fought the dragon, Something strange happened.
Hazama looked in curiousity about the strange part.
Hazama: Strange how?
Yanagida: ...*Inhale*...*Exhale*... Another dragon had appeared, General. And it was huge, bigger than the one we fought.
Hazama's eyes went wide at the surprising concluded his briefing by placing several pictures of the dragon and other went through the materials as if he were reading a table of figures... What he saw was something beyond what he had believe. In those pictures, he saw a giant long serpent-like dragon, and a white-haired girl. The picture was taken by one of the soldiers in ROK recon team.
Yanagida:As you can see, that girl was floating in theair. No matter how you look at her, the clothes that she was wearing are more alike Japanese. She can even shoot what seems to be a fire projectile.
Hazama placed the pictures back on his desk as he began to think. A beautiful Japanese girl, were able to fly and shot a devastating projectile was weird to him. And the dragon, he had seen it before, but couldn't remember it.
Hazama: Do you think it was a coincidence?
Yanagida: As far as i know, I don't know.
Hazama: Anything else?
Yanagida: There were no casualities during the attack, which seemed impossible. The serpent dragon and the girl had vanished right after the attack was over.
For a moment of silence, he slowly nodded. He ordered Yanagida to take care of the current situation and will discussed about the new dragon and mysterous girl later.

Back at Major Higaki's Office
Major Higaki: And so, we've been permitted to take in the refugees on humanitarian ground. Lieutenant Itami, you're ordered to provide for the refugees and observe them.
Itami: I've got to take care of them?
Major Higaki: Yeah, so...
He immediately stood up and yelled at Itami in anger.
Major Higaki: Get going!
After that, Itami and his team were walked in the hallway as he gave some seperated duties to his team.
Itami: Kuribayashi and Kurokawa, you two get some rations from the mess. kurata and Tomita, you guys get tents from the post engineer. I'll handle the paperworks.
All: Roger
The team left him as he sighed before someone calls his name.
?: Hey, Itami
He turned his head and saw it was Yanagida.
Itami: Lieutenant Yanagida
Yanagida: Come with me for a moment

The two were now on the rooftop sun was also slowly setting, and to the west, the sky turned red where the day would began to spoke first.
Yanagida: You did it on purpose, didn't you?
Itami: What do you mean?
Yanagida: Don't play dumb with me. You never missed a single check-in, but after the fight with the dragon, you suddenly had comms trouble.
Itami: Well, uh, this is another world. Could've been due to magnetic storm or something like that.
Yanagida: ... You damn liar. Listen, Itami. The Special Region is like a treasure for us. In this world, its environment has not been destroyed or polluted. There's a lot of land and its plants are lush and vibrant. And those elements which would be considered rare earths back in our world are abundant here. The civilization level of the locals is as far from us as an ant would be from an elephant, which is an overwhelming advantage for the world. The government doesn't know what to do with this treasure... So I'll tell you this, is the Special Region worth turning the whole world against each other?
Itami: ... And if it is?
Yanagida: Then in politics, the country with most assets wins. This is an extreme example, but let's just hope that we survive by not getting ourselves drag into world war 3.
Yanagida started to walk away from Itami while saying...
Yanagida: Itami, in the next few days you're going to be given a great amount of freedom to act. So put the good use into it.
As their conversation was over, Itami was alone on the rooftop and stayed silent for a while.

In the field, the refugees were gathered for introduction.

She looked nervous as she caressing arms. Itami wrote their names on the paper before scratching his head as he looks at them.
Itami: T-today, make a house o-outside.
He started to make a weird and embarrassing body language.
Itami: So, everyone! Get ready! Go!
There was a moment of paused until Kurata speaks up.
Kurata: Captain, are those language lessons you took really paying off?
Itami: Shut up.
Timeskip: Evening
In one of the JSDF bathouse, Rory, Lelei, and Tuka were taking a bath. It relaxed them.
Rory: I can't believe they'd build a real bath in a place like this.
Lelei: I've never had an indoors bath, either.
Rory: You too?
lelei: I was originally part of a nomadic tribe called the Rurudo. So i've only ever bathed in rivers and streams. Did you have an indoor bath, Priestess?
Rory: Call me Rory. No need for the formal calling.
Lelei: In that case, you can call me Lelei.
Rory: You know, the temple had a luxurious imperial bath. But as an apostle, I'm fated to wonder throughout the land. So I'm pleasantly surprised to find a bath like this in the middle of nowhere.
Lelei: Itami said there would be a bath every day.
Rory: Oh, the one from JSDF.
Tuka: Is that the man who saved me?
Her outburst has made the two looked at her. She got embarrassed and leaned back against the wall of the bathtub.
Tuka: Um, I was wondering if he was the one who saved me when I was laying unconscious in the village well.
Lelei: Yes, it should have been Itami's squad that saved you.
Tuka: Itami...
Rory: You've mostly recovered from all of that, then?
Tuka: Eh?
Lelei: You lost your entire village and family just a short while ago. I understood you to have been in a state of serious shock.
Tuka: ... Um, I... Ever since that day, I haven't been able to repay those who helped me. I wonder if it's okay for me to be here.
Rory: It's fine. You don't need to worry about not repaying them. From what we've seen, they're here just to help you out without any rewards.
The girls stayed in the bath for a while until they move on to washing their heads. Rory brought out a topic about that she noticed Lelei learned a lot of Japanese language, but she only answered her that she's still learning their language. Giving out other information, she tells them that the warriors from beyond the gate are from different countries such as Japan, USA, Germany, UK, Poland, Canada, and more. Different cultures everywhere within Alnus Base. It surprises the priestess and the Elf Girl that so many of them came to Falmart.
Timeskip: Morning
Meanwhile, at the same time as Alnus Base...
Inside the hidden barrier in Western Desert, the Japanese Sun Goddess woke up from her slumber. She's a bit messy in the morning, even though she's the sun goddess herself, she hates to wake up early. She had to stayed up all night drinking alcohol with the other deities to washed her stress. Stepping out from her bed, she goes to the bathroom and take a shower. Once she was done, she dried herself up, brushed her teeth, and then putting her clothes and make-up on. Her clothing were much like Inari having a detached sleeves, exposing her armpits. She wore a red kimono, a very long hakama with orange and white stripes, and a crown adorned with the shape of the sun. Unlike what she depicted in her old illustration, she has a very long dusty rose colored hair.
She opened the door to the outside before closing it behind her and locked it. She's currently living in a villa... A suburbanresidential villas. It's a temporary house for the gods and supernaturals who want to stay in Falmart without going back and forth to their homes through the gates. And all of them are free. Each villa has their own necessary and unnecessary of facilities such as comfiest bed, wardrobe, complete set of kitchen if they want to cook or not, complete set of bathroom, desk, and more. Amaterasu decided to lived there because she's still has work to do in the HQ. There are few deities and supernaturals chose to stay in their own homes. Without further ado, she flew up from the ground.
As she flies, she's coming closer to the center of the city. There were also other deities and supernaturals seen flying in different directions. It was very normal for everyone to fly since most of them can do that. For those who can't fly whether using magic, wings, or other methods, there are still some individuals who are willing to help them be carried. The city has different terrain in every part of the area. She landed down in front of the HQ once she was done flying and walked inside of it.
In the HQ, she walked passed the lobby and to the hall. There's a screen board showing a full completed scale map of Falmart and its inhabitants. It showed their accurate number of populations, name of their cities, and the name of Earth's deities and supernaturals who were on expedition mission. That includes seeing the realms of Falmart Deities. They used technologies just like humans do for a better life of work, except their technologies were more advance than on Earth. Of course, they could use their powers to oversee things, but since it's kind of tiring and annoying when announcing it to other deities and supernaturals who don't have that kind of abilities, they'd prefer using technologies like humans.
Amaterasu entered in one of the room and soon meet up with few individuals at the round meeting table. The individuals were Okami Inari the Goddess of Foxes, Yakumo Yukari the Youkai of Boundary, Yakumo Ran the Shikigami of Boundary Youkai, Chen theShikigami of Yakumo Ran, Jophiel the Archangel of God, Michael the Archangel of God, Junko the Devine Spirit, Hecatia Lapislazuli the Goddess of the Underworld, Shinki the Goddess of Makai, Houraisan Kaguya the Former Moon Princess, Yagokoro Eirin theBrain of the Moon,Izanagi the Creation God and Amaterasu's Father, Buddha the Enlightenment One, Jade Emperor the Chinese Primordial God, Brahma the Hindu Creation God, and finally, Jesus the Son of walked towards the seat and sat down among the group. She took a deep breath before she prepared to start talking.
Amaterasu: ... Ok, let's get started. Yukari, the light please?
A space-ripping gap opened near the light switch before an arm emerged from it and flipped the switch off. The arm went back inside and the gap closed. The room didn't go completely dark, instead it was dimmed because of the presence of both angels aura. Amaterasu used her power and one ball of solar fire started to form into one big sphere view. Behind the solar sphere showed the JSDF and two other allied recon teams were preparing to go on their Journey again. The solar sphere changed its view again and it showed a city.
Amaterasu: Italica, a mid-sized city and one of the Saderan's most important strategic commercial hub with agricultural capabilities. That is where our humans will go to defend that city... But, as you may know yesterday, we have a bigger problem. Jesus?
Jesus raised His hand and the sphere changed its view once again to reveal the horror. It showed an army of infernal beings, so many evil, so many immoral, so many hell, and so many darkness. There, four individuals were seen leading the army. The first one was Izanami, Izanagi's wife after he left her to rot in Yomi during his visit. She swore that she will have her revenge and will make her husband pay for what he had done. The second was Seth, Egyptian Disorder God. He managed took control of his brother's hell and lead the diabolical souls to show his leadership. The third was the worse of them all. He is known to be the original sin, the deceiver, and the strongest of all hells. It was Satan or Lucifer, the Fallen. Beside that deceiver was Sariel, the fallen Angel of Death. Sariel was the only one staying in her cute human girl looks.
Jesus: Satan has convinced most hells to join him to rule this land. But there are others who would not follow him nor be convinced.
He looked at Shinki and Hecatia who were sitting next to Junko while Shinki next to Michael. Hecatia gave out a peace sign while Shinki lowering her head, avoiding His gaze. She never thought she would meet her God again after "that" incident. Even though she was a fallen angel, she was the only one who realized that it would be meaningless if she rule humanity. So, she'd prefer and created her own world and not bother humanity... Except one incident where it got involved a certain shrine maiden to kicked her ass. Nevertheless, she raised a fine girl who were once a human and has gotten soft and act like a motherly figure. Though, that girl had left Makai to live on her own.
Jophiel: Shinki.
She jolted when hearing her "sister" called her name. She raised her head and cleared her throat before she gave a nervous smile.
Shinki: A-Anyway, yesterday, me and Hecatia were got invaded by them. We were outnumbered and had not enough firepower to defend our world. Most of us took refugee in this place to survive. And I'll tell you, I hated it when Sariel comes in and almost killed my maid.
Hecatia: And that is where I saved your butt, along with that angel!(Point at Michael)
Hecatia interrupted which made Shinki annoyed and puffed her cheek.
Shinki: I was trying to get to the good part!
Hecatia swayed her hand back and forth as if she's not listening her argument.
Hecatia: Yeah Yeah Yeah, whatever, anyway, I had managed to interrogated one of the Deceiver's minions, they say that they will give away the power of darkness and corrupt to the bandits. It would boost their lust for blood or something like that. That is all I could say before they blew themselves up.
After revealing their plan, Buddha looked Izanagi as he stared at the solar sphere. He looks afraid, and filled of guilt.
Buddha: ... Izanagi, are you ok?
Izanagi:*Jolt*Hmm? Oh, yeah, sure sure!
Amaterasu sighed as she rested her face on her hands. Being a leader is hard, she thought. Revealing themselves to the humans was crucial, but letting them die was more cruel than that. She didn't know anything what to do at this point. That, until God the Son noticed her trouble.
Jesus: ... Truly, I tell you...
Everyone turned their attention towaeds the Son of God in confusion, but not for His angels.
Jesus: You're concerned for humanity because you care for them. I have seen you changed throughout the years and learned your mistakes. I can see your heart that you wanted to protect them. So I tell you, what does your heart say?
That question, it made them silence. Nobody could answer that. But He didn't press that question, instead, He continous to speak in soft tone.
Jesus: Let them know that we are here for them. Not just the people of Earth, but for this world too.
They heard Him, but still wavered. Amaterasu then began to ask a question about the meaning of His words.
Amaterasu: Jesus, are you saying that we will reveal ourselves to the humans?
Jesus looked at Amaterasu's eyes. He could see the doubt in her eyes.
Jesus: Satan will end all of humanity, along with the others who joined him. Every sons and daughters will die in vain in a battle they can't win. And not just that, they will also destroy your homes.
He returned His gaze to the others.
Jesus: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." I had accomplished that mission long, long ago, and now I'm giving you the opportunity to save them just like I did. You are their guardians, who protects humanity from harm. Even at the darkest times, even when you have done something wrong, and even when you can't see yourself, you still protects who you care the most. I can give you many examples of your deeds, but I will give you two examples.
He gestured His hand towards Amaterasu.
Jesus: Oomikami Amaterasu, you had protected your people and those who were not yours. You have saved them, regardless of faiths and nations. You even saved this world's people from the Flame Dragon.
Next, He gestured towards Shinki. She went "EEP!" when He turned His attention at her.
Jesus: ... You've raised a healthy daughter, even when she was adopted. I know you struggle a lot, but you cared for her like the mother you are.
Once He was done making an example, he looked at all of them again with such hope.
Jesus: Anyone wants to go to Italica must 9 individuals. There, you will reveal yourself and defeat the darkness. I do not force you because this is your choice.
They thought about it for a moment. They do care about humanity and some do care about their homes not to be destroyed by evil forces. Among them, Buddha began to make a comment, along with the other four.
Buddha: I agree with Son of God. They will never find peace and enlightenment if they're like this.
Jade Emperor: We owed humanity for their creativity.
Brahma: Yes, it is time for us to reveal ourselves in the right time.
Izanagi: So who are going to volunteer?
Jophiel: I'll go!
Jophiel stood up from her seat.
Junko: Fufufu, we also joining in.
She and Hecatia also stood up, ready to fight.
Hecatia:*smirk*I still have business with those intruders.
Kaguya: Welp, seems like fun anyway.*Stand up*
Eirin: Hime-sama?
Kaguya: Don't worry, Eirin, I'll be fine. I can defend myself. Plus, I need a target practice for the next time I meet Mokou-tan. I'll be so much stronger.
Yukari:*Stand up*
Ran: Yukari-sama?
Yukari flipped open her fan and covered her mouth.
Yukari: Ran, Chen, we can't let those "thing" destroy Gensokyo, Right?
Chen: Hai! Yukari-sama!*Stand up*
Ran:*Stand up and sigh*
Amaterasu: ... I'm going too.
She stood up with a dark shadow over her eyes as if she felt upset about something.
Inari: Amaterasu-sama? What about-
Amaterasu: Inari, we have bigger problem than what you were thinking. I will show them what a sun goddess would do. You coming?
She looked at Inari with an intimidating stare. She must've been hurt when her mother was involved. She also upset that her father is a coward for not confronting his wife. Fast forwards later, after they were done briefing, Amaterasu and the other 8 girls took off to the sky and flies away. They phassed through the barrier andaccelerated their speed.
The human recon teams and the 9 girls were now on their way to Italica.
