Hello! I don't own characters except my Mui Yui stuffies. Hope you enjoy! Oh yea, quick note, all of the hashira are in a cabin with their own separate rooms. Also I'll probably call him Mui for the entire fic
"..stupid rain," Mui sat up in his bed. The previous day, he had gone outside to meditate, since the stone hashira always does, and it had started to rain. He didn't think much of it, liking the backround sounds anyway. Well. He sure as heck was thinking about it now. His head and body ached, his throat was the definition of sandpaper, and his nose seemed to had gathered every known clogging device.
He looked at the clock on his nightstand. "Seriously? 5 in the morning...?" He thought, laying down again, which somehow made his head worse.
The night to him was hell. Any postion was torture for his head, and no matter how tired he was, he never could fall alseep. Ever. It felt like hours. And just when he was begining to finally drift off, the other hashira's voices woke him. It was now somehow 7. Well, particularlly one hashira, anyway.
"BREAKFAST IS READY!!!!!" Kyojuro announced as usual. "Umai!!"
The hashira all eventually came to the breakfast table.
"Are bento boxes really breakfast?" Obanai asked, sitting down and seeing the meal.
"Of course!" Kyojuro instantly answered. "I call it Bentofast!"
"It is quite flashy" Tengen walked in.
So, the hashira ate their bento boxes for breakfast (bentofast). Mui had a few bites, not particularlly hungry, until his stomach gave the "don't you dare eat another" warning. But even while not eating, he was getting nauseous from all the smell of food.
"You alright, kid?" Sanemi noticed the mist hashira was breathing rather heavily.
"huh? yea... just not .. hungry.." he tried keeping a "i definatly don't feel like utter shit" face on as much as he could.
Obanai usually took his food and left anyway, so Mui said he'd finish it later, taking off to his room, closing the door, and collapsing on his bed. He'd literally only gotten up to eat 4 bites of "bentofast" and his body took that as running 3 marathons. At least now his bed felt heveanly, like a cloudlike paradise that he wouldn't be anywhere else right now, just in the heveanly bed of dreams and- shit.
He rushed up and off to the mini bathroom that connected to his room, expelling whatever of breakfast he'd eaten.
-Knock-knock-
Mui stood up from panting. Why, and who, was knocking on his door? of all times?
He flushed the toliet and cracked open the door, his face showing visable confusion of who it was. "Shinazugawa?"
"You look pale as hell." Was all he said, Mui taking it as his way of asking "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine... just a headache and..." A wave of dizziness and nausea crashed over him "..unnhh.. I'm, fine, Shinazu..gawa.."
Sanemi gave him the sarcastic "uh-huh" face. "Lay down before you collapse" He said not kindly nor rudely.
Mui, to tired to protest, slowly made his way his bed, plopping on it. "Why.. are you concerned about me... Shinazugawa?" he asked quietly.
" I'm only looking at you. You look miserable. " Sanemi stood in the doorway. "I'll get Kocho to look at you"
Mui felt a bit embarrased, not wanting to have anyone else occupied with taking care of him. But its not like he felt like staring at the ceiling all day, unable to fall asleep.
"May I come in?" The insect hashira peaked in the door.
"S-sure..."
"So you're not feeling well?" She came in, cracking the door behind her.
"... I dunno... the rain from yester- crap," he flew off to the bathroom again, returning paler than ever.
Shinobu made some medicine for him, and eventually let him rest, leaving once he was asleep.
He woke up, looked at the clock. 5 pm? He'd slept all afternoon? He felt robbed of the day. But, its not like he felt like doing anything before.
His stomach felt a bit better, and his body felt less heavy. So, he sat up. Wrong idea.
His head suddenly screamed in pain, sending him right back down. "will this ever end...?" he asked himself. He tried falling back asleep, only then to feel someone sitting on his bed. He looked over and froze, double checking if his eyes were actually seeing right.
"Y-Yuichiro?" He stared into the eyes of his brother.
Shinobu checked his temputure. "He's hallucinating now..." She thought to herself, putting a damp cloth on his forehead. "I hope you get well soon"
In his feverish hallucinations, tears began flowing down Mui's face, seeing his long lost twin, alive and well. "Yuichiro..," he drifted off, trying to reach his hand out.
Shinobu felt bad for the boy, remebering dreaming of Kanae the night she had lost her, only to wake up and realize it was only an illusion.
"Yuichiro!" Mui shot up, panting and looking around. The sun's rays shone through the blinds as he heard the morning birds outside. He looked at the clock. 10 am. Was Yuichiro just a dream? But he could've sworn he saw him. He then noticed his headache was gone, and although he wasn't exactly hungry, his stomach felt much better.
He stared at the spot on the bed that he remembered seeing Yuichiro. "...brother..." Silence filled the room. If only he'd gotten back quicker, or killed the demon sooner, or-
"Muichiro"
He jumped in suprize, whipping around behind him where the voice came from. He stared at the blank wall. It didn't just talk, right? no, the voice sounded framilier.
"I'm glad you're okay, Mui" His brother's voice filled the room as well as a mysterious fog, then dissapearing, as if his spirit had flown down to check on his little twin.
Tears came from his eyes. ".. thank you, Yui"
