As Ben slowly adapted to life on Yvaga, he learned from Masters Koth and Vos of the growing Rebellion against the Empire… and the group formed in response to aiding force-sensitives.
"The Hidden Path?"
"That's what we call it", Koth replied. "Has a nice ring to it, wouldn't you agree? Senator Organa came up with it."
Did he now? Ben vaguely remembered the conversation he and Aubrie had with the Senator about the "hidden path" they would take, just after the Order fell.
A coincidence? Somehow, I doubt it.
"While I train Padawan Carradine, I would ask that you take my place in the Path", Master Vos said to Ben. "We are getting reports, constantly, of force-sensitive children being stolen by the Empire. We must move against this, while we still can.
Ben nodded. After three years on the sidelines, he knew it was time to fight.
"One last thing", Master Koth said to Ben. "We cannot have the families know your real name, so you must come up with an alias for yourself. Think long and hard about it, Obrin- I doubt you will be able to change it."
There was no need to think for Ben. He knew the alias he would use. It was time for him to embrace his ridiculous nickname.
You never knew- the children might like it.

As Ashla Kene was ushered towards the ship, gripping her stuffed animal tightly, she wondered in bewilderment if she would ever see her home again.
"Quickly, sweetheart", her parents whispered. "We don't want to be late."
"Late for what?"
"Shush."
Ashla did not like being shushed. She did not like leaving her home. She certainly did not like leaving her friends behind.
She struggled not to cry, as the ship took off. They were the only passengers on board, and there was only one pilot.
"We are grateful for this, Master Jedi", her father addressed the pilot. "Truly- we cannot thank you enough."
"No thanks necessary", the pilot replied. As the ship jumped to hyperspace, the pilot turned to meet them.
"Hello, Ashla", the man smiled down at her. "Your Mummy and Daddy say you are very special."
Ashla moved closer to her mother. "You are… a Jedi?"
"Indeed. My name is Jedi Bob."
"That's the dumbest name I've ever heard."
"Ashla!" Her mother scolded her.
But all the Jedi did was laugh, and before she knew it, Ashla was laughing as well.
