Before I begin this, I thought of having Ai and Mako in this fic, but it might be a small cameo, also they'd be Takato's younger brother and sister, and related to him by blood, not adoption. I got the idea from ChipmunkRaccoonOz. But Impmon will make an appearance in it, so enjoy.
After witnessing Spirit Evolution and fighting off a group of five Tyrannomon, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, the DigiDestined, the Pokémon, and the Digimon continued on their search for the Tamers' missing partners.
Along the way, they hear the sound of clashing, making them stop in their place.
"You hear that?" Lisia asked.
"I heard it," Riku said.
"It sounded very close," Matt said.
"Okay, let's check it out, but we should be careful, because we don't know what it could be," Kairi said.
Everyone all agreed with Kairi as the group proceeded to take an approach to the sound of the sound. As they got closer, they saw it was just a couple of Digimon that resembled a monoclonius. Their upper faces are covered by black armor that extends into bony frills with red stripes. Their grayish build is armored on the back reaching all the way to the tail with white bone armor on their stomach. Each of their noses has a single large horn, sharp teeth and has green eyes.
The two Digimon were fighting each other. They clashed their horns against one another and they bit each other, too.
"Are those Digimon, too?" Max asked.
"Yeah. Those Digimon are Monochromon," TK said.
"Like Tyrannomon, Monochromon are really nice Digimon unless you provoke them," Patamon said.
"If they're so nice, then why are they fighting each other?" Lyra asked.
"It's normal with Monochromon. They fight each other over territory," Tentomon said.
"Well, they might as well have have it because I don't wanna stay and fight the winner!" May said.
The two Monochromon continued to fight each other. One of them spewed a fire attack at the other one and then rammed into it like a rhino charging at a predator. The defeated Monochromon got up and limped away. The winner snorted some smoke from its nostrils. The winning Monochromon was proud of its victory.
The group kept on running and they stopped to catch their breath.
"That was close," Leaf panted.
"Yeah. Those things would have worse. We could have ran into more Heartless," Davis said.
"Or some other Digimon that wants to pick a fight with us," Kazu said.
"Okay, don't any of you jinx it for us, because we don't want any bad luck," Yolei said.
"Indeed not," Hawkmon agreed.
"Think of it as an adventure. We've been through worse than any Golemon or Tyrannomon," Tai said.
Not too far from them, several Digimon that strongly resembles bee-fly larva. Each of these Digimon are small yellow caterpillar with black lightning shaped stripes, blue mandibles, a pair of long antennae, twelve legs with blue claws on the front six, and a long stinger on the end of the abdomen. These Digimon are known as Kunemon. They were eating the leaves on the trees.
"You know, I have been thinking," Sora said.
"Thinking about what?" Lisia asked.
"Well, I was thinking about that Digivolution we saw. I mean, it was cool seeing the Digimon get bigger, but for some reason, it kinda reminded me of Mega Evolution," Sora said.
"Mega Evolution?" Neemon asked.
"If I recall, you said that's a phenomenon that happens when Pokémon and Trainers shares a strong bond of trust and allows a Pokémon to take on a new form," Tentomon said.
"Yeah, we did share that," Izzy said.
"Why bring that up?" Matt asked.
"Well, I just thought that it was weird that they just change back instead of staying in that form," Sora said.
"He has a point. Regular evolution is permanent while Mega Evolution is temporary," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"While we're on the subject, can a Digimon Digivolve with or without you?" Leaf asked.
"Well, they can't Digivolve without found that out the hard way. We share our bonds with the Digimon the same way as we do with Pokémon," Cody said.
"And that makes our bond pretty strong," Armadillomon said.
"I don't doubt it," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"Before we go on about Pokémon evolution, I've been thinking about the attacks we had from those Golemon and those Tyrannomon earlier. We know that it was caused by Soundbirdmon, but what if we're not the only ones being targeted. Maybe Guilmon and the others are being targeted, too?" Koji pointed out. Everyone all looked at him.
"You know, I had the same exact thought. I am certain that they could have run into the Heartless by now. Or perhaps been attacked by Digimon controlled by the Soundbirdmon," Izzy said.
"Oh, no!" Suzie said.
"That wouldn't be very nice," Calumon said.
"That gives us more of a reason to find them before something happens," Henry said.
"I agree with Henry. But we should also consider that there could be Nobodies or Unversed in here, too if the Heartless have shown up," Ken said.
"It wouldn't surprise me. The Nobodies and Unversed can show up from anywhere," Ash said.
"But they might bump into Heartless, Nobodies, or Unversed that can be bigger and badder than the Digimon we've seen so far," Kairi said.
"Then it's a good thing you're here with us," Sora T said.
"Well, we'll keep our eyes opened for them and handle whatever comes our way," Sora said. Everyone nodded with agreement.
"They could come out from anywhere," Joe said.
"Yeah, but it's nothing they can't handle, right?" Tommy asked.
"Right, Tommy. We've seen them in action," Takato said.
"Char, Charmeleon, Char!" Guil said.
"So how are we going to go about the search?" Ash asked.
"We'll be in a group of two groups. Tai, Davis, and the rest of their group will be with Riku, Ash, Naminé, and Leaf. Takuya and his team will be with Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Lisia, and Max. Takato and his team are with me and Kairi," Sora said.
"That works," Lisia said.
"We're gonna have to keep in touch in case something happens," Kris suggested.
"Anything like Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, or any other attacking Digimon," Ethan said.
"Good idea. We'll all meet back here," Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, the Digimon Tamers, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste take the north while Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Tai and Davis's team, Amy, Eevee, and Azurill took the east. Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Takuya's team, and Marill went to the west.
Over to the east, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Tai and Davis's team, Amy, Eevee, and Azurill walked by a forest trail where all sorts of trees surrounding them. The trees were filled with some unusually colored fruit. There were blue apples, pink pears, white lemons, and purple peaches.
"Anyone think that the colors of this fruit is weird?" Riku asked.
"It looks weird, but this is the Digital World, so anything is possible. Next thing you know, we'll be seeing some red oranges, or silver grapefruit," Leaf said.
"There are some meat apples, too, and those are really tasty," Agumon said.
"If you wanna try them out, I can fly up and gather them up," Biyomon said.
"You didn't forget that I can fly, too, did you? Well, Hawkmon, Patamon, and I can," Tentomon said.
"I didn't forget, Tentomon, because you can help, too," Biyomon said.
Biyomon and Tentomon flew up and grabbed many as they can carry. The branches had some Kunemon eating the fruit.
"You know, Amy, you can hold my hand if you're feeling scared," Davis said.
"I feel safe with you around, Davis," Amy said. Davis blushed.
"So, Amy. Tell. How did you Davis meet?" Veemon asked.
"Davis and I met when I was attacked by the Unversed," Amy said.
"Yeah, she would have been a goner if I hadn't come along," Davis said.
"Davis was brave in doing it," Amy said.
"Well, he does have the Digi-Egg of Courage, after all. And he's the bravest person I have ever known," Veemon said.
"Digi-Egg of Courage?" Amy asked.
"It's something use to make our Digimon Armor Digivolve," Davis answered.
"Armor Digivolve?" Amy asked.
"Well, it's a different kind of Digivolving than what you say earlier. It's super-awesome," Davis said.
"I don't doubt it. Can any of the other Digimon do that or is it just Veemon?" Amy asked.
"Actually, Patamon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Gatomon can Armor Digivolve, too," TK said.
"That is something I would like to see," Amy said.
"Think we'll save that when we're in a fight," Hawkmon said.
"I have been thinking about the Unversed when Amy mentioned them. Just what are the Unversed?" Gatomon asked.
"We don't know much about them, but we were told that the Unversed came from negative feelings," Ken said.
"Negative feelings?" Wormmon asked.
"They're pretty different from the Heartless," TK said.
"And the Nobodies, too," Cody said.
Flying above them, a small group of Porygon were flying by.
"Hey, are those Porygon?" Lyra asked.
"Rill?" Marill asked.
"That's right. Porygon, Porygon2, and Porygon-Z have been classified as the Virtual Pokémon, so it seems appropriate for them," Izzy said.
"You know, I heard the Porygon line originated from data, so it makes total sense," Riku said.
"Maybe, they could have been born from the data in Ansem the Wise's computer," Ash said.
"What do you mean by that, Ash?" Sora T asked.
"Well, we've been in Hollow Bastion, and we found his study, but we couldn't get the info we wanted because the computer told us that the data is corrupt, leaving us at a dead end on the info on the Organization and the Nobodies," Ash said.
"Sounds like he didn't want anyone to know about something," Mimi said.
"That's one way to put it," Naminé said.
"What do you think Ansem was hiding?" Gabumon asked.
"If we knew that, then we wouldn't be wondering," Leaf said.
Unknown to them, they were being watched by a green goblin-like Digimon with yellow eyes, short red mohawk hair, and pointy ears. It has two large teeth in its mouth, five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot. It wears a pierced ring on its left ear and a light brown sleeveless jacket that is open with brown trim and has black leather adorned by metal orbs near its shoulders. It also wears a brown belt and a light brown loincloth. It carries a wooden club with screws on it, and a metallic ornament under its hilt. This Digimon is known as Goblimon. It was watching them from the nearby bushes.
"The DigiDestined. They're here," the Goblimon said.
Over to Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, and Takuya's team, they were searching for any signs of Guilmon. Thanks to the description Takato gave him, they knew how to find him. Munchlax grabbed a huge mushroom and swallowed it whole.
"Hurry up, Munchlax. Don't slow down just to stuff your face." - Mime Jr subtitle.
"But I need to eat to keep my strength up." - Munchlax subtitle.
"Get a move on! We don't need you and your appetite slowing us down!" - Mime Jr said, pulling on Munchlax's fur. The Big Eater Pokémon followed the Mime Pokémon and the rest of the group.
"I don't see any signs of Takato or the other's Digimon. How about the rest of you?" Ethan asked.
"Not a thing," Lyra said.
"Anybody got any ideas?" Kris asked.
"Hey, how about we have our Pokémon helping us out?" Lyra suggested.
"You think that's a good idea, Lyra? We're on an unknown territory, and our Pokémon wouldn't know where to look," Brendan pointed out.
"Unknown to you, but not to us," Koji said.
"And I think I know who would be helpful," Zoe said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Togetic! Come out!" Her Pokéball opened and her Togetic emerged from inside. "Togetic, we need you to look around for any signs of a red Digimon and some others with him. Think you can do that?" Togetic nodded and went off to its task.
"I still think it's risky," Brendan said.
"Don't be such a worry wart, Brendan. We'll be okay as long as we're with someone who knows this place like the back of their hands," Kris said.
Unknown to them, another Goblimon was watching them close. He knew it was confimred that they were in the DIgital World, and he had to make his report.
Over to the north, Sora, Kairi, the Digimon Tamers, and the Pokémon continued to search for the Digimon. While they were looking, Takato had told Sora some things about him.
"Wait a minute. You're saying that you created Guilmon?" Sora asked.
"Uh-huh. And then, like magic, he came to life. I had to admit, I was afraid at first, but he turned out as affectionate as a baby Growlithe. Henry, Ryo, and Rika already had their partners, but Jeri, Kazu, Kenta, Suzie, and my younger siblings, Ai and Mako had theirs not long after I did," Takato said.
"So, who's Calumon partnered with?" Sora asked.
"Calumon isn't partnered with anybody. But there is something special about him," Takato said.
"Yeah? Like what?" Sora asked.
"Well, he has a special powers when it comes to Digivolution. None of us could have known that about him, but it was a total shocker to us," Takato said.
"What kind of powers are we talking?" Sora asked.
"Well, there are times that our Digimon can make them Digivolve without the use of our Digivices. Sometimes they would cpme out of nowhere. Not just our Digimon are affected, but others, too," Takato said.
"Night of Fire!" A voice shouted.
"You hear that?" Kairi asked.
"I know that voice," Henry said.
"Impmon!" Calumon said.
"Impmon?" Sora and Kairi asked.
"They ran towards where the yell came from. They stopped to see a huge swarm of Jellyshades. Fighting the Jellyshades is a small, imp-like Digimon the size of a young child. Its entire body is purple, save for its white face, green eyes, the yellow smiley face on its stomach and the white claws on its feet. It wears red gloves and a red neckerchief.
"Monsters!" Suzie exclaimed.
"I knew it! Unversed!" Sora exclaimed.
"Pika!" Pikachu agreed.
"There's so many of them," Kazu said.
"Look! Impmon is taking them on by himself!" Ryo said.
"Night of Fire!" Impmon shouted, sending out a red fireball, hitting one. "Hey, get lost, you freaky jellyfish! Get away from me!" Impmon jumped up. Machine Gun Kick!" Impmon continuesly kicks the Jellyshades. "How about I chill you out! Night of Blizzard!" Impmon unleashes red ice, hitting a couple of Jellyshades. The Jellyshades were proving to be too much for him due to their mass numbers. They attacked by rushing at him.
"Impmon can't take on an entire army of Unversed!" Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel agreed.
"Pikachu," Xipak said.
"Vee," Celeste said.
"Then, we're gonna give him a hand," Sora said, summoning his Kingdom Key as Kairi has summoned her Keyblade to engage the Unversed. Pikachu and Xipak unleashed Thunderbolt, shocking some of the Jellyshades as Angel and Celeste fired Swift, hitting more of them.
"Hey, where did you come from?" Impmon asked. Sora and Kairi slashed at the Jellyshades.
"Don't worry. We got this," Sora said.
"Hey, nobody asked for your-" Impmon tried to get up, but he couldn't. "Ouch!"
Sora and Kairi engaged the Unversed as they enaged the couple, but they managed to strike down many of the Jellyshades as their numbers were dwindling. Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste dashed at the Jellyshades with Quick Attack as Sora slashed through several Jellyshades as Kairi has casted a crystal spell, taking out a handful of Jellyshades. They kept on fighting the Jellyshades until the last of the Jellyshades were destroyed.
"That takes care of them," Sora said.
"I could have whooped them all if you hadn't showed up," Impmon said.
"Hey, we just saved your life, so I should be grateful if I were you," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Look! I-" Impmon was about to retort when he saw the Digimon Tamers. "Huh? Takato, Henry, Rika, Ryo, Jeri, Kazu, Kenta, Suzie? When did you get here?"
"You haven't changed a bit, Impmon," Henry said.
"What are you doing out here?" Takato asked.
"Looking for pineapple-head and the others after they've split. I've been looking for them for days. I was taking a break when those jellyfish things attacked me. Who are they, anyway?" Impmon asked.
"I'm Sora, and this is Pikachu, and this is Xipak," Sora introduced.
"I'm Kairi, and this is Angel, and this is Celeste," Kairi introduced.
"Pikachu, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Chu," Xipak said.
"Vee," Celeste said.
"How do you know Impmon?" Sora asked.
"Impmon is Ai and Mako's Digimon," Takato said. Hearing their names made Impmon blush.
"How are they? They're not with you, are they?" Impmon asked.
"Oh, they're doing okay. And no, they're not here. They're at home. They wanted me to tell you that they said hi," Takato said. Impmon thinks of Ai and Mako.
Speaking of which, we go to a bakery in Saffron City. We see Takato's parents who are currently working in their bakery. Takato's father has lightly tan skin, brown hair, and brown eyes while his mother has light skin, short brown hair and brown eyes. Helping in the bakery is a Dachsbun (Pokémon descriptions will not be given in this fic, but they will be in the main one). Upstairs, we see two little kids playing with their toys.
One is a little girl with lightly tanned skin, brown eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair, which is worn in pigtails with red hair ties. She wears a pink shirt with long sleeves under a wine-colored dress, and yellow socks. This girl is Ai.
The other is a little boy with light skin, brown eyes, and brown spiky hair. He wears a white shirt with long sleeves under a blue jumpsuit with a red pocket on each side, and green socks. The boy is Mako.
On the walls were crayon drawings of Impmon. There were also others of Takato, Guilmon, and even Guil. There was one of Ai, Mako, and Impmon together. Impmon was between them, holding hands and smiling.
Back in the Digital World, Sora, Kairi, the Digimon Tamers, and the Pokémon are joined by Impmon as they filled him about the Unversed that attacked him.
"Unversed? Not exactly a threatening name," Impmon said.
"They're a force to be reckoned with," Takato said.
"There are bigger and stronger ones, too," Kairi said.
"I'll take your word for it, but what were those keys you just held?" Impmon asked.
"You mean the Keyblades. That's what we used to fight those Unversed. Not only that, there are Heartless and Nobodies, too," Sora explained.
"We've seen those creatures, too," Henry said.
"I still can't get over the Groudon Butler tried to make before. It turned into a Heartless when it was born," Jeri said.
"Please, don't bring that up, Jer. It still gives me the creeps," Kazu said.
"Me too," Kazu said.
"Suck it up, you two," Rika said.
"Well, we should get a move on before any bad company sees us," Henry said.
"And you'll never know what it'll be," Ryo added as a Goblimon was watching them.
Meanwhile, two of the Goblimon were making their report to what seems to be a Guilmon, but it's black with red markings. This Digimon is BlackGuilmon.
"What? The DigiDestined have arrived, and there are other humans and Pokémon with them?" BlackGuilmon asked.
"Yes, BlackGuilmon. They've separated from one another," one of the Goblimon said.
"They've beaten the Golemon and the Tyrannomon that were under the Soundbirdmon's control," the other Goblimon said.
"Then, we're gonna need more Digimon to deal with them. Send in the Flymon. They'll drive them crazy with their buzzing, and do some serious damage with their stingers," BlackGuilmon said. The third Goblimon came to BlackGuilmon to make his report.
"BlackGuilmon! I saw two humans carrying key-like swords and they used them to defeat a swarm of monsters. They did it to save Impmon from them," the third Goblimon reported.
"Key-like swords?" BlackGuilmon asked. He turned to the first two Goblimon. "You idiots! Why didn't you mention that to me?"
"We didn't know about them, boss!" The first Goblimon said.
"Yeah, honest!" The second Goblimon added.
"Well, it doesn't matter anyway. The Flymon will be broken up in three groups. And you three will lead the attack," BlackGuilmon said.
"What are you gonna do, boss?" The second Goblimon asked.
"I'll make contact with the big bosses and let them know. Just don't blow it," BlackGuilmon said.
"Sure thing, boss," the three Goblimon said.
BlackGuilmon has stepped inside a cave and he made contact with with his superior.
"Something you want to report, BlackGuilmon?" The mysterious figure asked.
"Yes, Master. I have gotten word that the DigiDestined have arrived to the Digital World and there are other humans and Pokémon with them. The other humans had these key-like weapons with them," BlackGuilmon said.
"I am already aware," the mysterious figure said. BlackGuilmon was surprised by this response.
"He knows?!" BlackGuilmon exclaimed in his thoughts.
"It is no surprise that they have come here of all times. Make certain that they do not leave this world alive," the mysterious figure said.
"I am already dispatching a swarm of Flymon to deal with them. They won't be able to withstand their sonic buzzing," BlackGuilmon said.
"Excellent. But do not disappoint me, BlackGuilmon," the mysterious figure said, vanishing.
Back with Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Marill, and Takuya's DigiDestined team, Togetic had returned to Zoe.
"Did you find anything, Togetic?" Zoe asked. Togetic shook its head.
"It was a great idea, Zoe," JP said.
"Yeah, it was worth a try," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"Mime, Mime," Mime Jr said.
"Munchlax," Munchlax said.
Back with Sora, Kairi, the Digimon Tamers, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste, they went back to looking for Guilmon and the others when Sora is making contact with Riku.
Speaking of which, Riku hears his Rotom Phone ringing, and he answers it.
"Hey Sora. Did you find Takato's Digimon yet?" Riku asked.
"No, we're still looking, but the reason I'm calling is because we had a run-in with Unversed," Sora siad.
"Unversed?! Seriously?!" Riku exclaimed, making Riku's squad worry.
"Serious as a heart attack, Riku. They were attacking a Digimon we met, named Impmon. We got to him before something bad happened to him," Sora said.
"Looks like you guys were right about the Unversed being here, too," Joe said.
"As long as we don't see any Nobodies, we'll be okay," Sora T said.
"With our luck, it's never that way," Ash said.
"Keep your eyes opened for them," Sora said.
"Can do. And thanks for the heads-up," Riku said, breaking contact.
Back to Sora, he makes contact with Ethan's Rotom Phone.
Ethan hears his Rotom Phone ringing and he answered it.
"Hey, Sora. Did you find anything?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah, you can say that. We found Unversed here, too," Sora said.
"Unversed. Great," Ethan deadpanned.
"So they are here," Kris said.
"Yeah, but we found a Digimon they know. A Digimon named Impmon. He was attacked by the Unversed, but he's okay. Keep your eyes peeled," Sora said.
"Alright," Ethan said.
"That'll hurt," Neemon said.
"We're doing this again?" Bokomon asked, pulling Neemon by his pants and snapped him again.
"YEOW!" Neemon exclaimed in pain.
Then all of a sudden, a massive soundwave is sent at the group, and everyone covers their ears to keep out the noise, but their ears were hurting bad.
"OW! WHAT IS THAT?!" Brendan exclaimed.
"Oh, my ears!" Lisia cried.
"It feels like my ears are gonna explode!" May cried.
"What's going on?!" JP exclaimed.
Marill held her ears and she spotted the squad of bee-like Digimon. They had magenta insect wings with an eye symbol. They three-toed feet and two stingers at the end of the abdomen. These Digimon are Flymon.
"Marill!" Marill yelled, pointing to the source of the soundwaves. Lyra looked at the Aqua Mouse Pokémon and to the Flymon buzzing above them.
"Guys, we've got company!" Lyra said.
Everyone looked at the Flymon buzzing at them.
"Oh, this is what we need. Flymon," Bokomon said.
"They're the cause for all this, aren't they?" Max asked.
"Indeed they are. The buzzing of one Flymon is dreadful, but when joined together, it gets worse if there's a lot of them!" Bokomon exclaimed.
"Alright, you bugs! Give 'em a good stinging!" The Goblimon ordered.
"Deadly Sting!" Some of the Flymon shouted, firing their stingers at the group.
"Watch out!" Takuya shouted as the stingers pierce the ground.
"Watch for the stingers! They're filled with a paralyzing poison!" Bokomon exclaimed.
"Deadly Sting!" The Flymon shouted again. Everyone yelped.
"Okay, fly-boys! Get ready for a swatting of a lifetime!" Brendan said, summoning his Keyblade.
"Alright, let's do this!" Takuya said. Takuya and his team took out their Digivices and began to Spirit Evolve.
"Execute! Spirit Evolution!" Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi shouted.
"Agunimon!"
"Lobomon!"
"Beetlemon!"
"Kazemon!"
"Kumamon!"
"Loweemon!"
"Twice in one day," May said.
"May, fight now, admire later," Ethan said.
"I'm with him," Kris said, agreeing with her boyfriend as she, Lyra, and May summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Flymon.
Meanwhile, over to Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, and Tai and Davis's team of DigiDestined were looking for Guilmon when they hear the same buzzing sound.
"Ow! My ears!" Ash exclaimed.
"What is that?!" Leaf yelled.
"This could only be Flymon!" Tentomon exclaimed.
"What's a Flymon?" Riku asked.
"Those bugs up there!" Armadillomon said, pointing to the attacking insects. They saw the Flymon coming at them and they got ready to attack.
"Deadly Sting!" The Flymon shouted, firing their stingers.
"Don't let those hit you! They'll make you feel numb!" TK said. The Flymon kept firing their stingers as Davis took out his Digivice.
"Okay, how about you Armor Digivolve and you can swat these flies?" Davis asked.
"I was hoping you would say that!" Veemon said.
"Okay, guys! Get your Digivices and D-Terminals ready!" Davis said, taking out his. Yolei, Cody, TK, and Kari followed his lead.
"Digi Armor Energize!" Davis, Yolei, Cody, TK, and Kari shouted. Orange, red, purple, yellow, and pink energies surrounds Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Patamon, and Gatomon.
"Veemon Armor Digivolve to..."

Veemon has become a bipedal creature with blue skin that looks like a grown version of Veemon. He wore armor on his face, chest, thighs, hands, and feet. He has a blade-like spike protruding from his mask and claws from his hands. The armor is covered with flame-like designs like the Digi-Egg of Courage. He wore belts on his upper arms.
"Flamedramon! The Fire of Courage!"
Hawkmon has become a griffin-like creature resembling a bald eagle with red feathers and large yellow feet. His head is covered with a silver armor that looks like the Digi-Egg of Love, while on his forehead is the Crest of Love with one purple curved mark behind each side of his eyes. He has wings which each have three digits under the wings of his armor and a stiff, brushy tail.
"Halsemon! The Wings of Love!"
Armadillomon has become a yellow insectoid Digimon with drills on two of his hands and on his face. He has two additional smaller arms and insect wings on his back. He has the Crest of Knowledge on his back and purple markings on his forehead and front arms.
"Digmon! The Drill of Knowledge!"
Patamon has become a horse-like Digimon. He wore ornamental gold armor on its face, hooves and torso. It has a blond flowing mane but thin long tail. It has long feathered wings on its back. The armor bears the Crest of Hope.
"Pegasusmon! The Flying Galloping Hope!"
Gatomon's tail ring disappears and becomes a sphinx-like Digimon. She has large white wings and wore a mask over her face.
"Nefertimon! The Angel of Light!"
"Wow! They had other forms?" Ash asked.
"It's Armor Digivolution. They became Armor Digimon. It's like the Champion level, but it's completely different," Biyomon said.
"You ready, Wormmon?" Ken asked, holding out his Digivice.
"I'm more than ready!" Wormmon replied. Wormmon started to Digivolve. "Wormmon Digivolve to... Stingmon!" Stingmon flew in and joined in the fight. "Mind if I join in on the fun?"
"Not really. The more, the merrier," Flamedramon said.
"We're in!" Riku said, summoning his Keyblade along with Naminé, Ash, and Leaf.
"Get those guys!" The leading Flymon said.
The Flymon flew down at them.
Back with Sora, Kairi, the Digimon Tamers, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste, they covered their ears when the Flymon flew in with their sonic buzzing.
"What do you call those?" Sora asked.
"Flymon!" Henry answered.
"Those Digimon are bad news because of their buzzing and their stingers," Takato said.
"Deadly Sting!" Some of the Flymon shouted, firing their stingers at them. Sora, Kairi, and the Pokémon narrowly dodged as Guil fired a Flamethrower. The Flymon dodged. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Flymon.
"We may not have our Digimon, but we'll have to take them on," Takato said.
"Takato's right. Sora and Kairi won't handle them by themselves," Ryo said.
With that said, Takato, Henry, Rika, Ryo, Jeri, Kazu, and Kenta took out their Pokéballs and threw them.
"Sirfetch'd! Join right in!" Takato called out.
"Hitmonlee, Hariyama, Tyranitar! Go!" Henry called out.
"Ninetales, Ampharos, Jolteon! Go!" Rika called out.
" I choose you, Togekiss, Growlithe, Banette, and Cubone!" Jeri called out.
"Magnezone, Metagross! Go for it!" Kazu shouted.
"Porygon-Z, Slowbro, Corphish, Gorebyss! Go!" Kenta called out.
"Steelix, Gengar, Umbreon, Houndoom! I choose you!" Ryo called out.
The Digimon Tamers' Pokémon emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"Okay, let's take 'em!" Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, and the Pokémon took on the Flymon.
Up ahead, Guilmon stopped and sniffed the air. It was a scent he hadn't smelled for a while.
"Takato," Guilmon said.
"Hey, Guilmon," Terriermon said. Guilmon didn't look at him. "What's wrong?" Guilmon ran in the direction the scent was coming from.
"Hey! Guilmon! Come back!"
"Where is he going?" Leomon asked.
"Probably some food," Cyberdramon said.
The other Digimon followed Guilmon, making sure that nothing happens to him.
Sora smacked at one of the Flymon as Kairi unleashed a burst of magical energy, hitting the surrounding Flymon.
"Sirfetch'd! Brutal Swing! Guil! Use Flamethrower!" Takato ordered.
"Hitmonlee! Mega Kick! Hariyama! Arm Thrust! Tyranitar! Stone Edge!" Hentry ordered.
"Ninetales! Flamethrower! Ampharos! Thunder Punch! Jolteon! Pin Missile!" Rika ordered.
"Togekiss! Fairy Wind! Growlithe! Fire Spin! Cubone! Bonemerang! Banette! Shadow Ball!" Jeri ordered.
"Magnezone! Zap Cannon! Metagross! Hyper Beam!" Kazu ordered.
"Porygon-Z! Tri-Attack! Corphish! Bubble Beam! Slowbro! Shell Side Arm! Gorebyss! Ice Beam!" Kenta ordered.
"Steelix! Dragon Breath! Houndoom! Inferno! Umbreon! Snarl! Gengar! Night Shade!" Ryo ordered.
The Pokémon unleashed their chosen attacks and landed a hit onto the Flymon. Pikachu and Xipak unleashed a combo Thunderbolt as Angel and Celeste unleashed Swift.
"Deadly Sting!" The Flymon shouted, firing their stingers at the couple. Pikachu and Xipak swung their tails, redirecting the stingers.
"Thanks for the save, you two," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu and Xipak said in unison.
THe Flymon kept coming at them, so Hariyama grabbed one of them and gave him a toss.
Back with Riku's group, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, and the Armor Digimon kept on fighting the Flymon.
"Fire Rocket!" Flamedramon shouted, engulfing himself in flames and tackled into a Flymon.
"Tempest Wing!" Halsemon shouted, firing red beams from his red eyes, hitting a couple of them.
"Hey there, fellas! Who's ready for a Gold Rush?" Digmon asked, firing his drills at the Flymon. The drills explodes upon contact.
"Star Shower!" Pegasusmon shouted, flapping his wings. A swarm of stars showers down at the Flymon, hitting them.
"Rosetta Stone!" Nefertimon shouted, summoning a stone tablet and sent it at the Flymon, hitting them.
Ash casts a fire spell as Leaf casts a blizzard spell, hitting them.
"Naminé struck at one as Azurill fired Water Gun, hitting another one. Eevee fired Shadow Ball as Riku smacked into a Flymon.
Over to Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, and Takuya's DigiDestined team, they continued to fight the Flymon.

Beetlemon, "Thunder Fist!"
Kazemon, "Hurricane Wave!"
Kumamon, "Blizzard Blaster!"
Loweemon, "Shadow Meteor!"
The Digimon unleashed their attacks, hitting them. Ethan casts a magnet spell as Kris casts a music spell. Lyra gave one of the Flymon a smack while Brendan and May casted a thunder spell, hitting the Flymon.
Back with Sora, Kairi, the Tamers, and the Pokemon, they continued their fight with the Flymon when Guilmon stopped and saw Takato.
"I knew it. Takato!" Guilmon said.
Terriermon, Renamon, Leomon, Guardromon, MarineAngemon, Lopmon, and Cyberdramon stopped and they saw their partners.
Terriermon, "Henry!"
Renamon, "Rika!"
Leomon, "Jeri!"
Guardromon, "Kazu!"
MarineAngemon, "Kenta!"
Lopmon, "Suzie!"
"So it was Takato he sniffed!" Terriermon said.
"And look who they're up against," Renamon said.
"Flymon. Those bugs are bad news," Gaurdromon said.
"But who are they?" Lopmon asked.
"I don't know, but they need help," Renamon said.
With that said, Guilmon and the other Digimon rushed to aid their partners. Kairi sees them coming.
"Sora, look!" Kairi said. Sora saw the Digimon coming to assist them.
"Is that..." Sora paused. Takato sees Guilmon and he smiled.
"Guilmon!" Takato called out.
Henry, Rika, Jeri, Kazu, Kenta, Ryo, and Suzie saw their Digimon partners.
Henry, "Terriermon!"
Rika, "Renamon!"
Jeri, "Leomon!"
Kazu, "Guardromon!"
Kenta, "MarineAngemon!"
Ryo, "Cyberdramon!"
Suzie, "Lopmon!"
"I don't believe it!" Impmon said.
"Yay, yay, yay!" Calumon cheered. Calumon's forehead glowed as Takato, Henry, and Rika's Digivices started to glow.
"Guilmon Digivolve to..."
"Terriermon Digivolve to..."
"Renamon Digivolve to..."
Guilmon had become a titanic red dragon resembling a grown-up version of Guilmon. He has yellow eyes, and white hair growing behind its head. Two horns adorn his head, and black stripes on his thigh, tail, arms and neck. Each of his arms are equipped with sharp spikes. His shoulders are adorned with the symbol of the Digital Hazard, and the DigiCode on its stripes.
"Growlmon!"
Terriermon has become a bipedal lagomorph-like canine with green fur that has whisker-like markings on its cheeks and a diamond marking on his forehead under his horn. He wore a pair of mini-gun-like gauntlets with movable extremities on its tips, serving as its "fingers". It then wears D-VI'S 503xx denim jeans. His jeans are strapped firmly by a brown belt, with it having also having bullet magazines wrapped around his chest.
"Gargomon!"
Renamon has become a yellow nine-tailed fox with a white mane and mystical blue flames flaring around its paws and tail tips.
"Kyubimon!"
The Digimon rushed in and engaged the Flygon.
"Fist of the Beast King!" Leomon shouted, firing a lion head aura from his fist. One of the Flymon.
"Desolation Claw!" Cyberdramon roared and slashed at some of the Flymon, destroying them.
"Grenade Destroyer!" Guardromon shouted, firing whistling blowing missiles from his forearms. They struck the Flymon.
"Fox Tail Inferno!" Kyubimon shouted, summing flames from her nine tails and fired at the Flymon.
"Gargo Laser!" Gargomon shouted, firing lasers from his gauntlets, hitting the Flymon.
"Pyro Blaster!" Growlmon roared, firing a powerful flame attack, taking out the rest of the Flymon.
Growlmon, Gargomon, and Kyubimon de-Digivolved back to their Rookie forms and they went up to their partners.
"Takato," Guilmon said.
"Guilmon. I'm happy to see you," Takato said.
"You too," Guilmon said.
Over to the two groups, the remaining Flymon retreated as the Goblimon retreated with them. The Armor Digimon and the Legendary Warriors reverted back to their previous forms.
"Glad that's over," Tai said.
"Yeah, but for now," Riku said.
Riku is right because their troubles are trouble for now, but what else will happen next? Find out when we get to the next chapter.
