After Amy has become a DigiDestined and Moonmon has become a Lunamon to fight off a horde of Goblimon.
"I gotta say, it was awesome, Lunamon. Davis did tell me how a Digimon Digivolving was awesome," Amy said.
"I'm glad I was able to amaze you, Amy. I wanted to protect you," Lunamon said. "I got my strength from you."
"I gave you strength?" Amy asked. Lunamon nodded. She smiled. "Well, I'm glad I did, even though I didn't know how I did it."
"I promise that I will protect you, Amy," Lunamon said.
"And I'll do the same thing for you, Lunamon," Amy said.
Davis and Veemon watched over Amy and Lunamon, smiling.
"I can see why you like her so much, Davis," Veemon said, making Davis blush.
"I didn't say that I like her that much. She's just a friend," Davis said.
"Like Sora and Tai being just friends, Davis? Or maybe Matt and Mimi, TK and Kari, or maybe Agumon and Biyomon?" Veemon asked, giving him a teasing expression.
"Hey, I got over it when Kari rejected me. And I just like having Amy around, that's all," Davis said.
"If you say so, Davis," Veemon said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Davis asked.
"Nothing," Veemon playfully said.
Back with the rest of the group, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, the rest of the DigiDestined, the Pokémon, and the Digimon were resting after the fight.
"Man, who would have thought that a bunch of Goblimon could be so brutal?" May asked.
"Yeah, but that new Digimon of Amy's really saved the day," Brendan said.
"She sure did. We would have been barbecued by those trolls," Ethan said.
"Actually, Ethan, they weren't trolls, they were goblins," Izzy corrected Ethan.
"Kairi and I actually took on real goblins and trolls," Sora said.
"Don't remind me. That Trickster was a nasty one," Kairi said.
"Yeah, but whatever is in this world could be even nastier than that demon," Riku said.
"Riku's right. It's too soon for us to be relaxed. Master Rei often told us to never let our guard down; even for a moment," Ash said.
Unknown to them, a Soundbirdmon is watching over them from high above and flew to take control over another Digimon. It found a Digimon with a bull's head on a muscular, human body. It has brown-colored fur that looks to be a suit, with stitches on some portions and a zipper on the front. It has brown eyes, two, bull-like curved horns, brown hair, and a gold nose ring. It has a normal right hand, but its left sports a piece of machinery. It wears brown boots on its feet. This Digimon is known as Minotarumon.
After a moment's of rest, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, the rest of the DigiDestined, the Pokémon, and the Digimon have taken off once again to find Wisemon when they've felt a sudden tremor.
"You felt that?" Sora asked.
"I think I did," Leomon said, drawing his sword.
"A Digimon is near," Renamon said.
"Better than a Heartless," May said.
"Don't jinx it," Ryo said.
Suddenly, the ground erupts and Minotarumon huffs as it glares at them.
"What do you call that one?" Lyra asked.
"Minotarumon," Kari answered.
"A real aggressive Digimon, and that's no bull," Gatomon said.
"But I didn't come alone," Minotarumon said as 5 other Digimon appeared along with him.
One is a parrot-like Digimon. It has green feathers all around yellow feathers on its wings. It has golden bracelets on its wrists, three claws on each hand, red plumage at the forehead, a piece metal on its face and lower body, and red markings. This Digimon is known as Parrotmon.
Another Digimon is a bipedal tyrannosaurus rex-like Digimon with blue eyes, three fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, and a pair or teeth so large they pop out of the mouth. It has pallid grey skin on its body and black stripes on its head, arms, and legs. The tail appears to have wires attached to it, and it has black torn spikes on its back. The Digimon has black claws on its fingers and dark grey plating on its knees and feet, wears metal ornaments on its hands, has metal plating on its nose and lower jaw, and circuits on its chest. This Digimon is MetalTyrannomon.
Another is a reptilian skeletal Digimon with an intimidating appearance. It has a gapping lower jaw and horn on the top of its head. It an orange organic shark-like missile strapped to its back. This Digimon is known as SkullGreymon.
Another is a large flower-like Digimon with purple and yellow flower petals and two flower appendages with sharp teeth, and thorns. This Digimon is known as Blossomon.
And the other one is a mammoth-like Digimon with a metal mask on its face going down its trunk and an eye symbol in the middle. This Digimon is known as Mammothmon.
"Those are some nasty-looking Digimon," Max said.
"Those are Parrotmon, MetalTyrannomon, SkullGreymon, Blossomon, and Mammothmon," Izzy said.
"SkullGreymon?" Brendan asked.
"You're better off not knowing too much about it," Tai said.
"We can take them on," Agumon said, getting ready to fight.
"Yeah, we can take these jokers on!" Veemon added.
"Be sure to back up your word!" Minotarumon said as as Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Wormmon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, and Lopmon began to Digivolve as Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, and May summoned their Keyblades.

"Gatomon Digivolve to..." Gatomon transformed into a tall, slender, woman-like Digimon with fair skin, long blonde hair, and a silver helmet like that of Angemon. Her outfit is a skin-tight, white bodysuit that covers half of her body with white high heels, and she wears the Ten'ne characteristic of Tennin. She has eight white, dove-like wings with four on either side. She wore a golden ring on her left ankle. "Angewomon!"
"Veemon Digivolve to..." ExVeemon!"
"Wormmon Digivolve to... Stingmon!"
"Hawkmon Digivolve to... Aquilamon!"
"Armadillomon Digivolve to... Ankylomon!"
"Guilmon Digivolve to... Growlmon!"
"Terriermon Digivolve to... Gargomon!"
"Renamon Digivolve to... Kyubimon!"
"Lopmon Digivolve to... Turuiemon!"
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, and Marill were awestruck by what Gatomon had Digivolved to.
"That's Gatomon's Digivolved form? I never would have expected that," Ash said.
"She's beautiful," Kairi, Naminé, Kris, Lyra, May, and Lisia said with awe.
"Attack!" Minotarumon ordered. Parrotmon, MetalTyrannomon, SkullGreymon, Blossomon, and Mammothmon rushed at the Digivolved Digimon and Keyblade wielders.
"Desolation Claw!" Cybrerdramon roared when SkullGreymon grabbed him and threw him down.
"Cyberdramon!" Ryo exclaimed. Leomon drew his sword and leapt at MetalTyrannomon and smacked him down.
"Leomon!" Jeri cried.
MarineAngemon attempts to fight them, but SkullGreymon flicked him with his boney fingers.
"Buzz off, bug!" SkullGreymon said.
"Spiral Flower!" Blossom shouted, throwing the tiny flowers like they were shurikens. The Keyblade wielders dodged the flowers as Kairi casts a crystal fire spell, hitting her. Mammothmon attempts to crush them, but Garurumon, Ikkakumon, Ankylomon, Gargomon, Turuiemon, and Guardromon charged right at him, but Mammothmon easily overpowered them. Despite Angewomon, Cyberdramon, and MarineAngemon helping them, the Digimon were being overpowered.
"Let's end this," Minotarumon said, jabbing his mechanical arm into the ground. "Darkside Quake!" The earth erupts with some dark energy.
"Static Destroyer!" Parrotmon shouted, firing electricity from the plumes on his head.
"Tusk Crusher!" Mammothmon shouted, firing his tusks like rockets.
"Spiral Flower!" Blossomon shouted, throwing her flowers like shurikens.
"Buffalo Breath!" SkullGreymon shouted, spewing purple breath from his mouth.
"Nuclear Laser!" MetalTyrannomon shouted, firing an energy from his left arm.
The combined attacks overwhelmed the Digimon, making the Digivolved Digimon revert back to their previous forms.
"How could that have happened? Those Digimon were clearly outnumbered!" Max said.
"True, but they were too strong for them, and they're too tired from the last fight to keep going!" Bokomon said.
"Minotarumon is the kind of Digimon who would kick someone while they're down," Impmon said.
"And that's not very nice," Calumon said.
"Looks like we lost," Lisia said.
"Don't forget about us!" Sora said, smacking SkullGreymon with his Keyblade. "How do you like that, bonehead?"
"Try me out!" MetalTyrannomon said, coming at Sora, trying to smash him, but he dodged as Pikachu fired Thunderbolt at the cyborg tyrannosaurus-like Digimon. Parrotmon tried to grab Kairi and Naminé, but they dodged as Kairi casts a thunder spell as Naminé casts a balloon spell.
"That actually hurt! I'm gonna pluck you for that!" Parrotmon said.
"Don't touch my girlfriend, you green pigeon!" Riku said, swinging his Braveheart, hitting Parrotmon on the mark.
Mammothmon tried to stomp on Ash, Ethan, Lyra, Brendan, and Marill, but they were too slippery for them.
"Stand still so I could crush you!" Mammothmon roared.
"No way, hose nose!" Ethan said.
Blossomon tried to grab Leaf, Kris, and May, but they cast a combined fire spell, hitting the flower-like Digimon.
"What are you idiots doing?! They're just humans! How hard is it to kill them?!" Minotarumon roared.
"Harder than you think, horn-head!" Takuya said, holding out his Digivice. Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi held out their own. "And it's about to get even harder."
"Yeah!" Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi said.
"So is Agunimon making another appearance?" Sora asked.
"More likely, we'll unleash the beasts," Takuya said, leaving Sora puzzled by what he means. They activate their Digivices.
"Execute!" Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi shouted. "Beast Spirit Evolution!"
"Beast Spirit Evolution?" Sora asked.
Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi each underwent into a transformation. Instead of the forms they saw them, they saw them in different forms. Takuya has transformed into a dragon Digimon who has avian characteristics. He is standibg upright like a human in a bipedal posture. His head has a bird-like beak, albeit filled with razor-sharp teeth, blue, raptor eyes, and is almost entirely covered by silver helmet with crimson stripes, an emblem, and the Greymon horns. He has flaming, feathered wings and sharp claws on each of his limbs, and his muscular body is covered with crimson armor, inlaid with silver panels and gold etchings. Both of his forearms are equipped with triangular, golden superweapons, and its thick tail is armored.
Koji has transformed into a white robotic wolf-like Digimon. He is completely covered in white armor with golden edges and blue stripes. a curved golden spike is on his chest armor. He has skates on each of his feet and blades on his back.
JP has transformed into a beetle-likr Digimon whose entire body is covered in armor, with treads instead of legs, cannons on the ends of his arms, and his horn is a large turret.
Zoe has transformed into beautiful] bird-like woman with light-blue wings growing out of her head along with a ruff of feathers that resembles a hairdo, lightly tanned skin, light blue eyes, and two black stripes on her face. She has a pair of brown wings on her back, and three digits on both her hands and feet. She wears pink panties, a pink top with detached sleeves, and metallic shoulder pads. She also wears gauntlets with purple soft-edged pentagons with the symbol of the Spirits of Wind on them, pink boots with metallic knee pads, a long black scarf that resembles a strap, and a pink breathing mask. Her boots are connected to her top by pink straps that pass through the inside of its panties.
Tommy transformed into a towering-muscular yeti-type creature. He has snow-white fur, hairless brown hands and feet, dark-brown claws, a brown muzzle and markings on his cheeks/forehead, a pair of sharp horns that jutted from its forehead, a single gold-hooped earring on each ear, and dreadlocks that end in what appear to be spear-shaped tips. He has green-orange bracers on each of its forearms, as well as dark-brown armor on his chest and shoulders; in each of his hands, it wielded the double-bladed axes.
Koichi has transformed into a quadrupled robotic black lion with gold trims all over his body, and red jewels on his legs, and forehead. He has a dull tail at the end and silver jabs on his shoulders.

The Keyblade wielders, the rest of the DigiDestined, the Pokémon, and other Digimon were at awe with what they saw.
"Beast Spirit Evolution, huh?" May asked.
"Are they Digimon, too?" Lisia asked.
"Yes. The Beast Warriors of flame, light, thunder, wind, ice, and darkness: BurningGreymon, KendoGarurumon, MetalKabuterimon, Zephyrmon, KoriIkakumon, and JagerLoweemon. I was hoping when they'd do it again," Bokomon said.
"Glad you guys are on our side," Brendan said.
"Me too," Ethan said.
"Are we going to talk or are we going to fight the bad guys?" KoriIkakumon asked.
"He's right. Let's do this," Riku said.
With that said, the Keyblade wielders and the beast warriors fought the six evil Digimon. MetalKabuterimon rammed into MetalTyrannomon as KoriIkakumon took Mammothmon by the tusks. Zephyrmon went for Blossomon as KendoGarurumon takes on SkullGreymon JagerLoweemon deals with Parrotmon, and BurningGreymon deals with Minotarumon.
"So, you're the DigiDestined humans who is said to possess the Spirits of the ten Legendary Warriors. I am not impressed. The very idea of humans being Digimon is an insult to us real Digimon, and it's an insult I refuse to tolerate!" Minotarumon said.
"Then how do you feel about Keyblade wielders, you horn-head?" Sora taunted. Minotarumon turned to see Sora and Pikachu resting on Sora's shoulder.
"Don't worry, I haven't forgotten you, human!" Minotarumon roared, raising his arm and jabbing into the ground. "Darkside Quake!" Tje earth erupts as BurningGreymon grabbed Sora and Pikachu, taking them up. Pikachu jumped off of Sora and swings his tail, using Iron Tail. Minotarumon uses his mechanical arm to block it. BurningGreymon dropped Sora and he lands perfectly on his feet as he came at him with his Kingdom Key. Minotarumon blocked his attacks with the best of his abilities. BurningGreymon moves his subweapons and aims at Minotarumon.
"Sora 2! Move! I don't wanna hit you!" BurningGreymon shouted. Sora gets out of the way before BurningGreymon started firing. "Pyro Barrage!" BurningGreymon fires super-hot lasers at the minotaur-like Digimon.
Riku, Naminé, Ash, and Leaf assist KendoGarumon against SkullGreymon.
"Dark Shot!" SkullGreymon shouted firing the missile from his back.
"I don't think so! Riku, Naminé, Leaf, Ash, you take out that missile, I'll keep this bonehead busy!" KendoGarurumon said.
"Right!" Riku, Naminé, Ash, and Leaf said as they aim their Keyblades at the missile as it is coming down. With a combination of light and darkness, they fired beams from their Keyblades, destroying the missile completely. SkullGreymon attempts to grab KendoGarurumon, but he was preparing himself for his attack.
"Time to put you back underground, numbskull!" KendoGarurumon said. "Howling Star!" KendoGarurumon charges at SkullGreymon with extremely high speed, cutting the skeletal Digimon to pieces with his claymore wings. SkullGreymon literally fell to pieces before dissolving into bits of data. "Another one bites the dust!"
MetalKabuterimon manages to push MetalTyrannomon back with Ethan assisting in the fight. Ethan casts a thunder spell, hitting him.
"Hey, Ethan, you wanna see something cool?" MetalKabuterimon asked.
"Sure. What do you have in mind?" Ethan asked.
"Watch and you'll see," MetalKabuterimon said, aiming at MetalTyrannomon. "Electron Cannon!" MetalKabuterimon fires an extremely high-speed positron laser from the gun turret on his head. MetalTyrannomon is struck hard by the laser.
"Wow, that was cool!" Ethan said.
"That's just the warmup! Here comes the main event!" MetalKabuterimon said, raising his arms. "Bolo Thunder!" He collects and then fires all of his energy from both of his arms. The attack strikes MetalTyrannomon, destroying him. MetalTyrannomon roared in agony as he dissolves.
"Looks like MetalTyrannomon is now nothing but spare parts," Ethan said with awe.
Over to KoriIkakumon, he continued to push Mammothmon by the tusks and then gave the mammoth-like Digimon a push. Kris, Lyra, and Marill assisted him. Mammothmon roared as he stood on his feet.
"That thing isn't calling it quits!" Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill agreed.
"We aren't either," Kris said.
"I'm going to crush you all beneath my feet!" Mammothmon said.
"You need to cool off, you overgrown furball!" KoriIkakumon said. "Frozen Arrowheads!" KoriIkakumon wraps his extensible hair around Mammothmon's front feet. "Kris, Lyra, get him while you can!"
"Right! Try this!" Kris shouted, casting her music spell. The music notes hits Mammothmon on the mark.
"Try this one!" Lyra shouted, summoning water and striking the mammoth-like Digimon. Marill fired Bubble Beam, hitting him in the face.
"Here I come!" KoriIkakumon said, recalling his arrowheads. He then takes his two axes and held them up. "Avalance Axes!" He swings his axes, chopping Mammothmon into bits. Mammothmon then dissolves into bits of data.
Blossomon is sending her mini flowers at Kairi and May as they dodged. Kairi casts a crystal fire spell as May threw her Keyblade while it was surrounded by fire, hitting Blossomon on the mark. Zephyrmon flew up in the air.
"You think you puny little insects are any match for me?" Blossomon asked.
"I know we're more than a match for you, garden weed!" Zephyrmon said. "Hurricane Gale!" Zephyrmon flies up into the air and hurls the feathers of her hair and wings as pointed arrows. Blossomon is struck and dissolved into bits of data.
Parrotmon flew at JagerLoweemon as Brendan casts a fire spell, hitting the parrot-like Digimon.
"Nice shot, Brendan. See if you can bring that green canary down?" JagerLoweemon asked.
"Sure can!" Brendan said, casting a gravity spell. Parrotmon was brought down, much to the parrot Digimon's surprise.
"What did you just do?!" Parrotmon exclaimed.
"Just brought you down!" Brendan said, turning to JagerLoweemon. "Okay, JagerLoweemon, do your thing!"
"Right!" JagerLoweemon said. "Ebony Blast!" JagerLoweemon fires darkness at Parrotmon, hitting him. "Time for the finale! Dark Master!" JagerLoweemon charges at Parrotmon with his whole body surrounded by a dark aura. JagerLoweemon smashed right into him.
"Polly want a cracker," Parrotmon said before dissolving into bits of data.
Back with the fight with Sora, BurningGreymon, Pikachu, and Minotarumon, Sora casts a blizzard spell, but Minotarumon bats it away.
"It's going to take more than some of your magic tricks to take me out," Minotarumon said.
"How about this? Wildfire Tsunami!" BurningGreymon shouted as he sets his whole body aflame, then releases a high-temperature tornado by flapping the Fire Wings. Minotarumon is caught in the flames and he roared in searing pain. "How did you like that?" Minotarumon fell to his knees and laughed despite the pain.
"I gotta admit, I underestimated you. You should beware, humans, because there are other Digimon that are a whole lot worse than I am, and not one of them will let you live to see tomorrow. Soon, the Digital World and all of the other worlds will belong to us Digimon, and you will not stop us," Minotarumon said as he is dissolving.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sora asked. Minotarumon didn't answer him and he just laughed until he completely dissolved. The beast warriors just reverted back to their human selves and gathered along with the rest of the group.
"Just what did he mean by that?" Davis asked.
"I don't know, but whatever it is, it didn't sound like an empty threat," Hawkmon said.
"You think it could be Organization XIII pulling the strings here?" Lisia asked.
"I'm starting to think it's very likely, but we're gonna have to watch our step from here," Ash said.
Everyone agreed and they continued on their way.
Meanwhile, BlackGuilmon is coming along and he sniffs the air.
"They're getting close, I just know it," BlackGuilmon said, taking off after them.
A little later, they came to what looks like a town. There were all sorts of Digimon going about their daily routine. Also, there are some Porygon hovering by.
"Looks like we hit another town," Kris said.
"And if there's a town, there should be someplace we can sleep in," Max said.
"I don't know about that, Max. The Digital World is really different. There aren't any Pokémon Centers around here," Henry said.
"Henry's right. It's not like some random stranger could just walk up to you and say-" Terriermon was cut off.
"Excuse me," a voice said, making Terriermon flinch. They saw a levitating ghost covered in a white cloth that hides its true form, leaving only its mouth filled with sharp teeth to be seen. This Digimon is Bakemon. "I couldn't help but notice that you're travelers and you are in need of shelter for the night, yes?"
"You were saying, Terriermon?" Henry whispered.
"Hey, you were the one who opened your mouth first, Mr. I Don't Know About That," Terriermon retorted.
"Well, since you came along, we'll have to say yes, we are. We just came to town and we thought of having a place to rest," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"We had an exhausting day and we could use a rest," Naminé said.
"Of course. Follow me, please," the Bakemon said. The Bakemon floats ahead of them and the group follows him.
"Isn't anyone wondering why we're following a ghost who just happens to show up?" Riku asked.
"I'm with you, Riku. Something's fishy here," Ryo said.
They followed him right an old mansion just outside of town.
"So he has follow him to a haunted house. How original," Rika said.
"Well, he's a ghost Digimon, so what did you expect? One of those fancy hotels with a big indoor swimming pool?" Takuya asked.
"Well, not like the ones my mom books from time to time whenever she's out with her fashion shoots," Rika said.
"Well, it's better than nothing," JP said.
They walk up to the mansion and the doors opened by themselves. Once the entire group is inside, the door closes by themselves.
"Something tells me that it's not automatic," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pika," Xipak said.
"Um, just how many rooms do you have here?" Leaf asked.
"Enough for every one of you. And you're more than welcome to stay for as long as you want," Bakemon said.
"Now, hold on! What's the catch?" Bokomon asked.
"Oh, no catch. Why would you think there's a catch?" The Bakemon asked.
"For one thing, you just happen to find us when we arrived into town and then bring us to an old mansion just outside of town and have rooms that are conveniently available, so there has to be a catch or two," Bokomon said.
"You know, he's got something there. What are you up to?" Impmon asked.
"There's no catch. I'm only showing you some hospitality," the Bakemon said.
"If you're done, but I would like to show you to your rooms. You must be very tired from your journey," the Bakemon said. With that said, the group were showed to their rooms. The DigiDestined were paired with their Digimon partners with the exception of Takuya's team since Bokomon and Neemon weren't partnered with anyone. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Eevee, and Azurill were placed in one room as Ash and Leaf were placed in another, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, and Marill were placed in another, Brendan, May, Max, and Lisia were placed in another. "If you need anything, please, don't hesitate to ask."
"Thanks," Sora said, entering the room.
"Yeow!" Neemon cried. Mime Jr and Munchlax both chuckled. "How can you laugh at my misfortune?"
"It's because your mouth is bigger than your brain." - Mime Jr subtitle.
"But your mouth is nowhere near as big as mine." - Munchlax subtitle.
"I didn't understand what you just said," Neemon said.
"Now, if you excuse me, I have an important matter to attend to," the Bakemon said. He floats into his office and picked up a phone and dials it. He hears the other end ringing.
"Hello," a voice said, answering the phone.
"The DigiDestined has arrived. Not only them, but the Keyblade-wielding humans are with them," the Bakemon reported.
"Good. Keep them there until I get there," the voice said.
"Of course," the Bakemon said, hanging up. He came out as several other Bakemon came out of hiding. "The boss is on his way over here personally. Prevent them from leaving until he gets here."
"Sure thing," the other Bakemon said.
Meanwhile, there is a humanoid Digimon hanging up a phone. He has completely black clothing, fingers elongated into claws, devil's horns, tattered wings, and skulls on his shoulder and knee. He has the deep red Mark of Evil on his chest and on its left boot. He also wears belts around his lower torso, left leg, right upper arm and left forearm, gauze bandages around its right forearm and left hand, and a skin-tight balaclava that only reveals its mouth and red eyes. This Digimon is Digimon.
"The DigiDestined has returned, and my time for revenge will come," Devimon said. He took his leave and flew on.
Back at the mansion, Tai and Agumon sat on the bed.
"I'm so tired from all that walking, I think my blisters has blisters," Agumon said.
"Same here," Tai said, taking off his shoes. "I don't know how Ketchum does it when he's wearing those huge shoes of his."
Meanwhile, BlackGuilmon was still following the trail of the group.
"He's been here," BlackGuilmon said.
Back at the mansion, Kairi is brushing Celeste's fur when a knock came to the door.
"Yeah?" Sora asked.
"I thought I'd inform you that dinner will be ready momentarily," a voice said.
"We appreciate it," Kairi said.
"Should we wear something fancy?" Sora asked.
"That won't be necessary. Just come on down in about twenty minutes," the leading Bakemon said.
The leading Bakemon gave the thumbs up, letting the others know it's all go.
Twenty minutes later, the entire group stepped out of the rooms and they were being led to the dining room. When they came to the dining room, they saw there was no food in sight.
"Hey, where's the food?" Armadillomon asked.
"Hey, what's this about?" May asked.
Just then, the Bakemon appeared all around them.
"Sorry, but there's been a slight change in plans. Our boss is actually coming by and meeting up with you. So, you're not going anywhere!" The leading Bakemon said. The DigiDestined was about to take out their Digivices, but the Bakemon took out a device and canceled out the Digivolution, and they weakened Guardromon, Leomon, MarineAngemon, and Cyberdramon.
"Leomon!" Jeri gasped.
"MarineAngemon!" Kenta gasped.
"Guardromon!" Kazu gasped.
"Cyberdramon!" Ryo gasped.
"What did you just do?!" Henry asked.
"That's for me to know. And it won't even matter anyway," the leading Bakemon said.
"Dark Claw!" The Bakemon shouted, giving the Digimon a punch. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, and May summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Bakemon.
"Come and get it, ghoulies!" Sora said, smacking one of the Bakemon. Pikachu and Xipak fired a Thunderbolt, shocking them.
"Don't let up!" The leading Bakemon ordered. The other Bakemon rushes at the Keyblade wielders.
"They're everywhere," Kris said.
"Like Beedrill," Brendan said.
The Bakemon gave them all a punch with Dark Claw. The Keyblade wielders and the Pokémon fought back against them. Most of the Bakemon were destroyed. Guil rushes at the remaining Bakemon and fired a Flamethrower at them. The leading Bakemon gave the Charmeleon a punch with Dark Claw.
"Guil!" Takato gasped.
"Time to put your fire out for good!" The leading Bakemon said, but Guilmon came at him.
"You leave him alone!" Guilmon roared.
"Virus Breath!" A voice shouted. BlackGuilmon fired a green fireball at Bakemon, destroying them. Just then, BlackGuilmon came crashing from the ceiling.
"What the?" Takuya asked.
"Another Guilmon? He's a completely different color," Max said.
"Who are you?" Matt asked.
"I'm BlackGuilmon. I came all this way to find you, Guilmon!" BlackGuilmon snarled.
"Me? Why?" Guilmon asked.
"That's for me to know," BlackGuilmon said, rushing at Guilmon. "Rock Crusher!"
"Rock Breaker!" Guilmon shouted.
Both Guilmon and BlackGuilmon gave each other a punch with their claws. They skid backwards. They glare at each other and growled.
"Pyro Sphere!" Guilmon shouted.
"Virus Breath!" BlackGuilmon shouted.
Both Digimon fired their attacks at each other, causing an explosion. BlackGuilmon jumped through the smoke and gave him a smack, and Guilmon smacked him back.
"Guilmon!" Takato gasped.
"Charmeleon!" Guil said.
Takato and Guil tried to intervene, but they're stopped by Riku.
"No. This is his fight," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
Guilmon gained the upper hand, but BlackGuilmon quickly turned the tables on him. BlackGuilmon gave him a smack with his tail.
"Pyro Grenade!" BlackGuilmon roared, spitting out a powerful, explosive flame shot. Guilmon is hit by the attack, dealing some heavy damage. "Time to finish you off." BlackGuilmon was about to fire the finishing blow when Guilmon mustered the strength he had left and tackled his evil duplicate to the ground and gave him several scratches.
"Pyro Sphere!" Guilmon roared, firing his final attack at BlackGuilmon, hitting him and finishing him off. BlackGuilmon lost consciousness, but a purple vortex appeared and took BlackGuilmon with it.
"Where did that come from?" TK asked.
"I don't know," Zoe said.
"Something tells me that we're going to see him again," Riku said.
"You think so?" Jeri asked.
"I know so," Riku said.
"Well, the Bakemon are cleared out, so let's get out of here before any more of those ghostys show up," Veemon said.
"Veemon's right. We should make like a banana and split," Terriermon said.
With that said, the group retreated from the mansion before Devimon could arrive.
Meanwhile, BlackGuilmon arrived through the same kind of vortex. He opened his eyes.
"Where am I?" BlackGuilmon asked.
"In a secret location," a voice said. The voice belonged to a Digimon that greatly resembled Terriermon, but he's dark blue and has yellow stripes on the ears.
"BlackTerriermon?" BlackGuilmon asked.
"That's my name, don't ware it out. And it served you right for showing off like that," BlackTerriermon said.
"What I do is no one's business but my own," BlackGuilmon said.
"I have to disagree," another voice said. It sounded a bit more feminine. The voice belonged to a fox-like Digimon resembling Renamon, but she's silver. "You should study your enemy before you foolishly rush into battle."
"You think you know, Yokaimon?" BlackGuilmon scoffed.
"Look, the bosses sent us to deal with them, but you rushing without a plan wasn't a smart thing to do. It would have gotten you disintegrated," BlackTerriermon said.
"And now, because of you, we have lost the element of surprise," Yokaimon said.
"I got tired of waiting, alright?" BlackGuilmon asked.
"We'll have to accelerate our plan to fight them now because you got too anxious for your own good," BlackTerriermon said.
"Agreed. We must start at once," Yokaimon said.
