Brendan, May, Lisia, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Bokomon, and Neemon are falling and they land right on pile of leaves after being by Devimon's assault.
"Man, that's a four for style for that landing," Takuya said.
"At least we landed on something soft," Brendan said. He looked around and saw they were at a forest of some sort. "Where are we?"
"I don't know, but it looks pretty here," Lisia said.
"It sure is," Zoe agreed.
May was feeling guilty for not reaching for Max in time.
"Max," May said in her thoughts.
"We really don't have time to admire the scenery. We gotta find go and find the others," Koji said.
"Koji's right. My little brother is out there and I have no idea what kind of Digimon he could run into," May said.
"Right, Max was blown was Sora 2, Kairi, and Tai's team," JP pointed out.
"The others could be anywhere at this point, and they're probably already having the same problems as we are," Bokomon said.
"Well, other Digimon isn't our only problem. We also got Organization XIII, Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed," Brendan said.
"If we see them, we're gonna have to deal with them like we do with any other ememy," Takuya said.
"Takuya's right. They'll come for us one way or the other," Brendan said.
"Mime, Mime," Mime Jr said.
"Munchlax," Munchlax said.
"Munclax," Neemon said. Bokomon was about to snap Neemon, but he shook his head.
"No, that'll be too easy," Bokomon said.
So, Brendan, May, Lisia, the DigiDestined, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Bokomon, and Neemon wondered through the forest. They arrived to a village filled with some plant-like Digimon.
One Digimon resembles a cross between a flower and a lizard. They all have flower-like hands and root feet. They all have red flowers on their heads. These Digimon are known as Floramon.
Another resembles a white mushroom with black eyes and a purple pileus with yellow rings. They wore magenta gloves with a white skull and crossbones symbol and magenta boots. Both the gloves and boots are tied by black belts. These Digimon are known as Mushroomon.
"Hey, Mushroomon and Floramon," Neemon said.
"You know these Digimon?" Lisia asked.
"We actually do. When I met them before, Floramon were trying to plant their flowers, but three Mushroomon calling themselves the Mushroomon Brothers were causing trouble by destroying their flower gardens. I found my spirit and became Kazemon for the first time, but the Mushroomon Brothers Digivolved into a Woodmon, but I ended up being beaten," Zoe explained.
"Seriously?" Brendan asked.
"Seriously, because I was with her when it happened. Koji ended up whooping Woodmon and purifying him. They De-Digivolved back to Mushroomon after that," JP said.
"And of course, Takuya was making jokes about girls not becoming Digimon," Zoe said, glaring at Takuya, putting him on the spot.
"I said I was sorry! Let it go, will ya?!" Takuya exclaimed.
"How often do you bring it up to him?" Lisia asked.
"As much as I want," Zoe said, laughing. Koichi noticed May being quiet.
"You haven't said much of a word, May," Koichi pointed out.
"It's nothing. I just can't help but worry about Max so much," May said.
"I can understand, May. I would feel the same way if I was separated from Koji like with what happened earlier," Koichi said.
"I am never going to forgive Devimon for that. When I see him, I'm going to give him the spanking of a lifetime with my Keyblade!" May exclaimed.
The Floramon and Mushroommon noticed the group.
"We have visitors," one of the Floramon said.
"Welcome to the Village of Flowers," one of the Mushroomon greeted.
"We're glad to see you," Zoe said.
"It feels like it has been forever since we've seen you, Zoe," one of the Floramon said.
"And it looks like there are more Mushroomon than before," JP said.
"A lot of Mushroomon moved in shortly after you saved the Digital World," the first Mushroomon said.
"Ever since then, we have been living in peace, but that was until a gang of Kuwagamon took over the forest," the first Floramon said.
"Kuwagamon? Any idea what those are?" Lisia asked.
"Kuwagamon are vicious insect Digimon with bad attitudes. They're the natural born enemy of Kabuterimon," Bokomon said.
"Kinda like Zangoose and Seviper, right?" Brendan asked.
"That's one way to look at it," Tommy said.
"It's not unusual for them to live in the forest, but they never came to this part of the forest," Bokomon said.
"But, why would they come here now?" Takuya asked.
"That I don't know. The only time they ever move to a new territory is when searching for some new foraging grounds," Bokomon said.
"You don't think this has anything to do with Devimon, do you?" May asked.
"Unlikely," Bokomon said.
"They is a Digimon named Okuwamon who runs the show," Neemon said.
Unknown to anyone of them a red stag beetle-like with four arms. Its head is eyeless with black markings and a pair of long mandibles. It has a pair of large wing and a pair of elytra on its upper back. It has black muscle in the torso, arms, and legs. This Digimon is known as Kuwagamon. It flew back into the forest.
Meanwhile, over to a giant tree, the Kuwagamon flew in the tree and made it passed the other Kuwagamon. Inside the tree is a large gray stag beetle Digimon, greatly resembling Kuwagamon. It has two arms ending with hand clamp-like chela and four legs. Its head is eyeless with black hair and a pair of long mandibles. It has two pairs of large wings and a pair of elytra on its upper back. It has dark red markings all over its body and black muscle in the brachium of its arms and its calves. This Digimon is Okuwamon. Okuwamon was happily sipping some honey.
"This tastes delicious," Okuwamon said. The Kuwagamon came in.
"Boss! I just saw a group of humans over to the village," the Kuwagamon reported.
"What?! Humans at the village?! Those little weeds must have called for help!" Okuwamon snarled.
"What should we do, boss?" The Kuwagamon asked.
"What do you think, you idiot? Go down to the village and teach them a lesson!" Okuwamon said.
"Right, boss!" The Kuwagamon said. He left the chamber and gathered a squad of Kuwagamon and flew out to the village to launch their attack.
Back in the village, they saw so many flower gardens.
"They're very pretty," Lisia said, smiling. May was quiet.
"Why exactly are these Kuwagamon such a problem?" JP asked.
"Those Kuwagamon have arrived to the forest just a yesterday. We were going about our daily lives when Okuwamon and his gang of Kuwagamon arrived and they demanded that we would gather food for them whenever they wanted," the first Mushroomon said.
"When we refused, they said they'll be back and attack our village," the first Floramon said.
"That's just mean," Lisia said, frowning.
"We were planning on evacuating the village, but we're afraid because we thought they were watching us," the first Floramon said.
"In other words, you're too scared to run away," Koji said.
"Didn't you say they were foragers?" Brendan asked.
"I did. I have never heard of a Kuwagamon unwilling to forage for food. Talk about lazy," Bokomon said.
"Mime," Mime Jr said.
"Munchlax," Munchlax said.
They hear the sound of buzzing.
"Hey, what's that?" Neemon asked.
"Oh, no! It's the Kuwagamon!" The first Mushroomon gasped.
Hearing the buzzing, all the Floramon and Mushroomon rush back to their homes and locked the doors.
"Here they come," JP said.
"And we're ready for them," Brendan said, summoning his Keyblade. May summoned hers, too.
"Lisia, you may want to hide with the Floramon and Mushroomon," May suggested.
"Okay," Lisia said. She took off along with Bokomon, Neemon, Mime Jr, and Munchlax and hid.
"Okay, let's do this thing!" Takuya said.
"Right!" Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi agreed. They took out their Digivices and held them up.
"Execute! Spirit Evolution!" Takuya, Koichi, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi shouted as they transformed into their humanoid forms.
"Agunimon!"
"Lobomon!"
"Beetlemon!"
"Kazemon!"
"Kumamon!"
"Loweemon!"
The Kuwagamon flew down to them as May begins with a balloon spell, hitting one of the Kuwagamon. The others lands on the ground to begin their attack. The group rushed at the Kuwagamon as they clamped their mandibles.
"Scissor Hands!" The Kuwagamon roared when they went after them.
"I don't think so!" Brendan said, smacking one of the Kuwagamon.
Agunimon, "Pyro Darts!"
Beetlemon, "Thunder Fist!"
Lobomon, "Howling Laser!"
Kumamon, "Crystal Freeze!"
Kazemon, "Hurricane Wave!"
Lobomon, "Shadow Meteor!"
The Legendary Warriors launched their attacks at the Kuwagamon as May threw her Keyblade, striking one and pushing some of the other Kuwagamon back. May then casts a spark spell, shocking them. The small squad dissolved into bits of data.
The Kuwagamon still came at them as Kazemon spins around.
"Tempest Twist!" Kazemon shouted, doing a handstand and unleashes a whirlwind kick. The attacking Kuwagamon are struck. One of them came for her as Kazemon. "Love Tap!" Kazemon tapped him in the face with her rump, infatuating him.
"I love you! I love you!" The Kuwagamon flirted.
"Sorry, hun, but that love won't ever bear fruit," Kazemon said, kneeling him. The Kuwagamon fell backwards and the attraction wore off.
"Huh? What just happen?" The Kuwagamon asked.
Loweemon jabbed one with his spear as Lobomon swings his sabers as Kumamon shot snowballs at them. Beetlemon rammed into one as Agunimon uppercuts one as Kazemon gave on a strong kick. May casts a thunder spell on the Kuwagamon. Brendan'sL Keyblade emits fire and he smacked the Kuwagamon with it. Seeing that it's a losing battle, the Kuwagamon began to retreat.
"Yeah, you better run!" Brendan called out as the Legendary Warriors revert back to their human forms as Lisia, Bokomon, Neemon, Mime Jr, Munchlax, the first Floramon, and the first Mushroomon came out from hiding.
"They're not going to stop their assault on the Floramon and the Mushroomon. Those Kuwagamon will be back," Koji pointed out.
"He's right. Okuwamon won't take this laying down," the first Floramon said.
"Not if we take the fight to him," May said. Everyone all looked at May.
"You sure about this, May?" Zoe asked.
"Koji did say they won't stop, so the only way Okuwamon and those Kuwagamon will stop is when they're stopped," May said.
"May's right. Those bugs won't back off," Bokomon said.
"Mime Jr," Mime Jr said.
"But we don't know where to look where to look. It's not we can find them just by looking," Neemon said.
"Munchlax," Munchlax said.
"This is one of the moments that you could be right about something, Neemon. That forest is rather huge, so it'll be looking for a needle in a continent-sized haystack," Bokomon said.
"Maybe the Digimon who lives in the forest would tell us," Tommy said.
"That would be easier said than done since the Kuwagamon might have intimidated them, Tommy," Koichi said.
"It'll be worth a shot, Koichi. If Sora 2 or any of the others were here, he wouldn't let them get away with any of this," Takuya said.
"Takuya's right. We gotta head for the forest and find their hideout," Brendan said.
With that said, Brendan, May, Lisia, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Bokomon, and Neemon started to head for the forest to find the location of Okuwamon's hideout. As they were walking, they are being watched by a tree-like Digimon. It looked like it's broken in half. It has stump-like arms and two smaller arms, and four root-like feet. This Digimon is Woodmon.
"Doesn't anyone have a bad feeling about this?" Lisia asked.
"I am. I can sense something nearby, and it has its eyes on us," Brendan said.
"So can I. It might come out at any moment," May said.
"The one thing that could fit the description would be Woodmon," Bokomon said.
"What do you know about Woodmon?" Brendan asked.
"Well, Woodmon are Digimon that pretends to be trees and steals energy from unsuspecting Digimon to sustain themselves," Bokomon said.
"That does sounds scary," May said.
"Well, their whole bodies are made of wood, so their natural enemies are fire elemental Digimon like Birdramon, so their bodies catches fire very easily. But Woodmon are no laughing matter. They're one of the Digimon you do NOT wanna come across," Bokomon said. Just then, Mime Jr yelped when something grabbed it. Munchlax, Bokomon, and Neemon were grabbed by the same something. They turned around and saw a bunch of Woodmon. Four of them were holding Bokomon, Neemon, Mime Jr, and Munchlax.
"Woodmon!" Zoe exclaimed.
"There's a lot of them," Lisia said.
"Let go of them, you walking pile of splinters, or I'll chop you into firewood!" Brendan said, summoning his Keyblade. May summoned hers, too. She smacked the one holding Mime Jr and then one holding Munchlax. Brendan smacked the one holding Neemon and the one holding Bokomon.
"Time for a rematch!" Zoe said, taking out her Digivice and begins to Spirit Evolve. "Execute! Spirit Evolution!" Wind gathers around Zoe, forming a pink tornado until Kazemon emerges from inside. "Kazemon!"
"Get her!" One of the Woomon shouted. The others all went for her.
"Branch Bash!" Some of the Woodmon shouted.
"Tempest Twist!" Kazemon shouted, doing a handstand and unleashes a whirlwind kick. The Woodmon were hit by the kicks. The Woodmon were holding their ground.
"I'm going to back you up, Zoe!" Takuya said.
"Takuya, wait! We're in a forest! You might cause a forest fire!" Lisia said.
"She's right, Takuya. I think I'll cool things down," Tommy said, taking out his Digivice and begins to Spirit Evolve. "Execute! Spirit Evolution!" Tommy is surrounded by crystallized ice. The ice shattered as Kumamon came out to join Kazemon. "Kumamon!" He aims at the Woodmon. "Blizzard Blaster!" Kumamon fires snowballs at the Woodmon, hitting them. "I got your back, you guys!"
"Thanks for the hand!" May said.
"Now, let's handle these guys," Brendan said. Brendan and May casts a double blizzard spell, hitting the Woodmon. More just showed up. "Man, for a bunch of tree stumps, they're persistent."
"We're gonna have to wrap this up quickly," Kazemon said. "Kazemon Slide Evolution... Zephyrmon!" She flew upwards. "Hurricane Gale!" Zephyrmon unleashed a stronger wind attack, blowing some of the Woodmon in it. Seeing that it was a losing battle, they began to run as one of them is too afraid to run.
"Please, stay back! Don't hurt me anymore," Woodmon pleaded.
"Relax, we're not going to attack you anymore," Brendan said as he dismissed his Keyblade. "See?" May dismissed hers, too as Zephyrmon and Kumamon reverted back to human. "Why were you attacking us?"
"We just needed energy. But why are you here?" Woodmon asked.
"We're here to send an Okuwamon and a gang of Kuwagamon away," Tommy said.
"Because they're terrorizing a village of Floramon and Mushroomon," Lisia said.
"Is that it? You're gonna clear those guys out? Why didn't you say so?" Woodmon asked. Everyone just looked at him puzzled. "I know where they hang out."
"You do?" May asked.
"Where are they?"JP asked.
"They made themselves comfortable in the biggest tree in the forest. I can take you there myself," Woodmon said. Woodmon begins to lead them. Cautious of the wood Digimon's intentions, they followed him through the forest. They kept following him until they reached the tree. "That's the tree they call home. I haven't been here since yesterday, and I planned on keeping it that way until you came along."
"Are you sure this is the tree?" May asked. Brendan took out a pair of binoculars and looked through them. He saw two Kuwagamon standing guard at an opening.
"It's the tree alright. I see two Kuwagamon standing guard. And I don't think they're just gonna let us walk right in," Brendan said, lowering his binoculars.
"Because they'll nab us as soon as they see us," Koji said.
"There's gotta be another place we gotta get in from," Koichi said. Brendan looked through his binoculars and he saw there was another hole in the tree.
"I just found one. I can see it over there," Brendan said, pointing to the hole. "It's not guarded by anyone and we can slip in without them seeing us."
"That's convenient," Neemon said.
"There could be more Kuwagamon inside it," Lisia said.
"We're gonna have to deal with them when we see them," Takuya said.
"Along with the boss bug himself," May said.
"Okay, we get in and deal with anything that comes our way," Brendan said.
"You do that. I'm outta here. I don't want to be reduced to splinters by Okuwamon when he sees me," Woodmon said, running away.
"I think he's more afraid of Okuwamon than of us," Tommy said.
"Well, Okuwamon is a stronger Digimon than Kuwagamon, so we're gonna have to be careful going in," Bokomon said.
"Mime, Mime," Mime Jr said.
"Munch," Munchlax said.
"Let's go," Brendan said.
With that said, Brendan, May, Lisia, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Bokomon, and Neemon heads right for the hole at the tree. Once they reached it, they head inside. They saw how roomy inside.
"Wow, it looked so much smaller outside. It's like a shopping mall in here," May said.
"Those Kuwagamon could ambush us at any moment, so keep your eyes peeled," Koji said.
"That must hurt," Neemon said.
"You wanna start that again?!" Bokomon said, snapping Neemon's pants again.
"Ouchies!" Neemon cried.
"Shh!" Everyone all said.
They were sneaking quietly through the tree, being careful not being seen by the Kuwagamon. They managed to keep their cool until JP accidentally bumped into one. The Kuwagamon turned to see them.
"You again! You found us! Humans in the tree!" The Kuwagamon yelled. Soon, the rest of the Kuwagamon came out and flew from where they were occupying. Brendan and May summoned their Keyblades to engage the Kuwagamon as Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi began to Spirit Evolve.
"Execute! Spirit Evolution!" Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, and Koichi began to transform.
"Agunimon!"
"Lobomon!"
"Beetlemon!"
"Kazemon!"
"Kumamon!"
"Loweemon!"
Lisia took out her Pokéball and threw it.
"Ali! Go!" Lisia called out. Ali came out with a majestic cry. Lisia got on Ali's back.
"Come and get some, beetle-boys!" Agunimon yelled. "Pyro Punch!" Agunimon lands a fiery punch onto one of them.
"Frozen Tundra!" Kumamon shouted, turning his whole body to an icicle. He jabs into one of the Kuwagamon.
"Ali! Use Dazzling Gleam!" Lisia ordered. Ali unleashed a Dazzling Gleam, hitting some of the Kuwagamon.
"Shadow Meteor!" Loweemon shouted, firing his attack at the Kuwagamon.
"Lobo Kendo!" Lobomon shouted, hitting one of the Kuwagamon. Brendan and May struck a couple of Kuwagamon as Beetlemon came at one.
"Thunder Fist!" Beetlemon shouted, landing a punch, emitting lightning.
"Hurricane Wave!" Kazemon shouted, unleashing her wind attack and hitting the Kuwagamon.
They started to make their way through the tree, knocking out any Kuwagamon that came their way.
"More just keep coming," Lisia said.
"I can take care of that!" Kumamon said. "Kumamon Slide Evolution..." Kumamon jumped up and transformed. "Korikakumon!" He lands on his feet and readies his axes. "Avalanche Axes!" Korikakumon swings his two axes, sending the Kuwagamon flying.
"Thanks for clearing the way, Korikakumon," Lisia said.
"Not a problem," Korikakumon said.
"It's a great idea anyway," Beetlemon said as he begins to slide evolve. "Beetlemon Slide Evolution... MetalKabuterimon!" The Kuwagamon looked up as MetalKabuterimon plowed right through the red beetles. "Coming through!"
Meanwhile, Okuwamon hears the commotion and comes out his chamber.
"What is going on?!" Okuwamon demanded.
"Invaders in the tree, Okuwamon! It's the same group that bested us back at the village!" The Kuwagamon reported.
"Then, I'll crush them before I settle the score," Okuwamon said, flying to the fight.
Speaking of which, May casts a stone spell, pelting the Kuwagamon as Brendan threw his Keyblade while emitting ice, hitting one and destroying him.
"We got them on the ropes now!" Brendan said.
"I wouldn't be so certain if I were you!" A voice said. Hearing the voice, everyone looked up and saw Okuwamon flying down at them.
"Oh no! It's Okuwamon!" Bokomon gasped.
"So, you're the bunch that's been causing me some trouble. After I crush you like a ripe grape, I'll take my forces to the village and crush it just to show them what happens to anyone who challenges me!" Okuwamon said.
"Not unless we stop you first," Agunimon said as he, Lobomon, Kazemon, and Loweemon started to slide evolve.
"Agunimon/Lobomon/Kazemon/Lobomon Slide Evolution..."
"BurningGreymon!"
"KendoGarurumon!"
"Zephyrmon!"
"JagerLoweemon!"
"Ali! Use Draco Meteor!" Lisia ordered. Ali unleashed Draco Meteor and the meteorites came down and struck Okuwamon and the Kuwagamon.
"Impressive, but I barely even felt that," Okuwamon said. "Double Scissor Claw!" Okuwamon reached for Ali.
"Look out!" Bokomon exclaimed as May saved her by throwing her Keyblade at his claw.
"That actually hurt. You're gonna pay for that, you puny human!" Okuwamon roared. May ran ran up to his arm as Okuwamon tried to get her off of him. "Come here, you!"
"I don't think so!" May said, smacking Okuwamon in the face. He roared in anger.
"Ali! Dazzling Gleam!" Lisia ordered. Ali unleashed Dazzling Gleam at Okuwamon, hitting him as Brendan casts a thunder spell, hitting him, too.

The Legendary Warriors unleashed their attacks onto Okuwamon, dealing some heavy damage onto him. May jumped forward and she jammed her Keyblade into Okuwamon's face, stabbing him. Okuwamon roared in pain as Okuwamon was dissolving into bits of data. Seeing that they have lost, all of the remaining Kuwagamon have begun to retreat and left the tree.
"I don't know about you, but I think I liked our old home better!" One of the Kuwagamon said.
"Yeah, me too!" Another Kuwagamon said.
May managed to catch her breath, tired from the effort and energy it took to defeat him. The Legendary Warriors reverted back to human.
"May, that was awesome," JP said.
"You gave that bug a squishing he won't forget," Zoe said.
"Thanks, everyone," May said.
"So now Okuwamon and his gang are gone, there's no reason to stay in this tree anymore," Koichi said.
"No, but the good news is the Floramon and the Mushroomon will no longer be afraid to step out of their houses," Zoe said.
"Indeed not. We should inform of the good news," Bokomon said.
With that said, they made their way back to the village. The Floramon and the Mushroomon were happy to hear that Okuwamon was gone, and the Kuwagamon have fled.
"We are grateful to you for your help," the first Mushroomon said.
"It's thanks to you, our is safe from those bugs," the first Floramon said.
"You don't need to thank us. We were just glad to help," Brendan said.
"Now, we just gotta go and find our friends," May said.
"May's right. They gotta be doing the same thing for us," Koichi said.
"Well, it was great seeing you again," Zoe said.
"But we'll be sure to drop in again, sometime," Lisia said.
With that said, Brendan, May, Lisia, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Mime Jr, Munchlax, Bokomon, and Neemon said their goodbyes to the Floramon and Mushroomon and took their leave of the village to find their friends. May wondered where her brother could be.
Meanwhile, Devimon is sitting a throne as a DemiDevimon is standing before him.
"So, they did survive. Not only that, but they defeated Megadramon, Gigadramon, WaruMonzaemon, and now Okuwamon," Devimon said.
"Yes. And they're already off to find each other as we speak," DemiDevimon said.
"Go make sure that they don't. Send out Orochimon to finish them off this time," Devimon ordered.
"Right," DemiDevimon said, flying off.
Meanwhile, there are four kids wondering the Digital World as well.
One is tall, skinny boy with brown hair, and viridian eyes. He wore a pair of round glasses, a dark green shirt, light gray shorts, white socks, and black shoes. He holds a D-Tector-style Digivice that is dark green and black.
Another is a short, round boy with messy brown hair and indigo eyes. He wore a brown vest, a yellow shirt, brown shorts, and brown shoes. He holds a D-Tector-style Digivice that is brown and orange.
Another is a girl with red hair and violet eyes. She wore a light blue shirt that shows off her navel, a light blue skirt, white socks, and light blue shoes. She holds a D-Tector-style Digivice that is aqua and dark blue.
And the the fourth kid is a boy who has black hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue baseball cap, blue overalls, and white sneakers. He holds a D-Tector-style Digivice that is tan and brown.
