Hi guys, I'm back sooner than I expected. Ok before we get started I have to share some bad news. Unfortunately, my beta reader SilviaS7 has not responded for a while, I suppose she's busy, which is understandable since we all have lives outside of this site. Making fanfictions is fun but it is non-profit so we need to get our priorties straight first. So we'll see how I do without her help. Hopefully there won't be too many mistakes.
Anyway I have been reading other fan fictions to inspire me with new ideas, and it really helped. It helped so much I feel I should recommend them.
Dragonball Future Generations by ZeroAlva- it's a story where Goten is born in the future timeline before Trunks, Gohan is training Trunks and Goten to one day fight the androids. The surprises don't stop there, he also trains someone else, who I wont say so read his story to take a good look. I warn you though it is not a T/18 story, so she's likely just going to die with 17 in there. But I still recommend it because he has some original and good ideas.
The Legacy of Mirai Gohan by RoxaShadow- This is a story that also takes place in the future timeline. If your a big fan of Future Gohan then this is recommended for you as well, here is where Gohan doesn't die and there is no time machine. It has many surprises you won't see coming, I highly recommended if you like surprises. Be warned though, it has 18 looking like a real bitch. The author likely believes the future Androids were evil too, not that I'm complaining. So it's not a T/18 story either, but still an interesting read. But if you don't like the idea of reading 18 being evil and actually justifying herself, than feel free to stay here with me. This story inspired me to make a surprise of my own, it'll be a while before you guess the next villain. If there's a villain. ;)
Ok now for the fun part let's start.
Move on?
The earth, it's time of terror has finally come to pass, it has been a year since the defeat of Super Android 13, over a year since the defeat and rebirth of 17 and 18. Society has been returning to normal bit by bit, slowly but surely order is being restored. People live their lives with no fear of the controlled 17 or 18, no more hiding in cramped shelters, no more needing to scavenge food from destroyed cities, any and all remaining bandits have been either jailed or moved on to a more civilized way of life. It would seem that there are no more threats that will come to earth, not with warriors willing to ensure this.
In capsule corporation, the ship that was used to go to Namek is being used for training. Inside is Trunks who has grown a couple inches during the past year, still sporting his short lavender hair, he wears Saiyan armor like his father's designed by Bulma, he has spent this whole year training, day and night willing to protect the peace that was long over due. In front of him is someone he accepted as a friend during their sparring sessions. Trunks put his hands at his sides and yelled making his hair spikey gold, emerald eyes completing his Super Saiyan transformation. The warrior then took his master's turtle demon hybrid stance. " Ready 16?" He asked.
Android 16 stood looking the same only with the capsule logo on wear the red ribbon used to be, he took a stance as well looking at his sparring partner. "Yes" He said simply in his robotic tone. During their time Trunks realized that 16 had taken a liking to nature just as he himself did. At first he had a hard time trusting the Android, but after realizing how much 16 loves nature and being free of his programming Trunks began sparring with the metal warrior able to push himself.
Trunks scanned for weaknesses in his opponents stance, seeing that there are none, he thought back to what Gohan would say to him. 'If you can't find a weak point then make one.' The Super Saiyan charged at 16 and tried to kick the side of the Android's head. The tall Android raised his right arm to simply block it and threw a punch causing him to block. The hybrid cringed at the force as he was pushed back, he managed to catch himself before hitting the wall only for 16 to appear in front of him throwing another punch forcing him to dodge.
Android 16 kept throwing multiple attacks at Trunks with no restraint, despite his mother requesting him to take it easy, Trunks would refuse and demand him to fight all out. The Android would only if he is allowed to stop if the spar could go too far. Trunks was forced to focus on dodging the Android's strikes, unable to even think about strategizing, he barely sways the attacks coming at him, he can feel the wind from the attacks as they were swayed. Trunks throught he saw an opening and threw a punch only for 16 to punch his face forcing him to slam against the metal floor with his face.
Trunks put his hands on the ground, getting up, if he hadn't been using his energy his nose sure would have been broken. The Super Saiyan stood up and took his stance only to see 16 turning around. "16 where are you going?" He asked afraid of his answer.
Android 16 turned around and looked at him. "The sparring is over, I prefer not to worry your mother." He stated without hesitating as he opened the hatch.
The Demi-Saiyan watched his friend leave him in the capsule ship alone. *Pant* *Pant*The Super Saiyan looks at his hands and snarls with anguish. With a frustrated growl he punches the ground. "Darn it!" He yelled. "I'm so close, I know it!"
Day and night he would train, pushing to his limits and beyond. The young warrior eventually caught up and surpassed Gohan from what he remembered. It was an unbelievable feeling really, surpassing Gohan seemed impossible from the day he trained him, he managed to surpass the Androids, or so he thought until 16 informed him that they too were training, and also were free of some restraints that held their power back. That would explain how they appeared faster when they all fought 13. He was still behind them that day and today. He realized that he hit a wall. He couldn't get stronger, and if he did it was only by a minor difference. His fear is that he reached his limit, and he couldn't get stronger. He shook his head and decided that he needed some air.
Trunks stepped out of the ship and floated on top of it, he can see the rest of West City from here. The adults going to work, the children playing in the playground, everyone going there daily lives. A smile adorned on his face as he watched, he then frowned. 'No I can't give up.' The warrior thought as he clenched his fists. These people have suffered enough from him being weak. One way or another he will get stronger, he will find away to go through this wall, to no longer fear another enemy. 'We wanted this peace for so long, I will do what I have to, to keep it.' He thought as he jumped down the ship and got in, closing the door. 'I will get stronger, any more threats that come to earth will get more than their bargained for.' He thought as he turned the gravity chamber up to 500x earth's gravity. The warrior then threw punches and kicks, continuing his training.
He is not the only warrior training to keep the peace.

Far off in a secluded area near a town, there are two formally manipulated Cyborgs. There is a home with Capsule corporation on it, next to it is a dome about the same size with twins having another of their sparring sessions.
Android 18 charges at 17, who backflips as she gets closer, when she was close enough he kicked her up her chin sending her back. Android 17 then threw a yellow energy blast at her causing it to explode on impact, he smirked as his sister hit the ground. "Well guess it's my win 18."
18 was already up on one knee. "Whatever 17, next time I will." She sais as she stood up.
17 chuckled. "Hey who cares about next time, let's fight right now, only for real instead of these silly sparring sessions." He suggested thinking of how fun the challenge would be.
She rolled her eyes. "17 if you and I ever fought for real it probably would never end."
"We won't know until we try, we'll make a game out of it." He offered.
18 began walking out the door. "Forget it 17, I'm going to go shower."
17 sighed with disappointment. "Oh well maybe next time."
In the shower 18 was letting her mind wander like she would after her training sessions. 'It's been a year.' She thought as she was enjoying the hot water. It's been a whole year since she last saw Trunks and his mother. The Cyborg was glad that Bulma gave her and 17 their own home. Now they can enjoy their lives peacefully just like they wanted. 'If only it were like this from the beginning.' She thought cringing at her memories. 18 opened her eyes and turned off the water. The cyborg removed the curtains and started dressing.
The attire she wore was the same as her original outfit, only with the red ribbon insignia removed and replaced with the Capsule Corporation logo on it. The Cyborg looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. 'It was nice of Bulma to give us a new set of clothes.' She thought as she walked out of the room. 18 looked around to see no sign of 17, she did not question it as he probably went off to work whenever he wasn't training. The Cyborg simply shrugged, grabbed her purse and out the door.
18 flew up and over to the town nearby, she made sure she wasn't seen and landed into an alley with no one seeing her. She walked out with no one saying a thing, she wore her usual face as she kept walking but on the inside she was happy to be living like this. No one was running from her, every now and then there would be someone eyeing her, it was irritating but it was better than them fearing her. The enhanced human was happy to live this life of peace, her and 17's revival may have been accidental but she was grateful for Bulma giving them this second chance.
Both her and 17 have trained over the past year getting stronger over the past year. It's a shame she doesn't exactly how much stronger she's gotten, if only Dr Gero had the brains to give them energy sensors like 16. Then again she wasn't mechanical like he was, she will get stronger to protect earth, her brother, Bulma, and Trunks. She promised a year ago and she's going to keep that promise.

Back in Capsule corporation in Bulma's lab, the scientist is still working on the new time machine. It was tough to get supplies with the world's current state of recovery, but she would work on what she can no matter how long it would take she will get it finished. "Phew." She said as she took a drink of her tea. "A whole year and it's still not finished."
"Perhaps you are working too hard." 16 said standing by her.
Bulma looked at the Android. "More like too slow, the longer this takes the longer that thing's been there."
16 nodded. "Yes but you are only human, you should rest while you can." The machine began. "Trunks worries for you, you've been busy helping restore order to the world and on your free time working on this, you need to rest."
The scientist sighed irritably. "I don't think I should."
"You say that Cell went to the past during a time when Goku and his friends were alive, perhaps it's presence will alter it for the better." The robot suggested.
Bulma shook her head. "That's a lot to gamble on, but I do have an idea on how to make sure." She said as she grabbed her wrench. "The problem is it would take time even more time I have that could be used to get this working."
The Android held up a piece of the time machine on it as Bulma melded it into place. "I have a suggestion."
Bulma looked at him. "What is it?"
"It has been a year since you used the dragonballs, perhaps you can use it to speed up the process." The machine suggested.
The woman was tempted by the idea but shook her head. "We just got back the dragonballs and we want to only use them for emergencies, what if a new threat approaches after we make the wish?" She asked as she worked. "Well have to wait a year and the dragonballs can only revive anyone who died in the past year." She stated sadly. "With all the threats that came we can't take any chances."
16 nodded agreeing with her, the machine still worries for her. If it wasn't for Bulma he wouldn't have his new body, he decided that he will do what he can to repay her and her son. "This other idea, have you started on it?" He asked.
Bulma nodded. "I have the blueprints ready but I realize that it would take too long so we have to keep on working with the time machine." She stated.
16 let go of the giant piece of the time machine and nodded unable to think of any other suggestion.
The scientist kept working then an idea popped in her head. "Well the dragon gives us two wishes, maybe we can use one wish and save the other." She said as she put her hand under her chin. She shook her head as she kept working. "I'll have Trunks go ask Dende later right now I need to keep working just in case."
The Android handed her vital pieces of the time machine and holding up the heavy ones in place as she melded them.
Bulma smiled at the Android. "You don't have to worry I won't be working tomorrow, I have plans that doesn't involve the time machine for the day." She said to the concerning Android.
16 though a machine allowed a smile to form knowing that she will rest for once.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
Trunks was done with training for the day, unable to sustain his transformation he walks out of the ship covered in sweat. The young warrior dries the sweat off with a towel and drinks a water bottle until it was empty. He opens the door to his home and sees Bulma with a table filled with all sorts of food ready for him. "Mom, you really shouldn't make dinner, you have enough work as it is." He said with worry.
Bulma shook her head. "Trunks I thought I told you, no amount of work is going to keep me from having food ready for you."
He sighed. "Yeah but still."
"But nothing now eat." She demanded.
Trunks sighed and sat down. Immediately he began wolfing down the food laid out in front of him as Bulma took her seat and ate her one plate.
Bulma would have scolded Trunks for eating like this, but after years with him he just couldn't stop. 'Just like his father.' She thought remembering the arrogant man. 'Now to tell him.' She said as she sighed. "Trunks I decided that tomorrow I'll hold off on the time machine for the day."
Trunks stopped eating and looked to Bulma. "That's great mom, you really need a break." The demi-Saiyan said. Ever since she was working on the time machine she rarely got any breaks when she wasn't sleeping or eating, she would be working which was really stressful for her, despite her hiding it. He offered to be taught how to create the time machine, but she told him that would take even more time then it would take her to make it herself. That it was best if she kept working on it and he focuses on training.
The scientist continued. "Also I thought that maybe we should have a little party and invite our friends over." She said chuckling.
The lavender head smiled. "That's great, it's been awhile since I last saw Master Roshi, Chi-Chi and the others." He said happy at the thought.
Bulma gulped. 'Now the hard part.' She thought as she out put her hands on the table. "I uh also included 17 and 18." She said awkwardly. The woman expected him to get angry at the thought but instead all she saw was her son frowning and looking down. She walked over to him and held his shoulders. "Trunks, it's been a year I thought that it was time to move on, don't you?" She asked, not getting a response she continued. "We know it wasn't their fault, don't you think it's time for us to except them as part of our group?" She asked looking at her son's avoiding gaze.
Trunks didn't say anything, he only gently grabbed his mother's hands and put them off of him. The son of Vegeta stood up and began walking out the door. "I'm going out for a while." He said as he was out and flew off.
She watched her son go and sighed. "Take your time." She said even though she knew he couldn't hear her. 'Maybe it was too soon.'
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
Android 18 arrives home with her bags of many clothing that she purchased, she opened the door to see 17 there hanging his coat. "Back already?"
17 shrugged. "There weren't any poachers around today, so I went hunting for a bit." He said as he looked at the bags. "Geez I'm glad I was out today, still looking for something to impress your boyfriend huh?" He teased as usual.
18 rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up." She said as she was walking to her room.
"Well you might want to decide what your going to wear, we might be going somewhere tomorrow." He said casually.
She turned around. "What are you blabbing about now?"
He pulled out a letter and tossed it to her. "Bulma invited us to her place with some friends of hers, I thought maybe you should decide if we go or not."
18 opened the letter to see that it was indeed what he said, she sighed thinking of it. "Why would you want to go?"
17 shrugged. "Don't know, ranging this park has been a slow job lately, I thought maybe I needed a break, but I think you should choose if we go or not." He said putting his hands behind his head.
The female Cyborg wasn't sure what to think at the moment, she walked to her room and placed the letter on her desk. She then walked to the door. "I'm going out." She said as she flew off.
Her brother closed the door behind her and shrugged. "Guess were not going then." He said as he walked to the T.V.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
18 flew to a random direction not sure where she was going. A sigh escaped her lips thinking of the party Bulma was going to have, it was definitely something to think about. Should she go, or shouldn't she? Trunks might be there, or not. Does he forgive her and 17? It's been a year since he last saw them, maybe he's finally accepted that it wasn't their fault. If he doesn't she wouldn't blame him. He sees her and 17 as ruthless killers. She can still remember everything she did during her programmed as if it was yesterday.
All the screaming, the blood, killing his friends, his father, and so many others. Can he forgive her? If so should she go? The Cyborg stopped and looked to clear blue sky. Would Trunks forgive her after all that? She closed her eyes deep in thought, the Cyborg remembers her time in other world.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
18 found herself waiting in line, angry that she couldn't find 17. The Cyborg couldn't fly for some reason, and also the line was quite long. She was forced to flicking the halo floating over her head to alleviate her boredom a bit. She thougth of just blasting everyone else in line but for some reason she couldn't do it. After what seemed like an eternity she was at the end of the line in what looked like a palace. She looked up to see a big red guy with a long beard with a desk fitting for his size. "Where am I, and where is my brother?" She demanded angrily.
The giant looked down at her. "Hmm, Android 18, or is it Cyborg 18?" He asked. "No matter, this is otherworld where the souls of the dead go, like you and 17."
The platinum blonde cringed as he said that, remembering her death at the hands of the brat. "Shut up already and send me to hell." She demanded.
The ogre sighed. "I would if you were going there." He said earning a raised eyebrow. "I want you to try to remember your life before dying, whatever you can remember."
18 rolled her eyes. "Why should I?" She asked annoyed.
"Hmm, do you not want to remember?" He asked curious.
The Cyborg glared at the ogre. "Shut up."
King Yemma continued. "Do you regret anything?"
"Shut...up." She said with warning in her tone, this time wincing as if in pain.
He sighed. "Like your brother you hesitate, do you remember everything you did in your time as an Android?"
"I SAID SHUT UP!" 18 yelled tears coming out of her eyes, the Cyborg remembers everything, every victim every plead. She couldn't help as her memories rushed through her mind which she suppressed during her time here. She looked up at him with an angry look. "You! Your DOING THIS AREN'T YOU?!" She yelled aiming her hand at him, focusing her energy. To her surprise nothing came, she looked at her hand and glared at the ogre with tears down her cheeks.
King Yemma sighed as he looked at her. "Your powers come from an unnatural source so you are without your cybernetics in this realm." He explained.
Unable to do anything 18 got to her knees and felt sick to her stomach as she thought of every victim. "W-why am I feeling this way?" She asked wanting it to stop. "I-I was happy when I-" She stopped as if she couldn't bring herself to say it.
The red giant began to talk. "Android 18, what your feeling is what you would have felt if you and your brother weren't programmed by Dr Gero."
18's eyes shook at this. "Impossible, we killed him, we were programmed to do as he said and that didn't stop us." She tried to reason. "How's that any different?!"
"Yes you did kill him, but he was also human, and he created you and 17 to wipe out all human life on the planet, Dr Gero himself was human, I believe it was a loophole if you will." He said closing his eyes. "You and your brother thought you were in control and just hated humans but that was not the case, you never had a choice."
The platinum blonde just looked down ashamed that she couldn't control that accursed programming, she thought she could resist it but she was wrong. She never hated humans, never wanted to hurt anyone. That was the truth. The brat, no Trunks, the one who killed her brought her here to her senses.
King Yemma sighed at this complicated predicament. "Your brother is waiting outside, if you wish you can join him, we requested that we take his body in order for none of the humans who were killed question his presence, would you do the same?"
18 looked up at the ogre and nodded.
The ogre stamped his seal of approval and 18's body faded away turning into a spirit.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
18 opened her eyes and sighed at the memory. She spent a while in heaven with her brother avoiding every other spirit, especially the Z-fighters whenever she spotted them, or anyone else they killed, always keeping to themselves. No different than how it was when they were brought back, the wish may have erased their image of the world, but Trunks and his friends still remember.
'Should I go?' She thought. She will need more time to think.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
Trunks flew off to a place he's all too familiar with, Gohan used took him there once to pay some respects. The half human landed on a big hill surrounding Amembo Island, the start of the Android's rampage. Also it was here where the Z-fighters died at the hands of these two as well as Gohan's first battle against the twin Cyborgs as a child.
In front of Trunks are the tombstones of earth's special forces who died at their hands. Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Vegeta, his father. The half breed looked at the tombstones of the defenders who tried to fight them off. Each of them were murdered by their hands, despite their best efforts. He wondered what each of them would think of the Android's being victims. Piccolo would probably think it'd be too dangerous for them to live, Tien possibly the same, Yamcha may accept them but not want to provoke them, Krillin would be hard to say, he seemed flustered when he asked Trunks if the Androids were evil. His father? He'd want them destroyed, no question.
The time traveler walked in front of his father's tombstone, from what little he knew of his father he had mixed feelings of the man. Trunks didn't quite get the chance to know Vegeta, having a hard time understanding him, he flinches as he remembers when he didn't help his past self or Bulma when Dr Gero fired an energy blast. The warrior remembers what he said right after he asked him why he didn't save them.
"I don't have time for that woman or her wretched child!"
Trunks sighed irritably remembering him saying that, his mother and Gohan always said that he was strong and arrogant. Now he knows why, perhaps maybe there was a way through his heart of stone though. He'll never know because of Dr Gero's sick ambition, perhaps in his next trip to the past he'll get to know him. Though he remembers those words he remembers how valiantly he fought against Android 18, or Super 13 from the past. No matter how many times he went down, he would always get back up, it wouldn't matter if the odds were against him he kept fighting. That was something he admired about him, he'd get up no matter how beaten he was. He turned to his right and flew towards that direction.
(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-(-)-
After what felt like hours he made it to an area near Chi-Chis home, two graves were here. The graves of Gohan and Goku, father and son together. The warrior looks at Goku's grave, the father of his mentor, the man who spared his father. He seemed to be quite the forgiving man he would no doubt forgive the Androids considering their programming. He looked to his left to see his master Gohan's grave, he sighed as he tried to think of what he'd tell him. "I don't know if I can forgive them for this." He remembers finding Gohan's dead body in the middle of the ruins of Pepper Town, that horrible feeling of losing the older brother he always wanted. It was unbelievably awful that day, from then on he didn't just need to destroy the Androids, he wanted to kill them more than ever since then. "What should I do Gohan?"
A female voice spoke. "He would want you to do what you think is right."
Trunks turns around to see Chi-Chi with flowers in her hands. "Uh Chi-Chi, hi it's been awhile."
The elderly lady nodded. "That it has young man, I'm just here to show my usual respects to my family, knowing my Goku he's probably having a fun time with Gohan and everyone else." She said. "But it never hurts to let them know that we haven't forgotten them."
Trunks nodded and joining in praying for them. It may have been a useless gesture since he's seen otherworld, well only bits and pieces of it. 'She's alone because of them.' He thought angrily.
Chi-Chi looked to Trunks. "I guess you don't know if you should go or not."
Trunks sighed with sadness. "You know?"
"Bulma sent us an invitation too, we decided not to go, it may not have been their fault that all of this happened but they took my son from me, the only family I had left since the death of my husband." She said with sadness. "But don't let my decision influence you, go if you think you can let go, but if your not ready like me, my father and I will be glad to have you as a guest." She said as she turned around. "Give my best to your mother."
Trunks waved as she walked away, the Saiyan turned around and looked at the graves again. 'Maybe it is time.' He thought as he looked to the sky, keeping his hatred for the Androids isn't going to bring his friends back. He'll gain nothing if he continues avoiding them, if he continues to believe that the pain and destruction everyone suffered was all their fault. He thought back to when 16 was about to kill him to fulfil his programming, 16 told him that 18 stepped in the way telling him to stop. Even 17 got in the way as well, both of them kept him alive. Then there was the battle with this timeline's Super Android 13, they kept him alive there two, if it wasn't for them either he would have been killed or Super Android 13 might have destroyed the rest of the earth. As much as he denies it, these weren't the Androids who took his friends and family away from him. They were brainwashed by Dr Gero it wasn't their fault he knows that whether he accepts it or not. "Maybe it's time to move on." He said looking to the direction leading to his home, the Saiyan starts floating slowly then flies forward with a blank look on his face.
'Whether I accept them or not.' Trunks thought. 'I won't give in to my anger, not any more.' He thought remembering when he just charged the Androids three years after Gohan's death.
I feel bad that I couldn't put much action into this chapter, but it's necessary. Besides once we get to the plot it'll all be worth it, I have plans that hopefully won't suck. I'm not going to lie it'll be a little dicey, some of you may like it or some of you may hate it, but I can't please everyone. So I will now give a bit of an explanation for the characters strength, of course no PLs for obvious reasons.
Trunks has gotten stronger, stronger than future Gohan though not by much. I originally wanted to give him ascended Super Saiyan here but after a talk with a friend I realized that it was unlikely he could because Goku and Vegeta had three years to train for the Androids, with no distractions and they couldn't go beyond the regular SSJ state, so if they couldn't do it in three years Trunks likely couldn't do it in one. So yeah giving him the ASSJ state now would be more illogical than anything. His close to the upper limits of a normal SSJ, who knows what it would take for him to go beyond. I really like Trunks, but I prefer to be a realist instead of a fan boy. He's gotten stronger than Goku or Vegeta in the Super Android 13 film though.
16 is at the same strength level, he's fully mechanical so the only way for him to get stronger would be with upgrades, Bulma has no reason to give him any since he's already strong as it is. So right now 16 is still at his regular strength level.
17 and 18 have gotten stronger as well, there human with only tiny cybernetics parts, also Akira Toriyama stated that they could get stronger with training. Now both of them are close to the level of 16. 18 is still ahead of 17 when it comes to power though only by a small gap.
Ok so now we can get to responding to my reviewers.
Phantom- Thank you, I hope this was awesome too. Yeah PLs was a big mistake, I still kind of like the idea but I can't do it without people getting angry.
Lazer355- You were a fan of that too huh? Yeah I'm sorry, I promise if I ever want to do it again I WILL plan things out like I'm doing with this story, I promise.
Mo Eazy- Any review is appreciated whether it gives constructive criticism, or just compliments, I'm cool with it either way. :)
I understand what your saying, trust issues are necessary, for these kind of stories but sometimes they can be taken too far. Like a story I read called "Cyborgs don't cry?" where Trunks is forced to spare 18 but keeps insulting her, making him look like an asshole, and 18 like a bitch when she's suppose to be innocent. I'm trying to address the issue in this chapter, Trunks has a harder time letting things go than some other characters.
Yeah I just wish I realized sooner, makes me think how many people dropped this story just because I didn't agree with their precious numbers. Oh well. AT never quite explained what happened to the zenkai boost did he? Well there are a few theories. My personal one is that the closer the Saiyans get to their limits the less effective it becomes, when Goku was healed after his battle with Ginyu he got closer to the limits. Than there's the Cooler's Revenge movie where he received another one that was really effective, I believe this is where the near death power boosts reach their limit. I think the Saiyans still get it, but it only increases their strength by roughly one tenth, maybe even less. Trunks did receive a slight Zenkai boosts after his battles with the Androids, and one with Super Android 13 but it only slightly increased his power, also it was when I decided to remove my PLs so it wasn't worth mentioning.
Thank you, that was my goal, it gave him motivation to train, in just one year he already surpassed Goku and Vegeta though still behind 17 and 18. Who knows for how much longer though.
It was very helpful and encouraging, I hope this chapter earns another review from you. :)
Dumby95- Thank you, I hope you'll review this chapter as well.
Guest- Yeah I wish put more thought into those, but don't expect this story to drop anytime soon. Trunks will surely get stronger, but I won't promise when he'll surpass the Androids. I hope you can wait a little longer. :)
Guest- Hmmm ok I do understand what your saying. Just because Cell was able to tank Piccolo's attack doesn't mean he was twice as strong as he was. And just because 17 got dominated doesn't mean he was that much weaker. Though I do disagree that he couldn't use his full power effectively, but your theory is possible and I now believe I overestimated Super Android 13. This was helpful thank you, and I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
shadowwriter01- Thank you, I tried not to make it boring as I did with this chapter. As for Trunks going to the past. Shhh no spoilers. ;)
All that is true I now believe I overestimated Super Android 13. But what about if he absorbed only half of their power? Do you think that's more believable? Anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter and look forward to the next.
Have an awesome day guys. :)
