Guys I just want to apologize for the late chapter once again, I am still busy and I hope I can make these chapters weekly once again. One reason for this extremely late chapter is that I've beeb brainstorming on an elder scrolls/RWBY crossover story that I think I might write.
Anyway here is the next chapter, I hope you can enjoy it.
Desperation, Paragas's trumph card!
Paragas throws more and more ferocious blows at 17 and 18, however with them working together he has yet to land a hit on either of them. While he himself is capable of blocking and swaying one of them it doesn't help that their both fighting him at once also both of their powers are close to his own.
17 throws a kick at Paragas's face only for it to get caught but then 18 elbows the SSJ's face, forcing him to let go, 17 then uppercuts him further up the air 18 vanishes and appears above Paragas and delivers a hard axe kick down his head making him crash against the ground.
Paragas stands up and looks to his opponents still flying as if waiting for him to catch his breath. "You two *pant* can't win!"
18 decided to reply. "Your the one trying to catch your breath, it's obvious who's going to win."
17 smiled smugly. "Even a child can tell who's win this fight." He said. "As much as I'd hate to admit it, you are the strongest in the universe but unlike you our energy never fades."
Paragas growled at that and powered up ready to continue. "You two will die!" He roared as he charged the twins.
The twins were on guard and expertly blocked and dodged all of the elder Saiyan's strikes. 17 tried countering with an elbow strike to Paragas's face only for it to hit the palm of his right hand, 18 threw a punch to his stomach only to clash against Paragas's knee.
Paragas then grabbed 17 with his left hand and spun clockwise hitting 18 sending the twins flying, he then charged a yellow energy ball. "Punisher Blast!" He yelled unleashing the attack at the two, however the twins quickly regained their momentum and separated allowing the attack to go harmlessly into space and charged the SSJ as Paragas did the same going into yet another clash.
Paragas already realizes that the outcome of this fight, he's tiring while the Androids are not. He's losing energy defending against them and trying to counter them while they keep fighting with the same amount of power since the fight began. He was going to lose. He can feel the energy he had absorbed from Broly slipping away, he had no idea he would go against such powerful foes.
But he can't lose! Not when he's waited so long to put this plan into motion. Getting nearly killed by his own son, salvaging the technology from the big Gete Star, the training he underwent to control such monstorous power. 19 years later he's about to lose after going through so much torture on the very planet he always thought would make the perfect New Planet Vegeta where he'd rule over the universe.
'No!' Paragas rejected the thought of his brilliant plan failing. 'There has to be a way there has to be!' These thoughts costed him.
17 managed to land a upward kick to the Saiayns jaw followed by 18 throwing powerful punches to his stomach and 17 throwing his own fury of fists. - Paragas grunts with each blow, doubting himself more and more as they rain upon him. 'This isn't happening.'
17 then backhands Paragas sending him rolling and 18 appears in the direction of his rotatIng body, she raises her right leg high, when she's the body about to be within striking distance she slams her leg down hard the heel of her boot colliding with the back of Paragas's head sending him downward and crashing to the ground making a cloud of dust.
18 looks down unconvinced that their foe is down and out.
17 flies beside her looking down as well."This is even easier than I thought." The black haired fighter said.
18 never takes her eyes off of the cloud of dust that Paragas crashed. "He's not done yet."
Her brother looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "You sure?" - "Just a feeling." - A golden light forms out of the dust as Paragas flies out with a roar filled with rage. "RAAAH!
The two get into their stances with 17 wearing his signature smirk. "Persistent." - Paragas first throws a punch towards 18 only to be intercepted with a punch from 17 to the Saiyan's face.
18 takes advantage of this and low kicks Paragas, then she grabs his right leg and throws the dazed warrior behind.
The twins then quickly fire a barrage of energy blasts at the elder SSJ as he was still in the air from 18's throw.
Again Paragas crashed against the earth only this time a giant yellow explosion filled the forest, the wind blew against the trees of nearby forests and animals fled the area that weren't caught in the explosion.
17 looked at the destruction their attacked caused and looked to 18."You know 16 won't be happy when he sees this."
18 sighed and descended down near where Paragas crashed. "We'll just have to use the dragonballs to repair the forest." She then raised her palm with a punk energy blast. "Now get ready this time we'll finish him."
17 frowned. "What come on let's just have a little more fun with him, we have on the ropes so why finish him now?"
The sister rolled her eyes. "We had enough fun, we have to finish him off now." She said sternly.
He insisted. "Come on sis just a little longer."
"Do you want a repeat of what happened with 13?" She said already having answer ready.
No answer came.
18 smiled at that. "Good".
"Whatever" 17 took his stance with his back against his sister's and had a yellow evergy blast ready near 18's power blitz. The attacks merged making an orange color blast.
18 glared looking ahead."The minute you see him blast him."
17 nodded. "A huh."
The smoke finally cleared only for Paragas to not be there at all, all they see is what's the left of the forest they didn't destroy.
With gritted teeth 18 powers down her attack along with 17. "Where'd he go?" - 17 growled."Don't know but he couldn't have gotten far."
The beautiful woman sighed. "Well have to search the forest."
"I know we don't want to destroy anymore of the forest but why not just blow it up with him."
"Moron because we wouldn't know if we got him or not."
17 nodded. "True but hey doesn't this sound familiar?"
Both androids felt awkward as they realized they had this conversation before in their darker days.
Realizing this 17 changes the subject. "I'll go left you go right."
Picking up with the conversation 18 nods. "Right" And the two split up hoping to find their foe.
In the far reaches of the forest Paragad is hiding in a tree watching as the Androids search for his whereabouts. A smirk showed on his face. 'It looks like I heard right when they said they couldn't sense energy, this can work to my advantage.' The elder Saiyan's considered the idea of fighting each one separately, but that'd be risky. No he needs a plan where victory is garunteed. 'I never thought I'd do this but it seems to be my only option, if I can destroy them in time I can get away unscathed, it's either this or..' A flashback of Broly approaching him flashed in his mind. 'This is definitely the safer option.' The elder Saiyan looks to his right. 'My ship is over in that direction, I just have to take care in not getting his mind made up Paragas quickly and stealthily jumps branch to brunch circling around the Androids search areas. - Paragas cringes in irritation. 'This was suppose to be a simple operation, I can't believe it got so complicated.'
17 ran around the forest listening for and looking for any sign of Paragas cursing Dr Gero for failing to give him and his sister energy sensing abilities." Damn that , it's as if he made intentional design flaws with me and 18."He complained as he looked around. " Hide and seek never felt so annoying."
The Android heard a rustle from behind and turned with an energy blast ready only to see a rabbit coming out of the bushes. The energy died out in 17's hand and rubbed his head. "Come on where are you?"
18 was having the same luck finding nothing but animals and trees. "Where is he?" She asked frustrated. "This is the last time I let 17 mess around in a fight." An irritated sigh escaped her lips. "Damn it." She jumped from tree to tree looking for the elder Saiyan hoping he left signs on where he's beenVictory Scene 4 Meanwhile Android 16 who detected 17 and 18 exiting the chamber has been near the forest where Paragas and the Twins had their battle.
The Android was relieved when he was detecting Paragas's power dwindle as he tried to hone his own against the two. It would seem that victory was assured to his friends.
However his worry returned as he detected Paragas getting further and further away from the Cyborgs. His energy isn't suppressed, though there is no need since 17 and 18 can't sense energy. The mechanical warrior sees that he's taking a route to his spaceship, not knowing what he's planning 16 decides to get to 17 and 18 to inform them of this.
The Android flies over to the nearest twin, he carefully goes through the forest and sees 18 up ahead.
Hearing the sound flying coming her way 18 turns around with an energy blast ready expecting Paragas only to see 16 instead. "16?" She asked powering down her attack. As she sees the metal giant stop in front of her she glares. "Don't sneak up on me we're looking for Paragas.
16 nods. " Apologies 18 but I came to inform you that he's no longer in this forest."
18 growls at this. It figures he'd run off when he realized he had no chance, where is he?"
The mowhawk Android points to his right. "He's in that direction heading for his spaceship." - "His spaceship is he leaving the planet?
"I don't know his motives however I wouldn't leave him be go now while I inform your brother."
18 nodded. "Right" She flew to the direction 16 pointed to as he left in search for 17.

Paragas sees his spaceship up ahead, and not a moment too soon.
'BIP'.
The elder Saiyan clenches his teeth in anger as he detects one of the Androids is already following him and also that other one 16 is there. "Should've destroyed it when I had the chance!" He yells as he goes in the ship and immediately presses the button to close it. A smile crept up on his face. "No matter I still have enough time." He says as he bodyflickers through his ship until entering a room with many golden energy wrists. Paragas presses the button on his scouter. "Krang, can you hear me?"
"Yes my lord are you in need of reinforcements?" The squid like alien replied almost immediately.
Paragas grabs an energy bracelet and places it on. "I need more energy, better yet send all of it to me now!"
A cry was heard. "B-but my lord you already have as much power as you can store anymore and the effects can be catastrophic." - 'BOOM!'
Paragas hears the explosion and sees through his scouter that the female looking Android is here with the other along with the first Android he fought. With anger he screams. "Do it now or I'll kill you!" - "Y-yes sire."
The blue gem in his gauntlet started glowing and immedieately Paragas felt a surge of energy coursing through his body. At first it felt refreshing refueling whatever power he lost during his battle, but then he felt rather strange.
His muscles grew larger as he fell to his knees. "Aaaaaah!" Immedieately he felt regret for doing so he was warned by Krang that if he absorbs more of Broly's energy without proper training that he could cause fatal injuries to his body but he never knew it'd be like this. "DAMN IT!"
Then the door to the room slammed against the wall facing its direction, Android 18 walked in and looked to her right and was rather suprised at what she saw. "What is this?" She asked with no answer as she the Saiyan seeming to suffer through pain as his body is twitching and his screaming. "I know you took a beating from us but it'd be this bad." She said as she raised her and with a pink energy ball in her hand looking hesitant as she sees him struggling on the floor, but then she remembers Trunks taking a beating and almost dying by the repaired Android 13, thanks to this man on the floor. She shakes her head. "Sorry but atleast this will put you out your misery." The Android fired her attack blasting the Saiyan and the wall behind him exploding part of the ship and leaving a hole leading to the ground. The deadly Beauty puts her hair behind her ear and jumps down the hole and on to the ground. "Now I'll have to deal with 17's whining."
"I can make that the least of your worries."
18's eyes widened. 'How?' She quickly turned around as she heard the Saiyan's voice.
Android 16 located 17 and is now following him after showing the direction where Paragas is located.
17 looks behind to his companion. "16, why don't you stay behind 18 and I can take care of this."
Symbols appeared in the robots eyes and he replies. "I'm afraid that may not be possible."
The Cyborg raised an eyebrow at this. "What do you mean, we had him on the ropes I mean he's trying to run away so he couldn't have been holding back."
The mechanical giant's eyes reveal symbols again. "That may have been the case however the situation has changed, Paragas's power has now risen."
17 growled. "What!?" He was about to say his sensors were malfunctioning, however he remembered the last time he made such assumptions. "16, your last fight with Paragas really did a number on you, is there any chance your sensors could be damaged?"
"Negative my sensors received no damage in the battle." - 17 clenched his fists in anger that he allowed his enemy to get stronger again. "How's 18 doing?"
"It appears that she is fleeing from the enemy, awaiting for our assistance." 16 said with a glare.
"Let's hurry then." He said and looked back to 16. "I really hope your sensors are wrong."
"As do I." And the two flew in scilence focusing on getting to the fight as quickly as possible.

Back to the battle, 18 was hiding behind some boulders from the now stronger Paragas. She had bruises everywhere from the assault Paragas had delivered. 'This isn't right we had him on the run and then when I find him he was on the floor looking hurt and now he's turned into that.'
Paragas is flying high above where 18 was hiding, looking down at the boulders. His appearance has changed but not as much as his power. His hair remained the same gold color of the SSJ, his eyes now have no pupils, his muscles now bulging making veins visible through the skin. Also his scouter was unfortunately missing likely due to the attack 18 blasted at him. "Where are you Android!" He yelled with an animal like snarl. "I thought you were going to put me out of my misery, what happened you stupid bitch!"
18 glared and squeezed her fists. "This is bad." She looks to her right to see two tiny figures heading towards her direction. 17 and 16 are here, good now they might be able to come up with a plan. So long as 17 doesn't rush in like usual. - 16 stopped in his tracks and yelled. "That's far enough 17, we should land." - 17 stopped as well and looked to the other Android. "Why he's right there."
16 shook his head. "17 if you decide to face him head on even with 18 your chances of survival is very low." As 17 looked at him he continued. "Please we can't win if we rush this, we must find a way to defeat him."
17 really hated running away, the thought of it hurt his pride as a warrior and an Android, but against such a powerful opponent he has have no choice. With a sigh he calmed himself and looked back to 16. "Alright but let's make it quick, I don't want Tarble and Trunks to save us."
16 nodded and landed on the ground.
The two can see the changes Paragas had gone through, how he got this power is unknown what is certain is that he didn't always have it. - 17 looked to 16. "Can you find my sister?"
16 scanned the area and located 18. "She is hiding behind one of the boulders below Paragas, it would appear that he lost his scouter."
17 felt relieved but didn't show it, he looked at the bulkier Paragas, he doesn't need to sense energy to know he's gotten stronger. "Man, we lose him for a minute and now he's back stronger than ever." He said as he looked at the Saiyan. "It's like he took steroids."
"Whatever the case we must come up with a plan, he is too strong for both of you." 16 spoke seriously. "We must find a way to get to your sister."
17 smirked. "In that case don't worry I have something in mind." He said as he closed his eyes. Through their cybernetics 17 and 18 know how to use energy in almost every aspect that any of the Z-fighters have and one of them was telepathy. - 18 sighs in relief when she sees 16 and 17 landing so they wouldn't get spotted rather than just charging the enemy. "Thank you 16."
18, 18 can you hear me?'
18 hears her brother's voice in her head. 'I hear you what is it 17?'
'Good look I think we should use the attacks we came up with in the chamber.' 17 began. 'Do you know which one I'm talking about?'
18 nodded and looked up to see Paragas still looking. 'Ok but how he's even stronger, if he catches us going at him then were dead.'
Paragas spoke interrupting there telepathic link. "Alright Android you had your chance." He said as he aimed both hands towards the ground. "Since you won't come out, I'll just level the whole area!"
18's eyes widened as she sees him readying a purple energy ball, instinctively she raises her gard. "I won't be able to get away!"
17 seed Paragas aiming his attack close to where 18 is. "No you-" He sees 16 flying off without warning. "16!"
16 flies to Paragas and quickly fires an energy blast at the Saiyan creating a cloud of smoke.
Paragas came out the smoke and threw a punch. "Die!"
However 17 and 18 appeared by his sides. 17 at his left and 18 at his right, both had their hands at their side and quickly thrusters their hands at Paragas. "Barrier Prison!" Both yelled at the same time surrounding Paragas in a purple energy shield with white sparks. And his punch hit the wall of the barrier before it could touch 16's face.
17 sighed and looked to 16. "Hey 16 next time warn us when your going to do that." He said and looked to see Paragas who looked angry as can be. "Geez, your a muscle freak." - Paragas looked at his surroundings he was trapped inside an energy field he punched as hard as he could but to no avail. "What did you do?!"
17 chuckled. "Can't you tell, your trapped this barrier is as strong as 18 and I combined." He said. " Also since 18 and I have infinite energy it gets stronger the longer we stay in position."
Paragas threw another punch at the barrier and sees that the Androids slightly shook, he had a wolfish grin and through punch after punch inside the barrier.
The twins slightly shook as did the barrier. 17 cringed. "I think we should hurry up with the fun part." As Paragas kept punching with all his might trying to break the barrier. - 18 looked to 17. "I'll do it, don't screw it up."She said as she dropped her position and flew in front of Paragas with her hands aimed forward at him.
When 18 was out of position 17 had to use more and more of his energy to keep Paragas from escaping, he cringed as he kept it in place from the tremendous blows the Saiyan was throwing at the barrier. "Easier said then done." He said cringing as Paragas kept attacking the barrier.
18's hands glowed with pink energy, her power blitz was ready only it was glowing a brighter color then usual. "Come on." She said as she concentrated more and more power into her attack. "16 tell me when my attack is strong enough."
"Understood" 16 replied as his scanners watched 18's power blitz growing more and more powerful by the second. Also he can tell what she's doing, she's taking advantage of both her infinite energy core combined with her own natural energy. Although her natural energy isn't much compared to the power she gets from her infinite energy core, it can increase overtime, as long as it's user's stamina can hold out, which thanks to the infinite energy core is infinite. However according to 16's calculations, at the rate her attack is growing as well as 17's ability to keep Paragas from moving, the odds of her getting the power she needs are slim at best. But what choice do they have?
Paragas sees the attack that 18 is powering up but is not concerned as he throws punches at the barrier, he can tell that it's getting weaker as his punches are starting to make the barrier less and less hard. - 17 is struggling with keeping the barrier on Paragas, he and his sister haven't come up with a solution to this techniques draw back, and even he knew that it was risky to use without a third capable fighter to blast him. "Man this guy grr" He looks to see 18. 'Come on sis, I can't keep this up.' - Paragas laughs as he throws one last punch breaking the barrier. - 17 is sent flying. 'Shit!'
16 yells to 18. "Now!"
Smiling 18 fires the attack. "Infinite power blitz!" She released it at Paragas, as it blasted away 18 was thrown back by her own attack and crashed into the mountain behind her.
Paragas saw the attack coming, with no time to dodge he puts both hands in front, the attack pushed him back but he managed to keep it from blasting him. He smiled as he stopped the attack comepletely only to feel a blast explode against his back forcing him to lose his grip and the blast over took him. "Noooooooo!" The blast sent him flying upwards.
17 who had his hand out from blasting Paragas smiled as the attack sent their enemy flying. 'Pant' "Finally" He looked to see where 18 crashed and flew over to the mountain and looked in the hole. "18, you alive?"
18 grunted as she flew out of the hole, holding her arms. "Damn it, I can't believe we had to resort to that."
17 chuckled. "Oh come on it doesn't hurt that bad."
"Hmph that's not what you said in the chamber."
16 flew over to them still keeping his serious look.
17 looked to the fully mechanical Android. "Hey 16, why the look, we won right?" - 16 looked to his right. "We mustn't celebrate yet, Paragas is still alive."
17 and 18 both had shocked looks on their faces. 18 was the first to respond. "16 that's not possible I thought you were going to tell me if I had put enough energy to finish him."
16 looked to 18. "I apologize, however had I not told you to fire your attack, Paragas would have used that little time to destroy the three of us."
18 growled and sighed. "It's fine, but where is he now?"
16 looks to his right and points. "The explosion forced him over there, presumably a nearby island."
"How much of his power does he have much left?" 17 asks.
"18's attack seems to have injured him, his lost a quarter of his strength."
17 shrugs."Well at least we got somewhere, let's go."
18 nods. "Right" She agrees as the two fly in the direction 16 pointed.

Paragas was blown to a small island, the impact from his crash created a giant crater. His eyes were closed, slowly they opened revealing his white eyes. "Grrr" He felt a burning sensation in his chest, he looked down at his body to see that the front of his armor was gone, destroyed in the explosion of that Android's attack. He sees a fresh burnt mark where the attack hit him. He touched making the pain more extruciating. "GRR! Those two, are dead!" He yelled as he powered up his golden aura making the crater he's in deeper. "Ahhh!"
Once he stood up he felt pain in his legs, for some reason his whole body was hurting more and more. "Nnnh, I'll rip that bitch in two!"
In that moment both 17 and 18 arrive over the island. They easily spot the screaming Paragas. "Geez, you think the 'legendary' SSJ could take pain and not scream like a child." 17 noted.
18 made a glance to her brother. "Not now 17." She looked at the huge scar on Paragas's chest."It's not over yet."
Paragas gathered his energy. "It is for you!" He yells charging at the duo.
The twins took on a defensive stance, hoping to block his assault. However what they got was a surprise.
The SSJ suddenly fell and began rolling between the two Androids and crashed against the Boulder behind them. 17 and 18 looked at eachother with furrowed eyebrows and looked behind them to see Paragas on the ground in front of the boulder that he crashed into.
The elder Saiyan's eyes were widened as he was reverted back to his normal state. "Wh-what just happened?" He asks himself. "This shouldn't be happening yet." He looks at his left hand shocked to see the device was missing. "Aaah, no."
With the device gone, Paragas's link to Broly's power was severed. Destroyed by that cursed attack. Ironically the power he gained from Broly damaged his body, which now without his SSJ form he was starting to feel the pain he was already in feeling was worsening. In addition to the Android's attack he was no longer able to move. The Saiyan can hear footsteps and he looks to see 17 stopping when he was about a foot away.
17 looked down at his enemy and smirked. "Heh, looks like that little trick of yours took it's toll." He said and he looked to 18. "Looks like we won."
Paragas growls and clenches his right hand in anger. Over 20 years, the training, the planning, all of it was for nothing. He would have came on the first day alone of his invasion himself if he knew it would get this bad. And now here he was at the mercy of his enemy about to be finished off. But he thought of his son and smiled.
"Hehehehe" Paragas started to chuckle which raised 17 and 18's eyebrows. "Hahaha, you think you won, but soon enough all of you will wish you'd die by my hand!" He yelled with a laugh.
17 sighed and aimed a finger at him. "Just be a good loser and die." He said as a yellow energy beam blasted Paragas through the heart killing him instantly. He looked to 18. "Looked familiar huh?"
18 looked at the corpse and remembered when they killed Dr Gero the same way, laughing as if he had another trick up his sleeve. She looked to 17. "But aren't you worried what he was saying?"
17 waved it off. "Pfft, please if he really was in charge then he had to be the strongest right?"
"I guess but Dr Gero wasn't that strong."
"Quit being so tense, he was just trying to scare us, let's go." He said as he started levitating. "We'll need to let little green and the others know the good news."
18 looked at the corpse remembering his last words. 'All of you will wish you'd die by my hand.' She shook her head and flew with her brother, hoping that his words meant nothing.

While our heroes on earth celebrate, while Trunks and Tarble train unaware that Paragas had been defeated. In the far reaches of space, Paragas's warning is inside his chamber still motionless. First Broly's eyes twitch until one opens. - The true legend is awaken once more.
Well guys the invasion saga is over and now begins the Broly Saga, which maybe shorter, it depends which route I decide to take. As I promised Broly will show personality and not scream Kakarot! Over and over, not that I hated Broly, I love him, he's one of my favorite Dbz Phsycopaths, I only wish he had more lines and showed more motives than killing Goku. I have an idea on what to do.
Now I already started writing the next chapter, I'm hoping to publish it next week. Like I said though I think I might want to work on a new story to work on the side but I will finish story I promise.
Ok so I think now is time to explain some of the things in this chapter. You see the reason Paragas needed the device as he absorbed alot more of Broly's energy is because his body alone wasn't strong enough to contain it, so he needed the device to balance it out. The training he did was simply him getting used to more and more portions of Broly's power not exactly increasing his own strength. If he had the device still on he may have been able to defeat 17 and 18 unless they had him trap with their Barrier Prison technique. Which they may couldn't have.
Now for 17 and 18's Barrier Prison technique, it was an attack they made in the hyperbolic time chamber. Designed to be the perfect prison for almost any enemy, both 17 and 18 are good with using energy barriers to sheild themselves and together they can make an orb that grows stronger due to them having an infinite energy device within their bodies. However since Paragas was just two strong he may have broken free if he had kept attacking weakning the energy ball to quickly for it's energy growth rate, he did when 17 was the one who had to hold the barrier by himself.
Now for 18's infinite Power Blitz, this kind of attack can only be used by Cyborgs with infinite energy cores. It can't be used by full Androids like 16, because he simply lacks natural energy that every living organism possess. If pushed enough energy attacks can increase to a very powerful attack. 17 can also do the same with his Photon Flash, they both can power them up to levels of power that go above any energy attack that non-Cyborgs can do. But with every seemingly overpowered move there's a catch, first 17 and 18 need time depending on how powerful they want their attack to be and also did you notice 18 holding her arms after she fired her attack? If the attack get's too powerful they may destroy themselves along with whover their opponent is or do extreme damage to themselves.
Also I feel that Paragas had to be ended here, I did have fun using him as a powerful villain but the idea of him actually fighting can get old atleast for me. How did you feel about the Invasion Saga? Did you like Paragas actually fighting? 13 gaining a body from the big Gete Star's materials? Did any of these feel like they could have been done better? Guest- I understand your point, 15 years is a long time. However, Tarble wasn't strong enough to handle first form Frieza in his base form, which means that he couldn't beat Goku when he became SSJ. When Goku came back to earth he stated to Trunks that he couldn't transform without getting angry so he had to train to do it whenever he wanted. That means Tarble had to learn that too, he had to learn how to go SSJ whenever he needed to. So he had to catch up to Goku and Vegeta's strength, learn how to switch to SSJ whenever he needed to AND he had to discover and get used to his ASSJ. Mastered SSJ, requires to be at peace as a Super Saiyan, no need for rage, since Tarble was full of rage at seeing his wife die as well as his brother there was no way he could have found peace with nothing but revenge in his mind. I hope this explanation makes sense.
