Louise was having a great day. She'd gotten an "A" on her biology mid-term and an "A" on her American history midterm. Rounding out the happiest academic day of community college, she'd gotten an "A" on her political science paper on California politics. It didn't get much better than that as far as school went.

Even her long romantic drought might be ending. The cute guy with brown hair and big dimples from biology had smiled and talked to her today at the bookstore. She was feeling unusually optimistic that he would ask her out soon.

That night, she was starting her job as night manager. She was a little annoyed that the owner still hadn't installed the security system hooked to the police department, but he swore to her that it would be up and running Wednesday. She wasn't worried. This was Charming. It was the safest little city in the state.

Around midnight, Tig came in for a candy bar and a couple of ice cream sandwiches. She liked the MC guys especially Jax. They were always so nice to her.

Sometimes though, Tig kind of gave her the creeps. It wasn't anything she could put her finger on, but there was just something about him that wasn't quite right. She knew she was being silly. Of course there was nothing wrong with Tig. It was all her imagination.
