Here I am with a chapter almost just a week later for once, hope ya'll like it.
Power of Fusion
Goku and Trunks were back on Grand Kai's planet. "Alright so you ready?"
"Sure but ready for what exactly?"
"After watching what happened we thought why not teach you something like what Babidi did, y'know fusion."
"What?" Trunks asked. "You mean you know a way to fuse like what Babidi did?"
"Yep" Goku grinned.
"Um Goku" Krillin interrupted. "Do you really want to teach him the fusion dance? I mean he's here for a month the androids will probably take care of Daburack before then."
'Hopefully' Trunks thought.
"Yeah but there's no reason not to teach him it might come in handy later on who knows when the next enemy will show up." The orange clad saiyan replied and looked to Trunks. "Now enough of that time's wasting."
"Right and it's called the fusion dance?"
"A huh" Goku responded as he took steps away from Trunks. "This is a technique created by a race called the metamorans, they taught me the technique that made them some of the strongest warriors in the universe."
"Alright so how does it work?" Trunks asked.
Goku got into a pose with his arms pointing to his left. "First you take this pose saiying Fuuuu"
Trunks sweat dropped, this seemed very silly.
The earth saiyan continued his lesson taking steps and was now pointing his arms to the right. "Make sure not to take an extra step and then sion!" He took a completely different stance with one knee above the other and his arms pointing the other way with fists.
"Hehe" Krillin laughed. "Man I don't blame the guy for that face he's making but he's got no idea how strong the fusion is."
Tenshinhan and Yamcha looked at each other. They smirked and looked back at Goku explaining the steps.
"And then finish it with this. Ha!" Now he took another pose with his upper body tilted and his fingers pointing to his left. "And there you have it. Don't take a single misstep or the fusion will be incorrect."
Trunks couldn't help but be a little embarrassed as it looked like some weird balley. "I see"
"Now I see the resemblance." Yamcha said. "Vegeta was giving the same look as you are now kid, only he said something worse."
"What's you fused it'll last for only 30 minutes before it wears off and then you'd have to wait for an hour before you can fuse again."
"There's a time limit?" Trunks asked. "Then you think maybe there's one on Daburack?"
"Don't know, the fusion that Babidi used was something brand new, if there is a time limit we don't know about it."
The lavender haired man nodded wishing that was the case.
"Now why don't you show me that you got it down?" Goku asked.
"Huh?" Trunks asked. "You mean right now?"
"Of course, c'mon there's no time to waste." Goku said.
"R-right."
Gohan chuckled at his former disciple.
"Fuu" Trunks started doing the dance.

A saucer ship is being worked on by many engineers.
Babidi is overseeing the whole thing from a throne made for him with a smirk with Zangya, Kugo, and Daburack by his side.
Kugo bowed before the wizard. "Master Babidi if I may ask, why are we not leaving now and why send a signal for more PTO soldiers?" The swordsman was curious.
Babidi would have brushed off this question and silenced his minion, but he feels this was a fair question which is beyond rare. He or his father were never ones for patience, in this situation where he has the strongest fighter to his knowledge he would normally not bother with further strategizing and just get on with obtaining victory.
But something Daburack said struck an idea, while these peons are nothing more than canon fodder they can still be useful with the dragon balls being his new goal he knew that he should secure victory rather than just expecting everything to fall into place.
"Oh my servant I'm merely preparing something special, something you and Zangya should thank Daburack for." The wizard cackled.
Daburack looked to him and said nothing.
"Hm hm hmmm" Babidi cackled looking at the many saucers that looked eerily similar to Frieza, and all ready to fly filled with many new warriors.

Back on earth Lazuli and Lapis landed on an island.
"You really think training will do any good for us?" Lazuli asked.
"Couldn't hurt." Lapis replied. "Come on we got days before they get here."
"Waste of time." Lazuli scoffed.
"Would u rather we fuse?"
The blonde shook her head. "Fine" She took her fighting stance. "But I doubt this'll help."
"Let's find out." The brother replied taking his own.
The two then vanished striking each other normally they would be on equal footing however Lazuli is taking more hits and landing none on her brother.
"Come on sis." He dodged a punch and kneed his sister causing her to cough. "Your, not thinking about my next move like usual." He pulled his leg back and floated a few feet away.
Lazuli was holding her stomach frustrated that she wasn't even matching up her brother. She then began to think why she's having so much trouble with someone her equal. She took a breath and put away her thoughts on Trunks's death out of her mind, she then exhaled and looked at her brother.
Lapis rose an eyebrow and smiled. Though not the cocky one he usually had more like satisfied.
She vanished and appeared in front of Lapis and punched right into his gut.
"Gah!" Lazuli then palm struck Lapis's face crashing him through the rock.
The blonde vanished and appeared behind where Lapis was headed and reared back her leg and kicked.
At the last second Lapis flipped with his own kick upside down and collided with Lazuli. Both blocking each other's kicks.
They then vanished across the islands matching blow for blow creating waves and breaking land off the islands.
The two clash their fists making a shockwave that affected the island below by creating a crack in the center.
They split a few feet away and Lazuli powers an energy ball but stopped seeing her brother raise his hand.
"We're done now." Lapis smiled.
She reabsorbs her energy. "What? Why?"
"Normally I'd prefer we finish our spars, but I think we're ready to start planning to take down Daburack."
"What? I thought you wanted to train to take him out. Or at least increase our chances."
"Yeah but we don't really have that kinda time, we've already used the time chamber twice." Lapis frowned at that, such a useful with a seemingly intentional design flaw.
Lazuli glared. "Then what was this? Why did you waste time?"
The brother chuckled but stopped not wanting to anger her more for once. "Well it would make no sense to make any sort of plan before, when you were upset."
She realized what he meant. "So you just wanted me to calm down."
"Yup and also you need to stop being so down about Trunks." She looked away for a bit. "No one blames you for what happened. We were cocky again when Bojack came we split up and Trunks almost lost his life then remember?"
Lazuli said nothing but looked back at him.
"We got too comfortable with our numbers and power after Broly was taken care of." He stated. "Just like when were controlled come to think of it. Speaking of I don't blame you for not being afraid of Babidi controlling us."
She sighed. "I know that and I know Trunks will come back but if we lose, if Daburack kills us who will bring him or us back?"
Lapis shrugged. "Well if we die there's a second set, who knows maybe New Namek will find out and revive us."
"Tch" Lazuli put the strands of her hair behind her left ear. "Too easygoing as usual. Alright so how do we take down Daburack without fusion?"
"You ask that like it's hard to answer." The brother said.
"What? Don't tell me you already have an idea." She smirked. "That's shocking that you can actually use your brain."
"Give me some credit." He smirked and pointed behind him. "Let's head back we need to talk to Kibito."
"Kibito? He can't fight with us."
"No but he can do something that can help us. Come on we'll need to talk with him." He flies off with his sister.

"Ha!" Trunks yelled with the final pose of the fusion technique.
"Great!" Goku giggled. "You got it down now."
His eye twitched as he stood back up. "So uh are you sure that this can help us?"
"Eh?" Goku tilted his head. "Come on Trunks don't you trust us? I wouldn't be teachin this if I didn't know it was strong."
"Of course I trust you Goku it's just this seems silly have you ever fused with anyone?"
"No, I wanted to fuse with Vegeta, but he really doesn't want to. But" He looked to the others. "But Yamcha and Tenshinhan have."
Trunks looked at the two.
"Yup" Yamcha looked at Tenshinhan. "Me and Tien learned the fusion and can go toe to toe with even Goku."
Trunks looked surprised. "Really? It's that strong?" Two normal humans fusing can fight Goku, he didn't mean any disrespect, but he was told by his mother that saiyans just have a superior biology.
The cyclops sighed. "It's true we become strong, but not quite the same level as Goku."
Yamcha fell back and stood back up. "Come on Tien, he didn't need to know that."
"If you want to brag you should make sure you can back it up, don't want to have hot air in your head again."
"Your no fun man." The bandit pouted.
"Hey I know." Goku grinned. "How bout you guys fuse now let's show Trunks what's so great about fusion."
"That's a great idea dad." Gohan said and looked at Trunks. "Want to see why my dad wanted you to learn fusion?"
Trunks smiled. "Definitely"
"Alright let's get the show started!" Goku yelled excited to watch the fight about to unfold.
The Z-fighters got to one of the fighting rings on Grand Supreme Kai's planet.
Trunks was standing a few feet from Tenshinhan and Yamcha.
"Alright kid ya ready?" Yamcha asked.
Trunks nodded. "Yeah let me see what fusion is really like."
Both Yamcha and Tenshinhan first powered up white aura surrounded the both of them.
"Like Goku said" The cyclops began. "Both participants need to power up and make sure there equal."
Trunks nodded feeling their energy, they're both strong, maybe strong enough to fight his base form individually, nothing to super saiyan though.
"Alright, now" Yamcha began the pose.
"Get ready." Tien did as well.
"Fuuu…..sion …..Ha!" They yelled both and connected their fingertips creating a light that made Trunks cover his eyes.
When Trunks opened his eyes he sees not the two earthling but only one. "So this is your fusion?" He looked at the fighter he had Yamcha's spikey hair only he can see more of the forehead with Tenshinhan's third eye and Yamcha's scars. And a green vest with yellow shoulder and neck covers. And baggy pants with a yellow belt and shins.
"That's right." A blended voice of Yamcha and Tien bragged and pointed his thumb at his head. "The names Tiencha, ready to see what fusion can do?"
'Wow this is like Daburack, I can sense both their energies but his are more than just one adding onto the other.' Trunks smirked and took a fighting stance. "Yeah I'm ready let's go."
"Great!" As he took his own with a smirk.
The two silently judged each other looking for any weak points.
Trunks decided to make the first move and he dashed towards his opponent. He threw a punch as hard as he can only for it to be blocked. He threw a couple more strikes all dodged or blocked.
As Trunks was attacking his eyes widened as he looked at his opponent's feet. 'My attacks aren't pushing him back, even though I'm using everything in my base form.'
The scarred cyclops jumped up and Trunks followed. Tiencha fired an energy blast.
Trunks deflected it and tries an axe kick but it's swayed and countered by a punch to Trunks's face making him spittle. He retaliates by punching Tiencha's face, the half saiyan smirked but he sees Tiencha smirk. "Come on Trunks we both know your holding back!" He yelled as he kicked Trunks up his chin sending him flying.
He then jumps to wolf strike him upward and lands back down. "Wolf Fang Volleyball Fist!"
As Trunks falls down Tiencha slides below him and strikes him upward, then the fusions flies up and headbutts him higher. And he finishes it by flipping higher and clawing him downward.
Trunks's body then crashes against the ring creating an earthquake and makes a huge crack in the ring.
Krillin chuckled. "Man no offense Goku and Gohan but I'm glad to see a saiyan struggle against an earthling for once."
"Huh?" Goku looked at Krillin. "What do ya mean I struggled when I fought you guys in the World Martial Arts Tournament."
"Well yeah but that's not the same Goku, ever since Namek we humans haven't been able to keep up with you."
"Hehe that's true." The saiyan smiled. "But don't get too excited, the fights just about to get good."
"I know that's not all you got." Tiencha replied as he flew back down in the center of the ring. "Come on kid don't underestimate us just cause we're only earthlings, I'm going easy on you y'know."
Trunks jumped back up and wiped some spittle off his face. 'So this is him holding back huh? Better not waste time then.' The half saiyan powered up with a scream, his blue aura flared and turned gold along with his hair.
"There we go." The fusion stated. "But how about we even the odds."
"What?" Trunks asked wondering what he meant.
Tiencha powered up as well. "Kaioken times 20!" A red aura engulfed the fusion making them bulkier.
"Wait I remember this is one of the attacks Goku learned from King Kai, I remembered Gohan told me about it." Trunks recalled the stories of the time his father invaded earth.
"That's right, ya ready!"
Trunks only smirked. "Yeah. Let's see you take on a super saiyan!" He dashed again and this time the two clashes blow for blow and Tiencha was being pushed back.
The fused earthling side jumped and pulled back his arms with each hand pointing two fingers. "Dodohameha!" He flung his hands forward pointing two fingers and fired a yellow energy wave.
'Too fast!' Trunks blocked the attack creating a large smokescreen when the smoke cleared he sees the red aura of Tiencha flying at him with a kick.
Trunks grabbed the foot aiming for his head and rose him over his head and slammed him down on the ground creating a hole in the ring. He looked down in triumph and stops when he sees him use a familiar pose.
"Solar flare!"
"Ah!" Trunks wasn't expecting that and was blinded by the light.
Tiencha then threw a barrage of punches and kicks. He ended it with kneeing his face forcing him back.
Trunks caught his momentum before he could crash past the ring, he tried opening his eyes, but they hurt from the harsh light.
Tiencha flew forward and threw multiple punches and kicks.
Trunks had to block every strike by just sensing the energy, problem was he wasn't used to fighting blind. Sure he can sense energy but most of his life he relied on it to know if others were in danger not to anticipate someone else's moves so plenty of the attacks hit their target.
The other Z-fighters that were spectating watched the fight with enjoyment.
"I know that Yamcha and Tenshinhan aren't slouches but I didn't think they could push Trunks this much." Gohan stated. "I mean even with the Kaioken times 20 Trunks still has more power.
"That is true." Kami stated watching as Trunks used an energy barrier to push back Tiencha to keep him away while he tries to regain his sight. "However Trunks doesn't have too much combat experience, fighting the same foes for years hinder your ability to adapt to different fighting styles, he may know Solar Flare but no one has ever used it against him before and he always had to use his sight to fight against the androids."
"Right as always Kami" Goku nodded. "Let's not forget that fusion doesn't just increase your power."
Trunks was starting to open his eyes again and sees Tiencha in a new pose.
"Multi Form!" He yelled as he began to split into four identical copies with the Kaioken aura.
"What?!"
"Double Spirit Ball!" They yelled each holding two yellow energy orbs and they tossed them towards Trunks.
Goku smiled watching the attacks of his friends working together. "It also combines the tactics of both fighters making them smarter and more unpredictable. Also they can make some even more awesome techniques"
Trunks flew above but the Spirit Balls chased them and split as the the Tiencha moved their own orbs with their hands around him.
He stopped as two appeared in front of him and felt the back of his head hit with the solid energy then another hit his face, another in his stomach and the eight Spirit Balls hit him across his body in different places.
The Tienchas then rose their Spirit Balls above Trunks's head who had bruises covering his body he looked up to see the eight Spirit Balls mixed into one giant one.
The four Tienchas slammed their hands down slamming the attack downward. "Sprit Ball Barrage!"
The attack swallowed Trunks and slammed him against the ring hard making a giant yellow explosion that blinded all in and out of the ring when it ended a large smoke column was their.
Trunks barely walked out of it with blood coming out of his mouth and he was panting hard.
"Had enough?" The Tienchas smirked as they molded back into one still wrapped in the Kaioken aura.
"Why don't you come find out?"
"That's the spirit!" Tiencha yelled as he took a fighting position.
Trunks then flew forward again.
"Straight forward again, starting to think you never learn kid." Tiencha noted.
"Raaah!" Trunks was then surrounded in lightning and his hair spiked more.
"Oh crapbaskets." Tiencha was then punched straight in the jaw sending him out of the ring and through a few of the buildings in Grand Kai's palace.
Trunks in his SSJ 2 form looked at the trail where he punched Tiencha. "Oh no! Tiencha?" He flew to where he punched him and was relieved to see that he was ok just had some blood coming out of his mouth with some blood. "Are you alright I think I went too far there."
"Hehehe" Tiencha chuckled as he sat up holding where he was punched. "Don't sweat we're already dead you can't kill us ya know."
"Oh right, sorry got worried."
"That was great guys!" Krillin came to them. "Both of you were great!"
"Thanks but I don't think I was great as Tiencha was."
"Huh what do you mean?" Tiencha asked as he glowed and separated into Tien and Yamcha.
"You won Trunks, you shouldn't lessen your victory." Tenshinhan said.
"I know but I only won because I had more power, you guys had me until I went transformed again."
"Yeah!" Goku yelled impressed with his friends. "You guys always impress me but when your fused your awesome!"
"Ha! Yeah we were right Tien?" Yamcha threw thumbs up.
"Heh, you bet."
Trunks nodded. "Guys this fight showed me that I still have a lot to learn, I thought I was great at fighting but it turns out I'm only great with power. I still have a lot to learn if I want to protect earth. I like to start training in more than just fusion if you guys don't mind that is."
Gohan placed a hand on his shoulder. "Sure buddy, I'd be more than happy to start training you and everyone else too right guys?"
Everyone nodded all agreed that the last Z-fighter needs to learn to counter new attacks if he wants to protect earth.

A fleet of flying saucers flew through space ahead of the fleet is a saucer ship that looked eerily similar to Frieza with an 'M' on purple window of the ship
Babidi looks through it excitingly anticipated to the dragon balls.
Daburack is in his own chamber meditating. A red aura surrounded him sweat fell from his face, Dabura had no trouble meditating, however the impatience of Bojack seemed to have drained that ability some.
'Focus, focus' Daburack thought to himself over and over again. The energy throughout his body started to come together at his center. His mind started to become clear, however his energy was still retreating his body sparks started coming out of his body lightly damaging the room.
A vein popped on his forehead, he needed to find a way to clear his mind. This fusion was still new perhaps he should think of his past, their past before he was formed maybe that will clear things up for him.

He sees a vision of Demon World.
"With Demon God Demigra gone I as his general nominate myself as your ruler." Dabura stood in front of the throne the Demon God sat on.
All the demons screamed some cheered others did not support his claim. "Nonsense! We only answer to Demon God Demigra you have no right claiming his throne.
Dabura merely smirked and put a hand out. They expected an energy ball only he merely pushed his hand forward sending the opposing masses flat on their back including the strongest in the crowd while they weakest died from the pressure.
"Now" Dabura sat down on the throne. "Any more resistance?"
"All hail King Dabura!"
Dabura was the strongest in Demon World and proved himself his right to be king. But at the same time, he was no fool, he knew Demon God Demigra would return which is why he takes the title Demon King rather than Demon God, intelligent as well as mighty.

Now he sees a vision of the Planet Hera.
Bojack and his lieutenants all came before the king of Hera. "King Resa you dare betray us?! I know it was you that sent those assassins after us!"
King Resa a fat Hera stood up. "You betrayed us! You attacked and conquered other planets when I have ordered you to stop!"
"I allowed you to keep your throne while I protected our planet, those planet's armies attacked us!"
"Keep my throne!?" Resa answered angrily. "You were to defend against invaders not attack the civilizations! You are making are robbing us of our chance to make peace! You destroyed planet Zeus!"
"Planet Zeus broke our treaty and attacked us first I merely ensure our people's survival. And you turn me and my men into criminals."
"We will never know if we can ever make peace with Planet Zeus now, we are the only planet in our system now." He sighed. "I have decided. You are banished!"
Bojack merely looked at his Bojack Gang with a smile they smiled back he turned and blasted the king killing him instantly.
The troops through the palace came and attempted to kill the traitor they failed and died.
After naming himself King his people all rebelled riots and attempted assassinations happened so much he lost count by his own people as well as the planets he conquered that got brave.
Bojack and his galaxy soldiers flew in a ship hovering over his home world. A smile spread on his face as well as his men. "I won't destroy the planet I will merely destroy the people that love that disgraced king of ours."
"Now there will be only five who call themselves Hera." He fired a green energy wave the blast surrounded the planet all it's cities, all it's people died. But the planet lived he turned to the ship that is recording and broadcasting what he done. "Do you see now? I have done this to my own people now know your place and obey us your masters. From now on if but one residents of your planet attempt at taking my life I will make your people extinct." A cruel smile spread across his face.
Bojack's evil to his own people was the foundation of obedience any attempts at rebelling quelled and he ruled the galaxy. Until the Kais sealed him away.

Daburack stopped twitching and now started to meditate calmly. He now was starting to understand who and what he is. He is cunning like Dabura and cruel like Bojack. Bojack's lack of mercy was a double edge sword he would have killed Kugo and Zangya it was Dabura's influence that told him to appeal to Master Babidi for sparing them. After all why not have extra pawns ready to sacrifice?
Now however he still cannot completely focus. Both Dabura and Bojack were different in personality but both had one thing in common. They were independent. Conquerors. But Daburack he while more powerful he is Babidi's servant? Is that all he is?
The 'M' on his forehead glowed red calming him.
No not just his servant his ultimate weapon.
Yes, he is the strongest and he owes his master a great deal for making it so. So why would he not help Babidi he was the one that made him, and for that he will obey to his last breath.
Alright guys I know that I didn't move the plot much here, I wanted to show how Trunks is a great martial artist he doesn't have the same skill as Goku or the other Z-fighters. Most of his fighting experience was training with Gohan and of course fighting 17 and 18.
So he'll learn more than just the fusion dance.
And I wanted you guys to get to know Daburack more as a character and what kind of villain he is.
Also, for Lazuli to focus on doing what they need to do now so Trunks can get revived later.
Now guys I'm going to really try to set a schedule for writing chapters until the arc is over I hope to commit to writing and making art on deviantart.
I guess that's all I have to do left is review responses.

shadowwriter01: Thx. Gt Piccolo inspired the idea I knew it couldn't be avoided to put Vegeta in hell, so I thought I could give him a less unfortunate fate.
He's stronger than Majin Vegeta but still behind Goku.
Yup and now he's increased his army with more canon fodder. Didn't do it for this chapter as I wanted to focus on Tiencha and Daburack's meditation.
Lapis and Lazuli fusing would be something they might have to resort too but a brother and sister fused forever may not be the best experience life has to offer.
Maybe they still could I may decide to make the dragonballs unable to do the fusion.

SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: Yup Vegeta will always be the tough daddy. I will tell you he's stronger than Majin Vegeta I won't tell you how strong he Is exactly he's still a bit behind Goku in this timeline but not too far behind
FF8cerebus: You are correct on how the earrings work. As for why Lapis can't fuse with 16 it's because 16 is completely mechanical, he cannot do a fusion. I know he can in dragon ball fusions but I don't think it makes sense, it'd be like putting a potara earring on a computer and do the other on your ear, you wouldn't fuse with the computer I just don't think it would make sense.
Lapis can with Lazuli because they are still human just with some great enhancements. Don't worry about the names if it's easier to call them 17 and 18 go for it.
Well the other Z-fighters watched Trunks fight the androids so their familiar with him their just getting to know him. Vegeta mellowing out will be explained later, he's had time to think. As of now the fusion technique is unusable as the only one who's learning it is dead but he can still fuse.
Kid Trunks and Goten could still fuse even though they're not on the same level. Kid Trunks just had to suppress his power level.
Also, Trunks is also learning fusion for future use, you never know it might come in handy.
Yes, if the Elder Kai offered his life he could bring back Goku or anyone else. But remember he only did it because they were facing the possibility of universal destruction, if things get really bad it might happen.
