Damn I had such a good record. 5 weeks of non stop chapters and a last minute vacation screwed it up. Oh well I had fun still I was hoping to keep going till the arc was finished.
Ok guys so I'm gonna keep trying to post on a regular bases hopefully once a week. And if there's a Sunday with no additions check my portfolio it'll explain what's happening and when I'll likely post my next chapter.
Something else school started for last week now, I will be studying but I'll also be putting time into my chapters, at worst it'll be a chapter every two weeks unless something happens.

Off Guard Again
Capsule Corporation.
Android 16 put's the namekien child down and walks over to the twins.
"Aw where you going?" Asked a namekien child.
16 turned his head and smiled. "I will be back, right now they need me for something." He puts his hand gently on the upset child's head.
"Okay"
The Android walked away from the namekiens and to where the duo are standing. "What is it you require?"
"Not me." Lapis points a thumb to his sister. "Lazuli has something to say to both of us."
He looked down at the female cyborg.
"16, Lapis, I wanted to say that I'm sorry." Lazuli wore her serious face but closed her eyes, she wasn't used to apologizing. "I'm sorry for not being there when you first went against Babidi."
Lapis rolled her eyes. "You don't have to apologize we get it, right 16?"
"Affirmative"
Lazuli looked at the both of them. "But if it wasn't for what I did, Trunks wouldn't have had to die, we'd already be done by now."
"Relax" The cyborg said. "Honestly sister, you've gone so soft lately."
Lazuli said nothing only looked down at the grass unable to deny that claim.
"Don't get me wrong I'm glad, it shows that you've gotten more human." Lapis smirked. "And it's for the best, I much rather be who we are now than who we were back then."
His sister's eyes met his. "So, you were worried to."
He nodded. "That's why we don't hold anything against you, after all 16 knows don't you."
16 nodded. "You forget that I was originally going to kill Trunks, then take you and Lapis to be reprogrammed back to your old selves. Only with more restraints."
Lazuli looks to the largest android.
"The three of us have been victims of Dr Gero's control." The machine pointed out. "If I were organic like you, I would also feel the fear of being under Babidi's control." Though the android still envied them for having flesh, he was also grateful he was mechanical otherwise he too would have stayed behind.
"See?" Lapis asked. "Don't beat yourself up sis, after all we're almost done anyway, just two grunts and a midget wizard, then we bring back Trunks and you can apologize to him too if you want."
Lazuli nodded with a tiny smirk, she turned around concentrating on her senses, hoping to catch a glimpse of the last of Bojack's gang. "By the way what are you doing with Trunks's sword?"
Lapis took the blade from its holster. "Well since Trunks isn't going to use it for a while I thought I'd borrow it."
"Lapis it's a bit morbid to use a dead friend's weapon."
"Aw come on." He shrugged. "I got Bulma's permission, though I did need to persuade her. Besides he's coming back right?"
"Still" She sighed. "Fine, but why borrow it?"
"Well it going to be the last fight we'll have for a while so why not make it interesting?"
"Do you even know how to use a sword?"
"Sure" He shrugged. "I learned some of the basics from him while training with the Z-Sword."
"So I guess you want the swordsman?"
"Yup" He smirked. "It'll be interesting, I've never been in a sword fight."
She rolled her eyes. "You're as attentive as ever."
He merely shrugged and sheathed back the blade.

Desert.
Running with using little energy as possible a swordsman jumped and landed in a desert. Kugo put a hand in his black shirt and pulled out a red scouter. He attached it to his ear. "I've made it to my position you?"
A beeping sound responded from the gadget. "Yes, I'm here." Zangya replied. "Are you ready Kugo?"
"I am" The male replied. "How about we start now, waiting won't be any fun."
"Don't even think about it Kugo, we have our orders."
"Yeah well I hate that we have to listen to this traitor, we belong to Master Babidi, not this upstart."
"Do you want to tell him that?" Zangya asked annoyed.
Kugo kept silent and sighed. "Fine, let's just get it over with." He sat down on a rock and closed his eyes waiting for them to start the plan.

Lapis, Lazuli, and 16 look outside to sense something heading for their direction.
"Pathetic" Lapis frowned. "I know Babidi doesn't want to waste his last decent fighters, but did he have to send one guy?"
"Whatever" Lazuli floated seeing one grunt flying their way, she aimed a finger at him.
The grunt rose his hands in desperation. "W-wait, I'm just a messenger that's all!"
The namekiens from below were glaring at the individual, they despised everyone from Frieza's army.
"What?" The female asked sharply still aiming her finger.
"M-master Babidi would like to bargain with you."
She rolled her eyes. "Not interested."
"Wait there's something you should know!"
Lapis sees this still standing. "Just hear him out sis? We'll decide what to do with him after."
"Fine what do you want?" The platinum blonde asked.
"Master Babidi offers you that he'll leave this planet unharmed in exchange for the dragon balls."
"That it?" She asked as she aimed her finger at him. "Here's my answer-" She stopped and turned her head as did her brother and 16.
They then turned to the other direction.
"Two energies are increasing at the same time." Android 16 explained. "Enough to destroy the planet."
"Those two." Lapis growled.
The soldier regained some cool now that they know they have to listen. "Now, in three minutes Zangya and Kugo will destroy the planet if you don't handover the dragon balls give them to me now and we'll leave this planet."
Kibito looked above at the cyborg and nodded his head
Lazuli nodded back, both of them are on far sides of the planet, they'd never make it in time to stop them, not with just flying at least. "Here's a better idea, tell me where Babidi is and I'll let you go!"
The soldier's face turned blue, why was he given the assignment? "I uh"
"Sorry no time." She fired finger beam, the energy surrounded his body and turned him to ashes. The cyborg flew down back with 16 and Lapis.
"We haven't much time, Lapis, Lazuli!" They put a hand on his soldiers.
Android 16 shook his head. "I will stay in case more come for the dragon balls."
Kibito nodded and vanished with the duo.

Grassy Plains.
Zangya held her hand high, her red energy ball, the Beauty Trigger as big as she was.
A trio teleport in front of her, she sees the cyborg she's been wanting to dismantle.
To her luck the blonde is left behind while the other two teleports away.
She grinned. 'Finally'

Desert.
Kugo had his energy ball over his head, looking down on the desert.
Then the duo appeared, the Kai's boot licker and black-haired android only he had a familiar looking sword.
Lapis stood in front and took out the Brave Sword.
"Must you fight with that?"
"Come on, it'll be funner this way, besides we all know how this'll end."
"Hmm, well destroy him quickly."
"Yeah yeah"
Kibito vanished leaving the cyborg with the hera swordsman.
Lapis looked up at his opponent with a smile despite the giant energy ball in the hand. "Now, you know I can stop that right? So why not just take that energy back and let me fight you sword to sword."
"Hmph" Kugo pulls the energy back into his body and pulls out his own blade. "Amateur, I'll slice your head off."
The cyborg only smirked, he's glad the hera still had that power boost. This'll be fun.

Zangya pulled back her blast into her body and floated down in front of the cyborg.
"I've waited too long for this." Zangya smiled.
"Still angry about the hair?" Lazuli smirked. "Maybe now I'll yank it off."
Zangya only took her stance, her orange hair turned crimson and her skin became sickly green.
Lazuli took her stance planning to end this soon, she scanned her opponents analyzing her next move.

Capsule Corporation
Kibito teleported back into the garden where the namekiens were taking refuge.
"Well done Kibito." Elder Kai said. "Now then, we'll just have to wait for Babidi's next move."
"Yes" Kibito said as he sat with Bulma, Dende, Elder Kai and Elder Moori to watch what will be the final battle.

Hell.
Trunks is watching through a giant crystal ball. 'It looks like Babidi has gotten desperate, he sent his best out in the open. Well he didn't strike me as a good strategist when I met him.'
"This is a waste of time, you're just using this as an excuse to get out of training."
Trunks sighed and looked at his father. "I know how important it is to train but please father like you said Dabura and Bojack haven't shown in line yet, so please I need to know that we've one on earth.
"Hmph" The prince crossed his arms and stared into the crystal ball. He still hated those two androids, not for killing him but for humiliating him. And for leaving Bulma alone with their son, though he will never say that.
Still his son had a point, why haven't Dabura and Bojack shown up yet, King Yemma said that the line was too long right now but people like those two would make noise as them in line and be forced to the front and quickly judged. He remembered how he himself tried to go back down to earth when he arrived here the second time.
He merely narrowed his eyes and watched the events unfold.

The male hera charged and swung the blade downward.
Lapis dodges Kugo's multiple sword strikes, he then blocks a blade coming for his neck with the Brave Sword.
"Your swordsmanship isn't bad." Lapis noted pushing his sword into his opponent's. "Of course, I only fought one other swordsman."
"That boy had nothing on me!" He pulled back his blade and jumped back. "So why use his sword? To the survivors go the spoils huh?"
The cyborg said nothing only fired an energy blast, the hera merely slashed threw it cutting the blast in half, the halves destroyed a couple boulders behind him.
Kugo charged forward he aimed his right hand firing small green energy blasts.
Lapis merely deflected the blasts with his free hand while his other held the blade he jumped as Kugo kicked the ground creating a huge crater of sand and rock.
The devilish swordsman then jumped and swung the blade downward. Lapis merely back flipped holding the sword. Kugo kept charging and slashing after him as he back flipped. Then as Kugo cocked back for another swing, Lapis stops flipping and kicks him forward in the face, it launched him back and crashed against a huge boulder.
"Grr" Kugo opened one eye and jumped off the rock as Lapis slashed the boulder. He glared at the teenage boy looking android. But he smiled knowing that this machine only had the basics down for using a sword and that's being generous.
Lapis stood on the remnants of the boulder and looked up. He did his usual smirk at the opponent and flicked his earring with his free hand. "Hey why the smile? You got something else up your sleeve?"
The green man kept smirking and aimed his blade. "Nothing else but my jewel here is needed. It's a shame that blade's true wielder died before our rematch."
Lapis merely tilted his head. "You do know I don't really need this right?"
"Huh?"
"I didn't bring it to fight you, I brought it because I never got to be in a sword fight, and it's good you know how to use one better than me."
Kugo growled, veins grew on his head. "You!"
The cyborg shrugged. "What can I say, remember my energy is unlimited I can fight for all time while your just an organic with a limited stamina supply." He brought the sword up. "To me this weapon is just a game."

Zangya flew towards the cyborg and kicked.
The blonde brought her arm up to block it.
The two then separated.
The two women charged at each other with punches and kicks both seemed equal.
Lazuli palm strikes her face making Zangya spittle.
The hera then used the momentum to spin kick the cyborg.
Zangya jumped back and had one hand filled with green energy. She fired a Trap Shooter a bunch of mini green energy blasts.
Lazuli sees the blasts coming and used the Android Barrier to block the mini blasts exploded against the barrier creating a huge smokescreen.
The hera knew what the blonde was doing and chastised herself for giving her that opportunity, the android will hide in the dust cloud and strike her from a blind spot. She pushed her hand forward blowing away the dust.
No one was there. Damn it.
Zangya calmed herself and decided to test out Daburack's theory, she opened her hands. 'Phsyco Thread.' The attack surrounded her throughout the trees surrounding her. 'Now just don't move and listen.'
For a few moments nothing, then her left index finger lifted.
"There!" She turned to her left and slide kicked a tree.
Lazuli jumped from behind it as it was launched off its trunk in surprise. 'How did she find me?'
Zangya then fired a finger beam which landed against the android's forehead, it made her look upward. 'So it worked, traitor or not Daburack deserves some credit.'
The enhanced human looked down holding her forehead which had a bruise. "How'd you find me?"
She chuckled as she rose one hand up showing very thin threads.
Lazuli remembered that, it was the attack she tried to drain her energy with, she remembered how one of her fingers moved up as she moved behind the tree. "So, you figured out how to find me huh?"
Zangya smirked. "Ironic, the technique that's no good against you is actually good for finding you." She sees the small burn on her forehead and chuckles. "Sorry about that, your forehead is just so big, I thought it was a bullseye."
The cyborg glared at her clenching her fists.
"Oh what? I didn't upset you did I billboard brow?"
Lazuli calmed herself and remained as stoic as she can be. "I'll enjoy this." She flew forward and threw a fist.
Zangya blocked the punch from the platinum blonde and threw a kick only for it to be blocked as well. "That all-"
The cyborg headbutts her then grabs Zangya's wrist, flips her over her shoulder and slammed her into ground creating a huge spiderweb crack beneath both of them.
"Gah!" The hera then growled and swept kicked her opponent to ground, Zangya then jumps up and fires an energy blast at her head.
Lazuli rolled out of the way as the blast created a huge crater where her head used to be and palm struck her cheek.
Zangya was sent flying and then Lazuli appeared above her with a punch, but the hera caught it and kneed her stomach. She then rose her fists and slammed them on Lazuli's back and she crashed against the ground making another huge crater.
She chuckled as she floated down in front of the android. "Had enough little doll?"
The blonde looked up and glared at her for that comment. "You're so dead."
Zangya waved her hand up and down.

Back in West City.
Up above the residents a tall figure is jumping from building to building, sticking to shadows to not alert his prey.
He had stood on top of a tall building just next door to Capsule Corporation. He looks down at the building, he sees through the garden. 'So the namekiens are here, good, but first I must have my priories in order.' He looked down to see the largest android as well as that Kai boot licker.
The fusion turns his head in two directions. 'Zangya, Kugo your still holding your own, though your energy will begin to wane soon enough, alright that the false sense of security has been planted it's time for me to act.'
He smiled down as he got ready as soon as that servant separates from the kais he'll make his move.

Lazuli charged and threw a kick for her opponent's arm
Zangya ducked under it and kicked forward making the blonde fall back. She then punched her gut launching her upward, finally she pushed off the ground and threw a punch to her gut.
Lazuli closed one eye from the pain.
The hera threw another punch
The android caught it in her hand and spun around still holding her arm. She let go sending her to the ground.
Zangya landed on all fours cratering the ground. She looked up and jumped back letting her foe kick the ground.
Lazuli looks ahead annoyed that she missed.
Zangya charged and flip kicked up her enemy's chin sending her flying then chases after her and knees her as she's still rising. Then performs a series of spin kicks all across her body, she spin kicked for the last time making Lazuli launch forward. She ended it with one last kick down her face making her crash against the earth creating a bigger crater.
Lazuli could not believe the amount of force in those attacks. 'Before she was a pushover now it's like fighting my brother.' She put both hands against the ground getting up.
The hera smiled landing in front of her. "There's more where that came from." She rose one hand powering up a red ball.
The android powered up pink energy in her own right hand.
Zangya pushes her attack. "Beauty Trigger!"
Lazuli does hers. "Power Blitz!"
A gigantic energy clash showed pushing each other back and forth but the pink Power Blitz was pushing back the red Beauty Trigger
Zangya pushed more and more energy into it she was struggling sweating as she kept pushing.
The cyborg smirked, she can sense it, her energy was starting to drain. This fight was over, soon the hera will be swallowed by their combined attack.

The Hera charged downward and swung the blade sideways.
Lapis ducked under the strike and punched the hera's gut forcing him forward.
The alien retaliates with a knee to the android's gut, he uppercuts him and then he slashes downward.
The slash ripped his black shirt slightly a shallow wound could be seen, some blood pourd out but nothing fatal. "Hmm, maybe your actually better." He was never cut by Trunks.
The green swordsman grinned and kicked Lapis's hand making him lose his grip on the sword.
The Brave Sword's blade landed on a boulder and it's hilt pointed up.
"Damn it." Lapis looks where the blade went and turned around to throw a punch at his opponent.
Kugo swayed the fist and placed a free hand over Lapis's stomach, red light emitted from his hand.
"Oops" It exploded sending him forward.
Kogu reappeared over him and slashed making another wound on his chest forming an 'X'. He then attempted to slash again only for the blade to be stopped.
A barrier surrounded the android. "Huh" He looked down at the 'X' blood wound, he sees the sword a couple feet away and looks at his adversary. "Say you wouldn't mind if I get that would you?"
Kugo aimed his blade with a smile. "I'm afraid it's game over for you!"
Lapis shrugged. "Guess it's off to the next game then." He dropped the barrier and took his usual stance.
The hera hated that he couldn't kill him himself but knew that Daburack would be here to surprise him. Oh, the fun it will be just to see that fear written expression.
He charged again at Lapis hoping to land one slash.

Elder Kai , Elder Moori and Kibito were in the garden sitting at a table watching the fight unfold. While the namekiens were playing golf, cards or anything with their children.
Bulma decided to get some refreshments inside the house and Dende wanted to help.
Elder Kai coughed. "Looks like things are wrapping up quite nicely though Just to stay on the safe side., Kibito I think it's best you take the namekiens back to New Namek."
"Right" Kibito walked to the namekien population with Elder Moori. "Everyone please listen , I'm taking you back home where it's safer, Babidi will likely send more soldiers here for you all."
"Leave me behind." One Namek warrior stated. "These earthlings always saved our planet and I'd like to help too."
More namekien warriors volunteered, a couple dozen of them offered to stay to assist in the likely invasion to come.
Kibito smiled. "Very well the rest, come with me!"
All the other namekiens were walking towards him but then stopped.
Kibito glowed purple and screamed.
Elder Kai and Moori all looked to the Kai's assistant.
Android 16 turned to the kai's assistant and sees familiar strings surrounding the Kai's assistant. He charged hoping to get those strings off of him.
"Kibito?!" Elder Kai notices very thin energy threads.
Kibito screamed, he felt something tightening around him, like strings squeezing him and his energy was being sapped away and he doesn't know what. Soon the screamed stopped and he fell and 16 caught him before he touched the floor.
The namekiens all backed away wondering what had happened/
Elder Kai had his mouth opened. "Wh-what was that?"
Elder Moori ran over and put his hands on him. But flinched as he touched him. "He- he's dead."
The other namekiens all surrounded his corpse wondering what happened and who did this.
16 rested the Kai's servant on the ground and looked around for the assailant he knew who it was and was hoping he was wrong. "Stay back!"
Elder Kai and Moori took one side of the garden all looking frightened.
"Ah!" Elder Kai screamed and pointed. "H-how!"
Behind the house was Daburack, he kept his energy hidden proud of the instant death he just gave the assistant. "First you."
16 turned his head, he took a step back unable to believe what he's seeing.
Daburack walked forward and tilted his head. "You are next."

Lapis dodged multiple swipes from an angry Kugo. "Already running low, well it's been fun."
He rose one arm and cut the blade before it can reach his face. He then placed one hand on his chest but stopped. "What, that" He turned his head with widened eyes. "No, that's not possib- gah!"
The hera punched his face and sent him flying.

Zangya was being pushed back by the combined blast of her own and Lazuli's. 'This won't happen!'
Lazuli was having no problem holding her attack back she hadn't lost any energy since the fight began. "It's over." She pushed her attack making the other woman actually touch her end of the beam struggle. But then she stopped and looked in one direction. "What?! Thats, no way!"
That was enough for the hera she pushed with all her might.
Lazuli's eyes widened as the blast made contact with her, she was caught by surprise as the blast swallowed her up.
A huge crimson explosion erupted and can be seen miles away from the forest the sky turned red from it.

Hell.
Trunks mouth was wide open his eyes as well. "But- But I saw him!" That attack was powerful, no one could have taken it point blank. This was why neither Bojack or Dabura were around! They weren't dead yet! He knew it, why couldn't he be wrong?
Even Vegeta was a bit flabbergasted, he grits his teeth and squeezed his fists. 'They failed, and he's right at Bulma's doorstep!'
His fists squeezed at that moment.

Android 16 looked at the namekiens behind him, some scared others frustrated that they couldn't help against this behemoth. He turned back around to face the monstrosity, he'll need to look for an opening to take advantage of and even then, he'll need luck.
Inside the house Bulma and Dende were holding each other out of fear. But the woman shook her head, now wasn't the time to give in to fear, no matter what this freak can't get to Dende, he's a healer and will definitely be needed. She whispered to her friend.
"Listen Dende, you should get out of here."
Dende's eyes widened. "W-what? No!" He shook his head. "Bulma there my people I can't just leave them!"
"I know, I know!" The scientist didn't want to make her friend leave but she knew that it'd be better if at least one namekien healer leave alive. "Listen we might still have a chance, 16 has something new that might give him an edge."
"An edge?" The guardian questioned.
Sort of it's still untested but she had no time to explain what it is right now she needed to make sure that Dende is out of here. "Look just go! Take this and sneak out!" She held out a capsule.
"I- I don't know how to fly those!"
"Dende please, you know we can't lose you!"
The namekien was silent for a moment weighing the options, he can't do anything here, he'll just be another namekien for 16 to worry about. Also, his healing will definitely be of some use. "I- I have a nimbus cloud I can use."
Bulma's eyes widened. "Wait nimbus where-" She shook her head. "Never mind just go, sneak out and don't look back!"
He nodded, he took a step for the door out of the house but paused and looked back at his friend.
"Go now!"
Dende got out of the house and began to run to safety. He'll have to avoid flying get far away enough to call the nimbus so he can go undetected.
In the garden Daburack looked behind 16 at the namekiens and….. the old kai he met on the planet he was created. He'll have to come back for him later, right now he'll ensure he can't escape.
The Demon Hera vanished and appeared behind 16.
The android turned around to see him now in front of them.
"Make a move and I'll kill one of the young ones."
That stopped him, and he glared at the back of this monster.
Daburack eyed the old kai and the namekiens. He said nothing turned back to face Android 16, now wasn't the time to take things slow, that's been he's made that mistake twice. The fusion chuckled and aimed his hand behind him at the namekiens.
16 was getting ready to charge him. "Don't!"
"Relax" A large ball of fire surrounded the namekiens and the elder kai. "There, now they can't escape with my dragon balls."
The large android growled angry at himself for not being of any use, he's still looking for an opening.
Daburack glared at the android, he knew he had no time to waste. "Twice, you have escaped my wrath twice, unfortunately for you" He vanished and appeared in front of the android with his hand aimed at his face. "I've learned from my errors."
16 couldn't do anything as his head and upper body was devoured by a large energy blast that also destroyed a good portion of West City behind him.
Screams and cries could be heard from the unfortunate victims of collateral damage.
When the smoke cleared, the android's head, his entire upper body was missing, and all that remained of 16 was his legs and they fell backward.

"16!" Trunks screamed as he watched his friend be destroyed.
"Damn it!" Vegeta yelled, he didn't give a damn about the machine but now that's one less protector for Bulma. 'This won't happen! Those androids better find a way to fix this!' He looked at his son who looked so distraught. 'Or I will drag them here and put them through real hell! King Yemma's deal be damned!'

Daburack cackled and turned to the scared namekiens. "I'll be back to reopen negotiations about the dragon balls." He floated grinning watching their warriors attack the fire prison as much as they can.
"Now then, let's see if there's still time to save one of my subordinates." Daburack flew in one of the directions where he sensed one of his soldiers clinging to life.
As he left wires started sticking out from 16's lower half... and connecting.
Well I think I nailed my villains return nicely enough. Though I have mixed feelings about that last part. Yeah I might have been able to afford to leave that out and let ya'll guess what his upgrade was. Buuut I thought that if a guest reviewer who loves Android 16 were to want him to remain in the story I thought I just let them know that he's not gone yet, since I wouldn't be able to PM them.
There's an explanation to how Bulma upgraded him that I will save for the next chapter or two who knows, you'll have to wait.
Anyway now Daburack has gotten more savage, he played with 16 last time, now though he's done playing. Also Lapis and Lazuli are two far away to use their potara and still have to worry about their current opponents. And Daburack is coming for one of them or BOTH if he's fast enough.

SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta - Ya they've been dead for awhile, Goku got quite the power boost with just seven years of training in otherworld here he's had a bit more than 10 and Vegeta after recieving that deal to be allowed to train doesn't like to be behind.
FF8cerebus: Like he said you'll have to wait for Trunks to score a hit before he's ready to share. I will tell you it lasted till Goku and some of his friends convinced Yemna to ease up his punishment. They'll still have time to bond, if Daburack get's dealt with.
And yes things are downhill, so what'd you think of 16's upgrade, I promise you that's not the extent of it. That's all I'll say I'll let you figure out the rest.
