Hey guys, sorry for being really late. Work held me up, but I'm going to try to do adds twice a month, no exact date just add twice before the end of the month.
Also, school is starting this coming week, so at the very least I'll do once a month, I haven't figured out a schedule with school and work but I'll figure something out.
Hope this chapter was worth the wait at least.
How to Work With a Grudge
16 on the way to earth was still lightyears away from Earth.
It will take days to get back. But there's another familiar planet that is closer. What were the chances?
He changed his trajectory.
Going here should actually make his trip shorter.
Hyperbolic time chamber
The father and daughter were training vigorously in the hyperbolic time chamber. Iolite had grown more accustomed to her Super Saiyan form. Trunks had her use the same method he and Tarble used when they were training in the Time Chamber. She would keep the transformation as long as she was awake, at first it was hard on the toddler but with motivation to want to help she kept it. And her power rose to heights that Trunks would've deduced to be impossible for a child. Then again she already started out as strong as he was when Gohan started training him.
The two were in yet another sparring match.
Trunks rose an arm to block a kick from Iolite and threw a punch only to hit an afterimage.
She appeared floating in front of the abdomen and punched his gut, then spun kicked his head which sent him flying, she then thrust her arms forward and upward and forward again. "Burning Attack!" She fired a yellow energy blast at her father it was a direct hit.
Iolite smiled, that was the first time she landed a Burning Attack.
Trunks appeared in front of her and punched her in the gut.
She held her stomach in pain. "Not fair... dad, I hit...you."
Trunks powered down to base form and held his daughter's head while she clenched her stomach.
"Sorry Iolite, but you need to realize just because you land a good hit doesn't mean the enemy will stay down. Always assume your next attack won't finish the fight."
That was a lesson he learned more than a few times. And he needed to ensure that his daughter would not make the same mistake.
Iolite fought through the pain like usual, she stood up. "We've been here for 6 month's how come I haven't gotten stronger."
Trunks chuckled, he supposes losing to the same opponent over and over would deceive her from the progress she's made. "No, you've grown stronger a LOT stronger."
The little girl looked surprised, but she shook her head, she thought this was a trick. "What do you mean dad? I can't do anything to you no matter how hard I try." Sure she's landed a couple of hits on him but it never keeps him on the ground he always gets up and knocks her down with a couple of attacks.
"Yes, but I also got stronger." Trunks explained while keeping a proud smile. " Also I've always fought a little harder every day we've been here, and even so you kept growing stronger and stronger." Her progress made leaps and bounds, constantly fighting a stronger opponent made her strength increase rapidly thanks to her Saiyan genes.
Iolite began to look excited. "Really? Then how much stronger have I gotten?"
"Stronger than I was when I started training in the time chamber." At that point, he surpassed Lapis and Lazuli when they fought thirteen but was still behind them since they were training too.
Iolite's eyes widened. "What? Really?"
Trunks nodded with a smile and patted her head. "Yeah you got really strong in such a short amount of time, I'm so proud of you."
Iolite got starry-eyed, she didn't think this evil room would make her progress so much better.
The half Saiyan kept his smile, it looked like she was going back to her old self. He can tell she still has resentment towards him and her mother, but she was beginning to get past it.
"I can't wait till we leave the time chamber, I'll bet I'll be strong enough to fight the evil clones!" She giggled, finally she gets to take part in helping the planet like she always has.
Trunks frowned, there was no way he was going to let her think he needed to stop that mindset right now. He kneeled down to her and put his hands on her shoulders. "Iolite listen to me, no matter what you run with your mom, me or either of your uncles. And you don't fight, you try to escape no matter what."
Iolite's eyes widened then she glared. "What? No!" Iolite yelled. "You just said I grew a lot stronger, I still have six months I'll be really strong later!" She really wanted to help in the fight she didn't want to run away while her family does all the fighting.
"You will but not be strong enough."
"How do you know!" She yelled. "You need to tell me why, remember!"
Trunks sighed, he knew the arrangement he was on. No lies, he needed proof for why Iolite can't take part in this fight. He stood up and walked away from his daughter, she just watched. "Iolite I want you to focus on sensing my energy and compare to it yours, ok?"
Iolite nodded, she knew where her father was going with this and hoped that it was wrong.
The half Saiyan then turned around and powered back up to Super Saiyan instantly, he also suppressed its power to the amount that Iolite has been fighting. "What your sensing now is the power I used to fight you."
She did as instructed and sensed that his power was stronger than hers but not so strong that she couldn't fight back.
"And this" His golden aura grew without it seeming to take any effort for Trunks, and the glow grew bright enough to make Iolite look away. "is my Full Power at just Super Saiyan."
Iolite's eyes widened, she knew her father was holding back in their sparring but this much? She felt like an anthill next to a mountain!
He can tell by the look on his daughter's face that he got his point across. "This is the kind of power you need to even face the clones that you met." And from what he can tell they were the weakest ones being only human clones. "Now, promise me you will focus on escaping then fighting."
She knew that her father was right. This power was completely on another level, she had no idea how far behind she was to her father. Still, she was very stubborn and tried to argue. "But I can still-"
"Iolite," He said slowly with piercing eyes that would make his father proud, it actually made Iolite flinch. He's never been this stern with her until now.
Iolite squeezed her fists she wanted to argue but knew that he was right and the look her father was giving her made her actually fear her father. "O-ok I promise I won't fight."
Trunks sighed and returned to his base form, thankful that she listened.
The little girl looked down, she couldn't look at her father in the eye right now.
Feeling guilty about scaring his daughter he placed his hand on her head. "I'm sorry Iolite it's just, we want you to be safe, one day you'll fight with us ok?" Though he hoped that there wouldn't be a need for more fighting in the future. But knowing the planet's uncanny ability to attract threats made that an impossibility and his daughter would need to fight. He'll just have to make sure she's strong enough for whatever comes next.
"Ok, dad."
Trunks smiled and walked further into the void.
"Hey dad"
Trunks turned to her.
"Yes?"
Iolite put her hands together.
"What are you going to do if they clone Gohan or grandpa?"
Trunks' eyes widened, he didn't think he'd get that question. It's not a question of if, it's when. He sighed and looked at his daughter.
"I'll remind myself that they're just clones and not the real thing and do what I need to do." Trunks responded honestly.
She remembered all those fond stories of her father training with Gohan when he was alive and Vegeta when he was in the otherworld. She hated the idea of her father going against them in a fight. "Do you think there's a chance we can stop it?" She asked hopefully.
The thought of fighting his mentor and father to the death, clones or not didn't sit well with him. Even though he met with the true Gohan and Vegeta he had a sick feeling in his stomach at that. "I hope so Iolite." But he had a feeling he wouldn't get a choice. "Go get some food and rest, I'll be done in a few hours."
Iolite didn't say anything as Trunks flew off to do his training. She may still have some reservations about her father but she didn't want him to go through with all this turmoil.
Outside the chamber, earth's defenders were all waiting in the guest rooms of the hyperbolic time chamber. They decided to rest for the remainder of the day. 'Dende' promised to keep an eye out to see if he can locate them.
Lazuli was in her guest room thinking about today, she considered it a complete failure. Sure they killed the clone Piccolo, but their bigger priority clone Vegeta escaped. She and her brother did everything they could to kill it but even with Zangya's technique, he escaped. Not to mention from Lapis said he refused a power-up that the fake Piccolo got so what would happen if this Vegeta got it. Would it be stronger than Trunks even after the hyperbolic time chamber? Either way, Trunks may be the only one who can fight it. And that angered her to no end, they finally moved past everything, got married, and had a beautiful child. And now Trunks has to fight his fake father to the death. And it was because she screwed up! Why did she get distracted by that fake Piccolo's words? She knew it was a fake, she knew it was dangerous. If she had destroyed it sooner, Trunks wouldn't have to see what they have done to the memory of his father. She can blame Zangya for all she wanted but the truth was the alien didn't screw up, Lazuli herself did.
A knock broke her away from her senses. Lazuli looked at the doorway, she couldn't sense their energy and so she knew who it was. Great, just what she needed, she sat on her bed and looked at the door. "What is it?"
The door opened and not to her surprise Lapis got in, he had a rare serious expression. One she knew she deserved.
"We need to talk."
Lazuli sighed and put her hair behind her ear. "I know" She crossed her arms and looked at her brother waiting for the lecture she knew would come, he did develop a soft spot for the alien over the years even though he knew her grudge against Zangya. She didn't have too much of a problem with it, her brother will like who he likes.
Lapis decided to be straight to the point.
"What was that? Were you going to kill her?"
Lazuli glared but mulled it over. It was stupid, she knew that she didn't know why she did it given the situation.
"I know, I won't do it again." She had meant it but she sounded like it would be a major chore to do.
Her brother kept his serious look.
"How do we know that?"
Lazuli glared.
"Just trust me." Normally that would be all that was needed to be said in their sibling squabbles. But unfortunately for Lazuli, her brother wouldn't let her off that easy.
Lapis shook his head. "I can't do that until you tell me what's been going on."
His sister glared and squeezed her fists. She knows what she did was wrong but she really didn't want this conversation. Not now.
Lapis decided to do some of it for her.
"Look, you and I have gotten pretty good at being more... human." Felt weird saying that. "But maybe you got a little too good don't you think?"
Lazuli's expression softened a bit.
"What do you mean?"
Lapis now had a stoic expression.
"When you were berating Zangya and threatened to kill her." He said. "You did because you have a lot on your plate and let yourself be filled with emotions. Humans tend to take their problems on anyone they don't like when that happens."
Lazuli clenched her fists and turned away. He was right she has gotten soft over the years, ever since she was freed from her programming. In another life she would rarely show emotion, she wouldn't even have a problem with people who would do worse to her. But after being freed from Gero's programming and being responsible for the deaths of millions, before she had the programming she was no saint, she wasn't concerned with right and wrong, hell she probably would've been ok with killing Goku, not because of Dr. Gero's programming but because it might be a decent distraction. But now that she was free of her programming she accepted herself being part human and embraced it for the chance to earn Trunks's forgiveness.
There was a long pause and it meant Lapis could continue.
"Look sis, I get it, ok I do." He explained. "I know you remember watching the things Zazuli did, it was probably similar to being programmed. Am I right?"
Lazuli knew he was right, she did remember it that way. She let Daburack kill humans, put a hole in her brother, threatened the namekiens, and grabbed Bulma's neck. It was a horrible experience, it was too similar to her memories of killing innocents, the Z-fighters, killing Gohan, and... torturing Trunks. She watched helplessly as she did it, her subconscious would question why she was doing it but she'd do it anyway. Even to this day, it makes her sick to her stomach. And that fusion brought bad memories.
Lapis can see that he was right even if she didn't say anything.
"Look before I would've given you space and let you figure this out on your own," Lapis explained. "But after today have to tell me what's wrong, it's fine, you have to put what you have against Zangya aside, right now we need all the help we can get." He explained. "Like I said you've become more human, they usually feel better after talking and junk." The cyborg didn't like that he was the one to do it, but he was afraid those clones would attack at any moment and he didn't want to risk them attacking and Lazuli having issues with Zangya. They needed to nip the problem in the bud now.
Lazuli remembered how she was doing against Clone Piccolo, if the fight had continued the way it started Lazuli might not be here right now. She owes her life to Zangya, she knows that. And the way she reacted was inexcusable. She made the right call, she should not have yelled or try to harm Zangya at all. She didn't want to do this but she knew Lapis was right, maybe she overdid it becoming more human.
"Fine." She confessed. "Trunks accepted me, married me, had a child with me." She remembered the wedding, giving birth to her baby, and raising Iolite. "I started a happy family with someone that should hate me." She grinned at the irony, how many people would be put off by their union? "And now, my daughter had to have been told what happened, she had to know that we were the Androids that ruined everything." She will never forget the rage and tears her daughter had been told what happened. "And now Trunks might have to be the one to kill that clone of Vegeta, it's, it's too much." She said squeezing her fists.
Lapis can see that she was opening up to everything and nodded.
"You're not the only one affected by all this." He sighed, he wasn't used to this. "But, we can't allow anything to get in our way, Zangya has only been helpful."
He was more than right and Lazuli hated to admit it.
"Look, I won't tell you to apologize all I'm saying is work with her and then deal with your issues after this is over." He explained. "All right?"
Lazuli looked at him for a few seconds, her family's lives are on the line. "Alright"
Lapis looked at her for a few seconds and nodded. "And you know, I think we know someone else who was great at working with he had a grudge against. Right?"
His sister looked at him and nodded, Lapis left leaving her to her thoughts.
Baby looked at the Cell Replicator, the source of his plan. A genius creation that was meant to give life to an Android is giving power to his cause. The irony is quite thick. Also Bulma had upgraded the machine a bit, instead of only being able to create one clone at a time it now created three. Originally he wanted to use the Android's victims to kill the Saiyan and his friends, but after finding out that these two had been on Earth he had to have clones them as well. How fitting that these two would join his cause.
'Bulma' came behind him. "Lord Baby I have created what you asked of me."
"Good, and have you found them?"
"It's a big universe, my lord, I might need a couple of days to find it."
'Goku' frowned that but shrugged, letting the body's carefree spirit take over for a moment. "Oh well, everything's working out better than expected anyhow."
'Bulma' bowed. "My Lord, may I ask something?"
"What is it?"
The possessed human continued. "Wouldn't it be wise to attack now? With you and 'Vegeta' here you can easily overpower the two right?"
Baby frowned at that. "Yes that is true, we outpower them however, what 'Vegeta' said has put me at unease." He explained. "Their green girl has a technique that can affect our energy cores." That was something he did not anticipate, he thought 'Piccolo' and 'Vegeta' would be enough to at least destroy one android before they'd retreat. "And also that technique would be enough to destroy me."
'Bulma's eyes widened. "What that's absurd! I'm familiar with Zangya and her power can't compete with yours even without Kaioken."
He looked at her. "Bulma, science is what you excel at not fighting." He lectured. "True 1 on 1 I can destroy but if she were to use her technique on me and I'd have to fight any of the androids I would be in a dangerous situation." The thought that some nobody alien from space would give him trouble sickened him. "With my power core, I can utilize Kaioken on top of Super Saiyan, if she were to use her technique on me even once it would make using Kaioken too destructive. The multiplying power and her poison would tear my body apart. Basically, it cripples me from using my Super Kaioken."
His servant was surprised. "You can tell all that from just 'Vegeta's explanation?"
It was remarkable and he couldn't blame her for being surprised. "These monkeys know a thing or two about fighting." That he had to admit.
"Forgive my ignorance my lord but even so couldn't you just sneak attack and destroy her?"
'Goku' shook his head. "I can't sense her energy since she's suppressing it, I would have to teleport to 'Dende' and find her in the lookout without being spotted." He explained. "It's too risky to attack yet, we'll need to be at full strength when we begin." Of course whether Baby knew it or not there was another reason. He wanted Trunks out of the chamber and to fight him at full strength.
'Bulma nodded and bowed. "Of course, Lord Baby thank you for sharing your boundless insight."
"Of course my servant, now leave us."
She merely walked away leaving Baby alone with the three upcoming bodies.
While Baby had enjoyed the prospect of having two new powerful bodies, there was one, in particular, he was looking forward to having. He walked around the two glass domes to the middle and smiled, he placed his hand on the dome containing what he plans to be his true vessel. "Trunks will be more than happy to see you, 'son'. He gave an insidious grin.
A day had finally passed.
Lapis and Lazuli were waiting outside the time chamber. Both had mixed feelings at what's to come.
The blonde felt anxious, she was glad to see her husband and daughter after such a rough day yesterday, but she didn't look forward to the look Iolite had been given her.
His brother felt similar not as excited but he was as nervous as Lazuli about seeing Iolite since finding out the truth, the little girl used to look up to him and even said much to Trunks' charging that he was cooler than her father. But now after finding out the truth how would she look at him now. He glanced to Lazuli, who wasn't doing much better.
He tried to have her look at the upside. "She had a year, Trunks probably got through to her to some extent."
Lazuli looked at her brother, from the tone she could tell that he was only hopeful. "Maybe yeah."
Both twins just looked at the door until it opened. They steeled themselves prepared for the worst from the youngest in their family.
Trunks stepped out of the door first, he looked the same as ever, his jacket had holes in it and a giant hole on his right knee, he looked at his wife and brother in law.
Lazuli stepped up to her husband and smiled at him. "Missed me?
"The longest year I've had."
She rolled her eyes and gave him a quick hug.
Lapis looked at him and smirked. "So was the room as nice as you remembered?"
The half Saiyan chuckled. "As brutal as ever." He stopped hugging his wife and turned to the door along with the duo.
Iolite stepped from behind the door and stood behind Trunks, she grew an inch and her white and purple gi was in tatters.
Lazuli looked down at her five, no, six-year-old daughter, the little girl looked back at her for a second but looked away. It hurt to see her do that but at least it wasn't as harsh as before.
Iolite looked at her mother and uncle. She had mixed feelings about seeing them again. "Hi, mom, hi uncle." She said without any excitement.
Lapis was more hurt than he looked, she used to be excited seeing him every time. "Hey," He said simply.
His sister looked down at Iolite and got down to her level. She forced a smile. "Hi, Iolite" She would have asked if she missed her but knew it wasn't the time. The woman wanted to hug her little girl but she thought maybe she needed more time.
Trunks didn't like that she wasn't so enthusiastic to see her mother but he knew that she was a child and needed more time to understand why her mother and uncle actively lied to her.
Before they can make their family whole again they'll need to deal with the current threat.
"So anything happened?" The half Saiyan asked.
"Lots"
They took their talk outside the lookout, Iolite sat by her father while he talked to Lazuli and Lapis about what's happening.
"I see." Trunks said squeezing his fists.
Iolite looked up at her father who looked angry, she remembered their talk in the chamber. He said he'll fight the clones and tell himself they're not real, but it looked like it bothered him anyway. She felt bad for him and wanted to say she'll help so he doesn't have to. But she made a promise that she would avoid fighting. She felt angry at this.
"I'm sorry" Lazuli apologized to her husband. "We did our best to stop the Vegeta clone but he was too much. I let myself get distracted during my fight with the clone Piccolo."
Trunks shook his head. "No, I understand don't worry." And he meant it, from the sound of it he will have to fight the clone of his father. But he'll remember that it's just a clone, not the real deal. He met his true father in Hell and he and the clone were different people no matter how the fake would act. And the real enemy Baby will pay.
"These clones are also getting stronger," Lapis explained. "Baby found a way to power them up, also their energy never runs out just like ours."
The half Saiyan nodded. "Don't worry, I didn't waste time in the chamber, I've made plenty of progress."
"Good to hear." The male cyborg replied, though he felt a bit better than Trunks further increased his power, he remembered when he bested him six years ago, now he'll have a lot of catching up to do.
"So you two are out hm?"
The Z-fighters turned to the entrance of the lookout to see Zangya walking out of it.
"There you are, sleeping in?" Lapis asked.
"Please everyone needs their beauty rest every once in a while." The Hera replied and looked at Lazuli. "Some more than others."
Lazuli squeezed her fists but she stopped herself from doing anything. She already threatened her life before, she won't do it again.
"Hi, Zangya!"
Lapis and Trunks were surprised at the amount of enthusiasm she was showing to Zangya. Lazuli was as to and she hated every second of it.
The blue-green-skinned woman looked down at Iolite who was smiling at her. She giggled at the excitement in her eyes. "Well, hello there little girl, did you get taller?"
"Yes, I did! And a lot stronger! Wanna spar?"
Zangya giggled at her enthusiasm. "I'd love to little one but we have to keep suppressing our power so they don't find us."
"Oh" Iolite pouted a little.
The woman kneeled down to her level and patted her head. "Don't be like that, do you want to tell me what you learned from your father?"
The six-year-old nodded excitedly to tell her everything in the chamber.
Lapis felt a bit hurt by the fact her niece was more excited to see Zangya than him, he looked to Lazuli who tried to keep a stoic expression, but he could tell that this was all killing her. He kept an eye on her, he may understand why she may be irked by this but he wasn't going to let her threaten to kill her again. Trunks placed an arm around her to try to calm her down.
Zangya knew better than to leave while Lazuli had a grudge. "You don't mind right?" She fought the urge not to sound smug saying this, she already pushed her luck with her earlier comment.
Trunks looked at Lazuli who wasn't saying anything, she looked at him showing she wanted him to answer. He looked down at his daughter who was giving the face. "Sure, why not?"
"Yay thanks, dad!" Iolite grabbed Zangya's hand and pulled her away from the group.
The Hera giggled as she was being taken with her closer to the edge of the lookout, she was such an adorable little thing.
Lazuli watched the woman she hated to take away her little girl, she squeezed her fists. She still hated her for what happened with Zazuli, and now she hated her for practically stealing her daughter's smile that she'd used to see all the time. But she was happy and going through a lot and needed this.
Her husband put a hand on her shoulder. "Lazuli are you ok?"
She looked at him and Lapis, she remembered what he said. "Yeah, can we talk, alone?"
Lapis took that as his cue to leave. "I'll be in my room."
Once he was out of earshot Trunks looked at Lazuli, he didn't know what she wanted to say but he could tell that she was dealing with a lot. It was a long day yesterday, maybe not as long as today seeing their daughter going off with the woman she hated. He just looked at her waiting to listen.
"Trunks do you remember when you had to work with us? Back before Broly?"
Trunks were surprised hearing that at first, but he looked over at Iolite talking to Zangya, something might've happened while he was in the chamber. He gave a serious look and decided to answer honestly.
"Well, I had to accept that nothing that happened was your fault, it was Dr Gero's doing. Granted I did have a hard time doing it, but I was able to get through it because I focused on trying to move on from everything that happened." He explained and looked at Zangya giggling with their daughter. "The first step was to think of the pros of you and your brother, you made great defenders of the planet."
Lazuli already knew that. "Yes, but you did it so quickly, in just one year, two if you count the time chamber." She looked over at Zangya. "I've had six years and I can't get over what happened."
Trunks looked back at his wife. "Well did you try to accept her as an ally? These past six years?"
She thought back to the six years that have passed. She didn't want her seen at her wedding, nowhere near Iolite's birth, and wanted to avoid seeing her one hundred percent of the time.
"No, no I didn't."
"Then that's what you're doing wrong." Trunks replied. "You have to try to come to terms with the fact that she's an asset, what happened wasn't all her fault and you need her to know she can at least trust you."
She squeezed her fists. "Alright, I'll try."
"Remember, first think of the pros, she's an extra defender of the planet." He explained. "And maybe Iolite too."
Lazuli nodded knowing what she has to do.
Zangya was in the guest room waiting it out. 'Hmm, so bored, maybe I can sneak into Lapis's room.' She smiled at that thought.
There was a knock on the door.
She grinned that she couldn't sense energy. She walked towards the door.
"Oh Lapis I knew you couldn't st-" Zangya stopped at who was really at the door. "Oh, it's you, dolly."
Lazuli fought the urge to hit her for that nickname and sighed. "Listen we need to talk."
The Hera knew what this was about. "Look your man told me it was alright to talk to Ioli-"
"I'm sorry" She interrupted.
Zangya paused for a few seconds. "What was that?"
Lazuli fought not to sigh, she wanted this over with and needed to do this. "I'm sorry for what I did the other day."
The Hera was surprised to hear that, for a few seconds she didn't say anything.
"Are you a clone?"
"No" She responded quickly. "Look, I, let my anger get the better of me and I took it out of you, I shouldn't have since we were able to kill a powerful enemy. We might not have been able to destroy that Vegeta clone."
Zangya felt weird hearing this, it was the first time she heard something not angry or insulting from the android. She merely smirked but without the smarm. "Apology accepted, we all get overwhelmed every now and again."
Lazuli nodded, that was the easy part. "One more thing."
"Hm? What?"
The cyborg wanted to vomit, she didn't want to say any of this, the apology fine, she made a mistake and owned up to it. But what came next she was infuriated that she would ask.
"My, daughter, do you like her?"
"What?" Zangya asked surprised by the question.
Lazuli sighed. "I asked if you liked my daughter?"
The Hera felt the need to ask again what she said, but decided to answer right away. "Well, she's an adorable talkative girl, so yes I'd say so."
"Good" The Android replied. "I wanted to ask if you'll keep her safe."
"Keep her safe?" Zangya questioned. "What do you mean, why can't you?"
"I can and will," Lazuli replied she'd die to do it many times over. "But my daughter doesn't want to be around me right now." She said in a stoic tone, trying not to sound upset. "She wants to be around you, so will you protect her while she is?"
Now, this was quite a shock, two days ago she wanted to kill her, but now she wanted her to protect her daughter? Quite the day indeed. With a smile she replied. "I promise, your little girl will be protected, after all, she is my future man's niece."
Lazuli wanted to vomit hearing that last bit, ok good, so it's over. "Thank you" She turned away to the door.
"Also if I may."
The woman turned to her. Is she going to be bitchy now?"
"Your daughter doesn't hate you, she just needs time," Zangya stated sounding completely genuine.
Lazuli was surprised hearing that, she actually believed she meant that. She merely nodded and left, honestly she still disliked her for what happened. But she had to remember, she was an asset, it wasn't all her fault for Zazuli's behavior and they were dealing with a crisis.
There will be no more slip-ups, they need to focus on the creature that ruined her family life.
Again sorry for being late, hope you guys understand.
Anyhow hope the chapter was a decent read. Iolite still needs more time to accept the lies she was told, and she's being friendly with Zangya because she never told her a lie and her mother said that she wasn't nice, which she believed was another lie.
Also now Lazuli is willing to work with Zangya against Baby and maybe move past her grudge. Her reaction last chapter was a bit much but it was mostly because of all the stress, Iolite finding out Lazuli's lies, having to fight her clones victims, and dealing with the fact she couldn't kill 'Vegeta' before Trunks had to see him. All in a day so she took it out on the person she disliked the most. Now though she's owned up to what she did and is willing to have Zangya be a bodyguard for Iolite.
So now they're all ready to work together against Baby, though he hasn't shown the big guns yet.
Can't wait to show you.
Hope you guys enjoyed it.
Review Responces.
AxDevilman: Thank you! Well Zangya's technique can only last for so long, fake or not it's going to take a lot to bring down the prince of all Saiyans lol.
You'll see soon how Baby will use his clones. Yup, like I said before the clones's personality's effect Baby's eggs, especially someone stubborn like Vegeta and he had an identity crisis.
Glad you enjoyed the conflict, looks like they have an understanding for now, hopefully Lazuli can move past what happened.
Thank you I'm glad to hear that and I hope yo get better!
I-Love-Trunks: I'm sure we're all glad about that. :)
Shadowwriter01: Yup, kinda sad, 'Vegeta' is supposed to be so proud but there's nothing to be proud of if he's just an enhanced clone of our favorite prince. Ya, but now it's been at least postponed, thanks to Trunks who is quite experienced in working together with a grudge.
SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: Ya, our favorite prince isn't so easy to control, fake or not he is still hard to keep a hold of.
Alright guess that's it. As usual, let me know if you enjoyed the chapter or not. Let me know if you got questions, ideas or concerns.
