Hi guys, sorry it took a bit but I'm here now.
Also great news, I finished my semester so I'm free from school. Which means more time to write.
So I hope this chapter's worth the wait here go.
A Fleeting Victory
Trunks looked horrified, he can sense over at the lookout that Zangya's energy plummeted. That can only mean one thing.
"Damn it!"
Trunks's hair spiked up as he used his Ultimate Form and flew towards the direction of change.
'How did this happen?! How did they find the lookout?!' He rationalized that it didn't matter, he needed to get there before anything happened. 'Iolite, Lazuli, everyone, stay safe!'
On the lookout...
Lapis and Lazuli stood on either side of the newcomers that showed up, they hadn't expected to see these two showing up at all, and they weren't sure how they got here.
'They just walked out of the lookout, but how did they get in?' Lazuli thought, her thoughts drifted to Dende. 'Did they get to Dende?' But before anything started she was sure she had to do one thing. She turned to 'Yamcha' and 'Tien' who were inching closer to Zangya and Iolite, she thrust up her hands throwing two powerful energy waves.
But before they can reach them two purple beams intercepted and had them detonate before they can reach their targets.
She glared angrily at the sons of Cold as the brothers appeared in front of the two clones.
'Frieza' began to speak. "You earthlings will have no excuses if you fail."
"So get to work," 'Cooler' added.
'Yamcha' and 'Tien' glared at them they didn't like taking orders from these two, but they were useful to Lord Baby and so needed to be tolerated. They stared down at the wounded Zangya and the scared Iolite.
Zangya stood up with the small hole on her chest, she can heal from this in time but with this wound, it'll be hard to use her Psycho Poison, also she'll be protecting Iolite, those two Arcosions are going to keep the Androids occupied. She'll just have to hope she was still strong enough to fight the two clone earthlings.
"Out of our way!" Lazuli yelled as she ran at them.
'Cooler' threw himself at her and blocked a punch from her with both arms, the force from the attack cracked plates on the lookout and the lizard-like alien cringed from the amount of force behind it.
"Need a hand brother?" 'Frieza' teased.
"Silence!" He yelled as he fought to push back the female cyborg. "You keep the boy off of me!" He then got into a struggle with the girl.
'Frieza' rolled his eyes at the order and smirked at Lapis. "Ready to die?" He asked taking standing with his arms out, one foot in front of the other, and with his head held high, it was the pose that spoke volumes on how the tyrant carried himself.
"Tch" Lapis threw himself at the clone of the tyrant.
Lazuli kicked across 'Cooler's face and then palm struck the other side of his face to send him flying, she tried to get to the human duo near her daughter only for 'Cooler's tail to be wrapped around her leg and the Arcosion swung to send her flying away.
The sibling duos then clashed in exchanges of punches and kicks leaving the Tuffle humans with Iolite and Zangya.
'Tien' floated down on either side of the two as did 'Yamcha'.
"Hand over the girl, your the only one our lord has no interest in." 'Tien' demanded. "Hand her over and we'll let you leave this planet."
Zangya chuckled, in the past, she would definitely have taken this offer, but Lapis and 16 were good at softening her up. Not to mention the little girl hiding behind her.
"Iolite no matter what happens stay behind me."
Iolite heard her speak but shook as she spoke. "U- um alright!"
The Hera heard the hesitancy in that, of course, it was the first time she was brought to a life or death battle. Protecting her might be difficult, but she'll manage. She eyed her opponents.
'Yamcha' and 'Tien' simultaneously rushed her on both sides.
Zangya rose both arms to block a punch and a kick, she felt those strikes and she still felt the pain on her chest. Yeah, this'lll definitely be hard.
'Frieza' fired a Ki blast from his finger only for the cyborg to deflect it.
Lapis then punched across his face.
'Frieza' retaliated by firing energy from his eyes hitting the android in the chest and then punching him across the face.
The human cyborg recovered quickly and grabbed 'Frieza's' shoulder and gut-punched him making him double over, he did it two more times before knocking him away with his joined hands across his face. As 'Frieza' was launched Lapis fired an energy wave that hit him did on.
'That should be enough.' He turned to see Zangya struggling against the humans but heard a sound and moved his head as a purple beam missed his head. He turned around to see Frieza still floating barely hurt from his brief assault. 'I don't understand, Piccolo was stronger than the data said Freiza was, so even as a Cyborg we shouldn't have a problem.' He rationalized he can figure this out later. he flew down at him to enter another exchange with the Arcosian.
'Frieza' chuckled as he swayed a punch and ducked under a roundhouse kick and swung his tail in Lapis's face that sent him flying.
Lapis managed to stop his momentum and sees 'Frieza' charging purple energy at his finger.
The tyrant fired a barrage of Death Beams.
The enhanced human dodged or even deflected some away from him but not without difficulty.
'He must have the same power-up the fake Piccolo had.' He reasoned as he deflected another beam and flew at the tyrant. He threw a punch only for it to miss
'Frieza' then punched and hit across his face.
Lapis retaliated by a kick up his chin and another across his face.
Angrily, the clone of the tyrant started throwing punches which Lapis had no trouble avoiding.
'He gets angry easily, even more than Vegeta ever did.' He noted. He then caught a punch and shoulder threw 'Freiza' away, he then aimed his hand forward. "Photon Flash!" The yellow energy wave fired.
'Frieza' righted himself as the energy wave came racing towards him. He smiled as he kicked it, sending it upward pass the lookout. He smirked at the Android and chuckled.
'Great' Lapis noted, this clone was even stronger than he believed.
The tyrant raced upwards towards his opponent.
Lapis threw a punch only for the clone to vanish and reappear behind him.
Before the Cyborg can turn around he was punched from the back into his spine.
'Frieza' chuckled darkly as he wrapped his tail around his neck and began to squeeze.
Lapis felt the appendage around his neck and he grabbed it trying to remove it but to no avail.
"Ohohohoho" 'Frieza' laughed. "You see? Even though we are both androids it's clear which one of us is superior when given the same components."
The enhanced human tried to ignore his gloating as he struggled with the tail wrapped around his neck.
The clone of the tyrant threw more and more punches across his back using him as a punching bag.
Lapis calmed down and put up a barrier that surrounded the two of them.
'Frieza' stopped mid-swing and looked around the green shield around them. "Oh? What's this supposed to do?"
Lapis just fired an energy beam in front of him, it exploded on contact with the barrier and it stung the tyrant's tail.
"Ah!" The white lizard-looking clone grabbed his tail from the pain.
The cyborg then let the barrier dissolve as he spun kick across the tyrant's face and punched his chest, he then opened his hand to fire a powerful energy wave into his chest.
'Frieza' grit his teeth from the and tried to throw another punch.
But Lapis swayed to the side and punched him into his stomach making him double over. He then kicked up his chin to send him flying. He vanished and reappeared where he was headed and kicked up his back and vanished above where he was headed which can be seen from the lookout and slammed his fists into his stomach to send him downward, he hit the edge of the lookout which caused it to shake.
As Zangya was fighting the two enhanced earthlings the lookout shook causing the 'human' duo to stop their assault and jump away from their opponent.
The Hera was surprised to see them stop and turned her head to see Iolite still behind her, good she was worried she inherited those tendencies that almost got her father killed by her crew.
"Frieza!" 'Yamcha' yelled. "Be careful!"
'Frieza' floated from the edge and glared over the human. "Silence maggot! Once I'm done with this one your next!"
The bandit froze as he heard that, he forgot that even though it's a clone, it's still Frieza.
'Frieza' turned back to his opponent who recovered and was throwing himself at him once again.
With a devious grin 'Frieza' blasts another Death Beam.
Lapis sways it only for Frieza to appear right next to him with his right hand aimed at him and his left-hand holding his right wrist.
He smiled as a yellow energy ensnared Lapis.
The Cyborg felt imprisoned, he couldn't move his body, he was trapped.
"How do you like it? Ready to play?" He remembered the last time he used this technique was on Goku on Namek, he'll have fun using it to kill this Android before moving on to him. He kicked the ball sending Lapis away.
Lapis cringed from the pain but couldn't move in his orb prison.
'Frieza' appeared ahead of where the ball was heading to and swung his tail sending the ball away. He did this multiple times until finally Frieza swung his tail downward sending the Cyborg plummeting downward.
Lapis screamed as he touched the ground in some forest the yellow energy exploded around him making him feel intense pain throughout his body. A crater formed from the explosion.
'Frieza' laughed at him down below. "Do you see now why I am superrior?"
'Lapis' got up and he was a mess. His shirt has holes on him, he was missing his right sleeve and his orange ascot was gone. This was tougher then he thought.
'Damn it, it feels like they got us.'
At the same time, 'Cooler' and Lazuli were having a clash not far from the lookout.
The two were throwing punches and kicks at each other then Lazuli flew back to get some distance.
She fired her Infinity Bullet a barrage of pink energy blasts as she flew back.
'Cooler' sees them coming and fired a purple energy beam from his eyes and dragged it across the many energy blasts that were heading his way causing them to explode before reaching.
"Tch" Lazuli was frustrated, she remembered a bit about Frieza but had no idea on Cooler. 'Great, they're stronger than they should be.'
"I must say, we greatly underestimated your planet's technology." 'Cooler' looked at his hands, he opened and closed his them "To think they can make our family's power to such staggering new levels."
"Enjoy it while you can!" She dashed towards him and threw a punch only for 'Cooler' to sway and smack his tail across her face on each side and her legs making her spin. 'Cooler' then did a flip with his tail and slammed it on top of her head sending her downward.
'Cooler' smirked as he rose a finger preparing a Death Beam.
Lazuli flipped and righted herself in the air and fired two energy blasts on opposite sides to fly towards the Arcosian.
'Cooler' saw this and flew downward as the blasts connected, he then saw Lazuli appear right in front of him.
She quickly kicked him across his face, up his chin, and winded her leg up to ax kick down on top of his head and sent him downward.
The Tuffle Arcosian roared as he caught his momentum and rose his chop hand to create a slice of purple energy towards his opponent, his family called it Death Wave.
Lazuli couldn't dodge in time and so caught the fissure attack between both hands. With great effort, she blasted it between her hands to destroy it.
'Cooler' appeared behind her and threw a backhand.
Which Lazuli saw coming. "Nice Try!" She duck underneath the strike and spun kick across his face, she then kicked straight into his chest to send him flying, she then flew towards the Arcosian with her hands above her. A pink energy ball formed between her hands, she managed to fly just above where 'Cooler' and slammed her Power Blits on top of his chest, it created a large explosion that lit up for miles, the lookout was glowing pink from her explosion.
Lazuli floated above where she sent Cooler down, she couldn't tell if she finished him since she can't sense his energy. But her daughter needed her. She turned towards the lookout.
"I applaud you for a decent effort..."
Lazuli's eyes widened she turned around to throw a punch but it was caught by a massive purple hand.
She couldn't help but gasp at the sight. She sees 'Cooler' only he was bigger, his chest plate was bulkier, his wrist armor gained sharp ends, and most notably his head almost looked like a star, it was like some sort of a crown. She also notices his eyes turned blood red and he had a grin on his face.
"...but it all ends now." He also had a deeper voice. Then a mask formed from the sides of his face to complete the transformation
Before Lazuli could do anything 'Cooler' slammed a fist across her face and it sent her spiraling away.
On the lookout Zangya was having trouble, she was losing a lot of blood and doing her best to keep the two clones away from Iolite. She wanted to use her technique that saved Lazuli from the fake namekian but her power was too diminished to try it now. She had to fight with her failing energy
She rose an arm to block a punch from 'Tien' only to be swept kick by 'Yamcha' from behind.
'Tenshinhan' then punched into her stomach forcing her back but she caught her momentum and powered up green energy from her hand, it was her Trap Shooter technique. She tossed it and it turned into mini green energy blasts.
The duo blocked with their arms as the blasts hit them.
Zangya panted as she took a knee. That should've been enough, she looked behind her to see the little girl still hiding behind her.
"Zangya! Are you ok?"
The Hera was in immense pain, had anyone asked even Lapis she would ask 'What does it look like?!' but from her, she felt like she should tone it down. "I'll be fine I just need to rest." She turned to the cloud of smoke where the Tuffle earthlings were. 'That was enough power to kill them, like the two midgets.'
The smoke cleared and it showed the duo with only a few scratches and bruises.
'Oh shit.'
"Ha!" 'Yamcha' chuckled. "Lord Baby didn't just power up the aliens, he juiced us up to!"
"So you know it's over," Tenshinhan stated with a smirk.
She felt like it was, she looked to the sides of the lookout hoping that the twins or Trunks would show up, but no one was here that could help them. She turned to Iolite who was looking more scared by the minute, part of her wanted to have her help. But she can tell that she wouldn't be of much use with her current level. One on one this wouldn't be hard but them at the same time was beyond her, if only Iolite had gotten stronger.
Never thought it'd come to this. Nor that she would do this.
"Iolite as soon as I charge them, go hide."
"What but-"
"No time to argue go!" Zangya yelled as she threw herself into the fight.
The two earthlings engaged with the Hera in a combination of punches and kicks.
Zangya tried to throw an elbow across 'Yamcha's face only for 'Tien' to grab it and punch her gut.
"Wolf Fang Fist!"
She was being beaten by 'Yamcha's clawed hands and he finished it with his clawed hand forward sending her forward towards 'Tien'.
The clone had his hands clenched together and low. "Volleyball Fist!"
He slammed his fists up sending her upward, he then flew up and palm struck her up, and flew higher to spike her down.
She skidded across the lookout and stopped until she was at the edge, she looked to see that the black-haired one had his hands out in a certain way.
"Spirit Ball!" He tossed it.
Zangya moved over it and tried to run towards the bandit in an attempt to attack her.
'Yamcha' smiled as he pulled two fingers towards him.
Zangya was within striking distance when the ball hit her in the back of the head.
Then 'Yamcha' moved his two fingers in multiple angles to attack her with the ball.
'Tien' floated above her with his hands in the shape of a triangle. "Keep her just like that Yamcha." It started to glow yellow.
Iolite watched as Zangya was being beaten by the duo, she wanted to go help but her legs were shaking, she just wouldn't move. Those two were so fast she couldn't see them move. Also, she can sense Zangya's energy, she's leagues above where she's at now. How can she help? She was just too weak. But then she sensed something else, she turned in one direction. It was her father, he's coming. Yes! He's so strong he'll blow them all away with his new power. All she has to do is wait for him can save Zangya!
'Please, dad! Hurry!' She begged.
Trunks was flying as fast as he could, he can get there in seconds. But then he hears a sound, it sounded like an energy blast, that he couldn't sense. He stopped as the blast just barely missed him.
"Not bad reflexes."
He knew that voice, he knew this would happen sooner or later. He gave no reaction to the voice he didn't even turn around.
Behind him floated the clone of Vegeta in his armor and blue spandex. He glared annoyed at his 'son's' lack of response. "Face me, boy."
Trunks didn't turn around, he only spoke in a threatening voice. "Baby, I don't have time for your games."
'Vegeta' grew a vein on his forehead. "How dare you, that is no way to speak to your fa-Gah!" His eyes widened, he looked down to see Trunks with his fist buried in his gut.
The half Saiyan then pulls his arm back and slams his hands on his head sending him crashing to the ground.
Trunks then thrust his arms down and performed his usual arm movements for his signature. "Burning Attack!"
He fired the yellow energy bomb down below at the 'prince' it created a gigantic explosion that can be seen from space. If the attack wasn't focused it would've easily destroyed the earth along with the entire solar system. He remembered how Lapis and Lazuli described the clone of his father's strength. By their estimation what he did just now should be enough to vaporize him.
Now he needed to get to the lookout.
Trunks turned and began to make a dash for the lookout only to notice a fist coming for his face. He rose his arm to block it, and it had a suprising amount of power behind it.
"I will NOT be ignored, boy!"
That is how his father would respond. But he knows that it wasn't him.
And he will destroy this pretender.
Iolite can sense that her father stopped and is actively fighting. It must be one of the clones. 'Oh no'
She turned to see Zangya still getting beaten by 'Yamcha's Spirit Ball. Now all Zangya has is her.
But she was too weak? What can she do?
She thought back to her training from her father.
There has to be something she can do.
Some time ago in the time chamber during Iolite and Trunks's training.
"Iolite, while I do want you to avoid fighting, it's important you know there are times where you have to help when you can." Her father explained.
"But you said I won't be strong enough to fight the clones, so how would I help."
"Yes it's true but that doesn't mean you won't be able to help someone else turn the tides." If strength was the only thing that mattered he should've died several times over. "But there are techniques that can help you assist others no matter how strong the enemy."
Iolite still didn't like that she wouldn't get to fight but at least she can help in some way. "Ok fine!"
Trunks chuckled at his little girl's whining but got to teaching these techniques.
Iolite was shaking, she knew that she can help. She's in the perfect position, the enemy doesn't see her she knows what she has to do. But what if she messes up? What if Zangya had a plan and she could mess it up? She wanted to go over the edge of the lookout and see if her mother or uncle could help them but if they could they'd be here already. And her father wasn't here yet, he might not make it in time. She looked at 'Tien' whose hands were glowing yellow light.
Zangya took the Spirit Ball in the face. 'This attack is too strong, if- if I can get an opening I could end this!' These clones were very strong but she knows if she can take down one of them she could end it with them. But this attack was too strong. What can she do?
Iolite sees that the attack from the cyclops is about to be fired so she made her move. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the first technique she learned.
She heard her father's words in her head and focused. 'First is telapathy, it'll be hard to do but all you need is a few seconds when you're hidden from view you can alert whoever you want what your about to do, this technique saved me a couple of times when I needed to warn someone without announcing myself to the enemy.' Her father explained. 'Just use your energy to project your thoughts into whoever your focusing on, you might only be able to use it on someone near you until your better at it but that might be all you need.
It hurt her head but she managed to connect to Zangya and yell in her head.
'Zangya close your eyes!'
The Hera heard that but she heard it in her head. It was Iolites. She had no other options so as the ball hit her chin she closed her eyes, hoping she can make it and the girl won't do anything stupid.
'Tien' smiled as his attack finished charging. "Tri B-"
Iolite powered up to Super Saiyan and jumped above Zangya and Yamcha. Both of the clones had their eyes on her.
'The next is a technique that you need to master before we leave, it's something that's saved me and the others many times.' He described. 'It's even saved Goku and a couple of his freinds.'
"Solar Flare!"
The technique blinded both 'Yamcha' and even 'Tenshinhan', he didn't expect the girl to act let alone use his technique.
'Yamcha' covered his eyes and his Spirit Ball was sent to the sky.
Zangya opened her eyes as soon as the attack stopped, she can move now, she looked at 'Yamcha' who was blinded and up at 'Tien who's eyes were all clased in pain, then back to Iolite. She tilted her head to get back to hiding. The little girl wanted to argue but knew it wasn't the time, she powered down to normal state and hid behind one of the towers.
The woman then wasted no time, she dashed towards 'Yamcha' and threw a knee up his gut, she then grabbed his head and shoved his face in the ground. She didn't have time she had to finish him now but she couldn't afford to waste her decreasing energy, she looked up to see 'Tien' with his hands positioned the same way. She had an idea.
'Tien' can't see her or sense her energy. 'Damn it! Listen for it, if you can't see her or feel her, then hear her.'
"Ready for the end?"
That was her voice he fired his Tri-Beam knowing it would be enough to finish her.
When 'Tien' opened his third eye with strain he sees a body in the middle of a crater but it wasn't anyone he expected.
It was 'Yamcha', he was on his back and while he can't sense his energy he can just tell that he wasn't breathing.
'Tien' felt a chill down his spine. "Lord Baby, I'm sorry we've failed."
"Yes, you have."
He turned around to throw a punch only for her to catch it and kneed him in the gut and kicked up his chin.
"Now to finish it!" She was running out, she powered up her red signature attack.
'Tien' was starting to be able to see and put his hands to his head, he was getting ready to use Solar Flare to escape and hide so she can waste her energy before killing her.
But before he could, he heard the voice of the little girl. "Burning Attack!"
He sense the energy coming and turned around to deflect it away from him. He looked down at the girl who sneak attacked in her Super Saiyan form.
Zangya took her opening and tossed her energy attack. "Beauty Trigger!" She fired her technique, the orb exploded against Tenshinhan as he turned around to try to stop it.
As the ball was pushing him he glanced at the little girl who glared back but he could see the fear in her eyes. 'We had the simplest job but we couldn't do it!' He thought in frustration, the girl was helpless, easily the weakest, and yet she was able to distract him! And because of this failure, he wouldn't live to see their revenge into motion. 'Please. Make them suffer and bleed out my lord.' He was incinerated from the attack.
Zangya floated downward until she was on the ground.
"Zangya you did it!" Iolite yelled happily but she saw her start to fall over. She went over and caught her by her shoulder. She was unconscious. "Zangya? Zangya?" She looked at the blood leaking from her wound. Her eyes widened
Lapis and Lazuli were sent plummeting down.
The brother and sister crashed into the ground of a forest not far from the other.
They were very injured, if it wasn't for their infinite energy supply they would've been unable to get up. Slowly the duo got up, Lazuli was bleeding from the head a line of it went over her right eye. Lapis's arm was bleeding, his shirt was missing a sleeve and blood was dripping down his mouth.
"Lazuli I think they're stronger than us."
She didn't want to admit but she was right, she remembered how powered up Piccolo was, as much as she didn't like to admit it without Zangya's technique she wouldn't have been able to win that fight.
A deep, somehow refined voice spoke. "An astute observation." 'Cooler' said floating with his arms crossed.
'Frieza' floated next to his brother and chuckled. "When you fought the other clones, the monkey was able to assess your powers, then with his technique, he was able to deduce how much power we needed to kill you."
"Not bad for a monkey." 'Cooler' stated.
"Ohohoho, indeed brother."
Lapis and Lazuli stood up to face the Cold brothers.
"Any ideas?" Lazuli asked.
Lapis looked at the duo, he remembered their earlier interactions and what they just said. "I do have a couple actually."
If either of them doesn't work there dead.
Though little did they know that was the least of their problems.
Far away where Trunks is...
A cloud of smoke was in the air Super Saiyan 'Vegeta' flew out of the smoke covered in his own blood, his right leg was bent in an unnatural way He knew that Trunks had to be strong but this was ridiculous. He even had his power boosted by Ka- Lord Baby and yet there's still a large gap between him and his son.
He felt enraged that all he can accomplish was buy time, he was looking forward to disciplining the brat after the sacrilege he performed with that damn machine.
When the smoke began to clear Trunks was floating in a stance he was familiar with.
"This wasn't exactly how I thought I'd finish you, but it looks like I didn't need to try out anything new." Trunks had his hand left positioned over the right and purple light formed in his hands. He was going to use the Galick Gun.
'Vegeta' growled and performed his own Galick Gun. "Insolent child! You don't deserve that technique! I will kill you!"
'You performed your task well, escape now.'
'Vegeta's eyes widened and scoffed he wanted to finish the fight now. But he knew it'd be pointless, so he'll do as ordered this time. Without going full power 'Vegeta' fired his Galick down at the earth.
Trunks was caught off guard and stopped powering his Galik Gun and flew down at the blast fired by the clone. He made it in time and kicked the blast upward.
The attack was set to space harmlessly away from it.
When Trunks turned to see where the clone was he was nowhere to be seen.
'What was that?' Didn't matter, he had to reach the lookout, he'll destroy the clone next time he sees it. He flew off wondering why the clone escaped like that, it may have seemed like Baby didn't want to waste another body after Piccolo but he can shake the dread he was feeling.
Whatever the case he heads to the lookout at full speed.
Back at the lookout.
Zangya slowly regained consciousness, she heard crying she looked to see the purple-haired girl crying. It made her feel even more hurt, she placed a hand on her head getting her attention. The green girl smiled.
Iolite smiled and hugged her. "Zangya, I- was scared, I thought that-"
Zangya smiled and ruffled her hair. "You did good, you saved me."
Iolite giggled, she did it, she helped in her first battle.
"Now, come, let's go find little green, we need him to heal me."
Iolite giggled. "Uncle Lapis calls him that... to." She slowly remembered the situation her family's in.
The Hera ruffled her hair and smiled at her to keep her happy. Honestly, years ago she would gag at the thought of being attached to this little thing but, it wasn't so bad.
"Let's go find him!" Iolite said helping the teal-skinned woman.
But then a thought got to Zangya. "Wait"
"What's wrong?"
So much happened that Zangya didn't pick up what happened earlier. Those Arcosians came from the lookout, and it happened while Trunks was away. "Iolite we need to carefully get away from here."
"Huh? Why we need to get to Dende."
"No listen, I think Baby is here, he's possessed Dende!"
Iolite looked at her shocked. "B-but how do you know that?"
"They want to be careful with the lookout, right now we need to stay hidden, alright."
Iolite for the first time in a while wanted her family here now, even with her strained relationship she badly wanted her mother and uncles here to protect them. She never knew the first time she could help would make her feel so helpless. She tried to help Zangya up and try to find a way safely down the lookout without being detected.
"That was very good, you two were awesome." A cheery voice said.
Iolite didn't know that voice, but Zangya did but it was only briefly the last time she heard it. They turned around and Zangya's eyes widened with fear, as did Iolite's she's seen this man in pictures and knows that this wasn't really him.
It was a man with spikey black hair, earing orange and blue gi. It was the clone of Son Goku.
"Oh right I never told you my name did I?" He giggled and scratched the back of his head like the real one always had. He looked down at Iolite who looked beyond scared. "Hi, you gotta be Iolite, I've been friends with your grandma, wanna see her?"
Then 'Goku' gave a hideous smile the real Goku wouldn't do.

So Trunks really has gotten OP right now, the only reason 'Vegeta' was able to stay alive was because 'Goku' granted him energy from the Spirit Bomb but it wasn't enough to match him only stay alive longer.
And now Iolite proved that she can be useful... only for Baby Goku to show up. Sorry, Iolite, sometimes the bad guys have their sights set on you, and with Dende as a spy there was no avoiding him getting to you.
Also the twins are struggling against the Cold Brothers away from the lookout so there busy.
This might not end well.

von: In this story the dragon balls can't bring back anyone before a year they rather exclusively use the dragon balls to revive people because then if some disaster would happen like someone very powerful shows up and murders a large sum of people that same day they'd use the dragon balls then those people that died that day wouldn't be able to be brought back to life or if it's the next day then those people would have to wait in the afterlife to be revived for a whole year or atleast half a year. I'm aware that it's not canon but back then I thought it was and it was too late to change things really. Good question though I admit I didn't think of that back then lol. Zangya doesn't have a lot of background in official dragon ball lore, so she's useful for world building. I'm glad I'm doing it in a way the readers can appreciate her character even though she doesn't have much in the franchise. Ya I get what your saying, glad u liked it.
Well her training did pay off...but well, 'Goku' might ruin that. Hope u atleast enjoyed how she contributed.
