Whew, sorry for the extra week guys, this chapter ended up needing some more thinking. Hope I did it right.
Also it's my longest chapter. Over 8000 words without Author's notes.

Ironic Legacy
Iolite stirs as she wakes up.
For a few moments she blinks and wonders where she is, she looks around to see that she was on a bed, a small one clearly meant for a boy. She looked around the room she did not recognize it. She suddenly remembered what happened and immediately jumped out of bed and looked around.
Last she remembered was going after Gohan's clone only to see nothing the next. Did the clone kidnap her! Is Baby here?! She was frightened for herself and her mom. Was she safe? Should she try to escape? So many questions that no six-year-old should ask.
She then panicked as she heard voices from out of the door. She ran to the door and listened in. It sounded like a woman. She barely opened the door and looked at the duo.
It was an older woman maybe close to her grandmother's age was sitting looking sad but with a smile. And across from her was Gohan's clone and he was smiling. But not like the smile Goku's clone made it looked happy. 'What is happening and who's she?' Did Gohan know her or something?
'Gohan' though not alright in the head still was capable of sensing energy. He looked at her.
Iolite panicked and closed the door, a little too hard in fact there were even some cracks on the door. She was terrified and didn't know what to do. Should she run? Where? And what would she do?!
"Hello?" A woman's voice spoke.
Iolite didn't say anything too scared to reply.
"It's ok, come out, we won't hurt you." The woman spoke in a soothing tone, almost sounding like her mother when she tried to get her to calm down.
Iolite decided to slowly open the door to see the woman was kneeling down with a friendly smile on her face. The little girl slowly walked out but not without looking at Gohan's clone and he or it was smiling at her, also friendly. It was weird, she was scared of the clone but for some reason, it felt as if the clone was happy that she was here.
The woman kept her smile. "Hi, my name is Chi-Chi what's your name?"
Chichi? Where did she hear that name? "M-my name is Iolite."
"Nice to meet you." Chichi said with a smile. "Is Trunks your father?"
"Y-yes" She said. "How did you know?"
"Well, you have the same hair color as him and your eyes" She looked at her sadly for a moment but continued. "are like your mothers." She said with a friendly smile.
Iolite didn't notice the hesitancy in mentioning her name and looked over at Gohan's clone who was still smiling. "How do you know him?"
ChiChi faltered for a second, she wasn't exactly comfortable right nor but she wanted to save face for the child's sake. "Oh, well you see, I'm Gohan's mother," Chichi admitted.
Iolite's eyes widened. Of course Chichi the mother of Gohan, how could she forget? Well, she's never seen her, in fact, this is the first time she met her, all she knew about Gohan's mom was that she lived alone and preferred to never come to the city, she thought she was just too sad because Goku and Gohan were gone. She looked over at 'Gohan'. Is that why Gohan's clone was here? Did it think it was Gohan? She looked over at 'Gohan' who still gave her the friendly smile.
"Are you ok? Would you like something to eat? I know how much Saiyans need their food." ChiChi offered kindly.
"I um" Normally she wouldn't turn down food like her father but she eyed the clone and looked back to the widow. "N-no I'm fine Miss ChiChi." She was so confused, should she tell ChiChi? Grab her and run? Was she possessed by Baby to?
ChiChi nodded and looked over at 'Gohan', her expression faltered for a bit but she smiled. "Gohan, do you think you can get some firewood, you remember where your?"
'Gohan' nodded and stood up and spoke struggling to do so as he always did thanks to his limited brain. "Y-yes" The clone left.
ChiChi looked at the door for a few seconds and then looked back down at Iolite.
"Iolite, can you please tell me what's going on?" She asked. "Who was that, and why does he look like Gohan?"
Iolite was shocked when she heard that. Up until now she didn't think that ChiChi knew something was wrong. She looked at ChiChi and opened her mouth to tell her what was happening. But something stopped her, she saw how happy ChiChi was with Gohan a bit ago and she couldn't bring herself to say it. It just didn't feel right to tell her what was really happening. From what her parents told her ChiChi preferred to live alone far away. She never came to visit her father even though she was his master's mother. But even though she was young she was clever enough to understand. Her mother and uncle killed her son, and she didn't want to see them. She saw the smile she had before she was reminded of her, she seemed so happy. Why should she explain it to her? It's not like she can help, she wasn't strong enough to. What's the harm in letting her pretend? No! She has to. She remembered the pain of finding out the truth after years of lies. The little girl was determined not to cause the same pain she feels. She won't make that same mistake her mother did.
That's what she intended. "T-that is" she stopped. It was as if what she wanted to say was stuck in her throat. 'Say it!' She yelled in her mind. 'Say it! Say it! SAY IT!' She yelled in her mind over and over again. But she couldn't and she didn't know why. Why's it so hard to tell her the truth, it's what her parent's shoudl've done! "I..." Then Iolite acted on impulse and spoke.
"I don't know." Iolite lied, just like her parents lied to her. After that she started crying tears left her eyes and she couldn't stop. All of this was too overwhelming, she still didn't know what happened to her mother, was taken and now she felt forced to lie to the poor woman in front of her and now she was thinking she was treating her family horribly for something she just did! Why? Why was she so angry if she couldn't tell the truth.
Then ChiChi hugged Iolite seemingly out of nowhere.
"It's ok" ChiChi shushed soothingly trying to calm the little girl down. "I don't know why youre upset but it's ok."
Iolite felt the hug and hugged her back and started crying.
ChiChi knew that this was 18's daughter, but she also knows that this little girl was innocent and in pain. Something she couldn't just do nothing about.
The widow pulled away from her once she started to calm down and explain.
"You don't have to tell me, but I do know that is not my son." She said to her with pain in her voice. At the funeral she attended her son was missing an arm and wounded from his last battle with the androids. There was no mistaking that her son had died that day. "I don't know what's going on, but I do know that we need your parents here, can you have them come here?" She asked.
Iolite had been suppressing her power level this whole time because she knows that monster Baby is still around and looking for her. But if her mother was alive she needed to see her. Now. And if not her father can be here to stop 'Gohan' before Baby finds him. She nodded to the woman.
"Good, bring them here ok?" ChiChi said with a smile and turned. "Oh, G-" She stopped. "He's here, I'll cook you something, don't worry I'm used to making feasts for two." She said giggling but with a sad tone.
Iolite watched the woman she had calmed down from the hug but she looked down ashamed at what she did.
Back in the mountains
'Cooler' fired multiple Death Beams at 16.
The Android fired Ki from his eyes at each beam destroying them before they could reach him.
Several chunks of earth were thrown at him by 'Cooler's telekinesis.
16 threw punches at all boulders that were thrown at him to dust.
As 16 punched the last boulder 'Cooler' appeared in front of him and punched him in the abdomen making him keel over, he then threw several quick kicks in his chest and swiped his tail to knock him upward.
16 caught his momentum mid-air and sees 'Cooler' dashing at him with his hands out.
The Android caught the fists as he was pushed further in the air by the enhanced Arcosian.
'Cooler' then rose one knee up to 16's chin, then kicked him so hard his body turned around, then he kicked at his neck sending him away spinning, as he did 'Cooler' fired a few Death Beams this time they were hitting their mark.
16 was hit in the right shoulder, left leg, and neck.
"Breaking down already?!" 'Cooler' asked as he appeared in front of him and grabbed his arm. He then elbowed across his face making 16 fall back as his arm was ripped off., 'Cooler' then chopped at his left leg cutting it off as well, and used his eye beams to hit the neck forcing the head to come off.
'Cooler' then aimed his hand down at the Android. He knew how dangerous it was, the monkey fell for its ability to grow stronger, but he will not, he learned from the monkey's failures."Be destroyed!" He fired off a powerful Ki blast.
16 fired Ki beams from his eyes aiming to hit a vital part.
His eye beams hit directly into 'Cooler's eyes.
"Raaaaahhh!" He misfired his blast and destroyed a mountain nearby. He grabbed his face in agony purple blood leaked from them. "Y-you! How dare you!" He screamed.
16 was slowly getting reattached as the now blinded Tuffle Arcosian tried to grab his face. Now he was blinded, he can have more time to regenerate.
"This won't save you!" He yelled as he raced down towards his foe.
As 16's arm and head were reattached he moved out of the way.
'Cooler' was now relying on his sense of hearing to guide him where 16 was. He fired a powerful energy wave.
The Android then flew up as his new leg was grown back.
'Cooler' appeared in front of him and threw many punches and kicks all of which were still a bit much for 16, he couldn't dodge and barely defended himself. And every time his block was hit by his punch he could feel his arms breaking from the impact even while blinded 'Cooler' was still vicious and was likely trying to keep his power core from making him too strong. If this keeps going he'll be destroyed before he can manage to do what he needs to.
16's eyes then tried to throw a punch.
But 'Cooler' rose his tail to block it and punch his fist into his abdomen shoving his hand deep into his mechanical body. He cackled. "You see! No machine can destroy me!" He yelled as he tried to shove his hand deeper and deeper.
16 then fired his Rocket Punch sending the hand of the arm that 'Cooler' was holding away before having it flying back and grabbing the back of 'Cooler's neck!
'Cooler' was taken by surprise by this as he was forced to let go and was about to be sent flying with the hand attacked to him.
But before he could 16 grabbed the top of 'Cooler's head while the neck was trying to fly with 'Cooler' body.
If 'Cooler' still has eyes they'd be widened. "W-what! No! I will no-"
Then in a gory display 'Cooler's head was ripped off while his body was sent flying held by his Rocket Punch. The hand then explodes in distance creating a huge current of wind.
16 looked down on 'Cooler's head and to his surprise, it still talked.
"I-impossible I m-made sure y-you couldn't get stronger!" He yelled.
"Power is only one way to win." After all, Lapis just beat 'Frieza', '16 then tossed 'Cooler's head and aimed his blaster's arm, and fired a powerful Ki wave to end the Arcosian's misery. The Android then looked over at Trunks who had a moment to look at him. "I'm sorry Trunks, however destroying 'Gohan' takes priority."
"I understand." Trunks replied as he turned back to 'Vegeta'. "Lapis contacted me" With telepathy. "He's going to let me know when he's ready to destroy the clone once he does I'll take care of this one." He said referring to the clone of his father. "We can't let either clone be destroyed first otherwise their power will go to the other, so we'll destroy them at the same time."
16 nodded. "I'm heading my way to them." He flew off.
Trunks turned back to 'Vegeta' who was grinning despite having half his armor destroyed.
'Vegeta' chuckled' as his veins popped up. "Good, do you really believe you can take me as I am now boy?!" He could feel half 'Cooler's power into him and it made a real difference.
The half Saiyan didn't answer, he saw how 'Cooler' and 'Frieza' were dominating their battles and with 'Vegeta' absorbing half their combined strength made this problematic. But he thought of his daughter in danger, it didn't matter he had to do it. He powered up, determined to be ready to destroy 'Vegeta' and be done with 'Baby'.
'Vegeta' felt the power coursing through him and flew at him.
The two caught each other's fists and pushed each other.
Trunks was actually struggling against him.
'Vegeta' grinned seeing that he finally can fight back. He then bashed his head against Trunks's, making him lose his grip, grabbed his shoulders kneed his gut, pulled it back, and elbowed his back sending him downward.
As smoke came up, Future Trunks immediately flew back up and tried to uppercut the fake prince but he flew back as he missed.
"How about we start with your father's thoughts about the woman?" 'Vegeta' asked the half Saiyan.
Trunks didn't say anything and fired a Ki blast.
'Vegeta' dodged and kept talking. "The woman was annoying, she always got in the way of his training."
The half Saiyan threw a punch.
'Vegeta' blocked it and chopped at his neck.
Trunks groaned in response of that.
'Vegeta' then elbowed across his face and spun kicking his face which sent him flying. "He viewed her as nothing more but a distraction, but due to frustration he gave in to her."
The Ultimate Saiyan stopped his momentum and growled but he calmed himself. He needed to play defense until he was told it was time to attack.
The clone of his father charged forward and continued. "Once they had their fun you were the result!" He threw a straight punch which Trunks dodged, then a knee aimed at his stomach, Trunks blocked it. "And when the woman told him that she was pregnant, he scoffed not caring at all about you!"
Trunks faltered for a moment.
'Vegeta' took advantage and punched him across his face than from the other side of his face.
Trunks growled as he caught one of the punches and kneed up 'Vegeta's chin.
'Vegeta' retaliated by jumping and kicking his neck, he then jumped him and punched his face sending him to the ground with his face to the ground. "What's wrong boy? Do my words hurt you?"
Trunks glared up at him angrily. This thing that was pretending to be his father was disrespecting his father's memory, he doesn't doubt that these words were true, he understood his father and knew the kind of man he was. Keyword was.
The half Saiyan then powered up pushing 'Vegeta' off of him. He then stood up but kept himself calm. He needed to wait, hold off 'Vegeta' but survive, he'll destroy him when it's time. He rose his arms to show that he was ready to block.
"Oh? So you're not willing to attack? Weak!" He yelled, 'Vegeta' dashed forward planning to teach his 'son' a lesson.
ChiChi's House
Iolite looked at the woman as she greeted the fake Gohan who had put a large tree nearher front door. She watched her thank Gohan.
Iolite had eaten a huge bowl of meat and rice that ChiChi made really quickly and devoured them like her father and grandfather would.
She then stopped supressing her Ki and to send a signal for her parents. She looked at ChiChi who smiled while she ate.
"Did you like it?" The widow asked, watching the young girl eat reminded her of old times.
Iolite looked at her and smiled the first time since she got here. "Uh, huh."
"I'm glad." She then looked over at her 'son' who was watching without asking for any food. Looks like she found one other difference between her son and whoever this was. She then looked down when she saw Iolite left the table and pulled on her pant leg.
"I-I'm sorry for lying." Iolite said crying a bit.
ChiChi looked at her with a sad smile. "Don't be, you just didn't know what to do right? You didn't want me to be sad right?"
Iolite nodded seeing how hard it is to tell the truth and recognizing why her family did what they did.
ChiChi eyed her 'son' wondering who exactly this was and wondered what it wanted.
"H-he's a clone."
She turned to the little girl.
"He's a clone of the real Gohan, a bad guy wants to hurt us and he made these clones to fight us." Iolite finally admitted.
ChiChi smiled sadly and patted her head. "Thank you for telling me." Whoever this monster was she hoped he would be taken care of, though she wondered why this clone wasn't hurting them.
Iolite knew that this wasn't important but she had to ask. "Do you hate them?" The woman looked at her. "My mom and uncle? Do you hate them?"
The older woman looked at the little girl and knelt to her. "I used to, but I know now it wasn't their fault."
"B-but why haven't you visit Trunks then?" She couldn't help but think ChiChi was also lying.
"It was just hard for me. Hard for me to see them, I know it wasn't their fault but I just, I couldn't bring myself to see them." The widow said sadly fighting not to shed tears. "But listen Iolite, it maybe hard for me but that's because I didn't bring myself to know the real mother and uncle you know. Can you tell me that your mom and uncle are evil?"
Iolite thought of that, she always thought her mother and uncle were good fun people just like her father. And they were not under any control. She answered. "N-no."
ChiChi smiled. "Then there's your answer." She said patting her head, she hoped she had helped the little girl with whatever she was dealing with. She didn't know exactly but she got an idea and wanted to help her overcome what was happening. She gazed over at 'Gohan' and turned back to Iolite. "Listen go wait outside for your parents, can you do that?"
Iolite nodded and went outside to wait, once she did she tried to focus. She sensed her father was still far away, probably where her uncle Lapis and 16 were as well.
As ChiChi was clearing up she heard something coming from 'Gohan'. "What was that son?" She asked feeling weird calling him that.
"S-sorry"
ChiChi was genuinely confused. "About what sweetie?"
'Gohan' didn't say anything for a few moments, it was as if he was thinking what to say next, after what felt like an eternity he finally spoke. "L-leaving"
At first ChiChi didn't know what he meant. But then she started to realize. "Oh, no Gohan, you shouldn't apologize for that." ChiChi said finally getting close to the clone. "I know you did what you had to, I just wanted you safe." She remembered how as a child Gohan had used a radio to listen for any Android activity and he would always leave only to be too late to see the city's were already in ruins, he would always come back crying and she would console him that he did as much as he could and he shouldn't feel bad for that.
Then in later years when he became an adult he stopped coming home and started living in the forests training for his next encounter with the Androids. And all of that lead to his demise. She started crying at the thought of her Gohan suffering while all she could do is cry and hope for him to come back.
"I-I'm so sorry" ChiChi said even though it was a fake she felt the need to say it. "I was against your father training you, I-if I had let him train you would've been stronger and you would've saved all those people, and m-maybe have had a happier life." She didn't know for sure but she knows he would've been more prepared and it pains her knowing that. "The androids didn't kill you, it was my fault!" She started sobbing, tears rained down her face, why was she so stubborn to force her son to study? Why couldn't she let him learn from his father? She's never felt so ashamed.
A hand gently wiped her tears away, she looked at 'Gohan' who also seemed saddened. And hugged his mother.
ChiChi returned the hug this wasn't her son but it did feel nice. She hated whoever created this clone but at the same time, it was so nice to hold her son again. Even if he was a fake.
But then he noticed something outside.
Outside
Lapis and Lazuli arrive in front of the house and see Iolite standing unharmed.
Iolite ran and tackled her mother. "Mom, Uncle Lapis!" She yelled happily.
"Are you hurt?" Lazuli asked, and she shook her head. She then looked over at Lapis. "Your both ok?"
Lapis sees his niece crying and tries to calm her down. "Yeah kid, we're alright."
The happy moment stops when they turn to see 'Gohan' was standing outside the door with a glare that promised death.
It spoke this time he did not hesitate. "17! 18!" He gritted his teeth at the sight of them having their clutches on the little girl! He needs to destroy them here and now to protect her and his mother. His hair spiked up and become yellow unleashing an incredible amount of power that couldn't be sensed.
But Lapis and Lazuli had to cover themselves from the sheer might of Super Saiyan 'Gohan'.
The half Saiyan flew forward.
Before they could do anything 'Gohan' spun kicked the two of them across the face sending them forward.
"Stop it!" Iolite flew in front of the the half Saiyan Android.
'Gohan' looked at her confused. Why was she helping them? Does she not know their the androids? That must be it. The half Saiyan put his hand forward and created a barrier, the same technique he used in his last battle with the androids only instead of himself he used it to surround someone else.
Iolite was trapped in the barrier and punched it trying to get out.
'Gohan' wanted the girl safe so he pushed the orb aside letting the girl punch it.
"No! Stop it please!" Iolite shouted in the barrier while tears were coming out of her eyes.
'Gohan' then cupped his hands in a very familiar position. "Ka... me..." A blue orb of destructive energy formed.
"PLEAST STOP IT GOHAN!" She yelled as she started blasting the barrier but to no avail.
"Ha... me.." He ignored the girl's cries, he had to do this!
"LEAVE MY MOMMY AND UNCLE ALONE!" She yelled as she thrashed in the barrier.
THAT made 'Gohan' faulter. She looked at the girl in the barrier, their must've been some mistake. But as he looked at the little girl he looked over at the androids, he saw them get up and sees 18's facial features on them. No that couldn't be right. He needed to finis this!
He was about to thrust his hands but.
"Stop!"
'Gohan' did when ChiChi hugged his back.
The twins looked surprised not expecting to see ChiChi.
'Gohan' stopped glaring and turned over to the woman. "M-mother?" Why was she telling him to stop? He can end them now!
"Listen to me Gohan, there, they're not evil anymore, they've been protecting Earth while you've been away!" She yelled trying to convince him.
The siblings were surprised that ChiChi of all people was defending them and managing it!
'Gohan' growled and walked out of her grip and walked towards his prey.
But ChiChi yelled something that resonated with the clone. "Remember Piccolo!"
'Gohan' stopped walking and remembered the man he knew as his second father. The man who trained him only to die protecting him from Nappa and die again by the Androids.
"Remember he tried to destroy the world to but Goku spared him, and he, he changed for the better!" She yelled hoping that this could get through to him.
'Gohan's eyes began to twitch as if disturbed from this information. This caused him to lose focus and his barrier surrounding Iolite faded freeing the little girl and she ran to the androids.
Lazuli sees Iolite and welcomed her in her arms but she took a step back as he brother looked ahead wondering what to do. They just stood their ground not wanting to endanger the little girl.
ChiChi didn't stop there she wanted to make sure that 'Gohan' wouldn't hurt them."And Vegeta, he, he gave you Trunks, he was like a little brother to you!" She yelled. "If he hadn't done that, who else would you have had?!"
He remembered Trunks, Vegeta was cruel but if his own father Goku hadn't spared him he wouldn't have gotten his best friend.
"Please, just leave them alone! I promise they're not like how you remember." ChiChi begged.
'Gohan' looked at the androids shaking, he wanted to destroy them but he sees that the girl isn't grabbed she's clinging to 18 and begging not to hurt her. 'Gohan' put his hands at his sides while still glaring at the duo.
"Gohan" ChiChi got his attention. "Go inside, I need to talk to them, please."
'Gohan' looked at her and this time he was going against her wishes. "N-no"
"Ok, look, just look out the window I'll be safe you'll see."
'Gohan' thought for a moment but looked at the Androids, they knew they were no threat to him and valued their safety. He slowly walked to the house while eying them but his expression softened when the little girl looked scared of him. It didn't stop him from looking out the window from in the house though, he wanted to make sure that his mother and the little girl would be safe.
ChiChi sighed and turned to the duo, who looked stunned. She didn't say anything just looked at them for a few seconds then she looked down.
Iolite had stepped in front of her and hugged her leg.
"Thank you for saving my mom and uncle." Iolite said she really was scared of what 'Gohan' was going to do to them.
ChiChi smiled and kneeled down and put a hand on her head. "Your welcome, and you are a brave girl. You must make your parents very proud." She said looking at Lazuli.
Lazuli reacted surprised to see how civil ChiChi was being around them.
"I know what's going on, Iolite here explained it to me."
Lapis decided to speak. "I, we're sorry that he got here we didn't want you to see him."
"I'm sure" ChiChi replied and looked to see 'Gohan' staring through the window glaring at the androids, she turned back to the duo. "It's not safe for him to stay is it?"
The twins couldn't say anything, both of them felt guilty for what they've done to her. Controlled or not her son was taken by their hands, they are the reason she is alone.
"We're sorry but no he can't." Lazuli explained, who knows when this clone will be in possession of Baby.
"I wasn't asking if he could." ChiChi said with a bitter smile. "Just tell me this, did they clone my Goku to?"
They hesitated, they weren't sure what to tell her but Lazuli decided to let her know. "They did but, he, he was-"
"Destroyed?"
"Yes"
ChiChi looked at the duo and sighed sadly. "Good" She replied and looked back to make sure 'Gohan' was where he needed to be. "So where's Trunks? Do you have a plan?"
Neither said a thing while Iolite was looking very uncomfortable, just being with ChiChi for less than an hour she knew that this nice old woman didn't deserve this.
"We" Lapis began feeling apprehensive about how to do this. "We can take care of him if we're given time."
ChiChi nodded. "Alright, look, I'll keep him distracted and you two do what you need to do."
"Wh-what?" The brother asked.
"ChiChi" Lazuli said. "You'll be caught, you wouldn't survive."
"I know" ChiChi gave a smile. "And when that happens, will you leave me be?"
The twins weren't sure what she meant by that, but then they looked at Iolite and were shocked by this. She wanted to die? And stay that way? No, they couldn't kill her after taking her son.
Lazuli was about to open her mouth to try to talk her out of it.
But the elderly woman rose her hand. "Look, everyone, I love, my father, Goku, and" She glanced back to see the clone of her son. "Gohan, they're all gone, my family is gone. Maybe, I'll get to see them in the Otherworld." She said looking up and then back at the duo. "And listen, I don't know how this means to you but I forgive you, I should've accepted that what happened wasn't your fault and I'm sorry for not doing it earlier."
Having been told that Lazuli was shocked. She remembered how she was when they last met. Now though she seemed to tolerate or rather accept her and her brother's presence.
"Tell me what are your names?"
The twins were shocked they didn't think she'd care to hear their names.
"Lazuli" She eyed her brother and nodded.
"Lapis" He said not looking her in the eye.
ChiChi smiled. "Those are much nicer names than numbers. It's nice to meet you both, I wish I got myself to know you before." She said apologizing. "Thank you for protecting earth as long as you have been free, and please keep Trunks safe alright?"
Lazuli nodded as did her brother.
ChiChi knelt down and put a hand on Iolite's head. "And you, be a good girl and protect your family alright?"
Iolite was sad to hear that she would get hurt trying to help them but she nodded.
ChiChi smiled as she stood back up. "Lazuli, tell Trunks that you two have a very beautiful daughter."
Lazuli looked at her and nodded while Iolite was grabbing her leg. She put a hand on her head to try to calm her down.
ChiChi walked away leaving the stunned twins to join her 'son' in the house.
"We, we should get ready," Lapis was uncomfortable, he was a bit shook at this, he hated to idea of killing 'Gohan's mother, and more so that she wanted to stay dead.
Lazuli nodded and looked down at her daughter. "Let's go."
The trio then flew off to some distance, once they were far away enough Lazuli and Lapis both aimed their hands at the house ready to push their energy cores.
"Iolite, fly away, we don't know how big the explosion will be." Lazuli instructed her daughter.
The little girl stood their sad at what was happening but she nodded and flew over the forests near the home.
Trunks and 'Vegeta' were throwing punches and kicks at each other.
As 'Vegeta' blocked a punch with his forearm he grinned as he punched Trunks in the stomach. He then threw multiple straight punches into his gut, then he uppercuts him sending him flying. Then he pointed two fingers at Trunks in the air.
The half Saiyan saw this and dashed away as an explosion appeared where he was floating. He was familiar with that move his father used on him in Otherworld in their sparring.
'Vegeta' then raised his hands and fired many energy blasts while charging at him.
Trunks deflected or dodged everyone on his way to him.
Once 'Vegeta' was close he chopped his hand towards Trunks' neck.
Trunks ducked under it and elbowed 'Vegeta's gut causing him to keel over. He then punched his stomach kicked his side and then uppercut the fake prince.
Once 'Vegeta's head was up he then headbutt Trunks, then he punches him in the stomach and kicks him across the face.
Trunks then grabbed 'Vegeta's leg and pulled the imposter to throw a hard right hook, he then smashed several punches into the fake 'Vegeta's gut several times before flipping downward and smashing his head with his clenched fists.
'Vegeta' crashed shaking the entire landscape around the two fighters.
The half Saiyan flew downward across where the Tuffle Saiyan landed and looked at the column of dust. He turned to see a Ki blast coming for him. He crossed his arms to block it.
The fake prince appears from behind.
Trunks turned around to throw a punch only for 'Vegeta' to sway it. He then punched across Trunks's face, then kneed his gut, he then kicked at his sides. He then filled his hands with energy and trusted them against the hybrid's chest.
But the half Saiyan recovered and grabbed 'Vegeta's hands and put them to the side as he fired Ki from both hands destroying the mountains behind him. He then pulled 'Vegeta's hands down and raised his leg, hitting his forehead against his knee, he pulled again to hit his knee again and headbutt the fake prince while letting him go sending him flying.
Trunks then thrust his hands forward. "Buster Cannon!" He fired a yellow wave of energy.
'Vegeta' caught himself and sees the wave coming. He didn't dodge it instead he kicked it sending the wave upward and flying at him.
The half Saiyan threw a punch only for 'Vegeta' to duck over it and punched him across the face sending him skidding across the ground. He pushed himself up.
But 'Vegeta' was already behind him and aimed his hand forward against Trunks's back in a familiar way. "Big Bang Attack!" He faired the energy bomb at point-blank on Trunks' back. The bomb carried him across the battlefield. He hit a boulder and it created a giant shining explosion that could be seen from space.
'Vegeta' cackled at his handiwork.
Once the smoke cleared Trunks has seen his jacket was in tatters his blacktop had some holes in it.
"Well aren't you the worse for wear." 'Vegeta' noted.
"You're going to look a lot worse." Trunks retorted.
"I doubt that!" 'Vegeta' charges at his son again and throws a punch in Trunks's face making him stumble back, 'Vegeta' then flips upside down in the air and vertical kicks Trunks' shoulder, and finally throws a straight punch at his chin making him stumble back even more. Then 'Vegeta' flies back and fires two energy blasts.
Trunks recovers and tosses both of his Ki blasts aside.
Trunks crossed his arms and blocked a punch from his fake father.
The fake prince kept throwing punches and kicks while Trunks was blocking the strikes, some of them landed much to his dismay.
"You're fighting better than I expected, I recognize some of your moves as my own!" 'Vegeta' noted almost proudly.
"I did learn" Trunks then ducks under a punch and throws his own into 'Vegeta's gut. "from my real father!" He then kicks the fake prince upward and rushes him from below and delivers an upward kick up the fake prince's stomach.
As 'Vegeta's eyes were bulging out of his head he couldn't help but recognize this combination, it was another one of his own.
Trunks then quickly pulled his leg and floated above him and elbowed down his head, this sent him downward and crashing against the ground.
The fake prince did feel damage but he noticed something about those strikes and smirked.
Trunks flew down with his foot down.
'Vegeta' rolled out of the way as Trunks' foot hit the ground creating a large earthquake.
Trunks then threw a few punches.
'Vegeta' chuckled as he caught a kick. "You seem to have gotten slower."
Trunks growled as he tried to throw a punch.
But 'Vegeta' tossed him into a mountain.
Trunks panted heavily. The clone was right he wasted a lot of energy, he was trying to stall until he got the message that the others were ready to destroy 'Gohan'. Somehow. He knew that plan was unrealistic, but it's the only chance they had. They needed to destroy them both at the same time.
While Trunks was catching his breath 'Vegeta' took advantage of this and aimed two fingers forward. Rings flew out of his fingers.
The rings flew and attached to Ultimate Trunks's arms, legs, and neck. They tightened binding him to the mountain.
'Vegeta' walked up to him with that classic grin. "Hmph, since you seem exhausted are you willing to listen now?"
Trunks knew that his father liked to talk and realized this could be a way to regain some stamina. "Like anything could stop you."
"Such disrespect." He chuckled as he slapped Trunks' face a couple of times.
"You know boy, I may not exactly be your father but I know how would feel if he were aware of you now." 'Vegeta' talked. "The man who died in this time. Tell me while you were with that woman were you afraid of what your father might think."
Trunks didn't say anything he just glared at the clone.
"After they killed me!" He punched him across the face! "After they killed your mother's friends!" Another punch. "After they killed several of your precious Earthlings!" Another punch. "And let's not forget Kakarot's brat!" Another punch. "And you had offspring with her, you can't tell me you don't feel the least bit of shame!" He drilled a punch into his gut.
As Trunks listened while he was fully aware that this was not his father, he was somewhat right. When he and Lazuli became an item he had reservations at first, yes he accepted that they weren't at fault. He knew they weren't at fault. But a part of him did find it surreal at the start of their relationship. He would remember the battles he had with 17 and 18.
'Vegeta' then punched him straight in the gut.
"You are disgusting to create offspring with a woman who humiliated and broken you for so long." 'Vegeta' stated. "But don't worry once you are finished, I'll make sure my granddaughter will be a proper Saiyan unlike you!"
But after the battles with 17 and 18 Trunks remembered everything they've been through. The battle with 13, Broly, Daburack. More than a couple of times they risked their lives to save them. During the fight with 13 he remembered Lazuli being protective of him. Showing that she did indeed want to be different from Android 18. And both she and her brother proved it. She was not the monster that took everyone from him, after everything they've been through he knows that being with her wasn't wrong. He had found peace and reason to be with her.
And this clone was not his father and he had no right to judge their bond!
Trunks roared as he pushed himself to break free from the energy rings.
'Vegeta' looked surprised as he did so.
The half Saiyan broke free and threw his hands in a quick familiar pattern. "Burning Attack!"
'Vegeta' crossed his arms to block it as it pushed him back, with all the force he could muster he diverted the attack upward.
But as he did Trunks appeared in front of him and grabs his shoulder. He pulled him in and uppercut him, then he flew up after him and punches down on his head sending him down, he then flew back to the ground and spun kick him before he hit the ground sending the fake prince skidding across the ground.
'Vegeta' dragged his hands on the grand as he skid and looked up to see him flying at him.
Trunks then appearred in front of 'Vegeta' and an ax kicked down his head. He then fires an energy wave.
But 'Vegeta' rolls out of the way and jumps with a knee out to his face, he then punches him across the face a couple of times before punching into his stomach. Then he fired Ki against his abdomen sending him flying, he flew after him with his hands clenched together.
Trunks regained control in the air and rose his arm to block the attack from the clone of his father. And punches him in the stomach, this caused the fake prince to keel over once again with spittle coming out. The half Saiyan then kneed him in the stomach and roundhouse kicked him across the face and flips upward with a kick up 'Vegeta's chin sending him flying in the air.
As 'Vegeta' flew he coughed from the blows.
Trunks appeared above where he was going and slammed his hands down sending him downward.
Before 'Vegeta' could hit the ground he caught himself and flew upward.
Trunks threw a punch but 'Vegeta' caught it in one hand, the fake prince threw his own but the half Saiyan caught the other. The two were locked in a contest of power with no sign of the other giving up.
'Trunks we're ready!' He got a telepathic message from Lazuli.
Trunks then swung 'Vegeta' around until he was further away.
"Alright, this time I'll completely annihilate you!"
"What's that boy you think you could destroy me however you wish?"
"Let's find out!" He yelled as he rose one arm with his hand in a chopping position.
'Vegeta' noticed this while he was on the ground. "What is he doing?"
Trunks thought of his time in the hyperbolic time chamber. When he was training by himself not only was he getting stronger he was also creating a new technique one that solved the curse he seemed to have with swords. And while he did he thought of a fitting shape his new technique to be in.
He flooded his hand with crimson energy and it began to shape. It was similar to an anchor with an arrow pointed up, and two halves of one-pointed at both sides of it, two lines separate underneath and a half circle underneath. It formed a symbol that the prince would recognize.
'Vegeta' recognized it right away. "You, that, what is that abomination!" He felt mixed feelings at the sight, his body felt a sense of pride while the Tuffle in him looked at it like it was an affront to him and all the Tuffles. He recognized what it looked like it was always painted in blood over buildings in the Tuffle Saiyan war whenever those monkeys attacked their cities.
On Trunks's hand appeared a large version of the royal Vegeta family crest over his hand. But it wasn't complete yet, he flooded even more energy into it, the middle arrow of the symbol grew longer, making a blade with the Vegeta family crest as it's base.
"You know full well what this is!" Trunks yelled still holding his new technique over him. "When I was in the time chamber I kept thinking of how to beat you and if I could what would be appropriate to finish you off specifically!" He yelled. "You! Creating a copy of my friend's body, my father's body, trying to pretend to be someone your not, pretending to be Saiyan royalty even though your supposed to hate us!" He yelled. "Now, I'm going to use the royal family's symbol to destroy you!" He said viciously.
'Vegeta' growled at the sight of the energy blade and cackled. "Say what you want boy, but you know that everything I said about your father is true, and you bred with the sister of his killer you can't possibly say that your doing this for your father!"
Trunks didn't say anything at first before grinning. "You cling to the man my father was, I know who he is today. You keep saying Lapis and Lazuli were murderers but they've told me what you've done, how you use their conscious to get an advantage, you know who they are. All you do is cling to the past, while I focus on the future."
"Enough!" 'Vegeta' yelled as he takes a position that Trunks has seen in Otherworld multiple times. "Your father believed that you were unworthy of that symbol you filthy half-breed! And I'm going to prove he's right!"
Trunks didn't say anything and waited. But then he got the signal.
"Ready!" Both Lapis and Lazuli yelled with telepathy.
Trunks dashed downward towards his 'Father' with his energy blade behind him.
"Final Flash!" He fired a large wave of energy at him.
Trunks swung his blade and yelled. "Royal Blade!" His attack sliced through the energy wave splitting it making it go to two directions out of earth's atmosphere.
Then Trunks made it to 'Vegeta' and his Royal Blade peirced him in the chest.
'Vegeta' looked confused he didn't even know what just happened, he looked down to see the blade deep in his chest.
Trunks hated the site but he knew this wasn't his father and knew he had to finish the job. He rose the blade cutting the clone of his father and then sliced in multiple directions making multiple lines across 'Vegeta's body he then appeared behind him with his hand held up, the middle arrow of the symbol shrunk, reverting back to the royal family symbol.
Behind him 'Vegeta' exploded leaving nothing behind.
The symbol on his hand faded, the his hair went down and he reverted back to base, he put his hands on his knees. He felt a sense of dread from this fight, he knew that wasn't him. And he knew his father would've wanted him to end the clone of him. And he did it fitting for someone pretending to be him.
He needed to make sure that this was over.
He sent a telepathic message. 'I got him, is it over?' He didn't have enough energy to fly to them, and so he needed it to be over. He can't help otherwise without their healer.
Lapis and Lazuli looked at the destroyed home that they took care of. They hated that ChiChi died in the process but it was the only card they could play.
"Do you think we got him?" Lapis asked hoping all they had to worry about was Baby.
Lazuli didn't say anything only looked around the surrounding house nothing looked out of place.

They heard the sound of someone landing and turned around.
It was 'Gohan'! holding ChiChi in his hands. He didn't say anything only glared at the two.
If 'Gohan' avoided it then Trunks destroyed 'Vegeta' and that means that he gained his power.
This terrified the twins and they wondered how the clone could avoid it if he couldn't sense their energy.
"Gohan, listen" ChiChi begged the clone of her son. "It, I" She was trying to come up with a way to stop him from hurting them but couldn't figure out what to do.
'Gohan' turned to her mother. "I love you, mom." He said without any struggle.
ChiChi heard those words and didn't even notice that he wasn't struggling to talk right now. And she felt a sense of dread from him when he said that.
The widow lit up in pink energy and disappeared. Just like that, the wife of Goku, mother of Gohan was gone.
The twins were horrified at what they'd seen, either 'Gohan' was losing it or, their worst nightmare is here.
'Gohan' looked at the twins and grinned in an evil way that the twins were familiar with by now. And they knew who was in the body to make that face.
"As I said before," He said in Gohan's voice. "You can't destroy what I really am." He spoke part of the last words the real Gohan said to them before he died.
Then he did a twisted smile that was very identifiable for someone possessed by the parasite himself, Baby. He had done it. He had found and taken over the perfect body.
At last, vengeance was at hand.
I hope this chapter didn't have quantity over quality and hoping the next chapter will be just as good.

This chapter made me sad but at least I got to finally show Trunks' new technique, it might solve his curse with breaking swords! Lol.

Ya, I'm glad I captured Goku's personality while making him unsettling, I was creeped out writing it.
I'm glad you enjoyed that! I'm not very good at humor but I try my best, dragon ball does need some of that humor every now and again. Also poor Trunks, he should've chose paper.
I was waiting forever to write that, hope I did his entrance justice! That fight was fun to write. At least he took care of 'Goku's Spirit Bomb and Instant Transmission, that made him hard to find.
I'm glad you enjoyed them! Ya Cooler's a favorite of mine to, sad to see him go. But I hope he went out in a good way for you. It was good to write teamwork between the siblings. I'm glad the techniques are cool to you, I hope I can keep that up.
Ya, but sadly all good things come to an end. I'm glad you approve of my use of Future ChiChi, I get why it's hard to include her but she's proven useful in certain plot points in my story. Sadly, I might be more cruel to her doing this.

Well guys, I feel terrible for this chapter. It made me sad, maybe I'm too sensitive, also to get myself in the mood for the sad parts of this chapter I listened to the classic dub music of Future Gohan's death for those who grew up in the English dub you know it's fucking sad but I needed to get into the mood and now I feel bummed and need to do something happy. I think I'll play with my dogs. But at least I wrote a fun fight scene so it wasn't too sad.
But anyway I hope this chapter was as fun as I had writing it for you guys. Or maybe funner considering what I wrote lol. Anyway, in the review let me know what you think, what you liked, criticism, ideas, questions, yadda yadda you know the drill.
