'Master' vs Student
Trunks in his Ultimate Form glared at the monster disguised as Gohan. Though his appearance was different, the white spikey hair and the red lines on his face barely made a difference to him. It looked like and sounded like Gohan.
Baby pushed him further, he changed Gohan's expression into one of concern and worry. "Trunks? Are you ok? What's wrong, did you see one of the androids escape?" He adopted a serious voice.
The half Saiyan didn't say anything, he glanced in the direction of the ruins. He scanned the area for a sign, he couldn't sense their energy but he wanted to see them, no, he needed to see them. He didn't look it but Trunks was barely keeping it together, just seeing 'Gohan' like this and the idea that he killed them was too much for him to bear.
He fought the urge to scream his wife's name and brother-in-law's, but he couldn't control the anger written all over his face.
The look was enough for Baby to let go of the facade and grin at the sight.
Trunks heard nothing, saw no one and he clenched his fists in rage. Veins showed in his arms and a tick on the side of his forehead. He glared back at 'Gohan' who was smiling at him.
Baby Gohan then had the Son grin and used Gohan's voice. "Don't worry Trunks, it really is over the Androids are-"
Trunks appeared in front of him with the angriest glare he's ever given any enemy.
'Gohan' smirked as he blocked with his arms crossed. The punch caused an exploding air pocket that the surrounding buildings cracked from the force.
Baby cringed, he felt that.
Trunks grunted as he then headbutts 'Gohan' forcing the clone to stumble, he then flip-kicked up his chin making him look up and stumble back more, Trunks then dashed and threw multiple punches into 'Gohan's gut, he stopped and thrust his arms forward. "Buster Cannon!" He fired his quickest energy technique into his gut to send the clone of his mentor flying.
But in the middle of being launched, he stopped his momentum while the Buster Cannon was still firing. He then thrust his arms apart forming his or rather Gohan's energy shield to beat back the blast. He then looked at Trunks with a grin as the blast ended.
Trunks glared up at 'Goh-' no Baby! He reminded himself over and over.
"Hah!" Baby started to use his real voice. "Come now, I thought you would appreciate that, a little homage for what you wanted to see after Gohan knocked you out. Didn't you want to see Gohan triumphing over the Androids?"
Yes, he did. He remembered wishing that when he flew over Pepper Town, as unlikely as it was, he had hoped that he would find Gohan completely fine and tell him that the Android's reign was finally over. Instead, he found his corpse, it made his current life seem so surreal.
But it didn't matter.
Trunks powered up his white aura surrounding him. "It doesn't matter what I wanted then." He tried to not let this get to him, he finally moved on from 17 and 18 and had formed a family with them, and had a daughter with Lazuli. "What matters is what I want now, and what I want is for you and your damn clones to disappear! For what you've done to my planet, my friends, my family, I'll make you wish you were dead 10 times over!" He then dashed at the clone of his mentor.
Baby Gohan dashed as well and threw a punch at Trunks as the half Saiyan threw one in return the two smashed their fists into each other's faces. The impact forced the surrounding buildings to crumble beneath their might. The duo then clashed with punches and kicks.
'Gohan' punched across Trunks's face which sent him flying, then the possessed clone flew forward above him and backhanded the half Sayin sending him downward.
Trunks caught himself on the ground and looked up to see 'Gohan' with his hands aimed down at him.
Baby fired multiple pink energy blasts to rain down on the man.
The son of Vegeta then backed away as the blasts hit the ground creating small pink explosions.
"What's wrong Trunks? Running away?!" He yelled as he fired more blasts.
Trunks then flew upwards as the blasts kept coming. He then put his hands over his head that 'Gohan' was very familiar with, one hand behind the other.
"Really?" 'Gohan chuckled as he kept firing the blasts. 'At this distance, I can dodge.'
But as Trunks floated higher he smirked as he shifted his hands into a different position. "Solar Flare!"
Baby Gohan looked surprised he didn't register in time what he did and his eyes became blinded by the light. "Ahhh! My eyes!" He stopped firing and covered his eyes in pain.
Trunks dashed forward as his opponent was blinded.
"You wretch!" Baby yelled as he clung to his eyes, he threw a punch only to miss as Trunks suppressed his energy.
Trunks then quickly threw a knee into 'Gohan's gut, making him keel over, then he smashed his other one up his chin, then headbutt him. He then thrust his arms up, forward across his chest, and forward multiple times until his hands were touching 'Gohan's chest. "Burning Burrage Attack!" He shoved three Burning Attacks point-blank into 'Gohan's chest sending him flying downward and crashing into the middle of a street creating a huge crater.
The half Saiyan landed at the edge and sees Baby Gohan already getting up and his eyes were open again though they were flinching.
"Pathetic Saiyan! Only willing to fight me blind are you!?" Baby yelled as he put a hand on his chest.
Trunks rolled his eyes. "Well, Gohan was the one who taught me to faint, do whatever it takes to catch your opponent off guard." He explained. "Also it's the same problem with Goku, I know Gohan's moves even better all you can do is muster up cheap imitations of his techniques."
Baby growled at that but then he smirked as he spoke in Gohan's voice. "Well done Trunks, you picked up on that quick."
The half Saiyan had to remind himself to keep calm, he needed to if he wanted to win.
Lazuli's eyes opened slowly, at first she wondered where she was but then she remembered that Kamehameha wave that was fired at her and her brother. She also realized that she was better. 'Am I dead?' She asked herself as she didn't remember the check-in station in otherworld having a purple sky.
"She's awake." A deep and familiar voice said.
Instinctively, she jumped up, took a stance, and turned to face who it was.
The duo jumped a bit not used to seeing her preparing to fight them.
Lazuli immediately realized who it was. "Wait, Supreme Kai? Kibito?" Relief had washed over her as she relaxed.
Shin had calmed down from her combative outburst. "Hello, Lazuli I'm glad you've awoken."
"Does this mean that I'm not dead?" Lazuli asked as she looked up to answer her question and saw no halo on her head. She looked back at her saviors. "What about my brother?"
Kibito gestured for her to look down to her right.
Lazuli looked to see her brother laid down on the grass, she knelt and saw that his left arm was attached! She looked over at Kibito.
"I took the liberty of reattaching his arm," Kibito explained.
Lazuli breathed a sigh of relief and turned to the healer. "Thank you."
The diety merely nodded.
"How long was I out?" Lazuli asked the two worried for her family on earth.
"Not long. We recently became aware of the situation on Earth, unfortunately, it was during your current skirmish with these clones," Kibito explained. "So we had to wait for an opening to teleport you without Baby noticing to enact a plan."
Lazuli looked at her unconscious brother and back to the Kais. "And what took you so long exactly?" She was frustrated from the events of the past few days where they could've been at least of some use.
"I understand why you upset Lazuli, however in situations like this Dende can contact us for assistance, while he was under Baby's control he told us that the Earth was safe, and with that, we had assumed that after Towa the planet was no longer under threat and we didn't think to look further at the earth for any potential dangers," Shin explained. "We should have been more diligent, I apologize Lazuli."
Lazuli heard the explanation and nodded. "So you just happened to check on us when we were in danger?" She asked finding the coincidence to be strange.
"No" An elder voice replied.
She turned to see Elder Kai walking up to them with his hands behind his back. "We were informed by someone in Hell, Trunks' father."
Lazuli looked confused. "What? Vegeta? How did he know though? Did he check on Earth?"
"Not quite, see denizens of Hell can't see the mortal world unless we were aware of a universal crisis." Elder Kai then gave a disapproving face. "However he found out through... different methods."
Hell, A Day after Trunks and co. defeated Towa and her forces.
Towa was placed in Hell which was strange since a demon would be comfortable here, that's why her brother wasn't here. She supposed Yemma slipped up, she was placed in a dark room unable to see anything. While this wasn't exactly bad she certainly was bored of this, she wished there was another resident of Hell to suffer with her.
"Hello, demon"
That voice dripped with venom and discipline. She didn't recognize it but it made her shutter. She looked to the source of the voice.
It was a man with spikey black hair in a blue jumpsuit and white and yellow armor.
Towa at first wasn't intimidated in the slightest." Who are you?"
The prince smirked and walked up to her. "It doesn't matter, I need you to tell me, on Earth why did you bring yourself out in the opening?"
Towa thought of that disgusting creature that took control of her. She clenched her fists, did Rildo know that thing was capable of that? If only she could get her hands on him! But she didn't answer she just smirked.
"Why would I tell you that?"
Vegeta smirked. "You know I requested Yemma to bring you to me, for two things, pay you back and for you to give me some information."
The demon smirked. "I see the resemblance now, your hair and eyes are different but that face matches Trunks. I'm betting your his father" She chuckled. "I was just cocky that's all." While she hoped that creature that took her over would suffer she wasn't going to give any info that could help Earth's survival especially since they killed her brother.
"Good, your little stunt almost got me out of a job." He said remembering how when Towa resurrected those three monsters he was almost punished by Yemma for 'letting' them escape. "Now I can show you what I've been thinking of doing while waiting here for your soul." He punched Towa across the face sending her skidding across the darkroom.
Towa glared up with blood down her lip. "You think that'll make me talk? I am a demon! Torture cannot make me break gah!"
Vegeta pulled Towa by the hair forcing her face to face with him and he did an evil smirk. "Let's test that theory."
For a few days while the Z-fighters on Earth were dealing with Baby and his clones, Vegeta tortured Towa, she was strong-willed at first but over time he finally managed to get the information he wanted. He then called for King Yemma and informed him of the threat Earth is in right now. Then Yemma contacted King Kai and the deity called for Supreme Kai.
Present Day Supreme Kai world
Lazuli was intrigued that Trunks's father did that while they were battling on Earth. "Wait Vegeta was torturing Towa this whole time we've been dealing with Baby?"
"So it seems." Elder Kai replied. "Although I can't say I approve of Hell's overseer doing the punishing, he was supposed to keep Hell's occupants under control not give punish them himself." The old kai had half a mind to give King Yemma a piece of his mind.
Lazuli smirked. "So says you, I have to thank Vegeta, he's the reason you saved us." She frowned, she didn't think she'd say that about the prince, even if he is Trunks's father. Or her father-in-law she guesses, it's so weird thinking that.
"I suppose." The old man admitted that Vegeta's intuition might've just saved the universe from Baby.
Lapis started to stir and rose his hand to his face with a groan.
Lazuli turned to see her brother. "Lapis!" She knelt next to her brother.
"Lazuli what happened?"
"Kibito saved us."
Lapis looked at his left arm and moved it, he sighed, giving a thank you to Kibito, that was extremely painful. "Damn, Baby sure did a number on me." He said looking around recognizing this place as the Supreme Kai's world. He looked at Shin. "So what now? Do you think Trunks can take that monster on his own?"
"We can't take that chance, during your battle we have devised a plan to assist you." The youngest diety clarified.
"How?" Lapis asked turning to Elder Kai. "I don't suppose you figured out how to give us the same power-up you gave Trunks?"
"As I explained before, I cannot awaken your power due to its unnatural properties." Disappointment could be heard in his tone.
"Right" The brunet was still bothered by how much ahead of them Trunks had gotten.
"Do not worry Lapis, I assure you that you will find your power to help," Shin promised to make them confused but before explaining he turned to his assistant. "Kibito"
"Right my lord." The tallest Kai walked away.
"Where are we going?" Lapis expected that he was taking them somewhere.
"You are not going anywhere, Kibito is going to bring someone who can help us."
Kibito vanished from sight leaving the androids to keep asking more questions.
"So who's he bringing?" Lazuli asked. "I can't imagine it's another fighter."
"You'll see." Supreme Kai smiled.
Kibito was back in seconds with another man with a halo on his head.
The twin's eyes widened they recognized him instantly, the hair, the outfit. At first, they took a stance but see the halo on his head, it wasn't the clone but it was the original. They have finally met the man Gero had obsessed with for over decades.
"It's great to finally meet you guys! My name's Goku." He said with a friendly smile.
Pepper Town
Buildings were breaking and crumbling from the might of the two combatants.
Trunks blocked multiple strikes from Baby Gohan and then Baby kneed him in the face sending him through a couple of buildings.
The half Saiyan stopped himself from within an office and powered up his white aura panting. He looked around to see he was in some office building.
Baby appeared in front of him with his arms crossed looking at Trunks with a grin. "Getting exhausted?" With a grin, he changed to Gohan's voice. "Trunks, calm down, remember how I taught you. You need to manage your stamina, the androids have unlimited energy you won't win unless you pace yourself." He spoke one of Gohan's lessons like he was scolding him.
Trunks breathed in and out and glared at the monster.
'Trunks can you hear me?'
Trunks' eyes widened. 'Supreme Kai?'
'Listen, Lapis and Lazuli are alright! Kibito saved them!'
Suprise and relief filled him that they were alive.
'And look, we have come up with a plan.'
The half Saiyan listened to what he was saying while staring blankly at the clone to keep an eye on him.
Baby Gohan looked down at him confused. "What? Nothing to say Trunks?" He asked, he was expecting him to be a bit more talkative.
Trunks listened to Shin's voice, he thought that it was a long shot, but he knew given the circumstances they needed to try everything they have. After all, it looks like he can't win against the Android. 'I understand I'll do everything I can.' He focused back on Baby and smiled.
"Have you made your peace? Is that why you're smiling?" The parasite was disappointed that he didn't get the reaction he wanted.
Trunks didn't say anything and just powered up.
Baby Gohan rose his arms ready to fight him.
When the androids heard that Goku, the legendary Goku had a plan they were interested in what the man that Dr. Gero obsessed over. Now though after hearing his idea they wondered why Gero had so much trouble with him.
"So, what do you think?" Goku asked after finishing the explanation.
Lapis and Lazuli looked at each other.
"No offense, but this is way riskier than anything we ever tried." Lapis knows that their planning wasn't always flawless if ever but this was by far the riskiest plan that's been proposed to them.
"Yeah, no, we should just head back to earth and help Trunks in any way we can." Lazuli was also not on board with the plan of the Earth's greatest hero.
Goku dropped his happy-go-lucky attitude and adopted a more serious persona. "If you do Baby will destroy you and Trunks will end up hindered trying to protect you."
The twins were silent at that. Surprised at how fast Goku changed his tone.
"You don't know that," Lazuli stated.
"Before you struggled against Baby when he only had Super Saiyan, do you think you can fight this new form he's using right now?" Goku asked.
Again the twins were silent, angry at the man's words but realized that at the end of the day, he was right.
"Look" The Earth-raised Saiyan continued. "I know that my way is risky, you also just met me, I wouldn't want you to try it if it wasn't possible. We've seen that it was though and I know you want to help in any way you can." Then Goku's face changed from serious to anguish surprising the duo. Veins popped in his hands and his hair started spiking. "And I saw, what Baby and his clone did to Chi-Chi," He said bitterly thinking about his wife. The only living member of his family was killed by a monster wearing his son's face. Chi-Chi seemed happy when she saw him and Gohan when she came to them, but she went in a way no one should. "I wanted to destroy the clone, to stop Baby before he" He stopped himself and tried to calm himself down. His hair went down and the veins stopped.
Lapis and Lazuli felt the tension go away as Goku had reined in his emotions.
Once he was calm the orange-clad warrior continued. "I couldn't though because King Kai warned me that something worse than Baby might come to Earth." He explained though he sounded unsatisfied with that excuse. "So I want to help in any way I can, if you won't use my plan, that's fine, we can try something else. Just please, tell me if you have anything else less dangerous that you think can help.
The twins were surprised at how angry and serious Goku could get and how he managed to calm himself down. They realized that this man wasn't trying to screw around and had put thought into this seemingly hair-brain scheme. They thought about his words.
A few moments pass as the twins ponder Goku's plan, it did have its risks but if he's right the odds will be stacked in their favor.
Lapis turned to his sister. "Sis, I don't like this either but we should give it a try, it'll even the playing field if it works, plus it wouldn't be a total loss if it doesn't."
Lazuli contemplated these words, she thought it was too far out of reach but they were right, they needed to try everything if they want to be any help. Plus while Goku did seem like a fool, they know how serious he was about this and perhaps it was this kind of thinking that had him surpass every enemy he's come across so far. "Alright fine, let's do it."
"Right, thank you for trusting me on this you guys." Goku said with a smile, he then got back to his happy-go-lucky attitude."After this, you guys might even get strong enough to fight me after all this is over." He said enthusiastically. even though he was serious about helping them win against this enemy he was still anxious about the results. "Alright now pay real close attention ok. You won't forget a word right?"
"We told you we can remember every second of every day." Lazuli saw it as both a blessing and a curse
"Perfect, now watch closely, I'll try to explain it as best I can and you try to follow along." Goku began explaining.
Supreme Kai looked at Goku as he started to train the duo. "Alright, we should go." He looked to Kibito.
The red elder nodded as he put a hand on shin's shoulder. They vanished leaving the trio to their brief training session.
On Earth far from Trunks's fight
Iolite could sense her father fighting for his life over in the distance, she squeezed her fists fighting the urge to help her father against this monster.
"Iolite"
The little girl turned to Dende without saying anything.
"I know you worried about your father, but listen I know one way we can help."
Iolite's eyes widened. "What is it? What can we do?" She asked desperate to help her family.
"First we have to get to the lookout, we'll take Mr. Popo's magic carpet, Mr. Popo and I have come up with an idea."
The little girl wanted to ask more questions but then suddenly two people appeared.
"We can help you get there faster," Kibito said.
"Yes, we can provide help as well," Shin replied.
They were all relieved that now the Kais were involved, and they were taken to the lookout.
"Listen Dende" The Supreme Kai began. "I need you to contact your people for a bit."
"What why?" Dende asked confused.
"We will explain afterward just please do it."
Dende complied wondering what plan they have up their sleeve and hoping that it would help.
"Kibito" Supreme Kai addressed his assistant.
"Right" Kibito stated as he vanished for a few seconds.
Then he reappeared with two people that Iolite was relieved to see.
"Mom, uncle!" Iolite yelled.
Lazuli looked at her daughter and hugged her. She wanted to do it longer knowing the hell she's been through but they need to stick to the plan, with hesitation, she released her daughter and looked at her. "Listen sweetie, your uncle and I are going to be away for just a little bit, but we'll be right back to help daddy ok?"
"W-what but he needs help right now!" She yelled.
"He'll get help, just stay with the Supreme Kai for a bit, and they can bring him to you ok?"
Iolite looked at her mother, still hesitant to trust her but remembering how she was with ChiChi. She reluctantly nodded and vanished with the Kibito and Supreme Kai.
Lazuli looked at where her little girl is, Lapis placed a hand on her shoulder to get her to focus, it worked and she looked at Dende. "Is it ready yet?"
Dende turned to Lazuli.
"Yes it's going to be ready soon, now go."
The twins looked at each other and nodded. They headed into the lookout.
The half Saiyan charged forward, he then threw multiple punches only for 'Gohan' to block his punches. Trunks then front flipped with his clenched fists forward it landed only to hit 'Gohan's risen arm.
'Gohan' punched into Trunks' abdomen, then he kicked aimed for up his chin, the half Saiyan rose an arm to block the blow, 'Gohan' then backhanded Trunks in the face making him stumble.
Baby Gohan then swung a head kick.
But Trunks ducked underneath it and kicked across Baby's face making him step back. The half Saiyan then threw multiple punches at the clone of his mentor multiple times. He then grabbed 'Gohan's face and flies up holding up his head. They crashed through multiple ceilings while Trunks was punching the Tuffle's stomach.
The two finally flew up and over the building.
Baby then punched Trunks's face making him let go of his face and grabbed Trunks' arm and swung around performing 'Goku's Dragon throw. He then tossed Trunks away.
The force of the Dragon Throw sent Trunks flying away from the city and he skidded against the rocky plain, he put his hands on the ground and landed near the ocean. He looked up to see 'Gohan' was close and flying towards him.
'Gohan' smiled as he flew toward Trunks cackling like a maniac.
The half Saiyan rose an arm to block a kick, he then threw a kick of his own into the clone's gut.
Baby coughed a bit from that but recovered and punched Trunks in the stomach a couple of times and then ax kicked down Trunks's head making him go down, and before he hit the ground 'Gohan' intercepted and kicked down Trunks's back sending him crashing into the ocean.
'Gohan' smirked as he then put a hand forward and used his Ki to control the water, he spun his hand making a whirlpool.
Trunks was still disoriented and so couldn't get out of the whirlpool right away that Baby created.
Baby smiled looking down at Trunks being trapped in the whirlpool, he remembered this from Gohan's memories.
The half Saiyan was still shaken from the blows that Baby gave him, with great effort he got himself out of the whirlpool after almost drowning, he got himself to shore breathing in and out.
Then a hand with a torn orange cloth came into his view.
He heard Gohan's voice. "Here ya go Trunks."
Trunks looked up seeing Baby Gohan holding out the orange cloth, the right shoulder of his Gi was missing meaning it was a piece of his clothing and he seemed to want to hand it to him to dry himself. This triggered a memory. He remembered when he was thirteen when Gohan started training him. After a spar, he was kicked into raging waters and almost drowned. After he got out the real Gohan offered him a towel as if nothing happened.
He glared at the monster before him losing some of his calm.
Baby Gohan had a friendly smile looking down at him.
Trunks screamed in rage and rose to throw a punch.
Baby Gohan smirked and caught the punch. He then pulled his arm and kicked it into his gut sending him skidding across the ground. He then walked towards him. "I'm sorry, I thought you might appreciate some nostalgia." He taunted walking forward. And stopped looking down at him wounded.
Trunks squeezed his fists there wasn't any doubt now, that he was no match for Baby. He had to get rid of the dragon ball now, Dende could restore it, he's sure of it.
"Oh and thank you for this."
The half Saiyan turned to see something frightening.
Baby was holding the four-star dragon ball with a grin.
Trunks immediately checked his pockets of what's left of his jacket. It wasn't anywhere! He glared at the parasite.
'Gohan' placed the dragon ball in his Gi and took a stance with his hands up. "Now then it is time to end this."
Trunks saw him put his hands outward wondering what technique he'll use, that's not a stance he's familiar with.
"Now, I believe you said I only have copies of Gohan's techniques?" He questioned. "Here is one I created, filthy Saiyan, just for you." He then looked up into the sky. "All Tuffles! it is time give me your energy and let us kill the grandson of King Vegeta!"
All Tuffles or rather possessed humans raised their hands giving their collective enhanced energy.
This was the final thing Baby needed to make this body truly his. The bangs on his hair extended, his vest bent, a white chest plate showed as did a skin-tight black suit formed, as well as gold and red boots. At last Baby had achieved his final form, the evolved Tuffle is truly the mightiest in the universe!
The half Saiyan quickly rose his arms in familiar positions for his signature technique. "Burning Attack!"
A dark blue ball of energy formed in Baby's hand. "Revenge Death Ball!" He fired the technique.
The two energy attacks collided creating a massive beam struggle. The Revenge Death Ball won out and hit Trunks in the chest.
The half Saiyan screamed as the ball grew and surrounded him.
Baby watched with a sadistic grin as his devastating attack trapped Trunks in immense pain.
The attack finally dissipated leaving behind a destroyed area with Trunks at the center.
Trunks' spikey hair went down showing only his base and he fell forward with his face hitting the dirt. He barely survived that attack, he felt his bones were shattered and was coughing blood.

Trunks looked up to see Baby Gohan standing in front of him. He was unrecognizable, the lack of eye brows, blue eyes and red lines across his face made him look completely different from Gohan.
"You survived? Impressive, though now look at you no trick up your sleeve?" He cackled as he aimed a hand at him.
The half Saiyan glared at him.
Baby began using 'Gohan's voice. "Trunks, you should've been the one to die that die, clearly you were holding me back in my fight against the Androids, and so you should take responsibility and die for getting in my way."
Trunks didn't say anything not wanting to give Baby the satisfaction of infuriating him with Gohan's voice. He just hoped that the plan the Supreme Kai had would work. He knew that with Baby this close Kibito wouldn't be able to save him. So with nothing he can do, he waited to die for the third time in his life.
Just then a being appears beside Trunks.
Baby turned his attention to whoever was interrupting the execution. "Oh, it's just you."
Kibito stood beside Trunks not taking his eyes off Baby, a cold sweat left his face as he stared at the monster.
The tuffle remembered Kibito from Bulma's memories, he can teleport anyone anywhere, more troublesome than Goku's Instant Transmission. He quickly aimed his hand at the red Kai.
Trunks tried to get up to stop him but to no avail, his body was too weakened.
Just then a third figure arrives and throws a vial at Baby from behind.
It hit and shattered across his back.
'Gohan' at first felt something wet from where he was hit, then it started to burn. His eyes widened, and smoke left his mouth as he fell to his knees and coughed. "W-what was!" He turned around and was shocked to see a third person had joined. That vial held the Sacred Water! And it was attacking him from within
It was the Supreme Kai holding the torso of the still regenerating 16 and he was glaring at Baby.
"Y-you! Damn you!" Baby turned to try to attack him but he couldn't he was feeling weaker and weaker because of the sacred water. *Cough!* *Cough!*
Shin knew that this wouldn't last forever, so he ran to Kibito. "Kibito!"
"Yes, master!" Kibito yelled as he kneeled with a hand on Trunks and a hand reaching out to his master.
Baby immediately fired a pink Ki blast at them.
But just in time, Supreme Kai had grabbed Kibito's hand and the four of them managed to escape.
Baby looked at the spot they were in and he knew that they escaped. The Sacred Water's effects stopped thankfully and the pain disappeared. But it left a sour taste in his mouth that the grandson of King Vegeta still managed to escape! There's also that little girl that's still alive.
He grunted as he took out the dragon ball and grinned. Later. He'll finish him later. Soon he can put his plan into place. "Yes I will kill him, his child too, just not yet, then I will control the universe, he's run out of tricks, I hold all the cards and with this, I will truly become infinite." He cackled like a maniac and flew off.
Kibito had healed Trunks of his wounds
Trunks got up to be free of pain. "I thought Baby was going to kill me." Trunks looked around to see he was on the Supreme Kai's planet. "16!" He sees the Android in pieces with his wires reattaching still being repaired.
"Thank you Kibito, you really saved us."
"You're welcome."
"Where are Lapis and Lazuli?"
"They're not here, they started the plan, it was the best time to do so," Shin replied.
Trunks remembered the plan and looked at Shin. "Supreme Kai, are you sure this plan will work?"
"Honestly I don't know." The diety admitted. "However I have thought of our options, while Fusion is a good option we cannot be sure that alone will be enough, we need to use every trick we have if we are to win."
"Dad!"
Trunks turned his head to see Iolite, she jumped up and hugged him.
The half Saiyan put a hand on her back and can feel her sobbing. He glared as his daughter had done a lot of crying lately.
He remembered what Baby had done during their battle, acting like Gohan, reliving moments with Gohan. While Baby had committed far worse things in his time against them, that alone made Trunks want to destroy Baby no matter what.
Baby had insulted the memories of his friends and family, went after his daughter, and ruined the trust she had in him and Lazuli. He swore that they will make him pay no matter what.

Also, I'm almost done with the new cover for Dragon ball OT, sorry it's taking so long guys, I really need to learn how to manage my time but I'm hoping to have it up before the end of this month.
Anyway guys, real sorry for the wait of the chapter, and wanted to let you know that the arc will be coming to a close very soon.
I know it's been awhile since the start of this arc but I think you guys will enjoy the finale of it.
But due let me know if you think the Baby Saga should've ended here. I am enjoying writing it but I like to hear your honest feedback so I'll know in the future how I can avoid dragging out. That being said I hope you guys can still enjoy what I had so far.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked Royan Blade, expect to see it used more in the future. I always wanted King Vegeta's symbol to be shown somewhere maybe on Vegeta's armor. But oh well Super's far from over so maybe we'll see it back someday, it's a badass royal symbol.

Shadowwriter01: Ya that's fair, I've pretty much have Baby portrayed as the most evil villain in this story, no one's done quite as vicious as what he's done.
