Little Toy Bikers and a Woman on the Run

Chapter 438 Sex Ed
"
Scarlett's physiotherapy sessions had lengthened since her therapist had gotten her body strong enough to use the gym equipment. Her sessions usually ran just over an hour. Jax didn't need that much time.
He'd spent all night thinking about what Scarlett had told him. It's one thing for a girl to have had bad sex a couple of times, but to have had it so often that it left her not liking sex was a tragedy to him. It was tempting to think he was fixing her, but he was going to treat her the way she deserved to be treated the way all women deserved to be treated.
It had taken a lot of trust and courage for her to tell him and he was honored that she trusted him. With all that she had gone through, trust wasn't easy for her.
He suspected that all the years without sex had just magnified the problem. If she'd gone out and found another guy a few weeks or months after she'd run away from her psycho ex, she probably would have been OK. Instead years had passed and she had too much time to focus on how unpleasant sex had been with her ex. The problem had been amplified in her mind to such a degree it felt like a huge insurmountable problem to her. It was just her fear speaking. It wasn't a huge insurmountable problem. She just didn't understand that because she'd been so mentally abused.
He was confident in his sex skills. He'd been with a lot of girls and he'd never had any complaints, but he usually didn't spend more than a few nights with any one girl. Too many others to experience to get tied to one. By the time he'd gotten together with Wendy, he'd outgrown the need to sleep around. He'd been faithful until he realized his marriage was over. It wasn't all Wendy's drug use. Part of it was he realized he didn't want to spend the rest of his life with her. He didn't like to be alone, but by the time he pulled the plug on their marriage, he preferred being alone to being with her.
Despite his sexual confidence, he ducked out after Scarlett went into her physio appointment to a nearby bookstore. He'd been riding dirt bikes since he was six and a motorcycles since he was fourteen. He'd taken a motorcycle safety course a few years ago, one of Clay's bright ideas, and he'd actually learned a lot. The experience had opened his eyes to the value of learning from others and not believing he knew it all.
He found a couple of books that looked interesting and got them. Women's bodies were a lot more complicated than a man's as he found out flipping through the pages in the books. Now, this was the kind of studying he would enjoy. He wasn't going to tell Scarlett about his books. He didn't need to reveal all his secrets.
They ate lunch at the fast food place that near Charming. Scarlett had changed out of her disguise and was herself again. She was a little shyer than normal around him after her confession.
"I think the MC meeting will go late, so I don't think I'll have a chance to come by tonight," Jax said as he drove them into Charming in her van.
"Jax, I don't expect to see you every night."
"I want to see you every night."
She pinched his cheek and smiled.
"Try not to miss me too much."
Jax carefully got his books out of her van and put them in the saddlebags on his bike without Scarlett noticing and headed off to TM.
Juice sent him a text to let him know that Happy had gotten released from the hospital. Kozik was in charge of babysitting, so during work hours, Happy was staying in the apartment in the clubhouse. Kozik knocked him out with drugs to keep him healing. If he didn't do that, Happy would be out in the garage trying to prove that he wasn't hurt.
Jax walked into the clubhouse to check on Happy before heading into the garage. Happy was asleep. SpongeBob had been replaced by dancing Disney princesses. That was even worse Jax chuckled to himself. Happy must not have looked into a mirror.
Jax walked into the garage prepared to get to work.
"Nice you could join us," Tig said.
Jax ignored Tig. He was one of the owners of TM, not an employee. He'd also kept Clay informed of his schedule and didn't take pay for the hours he was gone. It didn't matter it was no one's business but Clay's because they were partners.
"Did you hear what I said?" Tig demanded. "Nice you could join us."
"This has been going on for awhile. Is this the first time you've noticed?" Jax said coolly sarcastic.
"Just hadn't said anything about it," Tig said walking over to where Jax was standing near the open doors of the garage.
"I get my work done and it's none of your business."
"Just kind of curious what business takes you and Scarlett out of town. Maybe pimping out the blonde whore?"
Jax didn't decide to punch Tig. He just did it. He'd punched Tig hard knocking him back against a large red tool chest. He crossed over to where Tig was and landed another punch to Tig's stomach before Opie pulled him off and Chibs and Juice grabbed Tig.
"Are we done yet?" Clay growled.
"You have anything else you want to say about Scarlett?" Jax shouted at Tig.
Tig shook his head.
"Come on," Opie said to Jax getting him outside the garage.
"Did you hear what he said about Scarlett?" Jax demanded furiously.
"Yeah, that's why I waited until you punched him in the stomach before I pulled you off him. Scarlett's a nice girl. She didn't deserve that."
"Thanks bro," Jax said to Opie.
"There's just something not right about Tig," Opie said.
"First time you noticed that?" Jax asked.
Jax looked at Tig in the garage and thought about going back and punching him again.
