Hi guys, I'm sorry for being late.

I had a hard time figuring out how to epilogue this arc.

Also a friend was nice enough to give my other story One's Own Path a lot of fanart and I really wanted to do a lot of chapters for him to show my appreciation.

And since I also I enjoy writing it as well as OT.

So let's wrap up the Baby Saga.

To the Future

New Namek

The dragon Porunga was in the sky sweating as if exhausted being up for so long.

Moori got the news from Supreme Kai and so he made the wish.

"Bring back all those who died on earth from the past few days and for the second wish undo all the damage that Earth had suffered!" Moori yelled in Namekien.

"Consider it done!"

The dragon's eyes glowed doing both wishes.

"Farewell" The dragon then faded away going into the seven now stone dragon balls.

It was over, Baby's carnage had ended.

On Earth, on the island where their friend had perished there was a gloomy atmosphere.

Everyone was silent, even Lapis wasn't doing his usual jokes.

The group had gathered and there was a portrait of Android 16.

"I think he would've liked this." Trunks said smiling.

"Yeah" Lapis replied as the picture faced the island's beautiful terrain and the wild life, like he can watch them.

But they know that he can't, he was robbed of having a real body.

But they shouldn't dwell on it, they know he wouldn't want that.

Lazuli approached and touched the picture. "Thank you for being there for us when we needed it."

She thought back to when he saved their lives from Meta 13.

Lapis approached next. "You were really fun to be around big guy."

He thought to when he would always visit the animals.

Trunks next. "Thanks for showing me how great a friend an android can be."

He thought back to how 16 would spar with him.

And then Zangya approached. "I, really wish we could've been friends longer 16, it was great knowing you."

The time they spent in the chamber really moved her heart.

Bulma came as well and smiled to the portrait. "Thank you 16, with you it felt like I was helping my son, my friends unlike on Namek." She said smiling and walking back.

And finally, Iolite came up to the picture. "Bye Uncle 16, I'll miss you."

They all mourned together for the death of their friend.

The Android who started as a machine bent on killing Trunks had grown to be a member of their family.

A powerful warrior who will be remembered forever.

Trunks put a hand on his daughter's head, and she turned to hug her father.

He looked to Lazuli, she nodded.

Lazuli walked to her brother and Zangya. "We'll need to go; she'll need some time."

Lapis looked at his niece who was clinging to her father and nodded.

Zangya turned to look at the little girl with a frown.

"She'll be alright." The blonde Android said getting Zangya's attention.

The Hera nodded.

"Zangya" Lazuli said her name for the first time. "You protected my daughter with your life, and I'm thankful for that." She said with less hesitation before. "I am sorry about everything before."

Zangya giggled. "No need to be so soft with me."

"Don't push it." Lazuli said rolling her eyes, she turned to her brother. "Make sure to keep her in line."

Lapis scoffed. Why was she telling him that?

"As if I could."

The Hera merely shrugged and giggled.

Lazuli walked over to her family with Trunks holding his mother in his arms. The Brief family flew off leaving the Hera and Android alone.

Lapis looked at the portrait of 16 overlooking the island. It's kinda sad, they know that he can't be watching over due to not having a soul.

It was so depressing to think about.

He felt a tap on his shoulder.

Lapis turned to who it was which was of course Zangya.

"Come on, let's get to work."

That was unexpected.

"Work?" Lapis asked as she kept walking. "That's not like you."

She stopped and turned to him. "A distraction might do us some good, don't you think?"

When she said that he can tell that she was hiding what she was feeling.

It was harder for her to do it since she wasn't an Android.

Guess he can use a distraction to.

He followed her to start the day taking care of any poachers that come along.

Once Bulma was brought to Capsule Corp she turned to her son.

"I'm glad that this is all over, I just wish I could've done more." Bulma said frowning. "More for 16."

The half Saiyan shook his head. "You did the best you could mom, we all did and I'm sure he knew that."

Why else would he do something so reckless.

"Let's all try to honor him, along with the rest of our friends." Trunks said smiling.

Bulma nodded and hugged her son.

She then knelt down to be at the level of her granddaughter. "Keep being a good girl ok? You were so brave."

Iolite had a sad smile and nodded.

She then gave Lazuli a hug to. "Keep my son on his toes, ok? He can't be going soft."

"Of course," Lazuli said smiling to her mother-in-law.

The couple then flew off with their child in their arms.

As she watched her family fly off she took something out of her pocket and looked at it for a few seconds before walking inside.

Once the family of three made it home, the family had a quite day exhausted from everything that happened.

Days had passed and Iolite was silent, only saying yes or no most of the time.

It was troubling for the parents as they were trying to cheer their quiet daughter up from the loss of her uncle.

They offered her favorite food, desert, favorite games nothing seemed to work.

Lazuli looked concern as she looked at her daughter just lying-in bed.

"I thought our family would be back to normal after it was over." Lazuli said helplessly.

Trunks looked at her daughter and thought the same.

"It'll be alright, she just needs time." Trunks replied.

She looked at her husband sadly at that, he spoke from experience. She knows why.

As if sensing this Trunks put a hand on her shoulder.

Lazuli turned to him surprised at the sudden action.

"I'm sorry" Trunks said. "I- I didn't mean it like that."

She knew he was hurting from the fresh wounds of 16 and the reopened wounds of Gohan and the others. And he was still thinking of her feelings, the least important right now.

Lazuli chuckled and grabbed his hand. "I know, don't worry, I get it."

She pulled him in and the two shared a brief kiss.

The two parents looked at each other fondly until there was a knock on the door.

They turned to the window and see that it's the Kais here. It better not be some other threat, they just got through Baby.

"You go see them, I'll watch her." Lazuli said smiling, silently hoping they can enjoy some peace.

Trunks nodded and walked towards the door.

He opened it and wore a serious face. "Supreme Kai, is everything alright?"

"Hello, yes Trunks, everything is fine, sorry for the startle." Shin apologized.

Trunks had a sigh of relief and thanked every god in existence.

"Good to hear, so what is it?"

"Trunks, we thought you and your family deserved a reward for your actions." Elder Kai explained. "We thought you'd like to see your old friends again, Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, the whole lot of them."

"Really?" Trunks asked ecstatic at this.

"Yes, it's the least we could do after all you've been through." Elder Kai replied. "We thought seeing them would do you some good."

It would, seeing his friends, his father, and his master again after all that Baby had done. It'd be great.

He frowned at that.

"What's wrong?"

Trunks shook his head. "Thank you for the offer, but right now my daughter needs me, tell Gohan and the others I'm sorry but it'll be a bit before we're ready to see them."

The kais looked at each other.

"I see, well I apologize for not being more sensitive about the timing." Elder Kai replied. "We'll just give us a call if you need anything."

"I will thank you." Trunks said smiling.

With that the three Kais vanished leaving Trunks alone.

The half Saiyan turned back to his family to do what he can to repair the damage Baby had done.

Lapis's Island

Weeks had passed.

A boat of several poachers were sent back to the mainland for first aid.

Zangya played with her hair watching them run off and chuckled. "You know, humans are very tenacious, aren't they?"

"Yeah, they are." Lapis replied and sat down on a log around a campfire.

The Hera stretched. "Well guess that's all for the day, what now?"

Lapis looked at her and shrugged.

"You know, you could leave now if you want?"

"Hmm?"

The Cyborg chuckled. "I talked to the others. Your probations over, you can talk to Bulma get a space ship and get going if you want."

Zangya heard the word probation and then she remembered. That's right, she was being kept an eye on until it was determined if she was dangerous or not.

She forgot about that.

"So?" Lapis asked. "Is this goodbye?"

Zangya chuckled. "Hmm, I don't know, I think you'd miss me too much."

The brunette rolled his eyes. Some things never change.

The Hera sat down next to Lapis and rested her head on his shoulder.

And to her surprise and actually Lapis's he didn't move.

"You know, you still owe me that date? Right?"

He remembered he told her that after those three monsters showed up.

"Yeah, yeah" Lapis replied. "You know, I'm surprised, I figured you take off as soon as I told you, you were free."

"Mm" She nuzzled into his arm. "Well, I think I gotten attatched to you, your niece." She admitted and then she had a sad expression. "Plus, I think the big lug would want me around, don't you?"

Lapis frowned for a second then smirked. "Yeah, thank you."

Zangya rose to give him a peck on the check and nestled her head on his arm.

The Android was surprised to be accepting of this, guess he really did like having her around. He placed an arm around Zangya and looked at where the portrait of 16 was placed.

16 helped Lazuli decide not to kill Zangya after the fusion situation, at the time he was fine either way.

After spending time with her he regretted that.

'Thank you, 16' He thought of the friend they lost and the companionship he gained.

He will honor his friend's sacrifice to save them from that monster.

Bulma was in her laboratory.

She didn't say anything about this because she didn't want to get anyone's hope's up. Especially Iolite's.

Not long after 16 had crumbled to dust, there was one small component left behind.

It was half of a computer chip.

She placed it in one of her machines to look for any sign of his AI.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

She sighed.

Part of her wished she could just build him again for the group and her granddaughter's sake. But it wouldn't be 16, it'd be just a machine that they didn't fight alongside with.

She doubt the group would be ok with it and it'd be cruel for Iolite's feelings.

Bulma kept typing away refusing to give up. She had done so much with 16 she refused to let this be the end of him.

There is a way to restore him, she just has to find a way.

Someday, and when it's done, she will give him the human body he deserved.

Trunks' Home

Trunks was in his Super Saiyan form in a fighting stance.

Iolite also a Super Saiyan attacked ferociously.

The battle ended with Trunks shoulder throwing Iolite to the ground.

"Ow" Iolite said as she hit the ground. She didn't look up only holding her mouth.

Trunks immediately regretted and got to her. "Iolite! Sorry are you-"

Iolite did an upper cut to Trunks's jaw.

The father stumbled back a bit surprised from the hit.

"Hah! I got you daddy!" The girl yelled triumphantly.

Trunks looked at her surprised but smirked and he reverted to base. "That's right, and that means it's your win."

Iolite heard that and jumped yelling. "Yeah, I did it, I won!"

Lazuli came out of the house. "Come on you two dinners ready!"

"Mommy!" Iolite yelled flying to her mother who got her in her arms. "Did you see? I won! I hit daddy!"

"Really?" Lazuli said surprised and looked to Trunks.

The half Saiyan nodded his head.

"That's great, that means you get double the desert tonight!"

"Yay!"

Trunks smiled seeing the look of joy on his daughter's face. She seemed to be going back to her old self.

Lazuli thought the same as she hugged her daughter. Their family overcame everything Baby had thrown at them and their familial bond had grown stronger.

She looked and smiled at Trunks.

He came to his wife and daughter and joined for a family hug.

'16' Lazuli thought of her friend who saved them. 'Thank you'

Trunks also shared the same thought and finished it. 'Thank you for all this.'

The family really had 16 to thank for their victory.

The dragon balls were used to revive everyone who died except for those who wished to remain.

That part of the wish was to honor ChiChi's request. She wanted to stay with her loved ones in otherworld.

Only those killed unwillingly by Baby or indirectly were brought back.

Though the wording of the wish was problematic and had unforeseen consequences for our heroes.

Though many of Baby's victims were brought back, it brought back all indirectly or directly.

Meaning one of his victims was kept in place to be killed.

By Trunks.

In a forest near where the lookout was taken and where Baby had been forced inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

There was a capsule, one that Baby had dropped while he was being dragged in the portal.

A blue hand with red nails grabbed it.

The holder of the capsule was Towa.

She was killed by Trunks but was forced to by Baby while she was possessed making her count as one of his victims.

Towa chuckled. She didn't know how she was brought back but it didn't matter.

She was alive and now she will make Trunks and everyone he knows suffer.

In time, she'll need to retreat and figure out her next move.

She tapped her staff and disappeared into the demon world.

With Baby's time machine.

I know it was short but I promise when we come back, none of them will be.

So, as some of u have noticed.

There hasn't been any time travel in this story since the start.

That was on purpose.

I wanted the final arc to be about Time Travel.

It started with time travel and will end with time travel.

Now Towa's got her hands on it earlier than in xenoverse.

So the next saga will be the final saga of the story.

And don't worry when my other story One's Own Path's current arc ends, I will focus completely on this story until the final saga is finished.

And I hope I do it right.

Book N Quil: Um, weren't the androids stopped by a remote Trunks brought in the original timeline? Also, the androids weren't still alive, they were brought back to life on accident. Not sure what you're talking about.

Not the last chapter, just one more saga before we bring it to an end.

Well, I'll think about a sibling, at least she'll have a cousin.

SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: Yes he was, but looks like Bulma's gonna try to do what she can.

Shadowwriter01: I was trying to go for a curve ball.

And well everyone did team up, Lapis and Lazuli kept him in place for Trunks to land his Royal blade in his chest so it was a team effort. Even Zangya kept him from escaping into a new body while 16 landed the killing blow.

Well a small piece did survive. I thought maybe he can come back, I thought maybe you were right and the sacrifice might've been unnecessary. We'll see if Bulma can do it.

And I hope that in my final arc, you can enjoy it just like I enjoyed your stories. I still reread Dragon Ball Alternates and Time Lines to this day.

Alright guys, like I said we are heading to the final saga. I'm not sure how long it will be but I already got a good idea of what I want to do.
