Chapter 2: Thinking About Being A Leader
Blu came back to the hollow and had Brazil nuts to give to his family.
"Hey my family. I got you all Brazil nuts." Blu said as he show the family.
"Awww Blu you got us breakfast. You are so sweet." Jewel said.
"Anything for the bird I love." Blu said.
Blu knows that he didn't like nuts but he decides to try the Brazil nut. It's good to try new things. Blu and his family eat the Brazil nut. Blu eat the nut then he likes it.
"Blu, you are eating a Brazil nut. I thought you didn't like nuts." Jewel said.
"I know but I decide to give a Brazil nut a try. You need to try new things." Blu said.
"That is amazing of you Blu." Jewel said.
"Thanks to you honey." Blu said.
"Anytime." Jewel said.
Blu, Jewel, and their kids had Brazil nuts.
"Man it's a shame that Nico, Pedro, Rafael, Eva, and Luiz didn't move to the Amazon with us." Jewel said.
"I know but everyone have their own place." Blu said.
"Yeah but I miss them." Jewel said.
"I miss them too." Blu said.
"I want to join Uncle Nico and Pedro's club when I am older." Carla said.
"You love music I see." Tiago said.
"Yes I do." Carla said.
"Nico, Pedro, Rafael, Eva, and Luiz stay in the Amazon with us for a while until they want to go to their real home Rio. I wish to join them but the Amazon is our home." Blu said.
Roberto arrived at the hollow.
"Hello Jewel, Blu, Carla, Bia, and Tiago." Roberto greeted the family.
"Hello Roberto." Jewel, Blu, Carla, Bia, and Tiago said.
"How are you Roberto?" Blu asked him. Blu is cool now with Roberto.
"I am good. Just eating breakfast." Roberto answered him.
"Good to hear Beto." Jewel said.
"See you guys later. I am about to meet up with my friends. They are waiting for me." Roberto said as he flys to join his friends. Blu is thinking about being the leader of the blue macaws.
"Blu is something wrong?" Jewel asked him.
"Eduardo wanted me to become the next leader of the Spix Macaw Tribe when he retired. I don't know about being a leader." Blu said to his wife.
"Blu you will do good as the leader. My dad is giving you a big honor. You lead the blue macaws against the loggers. That how you got my father respect. Me and the kids will be so proud of you." Jewel said.
"Yeah dad you will become a great leader." Bia said.
"Bia is right. You stood up for what is right. The loggers are gone thanks to you dad." Carla added.
"You are a hero dad. You know humans more than the other macaws." Tiago said.
"It's your decision Blu. We understand." Jewel said.
Blu thinks on what his family said. He loves his family of all his heart. He smiled at them.
"Okay I made my decision." Blu said.
"What is it dad?" Tiago asked him.
"I decide to become the leader of the Blue Macaw Tribe." Blu said.
"Awesome you got to tell my father." Jewel said.
"I will." Blu said.
"Dad I know you can do this. We believe you." Bia said.
Blu smiles at his family.
Blu decides to become the leader of the Spix Macaw Tribe after all. Will Eduardo accept his son-in-law choice?
