Chapter 3: Decision Is Made
Blu went to Eduardo's hollow. Eduardo sees him.
"Hello my son, did you made your decision?" Eduardo asked him.
"Yes I did Eduardo. I decide to become the new leader of the Blue Macaw Tribe." Blu said.
Eduardo smiles and talk to Blu. "I am glad you made your decision Blu. Tomorrow we will do training."
"I am up for it Eduardo." Blu said.
"Okay. You did impressed me when you lead the blue macaws against the loggers." Eduardo said.
"I did sir. That was very brave of me to save the Amazon. I can't see my own species die." Blu said.
"That's why you are my son-in-law." Eduardo said.
"I will get back to my family." Blu said.
"See you later Blu." Eduardo said.
Blu fly to go back to the hollow. Mimi arrived at her brother hollow.
"Hi brother, what's going on?" Mimi asked him.
"Mimi. I give Blu a lot of times of him thinking about being the next leader of the tribe. He just came to me and he accept it." Eduardo said.
"Wow that is great news. I am happy for Blu. Blu knows how to take charge and protect everyone from bad humans. He did lead us against the loggers. I am proud that you are retiring and you can relax." Mimi told her brother.
"That is true. I am too old to lead the tribe." Eduardo chuckled.
"You become the leader a long time." Mimi said.
Blu arrived at Roberto's hollow.
"Hey Blu how did it go on talking to my dad about you being the leader of the blue macaws?" Jewel asked him.
"It went well. Tomorrow he will train me to become the new leader." Blu said.
"That is good Blu. I knew my dad will warm up to you." Jewel said.
"Me too. I am happy to have a father-in-law. I always wanted a father to love." Blu said.
"You have one now. The blue macaws are your family too." Jewel said.
"Yes I love my family." Blu said.
"Dad who would be the leader after you. Is it me?" Tiago asked his father.
"Dad it can't be him. I will be the leader." Bia said.
"Girls can't be no leader." Tiago said.
"Yes they can Tiago. It can't be males all the time, it got to be females." Bia said.
Bia and Tiago started fighting each other.
"Stop it you two." Jewel said. Bia and Tiago stopped.
"Mom, she started it." Tiago said.
"It don't matter. You guys are brothers and sisters. Love each other." Jewel said.
"I'm sorry Bia." Tiago apologized.
"I'm sorry too Tiago." Bia apologized too.
Bia and Tiago hugged each other.
"Carla why didn't you join the argument." Blu said.
"In the future dad, I want to join Uncle Nico and Pedro's club and sing." Carla said.
"You sure do love music." Blu said.
"Yes I do dad." Carla said.
"Kids, I think I am ready to become the new leader of the blue macaws." Blu said.
"We believe in you dad." Bia said.
"That all I needed to hear. I get support of my family." Blu said.
Blu finally made his decision of him becoming the new leader of the Blue Macaw Tribe. Let's see how the training will go in the next chapter?
