Chapter 28

After the twins went home, everything sorta went back to normal. Well the new normal was mixed with Senri and I dating. However, classes, patrolling, and switchover were all the same. The tutoring with Aidou has gotten a lot easier and he said that we might end the tutoring because I'm almost caught up. Training with Takuma with the katana has been getting better. I almost got the basics down. It's just, it's been a week and a half and I haven't heard anything from Kaito. I was really hoping to do hand to hand combat. I know I'll get my ass kicked but I want to grow stronger.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Senri sighed in my mind.

I only told him about the meeting with Kaito. I didn't want to ask permission from Chaotic or Kaname. I thought about telling Takuma or the Headmaster but I've been holding out on it since I haven't heard from Kaito yet.

"I get sword lessons from a vampire and hand to hand combat training from a hunter. How cool is that?" I mumbled back.

"You already received a few bad bruises from Takuma fighting you. Imagine the injuries you'll get from fighting the hunter."

"Senri, I want to protect those I love. I don't want to feel helpless." I kissed his bare shoulder, having just gotten dressed to go to the Day Class lunch.

"I'll see you later tonight, sleep well!" I said out loud this time.

Sliding down the handrails, I took off running after the last one. I'll be making it just in time. My stamina has increased so much I feel like I can run for quite awhile.

Upon approaching the table, I noticed that there was this male student standing next to Yuuki and Zero and seemed to be nagging at them? I came up from behind the student just as he was saying, "You Prefects are-"

"Are what?" I bent down to his level and purred into his ear, "I don't even know your name and yet you have this very strong opinion of us." The way his soul left his body caused me to laugh as Yuuki jumped up to grab it.

"L-L-Leach-san!" he stuttered out once he got his soul back. He looked like he wanted to say something but then took off running.

"What the fuck was that about?" I asked, sitting down between Yori and Alex.

"Oh he was giving the two shit for falling asleep in class. His name is Kasumi Kageyama, he's their class president." Alex cleared his throat. "This is a daily matter."

I looked at Zero and Yuuki, "you guys want me to beat him up?" I asked, cracking my knuckles.

"Cassie-chan nooo!" Yuuki cried out as I went to stand. Laughing, I sat back down. Zero rolled his eyes at us.

"Seriously, I think after the 4th block when I leave the classroom. You guys can check in with me and then go to bed. I got it from there until class is over."

"If that's what you want." Zero mumbled, finishing the rest of his food.

"Well I prefer to have company but I would rather you two get more sleep."

Yori was studying me so I smiled at her, "what's up Yori-chan?"

"You seem much happier now." She smiled back at me.

"Oh it's because she has a boyfriend-" and I elbowed Alex in the gut without even looking at him.

"Oh Shiki-san finally asked you to be his girlfriend?" Yuuki leaned in while Zero walked off.

"We're just in the dating phase-"

"Doesn't matter they're practically boyfriend/girlfriend." Alex began singing the K-I-S-S-I-N-G song.

"I'm sorry, how old are you again?" I asked over his mocking.

"Well I hope you and Shiki-san have a good relationship." Yori said without leaning in.

Just then a food tray dropped behind us causing us to jump.

Ah fuck, it was one of the Senri fangirls I usually watch over. She's always convinced he's looking at her when it's me he's looking at. "You're dating Shiki-sama?"

I started getting up in my seat, standing taller than the girl I was ready to bolt. I wanted to keep it a secret from the fangirls as long as possible but I would be lying if I said I didn't want to crush their dreams.

So I admitted it. I said yes.

She ran off to tell her friends and I picked up the tray and returned it to the kitchen but upon returning back to the table there were a bunch of girls there and Alex signaled for me to run.

I took off to the Headmaster's office, I'll hide there for a bit.

"Cassie-chan to whom do I owe the visit?" He called out without spinning around in his chair.

"The fangirls know I'm dating Senri-kun."

"That is a bit of a problem. Do you think it'll affect switchover?"

"It shouldn't, they've been scared of me ever since the fight."

"Then we have nothing to worry about." He spun around in his chair and smiled at me.

"Hey dad, can I train with Kaito whenever he comes to visit?" I asked, sitting in front of his desk ignoring his weepy eyes at the dad comment.

"Did you ask Chaotic-"

"No. I think it's smart to be trained by both a vampire and hunter. Takuma is training me how to kill and Kaito could be training me how to survive."

"Both would be training you how to survive-"

"Yeah well you know what I mean."

"I do but I think it would be wise to tell Chaotic."

"He'll never agree to it, he hates hunters." I sighed.

"I said tell, not ask."

I gasped at the Headmaster and smirked. "I see how you are~!" I said coyly.

"If you wait here longer Kaito should be stopping by."

"…" I paused trying to think over my words, "is Kaito someone I could trust?"

"I think you should make your own judgement about that, Cassie."

Well that's not helpful. Just then boots could be heard in the entrance, I spun around in the chair to see the one who we were talking about.

"Oh good, I don't have to call you." Kaito stands there in all his glory.

"We need to train somewhere where there are no windows, please." Chaotic might feel Kaito's presence and send a spy animal. I know he's done it before.

Headmaster led us to the basement where there were training mats everywhere in the main room and a gun range in the next room.

"This place used to belong to the Hunter's Society if you're wondering." Kaito glanced at me.

"I'll leave you two to it. Remember, Kaito, don't cause internal damage."

Okay, I was kinda scared after that comment. Kaito took off his trench coat and his tie. I just left my uniform on because I definitely wasn't prepared.

"Next time bring some spare clothes."

"If I'm going to be fighting here I'll most likely have my uniform on."

"Suit yourself. If you get blood on it, it's not my problem."

After an hour of training, I was so sore. He did not go soft on me and he was very fast with his strikes. All we were doing was learning to block. After the 6th kick to my ribs, I started anticipating his next moves and the blocks came easier with time. Doesn't mean I wasn't on the floor holding my tummy.

"You're a bit slow on the blocking but over time I can see you getting better. Fast learner too."

I rolled over onto my back and stared at the ceiling trying to catch my breath. Kaito held out his hand to me and I took it, feeling every ache in my body as I stood. I thanked him, still feeling a bit woozy. Maybe next time I should eat a little before training.

"Do I work you harder than your vampire?" He snickered.

"Oh no Takuma still hands me my ass everyday. But we're training with weapons, not hands and feet. I think I have a bruised rib." I mumbled holding my side.

"I still have business to do with Cross so I'll leave the rest with you." He turned to walk off but glanced back at me. "Hope your boyfriend won't be too angry with me."

I stared at him, "how did you know that I…" I trailed off thinking back to if I ever said anything to him.

"I didn't, you just told me. Unless you eat ice cream like that to just anyone."

My face exploded with embarrassment, "so that was you! I knew I felt someone watching!"

"Humans and vampires shouldn't be dating."

I ignored that last comment and continued, "At least it was you instead of a vampire."

"Why do you say that?" We walked towards the staircase.

"I've been thinking about the coincidences about the dude I killed-"

"Yoshi"

"What?"

"His first name was Yoshi."

He didn't have to tell me that but I appreciated that he did. "Well I've been thinking about how perfectly timed everything was. Like I just happened to be walking across the courtyard when he came outta nowhere. I don't know." I put my hands on my face and hunched down, "I almost feel like I'm being tested."

"By a pureblood?"

"How am I supposed to know? I haven't sensed any around other than Kaname." I left out Chaotic since he doesn't know that he's here.

"Wait what did you say?" He asked, staring at me in bewilderment. Or at least I thought he didn't know.

"Um. I said I didn't sense-"

"You can sense vampires?"

"Yes?"

Kaito stared at me long and hard. It was as if he was trying to remember everything about me at that moment. "Are you a descendant of a hunter?"

I stared at him in disbelief, "your guess is as good as mine? I don't know my biological paternal grandfather." My grandpa at home was technically my stepped grandpa.

"Can you ask your biological father?"

"He disowned me, hence why the Headmaster is my new dad. My old one didn't like that I was bisexual. And I can't just walk up and ask him if his dad was a vampire hunter. He'll put me in a mental hospital." I began walking up the stairs with Kaito hot on my trail.

"But could he sense vampires?"

"I guess? He never liked C-" I stopped myself, slamming my hands over my mouth and ran up the staircase until I found the Headmaster and standing next to him was Chaotic. Fuck my fucking life.

"Who! He never liked who?!" Kaito came running after me but before he reached the entrance I bulldozed him, pushing as hard as I could to get him to go anywhere but here. But as luck would have it, he already sensed there was a vampire so he bulldozed me. He dragged me, because I was trying to pull him away, all the way to the office like I didn't even bother him.

Chaotic looked fucking pissed. There I was fraternizing with a fucking vampire hunter. I already know I'm going to receive such a lecture tonight.

"Who the fuck is he?" Kaito asked, pointing a finger at Chaotic. It was really rather comical in a way. Finally shaking me off him, he stood in a fighting stance, "why is there another Pureblood here?"

The Headmaster spoke up, "this is Chaotic Heiwa."

"I thought he was dead." Kaito snarled, reaching for what I can only guess was a weapon.

I blocked his way, "he's a good person!"

"The only good vampire is a dead one."

"Okay let's agree to disagree! But I've known Chaotic for years!"

"Cassie." Chaotic called my name but I ignored him.

"He's never harmed anyone."

"Cassie."

"And he even lived alongside humans in school. If anything he's like a big fluffy teddy bear!"

"Cassandra."

I stopped after that. I just wanted them to be friends. But Kaito has a hand on his gun and I'm sure Chaotic is just waiting to strike but I'm in the middle and right now I'm closer to Kaito.

I placed my hand on Kaito's free hand. "Please just trust me." He looked at me as if I was scum of the earth. But I refused to let go. "Chaotic is like a big brother to me. He's not like the others."

"They're all the same." He spat, yanking me behind him. Oh is he trying to protect me or just moving me out of the way? I ignored his extended arm and walked over to Chaotic's side. The Headmaster got in between the two now.

"You're in so much trouble." Chaotic growled under his breath at me. "What were you doing with him?"

"Training! I was training how to fight with him."

"That's what Takuma is for."

"She needs to learn from a hunter how to defend herself against vampires." Kaito spats from across the room.

"There's nothing wrong with having two teachers. Chaotic, I wanna get stronger so I can help protect the ones I love. Let me get stronger." I grabbed his arm and slightly pushed him back to distance him further from Kaito.

Chaotic sighed, he ran a hand through his hair, thinking on what he should do, "on one condition. You stop telling him stuff about me."

I was honestly surprised and said that I could do that.

Kaito looked surprised too, he was expecting more of a fight but Chaotic likes keeping the peace.

"Also Cassandra, you're grounded from going behind my back."

"Oh c'mon! I was eventually going to tell you!" I cried out and stomped my foot.

The look on Kaito's face was fucking hilarious as he watched how we interacted with each other. I need to prove to him that Chaotic is different.

"Let's go back to the dormitory now, Cassie." I waved goodbye to Kaito, noticing he finally had his hand off his gun since the Headmaster was talking him down.

Once we left the office Chaotic started his lecture only ending it once we were in my room. My punishment is to do 20 laps around the Moon Dormitory since I want to train so fucking bad. Fuck my life.

I woke up after five o'clock stiff as a board. I had to throw myself out of bed. Awkwardly walking down the stairs, I made my way out towards the front gates. Zero was the first one I met on the other side.

"Zero, how do you suffer through the pain?" I whined while holding my sides.

"...What?"

"From training? I think I have a bruised rib."

"Is Ichijou hurting you that much?"

I stared at him in confusion, "what are you on about? It was-"

"Leach-san you got some explaining to do!" A small group of girls came up to us.

I groaned loudly while wiping the sleep from my eyes. What the fuck do they want?

"Step off the path, please." I said, trying to herd them to the grass. Nothing. Wouldn't budge.

"Do it. NOW." Zero raised his voice, finally backing me up for once.

As the girls walked over to the grass I followed. When they turned around they were surprised that I was there. I didn't want them spreading more stupid rumors and accepted the fact that I'll have to face them eventually.

Letting go of my sides, I crossed my arms instead while leaning more on my left leg than my right.

"Is it true you're dating Shiki-sama?"

"I am dating Senri. Yes."

The girls gasped, how dare I use his first name!

"But h-h-how?"

"When two people like each other-"

"No, how did he end up with you? Did you put a spell on him!"

I cannot believe my ears. I have never laughed so hard when dealing with fangirls. I decided to bring in reverse psychology.

"How are you supposed to be supporting Senri, when you openly oppose his choice in a girlfriend?"

"Because if he can't be with us. His true choice would obviously be Touya-san"

Ah there it was, the stab in my side. Not physically but verbally.

"Yeah for all we know she could be lying about the whole thing!"

There are more 'yeahs' and at this point I was done with them.

I flipped them off and continued putting more girls in their place. Yuuki finally showed up towards the last few minutes. And Zero called her a slacker which got the two of them in a nagging fit.

The doors opened and it was the usual routine only that I was sad and kept thinking about what the girls said about Rima being the better choice. I know she's the better choice but I just had to show up and ruin everything. Suddenly I felt a hand on my arm, I let the owner of the hand ever so lightly spin me around. It was Senri and you could see his eyebrows were slightly furrowed.

"Don't let them get to you." He said in my mind. Night Class students kept walking behind him.

"I'm not good enough for you." I thought back. I averted my eyes and began turning back around towards the girls when I was pulled into an embrace and next thing I know Senri's lips were on mine and the fangirls were screaming bloody murder.

Once he stepped back I had a blush all over my face and ears, hell probably my neck; everything felt hot. "Senri?"

"You are perfect for me." He said out loud and smiled a tiny smile then he continued walking to class before Zero could yell at him.

That kiss gave me the confidence to start yelling at the girls to go back to their dorms and to stay in their lane.

"He was too rough with you, I don't like him." Senri was looking over my bruised body. It was after class and we were in my room. I had my shirt raised to my bra. "I can heal them for you."

"The bruises?"

"That and the pain."

I nodded and he began working his magic. I run my fingers in his silky hair as he does. "You're so cute." I placed my hand on the side of his face and brought him to my lips once he was done.

Sitting up so he could get a better angle as we were making out he pulled off my shirt, leaving me in my bra, bottom pjs, and thigh high socks.

I slid off his uniform and unbuttoned his black dress shirt revealing his lean body and abs. I ran my hands down his body.

He used his hands to slide my pj shorts to the ground. My black cheekys full on display. He reached down again to pull down my black socks when I stopped him and began playing old Bring Me The Horizon music in my head with screaming.

"Those stay on Senri," I said, focusing so hard on the song in my head so he can't see the reason why I don't want him to see the scars on my legs from me cutting.

"I saw the memories on Christmas eve."

I gasped and grabbed my t-shirt no longer feeling comfortable being so exposed. The music stopped playing in my head and it's just those sad memories.

"Hey as long as you don't do it anymore it's okay." He lifted my chin and gave me a quick kiss.

"I didn't want anyone to see that along with the OD episode."

He apologized and mentioned how I probably saw his mother in his memories.

"She shouldn't use you like that. What would she do now that you're love bonded to me?"

He sighed as he laid down in bed next to me, I joined him. "It's something I'm trying to avoid but I have a feeling on Spring break I'll have to go. She's starting to beg."

I cuddled him. That must be so horrible for him. Drinking blood is so intimate, I can't imagine a parent crossing that boundary.

"I'm sorry," I apologized without thinking. I was thinking about how he might get in trouble for being bonded to me.

"Not everything is your fault, Cassie."

"I know but it's easier to blame me." I laughed but it was one sided.

He rolled over so he was on his side facing me and nuzzled into my neck not kissing or anything just being there. But it also made me giggle since I'm ticklish. Once he sat back, I rolled over onto my other side and scooted back so my ass was touching him.

"You like my panties?" I glanced back at him with a cheeky grin. He hid his face in my purple hair and I grabbed his hand and ran it down my side before leaving it on my ass. He squeezed my plump ass and lightly spanked me.

Just as I erupt into giggles, there was a knock at the door. Are you fucking kidding me? "Yeah?" I called out and stood up to throw Senri's dress shirt at him.

"You want any ramen?" Chaotic called out. He better not be looking through the door.

"Fuck yeah!" I cheered and threw my hands in the air. I love it when Chaotic makes ramen.

"Does Shiki want some too?"

I looked back at Senri and he shrugged his shoulders, "Yeah just a little."

"Okay give me 30 mins."

"Nice work this time," Kaito threw me a towel, "you're better at defense but we're going to work on offense next time. I'll be gone on a mission for a couple of weeks however. So work harder with your bloodsucker friend."

It was Friday, February 4th. I just finished training with Kaito after training with Takuma a couple hours ago. Senri was at a photoshoot with Rima this afternoon so I'm happy that Kaito came to keep me busy before class.

By now I ignore the whole insults thing until they're completely outta line.

"What do you have to do?"

"I can't say."

"I hope you be careful and stay safe."

Kaito squinted his eyes at me and slightly cocked his head to the side, "why? Because you'll have no one to teach you how to fight?"

I stared at him with my eyebrows furrowed, "because I care about you? I know you don't like my choice of friends but I consider you a friend. Under all the smartass remarks and attitude I think you're a decent guy and a great teacher. Although you hand me my ass most days, eventually I'll kick your ass!" I gave him my best shit eating grin and he rolled his eyes and laughed in my face.

"I do not consider you a friend."

"That's okay, eventually you will." I was very sure of myself. "What's the point in you training me if you're not trying to help me. Why would you help me if you don't consider me a friend? What's there to gain from all of this?"

Kaito puts his tie back on and I thought he was ignoring me until he responded with, "maybe I'm trying to gain knowledge of the bloodsuckers."

I kept my calm, "well you already know I can't talk about Chaotic. What do you want to know?"

"You'd actually tell me?" He sneered.

"If it's within reason and common knowledge, yes? But my loyalty lies with them."

He looked as if he wanted to say something but he held off and continued grabbing his belongings. He did however say something about 'it's not worth it' under his breath and headed towards the staircase.

I ran up to him and grabbed his arm, "I'm serious Kaito. Please make it back safely." He ripped his arm outta my grasp and said 'whatever'. Once we got upstairs, he headed straight for the exit and I watched him leave before looking for the Headmaster.

"Dad, why is Kaito such an ass?" I plopped down on the spinning chair on the other side of his desk.

The Headmaster looked up at me from his glasses, "Kaito is a very unique person. He had a rough upbringing. He also trained under Yagari with Zero growing up; that's partly the reason why they are the way they are."

"Why did he get all quiet when I told him that I cared about him and to be safe on his next mission."

The Headmaster sighed, "Look it's better that you hear the reasons from Kaito himself but he probably never had someone openly say that he was cared for."

"Is being a vampire hunter a lonely life?"

"...it can be. It depends on who you surround yourself with."

I stood up and messed around with some things around the room, "a few days ago, Kaito mentioned that I could be a descendant from a hunter with my ability to sense vampires."

"He sure does like to talk," the Headmaster said under his breath. "While it could be a possibility you're still lacking in other departments. Fast healing, good hearing, the speed of a vampire."

"Hey are you callin' me slow?" I joked trying to ease the seriousness of the room. "I'm gonna head out, see you later!"

"Can you guys believe it's only nine days before Valentine's Day?"

It was the 4th block and I guess the teacher wasn't coming. So we're using it as a free period. Aidou was hyper as fuck. He was telling Chaotic, October and me about how crazy Valentine's Day gets. And of course how he gets all the chocolates.

"Hey I got some last year!" Nao-chan chirped from across the room.

"Is it only boys? They have white day in Japan huh?" I asked while eating some popcorn.

"White day is a thing in Japan but we don't participate in it." A student in the far back corner answered me. I'm not sure on her name.

"Senri, I'm looking forward to eating your chocolates on Valentine's Day~!" I said in a sing-song voice. He was sitting next to Rima down before the three of us.

"I don't wish to participate."

"But ya gotta! I'm gonna starve to death. How else am I going to brag to the Day Class girls that I ate their chocolates," I gave a belly laugh and then suddenly gasped, "Oh my god I could eat the chocolates in front of the Day Class girls. I'm a genius!"

"Way to crush people's hearts, Cassie."

"Crushing dreams since 1994" I gave an evil laugh and then laughed at my laugh.

"What's in your popcorn bag?" October questioned while trying to hide her laughter.

"Popcorn" I jumped down to the seat next to Rima to escape October's wrath. I have a feeling this will be a long 90min class. Or well I wonder if I can go on patrol now.

"Kaname? Can I go on patrol now?" I ignored Ruka's glare since I didn't use -sama at the end of his name.

He dismissed me and I left the classroom only to realize that I forgot my popcorn when I ran back in, the lights were off and all you could see across the room was glowing red eyes all looking at me. Even Chaotic! Okay these guys are fucking freaks!

"I just want my popcorn and then you guys can do whatever the hell you were doing," I nervously snort laughed, caught the bag Senri threw at me, and then got the hell outta dodge. Honestly, if I were to question everything vampires do I'd lose my damn mind… but I am going to ask Senri later about all that.

Running out of the school I began searching for Yuuki; she's usually easier to find instead of Zero. Walking through the trees with the crisp air made me think I was back home in Nebraska. Just as I was beginning to daydream, I heard a commotion. Heading closer to the noise I could hear it was Yuuki calling Aidou's name. I just left him in class not even five minutes ago! What trouble could he have gotten into now?!

Coming up from behind Aidou, I grabbed the back of his neck and threw that motherfucker to the ground WWE style.

"What the fuck are you doing to my sister?" I screeched like a barn owl. I looked down at Yuuki and stood in front of her when I noticed her hand was bleeding. There were bite marks in her hand. Candy Kain was present but he hadn't done anything to stop Aidou from biting Yuuki's hand.

Aidou jumped up from the ground with his fangs bared and eyes glowing red, talking about how I ruined his snack. Then a gun being cocked echoed through the air.

"Did you lose your mind being drunk on the scent of blood, vampire?" It was Zero and I don't even have to look over at him to know he's pissed.

"No, but she was yummy."

Zero shot his gun.

When I opened my eyes, it looked like Yuuki had pushed Zero's arm up and caused his aim to hit a nearby tree. The symbol of his gun was glowing on the tree. That must be the power of an anti-vampire weapon.

"That scared me!" That was Aidou.

"Stupid! Why did you shoot?" that was Yuuki.

Time finally zapped back to reality for me.

"You don't shoot at my classmates!" I screamed at Zero, pulling Aidou behind me.

Zero glared murderously at me, "he bit her!"

"Yeah you beat him up NOT FUCKING KILL HIM!" I was so furious that I was shaking and I got up in Zero's face.

"That's enough, Cassie." Kaname placed his hand on my shoulder and instantly my shaking stopped and I took a step back.

Kaname glanced over at Zero and Yuuki telling them he'll take the fools to the Moon Dormitory and wait for the Headmaster's punishments. We were supposed to carry the girls back to the Headmaster's office so he can erase their memories.

I grabbed one of the girls and carried her bridal style as I watched Zero use his tie as a bandage for Yuuki's hand. I would've waited for them but I was still cooling down. That gun shot rang around in my ears, even now. I threw the girl over my shoulder and took off running. Fucking Day Class. Why did they have to be out anyways?

"I hope Yuuki's okay." I mumbled to myself as I opened the door to the Headmaster's house.

"Where is he?"

As I stormed into the Moon Dormitory, Chaotic met me at the door and I attempted to push him out of the way with no success.

"Ya ain't gonna do shit." Chaotic looked down at me with arms out on either side of my shoulders. "Kaname has already taken care of him and Kain. You don't need to do anything but calm your horses."

"My horses want a stampede!" I side checked Chaotic and stomped upstairs, ignoring Takuma, Senri, and Rima on the couches. Chaotic started following me once he saw me making a turn towards Aidou's and Candy Kain's room.

"Cassie!"

I bolted to their door and knocked, once I heard a voice I stepped in and closed the door. I marched up to Aidou. He was sitting on his bed in his pjs and staring at me with wide eyes.

"First of all, are you okay?" I cupped both his cheeks and checked the right side of his face. There was a red mark on the left side of his face but I know that wasn't from Zero. Then went back to squishing his cheeks together until it looked like fish lips.

"I'm fine, why?" he managed to mumble out.

"That's great because when I'm done with you, you won't be okay." I let go of his face and raised my voice, "why did you have to be so stupid? Why did you do that with Yuuki-"

"I'm not to be scolded by a human-" Aidou stood up and tried to push past me but I stopped him.

"You're a fucking idiot if you think you're too good just because you're a vampire. You're here as a student and I'm a Prefect! What you did was incredibly stupid. Not just for the Yuuki thing but Zero is literally looking for any reason to kill any one of you guys."

"Fine, if you want me to respect you, let me drink your blood."

Chaotic opened the door, "absolutely not."

I shoved my hand in Aidou's face. Candy Kain looked like a fucking fish outta water. "Do it. I want you to bite me, Aidou. Chaotic, get in here and close the door. I want him to do it."

"I don't want to be in here when he does."

"Oh come on you big baby, it's not that bad." I turned back to Aidou and waved my left hand in his face, "c'mon I don't have all day. Bite me. Or is Hanabusa Aidou a chicken who's scared to bite the human Prefect."

Aidou glanced at Chaotic and he shrugged his shoulders, keeping his hand near his face. He's such a big baby. My blood can't smell that bad.

Aidou grabbed my hand and bit it. Fucking ass didn't even numb it first. It took three seconds for him to realize the mistake he had made. He runs for the trash basket in the corner of the room and spits out my blood along with dry heaving.

I glanced at Candy Kain. He had his nose covered with the blanket and Chaotic was pinching his nose.

Chaotic grabbed a tissue box and threw it at me to wipe off my hand but I refused. Senri will be here soon. "Cassandra Leach wipe your bleeding hand!"

"No, I want Senri."

Senri barged through the door and examined the crime scene. "Are you alright?" He asked, taking my hand.

"Yes," I pouted, "Aidou-kun didn't numb my hand before biting me so now it stings."

Senri growled before he licked my palm, cleaning the blood off and then healing my wound. He then bit his right pointer finger and used his blood whip to pick up Aidou and brought him face to face with me.

"What do you say?" Senri asked in a monotone voice.

"You two are bonded with each other? Is the blood gone? Is it safe to breathe? Let go of me!"

"Aidou said he'll respect me if he drinks my blood." I spoke in a sing-song voice.

"What do you say?" Senri asked again, squeezing Aidou tighter.

"Okay I'm sorry! Just please leave the room so we can air it out."

Senri lets him go and his blood whip goes back inside him.

As we were walking out of the room I grabbed Senri's right hand and kissed his finger.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm kissing the pain goodbye, silly." I also played a memory of my youth where my grandma kissed one of my owies so the pain would go away.

He opened my bedroom door for me and told me he never experienced something like that as a kid.

"Well let's make more happy memories. Every time you have to bite your finger for your power or just when you get hurt. I'll kiss your owie." I kissed his nose before hugging him tightly. "You heal me up all the time like a nurse. I want to nurse you back too."

I let go and changed out of my uniform into my pjs. It's Saturday morning so we can sleep in. Once I had my t-shirt on, I unclipped my bra and joined Senri under the covers. I don't sleep with thigh high socks anymore when I'm with him. "I'm sorry for making you worry earlier."

Senri widened his eyes; he unexpectedly played the memory of his hand hurting and then the smell of my blood in the air. "I'm just glad you're safe."
