Marrinet's POV
Marrinet sighed as she looked up to see Adrien continue to write in his notebook. After having a few months of being in the same class with him she was still totally in love with him even if she never really talked to him because she kept stumbling over her words and being a total klutz. "Okay, students, I have an announcement to make." Mrs. Bustier called the class to order. "A new student will be joining the class today. I would like you all to meet Xander," she said as a tall kid with jet black hair and pale skin walked in. He wore black jeans and black boots with a black muscle shirt. The only thing that wasn't black was a glittering white pendant hung on a small chain around his neck. "Rose, would you mind sitting in the back next to Lila so Xander can be more central in the class?" she said. Rose nodded but as I looked at Xander he looked oblivious to everything else in the room as he stared at Juleka. He started to move up the rows to the new desk beside her but as he passed Chloe she grabbed his hand. "What kind of ring is that, no one who dresses like trash should have something so expensive," She said. I looked to see what she meant and saw that once taking a closer look his clothes were a little worn. But the ring he wore caught everyone's attention. It was a silver band with a gem on it that looked like what you would get if you liked a ruby and a sapphire together; the reds and blues combined in a swirl creating a beautiful effect. Xander tugged his hand out of hers as fast as he could but ended up losing his balance and crashing hard to the floor. Everyone jumped up to see if he was hurt but he simply got up and walked to his seat without saying a word. " Chloe," Mrs. Bustier said, "That is not how we treat our new students here, apologize right now!" Chloe simply rolled her eyes and didn't say anything. Mrs. Bustier simply sighed and turned towards the board to start the lesson. Soon the bell rang for lunch and we began packing up for lunch. "Remember that tomorrow is the class gift exchange," Mrs. Bustier said as she set a bowl of scraps of paper on her desk. "Please pick a slip of paper and then get a gift that you think that person will like." We filed by and each picked up a piece of paper. I unfolded to see that I had to get a present for NIno. "Who did you get?" I asked Alaya. She showed me her slip that read CHLOE. "Oh, sucks for you," I said even though I was relieved that I wasn't the one getting stuck with her. "I know," she said in exasperation. "What am I supposed to get that stuck-up snob?" We grabbed lunch and sat beside Rose, Juleka, and Alix. "Who'd you all get," I asked as I picked up my sandwich. "I got Max," Alix said as was polishing her rollerblades. "I got Melene," said Rose, but Juleka didn't answer. Juleka showed us her paper, Xander it read in black marker. "What am I supposed to get him?" She asked in a quiet voice "He only just got here and if I don't have a present for him by tomorrow it will look like I'm a bully who didn't get him a gift." She bowed her head in her hands. "Well, that's an easy fix," said a soft musical voice behind us. It was Xander standing there smiling at Juleka. "I am throwing a party tonight to help me get to know everyone and make some new friends. I was wondering if you 5 would like to attend?" He handed out some flyers and then turned away but paused and looked back at us. "Trust me when I say that I don't need a gift." He then turned away and walked towards the boy's table.
Adrein's POV
I looked up to see Xander walking over from where the girls sat. Something looked familiar about him. Max, Nino, Kim, and Ivan looked up as well. "Yo, Xander what's up" Nino said as he sat down beside me. "Nothing much I just wanted to ask if you guys would like to come to my party tonight. It will be a party like you've never seen before. It will shake the city." "Count me in then," Kim said. "It would be nice to get out," Max agreed. "Can Melene come too?" asked Ivan, "Sure she can." "You know I love a party so you can count me in" Nino said "Adrien you're already cleared to come," Xander said as took a bite out of his bread. "Wait what do you mean, my father would never let me come." I was confused how he could be so sure that I could come? "Let's just say your next modeling shoot will have a partner," he said with a grin. Suddenly it hit me, "your Xander Xavier that's why you looked so familiar." My friends just looked at me weird. He laughed quietly, "Let's keep that on the down low but since they already heard you might know me better as Double X." "What!" They yelled as the whole cafeteria turned to stare. "SHH" he said "I am trying to get to know everybody before I tell anyone, though the party will probably throw that out of the window. I know that a few of our classmates would just try to be friends with me because I am a model and singer in America." They nodded their heads and agreed to keep it a secret. Just then Chloe walked over. "Ohh Adrienkins, why are you sitting with this riff-raff? He's clearly just trying to get your money to buy better clothes." She laughed but then snatched the flier out of my hands. "Hey" I said but she ignored me and looked at the address. "This can't be right, this address is for one of the biggest mansions in the city." she flipped the card over "Signed Xander Xavier, OMG your Double X," she screamed out loud. Everyone stared at him. "Well that's my cue" he said as he rushed for the door with a mob of girls following him Chloe in the lead.
