Zodia's POV
It had been a few days since the city began rebuilding and the group's injuries had begun to heal. The time she had spent with the turtles was something she would never forget- meeting and talking with them, fighting alongside her childhood heroes- these were memories she would forever cherish in her heart(and she had a photo to prove it, no less). Donnie had even decided to let her keep Starshine, since the scythe would only respond to her energy, but also because he had come to see her as a friend.
As she stood before the group on the rooftop overlooking the city with a bittersweet and warm smile, Zodia couldn't help feeling her heart clench at the thought of leaving them behind. She thought about each of them and how much closer she felt to them now that she had gotten to meet and spend time with them in person. Zodia stepped forward, taking April's hands with tears forming in her eyes, "April, it was such a pleasure to meet you, girl. You are one of the most fearless, sassy, and reckless chicks I have ever seen. Stay crazy, my friend." Zodia gave the girl a warm hug before moving on.
Next, she moved to take Casey's hands, "Case, you were incredibly brave to go back in time and take the risk that you did. You should be proud- and you know your senseiis would be, too." Zodia pulled Casey into a warm hug next then moved to the next person.
Next was Splinter, "Master Splinter, you raised your sons well. You are incredibly wise, albeit a little crazy, and I am so honored to have met you in person." Zodia gave a respectful bow before moving over to Mikey.
"Mikey," Zodia began as she placed a hand on his shoulder, "You crazy goofball- you never fail to get yourself into some wild situations, always with a smile. You're always there for everyone, too. Stay wild, ya goof." She gave the orange turtle a tight hug before she wiped a few tears, moving to look up at Raph, "Raph, you care allot about your family and your friends, even if you don't show it. You're incredibly strong, but you have to remember that even the strong need support sometimes. It's okay to ask for help- and you know your bros won't hesitate to be there for you."
Tearfully, she moved to stand in from of the blue ninja, "Leo, you learned more than anybody through all of this. You went from reckless and egotistical, to confident and a team player. You should be proud of that, of how much you've grown." She gave Leo a hug as well before moving to stand in front of Donnie with a fond tearful smile, "Donnie, you are an absolute genius and I am honored to carry a weapon made by your hand. Never forget that you are just as important as everyone else- and don't forget to take care of yourself. Your work will still be there, but that big brain of yours can't function properly if you don't take proper care of yourself."
She wasn't going to hug Donnie because she knew he had an aversion to physical touch, so she was caught off guard when he suddenly pulled her into a hug. After a moment, she hugged him back before he let go, the two sharing a warm bittersweet smile. Then she turned to Mikey, "You ready, Mike?"
"Ready when you are, Zo," Mikey nodded and she moved to stand behind him, a hand on his shoulder. He raised his hands to activate his mystic power and Zodia used her energy to connect with his. Zodia closed her eyes and helped Mikey direct his energy to a world that felt like hers and like before, he opened a portal. Zodia gave them all a tearful glance before stepping through the portal and turning to give a teary wave as the portal closed, cutting her off from their world.
