"You know, I'm surprised you wanted to go ugly sweater shopping when you look good in everything,"
Marinette told Adrien as they entered the thrift shop and Adrien chuckled. "Love, as much as I admire your creations, I don't think a potato sack counts as a holiday sweater."

Marinette's eyes widened as she grabbed his forearm as he headed to the sweaters. "Wait! That's it! I can make a Lucky Charm sweater!" Adrien's eyes widened and he pretended to be shocked. "My Lady! Using your powers for personal gain? Tut, tut." Marinette crossed his arms as she followed her partner boyfriend deeper into the racks. "Hey, no. How is it personal gain when I'm making it for you?"

Adrien opened his mouth, thought for a moment then closed it. Marinette smirked, now looking smug. "Cat got your tongue, Kitty?" Adrien leaned over, whispering. "You know, I always could pull out the Cat suit."

Marinette glared. "That's not a sweater! And besides, I'm not having the girls all over you." Adrien started pawing through the racks nonchalantly. "Could it so happen that your…." he paused for dramatic effect. "Jealous?"

"So what if I am? And what about your identity?" "Meh, I'll just tell them I took my Princess to the ball. Oh, no way!"

"What?" Marinette was curious. "I found your sweater!" Adrien held it up triumphantly. "Really? The Grinch?" "Come on, its cute!" "Fine, I'll try it on. But you owe me a Starbucks."

"I'd be paying anyway," Adrien turned back to the rack. He was complementing on a fireplace sweater or maybe Darth Vader? He felt a tap on his shoulder, and he turned expecting Marinette.

"So, the Grinch, huh?" "Ah!" Adrien shrieked, finding who looked like the actual fluffing Grinch standing next to him.

"Relax, it's me, Marinette!" Marinette flipped back the hood. "Isn't this adorable? I found on my way to the changing room." Adrien clutched at his chest. "I think another one of nine lives in the books."

He slipped the sweaters back on the rack, heading for the exit. Marinette followed close behind, after purchasing the dreaded suit. Hm, was there a way he could use his charm to have her go as Ladybug to the Ugly Sweater Dance at school? He didn't want to dance with the Grinch!
