One day, Deku was in his dorm doing some random sketches of All Might. While he didn't consider himself nearly as good an artist as Todoroki, he still thought it was fun. Besides, it wasn't a competition, and he thought life was a lot more fun when people cooperated instead of competing. Then, while he was drawing, he heard a frantic knocking on his door.

"Coming!"

Deku opened the door, and…

"DEKU!" Todoroki grabbed Deku by the shoulders and shook him. "You gotta check this out!"

"Whoa, slow down!" Deku made a gentle pushing motion towards Todoroki. "What are you so excited about?"

Todoroki smiled. "I saw the GREATEST TV show EVER!"

Deku smiled too. "Well, if it's great as you say it is, we'll have to check it out together!"

Deku and Todoroki went to the latter's dorm, where she turned on her TV and Xbox Series X, put on Netflix and opened up a show called The Adventures of Monsignor Martinez. In the cold opening for this episode, the title character was officiating over a wedding between the son of a drug lord and the son's girlfriend. Meanwhile, Todoroki – who had an enthusiastic smile on her face – put her hand on Deku's shoulder and shook him.

"Ooh, this is the good part!"

Martinez caught sight of a glint out of the corner of his eye, and he looked without turning his head, only to see one of the wedding guests reaching for a gun.

"Vaya con Dios."

With that, Martinez whipped out dual Uzis and proceeded to mow down a bunch of cartel members while innocent people screamed and scrambled about, hoping to avoid getting shot. As soon as Martinez had said "vaya con Dios", Todoroki burst out laughing hysterically, much to Deku's confusion:

"I don't get it. What's so funny?"

"Don't you get it!? It's funny because he said 'vaya con Dios'!"

Todoroki continued to laugh, while Deku formed an annoyed look on his face.

"Shoko, I love you, but you need to listen to me: you are WEIRD! Weird! W-E-I-R-D weird!"

"Oh, like you're normal, green boy?"

Todoroki continued to laugh, while Deku continued to wonder just what had gotten into her. Eventually, however, he ended up cracking up too.

"I'm sorry, but you're just too cute when you laugh!" said Deku.

"Awww, thank you!"

Deku and Todoroki grabbed each other and fell to the floor snuggling. Even if they didn't always understand each other, at least they loved each other, and that was the most important thing in the world.
