A/N: Finally, after two long years, this fic is up on Archive of Our Own!

It was a partly cloudy summer day, and Deku was spending it with Todoroki at the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall. To be more precise, they were at a makeup and beauty store called Cosmetropique. Currently, they were in a section dedicated to eye makeup such as eyeliner and eyeshadow.

"Thanks again for coming along with me, Deku!"

Deku smiled. "You're welcome, Shoko! Any other guy would've been embarrassed to go to a makeup store with his girlfriend, but then again, I'm not any other guy." Deku averted his gaze. "Although, I'm still wondering exactly why you wanted me to come here with you…"

"It was more of a moral support thing than anything else. I love trying new kinds of makeup because I love seeing the looks on everyone else's faces and hearing them tell me how beautiful I look, but at the same time, there are just so many choices for makeup that I don't even know where to begin, not to mention the questions I have to ask myself: how much money do I have to spend? Will this last throughout the whole day? Did the company test this on animals?"

Deku nodded throughout Todoroki's spiel. "Sounds like you've really put a lot of thought into this. I'll be happy to help any way I can, though!"

"Then maybe you can help me with this…"

Todoroki grabbed two different brands and colors of eyeliner off the shelf and handed them to Deku.

"I really wanna buy that pink eyeliner because I've never tried that color before, plus that particular one is cheap enough, but at the same time, I feel like the orange one would really go well with my complexion, even if it is a bit more expensive," said Todoroki.

"I think the pink one would look beautiful on you!" Deku smiled. "Just let me look at something…"

Deku pulled out his phone and looked up info on the particular brand of pink eyeliner that Todoroki had selected. Then, he frowned.

"Shoko, you might wanna reconsider the pink one."

"Let me guess: it was tested on animals?"

Deku nodded. "Yeah, that particular company recently came under fire when they were found to have been testing on animals."

Todoroki shrugged. "Oh well. Thank you for at least letting me know."

"You're welcome!"

Deku put the pink eyeliner back.

"Anything else I can help you with?" asked Deku.

Todoroki nodded. "Now I just need to find some eyeshadow that would go with it."

"Gladly!"

Todoroki pored through the eyeshadow, and Deku smiled as he looked on, thinking about how different kinds of makeup would really make her beauty shine…not that she needed a lot of it.
