Deku was taking a walk about the grounds of UA, hoping to get some fresh air and to clear his head. While he didn't mind staying in his dorm and playing video games or stuff like that, he also enjoyed outdoors time too. In fact, a good breath of fresh air revitalized him like nothing else could. Of course, there was one other thing that revitalized his body and mind…

"DEKU!"

Todoroki – who had also been out for a walk – ran up to Deku and gave him a big hug and kiss, which he gladly returned. Even if both parties knew this was a given in their relationship, it never got any less hot or sweet. In some cases, they felt like it got even better. They broke away eventually, but not without smiles on their faces.

"Boy, am I glad to see you, Shoko!"

Todoroki giggled. "You're always glad to see me! Why should this time be any different?"

"Because, I wrote a poem for you!"

Todoroki let out a happy gasp as her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! What a coincidence; I also wrote a poem for you!"

"Well, let's see it!"

Deku and Todoroki exchanged their poems. Deku's was titled "Beauty In White and Red":

"Born of two different worlds,
Crystal ice and smoldering flame,
Forged by an unforgiving blacksmith,
Child of Venus, forced onto Mars.

A rose with white and red petals,
Smelling sweetest of them all,
And yet, once having a sour disposition,
Growing thorns against outrageous fortune.

Forced to hide her embers,
Yet slowly strangled by the cold she holds so dear,
Crying out for someone to hear her heart,
Her pleas answered by the one in green.

Sour turns to sweetness,
White embraces red,
Both colors embracing her verdant green,
Free of the darkness that once clouded her."

As for Todoroki, she'd written a poem titled "One For All, All For Me":

"Your hair and eyes are green like the forest of my mind,
Your smile brighter than any star that blanketed the night sky,
You helped me to see where once I had been blind,
You held my bruised soul tight when I wanted to cry.

You gave me the strength to make my power my own,
You gave me the courage to show my true identity,
When I hear the sweet song of your voice, I'm never alone,
With your power and mine, we create a new reality.

In sickness and health, you've helped to nurse my soul,
In happiness and sadness, you've held me tight,
With the ladder of your love, I've climbed out from a hole,
Your freckled face graces my sweet dreams every night.

You'll always be my hero, even if the world turns against you,
I'll love you forever, even as we grow gray and frail,
I'll turn your frown into a smile, just as you've done for me too,
When we join our hearts together, we can never fail."

Todoroki was the first to offer her opinion of Deku's poem:

"That was such a vivid portrait of me! You truly are a gifted poet, although I gotta ask: why did none of it rhyme?"

"Poetry doesn't always have to rhyme; it's more about what you just said: painting vivid imagery with the art of words, and you did a good job yourself!"

"Why, thank you! I worked pretty hard on it!"

"And it shows!"

"Awww!"

Deku and Todoroki embraced each other before lying on the ground and snuggling with each other.

Criticism is gold. Negativity and nitpicking are pyrite.
