When the projection was
Curiously, this time the screen was lit up again almost immediately, preventing the audience from delving into their thoughts
After a few minutes of Percy being told of the pirate Servant's inappropriate tastes, and having to sit still when three youthful-looking Heroic Spirits clung to each other for protection, everyone concluded that it was best to end the introductions.
The huntresses and their divine lady were more than furious, so they began to rant about typical men, who were animals, who would never change, which began to annoy several, the men wanted to defend themselves, but they were worried about the arrows of the hunting lovers
On the other hand, Ares had no such concern, so he began to speak saying that no son of his would waste his time with a girl who doesn't even have... it was to be expected that he would be interrupted when the man-hating maidens realized what Ares was about to say, annoying them more, so Artemis was the first to shoot, followed by Zoe and then the rest.
The Amazons hesitated for a moment to help their divine patron as they did not share his ideas, but he was their divine patron. And they didn't fare well considering how outnumbered they were.
The children of war were ashamed of their progenitor, while the Romans were feeling that the image they had of one of their two most important gods was shattered with each passing moment, Octavian on the other hand began to say that he was right about the Greeks being just savages, being silenced by his companions quickly so that the others would not hear him and reminding him that the god of war was one of their most important gods; unfortunately they were listened to, so the past and future Greeks were angry as well as responding to what was said by the descendant of Apollo.
This led to an argument that grew with each passing moment that several were about to throw themselves into a fight, curiously Jason Grace was the one who tried to calm everyone down which may not have been good since both camps saw him getting angrier and angrier, he was saved from being lynched because Chiron joined him to calm everyone down, Well, at least the Greeks wouldn't lynch him; however, Athena had been one of the deities who paid no attention to Ares' fight with Artemis, but instead paid attention to the campers.
Now, if we consider his hatred of the Romans, you can imagine what happened... with her encouraging the Greeks and ready to join them in the fight about to break out.
Meanwhile Hephaestus was enjoying Ares being wounded by their sister, Aphrodite encouraging her lover to her husband's annoyance, Hera indifferent to what was happening, as Demeter, Hermes and Apollo were attentive to intervene for the demigods, because this was getting more and more out of control
Ariadne worried about what was about to happen and telling her husband to do something, who said he would if a fight really broke out between the half-breeds, only to get up at the sight of his wife's annoyed look and go try to calm things down or delay at least the fight of the idiotic demigods in his opinion.
Hestia watched everything that happened in disappointment, with Hades and his wife watching them with annoyance as well as muttering about stupid fights and other things.
The Atlanteans shared the feelings of the previous 3 deities, but being increasingly upset, when they had enough Poseidon slammed the base of his trident on the ground, shaking the entire hall, along with a powerful roar
"ENOUGH!" cried the king of the sea
In a way you could say that the shout full of authority and power was unnecessary, because the trembling and rumbling had been more than enough to stop everyone, but no one made the slightest movement or noise
"Artemis!" said Poseidon
The goddess tensed, as did her huntresses, partly because of some fear they began to feel and partly because they thought they were going to have to fight
"Yes, uncle?" said the goddess of the hunt cautiously
"Remember what this Zelretch man said, they're alternate worlds, so that's not exactly what happens here," said the king of Atlantis in a calmer tone, but he still demanded authority and power "Edward Teach may not have been... a person to admire or respect, but the preferences of the Edward of our world may be different from the one we have just seen"
"You see damn... and how is it that my son was not someone to admire, Poseidon?" Ares interrupted himself, referring first to his half-sister and then to his uncle, ignoring the various looks of annoyance and hatred, but he did nothing more to avoid disturbing the father of the horses
"Ares, I recommend that you keep some of your opinions to yourself or retire for a while," was the answer given in a clear tone of warning, leaving the god of war annoyed at being spoken to like that, but seeing that no one looked at him in a way that supported him, he decided to leave with a grunt, After a moment Poseidon spoke to the huntresses, who stood firm, "Returning to the point, niece, the world is not the same as it was 1000 years ago... 2000 years ago... Or even more, the world changes, societies change, people change... It's true that there will always be... nefarious individuals, but don't blame everyone for the actions of a few.
Everyone was surprised as no one dared to say something like that to a huntress, much less to the goddess of the hunt, who was still shocked by her uncle's actions, but was not entirely willing to accept it
"Amazons, if the cause or reason for a fight is worth fighting... fight, if not, don't do it," the said Amazons remained silent.
"Demigods" when they were mentioned the campers began to feel fear, especially the Romans, while some of the Greeks of the future had memories of the battle of Manhattan, remembering Percy who gave them awe and some fear because of how he fought, the difference now is that Poseidon was just talking, they didn't know if that was worse or better, they were inclined to the former "Does it matter?"
You could see the clear confusion on the faces of the campers as they didn't understand what the king of the sea was asking, to this Poseidon explained his question better
"Does it really matter to fight each other?" the demigods fell silent, making the god continue "When all they get is blood and death when they are part of the same Greco-Roman pantheon"
Silence followed what the king of Atlantis had said, as no one dared to speak, although there was someone who did not think the same
"Of course matters, Poseidon!" said Athena angrily.
Before Poseidon could speak, Triton did, earning a glance from his father, but letting his son continue
"Really?... why?" said the prince, unimpressed by the goddess
"Why?... WHY?!" Athena ended up shouting, "ISN'T IT OBVIOUS?!"
"I don't see what you mean."
"THE ROMANS!" those mentioned were offended, but they remained silent "They did not accept who we are... distorted who we are... They denied who we are!"
"Then you just cling to something that happened millennia ago," Athena became angrier and angrier at what Triton said, "yet I don't see the world as the same, the world is no longer the same, Greece is no longer the same, or Rome and mortals no longer worship us," that stopped the goddess of wisdom for a moment and before she could speak or do anything, "I admit that the Romans should assume that we have or do not have certain dominions, attributing some or taking others away from us, is a great offence, especially you, who were among the most affected, which also bothered us... We were offended by what they did to you... and..." Athena was silent, like the rest, surprised by Triton's admission and turned to look at the rest of the Atlanteans who did not deny what they said.
Athena was totally surprised and wondered what the messenger of the seas was referring to, so she began to remember how they would punished Rome, but as she did so she also thought about why they would do it for her, which brought back memories that she had decided to forget.
"Those stor... storms... Droughts... Were you?" asked the goddess in a trembling tone, as she was more and more affected by this revelation; The Atlanteans understood to which they only nodded, Athena despite her surprise noticed the look in Triton's eyes recognizing it as a look she had not given her for a long time.
As soon as the demigods were trying to understand what was happening, what they were talking about, even the other gods had a hard time fully understanding, only Hestia understood, the goddess of the hearth seeing what was happening, made her decide on what she had been thinking for a while now. Although he was worried about Hera, as the goddess of marriage had kept quiet so far.
What no one expected, however, was that they would have to cover their eyes because Athena left, to which Triton and other gods could feel where she went, with the messenger about to follow her, only to stop when the queen of the sea spoke.
"Give her time... She's got a lot to think about—
It took Triton a few seconds to nod, while the demigods still wanted to know what the hell was going on, but they didn't dare ask.
Finally they chose to continue with the projection, but to say that the campers had no questions would be an absurd lie, being the children of wisdom the most curious and it was not necessarily because of their thirst for knowledge with they were labeled, but that they were totally curious as to why Triton a son of Poseidon, as well as the rest of the Atlanteans cared about Athena, when his mother and the king of the sea hated each other... They would find out later
"Good... very good" The hero trainer muttered more to himself than to the others, being that he had his right hand on his heart to control the erratic pulses generated by the son of Poseidon with his contributions.
Despite the silence that existed because of what had happened before, Chiron could identify with his counterpart since that is how he felt a while ago
"Chiron?" Taking pity on the centaur, the son of Thetis called.
-Let them continue...- Without even looking up, Kronos' son pointed to the trio who were keeping their distance from Achilles.
With a new focus of curiosity, Jackson looked expectantly at the three people indicated, waiting to learn more about those he had read or heard in his childhood, either from the stories Sally read him at night, or in the ancient history classes that taught him so much despite his attention deficit disorder.
Several were curious about who Sally was, those who didn't know who she was, although they had an idea, and others who already knew her smiled fondly
"Hmmm... Ladies first?" Not knowing who was going to speak after they were silent, Percy offered the floor to the white-haired woman who fulminated at him in the same way that a certain daughter of Ares used to do.
The two versions of Clarisse in the audience raised a curious eyebrow, while the rest of the children of war, and others had different thoughts about the woman's appearance
"I am Penthesilea, queen of the..." she introduced herself, being about to reveal her affiliation the instant the black-haired man opened his mouth unconsciously.
Hylla and the rest of the Amazons present were excited to see an ancient queen of the Amazons, and jealous because they were not the ones who knew her in person, the rest of the children of war especially the Greeks felt the same to some extent since that was their sister
"Amazon. Hylla and the others would have been beyond excited to meet you, you're like... Well, you're a legend to them. More after fighting Otrera" he finished the sentence for her, recognizing her perfectly and telling her things he knew.
Greeks and gods wondered internally how the green-eyed man knew that, what history he had with the Amazons, leading them to various ideas and wondering about Otrera, who was an Amazon who had been dead for millennia
That seemed to give a resounding change of attitude in the woman, who quickly appeared in front of the demigod with an anxious gleam in her eyes, showing her interest in knowing more about the legacy he left in the world where the Age of the Gods still existed.
"How are they?, are they still excellent warriors?, who is the queen?, Is Lady Hera still protecting us, how did you meet them?" The beautiful monarch of the Amazons bombarded with question after question, making the son of Poseidon uncomfortable, who was little accustomed to the situations that seemed to be repeated in one world or another.
The Amazons were surprised by Penthesilea's concern and curiosity
"Wow, it looks like someone got our beautiful queen to act out of character," mocking the Amazon's attitudes, the man who was submerged in the River Styx declared.
Immediately after those words, the athletic-built woman had two attitudes that complemented each other. The first was that his brown eyes turned into furious yellow eyes with crimson sclera, and the second was that he basically attacked to kill the spearman, wanting to disembowel him with claws that his gloves had at first, and then tried to crush his head with a large ball full of spikes that was tied to an extensive chain.
Most of them had their mouths almost on the ground due to the appearance of the weapon, its size, the strength of the woman with white hair, as well as the complete change of attitude from a moment ago
"Did she get angry because he said she was beautiful?" Not knowing the real reason for the brawl, Percy wanted to know what was going on, not realizing that everyone had opened their eyes wide and fanned their hands negatively to keep him silent.
Those who knew the luck of the black-haired man mostly thought "idiot" because he would most likely be in trouble now
"I'M NOT BEAUTIFUL!" Penthesilea exclaimed angrily, turning to face Poseidon's son as she left a terrified Achilles behind.
Under the instinct of survival, the watch on the demigod's left wrist, which Tyson gave him again, immediately unfolded and formed a sturdy shield, receiving seconds later a forceful blow that shook the bones of the entire upper right extremity. And just as there was a blow, the second followed, and then proceeded to a third, which was already beginning to numb Jackson's arm.
Concern was growing for the green-eyed was growing, but surprised by the endurance of the green-eye, as several were thinking that, even if they had a shield it would have broken bones from the force of the blow. Some kids at the forge were wondering 'who was Tyson?' because the shield continued to resist, because they remembered several weapons, as well as shields that they had made and that they had to repair after some combats, but none like what they were seeing in the projection.
Poseidon recognized Tyson's name, and would be proud of his son's ability if he weren't worried about his other son's counterpart
The green-eyed man was only grateful that those sitting next to him stepped aside, since in his position he was only forced to lean his body backwards, not even being able to stand up due to the brutal force after the blows. The second his back hit the table and everyone was ready to stop the Amazon, the glass where he had previously tried to drown Orion fell and spilled the water inside, piercing the fabrics of the jacket and T-shirt he was wearing, giving him a fleeting boost of will.
The Greeks of the future, as well as Hazel and Frank, felt calmer now that the odds in favor of the young man with green-eyed were increasing
The Atlanteans on a certain level as well, but smaller, and a little curious as to how much of power the young man would have increased
On the sixth strike, Percy pushed forward with all his might, taking the Servant by surprise. The Greek and Roman Heroic Spirits saw mute the piercing glow in the orbs of the young adult, which shone like an immortal campfire but carried the brute power of the ocean.
Years of fighting monsters day in and day out prepared Percy to be ready to take advantage of every opportunity that came his way, such as seeing Penthesilea neglect the grip of her weapon, so he was able to throw it aside with a swipe of his shield and instantly swing Anaklusmos straight at the female's exposed throat.
Everyone was amazed by the level of skill they could see, however, there were those who were concerned about the story of the young man with green eyes.
The Atlanteans were surprised by the drastic impulse that the black-haired man had with so little water that they turned to see the young version in the audience, who looked worried about what his counterpart was going through
"Are you calm now or do you want to gargle with the water in a toilet?" Having a short flashback of his first day at Camp Half-Blood, Percy inquired seriously.
The Greeks began to laugh to the confusion of the rest, while the two Clarisse fulminated at the rest of the Greeks, but somewhat red with anger and shame
The woman's sclera returned to milky white, showing that she had come out of her frenzied state and noticing that she was about to have her neck sliced by a boy who had barely reached adulthood. She knew she couldn't blame him for reacting like that, since it was her own fault to attack him for uttering that adjective she disliked so much.
"You can stop threatening her, Percy. She calmed down and came back to her senses." Having surrounded the table, Chiron put his right hand on the demigod's shoulder in order to liven up the events.
Several wondered what exactly happened to the white-haired woman
Even if he trusted the centaur, the Jackson stared at the Amazon until he calmed himself, ignoring the event where the angry glare in his eyes subsided to become the peaceful teal again at the same time that a serene smile broke out on the black-haired man's face.
"I'm sorry for that, but it's force of habit. Allow me to remove that mark." Returning to the kind attitude instilled in him by his mother, Percy put away his weapons and hurried to retrieve the knocked-down glass, seeing that there were still a few drops left.
Once again, everyone's curiosity could be seen reflected in the faces of the spectators
Only able to see how the demigod invaded her personal space with no hidden ulterior motives, the queen of the Amazons perceived the cool touch of the water in her throat, intuiting that he was trying to erase the fine cut he made with the celestial bronze sword.
-Ready! – walking away from her as if nothing had happened and it was all a matter of regular training, exclaimed the son of the god of the sea.
Several didn't know what to think due to the actions of the black-haired man, with the Greeks surprised because they don't remember that their friend can heal others with water, while the Atlanteans were even more surprised as it was rare for the demigods to inherit gifts from their progenitors, the boys in hut 3 of the camp, they used to only inherit an increase in physical abilities when they came into contact with the water, a few inherited a few other things, but the green-eyed man on screen was able to heal others, the ones who made them question HOW MUCH he inherited from Poseidon, they knew that the boy who was present with them could talk to the Equines and creatures of the sea, breathing underwater, healing with water, a slight control over it and he was only 12 years old, almost 13. 'How strong would it be in the future?' was the question they had
"... Sister" disbelieving everything that happened in front of him, Achilles called out to the feline-trait hunter.
"Yes, that was all real," understanding the spearman's thoughts, the archer replied.
"It's the first time I've seen a Berserker calm down so quickly without the need for a Master..." murmured a red-haired boy who was standing loudly to a man of similar features.
What the young redhead said gave an idea of what happened to those who recognized the word Berserker
"UMU! It's because he's a son of Neptune!" One of the three Roman blondes, exactly the one who looked like she'd been wearing a wedding dress," she declared vehemently.
There was curiosity about "UMU" as well as fun
An internal argument ensued between the Romans and Greeks, who debated why Penthesilea was able to lose her frenzy against someone who was not a convocation like them, while Chiron only thought that all of her students turned out to be death-reckless, as well as a certain Avenger-class Servant avidly watched the demigod as if trying to find similarities with the men who hurt her.
Chiron thought almost the same thing, that several of his students were completely reckless to death, that apparently the son of the sea would be one of them, several memories came to his mind of activities that his students came up with, which usually end up being canceled since there are always too many injured... sometimes his students forget that they are not indestructible, that they are still half-mortal.
Poseidon, on the other hand, began to worry and massage his temples since apparently his youngest son (demigod), is going to be one of the ones who gives him the most headaches, the other sea gods shared his thoughts to a certain extent, although the king wondered himself, if he should put his son under house arrest in Atlantis for his safety
"At least Nightingale didn't show up all of a sudden..." the hero trainer breathed a sigh of relief.
Some felt they knew that name, while most wondered why this Chiron looked worried.
The screen went dark again
