"So D, what am I looking at? More poetry? At this point, I feel like you wanted to be a poet instead of a medic, man." Orion teased as he raid through a datapad.
"Very funny Pax. But no, it's a treatise. A new one. I started writing another one after those protestors were shot." D-16 drank a cup of Energon.
"Hmm…You have strong feelings on this huh D? There's a chapter here called "After the Age of Expansion: The High Council and the illusion of progress." You feel pretty strong about this huh? And you should. But if you keep speaking out to this degree, the Senate won't react fondly. "
Orion put the Datapad on the table, the two had decided to go to Maccadams for one of their annual meet-ups and because Orion was told D-16 had written something, and Orion was worried for his friend if it was something the Senate wouldn't like. Which it probably is now given that Orion had now read through it all.

"Look Pax, this planet is…diseased, that's the cure. You inspired me even before we met, to take a stand, and you wanted me to think of a stronger way to change things." D-16 put down his cup to which Orion frowned.

"Yeah, but this is a bit too much of a strong way to try to change things. You may want to change things for the better, but you underestimate how terrible the society we want fix is, with only a few exceptions, the Senate is more likely to put a gun to your head if you try to change things to this degree. Trust me, I've had more than a few close calls because the Senate wasn't happy that I didn't beat a miner to a pulp for not following a traffic law." Orion said to D-16 who was about to reply, when they heard a shouting from across the room.

"Now, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to clean it up" An orange and small Bot with bespectacled optics said too…Darkwing and his brother Dreadwind.
"You spilled it, runt. " Dreadwind gestured to spilled Energon on a table.
"It's Rung, I'll buy you another cup but I'm not sorting out that mess. I'm not a service droid." Rung talked to Dreadwind in the most pilot way possible, but Darkwing, who was standing behind Rung, snarled and walked towards him.

"Then who are you? One of the High Guard? The last of the Thirteen? Nova Major's long lost brother?" Darkwing grabbed Rung's shoulder and pulled the Bot towards his face.
"You seem to have forgotten your place in the natural order of things. So, why don't you get down on your knees while you still have knees, and stay there until my Brother and I have finished the ten drinks you're gonna buy us. What do you say huh? Do we have an understanding? " Darkwing said to Rung while Dreadwing pounded his fists in the back.
"Hey Darkwing! Let him go!" Darkwing and Dreadwing turned their heads to the sound of the voice, Orion Pax, who was walking towards them with stoic anger.

"Oh back off Pax! We can do what we want to do!" Darkwing dropped Rung and put his face right directly in front of Orion who simply glared while Dreadwing decided to stay back, not wanting to piss off the "Supercop" who defeated the infamous terrorist, Flame.
"You heard the Bot, he was going to pay for your brother a drink, if you want nine more, you can buy it yourself instead of complaining like Hatchlings about not receiving their infusion." Orion talked back to which Darkwing growled.
"Urgh! We have the right to whatever we want to the lower class! You're lucky we can't do anything to you, Miner. If you ask me, I would've asked Ultra Major to fire you from the squad, and put you into a trash compactor! Because that's where Bots like you belong. So why don't you just back off, before I make you!" Darkwing yelled at Orion whose expression didn't change, Dreadwind put his hands on his face while sighing. He and Darkwing were just cadets. And Darkwing was arguing with one of the most highest ranking officers in not just the Rodion precinct, but was also one of the most popular and famous Bots around Iacon, Tarn, Vos, ect, ect, whatever City, period. He had, a lot of popularity, this was going to suck.
"Alright." Orion punched Darkwing in the face and sent him flying to the table counter.
Darkwing pushed away the broken cups off his body and jumped down from the counter.
Darkwing growling, his arms shifted and transformed into two blasters and pointed it at Orion.
D-16 hid under the table while Orion shrugged, he pulled out his Ion Blaster from his back and carried it in his left hand while his right hand transformed into an Energon blade.

Dreadwing sighed and reluctantly brought an shock baton, he was already gonna be discharged from the academy by association, why not just help his brother make it to that point in one piece.

Maccadam walked back into the room, carrying two cups of Energon, only to gasp upon seeing Orion, Darkwing, and Dreadwind pointing their weapons at each other. He turned his gaze towards the other Bots in the room, they were cowering in fear. He turned his eyes to D-16 who hid under his table, upon noticing him, D-16 gestured towards Maccadam to do something.
SLAM! The three turned their heads around to Maccadam.

"STOP! There will be no fighting in here!" Maccadam yelled at which Darkwing scoffed.
"Says who, old man!?" Darkwing yelled at Maccadam, who simply...sighed.
Gears shifted, limbs went back inside the body while new limbs went out, weapons formed, and his size changed.

"As I said before, there will be no FIGHTING HERE!" Maccadam's voice boomed across the room, Darkwing stepped backwards, his blasters transformed back into his arms.
He turned his back to Orion who had put back the Ion Blaster, and turned his left Energon saber back into his arm, crossing them together and smirked, Darkwing growled.

"You're lucky Pax! I would've mopped the floor with you otherwise! Let's get out of here Dreadwind!" Darkwing stomped out the Oil House while Dreadwind followed while muttering they were screwed.

"Well, that worked out huh Macca-" Orion was slapped in the face by Maccadam while he was transforming back to his normal mode, to which D-16 couldn't help but laugh a bit as he moved from it and helped Orion back to his feet.
"I appreciate that you tried to help an innocent Bot out, but couldn't you have taken the fight of my bar? You know my rules." Maccadam reprimanded Orion while giving him and D-16 the two cups of Energon he was carrying.

"Yeah, well, I couldn't help it. It…reminded me a lot of…you know." Orion said while grabbing the drink, to which Maccadam smiled sadly while D-16 looked in concern.
"Pax…?" D-16 looked to Orion in concern who simply smiled and put his hand on D-16's shoulder.
"C'mon, let's drink up." Orion said.
The two left Maccadam's while the old bartender looked at them in concern, he knew that their lives were going to get worse.

Inside the Grand Imperium, an Silver Tracker walked through the large room, and kneeled down. From above, a shadowy figure rose down from the ceiling, he was covered in metallic armor, and appeared cloaked in metal frames with a cage-like helmet.

"Do they live?" The figure demanded answers from the Tracker, gesturing to a monitor showing Orion and D-16.

"No, Maccadam scared them off." The Silver Tracker said.

"Hrm, as it to be expected, the old fool was a citizen of Iaconus, he had his bite. And even if the fight actually started, Orion Pax would've easily defeated those idiots. Still, this does provide the perfect opportunity for the rest of the Senate to start some controversy." The figure said calmly. The figured then frowned under his helmet as he looked at a monitor showing Sentinel "Prime" and Airchanid.

"But then again, Sentinel may use this to his advantage, he will no doubt use the two as his pawns for his goals…but I grow tired of his deal, Cybertron grows weaker and weaker because of his incompetence, weakness, and cowardice, the pure technological future Cybertron should be is becoming more and more fleeting, because of those organics that Sentinel cowered to everyday, grow stronger and stronger while we die out…yes, those two will work as excellent pawns, Tracker! Orchestrate this scenario that will lead Orion Pax to Shockwave, the rest of the Senate are already planning on exterminating Nominus's life, he has outgrown his usefulness, this will provide Pax with enough doubt to decide to full turn against the Senate, and to ensure that D-16 will reach his full potential." The figure gave a data-disk to the Tracker, he stood up and bowed down to the figure and walked out of the Grand Imperium, leaving the room in silence. The figure looked to a monitor, showing a recording Sentinel, Airchanid, and several Trackers, kneeling down to five-headed beings with tentacles. He chuckled.
Cybertron would soon take it's place as the supreme master over all of the Universe, and soon his vision of the Transformer race would come to be. Senator Proteus would ensure it.
