Meanwhile:
At the base of the Shie Hassakei, Overhaul walks into a control room and asks one of his subordinates, "Have you found the location another Hashirama cell?"
"No sir." The henchman replies, "So far, there doesn't seen to be any signs of one that's located in this part of Japan."
"Huh..." Overhaul gets it, grimacing under his bird mask, "Damn geezer. It was a mistake working with Victor..." He grumbles until he thinks of a plan, "Unless?" He then tells his henchmen, "Victor's base was in Valley City correct?"
"Yes sir." He replies.
"Then I'm sending a unit down there to gather up any remains of the Hashirama cell that Victor used for that fake divine tree." Overhaul states before walking out the control room, "And hopefully there's something to be found for the second project of the quirk bullet." He adds, "Until then, time to get to experimenting on the girl."
When he gets to the operating room, "Is everything ready for the procedure? He asks two masked subrodinates as a medical chair with cuffs is present.
"Sir." The one with medical gloves nods, "We're ready for another test operation on her."
"Alright, now all that's left is-" Before Overhaul finishes, a subrodinated rushes in the room and sounds panicked.
"S-Sir, we have problem!" He exclaims out, "The girl... she got out and ran away!"
Hearing this, Overhaul glares, "What did you just say?"
"S-She escaped!" The lackey stammers and tries explaining, "The door was open when I got-"
Befofe he could finish his fast explanation, Overhaul takes off his right-hand glove and touches the panicked lackey with an aggressive wave, making his whole body splatter of blood as a result.
"Useless filth." Overhaul scoffs and angrily marches out the room.
"..." The henchmen with the checkboard sees this, and inwardly says, "Looks like getting her out was a success this time... now get far away from this place," He hopes, "Eri."
Meanwhile, the train has arrived to Osaka after a couple hours, with several passengers walking off the train and some getting on. Kawaki gets off the train himself, and gazes around the Osaka station, before moving through the people and out the area.
"*Pant*..." Kawaki's sighs in a little exhaustion, "I need to find something to eat, to regenerate faster." He holds his stomach as hit growls, as he moves into the city.
Opening 7 "Hajimatteiku Takamatteiku" by Sambomaster
Starts off with the introduction of Kawaki, who slowly turns around and menacingly raises out his right hand. As he does that, debris starts to levitate around the air as we zoom out to the destruction of Japan before the series title reveals itself.
As the song picks up, we see shots of a few U.A. Students, Boruto(who looks down before gazing up), Izuku(who looks at his scared right hand before gazing forward), Katsuki(who glares with one hand in pocket before un-tightening his right hand to do a mini-explosive), Sarada(who takes off her glasses and activates her Sharingan), Shoto(who looks upward and blows ice fog from his mouth), Mitsuki(who has a snake around his arm/gazes up while sitting on a tree). Next shows some of the Pro heroes(Naruto, All Might, Sasuke, Endeavor, and Shota).
We then cut to the League of Villains, Tomura (with gazes from his hand-mask) the Shins(both serious with their Sharingan's active), and Kurogiri(who opens a portal to his side), along with new recruits: Dabi, Nanashi, Himiko, and Shizuma. With all of them being in the shadow of All for One (who has his back turned in not revealing himself).
Next shows Kawaki in the outskirts and deserted area of Japan as a flock of crows fly nearby. We then move on to Boruto (who's Karma seal activates in his right palm before he closes it) and Izuku (who activates the bio-electricity of One for All around him), along with the rest of Class 1-A in their hero costumes as they all stand in battle positions with firm expressions.
Observing the ruined land of Japan from afar is none other than Kara the Husk, who all have dark black cloaks as the wind breezes through them. We then cut to Kawaki being in what appears to be a test tube and blows a few bubbles as the eye of Kara's leader open gazes over him. This is when the Kara reveals their full appearances, starting with Jigen(who lets down his hood), followed by Delta(who puts a finger under her chin), Boro(who glares under his hood), Amado(who adjusts his glasses), Code(who stretches out an arm), Oga(who smiles nonchalantly), Deepa(who grins evilly), Victor(who frowns with cane in hand), Zorvus(who smirks while looking ahead) and Koji(who smirks with arms crossed over chest). It next shows all members assembled in an alley, with Jigen taking the lead on a stair, with a hand on the side of his head.
As the song heats up, we cut to the destroyed ruins of Japan, showing the entirety of Class 1-A dashing at high speed to engage the members of Kara, splitting up into different fights: Boro fighting off Tenya, Shikadai, and Fumikage before delivering a punch to the dark shadow, a kick to Fumikage, another to Shikadai, and an uppercut to Tenya's chin, knocking his helmet and glasses off. Delta taking on the 1-A girls, mainly 5: She swiftly smacks Momo via electric whip, side-steps a purple aura fist from Sumire and elbows here on the side, then grabs Tsuyu by her frog tongue(the latter tried to restrain the android but failed) and violently throws her into Ochaco(who tried to use her quirk to get a touch in but failed), and then Sarada jumps to try to get a strike in, but ends up repelled by the electric whip and punched in the face, knocking her glasses off. We then switch to Code doing a flip-kick to knock the hardened Eijiro to the ground, dodging snake-strikes from Mitsuki and palms him in the gut before dodging an Ice wave from Shoto, including his fire, before closing the distance and punches him in the chest that sends him flying, he then dodged an explosion from Katsuki, who proceeds to take him on. It next shows Koji engaging in close combat with Boruto, who manages to keep up and avoid his inflamed fists before jumping out the away as Izuku lunges at Koji with a smash, who avoids it at the last minute.
When the smoke clears, the two boys look around and are shocked to see their classmates defeated and unconscious around the battlefield. This causes Izuku to widen/grit his teeth in anger with surging red lines through his body while Boruto yells out in a fit of rage, activating his Karma throughout the right side of his body.
Next shows them fighting the 4 Kara inners, attacking nonstop. A combined attack is launched by Koji and Delta, and as it was about to land, Kawaki jumps into the fray and absorbs the attack, grimacing and revealing his own Karma seal. Surprised by this entry, Katsuki also joins the three, with them having no intention of giving up even while battered.
With the four of them united, they combat against the 4 inners. During this, Kawaki uses a red blast from his Karma, Bakugo uses his gauntlets to form a blast in the same manner respectively, Izuku throws his right fist forward, creating a massive shockwave that's on the level of his mentor while Boruto comes in through the smoke in mid-air and uses a gigantic Rasengan as the final blow. All 4 attacks create a huge explosion in the ruins of Japan, with the large sphere being enough to reach outside of earth.
Last panels show the smoke clearing and them being the only ones left, they're exhausted from fighting and look up at the sunset as it shines down on them and a crow flows by the three, including Kawaki, their new ally, before the song closes.
Chapter 79: On the Run
As the streets of Osaka city are crowded with civilians walking by, several of them stop by a food stand-tent to eat some fresh-cooked meat on a stick.
"So delicious!" One comments.
"They make the best meat around here!" Another comments.
"You said it!" The third agree whiling munching.
Observing from a corner, Kawaki sees some meat hung up on the tent-stand, mumbling, "I want to steal one so badly and eat it..." He admits, but also knows, "But those scumbag heroes are nearby..." He notices some patroling, walking by, and near the meat-tent, "I can't draw any attention right now...Shit!" He curses, but then thinks of an idea, "Unless... now that I think about it, the heroes in this city have no clue about me and won't try to stop me, unlike the ones back at that lab." He refers to the Pros/Interns he fought off, "So it's safe to say I can easily blend into the crowd without having to cause a scene... for now."
He decides to go with this approach, putting his hands in his pockets as a way of being causal, stepping out of the corner, walking on the sidewalk and into the crowd.
"..." Kawaki grimaces, gazing his eyes around to see that no one suspects him at all, "Seems to be working... good." He adds, "Now to go somewhere with food to steal... and where there's no heroes around."
He walks around for a couple minutes until he does turn to a corner with not much people around, "Alright. Now all that's left is to-"
"*Pant*Pant*Pant*Pant*!"
"?" He hears panting noses coming from the alleyway.
They get louder in drawing closer, and running out in full view is a little girl with bluish, messy off-white hair that's parted in the middle of her forehead, with red eyes, and a small brown horn out the right side of her forehead. She wears a plain, short-sleeved dress, which is a dirty, pale tan color. Bandages are wrapped around both her arms and legs, stopping at her wrists and ankles.
She bumps into Kawaki's leg without noticing, "Ah!" She falls backwards to the ground.
"Hey. Watch where you're going, brat." Kawaki states bluntly.
"U-Uh..." The girl shakes with widen eyes as she gazes up at the half blonde.
"You've got nowhere to go, Eri!"
She shakes in fright and turns to the Shie Hassakei masked henchmen that's been chasing her.
"Huh?" Kawaki narrows a brow in not know what's going on her.
"It's over for you, now be a good girl and come back to the lab!" He said, grinning under his beak mask, causing Eri to sweat in and crawl back further in not wanting to comply.
"..." Kawaki sees that both her arms and legs are covered in bandages, as well as her being bare-footed, which starts giving him some suspicions. While he's thinking, she quickly gets up and runs over to him, latching onto his blue vest, "H-Hey!" He snaps out of his thoughts in gazing down at her.
"Please... help me...!" She begs, with tears in her eyes and in fear, tightening her grip on his vest in not wanting to let go.
By now, Kawaki would have told her to go away, but sees that she's really frightened of the masked guy... so he gazes at the white coat individual and asks, "Hey. What are you gonna do with her?"
"Huh? I'm going to teach her a lesson and beat some manners into her before taking her back tk the lab." The beak-masked subordinate replies.
"Teach her a lesson... you say?" Kawaki glares upon hearing that, seeing that he plans to her abuse her before taking her away, and decides to not stand for it.
"That's right, so take a hike so I can get to-!" Before the masked subordinate finishes.
"Don't mess around!" Kawaki encases his right fist in wood, pushing Eri away and punches the building wall that's close to the masked henchman.
"Agh?!" The guy staggers in shock, tripping backwards, "Y-You monster!" He exclaims in stammer.
"Get your ass out of here... or your dead." Kawaki threatens, causing the masked henchen to dash off in fright.
Receding his wood armor, Kawaki proceeds to walk on ahead, but quickly lashes onto him. "Look kid, I've already scared him off, so beat it and run to someone else!" He says in annoyance.
"T-Take me with you... I beg you..!" Eri mumbles, scared.
"That's not happening." He refuses.
"Please!" She tears up, " If they come back... I won't... know what to do...I don't want to go back there...!"
Kawaki finds her whining annoying... but can see that she's desperate and judging by the bandages on her arms and legs, confirming she's been abused at where she's from, which starts to remind Kawaki of the absuement he recieved from Jigen when he was little.
"Tch..." He scoffs in finding this a pain and makes up his find, "Alright, stop your damn whining already! I'll take you," He replies, "But not for too long... It's already been one problem after another the past few hours and I can't seem to catch a break."
"T-Thank you..." Eri mumbles, whiping her tears.
"Whatever. Let's just go." He puts his hands in pockets and proceeds, with Eri walking by him and putting her right hand on his blue vest to stay close, which Kawaki was gonna tell her to let go... but decides to deal with it as much as he hates it.
League's Bar:
"That negotiation didn't go as you planned, did it?" Giran asks, smoking a cigarette.
"Shut up." Shigraki grumbles, with his right shoulder bandaged from Kawaki's ealier attack, "First my left shoulder from the Hero Killer... and now my right shoulder from that kid... I keep getting new injuries every time I try to recruit these guys...!"
"What should we do now? The boy no longer doesn't seem to be in Kamino." Kurogiri said, "It's possible he could have taken the train to another city."
"If that's the case then we're going after him." Tomura decides, "It'd be bad if that power was used by someone else, like the heroes and Kara... so we'll recapture him and force him to work with us if necessary." He adds, "Master, I'll need some Nomus."
"Well said, Tomura." The master approves via voice-only labtop, "For this one, I'll make an exception and give you 4 Nomus." He decides, "You won't be the only ones looking for the boy."
"That's right... there are the heroes and this Kara." Kurogiri said in realization, "They would be troublesome to deal with in the pursuit."
"If we catch the kid first, then that won't be the case." Tomura says otherwise, "Let's do this already."
"Just a minute." Giran chimes in, "If you need more numbers to track this kid, I've already made contact with some criminals who are interested in joining the League."
"And you waited until now to mention this?" Tomura grumbles.
"I was gonna do it before until that kid suddenly held me at knife point." Giran replies in a sigh, "Man... he's seriously aggressive around the edges."
"Then if you could, go and contact those villains to lend us a hand?" Kurogiri asks.
"You got it." Giran smokes a cigar and takes out his phone.
"This time, he won't get away..." Tomura sneers, vowing to recruit Kawaki by force if that happens.
Osaka City (6:45pm):
Seeing a small restaurant not too far ahead and not seeing any heroes in this part of the area, "Finally..." Kawaki grumbles in relief, "Laying low here for awhile will give me time to recharge my stamina, and heal my previous injuries."
"..." Eri only keeps a startled expression on her as she stays close.
When they reach and go inside the "Classic Meat" diner, "Good day, welcome to the classic meat diner." The female waiter greets the two at the front desk.
"Yeah yeah, skip the greetings." Kawaki states bluntly, "Find us somewhere to sit."
"Uh... okay? For how many?" She asks.
"Huh?" He narrows a brow.
"Like... how many for one table?" She explains.
Eri comes from behind him, which he replies, "Two... for me and my kid sister here." Kawaki makes up from his head on that last part.
"Right away... follow me." The waiter voices, finding this moment awkward and finding the bandages on Eri being sus as well.
She guides them to a clear table, which Kawaki sits down and places Eri next to him, "Can I get you two any drinks?" The female waiter asks.
"Water." Kawaki replies, "Her too. And make it fast."
"O-Okay." The waiter replies and gets to it.
"What's this?" The half-blonde takes the time to see what the menu is, "Hm..." He sees different types of dish meals, one in particular that catches his eye is the rice/mini-meat bowl, "This one looks good."
He gazes down to Eri, who eyes something in the dessert portion of the menu, "What are you staring at?"
"..." The girl only gazes at the item on the menu.
Kawaki finds her quietiness awkward, and tries guessing what she wants, pointing, "The sugar apple?" He asks, which she nods simply.
The waiter comes back with their water (a kiddies cup with a straw for Eri and a glass cup for the half-blonde), "Are you ready to order as well?" She asks.
"By order, you mean the food, right?" Kawaki asks, which she confirms, "Alright, well it's these two." He points.
"The rice-multi meat bowl and the candy apply?" She asks.
"Make it two of them each, and be quick." He demands.
"Right away..." She puts the order down and gets to it, also finding his attitude pretty rude.
Eri has a hard time reaching for her kiddie cup, which the teen simply pasts it to her, before she sips through straw. He also simply gazes around the diner, where new and old customers come and go, "So far, no trouble... excellent." He inwardly voices before sipping his glass of water.
After a 15 minute wait:
"Your meal is served." The female waiter comes back with two rice-multi meat bowls and two candy apples, "Please enjoy."
"Finally." Kawaki gumbles before the waiter leaves,"Your sugar apples kid." He slides over the plate of candy apples on stick to Eri.
"Oh..." Eri stares in awe at the shape of thr sugar apple.
The teen takes his chopsticks to pick up a meat slice, before taking a bite, while at the same Eri takes a bite of the apple.
After they chew, they're in awe at the taste, "S-So good...!" Kawaki widens in suprise, while Eri blushes in surprise, which is when the former begins eating the rice/meat at almost a fast pace.
"What's with him?" One costumer comments in a stare.
"He looks like he has eaten in days..." Another sweat-drops.
Kara's hideout:
In the main room, "The League of Villains, you say?" Jigen asks, "And you're telling me they took Kawaki?"
"That's right!" Delta replies, angry, "One of them has a quirk that teleports them to a different location that isn't in Konoha's borders." She then punches the wall, "I knew I should have retreived Kawaki at that moment, instead of listening to that damned Koji!"
"And where is Koji kashin right now?" Jigen asks.
"He's trying to find out the Leagues location." She replies, "Tch, let's see how far that gets him against someone with a teleporation quirk."
"I'm more so surprised to the fact that Koji even allowed the heroes to take Kawaki back to that facility you mentioned." Code said, also in the main room, along with Zorvus, Boro and Deepa.
"The way he thinks sometimes is either very odd or simply confusing." Zorvus said.
"One thing that's not confusing, is the fact that the league is trying to recruit the Vessel to their weak little crew." Deepa states, smirking in amusment, "Heh, now that, I gotta see."
"Ha! Only if it plays out that way, which I highly doubt it will," Boro laughs.
"..." Jigen gives him a glare.
"My bad, that wasn't serious." Boro assures.
"Anyway, this means all of us Inners are gonna have to take action." Code smirks, "It's clear that Koji can't track down the league's hideout on his own, and it'll go smoother with everyone on board."
"In addition, it's best to inform all Outers at different standpoints to be on the lookout for our lost Vessel." Zorvus adds.
"Finally time to let loose instead of sitting here." Deepa said, "How about it, Jigen?"
"..." The leader gazes before replying, "I'll allowed it." He confirms, "Search at every city or border in Japan and kill anyone who interferes, whether it's a hero or villain."
"Aye." Deepa salutes saracastically.
"Done." Zorvus nods.
"This should have been the case from the start." Boro grins, "I definitely would have done better than Koji or Delta here."
"Huh? Do you wanna die!" She glares him down.
"As if you could kill me!" Boro then laughs before teleporting out via transmission.
"For all we know, I might end up retieving Kawaki first." Code smirks, before heading out with his cloak on.
"As if." Deepa states otherwise, transmissioning out.
"The hunt begins." Zorvus phrases before doing the same.
"This time, it's 24/7 when I spot those league bastards, and Kawaki." Delta sneers.
"I'm counting on you all." Jigen simply states, before she nods and heads out.
Now alone, Jigen grits his teeth in anger, "The League of Villains should have stated in their place." He sneers inwardly.
Osaka diner:
Kawaki finishes his two bowls of rice/multi meat, but orders a 3rd one and finishes that one to be completed satisfied, "That portion of food should do it." He sets down his chopssticks and leans back in his seat, before gazing to Eri and sees that she's finished two of her candy apples, "Looks like you finished too." He said, which she nods quietly.
The female waiter comes by and checks, "Was everything good?" She asks, which Kawaki doesn't answer and ignores, only having his eyes closed with hands in pockets, "Uh..." She trails, "Well. If you're done with everything, here's the bill of payment." She sets the tab on the table.
"Hm?" Kawaki picks up the sheet and sees that the stuff he ordered is forty-bucks, "Unfortunately, I have no money on me right now." He shrugs, ripping the pay-paper to streds.
"H-Huh?!" She's shocked, almost dramatically.
"So you're outta luck." Kawaki states straightforwardly, "Guess that means we're free to go."
"Not so fast." A customer comes over, with a glare, "That's not how things work here. You're not gonna leave with paying, kid." He argues.
"Didn't you here me a few seconds ago? If I ain't got the money then I don't have to pay jack, so buzz off, asshole." Kawaki grimaces and doesn't care.
"Why you...!" The man tightens his fist, "I've seen how you've been treating the waiter, and I'm fed up." He adds, mad, "Someone needs to teach you some manners when it comes to how you speak to grownups!"
"U-Uh..." Eri gets a little startled on where this going.
"Oh yeah?" Kawaki gets up, meeting him at eye-level, "Give it your best shot, you old shithead." He taunts.
This ticks the man off and he swings a punch, only for the half-blonde to block it easily via left arm before landing a right-hook to his gut and then a kick to his face, making the random man grunt and sent flying into the table of two other customers, making their food spill on the floor with a crashes table.
"Hey! What was that for?!" The customer yells at the one that Kawaki punched and proceeds to fight him upon standing up.
"You need to watch it!" Another customer comes up to Kawaki, only for the teen shove him into someone else, which that person throws a punch at the one he just pushed, only to be dodged and struck back.
In turn, this causes other customers around to randomly fight each other, signaling a full-on brawl in the diner. Multiple kicks/punches are thrown, a few get smashed into a table or to a wall, food is thrown, and several of them even use their quirks, which makes things worse.
"This has now gone out of control!" 1 Male waiter exclaims in sweat.
"Call the police and a couple pros!" The female waiter too.
"One thing we can't forget, it's that kid who started this!" 2 Male waiter points to Kawaki, who fights off a few random individuals who came at him.
After punching who of them into a table, "No use in sticking around here anymore, we're out!" He quickly grabs Eri, holding her under his right arm and zooms out the diner, as the full-brawl continues.
"Hey! He even left without paying!" A waiter exclaims before getting bumped by a customer that flew into him.
Now on a different side of the street and stumbling upon an abandoned hotel, "This spot should be good to rest up." Kawaki eyes as they walk pass the 'Keep out' sign and walk inside, finding an empty room that looks to be real dirty, with the bed matress looking messy, "Ugh... this place has clearly seen better days." He comments and deals with the setting anyway.
Even though it's squeaky, he lies down on the matress in resting position, "?" He notices Eri standing there without knowing whay to do, "You can sleep on that giant pillow over there." He points, "You're small enough to nap on that."
"Um... okay..." Eri nods, before finding the courage to asks, "D-Do you have a... name?" She stammers shyly.
"Huh?" He narrows a brow, "Why do you wanna know? It's not like it's important, or any of your business." He says a little bluntly, which gives Eri a sad look.
After gazing for several seconds, he sighs and tells her, "It's Kawaki... that's the name."
"Kawaki..." She mutters in repeat.
"The mask guy that was chasing you... he called you Eri, right?" He recalls, which she nods in confirmation at her name, "Well, now that we're done introducing ourselves, get some sleep." He said, "We're leaving first thing in the morning." He adds before turning the other way on matress.
While he does, Eri decides to push the big pillow near the matress he's laying on and lies down to sleep, which he notices, but decides not to pay it any mind, "Hmm... I don't plan on keeping her with me the whole way, so I'll just drop her off to the next city since that bird-mask guy from earlier scared her to a big degree." He decides before shutting off those thoughts and having some shut-eye.
Ending 7 "Datte Atashi no Hiro" by LiSA
Opens up in the morning skies above Coruscant as it changes to shots of the training grounds, highways, and speeders flying through the air.
We then see Padawan Izuku leave his coordinates and happily running off to training, but ends up tripping/falling on his face, upon looking up, he sees fellow Padawan Boruto extending a hand to him with a grin, with Padawans Ochaco, Tenya, and Sumire being there too. Izuku smiles brightly as his blonde friend helps him up by hand.
Next shoots to Shoto in his coordinates, in a sitting position and as closes as he meditates near his opened window. After being done, he opens the door to see the MC's and his fellow padawans, which makes him crack a smile. As they walk in the hallways, they greet Sarada, who waves, and Mitsuki, who smiles casually, both Padawans as well. The group walk by the training grounds to see Katsuki cutting down a couple trees with his lightsaber in fury. When they call out in telling that it's time for training session with Jedi Master Aizawa, the hothead exclaims at them dramatically in not needing it.
This is when the sky goes dark/overcast and all Padawans look upward to see Kara Droids levitating above them, forcing the teens to get in battle positions, igniting their green Lightsabers with serious grimaces. We cut to the young Padawans taking on multiple Kara Droids: Uzumaki slicing one down by it's head and Midoriya slicing one in the middle. As it appears though they're surrounded, they receive backup from the rest of their fellow Padawans (Eijiro, Shikadai, Tsuyu, Iwabe, and everyone else in the class with their green lightsabers ignited). The MC's grin/smile with a nod before they continue the fight with increased numbers.
As the fight continues in the destroyed field, everyone starts to tire down, and another unit of Kara droids approach, the renegade Sith apprentice: Kawaki, ignites his red Lightsaber and uses force-lightning to electrocute half of them, surprising the teen Jedi's at his arrival. He grimaces at the Padawans, but decides to fight in lending a hand.
With this extra amount of strength from a new ally, the group stands united and perseveres in dealing with the rest of the Kara droids: Kawaki force-crushes two, Bakugo slashes one with a battle cry, Sarada and Mitsuki doing a combined slash, and Shoto force-pushing one into the other. With the droids dealt with, they face the last one, an enormous Kara Mega-Droid towering over them.
Despite how bruised, battered, and tired they are, the united front aren't ones to give up and the MC's charge before doing a Jedi high-jump in meeting the foe head-on. Everyone roots for the duo to finish this fight, including Bakugo(who grins) and Kawaki(who grimaces with wide eyes). Uzumaki's lightsaber changes to dark-blue while Midoriya's changes to light-blue, and with the final blow, they slash the enormous Mega-droid in half, defeating it and ending the battle.
It goes white as it was the pages read in a 1-A textbook before the song closes.
Now morning:
After waking up to see the sun come out through the window, "Alright, time to go." He says, waking up Eri, who rubs her eyes.
After they leave the abandoned hotel, they're unaware that they're being spotted by one of the Shie Hsassaeki underlings that was startled off yesterday, "I've found them, boss..." He answers with the phone up to his hood, "The boy that I told you about yesterday has Eri."
"You're only to tail them for now, until I give the word." Overhaul states through the phone.
"Yes sir." The underling hangs up in comply and proceeds in trying to stay out of sight in following the two into the Osaka streets.
When they blend into the crowd, the big screen city TV comes on and the newslady announces:
"Early last night, a full-on-brawl happened at the Osaka Classic Meat diner that resulted in a few being injuries and several using there quirks to cause mass damage. Luckily, the police and a couple pro heroes manages to put a stop to the fight and diner is being repaired as we speak." She asks the manager of the diner, "Any comment on how you felt about the fight happening so sudden in your own diner?"
"It was a bit shocking, with all the quirks that were being used to harm one another, but overall, I'm glad that the Pros and cops put an end to it." The manager replies.
"Do you know who exactly started the fight last night?" She asks.
"One of my employees stated that some kid, who's half blonde with a blue vest, started the commotion and refused to pay for his meal, they even said he left while have a little girl with him." He explains, "Luckily we managed to catch a video of the brawl, but man... these days, people thing they can go without paying, it's ridiculous."
"I see. Well thanks for sharing your thoughts Mr. Manager." She nods before saying this all around, "Here's thevideo of how the brawl broke out."
In Video: It shows every individual fighting it out in the diner, fists and kicks coliding and some being thrown across the room and impacted into a wall, not to mention quirks being used. It then zooms into Kawaki, using simple close combat to fight those that come at him, ending with a push that sends someone flying into a wall."
"Woo! Spooky stuff from this kid," The newswomen shivers dramatically, "But if anyone runs into him, call the police immediately as he could be armed, and possibly dangerous." She adds, "We'll keep you all updated for any more intensive news." She finishes in final before closing out.
Seeing this while in the crowd, "Tch... those snickers." Kawaki scoffs, and to make matters worse, the people around him and Eri start to stumble back in realizing that the half-blonde in front of them is the one that was in the video.
"There!"
He turns to see a Pro hero burst through the crowd, "You're the one who started that fight at the diner last night." The pro said.
Another random pro gets through the crowd as well, "Everyone clear out, this could get messy!"
See the two random pros surround them, "Fine..." Kawaki gets his wooden arm ready, "If you want to rumble, them bring it on assholes!" He challenges.
"We'll restrain you here and now!" The 1st random pro jumps at him, but ends up getting grabbed by the wooden hand and thrown into the 2nd random pro, "Gugh!" They exclaim upon collision.
"Weak." Kawaki insults before grabbing Eri and dashing pass the surprised crowd.
"He's getting away...!" The 1st pro groans in recovering.
"Right, we gotta get him...!" The 2nd one too.
Ryukan lab:
After the two pros/interns searched the rest of yesterday and the others now at the lab, "So that's the situation, huh." Gran torino said as he Jeanist, Edgeshot, and Endeavor are at the Ryukan lab, "The boy that you guys temporarily had in custody is the one that Kara is looking for."
"From all the clue gathering on our end, we couldn't find anything about Kara, but luckily, Phantomaye is still finding some answers on his own." Jeanist said, "On the other hand, good job on finding Kara's objective."
"Thanks, but we still messed up and let him get away..." Izuku voices in a little shame.
"It's fine. The league of villains being involved is something that we never would have expected." Edgeshot gets it, "All we have to right now, is track down the boy."
"That goes without saying." Komago agrees.
"Hey guys, you may want to take a look at this." Akira calls them all over and seeing the news on TV, about the Osaka diner brawl and Kawaki causing the commotion.
After hearing the news, "So he's somewhere in Osaka!" Boruto says in surprise.
"This means he managed to get away from the League." Shoto gets it, also surrpised.
"That saves us from having to find their hideout then." Endeavor said, walking off after stating this, "So let's spread out to the cities that closest to Osaka and capture him."
"Hold on, why the other cities? He's only in Osaka." Sarada says.
"According to the news report, that was only yesterday, hence last night." Katasuke explains.
"For all we know, he could be in another city as we speak, which is why we'll have to hurry and catch before he goes any further." Jeanist said.
"And this time, I'll kick his ass." Katsuki sneers, with cackling mini-explosives.
"Not that type of mission, Bakugo." Tenya said.
"It's setted then, we'll fan out with our interns to strengthen the search." Manual said.
"We'll have to find him before Kara or even the League does." Mitsuki adds, which they totally agree.
"I'll contact all the Pros that are around the area of Osaka." Edgeshot said, using his phone to do so in advance.
"And since Phantom isn't here, Uzumaki, you're with us." Torino said, refering to him and Izuku.
"Then you'll be with me and Bakugo, Uchiha." Jeanist said.
The two nod in understanding before Boruto pounds his fists together, "Let's get that bastard behind bars." He's determined, along with the rest.
Meanwhile, the Kara Inners have seen the news from their city locations and individual, they see this as an opportunity to catch the Vessel themselves, in a race-like manners.
"So that's where he is." Boro comments from his location.
"Osaka, eh?" Zorvus narrows a brow from his.
"So he actually got away from the League? Imprrssive I guess..." Code admits in a way.
"This time, I'll catch him." Delta swears it.
"Heheheh, the hunt begins." Deepa licks his lips sarcastically.
"..." Koji only gazes as the wind blows through his cloak at his location, "Things will be chaotic from here I predict."
Meanwhile, Giran sends out a message to all of the criminals that have interest in joining the League: "A task from the leader of the League of Villains. If you're looking to join the League, then you'll first have to track down and capture a kid with half-blonde hair and a blue vest, the one who started a brawl at the diner of Osaka city. If you do that, you'll get a guaranteed spot in the League."
The villains seeing this (The schoolgirl, the man with burnt scare down to neck, the large man with a hockey mask, the black-haired girl with orangehead band, and the man with the bandaged blade) decide to think of this as a side-quest and go after Kawaki themselves as well.
"Looks like Shigaraki has caught on to someone interesting." Adult Shin comments from where he is, with Teen Shin.
Teleporting on the rooftop of a random building, "Now... let's track him down." Tomura voices, along with Kurogiri and the heads of a few nomu sticking out of the warp portal.
Meanwhile, Kawaki easily knocks out a couple of thugs and steals one of their cloaks to keep himself in disguise. He gets one for Eri too and cuts the second cloak to a small size.
"Now we're set and ready to go." Kawaki comments, before they fit into the Osaka crowd with the cloak hoods over their heads, "With that portion of food and a night's rest, I'm fully regarcharged." He said inwardly, having been long rengerated, "Whether you're someone from Kara, the Heroes, or even those dumb bricks from the League... just know that every single one of you assholes are going down!" He declares while on the move.
Happy New Year!
And thus, the Heroes, Villains, and Kara, launch a massive search for Kawaki, scouring every part of the Japan cities close to Osaka.
Stay tuned for what happens next as the Kawaki Pursuit arc begins!
