Hi, everyone! Welcome to Book II of the Mizuki series. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 3

Mizuki walked happily next to her brother, humming softly with a smile as they entered the school grounds. She had been in a ridiculously good mood ever since the day before and it was starting to work on his nerves.

"Would you stop that already? It's damn annoying having your stupid giddy emotions shoved in my chest!" The male growled angrily, reaching his limit with the girl. Mizuki gave him a gaze filled with indifference.

"Oh hush. You're only jealous that your dear sister is in a good mood and as always, you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Would it kill you to not scowl for five minutes?" Mizuki asked and received a glare.

She let out a breath and crossed her arms over her chest. "Fine, I'll calm down… I can't help being ecstatic after my sunset dress came out perfect! The only thing I have to finish up with is the male outfit," she said, her thoughts already swirling with new ideas.

Katsuki huffed. "Like anyone would wear that." She gave him a cold stare and he rolled his eyes. "Don't overreact. Men don't like to wear colourful, sunset tinted clothing. It's that's simple," he stated and Mizuki rolled her eyes.

"I know that already, thank you, Mister I-am-in-love-with-black. I'm not planning on making an entire outfit like that. Since the sunset dress is semi-formal, I'll probably design a matching suit and only make the tie a sunset hue," Mizuki said and then sighed.

"Unfortunately, I'm going to have to use a dummy for the measurements since my brother would hate to, one, become my personal model even though he has the skin of a goddess and two, because he hates wearing ties," Mizuki pointed out and he scoffed.

"Why don't you ask your boyfriend?" Katsuki asked, Mizuki blushed involuntarily at his words and frowned deeply. Eijiro modelling for her… The images she received in her mind only made her face redden more and her heart nearly jumped out of her chest.

Katsuki was oblivious to his sister's reaction, eyes resting in front of him. "I don't have time for stuff like that. Moreover, you'll only be wasting material since I'll never wear it," Katsuki said and glanced at his sister, blinking when he saw steam coming out from her ears.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

Mizuki flinched as she came out of her thoughts, her face completely flushed and her heart hammering in her ears. He watched as her facial expression started to turn and expected her to give him a punch of his life, only to have her avert her eyes.

"Stupid, Brother!" She said and rushed off, the male left in utter dumbstruck. He didn't have a clue what had happened or what she was embarrassed about. He could vaguely feel her emotions through their connection, but it wasn't enough to tell him what was going on.

Forget it! Forget it! Don't ever think about it! Mizuki repeatedly told herself as she tried to rid the thoughts of the handsome images of the redhead, modelling for her. The thought of him wearing the clothing she made… It was too much for her to handle.

"Good morning, Mi-chan!" Izuku's voice was quick to bring her out of her raging thoughts as she slid open the door of the classroom. As always, his beaming smile was welcomed and she couldn't help but return it.

Izuku Midoriya

"Morning, Izu-kun. I see you're full of energy today. Did something good happen?" Mizuki asked, crimson eyes falling onto a familiar brown-haired female. She wondered when they were finally going to realize that they liked each other.

"Nothing in-""Morning, Mizuki-kun!" Iida came walking towards the duo, his obnoxious voice booming. "You seem well rested. I hope you're ready for this week! One can never be too prepared for anything!" He said and Mizuki's eye twitched. It was too early to deal with him.

Iida Tenya
Quik: Engine

"I don't think I'll ever be prepared to handle you, Four-Eyes. Not even if I devoted my whole life to it," Mizuki said with a smirk, Iida making a face filled with offense while Izuku sweat dropped. Her tongue was as sharp as always.

He was relieved to find that she was still the same old Mizuki. He still had All Might's words that rung at the back of his head and it worried him. He believed more than anyone that Mizuki would never involve herself with anything villainous.

Yet, knowing that she was a target of the League of Villains made him uncertain about her safety. She might not intentionally involve herself, but she was already part of something and he needed to make sure that she was safe.

"Hey, Earth to Izu-kun. Hello?" Mizuki waved her hand in front of the male's face and he snapped out of his thoughts. Mizuki frowned at him, raising an eyebrow. "Are you okay? You completely left reality there for a minute."

He blinked and then blushed, waving his hands frantically in front of his face. "I-I'm f-fine! I-I'm perfect! I-I was just thinking…um…" He needed to come up with an excuse and fast. "T-That your hair has been getting longer again!" He quickly said as he caught sight of the growing spikes.

"I offered to help her cut it, but she refused," Shoto's voice reached his ears as he came in front behind. Izuku blinked in surprise. Shoto offered to cut Mizuki's hair? That was unexpected. They seemed to have developed a peculiar friendship.

Shoto Todoroki

"And I told you that I won't even trust you with a paper scissor! You said that you've never done it before. Therefore, the answer is obviously no!" Mizuki told the male, poking him in his chest as he stoically stared at her.

"They've gotten close, haven't they?" Ochaco asked Iida and Izuku as she walked towards them, a small smile on her face. "I haven't seen Todoroki-kun at ease like that before." It was something strange for everyone to watch the emotionless teenager converse freely with the hot-headed female twin.

Ochaco Uraraka

Izuku looked at the duo and smiled. After everything that happened, it didn't surprise him. Mizuki's behaviour towards Iida had also changed for the better. She never realized it, but despite being crude and blunt, her compassionate side always had people wanting to be near her.

Katsuki entered the class as the green haired boy came out of his thoughts. He went to stutter a greeting but didn't even receive a glance from the male. The ash blonde teenager merely went to sit down at his desk, eyes narrowing at Shoto and Mizuki's communication.

"Ah! Morning!" Eijiro's voice was quick to catch their attention as he too walked on, Mizuki turning towards the male and Shoto joining Izuku's conversation. He caught sight of her and a dazzling, toothy grin broke loose on his face, briefly blinding the female.

Eijiro Kirishima
Quirk: Hardening

"Morning, Red. It's good to see you're on time. For a moment I thought you'd be the first victim to face Aizawa Sensei late," Mizuki teased the male, enjoying as he laughed. She savoured the fluttering in her chest and couldn't help the smile.

"That wouldn't be very manly at all! I also don't want to face his wrath…" Eijiro said, paling slightly as he thought about the male teacher. "Anyway, did you have a good night's rest? I slept like a baby!" Mizuki chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah, I was completely exhausted after finishing with my designing. I barely let my head touch my pillow and I was out," she said, putting down her bag as she came to her table. Eijiro put down his own bag, and blinked.

"Designing? What did you make?"

Mizuki glanced at him and smirked. "I had a half-finished product that I've been wanting to finish up for a while now and I finally did. It took some time but it was definitely worth it," she stated proudly as she thought about the sunset dress.

"A handmade designed outfit by Mizuki-chan? I want to see it!" Mina chimed in, Mizuki blinking as the female bounced excitingly. "Do you have a photo? Surely you took one of your final product!" She asked.

Mina Ashido
Quirk: Acid

"A Mizuki brand clothing. I'm curious to see how it looks after seeing those designs of yours," Jiro spoke up, Tsuyu also joining in. Mizuki was surprised to find them this curious and interested and smirked, pulling out her phone soon after.

"Well, since you want to know so badly. Here," Mizuki handed the phone over towards the trio of girls. It resulted in their eyes widening, Mina squealing and drawing more attention that what was needed. Everyone pushed at each other to want to see the image.

"This is…"
"You made this?"
"Wow…"

Mizuki could feel her cheeks warm up. It felt less uncomfortable to have them see the final product that her drawings but it still made her shift slightly. She wasn't used to showing something this personal for anyone outside her family and very close friends.

"Neh, neh, if you can make stuff like that, you can make other types of clothing, too right?" Kaminari asked, Mizuki slowly nodding and he grinned. "If you ever want to make something for males, I'll model for you! I always thought it would be super cool to be a model!"

"To pick up girls, right?" Jiro was quick to hit the nail on its head, not wasting a moment of hesitation to catch the male's true intentions. He wanted to retort, but already lost the argument the moment when she gave him a smug expression.

"I would like to offer my assistance as well," Momo spoke up, catching Mizuki by surprise. It was one of the last persons she expected. "You're very talented, Mizuki-san. I would love to be able to help you if you need anything."

Momo Yaoyorozu
Quirk: Creation

"Thanks. I appreciate it."

"Looks like you already have your own models lined up," Eijiro said as he handed Mizuki back her phone and she chuckled. She then recalled Katsuki's words and felt her face heat up. She could only hope that he didn't say anything stupid to confirm her brother's statement.

"Yeah, one step closer, right?! Anyway, we should probably take our seats, homeroom is about to start!" Mizuki told the male, giving everyone who was still standing a single gaze before they went to sit down.

Eijiro blinked at the girl's sudden strange behaviour and then chuckled at the cuteness of her shyness. She was shy when it came to her designing despite the fact that she had amazing talent. He was confident that she would go far with her skills.

The bell soon rang, Aizawa dragging himself into the room. His caterpillar sleeping bag was slung over his shoulder, everyone sweat dropping. They had known him for a while but it was still a peculiar sight.

Aizawa Shota
Hero Name: Eraser Head
Quirk: Erasure

"Morning. I hope that you're ready for what's to come. First thing's first, as you all know, it's almost time for summer vacation but, of course, it wouldn't make sense for you to rest for the whole month," Aizawa said, not wasting any time and had everyone swallow in anticipation.

"During summer vacation, we'll have a training camp in the woods," he said and the class went wild with excitement. Mizuki smirked. It sounded fun. She couldn't remember the last time she went to the woods with her brother, it had been when they were little kids.

"Let's test our courage!"
"Fireworks?"
"Hot Baths!" BOOM!

Mineta lay on the floor unresponsive after receiving the hit from Mizuki. "If we're out in nature, we will have to work under different conditions, right?" Momo said. Having a training camp meant that they were all given time to hopefully develop mentally and physically. Mizuki wondered what the worn-out male was plotting behind his scruffy expression.

Minoru Mineta
Quirk: Pop-off

"However." Tired eyes flashed red and silence overcame the room. "Those who don't pass the final exam before that will be in summer school hell," he said and Mizuki smirked. There wouldn't be any other way.

"Everyone, let's do our best!" Eijiro exclaimed, Kaminari backing him up. Mizuki chuckled, hearing her brother scoffing underneath his breath. He might think it was stupid but she could feel his own excitement build at the thought of training.

"Mizuki, I'll have you fetch the documentation later to hand out to the class. You each need to have everything filled and handed in as soon as possible," Aizawa said, the ash blonde female nodding in reply.

She had a feeling that she would have to take responsibility for her class and all the documentation that was to follow. She knew she had two deputy class representatives to help her out but didn't want to throw everything at them. After all, she did say she would be the best.

A training camp, huh? She looked down at her hand palms and smirked. It was the perfect opportunity for her to develop her new technique even further. It was probably going to be hell but it didn't bother her in the least.

All that stood in their way to go was the final exams. It was the least of her worries, but a part of her told her not to get too confident. After all, they never knew what the male had hidden up his sleeve. It was Aizawa they were talking about.

"Isn't this exciting? We're going to have a training camp together!" Eijiro said with a big gin plastered on his face. Mizuki smiling as she pulled out her books for the first period to start. His excitement was addictive and had Sero and Kaminari joining in.

Hanta Sero
Quirk: Tape

She caught sight of Izuku as he was shaken by Mineta who sat behind him, saying something perverted again. She gave the green haired male a look filled with sympathy and he gave her a look of appreciation.

"Nah, Mizuki, what do you think they're planning?" Sero asked the ash blonde as she pulled out a small case, crimson eyes raising an eyebrow at the question. "You're the class representative, right? Aizawa Sensei probably told you about everything."

Mizuki rolled her eyes, opening the case. "No, I'll probably be informed later on and even if he told me everything, I'll only share the information needed." She pulled out her peach framed reading glasses and put them on her eyes, gazing back at him.

"I can't trust idiots like you with unnecessary information," she finished, giving them a smirk. The atmosphere in the class changed, everyone silent as they stared at Mizuki. The change had them all quiet down.

"Y-You… What are you wearing?!" Kaminari exclaimed, pointing at the female in absolute shock, Sero next to him. Everyone was flabbergasted at the glasses that rested on her face, even her brother and Izuku.

Katsuki never expected her to actually wear her glasses. He assumed that she would wait for her contact lenses and never have to deal with the criticism she was receiving. He wondered what was going on in that head of hers.

Izuku was speechless as he looked at his childhood best friend who was oblivious to everyone's reactions. Mizuki never ever wore her designing/reading glasses in public. Even if it meant she had a bit of a sight problem.

"Y-You wear glasses? What happened?! Did you lose your contact lenses?!" It was too much for the boys. They couldn't take her seriously at the cute appearance she had with her peach framed glasses.

Shoto stared at the female, blinking in surprise. She had been very apparent that she didn't want anyone to know of her glasses. Strange, he found that he preferred it that it was something that he knew of more than the others. He frowned in confusion. Wait, what?

"Mizuki-chan! You look adorable! I didn't know you wear glasses?" Mina asked, eyes sparkling along with Ochaco. Mizuki had mentally prepared herself for the commentary and brushed passed it all, her face showing her impassiveness.

"They're only reading glasses and they're only temporary. Enjoy it while it lasts, because it'll be gone before you know it," Mizuki told them, catching sight of Eijiro's stare. He had been awfully quiet this entire time and she swallowed thickly under the gaze.

Did he like it? Did he hate it? Why was she even worried about something like that? She watched as he gave her a warm smile, her heart skipping a beat. He liked it? Really? Or was he merely-No, stop. She knew she needed to stop herself from thinking anything negative.

"It's kind of ironic since she calls Iida Four-Eyes… You two are now a matching pair!" Sero said with a laugh, Kaminari joining in and a vein palpitating out of Mizuki's head. She hardened her skin with Burnin torturing her for a week. She could do this without murdering anyone.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Are you listeners ready for class?!" Present Mic's loud and obnoxious voice reached their ears, the attention drawn towards the male as he danced into the room. As always, he was greeted with a refined silence from the class.

He stood in an awkward position but was indifferent towards how it looked. "We're going to kick this episode off with a pop quiz!" He said and had the class paling. He grinned, looking them over and then blinked.

"Hey, Mizuki-chan, since when did you go geek?" He asked, as he blinked a few times behind his own shades. The ash blonde female gritted her teeth, a vein popping out of her skin and her eyebrows twitching.

"It's only temporary…" She forced out, eyes twitching as her stomach filled with a mild rage. She could do this. She could go through this day without murdering anyone. That included both students and teachers.

Lunchtime…

Mizuki hummed softly as she finished up with making the last of her notes, lazily trailing her hand over the paper. Her eyes felt much better, the strain less with her glasses. She hated to admit it, but she enjoyed not having to squint once in a while.

She closed her book, recalling Aizawa's words about the forms she had to fetch for the class. She glanced at the clock. She was going to have to be fast to make sure that she still ate something. She didn't want to go through a day without a bit of fuel again.

"Ah, Man! I can't wait to chow down! I'm hungry!" Eijiro said as he stretched out his muscles, standing up from his desk. Mizuki was soon to follow, the redhead grinning at the ash blonde female who still wore her glasses.

"You can go ahead, Red, I'll meet you there. I have to go and get the paperwork for the training camp. You can keep my brother company until then," Mizuki winked, Katsuki growling in response as he overheard her.

"I'll accompany you, Mizuki-kun!" Iida called, his hand chopping in the air as he approached and Mizuki sweat dropped. "It is my duty to help you as deputy class representative to help you!" He shouted, Momo quick to want to add on the comment.

"That's not necessary!" Mizuki stopped the two, and they gave her confused expressions. She didn't want them breathing down her neck. "I'll tell you when I need your help. I promise, but um…Red already offered to help me," Mizuki said and they all blinked. Wasn't he on his way to lunch?

Eijiro blinked, uncertain about what happened but received the pleading look from Mizuki. "Ah, yeah! I offered to help her so that she won't go hungry again!" Eijiro countered, Katsuki rolling his eyes.

"Don't take your damn sweet time!" Katsuki snapped and walked out, hands pocketed. He wasn't planning on joining the duo and didn't want to be part of the uncomfortable situation when she asked the male to come over for dinner.

"Thank you, Kirishima-kun! I will be sure to be first to hold out my hand next time! Please let us know if you need any more assistance, Mizuki-kun!" Iida said and bowed, Mizuki feeling a tinge of guilt as she looked at her two supporters.

"Thanks, Four-Eyes, Momo. I'll let you know immediately," Mizuki said and gave them a reassuring smirk. They returned the smiles and walked off. She let out a breath, rubbing the back of her neck and looking at Eijiro.

"Sorry, Red. You can go ahead and get some lunch. I'll be with you as quick as possible," Mizuki told the male. She put him on the spot and forced him when he was hungry. However, he merely grinned and shook his head.

"Not at all. It wouldn't be very manly of me if I didn't help you," he said and Mizuki chuckled, walking alongside him. He stared at her from the corner of his eyes. It was a new appearance and the moment she put the glasses on, he felt a deep stab in his chest.

She looked astonishingly cute.

He wouldn't have imagined her to come forth as a bit nerdy and found that it fitted her better than he expected. This was the side he had seen on their first date as well. The completely at ease and calm girl.

"Red, you alright?" Mizuki asked, cocking her head to the side as she caught his stare. "Do I have something on my face?" Eijiro felt his cheeks heat up at the fact that she caught him and laughed sheepishly.

"I was only thinking if the training camp and didn't realize that I was staring deep in thought!" He said and Mizuki chuckled. She walked next to him, hands intertwined behind her back and content at the closeness between them.

"…why don't you invite him over for dinner…"

Mizuki recalled her mother's words and felt her heart beat speed up a little. She had tried to avoid it the entire day, hoping that she would find an excuse but nothing of the sorts. Maybe it was a sign that she actually needed to ask him…but wasn't it too fast for him to meet her parents?

Says the one who blurted out that he shouldn't make her wait too long… Ugh, Mizuki, get a grip! You're a Bakugou! Take three seconds of insane bravery. She told herself and took a deep breath as she calmed herself.

"Say, Red, do you have something on tonight?" Mizuki asked, the male glancing at her with a blank expression. She made sure not to make eye contact with him, knowing that he would blind her if she did.

"Tonight? Nah, I don't think so, why?"

Do it! "Would you…" Stop hesitating! "Would you mind if I invited you to dinner at my house?" Mizuki asked as hastily as she could, wanting to observe his expression with all her being but hesitated.

He was silent next to her and caused her to bite down on her lower lip. "You don't have to, if you don't want to. I understand it completely. It was my mother's crazy suggestion anyway. You know how they can be," she said and averted her eyes.

"I'd love to." His words had her eyes widening and shooting back towards him. He grinned brightly and had her cheeks flush in response to his own blush. "I'd like to meet your parents and see where the pro designer grew up," he said with a light laugh.

The sound was music to her ears. She found herself smiling and tugged some of her hair behind her ear. This idiot. He had no idea what he was doing to her, did he? He was quick to say things that made her body warm up.

Eijiro was freaking out inside himself, his heart thumping loudly in his chest. Mizuki had invited him over for dinner…to her house…to her parents' house… What was he going to wear? What was he going to say? He needed to make a good impression.

"You don't have to worry about being formal or anything like that. You can just be yourself, Red. After all, you're going to the house where Explodo-kill lives. You'll be the most normal between those four walls," Mizuki said with a chuckle that he matched.

She was so quick to ease his concerns, as if she was reading his thoughts. It was frightening and simultaneously, heart-warming. The walk next to her filled his heart and he couldn't think of any other place where he wanted to be.

They arrived at the teacher's office, the ash blonde female knocking as he stood on the side. Cementoss was the one to open the door, smiling when he saw the female. She didn't waste any time to get her duties done.

"Here you go." Mizuki blinked as a large stack was placed in her arms, Eijiro reaching out to stop it from falling over. "That's everything from the documents to the letters and lists. Thank you for coming to fetch them," Cementoss said and she smirked.

Ken Ishiyama
Hero Name: Cementoss
Quirk: Cement

"Of course. I'll be sure to hand these out as soon as possible. Thank you, Cementoss Sensei," she said as Eijiro took half of the pile, wanting to help her. He didn't receive any type of disapproval as they greeted the teacher and walked off.

"This is quite a stack. Do we really have to read through all these before the training camp? Isn't it a bit much?" He said, turning blue at the piles. Mizuki was already busy scanning over the top of her own pages, her smirk not fading as she glanced at him.

"This is a prestigious school, you know?" She snickered when she saw his shoulders fall in defeat. "Besides, after the villain attack, it's only natural that they would have this much documentation. They want to assure the parents and the students that they're assuring the safety of the students," she said, her expression serious.

Eijiro took in her words and nodded with a tense smile. "I guess. If you put it like that then it reminds me that the teachers all have unwanted tension still in the air," he said and Mizuki, not liking the expression he made frowned and then scoffed.

"No need to look so damn concerned, Red. When have they ever let us down?" Mizuki said and he observed her expression, eyes blazing brightly. "We have the best teachers who are all determined to make us the best heroes and protect us while doing it. I'm not worried in the least."

Of course, she wasn't. Eijiro could only think of a single incident where she had showed her concern and that was when she watched the fight against her brother and Izuku. She wasn't one to worry. Instead, she was the one who brought change and ease. That was why she was the perfect candidate for class representative.

He suddenly felt the urge to hold her hand, briefly wondering what came over him. He watched as she walked closely next to him, their skins almost brushing. He saw her look up at him, her crimson eyes nearly swallowing him up and barely managed to snap out of his haze.

"Nah, Mizuki, can you hold something for me?"

Mizuki gave him an unimpressed look. "Really, Red? If you couldn't carry those papers then why on earth did you take them? Geez, hand it over, Mister Softy," she scolded him and froze when he slipped his hand onto hers, face warming up.

"W-W-What are you doing?!" She exclaimed rather loudly, steam nearly coming out of her ears as her heart hammered in her chest. He meant his hand?! What was wrong with him doing such impulsive things?!

"I'm holding hands." His reply had her sweat drop. He was completely unfazed by it. He grinned like an idiot, happily carrying the papers with one arm. She could feel the warmth from his skin and bit the inside of her cheek.

"Great, like I needed to get anymore attracted to you, idiot," Mizuki muttered underneath her breath and averted her eyes. Eijiro heard her words and gave her a blank look, his big and innocent eyes staring.

"What?"

"Annoyed! Annoyed by you! That's what I said!" Mizuki quickly tried to cover her muttering and gave him a weak glare. "Are you getting deaf now too, Red? Am I going to have to spell things out for you?" She asked and Eijiro, knowing very well what she said, smirked.

He leaned in, Mizuki's body going rigid. "I think your glasses gave me one more reason to be attracted to you," he whispered softly, the heat of his breath making a shiver run down her spine and sparks involuntarily appeared on her skin.

He enjoyed watching her flushed and shy state. He gently pulled her along, her blush and embarrassment leaving her speechless. His grip tightened on her hand and at that moment he was reminded of one thing once again.

She was more than enough for him.
