Hi, everyone! Welcome to Book II of the Mizuki series. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 4

She was nervous.

It was absurd, honestly, yet she couldn't help it. She was still new to the whole situation of liking someone. She grew accustomed to the thought and enjoyed the two dates they went on, each one leaving her happily surprised.

He was boisterous and outgoing, always bringing a smile to her face. His kind-hearted side always pulled her along and she wondered how on earth did such a male crawl into her chest, leaving her with a bunch of new emotions. And now, he was going to meet her parents.

Mizuki shook her head and slipped on a long sleeve over-top. The grey colour complimented the plain black shirt she wore underneath. It reached her long black pants, the cut showing off her well-built legs until it reached her ankle grey boots.

She didn't want to go all out but still wanted to put effort into her outfit. She went to her hair, frowning slightly. The bangs had grown out more and was hanging slightly down her shoulders, spiking in all directions.

She held the hair in motion to see how it would look in a ponytail and then shook her head in disapproval. It was at that awkward length where it couldn't go up but didn't gain her approval to hang loose either.

She clicked her tongue in irritancy and turned away from the mirror. She heard her phone go off, crimson eyes snapping and hand snatching the device away from the cupboard. She blinked at the messages and then sighed in relief. It was only her friends.

"Good luck with your first meeting! Can't wait to hear everything!" – KawaiiRin
"If he doesn't run away from your crazy family, he's the one. Good luck." – BoysAreLifeAkira

Mizuki sweat dropped at the last message. She could always count on Rin to make her feel excited while Akira had a way of making her nerves worse. She was starting to regret that she invited him over.

Stop stressing already! Katsuki's voice rang in her head, crimson eyes widening as he stormed inside the room without knocking. He had a deep frown plastered on his lips, eyes twitching as he scowled at his sister.

"Hey! Don't barge in like that! I could've been naked, you know? Also, can you not invade my personal thoughts like that?" Mizuki asked the male, her own frown forming. He scoffed, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he leaned in the doorway.

"Then stop washing me with your annoying emotions already! You've been going on like this ever since we got home. It's driving me insane!" He told her, a vein popping out from underneath his skin and Mizuki looked away.

"Sorry."

He felt a pang in his chest and let out a sigh. "Stop overthinking shit. Weird Hair would've run away with his tail tucked between his legs long ago, but he didn't. For some insane reason, he likes you and once he sticks to someone, the little shit won't come off. You should know that better than anything," Katsuki said.

Mizuki stared at her brother with wide eyes. His words were sincere and his crimson orbs were calm and collected as he looked at her. He was right. This was Eijiro they were talking about. Why was she doubting everything?

This was the male who burst through everything head-first. He didn't let anything back him down. No blows or words got him down as he always laughed through it all. She knew there was a deeper side to him where he doubted in himself, yet he was constantly trying to become the best chivalrous hero there ever was.

"Katsuki." The ash blonde twin raised an eyebrow and then yelped when his sister pulled him in a tight embrace. "Thanks for being the best brother ever!" She told him with a big grin, the male blushing.

"G-Get off me, idiot! Did you drink something weird?!" He shouted at her, trying to push her off but not with enough strength. He briefly enjoyed the warmth of her hug and savoured the feeling of completeness.

"You're too tsundere, Little Brother," Mizuki told him, breaking the embrace and gave him a wink. "If you're going to become number one then you should get used to women throwing themselves at you."

Katsuki made a face of disgust. "Like hell I'll need that kind of attention and praises." He turned around and walked away, Mizuki snickering. He smiled softly as he thought of his sister and pocketed his hands.

All praises I ever need if yours, stupid. He made sure to keep his thoughts to himself, a doorbell ringing in his ears. He blinked, glancing back when he heard something fall in Mizuki's room and the girl stumbling out.

He paled slightly, his sister's dork behaviour amusing him. She was trying to be hasty and instead of wearing a nervous expression, he caught sight of the excitement. She was a completely lost cause and there was no hope left for her.

He was nervous.

It was absurd, honestly, yet he couldn't help it. He was going to meet her parents for the first time and it had his swallow thickly. It was all a first for him. He had concentrated on becoming stronger, better and braver during his younger days.

He never thought of anything romantic…until he met her. He still didn't know what it was, but the instant they made eye contact, he was drawn towards her. She was brave, strong willed and compassionate. At the same time, she was kind, beautiful and warm-hearted.

He wanted to know more about her, talk to her and become her friend. That was the plan until he found that he liked her more than a friend. As he stood in front of the gate of the Bakugou household, he wondered how he ended up here.

He inhaled deeply and rang the doorbell. He held a carton box in his one hand, knowing that he couldn't come empty handed. Furthermore, he made sure to dress appropriately. After all, this was where Mizuki had been taught about her fashion sense. He could only hope it was enough.

He wore a greyish blue buttoned dress shirt, rolled up to his sleeves with a pair of dark blue pants and black boots. His hair was spiked up as usual, giving him his confident look despite his nerves eating him on the inside.

He didn't know what to expect at all. The only thing he knew was that both her parents were of great importance to her. She didn't say anything else about them, leaving him in the darkness even when he asked her. She was a sadist. What if her mother was deaf in the one ear or if her father worked overseas?

"KATSUKI! GET THE DOOR ALREADY!"

Eijiro blinked as the loud female voice and sweat dropped. The gate had opened in the process of the shouting. He reminded himself that it was the Bakugou household and that it would only be natural for the shouting, right?

"SHUT UP ALREADY! I'M ON MY WAY!"

Eijiro wondered how did the neighbours live with this shouting. After all, he had a feeling that this shouting was a regular thing. He imagined the entire family of Bakugou's and paled slightly. Was Mizuki the most normal then?

He heard grumbling, followed by cursing and then the door swung open to reveal the usual scowling Bakugou. Eijiro grinned when he saw the male, feeling slightly better that his friend was here. He wasn't going to say it aloud…also not going to tell him that he thought of him as a friend.

"Yo, Bakugou!"

"You're early, Kirishima," he said and had the redhead laughed sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. Katsuki took in the appearance of the male and grunted in approval before opening the door fully.

"Come in already, idiot."

"Ah, thank you. Sorry for the intrusion!" Eijiro said as he entered the house, crimson eyes taking everything in around him. The living room was in front of him, the nearly laid out room contrasting against the aggressive nature of the household.

Katsuki was walking off with his hands pocketed, not a care in the world. So, this is Bakugou when he's at ease and in his comfort zone. Eijiro noted, observing the male with soft eyes. This was the Katsuki that Mizuki knew.

"You must be Kirishima-kun!" A female voice reached his ears and Eijiro froze. A peculiar familiar female walked out wearing a smirk. She wore a white top complemented by a lavender coloured jersey and a skirt, crimson eyes confident and strong.

M-Mizuki?! N-No, wait, it's her mother… They look exactly the same! Eijiro freaked out inside his mind, blushing at the female's appearance. She had vision in both her eyes. This is how she's going to look when she gets older…? Wow… Ah! What are you thinking! Pervert!

"U-um… Nice to meet you, Bakugou-san! Thank you so much for inviting me over for dinner!" Eijiro loudly exclaimed and bowed in a quick and swift motion. Katsuki and Mitsuki looked at the male with wide eyes at his obnoxious behaviour.

Mitsuki was about to say something but was cut off when the male's body straightened up again. "I brought these for you! Please accept it!" He said and had Katsuki want to groan at his obvious nervous behaviour. What was this moron doing?

Mitsuki found his actions adorable beyond words, and gave him a smirk. "Thank you, Kirishima-kun. I accept you gift," she said and he bowed with a loud 'thank you'. She resisted a laugh and nodded, crimson eyes shooting towards her son.

"Katsuki! Don't be rude! Offer our guest something to drink! Didn't I teach you any manners, you disrespectful brat!" She scolded the boy and he growled at her. Eijiro watched the two and instantly saw the resemblance.

"HAH?! He's not my guest! Mizuki can get him something to drink! Why the hell do I have to do shit? You were the one who invited him, Old Hag!" He received a slap from his mother, Eijiro sweat dropping at the interaction.

"Now, now, you two, we have a guest. You can do this all later on," a soft male voice spoke up and an older male came into view. His signature brown spiky hair stuck out towards the sky a pair of glasses resting on the bridge of his nose.

"Nice to meet you, Kirishima-kun. I'm Masaru Bakugou, Mizuki's father," he introduced himself and held out his hand towards the boy. Eijiro was shocked. He was the complete opposite of the duo standing behind him!

"N-Nice to meet you, Bakugou-san!" He said and shook the male's hand, the kind smile reminding him of Mizuki. It had his nerves evaporate away and his tensed shoulders relaxed. He was grateful for the male's presence, resisting to cry from brief happiness.

"Please make yourself at home while Katsuki gets us some beverages," he said and gestured for the boy towards the living room couch. Katsuki gritted his teeth, walking off with a loud scoff and his mother following.

"Thank you." Eijiro went to sit down, Masaru still wearing his soft smile as he sat next to the male. A silence lingered around them, both nor saying anything and Eijiro swallowed thickly. He didn't know what to say.

He wasn't the only one in the same situation. Masaru also didn't know what to ask the male. This was a new situation for him and his wife was usually the one to take control of these situations. He gave himself a small motivation inside his head and then looked at Eijiro.

"Mizuki tells me that your class is going on a training camp during the summer vacation. You must be excited about going," he said and Eijiro silently thanked the male for breaking the tension. He nodded and grinned brightly.

"Yes! I already talked to my parents about it! I'm pretty excited to train with the rest of the class. I'm sure that we're all grow stronger!" He said and Masaru hummed in reply. He was brimming with energy and it was almost addictive.

"Kirishima-kun, why do you want to become a hero, if you don't mind me asking?" Masaru asked, knowing that Mizuki had told them once before. Yet, he wanted to hear it from the male and see his expression.

He grinned and looked at his hands. "Ever since I was a kid, I've always admired Crimson Riot and wanted to become like him. I want to be a chivalrous hero. I don't want to regret anything. I want to become a hero who can protect," he said, Masaru watching the male's earnest expression.

"Crimson Riot, huh? Now that's a nostalgic name I haven't heard in a while," he said, cupping his chin. Usually there would only be talking about All Might by not only Katsuki but also everywhere he went.

"If I can remember correctly, he's was known for his reckless heroism. It's nice to hear that you have such an aspiring goal," Mitsuki's voice reached their ears as she walked out of the kitchen. Katsuki followed with a tray in hand, beverages resting on the surface.

"Hah, it's just a small fry-""Finish that sentence and I will end you." This time, it was Mizuki who finally came to the scene, cutting off her brother's insult. Eijiro looked at the female, eyes locking and both smiling warmly at each other.

"Hey, Red."

"Mizuki… You look nice," he said, standing up as the girl came into the living room. Mitsuki watched the intensity of their stare, Katsuki shivering and Masaru reaching for his drink as Katsuki went to put down the tray.

"Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself. Sorry for making you wait. This time I was the one who was fashionably late," Mizuki said with a chuckle, Eijiro shaking his head. He didn't mind it in the least, especially since the result was always breath-taking.

"Mizuki, I'm glad you're here. You father wanted to show you something in the study room." Masaru blinked and looked at his wife. He did? "He told me that he completely forgot about it and that he needed your opinion as soon as possible," Mitsuki gave him one glance to tell him to play along.

"I just got here and what about-""Great! Kirishima-kun, would you mind helping me out in the kitchen? I have a few things that I need to do to finish up with the food," she said, smirking and clapping her hand together in one smooth motion.

Eijiro was uncertain about what was happening and slowly nodded. "Sure, I'd love to help," he replied and the older female grunted happily. He saw Mizuki's eye twitched but she didn't argue any further with her mother.

"Katsuki, you can come and help us too, especially since you don't have anything better to do now anyway," Mitsuki didn't give the gaping boy a chance to argue as she already walked off, Eijiro following.

Mizuki rubbed her temples, briefly closing her eyes. She was well aware that her mother only wanted her out of the room. She knew the female well enough to figure out her schemes. She could only hope that she was going to remember not to talk about unnecessary things.

"W-Well, let me show you-""You don't have to pretend, Dad. I know it's her way to talk to Red alone," Mizuki said and sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. The male let his shoulders fall in defeat and she felt her heart give a tight squeeze.

"B-But I guess I can show you some of my new plans regarding my sunset range. I need a male's opinion," she said and watched as her father's face lit up brightly. She chuckled and then glanced at the emptiness where they left.

You better survive this, Red.

"It smells amazing!" Eijiro complimented the wonderful aroma that hit him fully as he stepped inside the kitchen. It was a mouth-watering smell and he could feel his stomach roar awake, much to his dismay.

Mizuki merely smirked, resting her one hand on her hip. "I'm glad you have a healthy appetite. I prepared more than enough so you can eat to your heart's content. First thing's first though, would you help Katsuki cut up the vegetables over there?" She asked.

"Yes!" He answered and went to work rather quickly, standing next to Katsuki while cutting up the vegetables. The ash blonde male was silent next to him, his hands gliding smoothly as he moved skilfully with the knife.

"Wow, Bakugou, I didn't know you were this good with a knife!" He pointed out in shock, staring at the male's motions which was much faster than his. It was rather alarming to see him working skilfully with such a sharp weapon.

"Hah? Of course, why do you suck at using one?" Katsuki pointed at the male, watching as Eijiro chopped slowly. Eijiro was once again reminded that Katsuki was good at everything he did and Mizuki was probably the same.

"You're just as useless as Mizuki in the kitchen. You two are a disgrace!" Katsuki scolded, the angrier he became, the more vegetables he finished chopping. Eijiro blew passed the insult easily and stared at the male.

"Mizuki?"

"He's merely overexaggerating," Mitsuki chimed in as she stirred inside one of the pots that rested on the stove. "She isn't a pro but she can make simple meals by sticking to the recipe…most of the time." Katsuki snorted in disagreement.

"Like hell she can. She nearly burned off the kitchen by wanting to cook an egg," Katsuki said and Eijiro gaped in disbelief. The ash blonde banned her from the kitchen after that event, not wanting her to burn the house down too.

Eijiro was flabbergasted at the new information. Mizuki… The Mizuki. His Mizuki, was bad at something? He stopped what he was doing, his mind reeling. Had he just called her his? He could feel his cheeks reddening.

"What about you, Kirishima-kun, do you cook?"

Mitsuki's voice brought him out of his thoughts. He laughed blushingly and rubbed the back of his head. "No, actually, I'm also not very good at it. My Dad on the other hand, he has a way to make the simplest meals, the best," he said and Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"That gene skipped a generation," he snorted out and Eijiro snickered with a nod. Mitsuki watched the interaction between the two and resisted a smile. It would seem that Eijiro was seem as a friend by the aggressive teen and she could understand why.

"I'll help you with that!" Eijiro offered as Mitsuki was about to pick up one of the pots to throw out the water and clean. She handed the pot over towards him, the male taking it with much strength and carried it over toward the sink.

He had good manners and had quite the strength. His impression on her was good, her crimson eye gleaming. The gesture made a shiver run down the twins' spines simultaneously, having the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

"Tell me, Kirishima-kun, where did you and Mizuki meet?" Mitsuki asked the male as he finished pouring the water down the drain. Katsuki's brow twitched at the question but the redhead merely grinned.

"We met at the U.A. entrance exam. It's actually funny. I thought that she was Bakugou in the sludge villain incident but when I approached, I was surprised to see it was his twin! We talked a few sentences and helped save a guy together. It was only later that we both were accepted that we actually talked though." He laughed lightly, recalling their first meeting.

He would never forget how she told him that she would show him her manliness. She barely gave him enough time before she was off, taking the lead and stayed on the top. She went to help the one in need without a moment of hesitation, her selflessness incredible.

Mitsuki watched his facial expression and read his emotions that was as clear as day. Admiration. Affection. This boy wore his heart on his sleeve and she could tell that he was kind hearted. However, he was still a boy.

"And what is it about my daughter that made you want to spend time with her?" Mitsuki asked, Katsuki's eyes twitching once again. He didn't want to be in the kitchen while she was asking questions like that!

Eijiro briefly stopped what he was doing and a soft expression came onto his face. "I don't think I'll ever to get the right words. The moment I met her, I wanted to know more about her. I wanted to try and figure out what it was that kept me thinking about her," he said, Mitsuki's eyes widening.

Eijiro laughed sheepishly. "It's really difficult to explain. It's just…from the beginning I thought she was really incredible. She always stands up for what's right, she cares about others more than herself and she never gives up. In the end, I fell for everything that was Mizuki," he finished.

Mitsuki felt her own cheeks warm at the boy's words. He meant each and every word he spoke. It turned out that Mizuki picked a good one and she approved of him…halfway. After all, Mizuki was her little girl. No one was going to gain her full approval that fast.

"It's no good. I think I fell hard."

Katsuki remembered his sister's words, his brows knitting together. It was clear that she wasn't the only one after hearing everything he had to say. Then why hadn't he asked her out yet? What was going on in that head of his?

"I smell something amazing!" Mizuki's head popped out of the doorway of the kitchen, crimson eyes gleaming brightly. Eijiro jumped slightly and looked at the girl with wide eyes. He could feel his cheeks warm up and hoped that she didn't hear what was said. He wanted to tell her that in his own time.

"Dad and I finished up with checking a few of the sunset range designs. I hope that my mother didn't say anything unnecessary to you," Mizuki told the male, a wave of relief washing over him. She didn't hear anything.

"Nothing at all!" He said with a big grin, Mitsuki rolling her eyes at her daughter's paranoia. Mizuki went to help Eijiro with washing up, not minding to roll up her sleeves and help to dry off some of the kitchenware.

"You mentioned your sunset range the other day in class too. Have you thought about any new ideas?" He asked, watching Mizuki from the corner of his eyes. He enjoyed the way her face lit up at the mention of her passion.

"I did! I'll show it to you later on! You're going to have to excuse the study room though… I didn't have enough space for everything in my room and I needed a bigger space to work in," Mizuki said as she thought about the papers that hung on the walls.

"I can't wait!"

"Before you two get too excited, I want you to set the table. We're going to have desert afterwards since Kirishima-kun was kind enough to bring us a few delicacies," Mitsuki said and Mizuki blinked in surprise, looking at Eijiro.

"Ah, well, I didn't know what else to bring! I wanted to take you to my favourite café someday and thought that I'll bring it to you for a pre-taste!" He stated and Mizuki felt her heart skip a beat at the bright grin. She smirked and winked at him.

"I'm still holding that as a future date, Red," Mizuki said, walking out with Eijiro short on her heels, laughing. Mitsuki and Katsuki was left alone in the kitchen, Masaru walking in not long after and founding his wife staring at the entrance.

"You look happy."

Mitsuki nodded, smirking as she put her hands on her hips, Masaru wrapping his arms around her middle. "I like him. He's got guts and doesn't hesitate to say what's on his mind. I can see why he caught her eye," she said and heart a growl from Katsuki.

"Could you not talk about that stuff with me in the room?! Why the hell did I have to be here anyway?!" He asked his mother, his parents watching their fuming teenage boy. Mitsuki only have him a smirk, with no answer and he had a feeling what she meant by the gleam that passed through her eyes. He scoffed, pocketing his hands.

"Whatever. Let's eat already!"

At the dinner table…

"This is amazing! Thank you so much for the food, Bakugou-san!" Eijiro exclaimed in happiness as he finished another bowl of rice. Mizuki sat next to him, content with herself while Katsuki sat on the end of the table.

"It's a pleasure. I'm glad you like it, Kirishima-kun. I hope the meat is to your satisfaction. Mizuki insisted that we make something you like," Mitsuki said, earning a glare of disbelief from her daughter. It wasn't like that at all.

"Really? That's wasn't necessary but I appreciate it!" He stated, Mizuki feeling her cheeks warm up as a result. Her mother was sly. She was saying things on purpose to have Mizuki react in ways to amuse her.

Masaru silently ate along with his son, both silent now that there was food in front of them. It was expected of the brown-haired male, not as much with Katsuki. Then again, he wasn't one to talk much during lunch either.

The meal that smelled mouth-watering wasn't disappointing at all and the silence lingering in the air was comfortable. Mizuki was next to him, warmth filling him and excitement following at the thought that he was going to see where she made her magic.

Mitsuki's eyes flashed with a tinge of mischief and the twins swallowed their food down difficultly. They immediately knew that she was up to no good, Mizuki giving her mother a warning look that did absolutely nothing to stop what was about to happen.

"Have you two kissed?"

Masaru's rice fell from his chopsticks as it stopped halfway to his mouth. Katsuki's pair of chopsticks broke at his sudden snappy grip. Mizuki and Eijiro both chocked on their food, the poor male grabbing his drink while the girl held a hand in front of her mouth, coughing.

Mizuki had tears in the corner of her eyes, continuing to cough and her embarrassment matching Eijiro's. Their faces were flushed, hearts beating loudly in their chests. It was the most unexpected question.

"MOM!"
"What?"

"What type of question is that?! You can't go asking something like that! I thought I told you no questions of the sort!" Mizuki scolded her mother. The ash blonde female was unfazed, taking a sip of her drink.

"You said no talking about marriage or having children. Kissing was never part of the conditions," she said, only making everything worse. Mizuki wanted the ground to swallow her up as her embarrassment grew. Eijiro wasn't far behind, his mind short circuiting at what was being said.

"Hey…" Katsuki's dark voice reached their ears and Mizuki turned blue. She hesitantly turned towards her brother, smoke coming from his hand palms. "Why are you avoiding the question? You, Shitty Hair, did you kiss my sister?" He asked, panic hitting the duo.

"W-Wait now, Katsuki, calm down," Masaru tried to stop his son from exploding and expected help from his wife. The said female, however, was eating her meal without a care in the world and he paled.

"H-He didn't-! We haven't-! You know I wouldn't-! Right, Red?" Mizuki nervously gave him a poke with her elbow. Katsuki was ready to blow, veins palpitating out from underneath his skin. Eijiro swallowed thickly and waved his arms in front of him.

"Y-yeah, that's right! W-We haven't k-kissed!"

"Then why are you two acting like idiots and sweating bullets?" Katsuki pointed out and had them turn white. He was too observant and his senses were too fine tuned. Eijiro mentally called for Mizuki and she was ready to give her finishing move to save them.

"Because it's embarrassing, okay?! Can we please stop talking about these things?!" Mizuki asked, the plea audible to everyone. She sent a wave of need towards her brother. He narrowed his eyes at her and then scoffed.

They both let out a breath they didn't know they held and then glanced at each other. They knew he would find out the truth sooner or later. However, they both hoped for later, each one with a different reason.

After dinner…

"Mizuki, you can go and show Eijiro your study room but on one condition," Mitsuki said, holding up a finger and made them swallow thickly. "You need to each take a pastry with you before we eat it all up!" They both let their tensed shoulders relaxed.

"We'll be quick-""Idiot, we all know that you're not quick about anything when it comes to your stupid designing, Fabric Conditioner," Katsuki cut off his sister and she pouted, She didn't have any room to argue with him.

"Nah, Mizuki, which flavour do you like?" Eijiro asked, Mizuki turning to look at him. The last time he had her taste something it was vanilla and cinnamon. The wonderful taste was still imprinted in the back of her mind.

"You pick." He blinked. "The last time you surprised me. I'll be counting on your to do the same this time as well," she said and he chuckled. He took their delicacies, each on a small plate and joined her side.

Mizuki eyed the small cake like treat with whip cream swirled above something mysterious. "What is it?" Mizuki asked, raising an eyebrow. It was an entirely new world to her when it came to cakes and treats.

"You said surprise you, right? My lips are sealed," he said with a smirk, a gleam of mischief passing through his eyes. Mizuki chuckled in amusement, accepting the silent challenge that was directed towards her.

"You better hold onto those treats then. You'll be blown away by what you're about to see," Mizuki told the male and he grinned. "No dropping those plates, alright?" He nodded as she clasped her hand over the doorknob and then grinned.

"Welcome to my paradise!" She said, opening the door and his eyes widened, a gasp escaping his lips. It was…an organized…mess? He was left speechless as he stepped inside the room, red eyes taking in his surroundings.

There were drawings and designs plastered all over the walls of the study room. The desk had a heap of books stacks onto each other with a few open, showing more designs. On the other side of the room was a bunch of colourful rolls of material as well as two mannequins. One had a finished sunset dress while the other one only had a rough piece of material wrapped around it.

Mizuki observed him closely, fidgeting slightly with her hands. It was her most vulnerable side that she was showing him. She didn't want anyone else to see this except her closest friends and family. She wanted him to see this. She wanted to show him that this was her biggest passion.

"You did all this? The drawings and…" His eyes rested on the sunset dress, his words falling away. This was the dress she was talking about at school. He expected it to be good but it was much more than he expected.

"Well? What do you think?"

He watched as Mizuki waited in suspense for his reply. He felt his heart give a tight squeeze at her expression and grinned. This room. This space or work and everything inside. It all spelled out Mizuki and his reply was instant.

"I love it," he said, his eyes intensely locking with her. Mizuki smiled brightly, her cheeks tinting at his words. She could feel her chest warm up and briefly intertwined her hands behind her back as she stepped deeper into the room.

"Mind if we sit down?" Mizuki asked pulling out a pair of cushions and holding them in the air. He nodded, the ash blonde teenager putting the cushions down. She sat down, Eijiro following as he put the plates down in front of her.

"So, you've been working on your own range? When did this all happen?" Eijiro asked, still glancing around. He was aware that she redesigned the costumes of their entire class but also knew that she starved herself for a week to design her own and couldn't estimate the time frame at all.

"After our first date," Mizuki answered and made his eyes widen. "I've always wanted to finish making my sunset range and that beautiful view was the last push I needed. I haven't gotten much time with everything happening continuously but I at least finished the dress."

Their first date… he recalled it like it was still yesterday, their second date also still fresh in his thoughts. He caught of something shining and saw the silver pen he gave her as present resting on the desk.

She designed with it?

"Okay, I've kept my curiosity at bay for as far as possible. Can we eat this now?" Mizuki regained his attention and he watched as she pouted. He laughed, earning a disapproving look that didn't reach her eyes.

"Take a bite." Mizuki lifted it up and raised an eyebrow. She mentally counted to three and took a bite, the sweetness blowing her away. She had never tasted something this sweet before and she found that the bit of sponge cake at the bottom calmed it down.

"This is amazing. What is it?"

"It's called a monburan. It has a sponge cake base topped with layers of cream with a chestnut puree on top. It's definitely one of my favourites," he said as he took his own bite, enjoying the wonderful sweetness.

"It's really unexpected." He looked at Mizuki as she smiled. "I never imagined you to have a sweet tooth and this much knowledge about deserts. Who would've thought that the manly Red would have a secret talent?" she said and smirked.

"It's nothing like your designing, but I'm glad you like it." Mizuki took another bite, blinking when the cream covered her lips. Eijiro burst out laughing at the view, nearly topping over as he held his stomach.

Mizuki's brow twitched before she grinned evilly. She took a bit of the cream and painted it over his lips, giving him a moustache. He was left speechless and this time it was her turn to burst out laughing the redhead soon following.

The rest of the evening was where the two conversed freely in the study room. The night was comfortable and turned out to be exactly what both of need yearned for. Mizuki had been worried about nothing.

"It was wonderful to meet you, Kirishima-kun. I hope that you enjoyed your evening and that you won't be scarce!" Mitsuki told the redhead, the teenager grinning brightly and Mizuki silently groaning at her mother's words.

"It was nice to meet you too, Bakugou-san! Thank you so much for the wonderful meal!" He said and bowed to both of her parents. Her father gave him a kind smile. Katsuki stood way in the back, his back halfway turned towards the scene.

"Bakugou, I'll see you at school tomorrow!" He waved happily, the male scoffing with a soft 'whatever' that made the redhead smile. It was a faint sign, but he didn't curse at him or called him by his given nickname. They were one step closer to a friendship from his side.

"I'll see you out, Red," Mizuki offered and he nodded. The teenagers went to walk out the front door, Katsuki's brows twitching. He didn't like the feeling that came from his gut and went to walk towards the door to keep an eye on them.

His collar was grabbed by his mother in a flash and his eyes widened as he choked slightly. "I don't think so, Mister. Leave your sister and Kirishima-kun alone," Mitsuki told him, a growl escaping his lips.

"Like hell! Let me go, Old Hag!"
"Call me that again and I'll kill you, unmannered brat!"

Mizuki paled and Eijiro sweat dropped as they heard the shouting coming from inside the house. The poor neighbours, they had both of the teenagers' sympathy. Mizuki had hoped that they would keep their shouting at bay at least until he left. Unfortunately, it was much too late for that now.

"Thanks for inviting me, Mizuki, I really enjoyed it," Eijiro spoke up, a small smile plastered on his lips. "I hope that I made a good impression on your parents." His added statement had Mizuki chuckling.

"That's the least you have to worry about, Red. If you made it out alive, then it means you did a great job," she said with a wink, stopping when they reached the gate. The lighting from the street lightened the dark sky painted above them, stars flickering occasionally.

"I'll see you tomorrow at school?" Mizuki said and he nodded in reply. She felt disappointed that the night had finally came to an end. Nevertheless, she had fun and she would see him again the next day at school.

"Mizuki." She went to glance up at him, eyes widening when he gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead, cheeks tinting. "Don't forget to get enough sleep and not to stay up too late designing," he said and laughed.

Mizuki gave him a playful slap and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Go home already!" She mockingly snapped at him and he laughed as he waved at her. She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched him walk away.

What an absolute idiot? I can't believe that I actually love him. Mizuki said and then blinked at her thoughts. Wait…what…? She knew that she liked him. She had found that she liked him more than a friend but those emotions had never developed more…right?

Mizuki closed the door behind her, her expression dazed and filled with disbelief. Mitsuki handed her husband a cup of coffee, both glancing at Mizuki. Katsuki felt an unsettling feeling rise up in his chest and glanced at his sister, finding her expression indescribable.

"What's wrong, Sweetie?"

"I…I…" She couldn't find her words as she stood by the door crimson eyes quivering. Katsuki felt an overwhelming amount of emotions rushing through him, his eyes widening in concern until realization washed over him as her thoughts reached him.

Mizuki Bakugou was absolutely in love Eijiro Kirishima.
