Hi, everyone! Welcome to Book II of the Mizuki series. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 7

Three days of written exams. They had to go through three days of intense written exams and there was no room for resting. It was crunch time for the students of Class A1 and there was no time like the present.

Everyone wanted to attend the training camp and indulge in die wonders of possible fun activities. No one wanted to be left behind and everyone made sure to put in their best efforts to pass the final written exams.

Mizuki sat through all the question papers with a bored expression on her face. Her hand trailed over the lines while Katsuki lazily clicked his pen as he worked through his own papers. Written exams were never an interest for the two of them.

Mina and Kaminari wrote constantly, their eyes hidden and their faces showing the seriousness of the situation. Eijiro rubbed the back of his head, occasionally biting the back of his pen before answering his questions.

Written Exam – Day 3

"Pencils down, everyone." Aizawa held up his hand, the clock showing the time that passed. "The last person in each row, collect the answer sheets and bring them here," he said and Mizuki let out a sigh as she sat back.

It was over. Thank goodness. After an entire week of constant studying and training, they were arriving at the end. The summer vacation was around the corner and all that stood between the students and the training camp was the practical exam.

"Thanks, Yao-momo!"

"I didn't leave anything blank, at least!" Kaminari and Mina cheered, Mizuki lazily glancing at the two as they grinned happily. It would seem that Momo was quite the tutor. She wondered how the other tutor's students did…

"Bakugou!" Eijiro's voice reached their ears and Mizuki watched as the redhead walked over towards her twin. "Thanks for all your help! I was able to do much more than I usually could!" Katsuki scoffed, pocketing his hands and putting his fete on his desk.

"Of course, you could! Who do you think tutored you, Hair for Brains?!" Katsuki snapped at him, Mizuki sweat dropping at the increasing number of nicknames her brother was using. She briefly wondered where he pulled out those names.

"I'm glad to hear my brother could help you out, Red. I hope that he wasn't too much of an asshole," Mizuki said as she joined the duo. Katsuki gave her a glare that she brushed passed while Eijiro shook his head.

"Nah, Bakugou really kept me on my toes and helped me out a lot." Eijiro's statement was almost too good for Mizuki to believe. "How were the exams for you?" He asked despite knowing what she was going to answer.

"I'm pretty sure I'll receive the highest score. I did say that I'll kick her ass in finals so we'll have to wait for the results," Mizuki stated confidently and he chuckled. As always, she was filled with spunk and energy.

The week was too long and their conversations were too short. He couldn't wait for the training camp but first things were first. He had one thing to do before it all and he needed to assure that he passed the exams before he did so.

He was nervous about daring to ask the question but as he stared at her, it all faded away. The crimson orbs that met his filled him with warmth. He grinned at the female, and she chuckled, shoving him lightly. Katsuki glanced at them and shook his head, face in disgust but eyes not showing any of the sort.

Day of the Practical Exam…

Mizuki hummed softly as she adjusted her small gauntlets on her wrists and walked on with her leg braces resting on her lower legs. She didn't know exactly how Mei managed to get Power Loader to go through with the adjustments but was forever grateful.

She could feel a tinge of nerves prickling in her body. It was a thrilling sensation. It was their first practical exam at U.A. High School and she was sure there was going to be much more than mere robots standing in their way.

"You're wearing your bracers again," Shoto's voice reached her ears and Mizuki glanced at the divided hair coloured male. He came in next to her, his stoic expression not matching the gleam that spoke in his eyes.

"Well…the first ones, kind of burnt off?" Shoto blinked and Mizuki chuckled. "They were also not authorized. Luckily, these ones have improved materials. I can't wait to test them out!" Mizuki grinned, a bit of a skip in her step.

He smiled, enjoying her giddiness. He didn't mind the minimum conversing since her presence was enjoyable enough for him. Though he did miss her this past week. Not that he was going to tell anyone.

Katsuki was quiet, not saying a word but feeling his distaste emerge from within him. He didn't like the friendship between Mizuki and Shoto. Even if it could barely be called a friendship, he was still against the idea of her becoming chummy with the competition.

"Mi-chan! Todoroki-kun!" Izuku called, the duo glancing back at the green haired male as he joined them with a big grin plastered on his face. "Sorry, I wanted to catch up sooner but got a bit distracted… Are you ready for this?"

Mizuki snorted. "Of course. Why wouldn't we be?" She looked at him, her eyes saying much more than her mouth was. They trained hard for this and made sure that they were prepared for anything that was going to be thrown at them.

"Mizuki's probably going to plough through all the robots with Bakugou. They'll probably compete and see who breaks the most," Kaminari pointed out. Mizuki snickered, Katsuki merely scoffing and keeping his thoughts to himself.

"I won't be so sure about that. I have a feeling that we have something else in store for us," Mizuki said, Eijiro raising an eyebrow at her statement. Something else besides robots? He felt a wave of unease wash over him. Mizuki was usually spot on with her intuition.

"Why would you say that, Mizuki-kun?"

Crimson orbs didn't dare to look at the fur eyed male who asked the question. She merely smirked and crossed her arms behind her head. "You honestly think a prestigious school such as U.A. would test the strength of aspiring young heroes by using the same technique that got them into the school?" She asked.

"I mean, you do know that Aizawa Sensei was against the whole entrance exam from the beginning. If he had a say in what we're doing then there's definitely going to be a catch," Mizuki pointed out and caused a few students to swallow thickly.

"B-But Class B said that there will be robots! They had inside information, right?" Kaminari stated in an uncertain tone, Mina nodding frantically next to him. Mizuki shrugged off their statements and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.

By the time the entire group arrived at the centre plaza, Mizuki knew her gut was right. In front of them stood eight of the pro hero teachers, each one's face familiar either from class or from the teacher's board.

She gave a glance to her brother's side, his eyes locking onto his twin's orbs. In that moment, they both knew that this practical exam was going to be much more than robots. They smirked. Not that it mattered. They would conquer whatever was thrown in their way.

"Now, we will begin the practical exam," Aizawa spoke as the students lined up in front of the teachers. "It's possible to fail this exam. If you want to go to the training camp then don't make any stupid mistakes."

"There are a lot of teachers…" Eijiro stated his thoughts aloud and a few other students noticing the strange fact as well. What if Mizuki was right? What if this test was much more than merely destroying robots?

"I expect that you all have gathered information ahead of time and have some idea of what you will be doing," Aizawa spoke. The twins stood there in their own world. They didn't even care about gathering information since their ultimate aim was to overcome whatever came their way.

"We're fighting robots warriors like at the entrance exam, right? Fireworks! Curry! Test of Courage!" Mina exclaimed, Kaminari joining her side as they cheered. Mizuki's brows twitched at their carefree behaviour.

"Too bad." Crimson orbs widened when she saw Aizawa's scarf move. "For various reasons the exam will be different starting this time!" Principal Nezu's voice reached their ears as he popped out of the scarf and Mizuki nearly gaped.

She could feel the stab in her heart at the adorableness of the scenery. She watched as he used Aizawa's scarf as a lifeline, Thirteen helping him down. Her mind was railing, thoughts spiralling out of control and it didn't matter that she was right about the exam.

Did anyone else see that? Was I honestly the only one who saw Principal Nezu use Aizawa Sensei's scarf as a lifeline?! Did he stay hidden beneath the scarf this entire time?! How did he even fit in there?!

"From now on, we want to focus on person-to-person combat and hero work, and stress teaching that is closer to actual fighting. So, we'll have you form teams of two to fight against one teacher!" Principal Nezu said and their eyes widened.

"Against…the teachers?"

"In addition, the pairs and who each pair will be up against have already been decided. These were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades and interpersonal relationships, so here they are…" Aizawa continued.

"First, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu are one team." Mizuki felt a shiver run down her spine when she saw him smirk and pill up his scarves. "And they're fighting me," he pointed out. The two students who came through recommendations. She wondered how it would turn out, especially since their Quirks wouldn't mean much against the pro hero.

"Then Midoriya and Bakugou are a team." Mizuki felt her entire body run cold, her heart dropping into her stomach as realization washed over her. She could feel her brother's emotions whirl inside her, shock and disbelief filling her.

"Their opponent…""I will do it!" All Might exclaimed as he swooped in, landing with his fists already made. The shock was overwhelming and Mizuki wanted the ground to swallow her whole. This wasn't real. It was all a bad joke from Aizawa. It had to be.

"Work together to beat me, you two!" All Might said and Mizuki bit the inside of her cheek. This was insane. Katsuki and Izuku both enemies now had to work together against the number one hero that they looked up to? What the hell was Aizawa thinking?

They weren't going to be able to work together. On the contrary, Katsuki would kill Izuku before any of that happened. This was a terrible idea and she was starting to feel even worse with her brother's churning rage that roared within her.

"And now, we'll announce the teams and the teachers they'll be up against all at once!" Principal Nezu cheerfully stated, his one paw behind his back and the other in the air. Mizuki was briefly snapped out of her horror, ears perking.

Match 1 – Sato & Kaminari vs. Cementoss
Match 2 – Tsuyu & Tokoyami vs Ectoplasm
Match 3 – Iida & Ojiro vs Power Loader
Match 4 – Momo & Shoto vs Aizawa
Match 5 – Ochaco & Aoyama vs Thirteen

As the teams were announced, the groups of two were made, Mizuki frowning as they continued to pair everyone up. She could only wonder with who she was going to team up with and against whom were they going to battle.

Match 6 – Kota & Jiro vs Present Mic
Match 7 – Mizuki & Eijiro vs Nezu
Match 8 – Shoji & Mina vs Snipe
Match 9 – Mineta & Sero vs Midnight
Match 10 = Katsuki & Izuku vs All Might

She was shocked to find that her partner was Eijiro along with a few other students. He grinned at her from ear to ear, giving her a thumbs up. She wanted it to ease her nerves but the last match of the practical exam left a bad taste in her mouth.

Shoto caught sight of Mizuki and Eijiro, his surprise showing in his duo coloured eyes. They paired them together? Moreover, they weren't going against Aizawa? He would've thought that the eraser male would be her opponent since he was keeping such a close eye on her.

Something was up and he was going to find out what it was. There was a distinct reason behind each one's pair but if they took into account that the duo liked each other, then why did they pick them? He resisted a frown and pushed the unwanted thoughts away. He needed to concentrate on their match against Aizawa for the time being.

"The time limit for the exam is thirty minutes! Your objective is either to put these handcuffs on the teacher, or to have one of your escape from the stage," Principal Nexu explained. Mizuki frowned at the added information.

"Capture the teacher or escape… It's kind of like the combat training. Is it really okay to run away?" Kaminari asked, raising an eyebrow. Wouldn't that meant that they would be deducted points if they did that?

"Yes! But it'll be different from combat training!" Present Mic replied, doing rhythm motions with his hands and arms, a big grin plastered on his face, "You'll be up against someone waaaaaaay better than you!" He said and Jiro raised an eyebrow.

"Better…than us? I can't really imagine it though…"

"Dummy! Hey, girl, watch your mouth! You hear?!" Present Mic told her, offended at her statement while Kota panicked. Jiro was unfazed by the male's obnoxious retort, still not able to see what the difference was.

"This time, your exam will be very similar to a real battle. Please think of us as villains," Thirteen said and Mizuki blinked. She looked at the small white and fluffy principal and sweat dropped. How the hell was she going to imagine the cute principal being a villain?

Hero Name: Thirteen
Quirk: Black Hole

"Assuming you come across the enemy, if you think you can win a fight against them, then that's fine. However, in cases where there's too big of a difference in your abilities, it would be smarter to run away and get help," Aizawa said and Mizuki felt his eyes on her.

"Todoroki, Iida, Midoriya, Mizuki. I'm sure you four understand this very well," Aizawa said and Mizuki glanced at her hand palms. USJ. He was referring to her reckless behaviour to fight off against the villains even if it meant her own life was in danger.

Fight and win or run and win. The second one was going to prove to be problematic for her. Mizuki never ran from a fight even if it meant that she was overpowered. She would use the last of her powers to try and win even if it meant her own life and her brother was exactly the same.

"That's right! Your decision-making skills are being tested! But with these rules, you're probably thinking the only choice is to run, right? That's why we had the support course make these for us!" All Might said and pulled out a peculiar looking item.

"Ultra-compressed weights! We'll put on about half of our body weights. It's to give you a handicap. It's old-fashioned, but it makes it hard to move and eats up stamina! By the way, there was a competition to decide on the design, and we ended up using Young Hatsume's!" All Might said and Mizuki sweat dropped.

"To allow us to consider fighting you, huh? You're underestimating us," Katsuki scowled at the number one hero. Mizuki felt unease course through her veins at the grin that the strongest hero gave the duo.

"I wonder."

"All right, each team will take the practical exam in order on the prepared stage. Sato, Kaminari, get ready," Aizawa told the two. "Those waiting their turn can watch the exams or think of strategies as a team. Do what you want. That's all." Aizawa turned to walk away with the other teachers while the students dispersed.

"Aizawa Sensei!" Mizuki called, catching the male's attention and Eijiro following not too far behind her. The scruffy haired male stopped in his tracks and turned towards the worried expression of the ash blonde teenager.

"I mean no disrespect at all about what I'm about to say." Her expression turned serious. "I don't think it was a wise choice to put Izu-kun and Katsuki together as a team, even more so against All Might," she said and Aizawa's eyes narrowed slightly.

Eijiro observed Mizuki with brief shock on his face. He too was uncertain about the decision made to put them together but he never would've thought that Mizuki would immediately come out and say it. She once again reminded him of her unpredictable actions.

"I'm assuming that your goal is to get them to get along and overcome their differences but one little test isn't going to restore all the bad history between them. Rather, I know that it will only worsen it," Mizuki said and Aizawa blinked slowly.

She had guts. Lots of it. He already knew it beforehand and had a feeling that she would object to his decision. After all, Mizuki wasn't one to always lay back. She had a rebellious nature in her.

"I understand your concerns for your brother and Midoriya, Mizuki. However, if they are unable to work together and overcome their differences then they won't be able to become heroes," he said, his words harsh and hitting Mizuki solidly.

"If you keep fighting their battles for them then they won't even be able to grow and come out on top. You should focus on your own battles. You are here to become a hero, are you not?" Aizawa asked as a shadow fell over her eyes, her hands balled into fists by her sides.

"Yes, sir."

"Good. You better be prepared for your practical exam, Mizuki, Kirishima," Aizawa said and then walked off without another word. He left Mizuki with her own raging thoughts, her frustration building.

It was easy for him to say when he wasn't the one who was worried about both her best friend and brother. Did he think that she hadn't tried her best in the past for them to get along? Did he think all she did was babysit them the entire time?

She felt a soothing hand on her shoulder. "Hey, I know that you're worried about Bakugou and Midoriya but maybe Aizawa Sensei is right. Maybe we should focus on our own match and worry about them later," Eijiro calmly suggested.

In all honesty, Mizuki wanted to. She wanted to forget about the problems that they may come across and focus on their own match. It was incredibly difficult though, since her brother's emotions kept washing over her.

"You're right, Red, sorry." Mizuki inhaled deeply and gave him a small smile that didn't reach her eyes. He noticed this and squeezed her shoulder. "Let's get down to planning our match and then we can get in a few views on the others," she said and he nodded.

"Sounds great! We're going to crush this practical exam!" He exclaimed confidently, Mizuki smirking by his side. His excitement and self-assured attitude were addictive. She pushed away the negative emotions from within her and let out a breath.

"First thing's first. We need to figure out everything we can about the principal and then the area we're fighting in. That way we can strategize how we're going to approach this fight," Mizuki said and Eijiro grinned.

"We're fighting in Field Gamma!" He informed her and she blinked. "I took a sneak peek at the schedule while the teachers were still explaining everything." Mizuki let out a light laugh and then grinned evilly.

"Seems like I have a great partner already!" She stated and he blushed faintly, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "Field Gamma, huh? It's basically a labyrinth that we'll easily get lost in, not to mention, we'll have to keep damage to the minimum."

"But if we keep straight to the path and keep going forward then we should be able to arrive at the exit in no time! But I have a feeling that Principal Nezu won't make it that easy," Eijiro said and Mizuki nodded, cupping her chin.

"I agree. We're going to have to make sure that we know where we are all the time. We're going to have to keep to the skies and the top of the buildings," Mizuki planned and Eijiro nodded, an eyebrow raising.

"What about the principal? Do you know what Quirk he uses?" He asked and Mizuki shook her head. Unfortunately, they were at a disadvantage because of lack of information. She knew many heroes and their Quirks because of Izuku but this was one hero she didn't know of.

"I can tell that he doesn't have a power Quirk." Eijiro gave her a look filled with confusion. "He never put on the weights that the other teachers put on. That means that he won't necessarily fight against us in close combat," Mizuki said and frowned.

That was where they were at another disadvantage. Eijiro's Quirk was made for close combat and she also depended on fighting close. This was a smart choice. They were cornering the students as far as possible for them to find a solution and the thrill made her smirk.

Finding solutions was merely another day's work for Mizuki Bakugou.

Monitor Room…

The first match of Sato and Kaminari against Cementoss ended with the duo losing because of lack of stamina. It was an unfortunate match up and they couldn't even give the pro hero a scratch, resulting in them failing the practical exam.

Rikido Sato
Quirk: Sugar Rush

The next team consisted of Tsuyu and Tokoyami against Ectoplasm. They fought in practical exam location two, their opponent a lot tougher than expected. Yet, the calm and collective nature of Tsuyu pulled them through in the end. They passed by catching the teacher and claimed the title of the first examinees to achieve success.

Fumikage Tokoyami
Quirk: Dark Shadow

The practical exam was pitting students against teachers so that they'd have a hard time on purpose. It was pushing the students to deal with their own weaknesses to pass. That's why the importance of the compatibility with the teacher each pair was going to fight against.

"Ah damn, we already missed two matches," Mizuki's voice reached the ears of those inside the monitor room. Izuku, Ochaco and Recovery Girl glanced back to see the redhead and his ash blonde companion walking inside.

"Mizuki-san! Kirishima-kun! Are you joining us to watch the matches?" Ochaco asked with a big smile when she saw the female. She saw Eijiro glance around, blinking as she recalled the peculiar pairing. She thought of her and Izuku's first combat training. She blushed and shook her head.

"Yeah! But Midoriya, Uraraka, shouldn't you two be planning your matches?" Eijiro asked as he and Mizuki came to a stop by the other two. Recovery Girl sitting on her chair with a content expression on her face.

"Well, um…" They thought of Aoyama, the image of the blonde posing in front of a mirror flashing in their thoughts. Then they thought of Katsuki and didn't need any other explanation as to why exactly they were watching the matches.

Yuga Aoyama
Quirk: Navel laser

"Did you two finish with your planning already?" Izuku asked, his blinking in surprise. He was aware of Mizuki's fast thinking and strategies but he didn't expect them to finish already. He stared at the duo and then frowned lightly.

Why were they paired? Moreover, against the principal? He could think of a few reasons why Mizuki was the ideal pair for Eijiro because of her quick thinking but he didn't quite understand the other way around.

"…going to be a bit tough but we'll blast through everything. Nah, Red?" Mizuki's voice had him snap out of his thoughts. He watched as the redhead grinned and nodded, the ash blonde female's confidence easing the tense atmosphere.

"Team Ojiro and Iida, practical exam. Ready, go!"

Mizuki's eyes travelled towards the monitor screen and then narrowed. They were fighting against Power Loader. She didn't know much about him but she was aware of his claw like hands that enabled him to dig and gave him the perfect advantage on the fighting grounds.

Higari Maijima
Hero name: Power Loader
Quirk: Iron Claws

He prepared beforehand, making pitfalls for the pairing using his support equipment to dig deeper and deeper. The places where they were able to stand were all starting to become less and less as the match progressed.

Mizuki crossed her arms over her chest. It was a bad matchup for the pair. They wouldn't be able to fight him head on. That would leave them the option of escaping or rather, to find another hero with a Quirk more advantageous against their opponent.

"Whoa! The entire field looks like it'll fall apart!" Eijiro exclaimed as they watched the pitfalls emerge. They didn't know where Power Loader was going to attack them and they didn't know where the pitfalls would be… Was the practical exam this difficult?

Ochaco snorted as she tried to hide her laugh when Ojiro climbed onto Iida's back, the view very strange. Mizuki chuckled in amusement, eyes gleaming when she figured out what the deputy class representative was going to do.

Mashirao Ojiro
Quirk: Tail

He used his ultimate more, recipro burst, and ran over the plain faster than the pitfalls could emerge. It was a smart choice but it would be too easy that way. The pro hero obviously had something up his sleeve-

"Oh no!" Izuku exclaimed as the ground cracked, leaving a large hole between them and the entrance. If they didn't think of something fast, then they were going to be in trouble. They needed to find the best solution and quick.

Four-Eyes has changed a lot ever since the Hosu Incident. I'm sure that he'll figure this out. Mizuki thought with a smirk. She watched as Ojiro wrapped his tail around the male's leg and was then propelled forward with a boosting kick from Iida.

Power Loader was unable to stop Ojiro's pursuit after the male attacked with his tail. He flew through the gate, arriving safely on the other side. They managed to get an escape without any possible injuries.

"Team Iida and Ojiro have passed!"

"They're both amazing!" Ochaco said, pumping her fists, Mizuki chuckling when she saw the poor male stuck inside the dirt. At least he managed to win the match looking cool and all that mattered was that they passed.

Eijiro's brows knitted together as he looked at the screen. He initially thought that if one were to capture a teacher one would receive the highest score but it didn't seem to be the case at all. Instead, one was awarded for making the correct decision.

It was the thing that both Eijiro and Mizuki was going to have to face. They had to possibly run from a fight and it was a bitter pill to swallow, especially for Mizuki who wanted to become a limitless hero.

He looked down at his hands and then made fists. His goal was to be able to protect and become stronger. He wanted to become an impenetrable shield and also wanted to show his worth as a good hero.

"Team Todoroki and Momo, practical exam. Ready, go!"

"Mmm, Todoroki-kun and Yaoyorozu-san, I wonder why they were teamed up together…" Izuku trailed off, Mizuki scoffing as she looked at the screen. Everyone's eyes rested on Mizuki as she briefly closed her eyes.

"It's simple. Momo's self-confidence is up to shit." They sweat dropped at her statement. "She's been constantly showing doubt in every decision she makes on the battlefield. Shoto, on the other hand, takes the lead without considering the emotional state of his partner," Mizuki stated.

She knew that very well. His decision at Hosu to stop her from going after Izuku was to keep her safe but he didn't consider the impact it had after she found out the stupid decisions they made. Communication was an important factor when it came to any relationship.

It was even more so with hero teams. The divided hair coloured male would have to realize that taking the lead was very noble but he had to consider Momo's mental state. Unfortunately, he wasn't going to notice it until someone told the dense male.

"They're at a clear disadvantage when it comes to their Quirks since Aizawa Sensei can erase it. They're being forced to think and strategize. If they fail to work together and overcome their weaknesses, then they'll definitely fail," Mizuki finished explaining.

A part of Mizuki was the same as Shoto. She took the lead in any situation, planning everything out perfectly, yet not always considering those around her. The incident at USJ always kept her self-conscious of her decisions. Even at Hosu, she couldn't run away and leave the heroes. She needed to take matters into her own hands.

However, those hands weren't limitless yet.

The match dragged on with the two running towards the gate, slipping through the alleyways of the town they ran in. Their initial plan was simple. They kept their Quirks activated until noticing the change and then one of them made a run for it while the other one kept the teacher occupied.

Simple, yet stupid.

They were going up against a pro hero that could erase Quirks. They were clearly underestimating the skills of their homeroom teacher and overestimating their own skills. In the end, it worked against them.

Aizawa managed to catch the pair off guard. Momo ran off while Shoto was captured by the eraser hero. He was hung by the telephone wired that stretched above the street and his plan to escape was dwindled when Aizawa threw caltrops on the ground.

H-He's a ninja! What the hell? Can he not be cool for like…I don't know, five seconds? Mizuki thought and bit her bottom lip. Aizawa was intelligent. He knew of the weaknesses and made sure to get rid of Shoto before going after Momo who was the real target.

There was a reason why she came through recommendations. There was a reason why she was one of the possible candidates for class representative. There was a reason and Momo needed to realize that before it was too late.

Momo managed to escape the attack of Aizawa and then ran back towards were Shoto was. It was painful to watch and Mizuki wished she could give the girl a good hit to bring her back to her senses. What was she doing leaving the decision making to Shoto? She could do it on her own!

By the time she arrived by the divided hair coloured male, Aizawa was hot in pursuit of her. She panicked, not knowing what to do until Shoto spoke. Mizuki raised an eyebrow, watching the interaction and knowing that look in his eyes.

Her eyes travelled towards the teacher and her lips twitched upwards. There was only one other person that would help the boy on the battlefield and that was their homeroom teacher.

Momo's lips trembled, her hands shooting towards her waist where the Russian dolls were nested. She threw them into the air, Mizuki's eyes widening when Aizawa hit the dolls to reveal flash grenades.

That sneaky little shit.

She managed to help Shoto out of his predicament and then ran off. Their plan changes. This time, all they had to do was get out of his field of vision and then… Mizuki smirked when she came to realize what they were planning.

The moment Aizawa blinked was the moment Shoto made the large ice geyser attack he sued at the sports festival. Not only did he block the male's vision but he also blocked the path that led towards the pair.

"Isn't that…?"

"Yeah, that's the giant ice wall he made at the sports festival. They hit Aizawa Sensei right where it hurt. The only question now is if they're going to escae in time or, are they going to fight against him?" Izuku asked, tapping his chin and Mizuki smirked.

"They're obviously going to fight him." Mizuki's tone was simple and sounded so sure. She had a smirk plastered on her face as she watched the screen. Momo had a plan to defeat Aizawa all along and with a piece of her confidence restored, she was definitely going to go through with it.

"Why isn't Aizawa Sensei going after them, though?" Ochaco asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion as she watched the male stand on the rooftop of one of the buildings. Mizuki kept her answer to herself, Izuku being the one to reply.

"He might've overused his eyes…?" Izuku suggested, expecting Mizuki to add something but she didn't say a word. Eijiro stared at Mizuki, the peculiar gleam in her eyes making his widen slightly before his attention returned towards the screen.

They were prepared for the pro hero as he came to attack them. They each wore a cloth, enabling them the advantage of their Quirks not being erased. Yet, he used his capturing scarf to wrap around the heads and pulled the cloth, only to find that it was mannequins hidden beneath.

A catapult was revealed and Momo went to pull the lever, Mizuki's eyes widening when she missed. She messed up the perfect opportunity to catch the pro hero off guard and that one mistake could mean the match for them.

Aizawa jumped back, Momo quick to press the lever to throw the scarf looking substance towards the pro hero. Mizuki's brows furrowing. Aizawa could've easily averted any possible attack and yet, he didn't.

Shoto's flames were next to emerge but didn't engulf the teacher. The scarf-like weapon that Momo made then started to harden at the heightened temperature until in completely captured the pro hero.

"Oh dear. When all's said and done, that man's a softie," Recovery Girl said as the buzzer went off and announced that their team passed. Mizuki couldn't help but grin at their victory and excitement boiled through her veins.

This was an inspiring match.

"Ochaco-chan, your match is almost starting. I'm glad I made it in time to give you 'good luck'. Ribbit," Tsuyu spoke as she entered the monitoring room and the brown-haired girl nodded. Her nerves were shot and she had an anxious smile plastered on her lips.

"Good luck, Uraraka-san!"

"Thank you!" Ochaco said and waved them off. "I'll see you after my match again!" Mizuki gave the female a single glaze as she ran off towards where their match would take place. She had a feeling that it was going to be another interesting match.

She caught sight of Izuku staring at the entrance of the door, a smile plastered on his face. She leaned in and gave him a small shove, the male giving her a blank look. He paled when he saw her give him a smug expression.

"What an interesting expression you have there, Izu-kun. A penny for your thoughts about Ochaco?" Mizuki asked and savoured the way the male's cheeks tinted a deep crimson. He waved his arms drastically in front of his face while shaking his head.

"N-No! I-It's not like t-that, Mi-chan!"

"Like what exactly, Izu-kun?" Mizuki asked innocently, acting like she didn't know a thing and only made the male more embarrassed. Tsuyu and Eijiro both cocked their heads to the side in confusion at what was happening.

Mizuki smirked and intertwined her hands behind her back, crimson eyes returning towards the screen. She said once before that she wasn't going to pry but she might as well have the dense male realize what he was doing.

"…Ochaco has an enormous crush on you…!"

Izuku swallowed thickly as he recalled the conversation, he had with Mizuki that night at the beach. He forgot about it…mostly… The thought of the brown-haired girl liking him was too much for his heart and Mizuki knew that.

Mizuki saw his troubled expression and rolled her eyes. She pulled him into a headlock and ruffled his hair almost painfully with her fist. "Stop overthinking everything, Idiot!" Mizuki told him and he glanced up at the kind expression he received from Mizuki.

"Ah! Sorry! Sorry! I give! I give!" Izuku tapped on her arm, the ash blonde female not thinking of even letting him go. He sweat dropped as she continued to push against him, paling when a gleam of mischief passing through her eyes. He was done for.

"Sometimes I'm surprised to see Midoriya-chan and Mizuki-chan getting along this well when I think about Bakugou-chan," Tusyu spoke her thoughts aloud and Eijiro nodded. He agreed. It was hard to imagine that one twin had a best friend relationship while the other one had a hatred relationship.

Mizuki caught sight of Eijiro smiling in thought as he stared at them and grinned back at him. Izuku still struggling somewhat in her grasp. After a while, he decided to give up and merely peeked at the screen from the grip.

The fifth match, the exam with team Ochaco and Aoyama against Thirteen, was quick to enter its final stages. The pair were both holding on tightly to the railings near the exit, Thirteen using her Quirk to suck them in with much force.

The time was flying by too quickly for the ash blonde female and it made adrenaline pump through her system. It would only be a matter of time before their own match was going to start and in another blink of an eye, the day would be done and dusted.

"Ochaco-chan seems to be in a tight pinch," Tsuyu said as they watched the two, Mizuki sweat dropping and letting go of the scruffy green haired boy. How on earth did it end up with them in this predicament.

She could show the world of sympathy for Ochaco, knowing that Aoyama wasn't one of the easiest males to work with. She was sure that she would blow him up if he got on her nerves. She didn't understand him at all.

The pair seemed to argue, Aoyama saying something that caused Ochaco's facial expression to flush immediately. Mizuki paled when the girl accidently let go, Izuku and Eijiro also whitening at the sudden action.

She panicked, Thirteen stopping her Quirk in surprise. The instant Ochaco appeared in front of the teacher, her facial expression darkened. She pressed the teacher down, Aoyama catching the other hand and they cuffed the pro hero in mere seconds. The buzzer went off next and announced they passed.

"Uh…that was…"

"Nice judgement, Uraraka-san! I can't believe she thought to use her opponent's power to get in close!" Izuku cheered, Mizuki sweat dropping. Was the male that oblivious? Did he not see that she let go because of something that made her flustered? And here she was worried about Shoto's communication skills.

"Ribbit… To me, it looked like Ochaco just happened to let go, though…" Mizuki and Eijiro nodded, Izuku blinking in surprise. "I wonder what she was talking about with Aoyama right before she let go?" Tsuyu mused.

"Who knows? We can't hear what they're saying from over here," Izuku said and Mizuki huffed. She had quite an idea what was said to the girl, that face too nostalgic for her own liking. It would seem Mizuki wasn't the only observant one in the class after all.

"Uraraka-kun passed, huh? I don't expect any less!" Iida chimed in as he and Momo stepped inside the monitor room. Mizuki's face fell when she saw them, her brows furrowing as she thought about one specific match.

"Congrats to you, Iida-kun and Yoayorozu-san, too!" Izuku congratulated the duo and they smiled. They were about to show their gratitude but froze when they felt the threatening aura from Mizuki, everyone paling.

"M-Mi-chan?!"

"You," Mizuki looked at Yaoyorozu, eyes narrowing as she took a step towards the female. She paled and Iida was quick to hold a hand out to protect the female from Mizuki's wrath. However, he too feared what was going to happen.

"You want to go, Four Eyes? You think that just because you passed against a pro hero you stand a chance against me? Aren't you cocky?" Mizuki snapped at the male and his eyes widened. Eijiro was quick to grab Mizuki's shoulder and tried to calm her down with a smile.

"Wait a minute, Mizuki, they passed, didn't they? That's all that matters, right?" Eijiro asked, Izuku amazed that Mizuki's deadly aura evaporated away. She let out a breath, relaxing her shoulders and Eijiro was relieved.

Bonk!

Momo was lightly hit on her head, Mizuki using the side of her hand as she easily escaped Eijiro's grip. "Idiot! I hope you learned your lesson! Don't make me doubt the reasons why I'm always challenging you!" Mizuki told the female, everyone blinking in surprise.

Momo's eyes were wide as she looked ta Mizuki's smirk, her crimson orbs gleaming brightly. She pulled her hand back and rested her hands on her hips as she turned her back towards them. She briefly closed her eyes and chuckled.

"Of course, my Deputy Class Representatives would pass. I wouldn't want any other two idiots to be of use," Mizuki said and had the two deputy class representatives tearing up. The felt honoured by her words, the bonk of Momo's head making her smile warmly.

"Mizuki-san…"
"Mizuki-kun…"

Mizuki then gave Eijiro a wink, the male chuckling at her actions. For a moment everyone expected her to lash out. Instead, she gave the duo an indirect compliment. He wasn't going to tell her but he was glad that she was more open with her emotions.

Team Koda and Jiro, practical exam. Ready Go!

"The next match is… Koda-kun and Jiro-kun against Present Mic. The practical exam matches up students with the teachers they'd have the hardest time with on purpose, right?" Iida asked, Momo nodding in reply.

Koji Koda
Quirk: Anivoice

"It's easy to understand Jiro-san and Koda-kun's match up since they're up against Present Mic Sensei. The two of them have sound-related Quirks. What will they do against a Quirk that drowns out sound?" Izuku asked, Mizuki smirking as she turned around and started to walk away.

"Huh? Mi-chan, you're not staying?"

Mizuki stopped in her tracks and glanced back at the group. "Nah, I'm confident they'll find a way," Mizuki stated, her tone of voice calm but her eyes intense. It almost seemed as if she was going to swallow them all whole.

"I'm off too. We'll see you guys afterwards!" Eijiro waved with a grin, his expression hiding his own nerves and excitement. The group watched as the pair walked off and each gave them their good luck.

Izuku swallowed thickly, his expression serious as he briefly stared at the door. He hoped that the pairing of the two was a good decision and that it wouldn't cause any complications. He also hoped that whatever happened in the next match would not be the cause of a very unwanted factor.

"I wonder why the pairing of Mizuki-san and Kirishima-kun was made," Momo thought aloud, cupping her chin. Could it be because of Mizuki's intelligent and strategic thinking? If that was the case then the match up against the principal was going to be tough on the ash blonde female and the redhead.

"I'm confident that Mizuki-kun will find a way alongside Kirishima-kun's side. She always finds the possible solution to any problem that's thrown her way," Iida pointed out as he thought about all the situations that Mizuki had been in the past.

He was confident in the perseverance of Eijiro and his hardening Quirk. They would be the perfect combination of shield and spear in their match. That's why he wasn't in the least bit worried. After all, this was their class representative they were talking about.

She would be just fine.
