Chapter one: The note that starts in all

"Hayner, I want you know you're the first guy I've ever liked. I like you" Sora a slender young adult with spiky caramel hair with peach skin, and blue eyes that almost look like the sky says.

Across from him, Hayner a tall brown haired young adult with a slightly muscular build looks into Sora's eyes, "I can't believe you said that," Sora's heart drops into his stomach, "when I should have been the one to say that first." Sora smiles back, "Will you be my boyfriend" both of them embrace into a hug.

"Sora… Sora" hua? Sora opens his eyes to see his friend Roxas shaking him awake.

Sora sits up, blushing as he remembers what he was dreaming about. A few rows in front of him, none other than Hayner sat, this is the only class they shared, economics.

"Sora," the voice of his teacher carries over the class. "Stay awake in my class or you'll be sent to the office"

"Yes." He says back before looking at the board behind her. This class was just so hard to stay awake in. Sora quickly writes down what was on the board into his notebook and tries to stay awake through the rest of class. While every once in a while, Sora looks over at Hayner. If only, he thinks to himself.

The bell rings and everyone gets up to leave. Sora and Roxas, he also has blue eyes and short, spiky dirty-blonde hair, he's thin and short like Sora, start making their way to mess hall. Along the way, Kairi and Selphine joins the two.

After going through the line and picking what food the group wants, they all took a free table and before anyone gets a bit into their food Roxas asks, "were you Dreaming about Hayner again."

Sora rubs the back of his neck and smiles, "umm."

"That's a yes," Kairi laughs, "how long is it going to take before you ask him out?"

"I don't even know if he… you know would even be interested in me."

"Only one way to find out." Roxas says before taking a bite of his food.

Sora sighs and start eating his own food. Ever since he started university and first saw Hayner, he was hooked. "Write him a letter" Selphine quietly says. "That way you know exactly where you stand."

"That would be so embarrassing" Sora whines.

"More embarrassing than dreaming about him all the time." Kairi adds.

"I'll think about it" Sora says. Would it be easier or harder than telling him to his face? Sora spends the rest of their time trying to listen, while he goes over the idea in his head.

"Well I only have one more class today, so maybe I'll catch him before basketball practice." Sora smiles, "See you guys later."

Sora spends his next class thinking about what he wants to write, after class he sits down in the library to write it all out.

Hayner, I was wondering if you- Nope, Sora got out another piece of paper. How am I going to write this, Sora spends a while writing and rewriting until he comes up with – well the best he could do.

"Aww isn't that sweet" The voice of Roxas makes Sora jump,

"What are you doing here."

"You don't think we wouldn't come to support you," Kairi said as she pokes her head around Roxas. "We're your moral support."

"As if I'm not worried enough about this." Sora folds the note up making the paper look like a note. "Alright I think I got this."

Sora stands in the hallway pacing back and forth. I got this he says to himself, looking up the stairs both of his friends sit waiting patiently. Suddenly Sora sees him start to come down the hallway. Sora hides behind a wall, I'm too nervous, what if I mess this is, what if I freak him out, omg I can't breathe. Sora takes deep breaths and tries to calm his mind and racing heart.

After a few moments he's ready. Sora come out from behind the wall and with his hands out the note being faced forward. "Hayner I like you will you go out with me?" he asks. However, Hayner keeps on walking while listening to music totally obvious to the situation.

Sora's face follows Hayner walking away from a moment, he turns to look up, and there standing in front of him was another student. Dressed in black with silver hair. Sora instantly froze, and before he could mutter a word, the letter was taken from his hands and he walked away.

Sora unable to comprehend what just happened stares as he walks off. Oh no! his letter. Roxas and Kairi quickly ran to his side, "what in the world just happened." they watched as he walks off.

"he stole my letter… Hayner's letter." Sora groaned, "what am I going to do now."

"Don't you know who he is?" Roxas says to Sora. "he's a year ahead of us, Riku business and practical art major."

"And he's son of the college president. He leads a group of other guys; they are all trouble."

"I heard in high school him and his group would skip school and cause all types of trouble. Apparently, they are like a gang." Roxas adds in to the conversation. "oh and they call him, the prince of seduction." He raises one his eye brows taunting the nickname.

"what am I going to do?"

"You're screwed." Kairi adds.

"what?" Sora adds, "I'll ask for it back."

"Before or after he's read it?"

"Why would he do that?"

"Maybe he thought it was for him?" Kairi says,

"I'm so screwed." The group all nods before taking off to a local coffee shop.

They all got drinks and take a seat. "Most people don't confess to the wrong person" Kairi says. "So, so stupid." She laughs.

"Kairi"

"She right, you waited too long. He didn't even see or hear you." Roxas adds. "and now Riku has your letter."

Sora crosses his arms in front of him.

Sora walks home in the dark, to the apartment his mom, Tifa and he shares. While heading up the steps in hears a crash, and quickly rases up the stairs. There sat his mom with a bag of food for them. "mom" sora calls. "Are you okay?"

Tifa nods and stands up. She lifts her right hand, where there is a little bit of blood. "Mom you're bleeding." Sora picks up the bag and they head up to the apartment.

Once inside Sora puts the food on the kitchen counter and goes to the bathroom to get Band-Aids. Coming out, he sees him mom sitting at the countertop blowing on the cut. Sora sits down next to her, "it hurts" his mom says whining a bit.

"Here let me see," his mom gives him her hand. Sora cleans the cut and places the Band-Aid. "there all done."

"thank you Sora."

"Mom, how'd you fall down the stairs?"

"I was off in la la land not paying attention to my surroundings."

"Why were off in la la land?" Sora asks.

"Well…. "

"Didn't we promise we wouldn't keep secrets from each other." His mom looks away a little guilty. "Remember after dad died, I wouldn't go to school anymore. It was too hard to return to school, you sat me down- "

"I know, I wanted us to be open and tell me what was going on. But you didn't want to worry me." Tifa smiles

"You told me we only have each other now." Sora says back, "I worry about you, and you worry about me." Sora repeats the saying his mother said back then.

"I wanted to be close to you, sharing all your happiness and sadness forever." Tifa sighs, "you know how to really lay in on there don't you." She sighs, "I didn't mean to do it on purpose, things have been moving so fast."

"Whatever it is, tell me and we can solve it together."

"I've… I've fallen in love with someone."

"what'd you say!?" When did this happen, and how long has this been going on. "Your secret is that you've fallen for someone?"

"Remember last week, when I said I was going out with friends. Well, I lied I was going on a date." Tifa hid her face behind her hands

"I didn't know you were dating. Why didn't you tell me?" Sora asks.

"I don't know."

"when did you meet?"

"he showed up at work," Tifa worked as a waitress at a local restaurant in town. Tifa smiled as she remembered their meeting."

"MOM!" Sora yelled, she quickly pulled herself out of it. "I haven't seen you like this since dad…"

"I haven't felt this way since your father." Sora nods. "Are you mad, against it."

"Well… if he makes you happy mom, is as good as you say, I back you 100 percent." Sora wouldn't have thought this is what going on. His mom was moving on, after years of being by herself taking care of Sora and working this whole time.

"So… can I go out tonight."

"You don't need to ask me mom. Do what you want." Sora adds with a smile of his own.

"Thank you, Sora." She gets up and runs off to her room. "I'm going to text him right now."

Sora sat at the table for a moment before pulling out the food his mom brought home. Food from the restaurant, a regular treat. Sora put food on a plate before reheating it in the microwave. He hasn't seen his mother this happy and excited in a long time.

The next day Sora walks down the hallway, and none other than Riku stands in front of him. Sora squints his face, "wanting something back" he says moving his left hand up to reveal the letter Sora wrote for Hayner.

Sora puts on a smile and slowly walks over to him. "That is my letter, thank you-" he reaches out for the letter, and Riku quickly raises in above his head, Sora's smile fades instantly.

Riku has a devilish look in his eyes, "why thank me? Don't be stupid." He adds looking Sora right in his eyes. Sora felt like he could see right through him, and it kind of scared him. "I wouldn't be here so early just to return this letter." He leaned closer to Sora, "I order you from this day forward to be mine. To be my slave."

Sora gulps while trying to remain his cool, and not think about how his stomach was fluttering, "that's a lame joke Riku; return my letter."

"return it?" he smirks, " I don't think you truly grasp the situation. I'm holding in my hand a letter, a love letter written for Hayner. An embarrassing one at that."

"You read my letter?"

"of course I did," he pulls away Sora's body. "And maybe I made copies of that letter. A thousand of them, and I'll drop them off the roof"

"You wouldn't" Sora's face was red with anger and embarrassment.

"You don't know me that well now do you Sora." His world echoed in his head; a thousand copies being dropped from the roof. Not only would Hayner know, but the whole university would also.

What have I done?

Sora stood in the middle of an empty classroom with Riku and a few of his friends. They quickly surrounded him "Who's this?" Another voice, "Where did you pick him up?"

"This is Sora; he will be anything I ask." Riku smirked looking over at an uncomfortable Sora.

"Anything cool" the red-haired, also tall one says. "I'm Axel by the way, got it memorized?"

"oh, I guess we're introducing ourselves; I'm Seifer, "The one wearing a black beanie says.

"My name is Rai, y'know." A muscularly dark-haired person says. He also looks like the one that could take on a few people and be fine.

This was a lot. Sora thinks to himself. "don't you guys get it." Riku get up grabbing Sora and pulling him in close. "he's mine exclusively. He listens only to me." Riku moves his face back to face sora "That's right isn't it. Obey me or ill reveal the letter."

"Yes" Sora says quickly with a slight blush across his face, "I'm you most loyal servant."

"His slave? Is he crazy?" Roxas says while the group ate lunch.

"I think he's crazy too but I'm so scared of him."

"I've heard those guys are ruthless." Selphine says.

"How come everyone knew of this guy expect me."

"You've been stuck in the Hayner bubble since university started," Kairi says.

"why is this happening to me" Sora exclaiamed.

"Because you're a coward" Kairi says, "so what if he reveals the letter."

"you don't have to be so mean about it"

"I'll get your letter back" Roxas says.

"And how are you going to do that?" Sora asks

"Ill figure something out. Don't worry about a thing. As long as I'm here no one will use you." Roxas thought for a moment, "Ill be like Riku you listen up." Roxas stood up ready to make his speech, if you don't want to die-"

"You'll what?" Roxas instantly went pale in the face, and turned towards Riku. They lock eyes. When did he get there?

"Don't assume everybody is afraid of you. Isn't that right" Sora said looking to Roxas.

"I'm just saying that our Sora becoming you slave is such an honor."

"What?!" that was a complete change. What about getting his letter back.

"In fact, take good care of Sora he's cute and all but not much else is going on up there."

"Roxas!" Sora groaned, traitor.

"Well, isn't that something." Riku smiles and turns to Sora. "Well don't forget your role."

"But" he looks down at his mostly finished food. "Fine." Sora put his plate up, Riku following him along the way.

Once done, Riku grabs on to Soras back and move him out of the lunch room. " no wonder why he's called the prince of seduction." Kairi says as they watch him go. "Poor Sora."

"He's kind of cute." Roxas says.

Riku directs him into his next class, and sits him down. Gives him a computer, and opens up the note app. "I hope you can take food notes." He says into Sora's ear before taking a seat next to him. When the teacher walks in he looks at Sora for a moment, then over to Riku, before starting class. Oh come on, Sora thinks I'm not even supposed to be in here. I got my own class starting soon.

Riku got close to him, "its no use silly, If I want something no one can stop me."

"What do you want?"

"Nothing, it's just fun." He smirks. Sora felt his world crumbling down around him. "I like to see you so frustrated."

Everyday starts to become a blur of getting snacks for the boys. Taking notes in Riku's classes, luckily Sora only misses one class. That class is only a writing class, and worse comes to worse he'll have to drop it.

How do I get rid of his devil? Suddenly Sora is pushed to the ground. "who in the world." He looks up to see a girl with blonde hair standing over him.

"who are you?"

"You pushed me down, who are you?"

"Larxene" she says simply, "what would the prince want with you."

"The prince?" Sora adds. "how many nicknames does this guy have?"

Larxene kicks some chip bags that fell on the floor with Sora. "That's just rude."

"Even if you want to be Prince's toy, you're not that worthy. He will tire of you soon, just like all the other ones."

"Other ones?"

"You think he hasn't taken on others to do what you're doing right now. Being his little slave."

Sora rolled his eyes, "It's not like I even want to be in this situation."

"What?" Larxene

"If that jerk would just return my letter, then I wouldn't be doing all this shit."

"letter?" the girl pauses, "what letter?"

"it's nothing."

Coming up the stairs none other then Hayner sees the two of them, "what's going on you two?" Larxene huffs and walks off. Hayner walks over to where Sora stands surrounded by food. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." He speaks.

"I heard from some students that Riku is having you run errands for him."

"its not like that." Sora says, but at the same time doesn't know how to explain how it actually is without revealing the letter.

"though I don't know the reason behind it, " Hayner says, "if you don't want to do it, you should say so." Sora keeps picking up the food, is he worrying about me? Before Hayner gets down and helps place chips back into their bags. Sora smiles, I must confess to him. If I tell him then I won't have anything to be afraid of.

Sora takes the food right up to Riku. "This isn't going to work anymore I'm going to tell him my feelings."

"you're going to profess your love to the basketball captain?" Riku looks Sora in the eye, "Sure you can do it?"

"I can and I will!" Sora says determined, "so… no more black mailing me."

Riku opens up his food and fowns, "my burger is all smashed." He looks over at Sora angerly.

"I don't care." He starts to walk away, but Axel gets up to block his way.

"Wait a moment."

"Get out of my way." He pushes him to the side. Did I just do that? Sora thinks s he starts to march away.

Larxene is walking over to the group as Sora passes her by. She smiles before going over to Riku. "Prince I bought some homemade cookies, try one?"

"No" Riku says as his eyes follow Sora as he walks away.

"What's wrong with you?" Axel asks. Riku throws his burger to the floor and walks away from the group. "He's in a weird mood" Axel says to Larxene as she watches him walk away.

The next day Sora is waiting in the morning to finally tell Hayner how he feels. When people pass him they start to giggle. At first it was a bit annoying, but it feels like there is some inside joke he wasn't apart of.

Then suddenly from above him a bunch of papers start to fall around him. What? Sora thinks. One lands right in front of him, so he picks it up. Instantly Sora's face turns red, its his letter! Is that what his other class mates were laughing about? Sora looks up to seer Hayner pick up the paper. Oh no! He runs off into the school, only to see it plastered all over the walls as well. A group of students stood there laughing.

Sora feels his world shattering, as embarrassment swallows him whole. Suddenly Hayner is next to him, "Sora" he calls out. "Do you like me?"

Sora can't answer, instead he goes to pull some of the letters off the wall before running off. "Sora." Hayner calls out, but he's already gone. Hayner turns to the letters and starts to rip them down.

Sora runs up the stairs going to an empty classroom that a certain group hangs out in. He ran into the classroom to see them all hanging out, without much of second through Sora ran up and slapped Riku right in the face.

"How could you!"

"What are you doing?" Riku asks with a tint of anger in his voice.

"You released my letter! The whole school had probably seen it by now. Does making fun of me make you happy or something?" Riku stands there quietly as he goes off. "This is sad and pitiful; you never truly liked anybody so you have no regard for other peoples feelings."

Riku looks down at Soras lips before leaning forward towards him, "Listen up, when I want something I get it." Riku says before grabbing sora from behind his neck, forcing him to look into his eyes. "You need to accept that."

Sora pushed the man's hand away from his neck and glared at him. He dropped the letters he carried with him and quickly ran off. Riku stood there was a grin on his face, this is getting more interesting by the day. "Riku, you okay?" Seifer asks.

"Yeah" he simply answered. Before reaching down to pick up the letters Sora dropped, while his words echoes in his head.

Sora runs down the hall while Riku's words echo in his head. He stopped and leaned against a wall. His emotions where all over the place. He placed his hand on his neck as a slight blush crosses his face, what has his life become.

Sora sits at Café table, his mom comes up from behind with drinks. "your so chipper anymore mom."

"Well, there's a lot to be happy about. I can't help myself" She says back with a smile on her face. "I didn't think he would ask so quickly."

"Quickly?" Sora asks.

"I'm engaged" she says.
