Rgr "Alright Sonic and Sonic, so that was Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken. Thoughts?"

J "It wasn't too bad actually, despite the trailers giving away so much. It was the first original Idea in years, so pretty good at best."

Ryn "Eh… it was fine."

J "Of course Animation hater here is gonna be hating on it!"

Ryn "Look, I dunno what you want from me, I liked the animation, but most of it was boring and forgettable, you said it yourself, Universal did not give a fuck about this."

Rgr "You aren't wrong there, some parts of the story were a bit too quick, like Ruby meeting her Grandmother."

J "Grandmamah technically, It goes up on the second ma."

Ryn "Don't tell me you liked that line, I thought that was the shittiest line in the history of lines!"

J "I can tell you what I mostly loved about the film is the relationship development between Ruby and her mother, Agatha."

Ryn "Dude, that was the whole fucking point of this film! Like Turning Red but everything else was just in their shadow!"

J "At least Agatha wasn't a Bitchy Karen."

Rgr "Ha! Nice."

J "Besides not everything was bad, like the wonders of the Seas."

Rgr "The animation was more colorful Underwater than on land, and this is coming from a guy who hates water."

Ryn/J "Facts!"

J "And what about the rest of Ruby's family?"

Rgr "I did like Sam, he was legit, being a ball and bouncing around, sounds "Familiar." Arthur on the other hand... I almost feel bad for him, the guy could've been more than just live streaming making ships in bottles and hiding in the background supporting."

J "My favorite's Nessie, adorable, and a good companion for Ruby and the family, even if he had little screen time."

Ryn "He just reminds you of that Chocolate loving fairy living inside that bracelet of yours, doesn't it?"

J "Leave Chip Outta This!"

Ryn "In fact, he looks more like he's part of a certain alien race that gives you ass looking abilities."

Rgr "Will You Stop Hating On Colors for 5 Minutes?!"

Ryn "My bad, I was expecting you to defend Lost World and that Inferior wisp racing game."

Rgr "At least Colors had better moments with the Wisps than those 2 games put together."

Ryn "Ha! So you admit it, those games suck!"

Rgr "Oh Screw you!"

J "Ok, now we're getting off topic."

Ryn "So yeah. Like Sonic said, Arthur was underused, but hey, at least he wasn't being filter."

Rgr "You mean Uncle Brill, don't you?"

Ryn "Damn right! That fatass was so annoying, I felt sorry for Agatha when they reunited."

J "Hold on, Brill was pretty funny and had his moments. I loved the scene when he encouraged Ruby before the final battle."

Ryn "Even so, nothing is gonna make me like him whatsoever.

Rgr "Then how come we heard crying coming from you when he got a hug from Grandma and Agatha after 15 Years?"

J "Tell him, Sonic! And don't forget the second Ma."

Ryn "Ok I'll admit, that's the only redeeming thing from him, at least he wasn't a human."

J "Now what did you mean by that?"

Ryn "Are You Fucking Serious?! Look At Them! Those Humans Will Give Me Nightmares!"

J "Even Ruby's friends?"

Ryn "Especially Ruby's Friends!!!"

Rgr "I'm actually on board with Sonic, Most of the Humans were annoying as Fuck, and don't get me started on the designs, they were like the Madagascar humans, but in bad beta forms, especially that Connor kid."

Ryn "Exactly! And I laughed so hard about how that Squidward ass looking boy is who Ruby has a crush on."

J "Alright, the Humans weren't perfect, but Captain Gordon Lighthouse deserves some praise."

Rgr "Ok, he had some funny moments too, his design was nearly perfect. "Nearly" and his bond with that crab was decent, but in all honesty, I can take the Kraken designs more than the humans any day."

J "Speaking of Krakens, was I the only one who had Unleashed vibes when Ruby became Giant?"

Ryn "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of Unleashed Vibes with Werehog Boy."

J "Shut the fuck up, Sonic!"

Rgr "The scenes with the Giant Krakens were pretty sick, those were the good things about this film in my opinion. The downside is that there wasn't anymore, by what Grandma says, most of them were killed by mermaids."

J "Grandmamah."

Rgr "Whatever, but now mentioning it, how about the Villain guys?"

J "Chelsea was amazing, she carried most of the film, and almost like a perfect friend for Ruby."

Ryn "Yeah, and the twist completely ruined her character, pretending to be the daughter of Tyrannical Queen, who was her the whole time? I mean who's the dumbass who thought of that part?!"

Rgr "True, and the fight with what's her name and Agatha her mother just had to cut out to where Ruby was trapped under all those rocks. When it was her turn to battle, it was kind of embarrassing."

B "And in the end they just decide to shoot the trident and the Mermaid just let them? I watched better Kaiju fights than that!"

Rgr "Oh hey Sonic, wasn't expecting you to come back, so what did you think of Ruby Gillman?"

B "Well the way I see it, DreamWorks just copied and pasted from my first masterpiece of a film."

J "How the fuck is this just like your film?!"

B "Oh where do I start? The main character secretly lives among humans? Caused a panic from one little conflict? Goes on a mission to make things better? Has a final battle, while exposing themself? And in the end gets accepted in their home as their true self? My version was way better."

Ryn "See what I mean? Not to mention it was supposed to make fun of Disney, but in the end made fun of itself."

Rgr "So overall, it's not a Masterpiece, but not the Worst film."

Ryn "Still prefer Turning Red, but I guess."

B "Agreed."

J "Well I believe it's only hated unfairly cuz it was released after Puss In Boots 2, you should've seen it when everyone was complaining about it."

Ryn "You actually have a point, that film was overhyped and had its flaws, despite it doing so well."

B "You know looking at the concepts of Ruby G, Most of it had better designs, settings, and so much potential than the final."

J "Exactly, If this was put in the oven a little longer, plus not giving away so much in the trailers, it could've been the next Madagascar and How to Train your Dragon, I really hope future stories can make up for it."

Ryn "Due to the Box office record, that seems very unlikely."

Rgr "To be fair, it wasn't originally meant to be released in theaters in the first place, and when it was, Universal just treated it like garbage, so maybe a series could be an apology for it, and perhaps it can slowly lead to a sequel, of course this is a lot to ask, but it doesn't hurt to be a bit optimistic."

J "Besides, Trolls 2 flopped and that got a third film, and I don't even like Trolls!"
