Ever since their first battle, Tommy and Kimberly had been talking about whether or not to tell the teens that they were rangers. They had always kept their identities as power rangers a secret since Zordon asked them not to reveal their secret. And Bulk and Skull tried to find out who they were. Tommy had no doubt that Devon and Cassidy would try to do the same thing to Kira, Ethan, and Conner.
"Tommy, we need to be honest with them," Kimberly advised as she picked up a letter from her mail box in the teachers lounge."I want them to feel comfortable with us."
"You are right," Tommy agreed when Kimberly opened the letter.
"Oh, No!" Kimberly gasped as she looked over the letter. "I have been evicted from my apartment and I only have 24 hours to get out. What am I going to do now?"
"You can move in with me," Tommy suggested. "I know you weren't going to do it until we were married. But, I am not about to let you go homeless. You can sleep in one of the guest rooms and we can share expenses."
It took a few hours to get everything moved out. Tommy was relieved that she just had a three room apartment. And it also was big relief that they didn't have to haul furniture. Kimberly had already said that she was selling what little furniture she had once they were married. When they got everything moved out, it was past supper time. Both of them were too tired to cook. So, they decided to just order a pizza. Anytime they ordered pizza, they always got half pepperoni and half sausage. And you better believe they got extra cheese. Pizza was always a meal that always gave them a sense of togetherness.
Just as they were finshing up their pizza, Kimberly's cellphone rang. She pulled it out of her purse and looked at the number. It was her landlord.
"Hello," Kimberly answered.
"Ms. Hart, this is Mr. Peters," said the landlord. "I sent you message asking you to leave your apartment. I got a complaint about you raising poisonous snakes in your appartment. You know I don't allow pets in the apartment. Have you moved out?"
"Yes, I have," Kimberly answered. "But, I never-"
"-I don't want to hear any excuses," Mr. Peters interrupted. "Good bye!"
Mr. Peters slammed his phone down. Kimberly walked into the living room and took a seat on the couch. Tommy walked in and took a seat next to her.
"Tommy, I hate snakes," Kimberly declared as he put an arm around her. "I have hated them since I was in Junior High. Bulk and Skull released one in a science lab and it started to slither up my leg."
"I know you would never do something like that," Tommy assured her. "I wonder who would tell something like that about you."
"Kim, you were right about telling Kira, Ethan, and Conner about our ranger history," Tommy said as they took a seat in the love seat. "I've made a video diary of the power ranger history."
"Is that why you haven't gone to bed yet?" Kimberly asked.
"Yes," he admitted. "I just have so much on my mind."
"I know what you mean," Kimberly said. "I couldn't sleep, so I left my room to come watch TV."
Tommy pulled the lever and the foot rest came out. They both leaned back and back of the love seat went down. Kimberly let out a yawn as she started to drift off to sleep.
"Good night, Beautiful," Tommy whispered as he kissed the top of her head.
Tommy rolled over on his side and spooned Kimberly up in his arms. She was so beautiful when she slept. He figured that she would be having trouble sleeping tonight. He stretched out as he started to fall asleep too.
"Ms. Hart, are you aware that someone who lived in our apartment got evicted?" Randall asked as she started to smirk. "There were rumors that they were raising poisionus snakes and one was even found outside the apartment. I wanted everyone to feel safe and I called the landlord."
"It was you!?" Kimberly gasped in horror. "I am the one who got evicted and I wouldn't ever bring snakes around anyone."
"Oh, I had no idea it was you-"
"-yes, you did!" Tommy hissed as he glared at her with anger. "I have known Kimberly since high school and she would never do anything like that. She is scared of snakes, just so you know. If you know what is good for you, you will leave her alone!"
"I didn't mean to enrage you," Randall remarked as she took hold of Tommy's hand. But, Tommy stepped on her foot as hard as he could. "And there was no need for that."
"Yes, there was!" Tommy yelled as his face turned three shades of red. "Have you already forgotten that I am engaged to Kimberly? I don't want you trying to flirt with me. Go find someone else to date."
"Relax, Dr. Oliver," Randall said in a calm voice. "Does Ms. Hart have a place to stay or is she sleeping in box outside?"
"I'm staying in One of Tommy's guest rooms," Kimberly quickly said as she took hold of Tommy's hand.
"It's nice to know that Dr. Oliver came to your rescue-"
"-and I always will!" Tommy interrupted as Randall walked past them and headed to her office.
Author's note:
I thought there needed to be more moments where Randall tried to Flirt with Tommy. And I think getting Kimberly kicked out of the apartment was something Randall would do.
