Denial and then Acceptance

Reincarnation, a concept where the physical body dies their soul lives on in a new physical form. Some say it's fake, some say it's real, and some just are uncertain if it is true or false.

In the case of Akatsuki Hiroto, this five year old Japanese boy, can most certainly confirm this concept is very much real. Because one day, he woke up with oddly familiar memories flashing before his eyes.

Memories of having a different face, in a different home, and with a different family.

"How is this possible?" Hiro wonders to himself, inspecting the somewhat familiar reflection on the bathroom mirror.

The reincarnated looks at the black haired blue eyed boy in front of him.

'This… Was certainly not my face before, but it's the one I grew up with during the five years of my new life…' Hiro sighs, pinching his own cheeks. His memories are a bit scrambled, but he certainly remembers how he has grown so far. Although not perfectly from when he was a baby again in this new life.

What happened before he died? Hiro closes his eyes, trying to remember but nothing appears.

It's a bit difficult to remember, the only thing he recalled was his previous age before death, he was twenty-three years old… That's very young, so he got into an accident?

"Ow." Hiro mutters, feeling a sudden migraine, unable to remember his death.

Maybe he forgot how he died due to trauma?

Hiro shakes his head. That doesn't matter right now, he has to look forward…

Hiroto sits on his bed, looking at his room, a typical messy room for a five year old boy to sleep in. The reincarnate sighs and lays on his bed, staring at the ceiling, slowly remembering how he grew up. He's an only child, his father and mother love him dearly and they are happy. Maybe they are all not as well off as other families but good enough, they are happy in spite of it.

Hiro smiles at the memories of his family. Masato Akatsuki, or rather, Akatsuki Masato, his father, with darker blue eyes and brown hair, is a kind and patient man, eager to teach his son what he knows like every good father.

Akatsuki Akari, a woman with black hair like her son and violet eyes. Like her husband, she is just as loving and patient. Sometimes Hiro wonders if they were competing on who loves each other the most, even Hiro 'competed' in his own way.

While he doesn't know why he has some of his memories, he can certainly use this to his advantage to help him and the people he cares for.

Playing games, toys, drawing and many more things kids typically do at this age. One hand, it feels a bit childish, on the other hand, it's really nice and relaxing. To play and have fun with little to no care or stress with the world. Hiro can vaguely recall his old life when he was an adult, having hobbies like watching anime and playing video games but also the feeling of fatigue of having a job. Now in his new life, Hiro can enjoy having a childhood again.

Although, it seems he reincarnated into the past somehow… The internet doesn't exist or isn't common here. People here use actual old flip phones and touch screen smart phones don't exist yet.

Strange but he isn't going to think too hard on it.

Hiro smiles, walking through the hall with the other boys, ready to play kickball for recess. Some begin to run seeing the entrance and exit lockers containing their outdoor shoes. Hiro lightly jogs behind them, he passes by a girl with long dark brown hair.

"No running in the halls!" The girl squeaks as Hiro continues to jog, ignoring the strict girl.

Strange, why did her yelling seem familiar? Hiro glances back and shrugs, running outside. Maybe he just has a memory of a rule abiding kid before.

It's been eight years since Hiro 'awakened' to his new life, his new body is thirteen years old. School has been a breeze thanks to twenty years worth of knowledge and wisdom, however, language and history was an issue for him. Because he mostly remembered English, and American History, so he was likely an American in his previous life. Plus, Japanese writing is hard…

Not only that but due to the mental age gap, Hiro has accidentally segregated himself from most kids, others only talked to him for a school project, or simple things, but never really strikes a conversation. In fact, Hiro was mentally too old to enjoy most things a kid would like, so he was more or less stuck with kiddy stuff until he was older and couldn't bring himself to enjoy it like everyone else. His parents found it odd but figured their son was just a bit more mature than most kids his age. They just patted his head saying. "Our son is just an early bloomer."

But that was then, right now it's summer and the sun is feeling particularly brutaltoday. So the Akatsuki family went to the local pool to cool off, like many other families did.

Hiro took a break from swimming with his dad, he buys some vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup in a cone and walks over to the table and chair his family miraculously managed to occupy before anyone else.

The reincarnated 'young' teen moves over but a group of five year olds suddenly rush past him, bumping into him. Hiro's hand shakes holding the cone, but he fails as the ice cream falls out leaving only the cone.

Damn it.

Hiro sighs, eating the cone and the melted ice cream inside of it. He looks at the sweet cold treat he lost, melting on the ground near the pool, he should get some napkins.

He turns, but stops, seeing a girl, a few years younger than his physical age, with brown hair and gold brown eyes, carrying a small floaty.

For some reason, the girl seems familiar…

Hiro gasps seeing the girl slip on the ice cream with a yelp.

He moves, wrapping his arms around her small back, grasping her shoulder, and his other hand, grasping her lower back.

"Um, are you okay?" Hiro asks, staring directly at the oddly familiar girl. He feels like he has seen her before, maybe at school?

The girl turns pink, likely embarrassed from being in the arms of a stranger, she nods. "Y-yeah, I'm okay, thank you, I can stand up." Hiro nods, he moves to gently lift the girl's back straight up.

"What are you doing with my sister?!" A boy yells, and Hiro turns to see an extremely familiar messy orange haired boy around his physical age running towards him, his green shirt drenched in sweat. The reincarnate is having trouble figuring out if the boy's face is red from the heat or he is being protective of his sister due to seeing the awkward embrace.

The girl in Hiro's arms stands up quickly. "Rito wait!" She says.

What.

Hiro's jaw drops as old memories flood through his mind. Memories of reading a manga series in private when he was truly fourteen in his old life. A very ecchi manga he secretly read…

It can't be…

"I slipped and he caught me before I hit the floor, he wasn't doing anything indecent." The girl explains, vouching for Hiro's innocence.

"O-oh." Rito says, rubbing the back of his head and he bows to Hiro. "Thanks for catching my sister."

Hiro stiffly nods. "Y-yeah, no problem, be careful next time, h-have a good d-day." He says with a bow and walks away, barely processing the mind shattering realization. The reincarnate goes into the pool, pretending to swim away, only to circle back nearby, leaning against the wall, eavesdropping on the siblings.

"Mikan don't get separated from me. I searched so hard for you. You're lucky that guy didn't have any terrible intentions with you, what if he was a bad guy?" Rito lectures in between his breaths.

Mikan giggles "There's no way, you exaggerate too much Rito." She says, shrugging off the warning. Hiro sighs at such a carefree remark, he heard it so many times from other kids in class…

"I'm not exaggerating! There are many scary people in the world."

"That's a lot of sweat… You were worried about me that much~~~?"

"I-Idiot! I… It's because I swam in the pool!"

"Sure~"

Hiro takes a deep breath and swims back towards his parents, he glances back at the two siblings walking away together. Their appearances, their behavior… It's official…

He somehow reincarnated into the world of To Love-Ru…

Hiro wrote everything he could remember into his notebook, but it's been a very long time since he read the manga, his memory is a bit faulty. He exercised as hard as he could, mainly cardio, in case he needed to run, a lot. Mom and Dad were very supportive of him working out more than normal and even helped coach him.

He's now physically fifteen years old and is attending Sainan High… Hiro pondered about attending a different school but this high school is more convenient, not too far away from home and well, his parents aren't exactly filled with yen… Besides, there is at least one out of three chances of him ending up in the chaotic class.

Hiro enters his class, 1-A, crossing his fingers, he unintentionally holds his breath, entering the classroom. Hiro freezes seeing a pretty and demure looking blue haired girl.

No…

The reincarnate looks around, silently panicking.

Okay maybe- FUCK

Hiro exhales, quietly moaning and collapses on a nearby chair, seeing Yuuki Rito, the Protagonist, entering the class, staring at his crush, Sairenji Haruna, like a deer in headlights.

Later on, the class takes their assigned seats and-

Why is he seated right behind Haruna?!

Hiro's days at school were fine, normal, sort of. He kept to himself, remaining curt and stiffly polite to people, like picking up pencils for a student who dropped them. Trying to enjoy these peaceful 'normal' days before Hurricane Lala comes to Earth and begins the main plot of the Ecchi series.

Some days, the reincarnate would find Rito stalking Haruna at school, unable to gain the courage to confess his feelings. When he goes grocery shopping, with and or for his parents, he would find either Rito or Mikan or both, shopping as well. Hiro never dared to approach them, afraid about messing up the general timeline.

Hopefully Mikan's slip at the pool didn't mess too much of the timeline…

But maybe it did.

Hiro sighs, shaking his head, removing the nagging thoughts. It's not his responsibility.

As long as he avoids the plot, everything should end up okay and Rito will end up with a happy big harem as the King of the Galaxy like the manga implied before it was discontinued.

Right?

Hiro, writes down the lesson into his notes as the old sensei lectures. He glances at Rito, dozing off in his seat. Now that he thinks about it earlier, the guy seemed tired, lost in thought. Hiro frowns at the implications of Rito's current state and focuses on the lecture, mentally praying he is wrong.

"IT'S NOT LIKE THAAAAAAT!" Rito suddenly roars.

Hiro frowns deeply because Rito's scream and odd behavior this morning confirms it.

The Main Heroine, Lala, is here…

It's lunch break. Hiro remains in his seat, opening his bento box.

"RITO!" Saruyama Kenichi, Rito's best friend, suddenly yells. "H-hey, What's going on?! A really pretty girl is looking for YOU!"

Rito's eyes widen and he runs out of the classroom. Meanwhile…

"Itadakimasu..." Hiro mutters "Time to enjoy my last peaceful meal."

The reincarnate eats his meal silently, ignoring the loud noises of the jealous teenagers chasing Rito and Lala down below.

Surprisingly, it took at least two days for Lala to officially join the school. Rito was certainly surprised to see Lala, considering how he screamed her name. Later in the day, Haruna was requested by Sensei to give Lala a tour, and Rito follows them.

Meanwhile, all the boys and girls gossip.

"She's so pretty!"

"I'm so jealous of Rito!"

Hiro does his best to ignore the gossip of the Alien Princess, reviewing the notes of events that are likely to happen in the future.

Haruna might become a hostage for an alien pursuing Lala.

Alien is secretly a weakling

The reincarnate shrugs, Rito will find her and save her, the alien is a weakling afterall.

Hiro frowns at the blurry memory of the chapter and shakes his head, ignoring the nagging feeling that something is wrong about his decision.

Next day, nothing has happened yet, the boys in the class are having P.E. Hiro had some fun playing soccer with Rito, taking his mind off of the situation for a bit.

The reincarnate takes a break on the nearby bench, observing everyone. He glances at the girls, seeing Lala break the one hundred meter run record. Hiro frowns seeing Sasuga-Sensei, looking-no, he's clearly leering at Lala. Sensei never did that before, he was always respectful and combined with his good looks it's what made him so popular with the girls. It also made many of the boys in this school jealous of the good looking sensei.

While Lala is exotic and pretty, it is odd to see the Sensei like this…

Could the Sasuga be secretly the alien that kidnaps Haruna?

The school bell rings, ending the current period.

Hiro changes into the school uniform like all the other guys in class, frowning. Recalling the 'Sensei' approaching Haruna, who nodded to his request and followed the sensei towards the supply room. Hiro recalls his past memories of the manga, vaguely remembering Haruna trapped in some metallic looking tentacles.

'Don't think about it…'

He recalls the tentacles moving lewdly over the teenage girl's body, along with many mental images of the girls being trapped or held hostage in the manga.

"Fuuuck…" Hiro swears under his breath, the sensation of guilt weighing heavily over his chest, and he grabs his school bag.

"What's wrong Akatsuki-san?" A nearby guy asks, hearing Hiro swear.

"I just remembered that I forgot something outside, I gotta go!" Hiro says, leaving the locker room with his bag, not waiting to hear anyone's response.

Ghi Bree leers at the nice figure Haruna has. "Now that I think about it, she's just as good as Lala…" The alien says out loud, raising the device.

Wonder how she would look if he did this-

Bam!

The door slams open, giving Ghi a heart attack.

"HEY! What the hell is going on here!" A guy yells.

Just follow the plan.

"Hmm you're… Not Yuuki?" the Alien says, glancing back in slight surprise of the black haired male student. "Who are you?" Where's Rito, who the hell is this guy?

"ORYAAAH!" Rito roars entering the supply room right on cue. "Sa…Sasuga! And… Akatsuki-san?" He says, surprised to see the latter.

"Our 'Sensei' was acting strange today, looking at the new girl and Sairenji-san in a creepy way…" Hiro explains. "I had a bad feeling and went to check." He says glaring at Ghi Bree.

Ghi Bree sweats at the glare.

Those blue eyes look scary! No no! Calm down… Even though there are two guys, all he has to do is transform to his scariest looking form and intimidate them, it should be easy.

Rito's eyes widen seeing Haruna's current state. "Bastard, what the heck are you doing?!" Rito yells, moving to Haruna.

"HAH!" Ghi Bree transforms. "Don't be so careless and get too close… If you plan on rescuing her unscathed." The mimicry extends his tongue out, purposely looking creepy to intimidate the two boys. Rito and Akatsuki's jaws drop at his appearance. Good, they're scared. "You earthlings value your own race don't you? Kee hee hee hee…"

"Y… You are an alien!" Rito blurts out.

"Alien? What happened to the real sensei?" The black haired guy asks.

"Yes, I'm a mimicry, as for the sensei, he's fine, just a little sick, I just borrowed that handsome guy's form. It's a lot of work to disguise myself in human form." Ghi Bree explains, truthfully it was also nice to have such pretty and curvaceous girls around him acting as that guy. When he becomes Emperor, he'll take all the sexy girls in this school and make them join his harem.

"My name is Ghi Bree. Yuuki Rito, I ask you to stop courting Lala. It is I who will marry Lala and become the Successor of King Deviluke. It will never be you. If you don't won't accept these terms, I won't return this girl to you. Thought that would work just as well. Ku ku ku…" Cause he wouldn't mind having some fun with this girl too…

"What the fuck am I doing?!" Hiro mentally yells.

He's messing with canon by being here, even if he isn't doing anything, he knows the butterfly effect can be a bitch! Before Rito arrived, he was just making sure the alien hadn't done anything horrible to Haruna, next thing he knew, he barged in there when the guy was about to press a button on that remote controlling those mechanical binds.

The reincarnate clenches the pepper spray tightly in his hand. He bought this a long time ago in case of an emergency he ends up in the future. With this, if he is wrong about this alien being a weakling, this spray could buy them all some time for Lala to take this guy out.

Hiro glances back at Rito, who stands there indecisively.

Pi

The alien presses something in his hands and Haruna's shirt is torn open exposing chest with only her bra covering her breasts.

"Ah!" Rito yelps, face turning red and even Hiro blushes a little.

'Damn these hormones!' Hiro mentally yells.

"Kee hee hee… I'll be a little bit more extreme next. Now say it! Say you'll withdraw from courting Lala!" Ghi Bree commands.

Hiro frowns, this bastard…

"Y-You… You want to marry Lala that much?" Rito mutters out loud.

"Huh?"

Hiro sees Rito's hand clench into a fist. "Using an innocent girl as your hostage and making her experience something so awful. Do you think Lala will fall for you like that?" The reincarnate barely stops his smile, seeing Rito's courage and anger rise in spite of his fear.

Ghi Bree chuckles. "Aren't you misunderstanding something? Lala and I are getting married. I've decided so. Lala's personality is indeed that of a child, but she really has my favorite humanoid shape. Plus if I marry her, then the entire galaxy ruled by King Deviluke will be mine. How can I let this chance pass?" He says.

Hiro sighs, shaking his head. Weak or not, no way would Lala's father ever approve of Ghi Bree, even if he did succeed in 'courting' Lala with this scheme, the entire army of Deviluke would obliterate this creep. Also, Lala could probably break this guy into two with a single angry slap.

"Besides, I can always train her to develop a personality I like." Hiro's eye twitches at Ghi Bree's words. He forgot how horrible this guy was in the manga.

Rito's body slightly trembles. "So both Lala and Haruna-chan… Are like tools for you…"

"Ha ha! If you say it like that, then it sounds like I'm the bad guy."

Hiro scowls at the casual shrug at Rito's point. No shit he's the bad guy! Harassing a girl and taking her hostage?! It's a no brainer!

"YEAH YOU'RE THE WORST!" Rito yells.

"Well said." Hiro nods, glaring back at the alien and smirks for a second seeing Ghi flinch.

"Rito-" A feminine voice says and the door opens behind Rito.

Lala appears glomping Rito from behind with a wide smile. "I finally found you! Why are you hiding in such a place?" The Alien Princess asks, hugging Rito tightly, pushing out the air in his lungs. "Huh? Ghi Bree?!" Lala let's Rito go and the protagonist takes deep breaths from the air crushing hug. "Why is he- Haruna!" Lala gasps. "What are you doing to Haruna?!"

"Lala… you are mine." Ghi declares.

"Nyaaaah!" Lala pulls her eye and sticks her tongue out. "I told you that I hate you so many times! Anyway let Haruna go NOW! She's a close friend of mine!" Lala demands.

"Shut up…" Ghi Bree growls and his body transforms becoming larger and muscular. "If you reject me! Everyone will experience the hell of Ghi Bree-sama's true form!"

Hiro flinches and steps back from the appearance of the alien's form. It seems so real… Is he wrong?

"Lala… This will be the last time I ask you nicely. Marry me. Otherwise everyone here will experience hell, including yourself."

"Wha?! You dare threaten Lala-sama?!" Peke yells out from Lala's head.

The alien chuckles. "It's easier that way." Ghi Bree's hand reaches out to Haruna. "I'm warning you, don't even think of doing anything stupid with your inventions." Ghi Bri's large hand grasps Haruna's entire torso.

"If I see you attempting, your friend will-"

"Haruna!" Lala yells, having a… Tantrum?!. Hiro's eyebrow quirks up at the childish behavior. "Hey! What are you doing that for, Ghi Bree?! Haruna isn't involved in this, is she?! That's why I don't-

Rito's arm appears in front of Lala, stopping her rant. "Keep your hands off her." Rito growls. Hiro's eyes widened, he didn't think Rito, the kind guy, could actually growl.

"Rito?" Lala mutters.

Rito glares at Ghi Bree, his anger clearly overriding his fear. "I'll… Send him flying!"

"H-hey. hey. Are you really gonna fight me? I'm warning you, I now possess a hundred times more power than any earthling! Are… Are you sure?"

Hiro sighs, now it's clear as daylight to the reincarnate, that Ghi Bree is actually weak.

"Th-then! How about this?!" Ghi yells and his body becomes slightly larger with more spikes on his back. "How is this? Ghi Bree-sama's Super Serious Mode! You wouldn't dare fight me like this!"

Hiro rolls his eyes at the stupid bluff, Ghi's previous 'real' form was bigger than a human, if Ghi's strength matched his form, he wouldn't need to go into 'Super Serious Mode'. A real tough monster wouldn't stutter and would have shown off his capable strength like crushing the locker next to him or something. But no, Ghi is just flexing with fake muscles…

"Lala, Akatsuki-san." Rito whispers, Lala and Hiro perk attentively at Rito.

'I'll distract him. Run with Harun- I mean Sairenji-san!"

"Wait." Hiro interrupts, grabbing the tennis racket nearby and hands it to Rito. "Better to have a weapon at least." This could also make Ghi even more scared.

"Thanks." Rito nods and faces the alien. The protagonist roars, charging, raising the racket ready to swing with all of his might with Hiro close behind, ready to pepper spray the alien in case he was wrong.

"Huh?! S-Seriously?!"

"RAAAAAGHHH!" Rito yells, preparing to swing right at Ghi's face-

"HIEEE I'M SORRY!" Ghi screeches in fear with his hands up, cowering before Rito.

Rito stops mid swing, pausing at the sudden yelp from the Mimicry alien. "What… What did you say?" Rito asks, incredulously. Meanwhile Hiro grabs a tennis ball.

"Eh?" Ghi stutters and straightens his posture. "I-I said I won't forgive you even if you apologize- OW!" Ghi yells as a tennis ball slams into face.

"Bullseye." Hiro mutters.

Ghi steps on a tennis ball and falls on the back of his head. He rolls on the floor back and forth like a child, crying in pain. "I'm gonna die!"

Hiro scoffs.

Ghi slams into the locker, causing the boxes to fall on top of him and body changes again, shrinking, groaning in pain. Hiro and Lala walk over to observe Ghi's new form.

"Wh-what is he?!" Rito says out loud.

"Is that the real form of Ghi Bree?" Lala wonders.

"Ah! He must be a Balkean! Despite having excellent mimicry abilities, their body power is extremely delicate." Peke explains.

"I see." Lala mutters.

"So their species evolved to have great capabilities to transform to make up for their extreme lack of strength." Hiro guesses.

"Indeed!" Peke confirms.

"So… He was just bluffing?" Rito gasps.

Like canon, Lala shoved Ghi into a toilet portal, Rito gets overloaded holding his crush as Lala frees Haruna and puts the machine into the toilet as well. Meanwhile Hiro was just keeping an eye out for anyone coming to the supply room, feeling a bit out of place, looking away from Haruna respectfully.

Rito, not being able to handle seeing Haruna in such a state, stumbled out of the room, accidentally looking cool by saying "Besides, I didn't really do anything special…"

Rito closes the door, now leaving Hiro, Lala and Haruna in the room alone.

"I don't think so at all…" Lala mutters, staring at the door, lost in thought.

"Lala-sama, Sairenji-san's clothes have been repaired." Peke announces.

"Good job Peke!" Lala cheers and Hiro finally turns around, no longer feeling like a creep around Haruna.

"Um… Deviluke-san." Hiro says and Lala gasps.

"Oh, I almost forgot about you! Thanks for helping Rito." Lala says with a smile.

Hiro nervously shrugs, feeling his cheeks become warm from Lala's bright smile, "It's not like I was needed." Which is true, things went the same way as the manga, Rito scared the alien and got him to knock himself out.

"Yeah, but I know you were ready to help Rito fight with that little thing in your hands, what is that anyway?" Lala points out.

The reincarnate pulls out the small tool in his pocket. "It's a pepper spray, it's a self defense tool used to blind and sting someone's eyes. I figured I could try and spray the alien to give us all a good chance of escaping." Hiro explains, letting Lala inspect the spray

"Such a simple neat gadget to carry." Lala says handing it back and Hiro nods in agreement.

"Um… Are you not from this planet?" Hiro asks, pretending to be ignorant of the situation.

"Oh! Uh oops, yeah, I am, but please keep it a secret. Tee hee~." Lala says with a finger over her lips and winking.

Hiro closes his eyes and nods. "Well, later, can you, Rito and I talk about what's going on later? I want to know what's going on."

"Sure thing-Oh! What's your name?" Lala asks. Hiro can't blame her since her focus was on Rito and Haruna but he feels a bit hurt for some reason.

"My name is Akatsuki Hiroto, but… Hiro is fine." He says bowing politely.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Lala Deviluke, you can just call me Lala!" The Princess says, suddenly shaking Hiro's hand. Unlike Rito, Hiro remains calm.

"And I am Peke, Lala-sama's costume robot." Peke greeting itself.

Later, Lala carries Haruna to the nurse's office and Hiro returns to his table, enjoying his meal. But while he eats, he sees Rito still a little red from the experience, the protagonist turns to see Hiro, who nods.

The orange haired teen nods back, mouthing. 'Thanks.'

The school ends, Hiro and Rito wait at the roof, waiting for Lala who for some reason is taking a while.

"Um… Akatsuki-san." Rito says, getting Hiro's attention. "Are you the guy who caught my sister at the pool a few years ago?"

Hiro nods "I think so." Frankly, Hiro is a bit surprised that Rito remembers. "Your sister has dark brown hair?"

"Yep, thanks again for catching her and sorry for acting hostile." Rito apologizes with a bow.

"It's no problem, the slip was partially my fault, it was my ice cream that I dropped when a bunch of kids bumped into me and I would probably feel the same if I saw my sister in the arms of some stranger." Hiro says.

"Okay."

The rooftop doors open with Lala walking through, smiling. "Hello~! Sorry I'm late, it was hard to lose all those guys talking to me." Figures, Lala must have been pursued by a lot of single teenage guys.

"No problem." Hiro says. "So… Can you both please answer and explain what's going on?"

The two spent their time answering Hiro's questions, confirming details that match the reincarnate's knowledge and getting 'in the loop'.

"What! Papa threatened to blow up the planet?!" Lala yells. "I'm going to talk to him!" She says raising her phone.

"It's fine Lala!" Rito says, trying to placate her. Even Hiro sweats a little picturing Gid getting irritated for Rito basically tattle tailing the Emperor.

"... Fine." Lala pouts.

"So that's the situation huh…" Hiro deduces.

"Yep…" Rito groans.

'Mhm~! I love Rito and I will kick those dumb mean suitors out of Earth like I did with Ghi Bree!" Lala declares, hugging Rito, unintentionally placing the teen's face into her well endowed chest.

"MMM!" Rito murmurs, trying to get out of the soft but suffocating trap, unable to escape Lala's incredible strength.

"Uh… Lala, I think Rito needs to breathe." Hiro points out.

"Oops~ sorry!" Lala says letting Rito finally get oxygen into his lungs.

Hiro walks over to the two, pulling out his phone. "Here, let's exchange numbers."

"Huh, how come?" Rito asks, pulling out his phone.

"To call each other if another Alien suitor seeks out Lala and hurts people, we could help each other." Hiro answers, showing his phone number to the Protagonist.

"Why do you want to help?"

Hiro sighs. "Well, this whole situation seems a lot for a single fifteen year old guy to handle by himself." Rito's eyes become wet and he nods, appreciating the fact that Hiro can understand some of Rito's plight.

"It just feels wrong to leave you alone with this stressful situation. Not that Lala wouldn't do anything to help but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have an extra hand at this stuff if something like this happens again."

Rito smiles, looking relieved, maybe due to the idea of having another guy to confide with can help with his sanity since his sister would likely tease him about the marriage stuff. "Thank you." He says exchanging numbers with Hiroto.

"No problem, if you need anything, even just to talk or have an ear to listen to, just give me a call or text." Hiro offers.

"Alright, thanks again Akatsuki-san."

"No need to be so formal Yuuki-san, just call me Hiro."

"As long as you just call me Rito then." The Protagonist says extending his open hand.

"Okay then Rito." Hiro replies with a small smile, and they both shake hands.

"Ya! A new friend!" Lala cheers, lifting the mood, Hiro and Rito both smile wider.

The two leave the school as the sunsets.

Hiro sighs, feeling exhausted from today's events.

"Really signed myself up for one hell of a life now…" He mutters to himself and shakes his head.

Seeing Haruna trapped like that… Made Hiro realize, that unlike the Manga, this isn't a story in the control of a writer with every intention to make a happy ending, this is real.

Therefore, there is no guarantee that things won't go horribly wrong. Trying to avoid messing with canon events is futile, especially when he probably messed something up in the general timeline by causing Mikan to slip a few years ago.

Leaving things up to fate and chance alone is naïve. He remembered seeing many stories about time travel or even 'Self Insert' characters changing the future beyond what they expected and acting so surprised. Using that logic, he definitely altered some parts of the 'chapters' in the distant future. He might as well commit to what he did and use what he can to increase the odds of a better future for everyone.

He… Akatsuki Hiroto, a reincarnate from another world, will support the Main Protagonist.

Right now, he's at the beginning of To Love Ru, Yami isn't here yet, so the situation isn't dangerous. He'll help Rito sometimes when he's about to fall lewdly on some girl or if Lala's invention accidentally causes some trouble. Hiro will use his wisdom to guide Rito to finally confessing his love to Haruna and or Lala before Momo's shenanigans that may create a vicious cycle of Rito's typical harem tropes and not getting anywhere in a relationship.

In fact, with his knowledge, maybe the future events won't become too bad and-

Someday in the future…

"Hiro… I love you."

How did this happen?

Author's Notes:

Welcome to the end of my first chapter, thank you all for reading!

As you all may know by the end of this chapter this fanfic about an SI OC who finds himself reincarnated into the world of To Love Ru! This was inspired by "Love Does not Compute" By CreepySnake and "The New Principal" by SocialistBukharin.

However in this fanfic, Hiro will participate in most canon events of the manga. Well not every chapter. He will most likely have little sections where Hiro interferes in a chapter for a little bit by alleviating and or preventing some of Rito's misadventures. For example, remember the chapter where Rito becomes a mouse? Instead of experiencing lots of ecchi moments, Hiro is there to take care of him until he transforms back to normal with no lewd incidents.

There would also be original chapters of what Hiro goes through in his life and the people he interacts with as well. Including the inevitable canon divergences Hiro will face later in the future.

Thanks again for reading and have a good day!
