I do not own Wings of Fire, that credit goes Tui T. Sutherland; the Author of the series. I only own the OCs, Stone the Mudwing and Boar the Rainwing.

The five dragonets land on a sandy beach on an island.

Princess Tsunami: "Ahhhh…"

Glory: "You guys. Is that the smell of freedom?"

Starflight: "Freedom smells like a lot like fish."

Princess Tsunami: "I love it."

Starflight: "Shouldn't we stay beneath the trees? What if a patrol? We must stay under the trees. All right. Everyone back to the trees right now."

Sunny: "Sorry, Starflight."

Glory changed her scales to shades of yellow and little bit of light blue, her eyes were light blue. Tsunami puts her head underwater, she tries to catch a fish but it got away.

Clay: "You know what I love? Fish. Big fish. Not these little wriggle-scrapes.

Sunny: "Clay, it's only been a day since you caught that enormous pig!"

Clay: "It wasn't enormous. That was the smallest pig in the whole world."

Starflight: "I'm serious, everybody. It's not safe on the beach, with the mudwings and the Skywings all looking for us…"

Princess Tsunami: "Why are you so worried? You've got magical Nightwing friends who'll swoop in and rescue you"

Starflight: "I'm not worried for me. I'm trying to keep all of us safe."

Princess Tsunami: "I'm keeping us safe just fine! When have I ever lead us wrong?"

Glory: "Well, there was that one time we got captured by Skywings—And their queen nearly killed us-."

Tsunami uses her tail to splash Glory with water.

Sunny: "Stop! Stop it! Stop fighting, all of you. Clay! Stop them."

Clay: "Buh? Um…it's all right for Starflight to be worry. We don't know if Queen Scarlet is alive or dead."

Princess Tsunami: "Hmph!"

Starflight: "Ahem."

Clay: "But the sooner we find the Seawings, the safer we'll be. So let's do that instead of fighting about it."

Princess Tusnami: "That's right. Finding my mother is the most important thing."

Glory: "Our bigwings. So wise and big."

Sunny: "I think he is!"

Glory: "So, now what? We shout "Hey, seawings, we've got your missing princess."

Sunny: "Yeah! And the Seawings will rise from the ocean!"

Clay: "Like the scroll!"

Sunny: "And they'll sing, and they'll have a feast—."

Clay: "A feast!"

Starflight: "You know, the missing princess is just a scroll… We have no idea what we're actually going to find in the kingdom of the sea."

Clay: "It might not be what you're hoping for, Tsunami. My family was happy to see me, but it's not like all families are like that."

Princess Tsunami: "Yeah. Sure. I know that." (But it won't be like that for me. Clay's family were good. My mother's a queen. And I'm her only living daughter, so I'm her only heir.) "I could just dive in and look for the Seawing palace."

Starflight: "Out there?"

Princess Tsunami: "Where else do you suggest I find the Seawing?"

Starflight: "Swimming in the ocean is not like swimming in an underground river. There are strong currents—And—And unpredictable waves—And—And—And big things with teeth—."

Princess Tsunami: " I'm a big thing with teeth."

Starflight: "It's not safe what if we lost you."

Sunny: "Starflight, cheer up! Tsunami can do anything."

Clay: "On no! What about us? We can't breathe down there! How can we stick together if you're underwater?"

Princess Tsunami: "Aw, Clay. Did it just occur to you that seawings live underwater?"

Glory: "Seriously? All those geography lessons and not a single on sunk in?"

Clay: "What?"

Starflight: "The Seawings have an above-water palace, too."

Clay: "Oh, good phew."

Sunny: "It's okay. I didn't remember that either."

Starflight: "We can't get there easily because both of the Seawing palaces…The one underwater and the one on land…are extremely well hidden. That's how they've lasted so long in the war even though they don't have fire. Nobody can find them."

Glory: "Sounds like the Nightwings."

Princess Tsunami: "It's nothing like the Nightwings! Seawings aren't being deliberately superior and mysterious! They're just guarding their homes."

Starflight: "Dose anyone else smell fire?"

Princess Tsunami: "Three moons, Starflight. I'm not hiding in the trees every time some little thing spooks you."

Sunny: "Wait, I think he's right. I hear wingbeats."

Starflight: "I do, too."

Princess Tsunami: "From this far away?"

Tsunami then hears wingbeats, and then notices Skywings in the distance heading in their direction.

Princess Tsunami: "Skywings! Quick! Into the water!"

Glory: "No way."

Glory changes her scales to blend in with her surroundings.

Princess Tsunami: "Fine! Come on, Sunny!"

Sunny: "I can make it to the trees! I'll fly real fast."

Princess Tsunami: "I'll be safer in the sea!"

Sunny and Starflight fly toward the trees, while Clay goes under the sand.

Princess Tsunami: "Argh, fine! Go fast!"

Tsunami dives down into the sea and to the ocean floor.

Princess Tsunami: (Sunny must be safely hidden by now, right? Right? I have to check on her. Maybe if I just surface a little bit.)

Tsunami surfaces her head a little bit.

Princess Tsunami: (Sunny, hurry!)

Tsunami sees three Skywings fly over her, and she spots other Skywing with a mudwing.

Princess Tsunami: (Is that a mudwing?)

Skywing: "I don't like trusting a talon."

Mudwing: "I don't love working with you either."

Tusnami: (Is that mudwing from The Talons of Peace?)

Skywing: "You're certain he'll lead us there."

Mudwing: "Positive. He's a cowardly, sentimental old Seawing. He misses home. I told him Queen Coral is in a forgiving mood."

Skywing: "And he believed you?"

Mudwing: "He's still grieving."

Princess Tsunami: (What are The Talons of Peace up to now?")

The two of them fly in the direction the others were. Tsunami then sees one last Skywing lagging behind. She looks to the trees, and Sunny's tail sticking out.

Princess Tsunami: (That's Sunny's tail! Has the Skywing spotted it? What if he calls the others back? We're no match for all six of them. He looks he's staring at the trees…has he seen Sunny?)

The Skywing opens his mouth. Tusnami jumps out of the water and tackles him. Tsunami flies over the Skywing and onto his back.

Princess Tsunami: (I can take a full-grown Skywing in the air… I've got to force him into the water.)

The Skywing breathes fire at Tsunami. Tsunami then bites down on the Skywing's tail, causing him to scream in pain.

Princess Tsunami: (you're not getting my friends!)

Then the Skywing breathes fire at Tsunami again, witch hit the right side Tsunami's neck.

Princess Tsunami: (Gotta hold on… Save my friends…)

Clay then jumps out of the water in front of Tsunami, blocking the fire. Tsunami is left with some of her scales burned away, leaving some her skin exposed. With them both of them working together they managed to force the Skywing into the water. And he ran out of air. Then Clay and Tusnami dragged the Skywing onto shore. Glory came out of her camouflage and now her scales were shades of light brown and brownish-green.

Glory: "What is wrong with you?"

Princess Tsunami: "Oh, you're, Glory. Just saving your life, as usual."

Glory: "By attacking random dragons? He was flying away!"

Sunny comes out of the trees.

Sunny: "Why did you do that?"

Princess Tsunami: "To save you!"

Sunny: "But he wasn't doing anything."

Princess Tsunami: "He was about to call the others. I saw him open his mouth!"

Glory: "So did I. I'm pretty sure he was yawning."

Princess Tsunami: "Pretty sure? You'd risk our lives for pretty sure?" (He wasn't yawning. But… was he? No. I saw danger and I reacted appropriately. Didn't I?)

Starflight: "Maybe if you'd just stopped to think for a second—."

Princess Tsunami: "Or forever? Like you? Think think think, worry worry, never do anything?"

Clay was slamming his talon against the Skywing's chest.

Glory: "And what are you doing?"

Clay: "Uh. Fixing him?"

Glory grabs Clay's talon to stop him.

Glory: "What? You can't let him live!"

Princess Tusnami: "We don't have to kill him. We'll tie him up and leave him here."

Glory: "Great. How about a trail of cow parts, too? And a map of where we're going? Would you like me to spell out "dragonets wuz here" in giant rocks?"

Princess Tusnami: "Fine! Here he is! You kill him. Just splat some venom on his face, if it's that easy for you."

Glory: "… I don't kill dragons who can't fight back."

Glory changes her scales to shades of purple and light greens and eyes to light green. The Skywing then hacked up water, meaning he was still alive.

Glory: "Oh, wonderful. So what do we do with him now, o great leader?"

Starflight: "There's a tree! In the forest!"

Glory: "No way. A tree in the forest?"

Starflight: "A fallen tree—I think we use it."

(A little later)

Clay and Tsunami were flying and holding on to a dead tree. Starflight was also flying guiding Clay and Tsunami. On the ground Sunny and Glory were standing near the Skywing, who was starting to get up.

Starflight: "Wait, go left! Left! Left! No, no, right!"

Princess Tusnami: (As if we need to be told how to move a tree…)

Sunny: "He's waking up."

Glory: "Then we'd better get this done."

Sunny: "Maybe we should just let him go."

Princess Tusnami: "We can't do that."

Clay and Tsunami carefully place the tree on the Skywing. Then they and Starflight land.

Sunny: "I wish you hadn't attacked him."

Glory: "Me too."

Starflight: "It wasn't the smartest move."

Princess Tsunami: "You don't know that! Maybe I saved us! Again!"

Skywing: "Wait. Don't leave me like this."

Starflight: "Remember we could have killed you. Remember the dragonets of destiny were merciful. We want peace, not more death. We have come to save Pyrrhia ."

The five of them then take off in flight.

Princess Tsunami: "Oh, good grief. No more hanging out with nightwings for you."

Sunny: "I thought it sounded nice."

Glory: "Don't encourage him."

Princess Tsunami: "Why can't we sleep on the beach?"

Starflight: "We need to stay hidden."

Princess Tsunami: "Skywings can't see us in the middle of the night."

Glory: "He's right. We shouldn't risk it."

Princess Tsunami: "You always think he's right."

The land on an island and go inside a cave and go to sleep. Later at dawn, Tsunami walks out of the cave.

Princess Tsunami: (All I want is what's best for them. Don't they know I'd fight a hundred skywings to protect them? Maybe I shouldn't bother. Maybe my friends don't want my protection after all. Maybe they want Starflight to be their leader. Even though he's never risked one scale for them. They're still mad about that skywing. Was I supposed to just let him catch Sunny? Maybe my own kind would understand me better.)

Tsunami dives down into the sea.

Princess Tsunami: (Not bad. It's not exactly like the scroll, but it's pretty down here.)

Tsunami then spots a male seawing with light blue scales (lighter than Tsunami's), dark blue eyes and was wearing armor on his shoulders and chest.

Princess Tsunami: (Is that another Seawing? A dragon from my own tribe! Why is he acting so sneaky? Should I go back and tell the others? No, don't be a smoke-breather. This is what you were hoping for.)

Tsunami then follows the seawing.

Princess Tsunami: (It won't hurt to follow him a little before I say hello.)

The seawing stops in front of an underwater cave and lights up some his scales. Then a male seawing came out. This one had dark green scales.

Princess Tsunami: (Who's that? Hrm. Nowhere near as handsome as the first one.)

The two seawings then light up their scales back and forth between each other, like they were having a conversation.

Princess Tsunami: (Why are they lighting up their scales? Some kind of seawing patrol ritual? I guess I'll have to learn that stuff to be queen.)

The green seawing went back into the cave, and the blue one swam away. Then Tsunami continued to follow the blue seawing.

Princess Tsunami: (Looks like they're done. Well, I came out here to meet a seawing, didn't I? I'd rather talk to him than the other one… Now or never!)

Tsunami then shows herself to the seawing. She then points to the surface.

Princess Tsunami: (Come on out of the water so we can talk.)

The Seawing swims away.

Princess Tsunami: (Stop! I just want to talk!)

The Seawing then slams into a whale, and Tsunami pins him down.

Princess Tsunami: (Got you!)

The Seawing lights up his scales. Tsunami then starts lighting up her scales.

Princess Tsunami: (All right. I can do that, too. Maybe he's testing me. See? My stripes flash, too. I'm a Seawing. Now let's go up and talk.)

The Seawing then tries to come near Tsunami.

Princess Tsunami: (Huh? Get off!)

Tsunami slashes the seawing's nose and she heads to the surface, and comes out of the water.

Princess Tsunami: (Yikes! Why did he attack me? I'd better get Clay for backup… )

Seawing: "Wait! Where are you going? What's wrong?"

Princess Tsunami: "What's wrong? Didn't you just attack me?"

Seawing: "I certainly did not! I thought you— That's the normal— You said you liked me!"

Princess Tsunami: "I didn't say anything! You are a delusional squid-brain."

Seawing: "Well, maybe not in those exact words! It was a little confusing… Maybe a lot confusing…"

Princess Tsunami: "When do you imagine I said this? Shortly after you attacked me?"

Seawing: "You were the one attacking! I was trying to be friendly!"

Princess Tsunami: "Stop. Tell me exactly what you think I said."

Seawing: "Uh… "Hey, sparkling teeth, I love three of your claws but not the others, and I wish your nose was a herring so I could eat it…"

Princess Tsunami: "(Laughs) That's hilarious!"

Seawing: "You're seriously going to pretend you didn't say that."

Princess Tsunami: "Of course I didn't. I couldn't say anything at all— We were underwater remember?"

Seawing: "Who are you?"

Princess Tsunami: "I'm a Seawing. Just like you, so there's no need to get hostile."

Seawing: "A Seawing who doesn't speak aquatic? Not likely."

Princess Tsunami: (Aquatic? Uh-oh… Seawings have their own language?)

Seawing: "Look out!"

The Seawing pushes Tsunami into the water. Underwater Tsunami sees Clay attacking the Seawing. She comes out of the water and gets between the two to stop them from fighting.

Princess Tsunami: "Clay! You squid-brain! Stop! What are you doing?"

Seawing: "I'm saving you from that mudwing!"

Princess Tsunami: "He's my friend!"

Seawing: "But mudwings are our enemies!"

Sunny: "Leave Clay alone!"

Sunny arrives and tries biting the Seawing's wing.

Princess Tsunami: "That's my other friend. Sunny, try not to hurt him. We need his help."

Seawing: "I hardly think this gnat is going to hurt me."

Princess Tsunami: "We're not your enemies. We're the dragonets of destiny!"

(Later) The six dragons are the beach.

Sunny: "Riptide. That's a funny name."

Princess Tsunami: "I like it. Fierce and scary, like mine."

Riptide: "And you're… the dragonets of destiny. The ones in the prophecy. You were really all raised in a cave? With no ocean? Never?"

Princess Tsunami: "Not until we escaped."

Riptide: "But that's awful."

Princess Tsunami: "It is, isn't it?"

Riptide: "Even Webs— Webs didn't take you to the ocean?"

Sunny: "You know Webs?"

Riptide: "Not really. He ran away when I was only two years old. But he's infamous for stealing Queen Coral's egg. I've heard his treachery all my life."

Starflight: "Didn't anyone think the egg might be part of the prophecy?"

Riptide: "Queen Blister doesn't like us to talk us to talk about that."

Princess Tsunami: "Blister gets to decide what Seawings talk about?"

Riptide: "You'll want to call her Queen Blister when you meet her."

Princess Tsunami: "Not until we decide she should be queen."

Starflight: "Well, Queen Blister is pretty good— I mean, she's the smart one— I think we'll probably—."

Princess Tsunami: "What are you rattling on about?"

Starflight: "Nothing."

Princess Tsunami: "Anyway, I'm not sure we care about the prophecy."

Sunny: "I care about prophecy!"

Princess Tsunami: "But we do care about finding our families. Only a few days ago, I found out I was stolen from the royal hatchery. So… so I thought… Maybe my parents were looking for me, like… like in…"

Riptide: "The missing princess?"

Princess Tsunami: "You know it?"

Riptide: "It's required reading in school."

Princess Tsunami: "Required reading? That's weird."

Starflight: "School!"

Riptide: "I understand but I can't take you to the palace. Not with him along."

Princess Tsunami: "Weren't you listening? He's not a regular mudwing."

Riptide: "I'm in enough trouble with Queen Coral. If I bring a mudwing to the palace, I might as well pull out my own teeth."

Sunny: "Ew! That's not a real punishment, is it?"

Riptide: "Can't I bring you and leave the others? At least until Queen Coral gives permission?"

Princess Tsunami: "Nope. We're all coming with you. Think of it this way: what happens if Queen Coral finds out you met her missing daughter and didn't bring her back?"

Riptide: "All right. But he has to be blindfolded. It'd be better if they could all be blindfolded."

Glory: "What am I going to do? Round up some scary Rainwings to sleep on your roof?"

Riptide: "Scary Rainwings. Pfff. What a thing to say."

Glory: "No blindfold for me, then."

Starflight: "Nightwings know everything. It's no use trying to keep secrets from them. I mean us."

Sunny: "You can blindfold me. I don't mind."

Princess Tsunami: "If you blindfold Sunny, she can ride on my back."

Starflight: "Or my back."

Princess Tsunami: "You think you're strong enough?"

Sunny: "Sure he is. I'll ride with him, and you can lead Clay."

Princess Tsunami: (Well, fine, then. I guess everyone's giving the orders now. Why dose Starflight keep trying to take my place?)

Riptide was tying some seaweed around Sunny's eyes. Clay had seaweed tied around his eyes.

Sunny: "Ew, it's all wet and slimy."

Clay: "I like wet and slimy."

Glory: "That's weird, Clay."

Princess Tsunami: (Sunny keeps looking at me like she doesn't trust ma anymore. And the others keep arguing with me. They're still mad because of that skywing. Never mind. When they see me as a princess, they'll understand.)

All 6 of were flying to the summer palace. Riptide was leading the way. Glory and Tsunami were guiding Clay. Sunny was riding on Starflight's back. Down below they saw pink dolphins.

Glory: "Pink dolphins!"

Clay: "Can we eat them?"

Riptide: "No!"

Riptide stops.

Riptide: "Uh-oh."

Princess Tsunami: "What?"

Riptide: "The advance guard."

Glory: "Clay, stop and hover."

In front of them were lots of Seawing guards. The leader was a male seawing with teal scales and gray eyes.

Lead guard Seawing: "Halt! Rrrriptide. What are you dragging home now?"

Riptide: "I found the missing princess."

Princess Tsunami: (Yeah, right. I was the one doing all the finding.)

Seawing guards: "From the scroll?" "Is it really her?"

Lead guard Seawing: "Oh, really? You, Riptide? Of all dragons? What an unusual coincidence."

Princess Tsunami: "And who are you?"

Riptide: "This is Shark. Commander of palace defense and brother to the queen."

Princess Tsunami: (I guess he's my uncle! Well, I'm not bowing to him or anyone else.)

Commander Shark: "What makes you think this snip of a dragon comes from the stolen royal egg?"

Princess Tsunami: "Why? Do you lose a lot of eggs? Maybe whoever's in charge of palace defense isn't very good at it, then. Oh, wait, that's you, isn't it?"

Riptide: "Her story makes sense. She about—about Webs. And look at the pattern under her wings. Quick! Light up your wings."

Tsunami lights up the pattern on her wings.

Seawing guards: "Gasp!" "Aah!" "The missing prince!"

Riptide: "Look at Shark. His are the same."

Princess Tsunami: (Because we're both royal. But one I shall be queen, and Shark will never be anything but a soldier."

Command Shark: "Very well. Kill the other four and bring her."

The guards close in on Clay, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny.

Princess Tsunami: "Don't you touch them! I am the Queen's daughter, and I order you to leave them alone!"

Commander Shark: "Very well."

Shark signals to his guards and they let the others go.

Princess Tsunami: "Now take us to my mother."

Commander Shark: "The queen is attending to her guests during the celebration at the Deep Palace. You may wait for her in the Summer Palace."

Princess Tsunami: "Celebration? For what?"

Commander Shark: "The king recently returned, and the queen threw a party in his honor." (To his guards) "Send word to the queen and king."

Princess Tsunami: (The queen. The king. My parents! I'm going to meet my parents today!)

Clay: "Uh, what's going on now? I still can't see."

Glory: "Tsunami managed to get us out of the trouble she got us into."

Sunny: "Glory, be nice."

Starflight: "If that was the welcoming committee, we must be close near the entrance to the Summer Palace. I wonder how they concealed it so well."

Riptide: "Wait till you see."

They were approaching a tall island with plants at the top of the island.

Princess Tsunami: "Don't tell me that's the Summer Palace."

Riptide: "Just watch."

Shark then dived down between two pillars of rock.

Princess Tsunami: (Here we go!)

Tsunami followed them and entered a hidden underwater tunnel.
