It was that time of year again.
The holidays that is.
All over the globe, in nearly ever town, city, and state, residents were decorating their homes, apartments, and even their lawns with trees, lights, ornaments, candy canes, and even inflatable snowmen.
That included the firehouse, that once occupied the super natural team known as the Ghostbusters.
And while the team had retired and had gone to start their own careers as well as families, the four member group of Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Raymond(Ray) Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddmore would reunited on many occasions for get-togethers.
Whether it was every other Saturday, birthdays, holidays, and that included Christmas.

And on this day, Egon , who along with his wife, the Ghostbusters former receptionist Jeanie and daughter Lila, still living in the firehouse, were putting up the menorah and other Hanukkah items, all while Winston, his wife Grace, their two kids Rhonda and Gerald, plus Jessica and Christopher, Grace's niece and Nephew who she adopted, following the death of her sister and brother-in-law, who were killed in a car accident, were setting up and placing ornaments the tree, and Peter, his wife Dana, their two kids, Peter Jr. Tabitha, plus Dana's son Oscar were placing garland and bulbs along the stairway.
Just then, Peter, his wife Jenny, their son Andrew, and adopted daughter Kylie came in from putting lights on the outside of the firehouse.
"I think we need a few more lights on the fire escape," said Ray.
"Egon and Peter went to get a few more boxes upstairs," Jeanie replied.

Within moments, Peter and Egon had return to the main level, carrying several boxes.
"Is that all the holiday decorations we have?" Jeanie asked.
"Winston just ran up to check," Egon replied.
"Found this in the attic," said Winston, as he cradled a box in his arms.
All four ghostbusters and their families surround the box.
"Egon's First Christmas," Jenny read the box.
"I completely forgot all about this," said Ray.
After he opened the box, Ray, along with Peter, Winston and Egon, slowly took out the items, which consisted on a copy of T'was The Night Before Christmas, The Mega Book Of Christmas Trivia, a slightly dis-colored Santa hat, a cd of Christmas songs, a red and green striped Christmas sweater and a snow globe.
"I completely forgot about this stuff," said Ray.
"Same here, brings back memories," said Winston with a laugh.
"What is it dad?" asked Andrew.
"This was from a long time ago.
Before many of you kids, with the exception of Oscar were born," Peter replied.
"I'm sure we were born uncle Peter," said Christopher with a laugh.
"We just didn't meet yet," Jessica added.
"Dad, I thought uncle Egon, aunt Jeanie and Lila celebrate Hanukkah," said Tabitha.
"We do yes, but since we've been born, we've always share our traditions and celebrate the holidays together," Lila replied.
"Yeah, whether it's decorating a Christmas tree or lighting that giant candlestick holder," said Peter Jr.
"Menorah."
"See, we always learn something new."
"And you're about to learn about Uncle Egon's first Christmas," said Peter.
Everyone stopped decorating, as they settled into the center of the firehouse so Peter could tell the story.

13 years earlier.

"This way!
They're getting away!" Winston shouted.
He and his fellow Ghostbusters were chasing four full torso apparitions, from the skating pond at Rockerfeller Center, into Radio City Music Hall.
Despite knocking over scenery and frightening the performers, including the Rockettes dancing troupe, who were in the middle of rehearsal for another show that night, the team was able to corner the ghouls.
"Now's our chance," spoke Egon.
And with that, the ghostbusters turned on their proton wands, that were connected to their packs, and fired beams, keeping the ghosts in place.
"Dr. Stantz, the ghost traps if you please," said Peter.
"With pleasure Dr. Venkman," said Ray, as he pushed two traps under their captured apparitions.
Winston and Egon each opened a trap, all while they manipulated the beams shared with Winston and Peter.
"Just a little more, we're almost there," said Ray.
It took some time, but the team managed to trap the ghouls.
After their mission was accomplished, the cast and crew thanked the ghostbusters, and rewarded them not just with payment, but with tickets for an up-coming show.

A short time later, the ghostbuster returned back to the firehouse, with full ghost traps in tow.
"We're back Jeanie," Ray called out, as he got out of their car, Ecto-1 A's driver seat.
"Another ghoul, another dollar," added Peter.
"At least it's picked up a bit.
Business has been rather slow, so thank goodness it's picked up a bit with the holidays," said Winston.
"Speaking of the holidays, don't forget we have that Christmas party at Gracie Mansion tonight," said Jeanie.
"I forgot all about that.
I got to shower, shave, and pick up Dana," said Peter, as he headed upstairs, followed by Ray and Winston.
The meanwhile, Egon was looking over the paper work from the case.
"Aren't you getting ready for the party?" Jeanie asked him.
"I'm not really that fond of social gatherings," Egon answered.
"Come on, I'm sure it will be fun.
Plus, if you refuse, the guys would most likely drag you to that party," said Jeanie.
After thinking a few moments, Egon answer, I'll save them the trouble and go.
"Great, and you better get cleaned up for tonight.
You're going to look rather silly wearing that flightsuit," Jeanie giggled.
Egon looked down at the clothes he was wearing and headed upstairs to get ready.

Later that evening, the Ghostbusters, wearing tuxedoes, Jeanie, and Dana Barrett, a former client of the team and now Peter's fiancé, dressed in gowns made their way into Gracie Mansion for the big Christmas party.
Once they entered the ballroom, the team and their guests, were greeted by the city of the Big apple, Lenny Clotch and his assistant Phillip Duncan.
"Ghostbusters, Ms. Melnitz, Ms. Barrett, welcome to the event and Merry Christmas," said mayor Lenny, as he shook hands with everyone.
"Thank you for inviting us Mayor Clotch," said Ray.
"My pleasure folks.
So enjoy yourselves and please try some of what we have to offer.
The ghostbusters Jeanie and Dana spend the time at the party mingling with fellow party guests, ate, drank and had a rather enjoyable time.
At some point during the party, Mayor Clotch tapped his glass with a knife and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you all are enjoying yourselves at tonight's gathering."
Everyone is the room applauded.
"And now I'd like to present my favorite party of this annual event, which is some of you sharing your favorite Christmas memories.
Now my assistant Phillip Duncan will go around the room and each of you tell us what makes Christmas special to you.
The Mayor's assistant approached several of the party goers, who gave their answers of what they loved about the holiday season.
Most of the guests told about family, whether it was decorating the tree, playing games in the snow, parties, watching for santa.
Phillip Duncan then made his way to the ghostbusters and choose Egon to speak.
"Now Dr. Spengler, do you have a favorite Christmas memory?" Phillip Duncan asked.
"I don't have one," Egon replied.
"What?
Surely you must have one memory."
"I'm afraid I don't."
"You don't have a Christmas memory."
"Yes, because I'm Jewish."
