29. Chapter 23: Avenir

Chapter 23

Avenir.

It's been two months. We had been busy, preparing and practicing. It seems a lot of things slowed down in the meantime. Criminals become less common. Planeptune's defense against spacial rifts are close to completing. Unfortunately, I haven't heard any real positive news regarding Leanbox and Lastation. Thanks to Cave putting in a good word for my alias, Suno, we are recognized as those having defeated the S rank monsters during the event, raising our rank to the max.
Currently, our levels are:
Bios: Level 97
Acclaim: Level 92
Sili-san: Level 92
Dragonette: Level 91
Theresa: Level 87
Evo: Level 76.

The level of those that use machines or use mecha are a bit weird. They do level up because they are involved in the fight, but they may not get much stronger physically. But the stats of the mecha they drive are increased. I do not really understand how it works. The level of the mecha she makes is influenced by her own and slightly higher. She had been busy connecting to whatever robot units she had placed spread across the continent. She also rebuild 3090X and 3080X.
We spent the most time leveling her up because she was below level 20 when she joined.

Now we sit at the base. Everyone was doing their thing. Only because we plan to launch a proper assault against Avenir soon.
Evo compiled all of our ideas and strategies with all the information we have on Avenir into a well-documented plan. Having sat around all day, I am thinking of just approaching her and asking if she'll be done soon.
I jump down from my spot and walk over to her.

I look at her screens, but I can't quite understand much of what is on there.
"When do you think you'll be finished?", I ask her.
"Hm…Well it should be around done~", she says with glee.
She stops to look at me with a smirk.
"So far, we have only stealthily infiltrated their offices and hacked into some of their PCs. We found one lab that we should take over as soon as possible. After that, we must separate and take care of their more prominent workplaces and shut them down.", she tells me.

"I see. But there is more to it, isn't there?", I ask her.
"Of course.", she says, looking back at the PC. The others gather around overhearing us talk.
"The biggest roadblocks towards finishing our complete operation is the missing data of two things. Their HQ being one of them. The plan would be to find their location through this operation, but we don't have a back up plan in case we end up in a cold trail. But more pressingly was their plan B. I can only gather they plan to do something at the World Labyrinth.", she explains to us.

That sounds familiar… World Labyrinth…Big Sis told me…Right. Lowee's Mascot!"That is where Lowee's Mascot is located.", I say.
Evo asks me, "You know about it?"
"Each nation has a mascot that has a vital function to keep things in order. If they are planning to do something there, it's probably related.", I say.
But why would they harm Lowee's mascot? Wouldn't they want to harm the other three?
"Oi oi, doesn't that mean that we need to quickly get there before them?", Sili-san asks.

"Last time I heard, something awful will happen to Lowee if that mascot leaves her position.", I say.
"My data says there is a story like that as well. Something terrorizing Lowee in the past.", Acclaim tells us.
"I never bothered to ask…", I say that, but I could also read up on this history in the book of true history. On the other hand, seeing is believing as they say. We probably have to move there regardless.
"Guys. Let's move out right now!", I tell them. They nod their heads and voice their agreement.

With our masks on, we leave for the night, heading to the west, then all the way to the north. This place is actually located in the large northern snowfields. Didn't think we'd be here again. This time around, we are much stronger and the harsh environment is slowly normalizing as the magic that surrounded it has left with the destruction of the treasures.
"I have never seen anything akin to a 'World Labyrinth' here, where the heck could it have been hiding?!", Sili-san asks.
"I don't think even the ninja know where this is.", Dragonette tells us.

"According to my information, it is a cyberspace location.", Evo tells us.
Most of us knows what that means, Theressa is the only one confused.
"Cyber Space…But you can't just enter a computer…?", She says to herself confused.
"Some Gods are said to have created world and lands. I imagine those Cyber Space locations are under similar rules. But who can say what their origins are. Usually, there is a portal that leads us to one that is always open.", so Evo says.
"I've never been to one.", I mention.
"I have been there once in my life.", Acclaim says.
"I think only Dragonette and myself have been in those areas because we were adventurers.", Sili-san says.

"It kind of surprises me we've been avoiding quests that sends us to such locations.", Dragonette says folding her arms in thought.
We walk a bit more. We get a bit grumpy from the cold. Sili-san asks, "How do we even find this place?"
"It is meant to be a secret location to keep the mascot hidden. Only Goddesses and the Oracles should know of its location.", I say.
Sili-san smiles and says, "So you know-"
"I was never informed of its location.", I respond.
"Figures.", Sili-san returns to his moody self in his reaction.

"Do not fret. Avenir knows its location. I have been leading us to it from the very beginning. It is only halfway across the northern lands.", Evo says…She doesn't look grumpy at all. She's not even wearing a coat.
"Are you not cold?", I ask her.
"There is an energy field covering me, remember? It keeps the warmth of heating systems too.", she says.
"How convenient.", Sili-san comments sarcastically.
With Evo's mecha still, we all stop moving.

"The map says it's here.", Evo tells us. And in typical fashion, we look around and see nothing.
Before Sili-san opens his mouth, I shut him down saying, "Wait a minute."
A portal suddenly opens in front of us.
"Something usually appears before us when we are looking for it.", I say.
"It often happens after Silicon complains. How odd.", Acclaim says.
"I see. Before me, you had a Silicon radar.", Evo says in jest.
"Ha Ha, keep mocking me.", Sili-san's response causes all others to laugh.

We enter inside. I kind of get lost in thought. This place is surreal. Like a bunch of different colored cubes formed platforms together in this weird space. I could almost think this is a child's playroom.
I bump into Theresa who was just as awestruck. We just looked at each other, we ended up giggling.
"This place sure is strange…Leader. Is this what the inside of a computer looks like?", she says looking around.
"I haven't been to a cyberworld like this one before…I don't really know what cyberspace even is.", I say.
"The theory of Cyberspace is data and network connectivity given material form. It is mostly from our imagination as humans prefer a visible reality even if it is information for we understand things better through visual information.", Evo explains.

"I never get tired of weird areas like these.", Dragonette says, holding her hands on her hips looking around. Acclaim and Sili-san are urging us to continue walking. They are not ones for the scenery.
A weird…Floating set of blocks comes our way. I remember enemies like that. It does have a floating face, or rather, a mouth and eyes. It swirls the blocks around itself and stacks the cubes to smack it against Theresa, except, Acclaim intercepted and punches it into the sky. It actually died from that alone.

Sili-san went ahead and entangled a bunch of monsters into his web. He launches them into the air, then they get sliced by Dragonette's wind attacks and blown up by Evo.
These monsters are pathetically weak. To be fair, my party is so high leveled, most monsters don't stand a chance against us now. But these ones we could take on a level 20 person. Along the way, we come across living pipes and visual novel screens. Bizarre enemies gathered around here. There were also these space invaders made of pixels. Worst they could do is give us a status effect, but in the end, we are just superior.

This place goes quite deep. Regardless, we reach our destination quite comfortably. Alas, that didn't mean success. I already see a smashed up idol. We run over to it to inspect it.
"Um…Bios.", Sili-san says before chuckling awkwardly and then finishing his sentence, "This wouldn't happen to be the mascot…Would it?"
"I believe the mascot is inside a disc…", I say.
Acclaim gives me a grim look as he scrapes up a shattered CD.
We all look at it worried.
"Oh no….", Sili-san says absolutely frightened.

"So…What happens next?", Dragonette asks.
"Well, we do not know when this was smashed open.", Evo says.
"You're saying whatever should be happening must've happened already?", Sili-san asks.
"Wait…But I'm pretty sure the bad thing happens almost immediately, and we haven's seen or heard anything. Not on the news, and not on the way over to here.", I say.
"There were no mecha from Avenir either. Or any person at all.", Dragonette says.
"This is a questionable phenomenon for sure.", Acclaim states.

Suddenly, I feel the air above us warp.
"Jump forward!", me shouting that has everyone do a hop in front of them. We turn back as this huge machine just drops down and shakes the ground.
"That is!", Evo already responds quite actively, even Acclaim is shocked saying, "A Killachine? Those should not exist anymore."
"Hm…Leader. Is this thing what the legend warned about?", Theresa asks.

"It could be.", I say.
"According to rumors, the terrors of Lowee was caused by a machine.", Evo states.
The Killachine has a serpent-like body with a sharp tail, it has two main body pieces on its spine, the upper piece being its main body, a torso with a head that has bunny-like ears and its shoulders shaped like metal wings. A bit lower on its spine was what looked like a turtle shell with its most upper part missing. It had two arms floating next to it, the right hand carrying a mace and the left hand carrying an axe. Its main color was grey with the secondary color being black. His body had orange accents whereas the weapons had red accents.

It swings its weapons around, but were easily knocked back by Acclaim and Dragonette. Theresa shoots a simple Thunderstorm at him. Which I immediately notice something is off.
It actually casts a flame spell at her and then tries to hit us with a large scale flame tornado which we backed off from. Either way, Theresa took zero damage from the flame spell.
"What do we do, leader?", I don't even know who asked me, I just charged my sword with light. They look confused at me as I stood stationary whilst the Killachine charges at me.
"UnionStar Light Slash!", I shout as my blade erupts in light, with a right to left downwards swing, I shoot a large blade of light that explodes into the Killachine.

It's instantly torn apart and disappears in data.
Everyone's eyes were poking out. They collectively utter, "Huh?"
"It's level was so low. Theresa took no damage. It would've been scary if we were way weaker.", I say.
"Huh…But then. This can't be it, right?", Sili-san asks.
"I mean…Maybe this terror was terrifying when the previous Goddesses were weaker?", Dragonette suggests.

"No…This can't be it.", I say.
"It only spawned just now…The Killachine should have stronger variants…", Acclaim says.
We expected maybe another one to spawn. But nothing happened.
"This is bizarre.", Sili-san complains.
"How about I read up on it. You guys stay on watch, just in case another spawns.", I say.
"Got it!", I hear from them. I move up the highest stack of cubes and begin reading.

Knowing a Killachine was here means I can maybe find a good part of where it is written here…
About three hours later. I finally can talk to my absolutely bored party members. It is a good thing I bought a bunch of Lowee Switches for us all.
I jump down and start talking.
"So…That Killachine was it. But also not. Supposedly, this location infinitely spawns them one after another until they become a large scale army that even a Goddess couldn't take.", I say.

"Well, that gets us more questions. Because the spawn rate sure as heck is slow.", Sili-san says.
"This book contains true history, you once informed me. What does it say, exactly?", Acclaim asks.
"Yes. The Killachine invasion was never ending. They could only be sealed, and the seal was kept by Lowee's mascot. There actually was an incident years ago where someone broke the CD with Lowee's mascot in it, causing them to spawn again. Nepgear and the others needed help from Rom and Ram to fight them. But here is the good news. We can fix the disc. Broccoli did it once.", I tell them the story and our next objective, kind of.

"Hm…Ah. It must be that GAMERS article from long ago. Yeah, we could fix the disc. But that doesn't explain why there aren't any spawning now.", Evo says.
"That is the bad news. This book only records events once the month is over. Avenir broke this thing last month. Near the tail end of the month. So I can't say what they've done with it. I only know that they have somehow created a disc that takes their spawn point.", I say.
They are talking to each other, because this new information is all over the place. Sili-san shouts, "Wait! They couldn't be thinking of spawning them near a base or something!"
"Their plan involving this place must've been with this in mind. If they can send them to other nations infinitely…". Evo talks, then she taps on her computer.

"So, Plan B could be the flooding of Gamindustri with war machines.", Acclaim states.
"Even worse. Stronger variants could spawn later. Even for a Goddess, infinite enemies, weak or not, could become trouble.", Evo says whilst rapidly typing away.
"Okay. My 3060X and 3070X units should be searching for Killachines in case they are spawning in an open area or dungeon.", Evo says.
"In the meantime. We must invade their lab and find locations.", I say.

Our next step couldn't come too soon, but by the time we return the sun should already be up. We have to wait for the next night to invade their lab. The best time would be when most are asleep. The issue is that their factory isn't too far from the city area, there are enough businesses and residences nearby. We come up with the idea to cause some trouble. Evo will set off a droid making it look like it is attacking people. That should get the attention of the Lowee guards while we sneak inside the factory.

While we waited for night and slept beforehand, Evo had been working to fix the disc.
We just sit around and do our thing until we hear, "Eureka! I got it"
"You use funny phrases like that?", Sili-san asks.
"Come on…Don't be such a wet blanket~ It was hard to fix it and keep the data intact. Not that this thing really stores data perse."
"…H…o….Ho…s…Is?", We hear a voice cracking from the disc.
"…Where am i…?", the voice spoke.
"Excuse me, are you the Mascot of Lowee? OH! Hold on, let me put you into the computer system, might let you speak to us better.", Evo says.

"Ah…I see. I have been taken from the World Labyrinth. But that is highly disagreeable. If I am not placed there, Killachines will keep spawning.", it says.
"Ah…Yeah… I'm sorry miss mascot, but it would appear you're unaware of the current situation.", Evo talks to her nervous.
"I can see all of you…Was I perhaps broken? Did you fix me?", she replies.
"Mascot of Lowee, only one Killachine had spawned in the area and none came after it. You were broken a few weeks ago. We think the villains have altered the spawn point.", I tell her.

"…I see. You are not human. I sense something familiar in you. But changed the spawn point? I can not fathom that happening. Could you elaborate, if you please?", it politely responds.
We tell it about Avenir and their potential plans. We also request her help.
"I am sorry to say I can't do anything from here. And if the spawn point has changed, placing me back at World Library would not do anything. I also need to be able to trust whoever requests help.", she says.

"Well, get this. This is a Lowee Goddess!", Dragonette slaps my back as she says that with pride. Theresa and Evo look shocked at me, even Acclaim is raising an eye brow.
"She is…Lowee's?", Theresa can barely say the words. Even Evo is lost in speech, "But that is…No, there are no records so…But I…No wait…There is no…Huh?"
Acclaim looks over at Sili-san, who looks away disgruntled.
"We both know she's not a normal goddess…And I know you know more…Even so, why do you look pained?", Acclaim whispers.
"It's not like I kept it a secret on purpose…but I just…I don't know what she would want me to say.", Sili-san whispers back.

Dragonette looks around confused. "Did I say something wrong? Did no one know?"
"I said…I am no Goddess anymore.", I respond.
"That is true but…", Dragonette couldn't continue speaking, the moment she wants to say something, the mascot talks instead, "I do sense…There are Lowee shares flowing in of you…I don't get it, but they are also escaping from you. Only individual shares stick for an amount of time. Your statement is correct, I fear. You are not a Goddess. You aren't even a-", I knew what she was going to say, so I stopped her, "I know!"
"Listen. None of that matters. We want to save Lowee. We have the same goal. Maybe you can't trust us, but there is no one else that is fighting Avenir right now. We are all you have.", I tell her.

After some silence, she finally answers, "You do Resemble them a lot…I accept your proposal. Take my disc form with you to the changed spawn point, and I may be able stop their spawning.", she tells us. While everyone looks glad, Dragonette looks at me concerned.
"Hey…Bios. What is wrong with you exactly? Is there something I-", before she finishes her sentence, I give her a glare, I tell her, "Maybe I should explain later…For now, we have work to do."
Dragonette looks conflicted. Like she is ready to yell at me. But she sighs and says, "You got it. But if you have any other problems, do let us help you, okay?", she says.

We take the disk out. I am to carry it.
"I apologize. I can separate myself from this disc, but I can't enter your body and strengthen you, for your body would reject me.", she says.
"You can do something like that?", I ask her. She tells me the other mascots combined with her helped Nepgear gain new power.
"I heard something like that…It doesn't matter. We are plenty strong.", I tell her.
"I admire the confidence. I am in your care.", she says.

When the time is right, we sneak over to the Factory. It was on top of a hill, with some houses and taller buildings surrounding it.
"Lion. You go first.", I tell her.
Theresa is going to create a blizzard with the snowfall that surrounds us. It takes a while before it really starts. With the snow storm, we have some cover. Our plan is to infiltrate as silently as possible. Eva being the most difficult to smuggle in. Instead, she's using the RT 3080X unit.

So far, there are armed guards outside the factory and on top. According to Acclaim and Evo, this is a legal weapon's factory. So we can't go crazy and just blow it up unless we want to get more law enforcement onto us. Most people in the factory may be innocent hires, too. We make sure they are knocked out. Our plan is for me and Dragonette to enter the ventilation shaft so we can sneak to the front door to knock out any guard nearby.

For the first step, Acclaim uses string to capture the guards around the building on the ground floor whilst the guards above are distracted by the lights of 3080X's flames as it flies over them. They can't see too well thanks to the blizzard. Once the guards above are given sleeping pills, Sili-san will tie up the guards on top of the factory and tie them up to its tall chimneys. It is me and Acclaim that use Light Step to get to any guard that may react to their friends getting tied up, we knock them out. And the guards that are tied up are drugged to sleep with the sleeping pills we used on the guards below. Dragonette sneaks up the building. We walk across the window planes on the crooked part of the roof.
"It would seem the workers aren't here now. Only the machines are active.", Dragonette says.
"A company like Avenir would have a lot of droids working there. But we still can't risk going down the windows. They probably have overseers inside.", I say.
"That is the case from my experience.", Dragonette says.

We find the ventilation shaft.
"I shall make sure both of us can get in with wind magic. It should push out the sucked up dirt and cut open the fan that we may come into contact with.", she tells me. She used a wind spell to surround us with a barrier of wind, our feet shooting tiny short distance razor blades. This shaft goes straight down, like a slide.
According to Evo, this shaft leads to a generator room, all the hot air needs to leave the vent immediately, which is why they had a single high powered fan that can push it outside immediately.

We bust through the fan and enter the room, of which is insanely hot. I can tell, because Dragonette is sweating profusely the instant we got in.
She pulls on her dress. She looks around saying, "These locations always suck. I have to use the special smelless jutsu."
"…You have a ninjutsu to stop smelling?", I ask.
"Well, yeah? It would be kind of hard to erase your presence if others could smell you. Especially if they use dogs.", She says.
"Futon! Kusai Nai no Jutsu!", she says. A wind spell erases our smell.

What the heck.
"I can do the same for sound. Shizukani no jutsu!", she says as she erases our sound keeping it within the winds around our body.
"You know, you can't just use basic Japanese words as skill names, right?", I ask.
"Don't look at me, I did not come up with them.", she replies. From here on out, we would not be able to hear each other, so signs are all we can give. We move up and into a hallway. I can use Light Step to quickly get to different spots before anyone notices. Dragonette uses Stealth Speed and mostly stays hidden like the ninja she was. We actually have different goals, I am heading for the door, and she is heading for a control room to turn off the alarm.

Unfortunately, there were plenty of guards stationed at the entrance. I have no choice but to engage. I knock the first one out, the second was about to shoot me, but at light speed, I throw a knife through his gun before he could pull the trigger, afterwards, I knock him out with a thrust of my fist combined with Light Step. Two guards run out of the hallway that leads to the main entrance, I had jumped above the other end of the hallway to dive down on them and knock them out. Immediately, I send them flying at light speed against two guards coming in from behind. I don't sense them move, so they must be unconscious.

A few more guards are at the other end of the hallways. I move in on one before he could aim his gun at me, I knock his arm away so he won't be able to shoot me, then I do a jump spin kick against his head. I duck under the next guard's aim, slicing the barrel of his gun as I slide between his legs. After that, I jump and kick him in the back onto the ground. From there, I land and jump from wall to wall to make sure the last two guards cannot follow me.

I jump over the first guard's arms to grab them, I drag him with my turn as I land before trying to throw him against the guard that was behind him, he evades successfully, but I just rapidly ram him with my fists, pushing his arms away and eventually got him to faint with a fist to the face.
I hear a muffled sound. Then a sudden long beeeeeep.
"Hello? Test? Is this working?", I hear Dragonette's voice. We had been using new communication devices made by Evo, but barely used it until now.

"Leader here. I hear you. Over.", I reply.
"Ah yes. I have disabled all alarms and cameras. But I have bad news. There appears to be a second undocumented control room that controls defense mechanisms and killer machines.", Dragonette says.
"Well. When fighting machines, we may be able to get away with it. I hope. Just wait for us to reach the main processing room. Over.", I tell her.
"Sure…Or…Copy that?", she replies to me.

I open the door for my friends. They enter inside and close it after.
"Did all of you hear her transmission?", I ask.
"Yup. Though I am a little sad I couldn't see all the undocumented aspects of the factory.", Evo says.
"You don't sound sad, though…", Sili-san silently points out she's still bubbly and excited.
"I can not say how legally permissible secret weapons and defense mechanism's are. I suggest we rather stay silent as we infiltrate their factory.", Acclaim says.

After giving him a nod. We carefully move across the hallways. Luckily, most soldiers were only around the outside and the entrance. Perhaps in the backdoor or escape routes.
On our way to the main processing room, a bunch of gatling guns suddenly appear from the wall.
"Leader, this is Dragon. It would seem someone has figured out the Cameras are down and are activating defense mechanisms. They might attack anything in sight.", Dragonette says.
"Yeah, you are a bit too late with that one.", Sili-san replies back to her.

Acclaim creates a barrier using Theresa's magic skill. Theresa is busy casting group teleport. When she's done, we teleport out of the hallway close to the processing room. It is a sight to behold. From the outside, the factory looked huge, but inside looked magical. The conveyer belts are all above us, tangled in the air like a web. We're standing on…Fake grass, what is this? I lift my shoe to see, and…Yes, this is grass, but it looks unnatural.

We see someone fly by in a floating chair.
"So you have come, Phantom Crusaders!", he shouts.
"This man was expecting us.", Acclaim says.
"You damn right. You think we weren't prepared after you took down SCJP!", he says before snapping his fingers. Three large spider-shaped tanks appear before us, but they are sentient like monsters.
A bunch of other machine monsters are summoned around us.

"As president of this factory, I make sure everything runs efficiently, including your deaths.", he says.
We are immediately under siege of bullet fire, magical attacks and rockets. A normal day for us. We spread out, using our better speeds. I get high up into the conveyor belt web knowing I am the most wanted. I bait all of the more annoying flying pod enemies that try to shoot me with lasers. But every time they surround me, I use Light Step to get away. Alongside them, I have to avoid getting crushed by hydraulic presses.

The flying enemies will eventually be destroyed by 3080X. Theresa destroyed some of the larger enemies below with lightning magic. Acclaim goes wild whilst Dragonette breaks out of the glass after having slashed the operating machine. Now it has become chaos. Explosions all around as my friends are fighting. Two tanks are engaging with the party. One of them firing shells at Theresa and Dragonette whilst the other tank is shooting magical beams at Acclaim and Evo.
The third tank aimed its weapons up trying to shoot me down, both with explosive shells and magical beams. I gracefully jumps over its attack.

After one jump from one belt to another, a droid flies to me trying to slash me. I block its blade, it shoving me off, forcing me to land on a lower conveyer belt. It flew before me, ready to slice me. I let it come to me. I simply enchanted my sword with light and held it in front of me. The droid is okay strength wise, but my power exceeds it, the mirror blade splits it apart as it tried to cut me, his halves exploding when they crashed into nearby converybelts.
"What? How can she easily dispose the non-Goddess-killing units?", the man in chair gasped.

My friends are in the middle of finishing off their tanks as well. 3080X charges its hyper cannon as its flying around. When the charge was finished, she flew a distance in front of the tank. Landing next to Acclaim, she fires off a beam whilst Acclaim shouts, "Fatal Fist!", shooting a spiraling beam besides her. The tank shoots two beams out of its large dual barrel, but they easily overtake it and destroy its barrels. The 3080X flies forward with a burst from its engines, flying over the panzer and doing a spin slash aimed at the ground with its dual arm blades. The panzer explodes.

The other tank is surrounded by wind summoned by Dragonette. She uses Stealth speed to sneak behind the panzer and knocks it into the air with a spin into an uppercut. In the sky, it gets hit by Theresa's, "Great Thunderbolt!" Dragonette condenses the tornado into a wind sphere that envelops her blade as she shouts, "Tatsumaki Naginata!" She jumps over the falling tank and stab her spear through it. She jumps off it before it explodes on the ground.

I dodge high explosive magic from the tank as I jump over the conveyer belts. Landing on the side of one, I use Light Step to soar towards the tank. With Mirror blade active, I slice it in two. It's size is quite large, so I left a blade behind as it reformed. The knife blows up from inside doing some damage to its internals. It aims both cannons at me, shooting a powerful gust at me.
"CombinationStar Light Slash!", I shout, shooting a medium sized light blade through its wind that deals major damage upon contact. I move past it with Light Step and cut it apart with sheer strength this time. Its last HP depleted.

"I-impossible. They took out my three Panzers?!", the guy in the chair shouts trembling.
He tries to flee, but gets stuck in a silicone web. Sili-san was relaxing between the conveyer belts.
"You think we'd just let you go?", he asks.
He was building traps all along…But he was also out of this room for a while.
"Yo, dude. Did you find the other control room?", Dragonette asks.
"Yes. It was underground. Took a lot of string to find some hidden gap that opened up a switch.", Sili-san tells us.

"Allow me to interrogate this president guy. I have some experience as a former ninja.", Dragonette says.
"I'll leave it to you.", I tell her.
I go along with Evo. We headed for the computer room. The others invade the second control room to turn off defenses. There was one person inside the computer room, but he quickly gave up when he saw an advanced Mecha waltz through.

"It's impressive they separated two command rooms and a computer room so one function being compromised doesn't affect the other. You should be proud.", Evo tells the guy who was in the computer room.
"P-please…If we did something bad, I didn't know, I swear.", he replies.
"I don't think we need to make fun of him. Our time is better spent finding where they keep the Killachines.", I say.

Evo is looking through the data. She had some assistance with other drone units flying into the factory, scanning and breaking into any computer she could find.
An hour passes. As her eyes frantically move, I can hear her shaky voice.
"Leader, we have a problem. There were two plans, one distraction plan and one major plan. And there is a chance we have no time!", Evo says.
"What's wrong", I ask her.

"It's a bit of a long story. I have found three key locations we need to break in. I found a secret lab they had hidden underground, that will be our most important target. But there are two more facilities we should break into as well.", she tells me.
"We can not do them one by one?", I ask.
"No, we don't have time. They aren't trying to flood Gamindustri with Killachines. They want to use the infinite Killachines to create an even more powerful mecha. Worst case scenario, it will rival the emperor XT6900.", Evo tells me.

We gather together so that Theresa can teleport us out of here and quite a distance away. Now walking over the fields outside of town, we discuss our next actions.
"There are three locations we need to raid. There is the office that handles their secret monetary transactions. It is also their own bank, since they refuse to trust any other bank with their money. There is the logistics warehouse that handles both the data for transport and export of goods. We should check some goods in the warehouse. We may find something that may not be legal. And the most important and likely dangerous location, the secret underground lab where we may find them building the ultimate Killachine.", Evo tells us.

"We think we should split up in three groups. We don't have time to go to each one together.", I tell them.
"I suggest we make groups of three with one tech illiterate and one knowing how a computer works.", Evo says, she actually sounds like she's making fun of us tech illiterates.
"I'll go with Evo then. The most tech illiterate should join the most tech literate.", I say.
"That makes sense to me. Um…Should I join with Dragonette?", Sili-san asks.
"Well…I know how a computer works. But I suppose you spent more time on one if you have it.", Dragonette replies.

"And I would be accompanied by Theresa. She has little experience with tech other than the phone and Lowee switch, we so lovingly gifted her.", Acclaim states.
I cross my arms nodding. I tell them, "I think this set up works. Sili-san and Dragonette should target the warehouse. They should be able to find whatever goods they have inside in case they can't get to the computer. Acclaim and Theresa should aim for the office. Evo and myself will be going to the lab, since I am the strongest and can handle whatever they have stationed there.", I tell them.

"Do note, the warehouse is pretty well defended with armed guards, and since it may have illegal goods, you could go wild there. All locations are in more secluded areas, so we have time before Lowee officials arrive. The office is closer to Lowee army bases, a city somewhat in the distance and other business facilities, yet it still is pretty much separated from it all, making it easier for us to infiltrate. Not as much defense either.", Evo tells us.
We have all we need to know, so we head out.

Evo knows the layout of the secret lab. There are two entrances to the underground site. Above it was what looked like a military base, but that one was legally purchased when it fell out of use for the army. Avenir was allowed to test mecha and weapons on the premises, but the lab may have been a new addition they made in secret. We do not plan to infiltrate from the camp's entrance. There is an exit that can be used to get down. The only thing we needed was for someone to want to escape…

Evo launches her 2080X into the base, since it is fully automated. Alongside it were a bunch of 1080X and 2070X units. The other exit was located in some flat-land near a forest. That is where we waited. A large diagonal elevator moved out of the ground as it opened up. A plane was about to fly out. Evo flies up to it and breaks into the plane. Drugging the ones inside to make them sleep. The plane crashes into the ground as Evo flies back down. She lies down the bodies next to the trees and makes sure they have a heat source so they do not freeze.

We quickly get onto the elevator.
"Now, they may have cameras and know we've gotten in.", Evo says.
"It should be fine. You can keep this elevator moving even if they shut it down, right?", I reply.
"You betcha!", she responds with glee.
Even if they shut down the elevator, we can use either electricity to make it move, or I could hop on Evo's mecha where we fly down the shaft.

In the next few minutes, it has turned into a war zone. We are in the long hallways of this lab, combatting various mecha and machine monsters. Nothing new for us of course. They are a little stronger than the enemies in the factory. This hallways can be tight, so I occasionally switch to knives to easily go through enemies. Evo has my back with her mecha blocking the way of enemies I miss behind me.
We cause absolute havoc and destruction everywhere we go.

We encounter many different experimental rooms that aren't too big. So far, we didn't see anything in regards to awful human experimentation. Evo described it as mostly testing tools regarding space and time manipulation. Otherwise we find pretty normal testing rooms testing plants, water, non-painful experiments of animals. Later we see larger rooms for machinery and robotics. And of course, weapon testing. Eventually, we open this small door, not expecting to run inside this giant dark room. The door closes by itself and locks down behind us. It was weird, no more enemies spawned.

"I see. So these are the famous Phantom Crusaders…But just you two? I was hoping I could catch all of you.", a voice sounded to us. We look to the left to see a window that isn't fully transparent to us, but there is light coming from it.
"This may be a combat test room. It's size indicates large mecha get tested here.", Evo tells me.
"I was wondering why we lost contact with our factory, our financial office and warehouse. I wonder what it is you're up to? Well, I can't let you leave with your life.", he tells us.
He presses a switch, a purple vortex appears above us, as do lights turn on.

Evo had to shield her eyes from the light, which was bright at first but slowly got dimmer. From the vortex, a different colored Killachine falls out.
"Face the Killachine mk3!", he shouts.
"Fatal Fist!", Evo shouts as she shoots a beam through the window, knocking the guy out.
"We can't let him escape while we deal with this enemy. Right, Leader?", Evo says.
"Good thinking. Though I am surprised you could break through glass reinforced to take explosions from giant mecha fights.", I say.

"It wasn't resisting drilling energy beams for long, I can assure you no such glass exists. Usually they would have a barrier up, but this one didn't.", Evo tells me. The Killachine before us is a lot stronger. That said, a lot stronger from pathetically weak isn't saying much. But it could actually damage us. Still, its swipes are easily deflected by me and Evo. It tries to paralyze us with some kind of mist.
Evo flies around it and has it under fire with grenades and rockets. But we aren't damaging it as quickly, and I do think it has a lot more HP than the other Killachine.

I hit it with an axe as well and do decent damage to it. It shoots flame tornadoes and energy spikes at us, but in the end it can only hurt us a little bit. Evo isn't affected by any flames.
"I don't feel like wasting time.", I say to Evo.
"Want to try that technique?", Evo asks me.
"I think that would kill him instantly.", I tell her.
"If we break his guard, we should be fine.", Evo replies to me with a smirk.

I let her beat up the machine, flying around and delivering drilling punches, shocking it with lightning in between until it finds itself unable to move well.
"Now then.", Evo says, before we both shout at it, "Couple EXE Drive Skill!"
I jump on 3090X's fist as Evo makes it spin around. With thrusters, she sends me flying. I use a spear as I pierce through the killachine, I land with a turn on the ground, using reflection to shoot the spear through him at light speed followed by a medium light blade shot from my sword held in the left hand.

Next, I shoot hundreds of arrows whereas Evo fires bullets at him from the other side. I Light Step into the air with Evo next to me, her fists spinning and gathering energy while I light up two swords and fuse them together.
"FusionStar…"
"Fists of fury…"
"Light Array!", we both shout. She throws her hands together with her torso also opening up to fire a beam, her triple beams combine into one large one, next to my white beam shot from my blades. They create an explosion together upon hitting the Killachine below.

We land down. I stretch for a bit.
"Hm…This thing would have been a problem for me if I kept fighting it.", she says.
"You're level isn't as high as ours yet.", I stop stretching to mention that.
"Even though my mecha is far better…", she says like she's disappointed, but her smile doesn't fade. I hop onto her mecha as she flies us into the window.
"Oh? The man is gone?", Evo says, leaning forward from within her cockpit.
"Hm… I think he dragged himself away. I'll run after him!", I say.

I can sense him. He indeed is just crawling somewhere. I run after him.
But I seem to be rather late. He gets into some kind of pod after shouting back, "Get away from me you monsters!" I get to the pod, but it just gets launched into the sky. Looking from below, I could only fly after it if I transformed…Evo doesn't fit through here either. The pod is incredibly quick too.

I head to wherever Evo went.
Inside a room with large computers.
"Yo, Leader. Did you get him?", she asks me.
"He escaped in an escape pod. I could maybe still fly after him.", I answer.
"Ah…Don't bother. This computer has stored most data from Avenir as far as I can gather. The details are juicy.", she says.

She's tapping away.
"Ho ho…It seems indeed that the others are done infiltrating as well. I have send hacking machines their way. A lot of money is spent buying illegal parts for robots. Some bank accounts registered…It would seem they use code words and not real names however…But there are two individuals with the most money, they may be the leaders. …Ah…They are called Signe and Ganache, I think I read their names to you before. I have their addresses but…I don't think they have been to their homes for a while. Not since SCJP was crumbling… There are goods delivered to…Wait…", she thinks out loud as she keeps tapping away.

The color is drained from her face as she is staring at the screen. I have never seen her like that, even when we were fighting the emperor.
She puts on a smile, but is drenched in cold sweat as she looks at me and says, "Leader…We have to hurry. This may be the worst situation.", she says.
When asking for details, she says, "There was indeed a plan to flood Gamindustri with Killachines, but that was meant to be a distraction for us. They are unleashing them close to Lowee now that we have infiltrated their bases. While we fight them, they will be able to complete their super mecha.", she tells me.

"…If we let the Killachines go, people will get hurt, right?", I ask.
I hear beeping noises within her mecha. A screen appears before her, even wiping her smile off.
"That is what makes this bait perfect…My 3070X units had gone to the area I calculated would be filled with Killachines and…There are a nine-hundred-thousand of them. If we go to the location their mecha is being made, we can stop it…But not even Rom, Ram and C-sha could defeat a million killachines in time. They will get hurt, even worse, before they are find out, cities will be destroyed.", she tells me.

I understand the situation. We have to stop the killachines to save Lowee, and that means having no choice but to fight another super mecha.
"Well that's fine. Isn't it?", I say that, making her looked confused at me.
"Would it be nice if we could ignore the bait and let others clean up that mess? Maybe. But we are doing this for Lowee no less than Rom, Ram and C-sha. We can't let anyone get hurt. We'll just have to kill them real quick and go fight some super robot. We've all gotten a lot stronger, maybe we'll even get there in time and stop the super mecha anyway.", is the speech I give her.

She smiles again and says tapping away, "We'll do it real quick then. I am messaging the others and we'll meet them where the killachines are.". she says.
The killachines are not very far away from us, they are in a wasteland across the forest to the south. They may spread out to both Lowee and Planeptune.
Evo has me on top of her mecha as we fly over the forest. We land when we see Theresa and Acclaim in the distance.

"There are so many of them over there…", Theresa tells him.
"Are you afraid, Lion? I have your back, do not fret.", he replies.
She smiles at him and says, "I feel no fear. With all of us, we win. I have no doubt."
Acclaim pats her head and tells her, "You've become brave. You don't even feel panicked when someone touches you anymore."
"Your metal hands are a bit rough, though.", her reply made Acclaim stop and say, "Excuse myself, I had forgotten."
Theresa giggles at him and says, "It's fine!"
She looks over to the sea of Killachines. She says, "I have nothing to fear anymore. That pain is gone forever. I have become so much stronger. And I have met so many friends…I have seen so much of the world now… I know we can overcome anything."

"Ho~ Are we interrupting a moment now?", Evo asks as we walk up to them.
"Not at all. We've been waiting, however.", Acclaim says, he's actually smiling for once.
Theresa runs up to me and hugs my arm, "Leader's here!", she says.
I feel a bit awkward whenever I get hugged.
I ask her, "Huh? What? Um…Why the hug in the middle of a mission?"
"I just feel like it…", she says rubbing her face on my arm.
"Our mission went smoothly. I think the operation kindled our spirits for an unexplainable reason. Perhaps because we are so close to our goal, or because we have realized how strong we've gotten as fighters and as friends.", Acclaim explains.

"Huh…" I don't quite get it. But maybe pitting the newest member with the founder doesn't get the same morale boost yet. I did feel happy when meeting Sili-san in the desert I guess…
Speaking of which, he falls from the sky with Dragonette. The two land on a net.
"Phew…I thought we were going to have a rough landing for a second.", Dragonette says as she gets off the web created on the ground.
"I have never flung myself with that much strength. I knew I could soften our landing, but I couldn't help but get scared in the middle of the way.", Sili-san replies.

"Despite being scared so often, you do a lot of brave actions and speeches. How interesting.", Dragonette says smiling.
Even they are getting along better.
"Wait, are we last! NO! All that effort for nothing!", Dragonette shouts.
"Don't worry. Your raid location was the furthest away.", I say.
"Hoho…I calculated you'd come half an hour later with your slower speed.", Evo says.
"We just set up this massive catapult system.", Sili-san says.
"Hm…I see, I see. How did Lion and Claimer get here so fast, I wonder?", Evo asks.
"Teleportation.", Acclaim simply answers.
"I've been here enough on quests after all…", Theresa says leaning sideways.

"Yeah, we can't beat teleportation.", Sili-san reacts to that with a simple expression.
"Either way, I heard it's urgent, Leader. May we get a full report?", Acclaim asks.
Evo speaks for me instead.
"I have all the information. Allow me. First, we have to deal with this sea of Killachines. They had them infinitely spawn in another facility for the last few weeks. They used their spawn portal for many experiments and made sure to use their parts for robotics. They had learned from moving spawn points to teleport this large swath of Killachines. Rather, they were stored up like items inside an inventory."

"That is insane! So there may be more?", Sili-san asks.
"From what I'm reading. Barely. The few spare ones were given to facility leaders, one of which Leader and myself have destroyed, one of them was destroyed in the World Labyrinth. Here is the problem, they have also learned to manipulate the spawn rate. The number before we arrived was 900.000, but now, they are at one million. I see your eyes are already wide, but let me elaborate. You see, there were only 500.000 stored up and in the past few hours their numbers had increased drastically. Originally, one spawn occasionally from the spawn point or a few seconds after the destruction of one monster. But they increased the speed, their method was using a code that alters its spawn rate to increase over time when NO killachine gets destroyed.", Evo tells us.

"We have to quickly stop their spawning and destroy one million killachines of various variants and strengths. A super Mecha will be ready to fight us after.", I say.
"We have to hurry on that front too. They are using a poor area to experiment this super weapon, potentially hurting a lot of civilians. We'd have to evacuate them, too.", Evo says.
"Easier said than done…*sigh* why do we get the crazy missions.", Sili-san says, hanging with his arms low.
"We'll blow them up!", Theresa shouts.
"Considering our first encounter, they aren't too powerful.", Acclaim comments.
"Some can be stronger, just save your big attacks for them and we'll be fine. The spawn point is on the other end. I need to insert the Lowee Mascot disc andwe'll stop it.", I say.

With that, our mission is clear. We run in to fight a millions Killachines. Fortunately, it's snowing. Hundreds are already flung into the sky as we charge in with powerful attacks. Me with my "UnionStar Helios Slash", my light slash tearing thousands apart.
Acclaim simply copies my move, albeit, the non-snow version.
Theresa casts a large beam of light that she then tears apart into tens of thousands of sparkles that start turning into comets blowing up many of them as well.
The other three don't have many fancy attacks, but they are going to kill more over time.

Sili-san actually has a perfect time here. His string makes it easy to have them hit each other, or he forces them to crash into each other. He uses their power and lack of intelligence to push and pull each other inside his strings as he carefully cuts the weaker Killachines apart.
Evo drills through many of them with "Fatal Fist!" she flies above them and drops grenades and bombs down, mixing that with lightning strikes that they are weak to.
Sometimes, she may fly down to punch them, as they are so weak, even enough punches kills them.

The real problems are the Mk-03s and the even stronger units. Yet, Sili-san's string still works on them, and if he uses wires and combines them with Theresa's lightning, they don't stay alive for long either. Dragonette activates Tornado armor, turning her limbs into shields that block attacks from the Mk-03 and stronger Killachines. The normal ones don't even do damage to us, so she runs through them wildly swinging her spear. Whenever a group of higher leveled Killachine monsters appears, she uses that attack where she turns into a wind drill to destroy or heavily damage them, barraging them with razor whirlwinds after. At some point, she gets surrounded by even stronger killachines. These were actually quicker and shoot large lasers at her.

Theresa gives her some help. She casts Giant Green Tornado on Dragonette, her spear absorbing the wind element to do an even crazier wind attack, with the swing after a rotation of her whole body, she unleashes a hurricane of blades that sends the killachines flying by the tens of thousands, all torn up into spare parts as they fall down. Sili-san also supports Dragonette, letting her jump on his strings and catapulting her through certain enemies. He even strings her up so that when she flies over to a Killachine like a drill, the razor strings unwrap and cut through the metal.

Sili-san's string cutter makes pretty short work of Killachine-mk2s as he jumps over their axes and mauls.
Acclaim has every weapon he needs, only getting more from Killachine attacks. The stronger ones using lasers at him only gave him their abilities. He even learned their paralysis mist, unfortunately they resist that.
Theresa creates a giant flaming wall, she then turns into a gate.

"Lion's gate. Lionhead Flame Barrage EX!", she says, making an even more powerful version of her spell as she summons forth a hundred lions. Even if they resist flame, the regular Killachines die from one just passing through them, eventually, many killachine-MK3s get bitten by said lions and explode in flames.
Theresa teleports above the horde the avoid the lasers scorching the ground beneath her. From above, she launches a beam of light that blows a few dozen up.

Upon her landing, all of us get barraged by High Explosion fire magic. It doesn't damage us much or break through magical barriers Theresa and Acclaim can set up. But Sili-san's strings get torn, getting him stuck between Killachines that are strong enough to damage him.
"Ice Coffin!", Theresa shouts, creating an ice ridge between him and the Killachines in the front. From his back, Acclaim shoots a beam of light shouting, "FuisionStar Light Beam!"
Theresa creates explosions within the ice she had summoned and takes control of the ice shards to fly them through even more Killachines nearby Sili-san, Sili-san can even capture the ice shards and fling them over onto even more Killachines.

"Oh…Help is here!", Evo shouts excitingly. From our rear came hundreds of 1080X units, a dozen 2080X units, a dozen 3070X units and a few dozen 2070X units. They make sure every Killachine we miss gets blown up. The only downside is, the 1080X can get damaged from the lower end Killachines, but they do a lot of damage to them in return. I have gone ahead. My friends do most of the destroying for now. I need to get to their spawn point and close it. I have two blades engulfed with lights as I run past them and cut whatever is besides me or in my way. Sometimes I glide under, because they float. Sometimes stronger unites appear, I jump over them and make a safe landing spot by blasting the ones underneath with another Helios Slash.

Up ahead, I see three stronger Killachines with a chrome-blue-ish look. They shoot three beams at me and combine them together before the impact. I manage to block it, but it hurts my arm as they push me back. Eventually, I deflect it to my right. They suddenly zoom over to me, like they turned into lasers before surrounding me. I crouch to absorb their impact as I block their strikes. I intensify the light bursting from my swords as I unwind my legs and thrust them up, deflecting their weapons.

I immediately use a strong burst of Light Step to get high in the air, evading their lasers in the process.
"Dual UnionStar Helios Slash!", fusing both blades with snow turned to light, I shoot two massive blades of lights that leave huge explosions behind. I don't pay further attention, my only goal is to reach the spawn point. I perform a cross slash below me to land on top of destroyed Killachines. Then I move forward.

It's time to utilize the snow. "Snow Air Cutter", I shout, splitting tens of thousands of them in half as a blade travels over the snow flakes increasing in size and sharpness. It leaves a pretty nice road to the spawn point, though it will be filled soon. I run either way, side stepping high explosion magic and laser beams along the way. As the gap is getting filled, I try to feel the snow around me. I create walls of snow in the sky before separating them and turning them into light. I let them swirl around me before scattering them like large razor blades combined in waves, cutting through killachines around me. Some of them I turn into Light blades to blow them up.

Cutting my way through, I am getting rather close to reaching the spawn point.
Out of it spawns an irregular unit. Multiple had spawned, one for each of us. I guess it is a response to us killing so many of them.
Storming through many Killachines, a large human-shaped round bulky black mecha with wheels under its feet charges through killachines, destroying a few in the process to get to Sili-san.

Its strength tears his strings apart as he moves in to punch him, Sili-san flings himself away in response, dodging its gatling gun fire while catching a few bullets and returning them back it, but its defenses are too high, even its own metal penetrating bullets don't affect it. Even so, when it drove to Sili-san, he simply used his "Red Strings!", to create a net of red strings to slice him apart.

Theresa had the most trouble, a tiny droid her size kind of looking like a human jelly-fish flies around her, every spell is getting reflected back to her.
Dragonette was running after her spear attacks and body blows did nothing to a speedy mecha with a tank-like lower body. Its outer-layer was made of rubber, but cutting it did nothing either, its material absorbs all physical attacks.

Dragonette runs over to Theresa and says, "Let's switch!"
Theresa nods and turns around as Dragonette runs by her. Focusing her aim at the rubber mecha, she summons a Great Fire Wall before curving it. She shoots a giant beam of fire shouting, "Great Fire Beam!", melting through that mecha and a few Killachines nearby.
Dragonete keeps shooting the jellyfish mecha with wind attacks made of pure magic. However, the wind reflected back to her gets absorbed into her Naginata.

"Thanks for the power boost! This next wind attack is not magic.", she says grinning. She shoots herself through the jellyfish mecha using, "Tatsumaki Daigeki!" combined with Tornado Armor.
Evo was attacked in the sky by a machine that transformed into a jet and into a humanoid on the fly. Despite that, its flaming attacks have no effect on Evo, and lightning attacks get countered. But this mecha was about as fast as her and could avoid multiple projectiles too.

On the ground, Acclaim is met with a machine that constantly transforms. It was overly large with no real discerning shape, like a blob of transforming machinery. It could suddenly use jet engines to move fast, or create walls to block attacks. It waits for an attack to counter-attack, its fighting style close to what Acclaim's used to be.

At some point, Evo and her opponent were above him. When the plane mecha transformed into its jet form, Acclaim used his strings to fling the plane mecha onto the blob mecha, the blob mecha did not respond for, I assume, it didn't see the plane mecha crashing into it as an attack.
"Fatal Fist!", Evo shouts, her spiral beam just missing the plane mecha as it flew away, but the blob didn't react, perhaps it doesn't do anything when a stronger machine is nearby. The fatal fist drilled through it, causing it to stop transforming.

"UnionStar Light Slash!", Acclaim shouts, using the same move multiple times together with Evo targeting all her projectiles onto it until the blob mecha breaks apart and ceases movement. The plane mecha could freely attack Evo with a beam, but she gets pulled away by Sili-san. Acclaim Light Steps over to the plane mecha and punches it under Evo, now gaining its abilities as well. Evo and Acclaim fly over the plane mecha, grappling as they drag it onto the ground. Afterwards, they fly away and let a few 1080X unit embrace it before it could do anything. They self-destructed and leave a large explosion behind.

My enemy came at me at high speed. I had to do a short side-step to dodge its charge with his fist thrust forward. In the blink of an eye, he was behind me. This robot the perfect size of a human with a single red eye in the middle of its face. It immediately switched its hands to gatling guns, barely missing me as I jump over him, casting explosion to get to him even quicker. I try to hit him with my light blades, but his fists can block all damage as he stops me and parries the next sword attack.

I step to the right to avoid his thrust kick, but he tries to back-hand me with his left fist right after, which I duck under, then I jump away to avoid his leg sweep. A bright flash comes from his hand after he turns around, right after, a large photon beam is shot at me. I block it, my feet dragged over the ground until I find the strength to redirect it in two beams behind me.
He does his speedy charge attack again, I duck under his fist and try to stab him under his arm, but he hops around me and performs a spin kick, I use my other blade as I turn to receive his kick.

Some kind of wave pulsed out of his leg as he pushes me quite a distance with his leg.
He stands still as Killachines gather around us. I have no time to waste. I will destroy all in my path. I hold up my two blades that flare with light with the words, "EXE Drive Skill."
Together with the snow around me turned to light, I mow down killachines and knock back the irregular robot with a flurry of slashes as I run forward. I speed around them with Light Step until I lift the irregular up into the air with spin slashes before knocking him down on top of Killachines.

I fuse the snow and two light blades together before going down and shouting, "FusionStar Helios Slash!", unleashing a large wave of light from my slashes that eliminates tens of thousands of Killachines alongside the irregular, a scorched path opening to the spawn point. Then, I run. Before any Killachine can make it, I run and run until I reach the elevated platform, jumping on top. Finally, I made it. I insert a pedestal made by Evo and place the disc on top of it. The portal closes.

"I am amazed and proud of your work. Even if you are not officially a Goddess, I believe you are no lesser. I do have to apologize, I can not reverse the spawning of these monsters. I am deeply sorry.", Lowee's mascot tells me.
"It's okay. We'll handle the rest…", I tell her, smiling at her.
I want to keep up the morale. I look down on the battlefield where my friends are. I raise my sword and shout, "The portal is closed! But we have to defeat these guys ourselves! Even so, we're not losing, are we?! Kill a thousand every second! We already did the hard part after all!", I shout.
I can see them smile as they destroy more Killachines. I jump in with Light Step, and join them. We can not use all of our strength, due to the super mecha potentially spawning when we arrive. We need most of our strength for that fight. But for now, we are busy killing hundreds of thousands of Killachines.
