Still unarmed and limbless, Crusadermon crashed into the ground violently. Her body started to glow again. "Not yet..." Kiryu used another Revive Capsule on Crusadermon saving her.

Crusadermon weakly lifted her head off the ground. "P-please...mercy..."

Then BlitzGreymon stomped on her face. She screamed in pain at the crushing pressure. "You have some nerve to ask for mercy after what you did."

"Agreed." CresGarurumon said before slamming his spear into Crusadermon's back. "Did you show mercy to any of those hackers whose lives you ruined? To Subaru?! No! You laughed over their screams of torment!"

"And now..." Kiryu glared. "You will entertain us with your screams!"

BlitzGreymon pressed down harder on Crusadermon's head while CresGarurumon started twisting his spear into her back. With each rotation, Crusadermon screamed and Kiryu healed the damage with a HP Capsule. Keisuke and the others watched as Crusadermon was tortured. "...This is all wrong..." Keisuke said.

"Why?" MetalSeadramon asked. "The plan is working perfectly."

"This isn't the man we met at the tower who helped us. Who saved Sayo and Koh's lives. Who protected his little brother from those punks...this is...Brother Sorrow. Kiryu is losing himself..."

"I agree." Hudiemon said. "The point of the plan is to save Kiryu from Brother Sorrow. And Kiryu Tenjo would be more likely to tell us how to free Alphamon then Brother Sorrow."

CresGarurumon lifted up Crusadermon by her spear. Kiryu healed her with another HP Capsule before his Digimon flung her into a wall. "Not yet...You still haven't suffered as much as we have!"

Crusadermon whimpered as BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon marched towards her again. "S-stop! Stay away from me!" With no limbs she couldn't even crawl away.

Diaboromon then ran in front of Crusadermon with Arata and Luche on his two Digimon stopped in front of him."Arata!" Keisuke gasped.

Arata looked at Crusadermon. "Looks like our plan was successful." He glanced at Kiryu. "Maybe a little too successful..."

"Move aside." Kiryu glared.

"Kiryu, this is wrong, and you know it!" Luche said.

"As a soldier you should know that this right here counts as a war crime." Arata added.

"I don't care." Kiryu replied. "What she did to Subaru was an even greater crime. Her actions caused Chitoste and Ryuji to suffer too! Don't you want her to repent as well?!"

"Of course I do!" Arata replied.

"You think we would forget what she has done? Never!" Justimon said. "But we don't want to see vengeance consume anyone else. I'll never forget what it did to Ryuji. It wasn't Crusadermon's hold on him that turned him into a monster. It was Ryuji's own hatred. I don't want to see another good man suffer that!"

"It's far too late for that." Kiryu replied. "This is your final warning: Get out of my way! If you don't, I'll destroy you along with her!" BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon looked ready to attack them.

"Kiryu, don't do this." Keisuke said. "It's not what Subaru would-

"Don't! Even. *Try* that on me!" Kiryu glared pointing at him. "Subaru was my brother! Not yours! You have no right to speak for someone you don't even know!"

"Maybe you're right. I don't know Subaru. But I do know what it means to be a brother. A brother is someone who always looks out for his family. Who does what is best for them and not just what their impulse tells them. Kiryu, you're better then this. Better than her!" Keisuke said as he gestured to Crusadermon.

"Tormenting her isn't going to undo what happened to your brother." Arata said. "Thinking only of vengeance, without considering what happens afterwords... that's what led Crusadermon into doing the things she did in our world!"

Kiryu's eyes widened while holding his glared. "Kiryu, we both know what's truly been guiding your actions all this time." Hudiemon said. "It's not your promise to your mother or your solder's sense of duty. It's your hatred. Towards Yuuko. And now towards Crusadermon. Think carefully about this. Is someone who thinks only of revenge truly the kind of brother Subaru deserves?" Kiryu withheld a gasp as his glare wavered. "This is your chance to make the right choice. For your family."

Kiryu's gave shifted to Crusadermon. After a pause his eyes squeezed shut. "Fine! Do whatever you want with this maggot. She's already dead to me."

"You made the right choice Kiryu." Keisuke said. "Thank you."

Hudiemon turned around to what was left of Crusadermon. "Well then "Royal Knight". We have some questions for you. Why don't we take this back to the city?" As the group approached Crusadermon, Kiryu walked towards the door. But then a white light rained down in front of Crusadermon blocking Hudiemon. "What?!"

Kiryu turned around looking at the light. "This is...!"

"What a pathetic state I find you in Crusadermon."

"Y-your majesty..."

The light died down revealing Leopardmon. "Well look who it is." Diaboromon scoffed. "The big cheese himself."

"So this is Leopardmon..." Keisuke gasped.

Leopardmon looked at Kiryu. "So, Brother Sorrow, I take it this means you're turning your back to the Next Order?"

"My name is Kiryu Tenjo!"

"I guess with your last human agent turning on you and feeding your self-proclaimed brilliant strategist dirt you decided to see us as a threat that needs to be delt with personally?" Hudiemon smirked.

"Ha! Since when does a king need to sully his hands on vermin? I am not here for you fools." He turned his head towards Crusadermon. "I am here for this fool who allowed herself to be bitten by her own dog."

Crusadermon bowed her head. "Forgive me your majesty! I was tricked!"

"So I see. You came here alone knowing this was a trap you dolt!"

"I thought I could handle it myself!"

"Preposterous! You just wanted to torment the humans like this was some game!"

"I-I'm sorry milord...please...help me..."

Leopardmon scoffed. "You bringing humans to the Next Order has been both beneficial and hindering in equal measure. I will let this decide whether or not you deserve to remain in our ranks." He held up his hand and a blue order with a bright red X appeared.

"That's..." Keisuke gasped.

"An X-Antibody!" Arata gaped.

"What is he going to do with that?" Luche shivered.

Leopardmon looked at them. "All the X-Antibodies we used against you before were prototypes created by BoltBoutamon. This is his first copy of his final product."

"Final product?" Hudiemon asked.

"That's right. Observe." Leopardmon threw the X-Antibody onto Crusadermon and it phased through her body.

Crusadermon gasped. He body glowed with blue light. She let slip what sounded like a scream of pain at first. But then it shifted to cackling, then maniacal laughter. "I feel it... Power... rising within! Overflowing!" A white flash made everyone shield their eyes.

As the light died down a new version of Crusadermon stood behind Leopardmon. Her armor more lustrous. Her helmet had wings. On her right arm her shield, the Pile Bunker had become a pink rose. In her left hand she held a rapier know as the Rose's Fencer. And on her back multiple ribbon blades extended in different directions. "CRUSADERMON HAS TRANSFORMED THROUGH THE POWER OF THE X-ANTIBODY."

Arata glanced as Shakkoumon. "No shit."

Crusadermon X laughed looking at her new body. "Yes! This power is wonderful!"

"You have one chance to clean up your mess." Leopardmon said pointing at their enemies. "Destroy these Resistance fools and Kiryu. Do not return until they are all dead."

Crusadermon X bowed. "Yes milord."

"Wait! Leopardmon!" Diaboromon rushed at the king but the moment he trusted his rapier into the ground he vanished in a white light. And just as it died down Crusadermon X rushed in and sucker puncher Diaboromon with the Pile Bunker smashing him into a wall before he, Arata and Luche dropped to the floor.

"Arata! Luche!" Keisuke shouted.

The little girl whimpered from on the floor. "Ow..." She noticed Arata was lying on the floor next to her unconscious and started shaking him. "Arata, wake up!"

Crusadermon X laughed. "Well then, now that I have this generous gift from my king, how about I put it to the test? Nightmare!" With one blast of magic Shakkoumon was rendered unconscious.

"Shakkoumon!" Justimon gasped. "So, this is an X-Antibody...in the hands of a Royal Knight..."

"Damn you!" Kiryu shouted. His Digimon rushed towards Crusadermon X.

"Beast Cyclone!" CresGarurumon spun towards the knight, but his spear was halted by the thrusted Rose's Fencer. CresGarurumon growled and strained against the sword that held him back with little effort on Crusadermon X's part.

BlitzGreymon flew up to the knight's right. "Plasma Stake!" Crusadermon X blocked his attack with her new rose's Pile Bunker without looking at him.

She flung CresGarurumon aside then charged at BlitzGreymon. "Fist of Athena!"

"Elect Guard!" BlitzGreymon summoned a shield but it instantly shattered against the Pile Bunker he was slammed into a wall. Crusadermon X held up the Rose's Fencer and came at him for a stab.

"Freeze Frame!" Kiryu snapped his fingers at Crusadermon X, but she didn't pause this time. "What?! BlitzGreymon!"

The crimson Digimon gasped as the knight was upon him, but Justimon flew in and pulled him out of the way before the sword was stabbed into the wall behind him. As Justimon dropped him off next to Kiryu Keisuke spoke up. "Looks like our interests are aligning again."

"So it would seem." Kiryu replied as Crusadermon X withdrew her sword from the wall.

The Royal Knight laughed. "That works for me. After all I was ordered to kill you all anyway. Come!"

PileVolcamon ran up and punched her in the face. She didn't even react to it. She just swatted him. "River of Power!" Crusadermon X laughed as she took MetalSeadramon' signature attack.

"Bee Cyclone!" TyrantKabuterimon summoned a swarm of bugs around her.

"Noblesse of Rouge!" All the bugs were swallowed up by pink petals and torn apart before Crusadermon X flew at TyrantKabuterimon and slashed him with her blade.

"Keisuke, your Data Types aren't affecting her!" Hudiemon said. "And TyrantKabuterimon isn't strong enough! But a Vaccine X-Antibody would be perfect against her!"

Keisuke nodded. "Right!" He put his visor on. "It's EXE time!"

Crusadermon X heard that and turned to Hudiemon. "Hell Crusher!" Dark waves came at her with a swipe of the Rose Fencer.

"Erika!" Keisuke shoved Hudiemon out of the way and the attacks flew past them and into a wall. "That was close." Keisuke was about to get up when he felt a rumble and looked up just as a chunk of the ceiling came down on him.

"Keisuke!" Hudiemon sprung back to her feet. She ran towards her friend whose right arm and head stuck out from under the rubble. He weakly groaned. "Keisuke, hold on!" Hudiemon grunted trying to pull the debris off. "A little help here?!"

PileVolcamon ran towards Keisuke to help but Crusadermon X charged into him with her shield smashing him into a wall. "Now that both humans who can use the X-Antibody are incapacitated, there's really nothing you can do to stop me is there?"

"You bitch!" Hudiemon growled getting up into the air. "Flying Kick!" She charged at Crusadermon X who caught her foot in her hand then slammed her into the ground. The ribbons on her back extended tying Hudiemon up and then threw her into a wall. BlitzGreymon fired at her again and she deflected the attack with her sword.

TyrantKabuterimon slammed into her pinning her against a wall. "Shine of Bee!" He unleashed a powerful explosion. Just as it died down, he was flung away.

Crusadermon X rubbed her shield arm. "That one stung a little."

"Skip Frame!" BlitzGreymon appeared above Crusadermon Crusadermon was about to strike when CresGarurumon made his move.

"Fury: Ice Moon Fang!" He slammed his spear into the ground summoning ice that trapped Crusadermon X's legs and shield arm.

As BlitzGreymon pointed his turrets down at Crusadermon, Kiryu activated a ATK Boost. "Go to hell!"

"Thunder Vernier!" BlitzGreymon fired at full power shooting golden electricity down on Crusadermon X. When it was done, all that was left was the hole where she once stood.

"Did that do it?" Luche asked looking at the hole.

Hudiemon heard laughter. "No." They watched Crusadermon X rise from the hole without even a scratch on her.

"This is incredible. A Royal Knight with the X-Antibody. I am now on par with that fool Alphamon!"

"You won't have your way!" Justimon shouted as he and Hudiemon along with Keisuke and Kiryu's Digimon rushed at her.

The ribbon blades on Crusadermon X's back extended. "Lord of Fraternity!" She started moving through the small army of Digimon with dance-like movements. Once she was behind them, they all collapsed.

"Oh, no!" Luche trembled at the sight of the Royal Knight's power.

"Hold on!" Kiryu opened a menu on his Digivice to heal his Digimon only to find out... "D-damn! I used all of my healing items on Crusadermon...!"

"Ah yes..." Crusadermon X turned towards him. "You used a lot to heal me and saved my life multiple times...so you could torture me more. How about I return the favor?" She started walking towards Kiryu.

CresGarurumon gasped and grabbed his spear. "Get away from Kiryu!" He charged towards Crusadermon X's back.

"Fist of Athena!" She turned around and punched him in the face knocking him out. BlitzGreymon got behind her and prepared to fire. "Spiral Masquerade!" Without turning around her ribbons slashed at him until he collapsed.

"BlitzGreymon!" Kiryu shouted. "CresGarurumon!"

Crusadermon X then turned to Kiryu then in an instant was in front of him and kicked him. The human gasped as the air left his lungs before he slammed into a wall then hit the ground. Crusadermon X laughed as she walked towards Kiryu while he was down. "No!" Luche shouted running towards Crusadermon X. The knight stopped to look at her and the little girl froze. "Ah...!"

Crusadermon X stared at the child shivered. "Hmph. That's right, know your place." She turned back to Kiryu who groaned as he looked up from the ground. "Torturing you is as fun as I remember torturing humans Kiryu. But not as much as much fun as it is to torment your brother. Watching him break day by day as I made him relive his worst experience...I wonder if I can break you eventually, but alas the king told me to stop playing around and execute you. A solder's orders are their duty, yes?" Kiryu simply spat at her foot. "Hmph." Crusadermon X pointed her Rose's Fencer at him. "The king was right. I have gotten too lax with you. How sad that I have to put my pet down now."

"Flying Kick!" Hudiemon kicked Crusadermon X in the back who took no damage from it but turned around to her. "Infinity Dream!" Hudiemon's eyes glowed at Crusadermon. The knight extended her ribbons at her. Hudiemon gasped as some coiled around each of her forearms, each of her shins, around the neck and around her middle.

Crusadermon started to crush the immobilized human/Digimon hybrid in her grasp. "You proposed we settle our score here, is that right Erika Mishima? Very well."

Hudiemon gasped as her limbs were pulled in separate directions. She screamed as the grip on her neck and midsection caused her to lose air while her arms and legs felt ready to come off. Keisuke started to drift back into consciousness as he hard screaming and looked up to see Hudiemon trapped in Crusadermon's ribbons. "Erika!" He grunted trying to get off the rubble on top of him.

The ribbon around Hudiemon's neck slithered upward wrapping around her mouth muffins her screams while making it harder to breath. Crusadermon X grinned. "Goodbye Erika. You die as you lived. Weak and helpless. GAH!" Something shot her in the shoulder making her stumble and let go of Hudiemon who collapsed onto the floor. "Who...?" She looked to the hole Kiryu made earlier and saw Rapidmon Armor. "You!"

"Get away from them Crusadermon!" Yuuko shouted from Samudramon's shoulder as he jumped into the room. BlackWarGreymon, and Dorugoramon went in with Rapidmon Armor who carried Takumi and Rosemon Burst Mode carried Ami inside with Kuzuhamon and Ophanimon. Agunimon and Lobomon rode Phoenixmon into the room and Sakuyamon flew in with TigerVespamon joining in with Fei.

"You guys...!" Keisuke gasped. "What are you doing here?!"

Fei smirked at him. "We weren't about to let ya hog all the fun."

Crusadermon X turned to them. "Well look who it is. More Resistance rats to crush."

"You..." Kiryu growled standing up.

"Kiryu, are you alright?" Yuuko asked.

"Shut up. Receiving concern from you of all people makes me want to throw up."

"Heh. If he can talk like that, I think he'll be fine." Fei grinned

Takumi jumped down from Rapidmon Armor as Rosemon Burst Mode put Ami down. "Crusadermon's appearance changed." Takumi said. "Is this and X-Antibody's work?"

"A gift from the king himself." Crusadermon replied. "And that's not all. This new X-Antibody that BoltBoutamon created further enhances my strength. I have surpassed even your precious Alphamon!"

"We'll see about that!" Rapidmon Armor and Rosemon Burst Mode charged into Crusadermon X who shielded herself with the Pile Bunker.

BlackWarGreymon went over and threw the debris off of Keisuke while Ami ran over to shake Arata. "Arata, are you okay?!"

The teen groaned as he regained consciousness. He looked up to Ami's concerned expression and smiled. "Well, this is a pretty sight to wake up to."

Ami's cheeks slightly pinkened as she playfully swatted his shoulder. "You shameless flirt."

"Look who's talking."

"Look you two, we got a lot going on here right now." Rosemon Burst Mode grinned as she and Rapidmon Armor backed away from Crusadermon X. "So, either get up and help out or just kiss already."

"How about getting everyone back on their feet first?"

"Of course. Perfect Revival!" Rosemon Burst Mode glowed, and green light enveloped Keisuke, Kiryu and Arata's Digimon as well as Hudiemon, Justimon and Shakkoumon. One by one they got back up.

Yuuko and Fei got off their Digimon. "Crusadermon, I have come to end this." the girl in black and white declared.

Crusadermon X looked at her. "Still seeking revenge for what I did to your father even though he now lives? How petty you humans are. You and Kiryu really are no different."

Yuuko closed her eyes. "...Maybe you're right. Ever since I learned what happened I could only think of killing you and avenging my father. Even when I heard of your return my immediate thought was to destroy you again and make you suffer for what you did. ...But I see now how empty revenge is. How it does nothing to ease the pain of the past. All it does is mold you into a blackhearted monster like the ones you despise. Makes you create mistakes you will regret even more. Pushes you away from those you hold dear. It took me so long to realize this because I felt I was alone for so long..." Yuuko looked around. "But now I have my brother and my father, who I longed to see again. Takumi, who showed me a brighter way to live my life. Fei, who stood by my side like the sister I never knew. Ami, Nokia, Arata, Keisuke who are my irreplaceable friends... friends and family who can help me push past my pain and regret. And of course…I met Samudramon. My trusted partner. I don't need revenge anymore. Not when I have something bigger."

Fei smiled. "Aw, Yuuko."

"As long as we draw breath you are never alone." Samudramon replied.

Yuuko looked at Kiryu. "You manipulated Kiryu with his anger. Just as you did me with mine. But I am done being your puppet. Done being tied down by my anger. And done with letting you continue to use others. Hence why I have come here to end things." Yuuko pointed to Crusadermon. "You are my last tie to my grief and hate. A chain that threatens not only to tie me down to the past but drag my friends down with me. I will destroy you not to avenge my father, but to protect Takumi, Yuugo, Fei, Kiryu and everyone else I care about from you!"

Crusadermon X scoffed. "What stupidity. You think a change in goals will make you just if your means are the same?"

"Sometimes it's the thought that matters. There's more strength to be found in settlement then hate. That's what Takumi taught me."

"Find whatever strength you want. It changes nothing. I will tear you, your friends, your family and your sentiment to shreds!"

"Don't count on it ya creep." Fei glared. "Ya wanna get to Yuuko ya gotta go through me."

"Ha! You think I feel threatened by Yuuko's little dog?"

"Fei is no dog!" Yuuko glared. "Unlike you I didn't manipulate or lie to get her to help me! She chose to!"

"And ya wanna know why I made that choice?" Fei asked. "Because Yuuko here gave me a place where I felt I belong! Because she even forgave all I did to her and her friends! And because she fights for what she thinks is best for us all! Just like her brother! Even at their worst, both Yuuko and Yuugo are better then a scumbag like yerself could ever pray be!"

Crusadermon X growled. "You're just as annoying as the girl, I'll give you that!"

"Crusadermon...you wanted to hurt humans for an accident caused by a small handful of our kind. You are a being who acts out of revenge regardless of who gets caught up in it. I will prove to you and to myself once and for all that what I found to fight for is greater than that childish spite!"
Fei stepped forward. "We're gonna take ya down here! Fer the honor of Zaxon!" Both Fei's pocket and Yuuko's left wrist started to glow. They both looked at their Digivices.

"No way..." Arata gasped. "Is that...?"

Fei smirked remembering something that was given to her. She held up her Digivice. It showed images of her and her Digimon connected by bands of electricity with the words Extra Xross Evolution in the center when they became EXE she shouted "TigerVespamon! Sakuyamon! Pheonixmon! Extra Xross Evolution!"

A red X glowed on TigerVespamon's body. Fei's other two Digimon spun in place as they started to dissolve and flowed into her. In a flash a giant golden egg appeared. As it dissolved pixel by pixel it showed a transformed Sakuyamon with the black body suit being nearly almost gone exposing a lot of skin. But she had two large shoulder pads with the yin yang symbol that each stretched out a white and gold ribbon. She had white fingerless gloves and boots with bells, red ears and eyes on her mask, a red gem on her breastplate and her staff was much longer with the circle holding the rings much bigger. She held it up in one hand and held red talismans in the other. "Sakuyamon X!"

"Fei's Digimon merged and obtained an X-Antibody?!" Keisuke gasped.

"Of course!" Ami exclaimed. "Mirei said she gave Fei EXE because she has three Digimon, one of which naturally carries a X-Antibody! Just like Takumi!"

"That's amazing Fei!" Yuuko smiled before looking at her Digivice. "But I only have one Digimon who's a natural carrier of the X-Antibody…so why is my Digivice…"

"I can feel it Yuuko." Samudramon breathed. "This power has nothing to do with EXE or the X-Antibody. This…is your power."

"My power…?"

"Your serenity, your willpower that burns brightly…your feelings that are purer without vengeance clouding your heart…they're giving me more power then ever before."

Yuuko opened her eyes and held up the Digivice on her arm. "Samudramon! The emotions my friends and family drew out from me…they're yours! Let them be your strength!" White light erupted from her Digivice and rained down on her Digimon.

Samudramon roared as he was swallowed by white flames. Bit by bit his body emerged from the flame. His red and black samurai armor was different. His midsection looked like golden jaws with red eyes. He had golden horns on his helmet and white horns with a speck of glowing green on his shoulders. A red sash was tied around his waist and a green glowing x was on his chest. He had bandages around his right arm that held a massive black, and silver saber with green gems and a red zigzag through it. "Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode!"

"Wow…" Takumi gasped.

"Yuuko's Digimon achieved a new form…" Ami murmured.

Yuuko smiled at her Digimon before turning to Crusadermon X. "We're ending this. Right here, right now. It's time to sever the chains of the past Crusadermon!"

The knight got into a fighting stance. "Just try."

"Come on, let's give them a hand!" Ami said.

Takumi nodded. "Right! Rapidmon Armor! BlackWarGreymon! Dorugoramon! Extra Xross-

"Hold it!" Agunimon grabbed Takumi's arm.

"Huh?"

"This is Yuuko and Fei's fight." Lobomon said. "We mustn't interfere."

"What he said." Fei replied. "Stay outta this."

"Please Takumi." Yuuko said.

"Yuuko didn't we talk about-

"I know. I don't have to do this alone. And I'm not. I have Fei, Samudramon, and this power I obtained from all of you. You have already done so much for me. So please let me use it to fulfill my promise to my brother…to Zero."

"Yuuko…" Takumi stared blankly. "If it looks like this is going south, I'm cutting in."

"Don't worry. I'm not about to let pride blind me. I'll signal if we need help." Yuuko turned to Fei. "Are you ready?"

"I'm with ya all the way Yuuko. Now let's show this freak she's been messing with the wrong family."

Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode rushed at Crusadermon X who blocked his sword with the Pile Bunker. She thrusted her sword at him, but Sakuyamon X blocked it with her staff. Both Yuuko and Fei's Digimon slammed their free palms into Crusadermon X's chest knocking her back. "Gah! So, there's more to these new forms then just a different look. No matter. You still cannot defeat a X-Antibody Royal Knight!" She flew at them again. "Spiral Masquerade!"

Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode and Sakuyamon X used their weapons to block but they were still struck repeatedly by the weapons on Crusadermon X's back. They weathered the storm regardless then Sakuyamon X's shoulder pads glowed making the blades bounce off of light before holding a hand forward. "Izuna!" She summoned spiritual foxes of water, wind, thunder, and fire that held down Crusadermon X's weapons. "Samudramon!"

Yuuko's Digimon lifted his sword overhead and lighting stuck it surging it with electricity. Samudramon X breathed deep in focus holding his sword in his hands. "Kikurin Thunder Slash!" He dashed at Crusadermon X repeatedly slashing her with his electrified sword dashing past her and attacking from multiple angles with each slash. She blocked the hits with her sword and shield until he got a hit on her thigh that made her drop to a knee. He slashed her across the chest dashing by her and while standing behind her his sword flashed with lightning before he turned around swinging upward into her back.

"Wow…" Luche breathed. "They're so cool!"

Crusadermon X growled straightening up. "How dare you…!" She flew towards the two Digimon who braced themselves but she blew past them and grabbed Yuuko and Fei in one hand.

"Yuuko!" Takumi shouted. "Fei!"

"Don't move!" Crusadermon X turned to the group with both girls trapped in her hand. They yelped as they were squeezed. Everyone stood still not wanting the hostages hurt. Then Skauyamon X threw a talisman that cut at Crusadermon X's hand making her drop the two. Crusadermon X thrusted her sword towards Yuuko whole she was down. Then Sakuyamon X's staff was shoved into her face. Yuuko gasped looking up to see Fei with her eyes closed and her hands in front of her as if thrusting something. She activated Matrix Link with Sakuyamon X. Mirroring her partner's movements Sakuyamon X slammed the staff into Crusadermon sending her upwards and flying after her. "Noblesse of Rouge!" Sakuyamon X lost sight of her target in a swarm of petals. Then a sword knocked her staff out oh her hands and ribbon blades coiled around her just under the shoulders, around her waistline, above the knees and at the shins, binding her legs together and her arms at her body. Fei gasped as she was pulled into that same upright immobilized position via the Matrix Link. The two struggled in the trap and screamed when Crusadermon X squeezed Sakuyamon X and prepared to stab her with the Rose's Fencer.

Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode jumped up and slashed Crusadermon X in the back again. Yuuko had her eyes closed holding her hands close together like she was holding her Digimon's sword activating Matrix Link. While Crusadermon X was in pain Fei reeled her head back. As did Sakuyamoon X before they headbutted the knight and Yuuko and Samudramon X cut them lose. As they landed on the ground with Crusadermon X wincing above them Yuuko and Samudramon X spun their sword overhead. "Binding Whirlwind!" A giant tornado rose up engulfing Crusadermon X as she was spun around mercilessly.

Fei and Sakuyamon X held a hand out. "Konohanasenki-Banshou!" Countless shikigami appeared around them and charged at Crusadermon in the tornado each exploding into flowers upon contact. When the tornado dissipated Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode stepped back as Sakuyamon X slammed her staff into the floor making a magic circle around her. "Amethyst Mandala!" A golden explosion enveloped Crusadermon X.

"Amazing!" Ami cheered. "Those two are in total sync!"

"Of course, they are." Takumi grinned. "They're family. Family is about more then just blood." He turned to his Digimon who smiled back.

Crusadermon X roared glowing red. "I will not be humiliated by scum like you!" She rushed at the two Digimon and thrusted at both of them repeatedly with the Rose's Fencer. Fei and Yuuko yelped as they felt each and every stab from the sword their Digimonn took. "That's right! Scream! Writhe in pain! Suffer!"

Fei gritted her teeth. "This pain…" she and Sakuyamon X growled.

"Is nothing…" Yuuko and Samudramon Feirce Blade Mode spoke. "Compared to what we already suffered!" Samudramon Feirce Blade Mode rushed in and clashed blades with Crusadermon X. Sakuyamon X joined with her staff. They fenced with the knight for a bit. "We won't let you inflict anymore suffering on anyone else!"

"Your days of twisting people's lives with your sick games end here!" Fei and Sakuyamon X shouted as the Digimon traded blows. Both thrusted their weapons at Crusadermon X who slid back after blocking them with the Rose's Pile Bunker.

Crusadermon X growled. "You will not stop me!" She stabbed her Rose's Fencer into the Rose's Pile Bunker. It glowed and started to change shape. "Ultimate Thrusting Sword Gran Rozerio!" It became the Ultimate Pile Bunker. "DIE!" She flew towards the two.

Yuuko and Samudramon Feirce Blade Mode held their sword in two hands in a back stance breathing calmly. The blade shined white. "Splendid Blade of Tranquility!" She and Samudramon swung just as Crusadermon X was in front of them. They grunted at the force of the clash. Yuuko yelped as she and her Digimon started to slide backwards on her feet.

"Yuuko!" Ami ran towards them, but Takumi blocked her with his arm.

Behind Yuuko Fei and Sakuyamon X held up the staff. "Uka no Mitami!" The thunder, fire, water, and wind foxes combined into one giant white fox spirit. They pointed the staff towards Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode and it flew into Yuuko's Digimon. Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode was engulfed in white mist. He and Yuuko shouted slashing the Ultimate Pile Bunker to pieces.

"What?!" Crusadermon X was at a loss for her shield being destroyed.

Yuuko and her Digimon gracefully spun forward holding their blade as the mist flew into it. "It's over Crusadermon!" they shouted slashing Crusadermon X leaving a giant white cut that exploded in white flame. Crusadermon X screamed in the blaze. Everyone save for Yuuko, Fei and their Digimon shielded their eyes.

Once it died down, she was reduced to an upper half on the floor. Her armor burned and cracked. Didn't have the strength to lift a finger. "This…cannot be happening…"

"They did it…" Keisuke breathed.

Takumi grinned. "Of course, they did. Family does well together." Samudramon Fierce Blade Mode dropped to his knees as he reverted back. Fei's Digimon split back into three as they collapsed. Yuuko and Fei groaned as they closed their eyes and started to topple. "Yuuko!" Takumi ran up and caught the raven-haired girl before she could fall over. Keisuke helped Fei stay on her feet. Yuuko was wincing holding her arm. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah…I guess she did more damage than I thought…" Yuuko looked at Crusadermon X who groaned in pain. "This time…don't come back. You've caused enough suffering for two realities."

Crusadermon X reached a hand up. "Your majesty…Leopardmon…! Help me…!"

Elsewhere BoltBoutamon, Leopardmon, Craniamon and Dynasmon were watching events unfold through a screen. "It seems Crusadermon was unable to unleash the true power of the X-Antibody." BoltBoutamon said.

"Hmph. She always was more of a schemer then a fighter." Leopardmon said. "Still, this was your greatest effort to replicate it yet. Continue production."

"Of course, my lord."

Craniamon turned around. "I will go aid Crusadermon."

"No." Leopardmon said. "Leave her."

"What?"

"I warned her that this was her one chance. Had she not let her new power go straight to her head and played around with it, she could have at least disposed of one of those rats before their backup arrived. It seems there is only one cure for stupidity. Death."

Crusadermon X's body started to glow blue. "No…please…one more chance…"

"This is the end Crusadermon." Yuuko said. "And the end of the past that haunts us. We're moving forward towards the future. To do that, we have to leave you behind."

"Step aside." Everyone looked at Kiryu as he aproached. "I'm ending this."

"Kiryu." Yuuko turned to him. "She's finished regardless of what you do."

"Dosen't matter. If what you said is true…then I need to sever this chain with my own hands… Besides, I swore to end the one responsible for Subaru's pain."

"Kiryu, don't do this! Go down this path and you'll-

"Enough Yuuko!" Kiryu scowled. "I've had enough of your egotistic holy speeches to last a lifetime! Besides, for all that sappy shit about moving on from hatred you want her to suffer as badly as I do deep down! Tell me I'm wrong!"

"Kiryu…"

"Revenge isn't going to change what happened!" Takumi said.

"Hold on you two." Fei said. "Maybe we should let him do what he wants."

Yuuko turned to her. "Fei!"

"Think about it Yuuko. You say revenge is empty. But you only learned that because you incited it on Crusadermon. I think the only way Kiryu here will understand what yer sayin' is if he goes through the same thing you did. Besides, none of us are in any position to stop him."

"Fei's right." Agunimon said. "You wanted to make her pay for the things she did to us and those you care about. If Kiryu doesn't settle things his way, he'll never escape Crusadermon's shadow…"

"Yuuko, please." Lobomon said. "You know that the thirst for revenge doesn't die so easy. You got your licks in on Crusadermon for what she did to those you love. We can't deny Kiryu that, or he might never be able to move on."

Yuuko sighed. "…Alright Kiryu. …I just pray this doesn't make you feel worse than you already do."

"I highly doubt that's a possibility." Kiryu glared.

"Kiryu." Lobomon ran over to the human and took out his two Licht Schwert and held them towards him. "Here. Please…finish this for us and for Subaru."

Kiryu took the two weapons. "…Thank you." He turned to Crusadermon X and marched over to her. He stepped up onto her broken armor and stood on her chest glaring down at her. "You're torment of Sabaru ends here. Judgment shall now pass."

"Kuh! To think…you of all people…would be the one to finish me…! You're just a worthless fool who's made pitiful mistake after pitiful mistake…! And now the last thing I see is you looking down on me…!? Nothing could be worse…!"

Kiryu spat on her face. "You are the least qualified to judge someone's worth you trash. Besides…I'd rather just make mistakes…." He held the two light blades in a X formation at her neck. "Then be one." Ami turned Luche away who buried her eyes in the taller girl's torso as Kiryu roared closing the swords like a pair of scissors. Crusadermon let out one last pained scream before going limp. Kiryu climbed off her and put a foot on her head before rolling it away. The remains of Crusadermon X glowed blue before exploding leaving a X-Antibody behind.

"Kiryu…" Yuuko looked at him worryingly.

Lobomon and Agunimon walked up to him. "Are you okay?" Agunimon asked.

Kiryu didn't reply. He just handed the Warrior of Light his weapons back. "…BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, we're leaving."

"Where to sir?" BlitzGreymon said.

Kiryu sighed. "I…I don't know. For now, somewhere far from here will suffice."

"Understood." CresGarurumon picked Kiryu up and put him on his shoulder.

"Wait, Kiryu!" Ami shouted as BlitzGreymon ascended and took off through the hole Kiryu entered. CresGarurumon grabbed his arm and was carried out with Kiryu.

"Ami, stop!" Yuuko said. "Don't follow him!"

"But he still hasn't told us how to save Alphamon!"

"I know what Kiryu is going through! …When I was desperate to have revenge on Crusadermon, I felt that doing so would fix everything. …Maybe a small part of me hopped that doing so would bring my father back…that it would make the pain and hate go away…but when I finally did it…all I felt was emptiness…that's when I realized how foolish I was to fixate over revenge. I learned that vengeance is nothing more then an empty promise to undo what has already been done. That it is not the cure, but the disease that eats away at you. That it only adds to your regrets instead of healing them. Kiryu…is going through that same revelation. It'll take a while for him to sort out his thoughts."

Hudiemon nodded. "I agree. We should give him some space for the time being. Besides, everyone is exhausted. We should return to the others for now."

Takumi sighed. "…I hope things work out for him."

"I want to believe they will." Yuuko said. "Because they did for me. But that was because I had all of you, my friends to remind me that I still had something other then revenge. To help me whenever I felt hurt. But Kiryu…he…"

Agunimon clenched his fist. "He will rise above this."

Everyone looked at him. "How do you know?" Luche asked.

"We know him." Lobomon said. "He's not the type to just give up so easily."

Ami picked up the X-Antibody Crusadermon left behind. "This one seems different from the others. I guess BoltBoutamon really has been making improvements."

"That's one more thing we'll have to explain to the others when we return." Arata said.

"Yup." Takumi positioned Yuuko behind him.

Yuuko was caught off guard. "Takumi, what are you-Eep!" Takumi's arms wrapped around her thighs and Yuuko found herself on Takumi's back and her arms around him. "Takumi, what are you doing?!"

Takumi smiled to her. "You're still hurt and tired. Isn't this what friends are for?"

Yuuko sighed looking away hoping nobody would see her face redden. "…Thanks. Just…try not to let too many people see us when we get back."

"Sure. And hey, You and Fei really did a good job today. Zero and the others too. Be proud of yourselves."

"Thanks. But I wouldn't have done it without all of you. You're my friends. My true strength."

"Does this mean the legendary hacker team Zaxon is making a comeback someday?" TiggerVespamon asked.

Yuuko smiled slightly. "Maybe." Arata activated a Home Gate and they left.

Leopardmon and the others watched them leave through the security feed. "We lost both the towers, Kiryu, and Crusadermon." Dynasmon said. "This is a heavy blow we were delt."

"Perhaps." Leopardmon said. "However, our plans are still in motion. That being said this has caused us a number of new problems. BoltBoutamon, hurry with production of the X-Antibodies. Dynasmon, alert all our forces that Kiryu has turned traitor and is to be eliminated on sight."

"Yes milord." The two Digimon left.

"Soon all will be in place." Leopardmon took his leave.

Craniamon watched him go before he looked back at the monitor alone in the room. "…Just what is it that we are doing?"

Yuuko and Fei finally get their deserved upgrade! I know Sakuyamon X seemed an odd choice given that Fei's ace is TiggerVespamon, but that one as far as I'm aware dosen't have an evolved form leaving either Pheonixmon X or Sakuyamoon X. After Omegamon Merciful Mode, Diaboromon X, Rosemon X, and HerculesKabuterimon X, I felt I've given enough Adventure Digimon the spotlight, so why not one from Tamers?

Moving on, what's next for the Resistance? Or for Kiryu now that he has left the Next Order after finally having the revenge he sought? Find out next week.
