During an evening, the heist squad sneaked to the front lot of SFAI, with a goal in mind to steal a particular statue. Xion and Lokix climbed up a tree as Hiro tried to climb up Baymax, as a way to get over the fence. Click!

Honey Lemon called out. "Guys, let's go through the door that's been opened as I found it." The squad looked to the front door being open and to the woman smiling nervously. "Aren't we lucky?" Olette couldn't argue with the convenience. "It's an easier route, that's for sure."

The ladies went in first, with Hiro following behind and Baymax getting stuck in the door. Honey Lemon and Lokix squeezed him through and closed the door right before a patrolling guard had the chance to notice.

The band hid in the shadows behind certain buildings, with one particular being their stop. Honey Lemon was getting more nervous. "Do we have to go by the Fine Arts building?" Hiro showed a map on his phone. "It's the best route if we want to avoid campus security."

Baymax stated another reason. "We can also enjoy the student art exhibit." The grown up repeated that. "Art exhibit?" Olette gave the grown up a tug. "Relax, I don't think that's going to be the problem."

Gogo agreed and asked Honey. "Would you rather wait out here?" The grown up nearly raised her voice. "No, no! There's nothing to be nervous about in there!" Baymax had a quick examination of her behavior and had to say otherwise. "The change in modulation and your voice indicates that you're-" Honey stopped him and started following along. "nothing, I'm just happy that I'm able to help."

Xion whispered back. "Glad to hear it." The band sneaked around to get through the door, although Baymax going up slowly caused some tension over getting caught.

Honey Lemon noticed something and went ahead, acting strangely as the squad hurried along, they heard a faint sound of a splatter and saw Honey standing before a great canvas that had paint splattered all over it. "Modern art is strange, no?" The squad turned to see something moving in the corner of their eye and moved along as Baymax whipped off a blob of fresh paint. "And a lot of modern art is strange and sticky."

Elsewhere.

On top of a building that has a view of a neon lit neighborhood. Ken, Hayner, Pence and Dewott used some ladders to climb up and get a view of the land bellow. Emboar used his flame charge to make leaps on the roof top as Sableye cling on in hope for the best. Ken enjoyed a view of the sights and embraced an idea from earlier. "If we could get our hands on the material, all we'll need are some birds so we won't have to jump hoops to get up here."

Hayner and Pence let out Riolu and Heater, if to share a view of the neon lights that blend in with the dark night. For them, it really is like they're gazing upon a whole different world, Sableye focused more on the topic and noticed something flying by. (We've been hearing squawking noises from that down town area, but it's darker than I'd like it to be and I don't trust the faces that lurk in there.)

Emboar second that. (Lots of dangerous looking people seem to gather there at night.) Zip! The something flew by, revealing a Vikavolt that buzzed in caution. (Hey if you're wanting a fly by, you could have tried finding me. There's a suspicious looking pokemon around these parts and I found it getting really close to a local the other night.)

Sableye found that convenient. (A nocturnal one? Is it a pokemon that these kids can handle without us?) Vikavolt recalled what he saw and realize. (It's a blue bat with those fangs and I know a night flier when I see one. We're talking a Golbat.) Emboar flinched. (A Golbat?! One of those blood suckers?)

He turned to oink a warning to the teenagers that went with the next step of their plan, letting out Scream Tail, Slither Wing, Iron Thorns and Iron Hands. The robots activated as Ken invited the four to have a look. "Sorry it took us that long, hard to get by during the day."

The Slither Wing pushed his head over the ledge and looked down at the busy street as peaked over and was flabbergasted. (What are these ground stars?) Iron Hands and Iron Thorns gave their ward a questionable look as the Dewott corrected her. (Those are city lights. The place is busy and awake during every time of the day.) The Scream Tail turned in wonder as the Slither Wing admitted. (Pretty lights, there has to be so many moths out.) The Iron Hands looked at the technological glow and admitted. (It is marvelous.)

Iron Thorns agreed with that and enjoyed the many lights across the city. (So many colors are blending at once to the darkness, a night dweller must have figured out which is which by now.) Dewott nodded. (Definitely, though we might see more if we could reach higher.)

Ken apologized and pointed to the taller building close by. "If there was ladders on every building, we could have reached closer to the stars." He sighed blissfully. "This world's so advanced in technology that we can be lost in here for days."

Pence admitted, feeling like he and the others missed out on something. "We've grown up in a town that's pretty small compared to this one."

Hayner agreed. "This has got to be the height of the Clock Tower and it looks puny compared to-" he pointed to the sky scrapper. "that!" Shrugged. "There's some perks to being a Keybearer who knows a thing or two about flow motion. But-" He looked to the sky and found the stars shining through the neon lights bellow. "We're still close enough to see some of the stars from down here." The group looked up and the Scream Tail clapped excitedly. (Wondrous cosmic heavens.)

Ken looked to his fellows with that awe. "I might have told you this already, but each star up above is a world shining out with in the cosmos. Letting those of other worlds know that it is still alive. Spanning across the infinite." The Scream Tail cheered as her companions were quite charmed. Sableye gleamed her eyes with enlightenment. (Didn't know that, makes you wonder if our squad mates are looking up as well?) Vikavolt believed it to be so. (Especially the Explorers of Team Nimbus, soaring closer to the sky.)

It was a feeling of nostalgia, Emboar felt his cut short by a notice of something struggling to fly up to the roof. A shadow of a large, blue bat that tried to tip toe to the busy squad and fell on it's stomach. It caught itself with purple wings and huffed determined. (Up, up... finally up.)

He tried to stand up as the boys turned around, Hayner recognized what it is. "A bat pokemon?" Ken gave a fast read on the Pokedex. "Golbat: The Bat Pokemon: Poison/Flying." He read the log fast, gasped and looked back to a bat that was dehydrated and hadn't had anything to drink in days. He readied a ball and tried to think. "Guys, we're in a pickle." The boys got close as Hayner guessed the problem. "This bat looks like he hasn't drank anything in a while."

Pence cringed to that. "But why did he fly all the way up here?" Ken crouched to help the Golbat get on his rear. "Obvious, he was looking for busy dudes so he could use these fangs he has and get some blood." He had a look at the face of a bat with two fangs and a closed mouth. The Golbat was sickly and he opened his eyes to see who was helping him, he opened his mouth to chirp a plea. "Gol! Gol!" (Blood, I need blood. Do you mind if I have some?)

Dewott cringed as Ken pitied the bat, the boy thought of something and tapped the side of his head. "Okay, okay. We got team work on our side." He stood up and explained to his cohorts. "Guys we got three options, we either catch him and try to rob a blood bank as soon as possible. Or we take turns letting him get a drink from us. I really don't want to say the third option because look at him."

Emboar cringed and found a place to sit. (He's not looking too good either.) Sableye agreed. (Normally, these guys sneak by herds and burrows to get a drink without anyone noticing. Hard to do with all these lights.)

Hayner jumped at what is asked. "Ken, you're not suggesting what I'm hearing, are you?" Ken apologized, took his vest off and took off a glove on his fleshy arm. "He needs 10 ounces, we'll have to drop by a blood bank latter and bug them to get us a supply."

The Golbat was dizzy in the head and wasn't going to last for much longer. The boys took their shirts off to show an arm as the bystanders felt pity, Slither Wing wanted to line up as Vikavolt stopped him. Ken got the Golbat over to the fleshy arm and requested. "Only a sip before you move on to each of us. We'll let you know if you got enough."

He readied the arm as the Golbat opened his mouth to show bottom incisors of sharp fangs. He squeaked in an apology. (I'll try not to make it hurt!) He took a gentle bite and oddly, it felt more like needles than anything. Drawing out blood through that, Ken only felt a slight uneasy at how he was being drained as the bat had a deep enough sip before letting go and moving on to Pence. The procedure was rather quick for him as he went over to Hayner, then to the Emboar who did well to take the bite. At the end of that, the Golbat let go and flapped invigorated. (You guys are life savers! Couldn't sneak into anywhere to sip from the sleepers.) Emboar grunted typically of his nature. (Glad to hear it.)

Ken lined up a dusk ball while the Golbat was cheering and asked his friends. "Are you guys alright?" Pence closed his right eye and scratched the side of his head. "We'll be fine in a couple days." The Golbat flapped his wings and turned over to Kendry to show his thanks. (You got a friend for life, what are you going to be wanting from me?)

The one armed boy realize he was discovered and went considered. "Well... if you like, we need to have you in this ball so we can sneak you over to the base. That way we'll keep a close eye on you while figuring out how to take care of you. If you would." The Golbat gave a small dance that nearly made the boys forget that this thing is a blood sucker. (Toss it, toss it! I won't let you down for this!)

Ken tossed it and watched the ball take the Golbat in, as it shook, he put his vest back on. At the click the boys put their shirts on and tried to forget about the blood incident as a distinct hymn echo'd. (That was rather nice of you, helping that poor bat.)

Emboar turned to the voice and noticed the six wings of a moth, he waved humbly. (It isn't a problem for an Exploring Team, we rescue pokemon like this every occasion.) The band noticed a figure of sunlight as Iron Hands and Iron Thorns recognized the shape and hurried.

(Iron Moth!)

(Finally found you!)

Scream Tail and Slither wing kept close as Sableye and Vikavolt freaked out over a similarity. (Sheesh that really does look like a Volcarona!) (How long were you watching us?) Iron Moth buzzed to a fellow insect. (Enough to watch some of you help that bat. It looked like he was fading fast before you came.)

The Vikavolt cringed in apology. (Eh... bug blood doesn't work that well for feeding a Golbat. Seen a Heracross try that and it didn't go so well.) Sableye waved her claw and wrapped an arm around Dewott, if to use an example. (Dewott and I are so small that a Golbat's sip would kill us.) The Iron Moth blinked at that statement. (Fair enough.)

He flew to the edge of the building and was captivated by the many lights. (Beautiful night, what do you think the humans are doing down there?) Dewott was let go and guessed. (I'm thinking night work. We can look at this for hours and we wouldn't notice until the sun starts coming up. We were looking for you, you know.)

The Iron Moth blushed. (I saw the light and I had to follow it out of the facility, the specimen known as Sandy Shocks was close by, wanting to put together a contraption of sticks, leaves and a metal plate. Those magnets weren't making it easy.)

He asked his fellows from the Labyrinth. (So, you all found your way through that light as well?) The Iron Hands had to correct him. (These are some of the humans that captured us and brought us out of that strange place.)

Dewott added his knowledge on the matter. (And I think the way back is gone too. But I think we won't have to worry about that anytime soon.) Pence checked out the moth and saw the eyes close to indicate a cartoonish smile, he thought as a way to keep the specimen close. "Hey, if you're looking for a place to crash, we have a roof you can borrow. Unless some of us are looking to catch you?"

Ken was tempted on the idea and remembered what these pokemon could do. "I don't think I got anything to muscle through when he terastializes. The numbers say that he's even faster than Volcarona and can scorch just as hot."

The Iron Moth quickly had a focused stare on the boy that admitted. "I've been pretty focused on the squad that me and my pokemon really need to start training more. There isn't a lot of free space to do that without freaking someone out." Hayner was the first to agree to that. "The boosts helped a ton, but our pokemon will need to learn those skills."

Ken had an estimate on the tasks at hand. "Right now, we got a Golbat to look after. Sharp Shell, you know what Moth is saying, does he know about Sandy Shocks?" The Dewott nodded and used his shells to stack them together, like he's putting together something, Ken guessed. "Sandy Shocks likes arts and crafts?" He felt a connection of the statement as Dewott nodded. "Oooooh!" Hayner counted the luck. "We made the right call then."

Ken nodded. "Yeah, the girls are going to have a report for us soon." He clapped to the strange pokemon. "Alright, it's time to get to the base. Everyone line up for a call back, we can't afford to have strangers see you." The boys performed a mass call back as the Emboar let Sableye on his back before getting ready to climb down.

Ken and Dewott went over to a ledge into an alley way, the one armed boy channeled air magic upon himself and his companions. "This isn't much of a start, but if you know the magic, you can use the air to slow down a fall." He and Dewott jumped off into a slow fall, encouraging the others to follow suit, they landed softly and watched Vikavolt take off, with the Iron Moth follow him towards the base.

Back at SFAI

The heist squad used the cover of their short cut to make it to the center of the campus, where the objective laid waiting for the taking. Hiro readied a laser cutter to sever the restraining bolts. "So far so good, keep an eye out while I get this statue loose." Xion had Lokix keep watch as she, Olette and an impressed Shroodle followed Honey Lemon and Gogo. They reached a park bench as the nervous lady asked. "So how's your first visit to the Campus, because-" Gogo interrupted her bluntly. "You've been taking art classes here and you don't want us to find out, were you?"

Honey cringed at being found out. "How did you find out?" The speedster answered bluntly. "I heard you snoring about it." That's an interesting vision to be had and Xion asked from experience. "You're room mates?" Olette found that to be quite charming. "How has that been holding up for you?" Gogo shrugged. "Eh, it's alright."

"WHA!? Who's over there?!"

The ladies turned to see a security guard waving his flash light in a complete panic, they made a run for it back to Hiro, who finished getting the statue loose and was having Baymax do the lifting. Lokix noticed the fast running and Xion whispered to call off that step. "We got spotted, we need to get out of here." Hiro whispered back with a sweat. "We just unhinged the statue."

Baymax had a moment to fizzle out and looked around to an odd blue house, where something crawled to it's side in a panic. Xion channeled a rift of light and teleported the band into the living room of the house. A Victorian era that was well preserved over the century. They hid behind the furniture as the guards were looking through the window. Honey Lemon had a moment to realize. "I'm hiding in the house of Lenore Shimamoto!"

Gogo gave her a shush as security guards were gave the living room a fast check and were fooled by a Baymax disguising himself as a plush chair. The band felt the coast was clear and Honey Lemon accidentally pressed a gear on a device of cog wheels. Causing the rug underneath them to lower down into a basement. Baymax felt something close by and looked up to find something of three yellow eyes looking down at them, drawn in by the noise. He recognized the shape. "Oh no." Lokix knew that meant more was to come and hissed. (How could this get any worse?)

Leap! Tap!

The heist squad noticed a screw tail flailing around to bring back balance of something standing on the table. The lift reached the bottom of something and lit up candles in wall lanterns, revealing a curious Sandy Shocks that was looking awkward and gave a disappointed pout. "Magneton!" (All those people gone away.) (The new ones don't look like they want to put stuff together.) (One of them got spooked.)

It came off as a combined beep that caused the band to nearly scream, Lokix readied for a fight. (Where you following us?) The Sandy Shocks wasn't even sure on that as Baymax waved. "Hello Sandy Shocks."

The life form waved a magnet as the group noticed the lanterns lit up a simple, olden laboratory. With wooden shelves of research material, a table of beakers and a microscope. Portraits of pressed plants, a skeleton model and a lot of cobwebs. Olette looked around with amazement. "This place hasn't been touched in so long." Gogo agreed with her on that one. "Scary stuff."

Baymax knew what he was looking at. "It seems like it's a scientific laboratory." The Sandy Shocks was amazed at the many components. (All those contraptions.) (Working together to turn all this on.) (Are there anymore secrets?) Honey Lemon was over the initial shock and looked around the table, finding a portrait of a pressed flower and a name dating back to 1905. A Lenore Shimamoto. "I think this is Lenore's Laboratory."

Sandy Shocks looked into a photo spinner and Hiro gave a spin, they peeped to see an flower sprouting out of the ground and returning to the earth. "Cool!" Olette found it all enticing. "An artist with a lab? Who knew."

Gogo activated a magnetic coil and used a coin to have it float mid air. "Someone who is good at art and science? Wow is that not common." Sandy Shocks approached with an uncanny crawl of legs as Honey Lemon checked a shelf. "These books are about elements and they are in the order of the periodic table of 1906."

She saw something off. "But Gallium is suppose to be before Germanium." She pulled the book out and caused a click, she turned to find a light shining upon a rising panel. She got close to watch it slide open, revealing a diary, hers for the taking and for squeeing over. "Who's down there?" The band looked up to find security guards, Baymax explained the obvious. "We're exploring a Laboratory."

Elsewhere in the City.

The boys and their escort finished their recon mission and were heading back to the base. Only to notice a white gift box at the front door. With a black ribbon binding it together. ?! Ken picked up a pretty cold package and saw a letter. "You won't have to worry about Golbat, just be sure this is in a fridge. With Peace: J?!" Sableye twitched and hissed. (J?! How would someone know about that?)

Ken had little idea and looked to the wild duo of Vikavolt and Iron Moth. "Vikavolt, Moth, go head up to the roof. I'll be up to send some company." The two flew up as the band hurried in, finding Hariyama resting soundly as they head up to the living quarters. Pence hurried to ask. "Bryn, did you find anyone dropping something over?"

The base beeped and shined a screen for the group to look at. It showed what looked to be a teenage boy with short, smooth platinum blonde hair, a gray shirt and black jeans. He placed the box on the front door, looked up to a camera to show lavender colored eyes and gave a sly smile while waving. He took off at the end of the recording. Bryn opened a slot and Ken put the package in immediately. Letting the ship take caution in opening what could be a potential bomb. Hayner gasped at something that connects. "How was that guy following us? What did he give us?"

The screen showed question marks and showed a simple 10 ounce blood bag. Ken whistled at the convenience. "Okay, that's weird. Bryn, the next time you see this guy, tell him we're going to need a word with him." Bryn understood and watched Ken send out the Golbat, who saw the bag and let out a drooling tongue. Ken gave him a stern stare. "Uh uh! That's for tomorrow. You had your fill tonight. But, apparently we got a supplier. So you know what that means?"

The Golbat nodded. (I don't have to fly off to get some more blood anymore?) Sableye was impressed by the fast realization. (Pretty much.) Ken coughed roughly. "Yeah, you don't have a reason to wander off now. I'm also thinking, since you're a bat with echo location. Would you mind being the watch bat for the night shift? In case that guy comes around while we're here? I don't like having uninvited people showing up this late at night when we're suppose to be hiding."

The Golbat didn't mind the work. (How's that gonna work?) Ken was glad the bat asked and went for the ladder to the attic. "Let me show you the room you'll be sharing. Sharpy's pretty sharp, but he's a pretty nice house mate when you get to know him."

The bat flew up to follow up the hatch, Hayner put the bag in the fridge and felt oddly warm in the heart. "This is a first. But Golbat seems pretty nice." Pence found that mutual. "It was weird that we had to let him bite us for a drink, but those kinds of bats can't eat or drink anything else." He went to turn on the sink and bring out dish soap. "We'll need to wash those bite wounds as soon as possible though." Emboar considered that sound advise. (Those bats can have a poisonous bite if they feel the need to use it. So you can't be too careful.)

They heard some sound above, followed by the sound of Ken climbing down to wish the bat well. "Just open the hatch once you spot something scary and climb on down. We'll do the rest. Night Count." He stopped at a decent nick name. "Night Count..." He descended down to find his squad had already readied disinfectant, he sighed in regret. "Sorry that I gave that order, I didn't know what else we could do for him on the spot."

Hayner didn't mind as he readied a wash cloth for the bite wound. "That's what we got to give to keep the worlds safe. It's fine." Pence followed with that while Ken picked a cloth. "We'll have that blood back in a few days. The body works miracles."

Sableye went to get a sponge and used it to treat Emboar's bite. (You don't see the big guy complaining. You all did good tonight.) The Fire pig gave his cohort a thumbs up. (I had worse.) With the bites cleaned, Ken turned on the T.V to see the news and find quick clues. "Night Count's been told his job for the night. He'll make a lot of noise if we get more visitors like that again. Once it's morning, he'll switch with Sharpy and rest for the day. Is that a plan?"

It felt sound, there was a breaking report happening over at SFAI. One about an Artist with a Lab. "Some kids and their robots discovered Lenore Shimamoto's hidden Laboratory. An Artist with a Laboratory, what is it about?"

The band flinched at the sight of their friends and a Sandy Shocks being escorted out of the campus. Blip! Ken got a fast text from Xion and read it. "We found something big and there's news reporters over here. Me, Olette and our friend are going to spend the night with Honey and Gogo."

The boy asked back. "The Sandy Shocks? What happened?" Xion wasn't sure. "We'll let you know in the morning, but Sandy Shocks seems friendly enough. Are you guys done with your night watch?"

Ken reported in details. "We just got back to see the news. So you don't got to tell me anything else. We rescued a Golbat that was going to fade out if we didn't get him something to drink and we have an Iron Moth crashing on our roof for the night." There was a pause, followed by an angry face. "Kendry, did you let that Golbat drink that much blood out of you?!"

Ken flinched and answered. "Not sure if this is better, but me and the guys had to let him take a sip. Four each means less blood we loose at once." Xion texted back with a stoic face. "Roxas is going to be peeved if he hears about this." Ken imagined what he's going to be in for when he returns home. "What else could we have done? Golbat can't eat anything else." That was a valid point. "We'll report all of this tomorrow. Keep yourselves safe." The boy wished his girlfriend well. "You too."

Ken groaned. "I'm going to get the tar beaten out of me one of these days. But the girls are safe with that Sandy Shocks." Hayner checked the text, saw a particular name and didn't wish to rub salt to the wound. "Once they have a look at the Golbat, they'll forget all about this."

At a two floor apartment in a shadey corner of the city.

Xion, Olette and the pokemon were let into a rather wide open space with a collection of bikes, wheels. With disks being wedged into the walls after some target practice. Honey Lemon stretched a yawn. "Wow that was super tiring. I'm going to bed, make yourselves at home." Gogo had passed a perception check quite a while ago. "With the book you took from the Laboratory?"

Xion and Olette were pretty distracted by the chain of events as the speedster asked in mischief. "We're not going to read it?"

The girls and the Sandy Shocks headed over to a bed room with a lit ceiling lamp. Xion and Olette laid out sleeping bags as the Sandy Shocks found a corner to stand and rest at. The crowd watched Honey open the book and give it a read. "April 19, 1905. My friends in the arts know nothing about my scientific endeavors. They would not understand what drives me, I'm not sure I understand. Until I can be certain of success, I decided it best to keep my scientific work secret." "November 11, 1905. While my research has been fascinating, my isolation grows more stifling" April 3, 1906. I've made a ground-breaking discovery too big to hide! Indeed I believe I have created a true light for all mankind, one that shall pave the way for generations of scientists and innovators to come. But in order to gain the attention of those whose authority and support I need to further my research, a demonstration is in order. In this vein, have made the necessary preparations and used every resource at my disposal to plan a truly unforgettable event! Tomorrow I will show the city and change the world!"

The reading stopped and Honey Lemon flipped over blank pages. "The rest of the pages are all blank?"

Gogo and the girls were confused on that and Xion asked. "Did something happen to her?" Gogo had a guess. "She either had cold feet-" Honey had a guess by the year number. "Or look at the date, a day before the Great Catastrophe." That was the first time the girls heard of that. "The Great Catastrophe?!" Gogo shared some history. "The Great Catastrophe was an earthquake that destroyed the city and caused it to be rebuilt from San Francisco to San Fransokyo."

The girls and their pokemon gasped as the Sandy Shocks buzzed in complete astonishment. (Completely?!) (That's definitely a big one?) (People were lost on that day?)

Honey cringed. "Maybe the chaos ruined her plans and she no longer had the courage to try again?" She had a bit of hope at the outcome. "And if her discovery really changed the world." Olette recalled a familiar history lesson from a few weeks ago. "Sounds similar to this old history that me and the boys dug up. You know that Graveyard you all gone too?"

The super heroes remembered. "The Wasteland?" Xion chimed in a short tale. "It was the epicenter for this Keyblade War that split the world into many. A band of greedy people used and abused the power of the Blade and it didn't want anything to do with that once it got to a point. It had a ton of rusted Keyblades before the fighting got ugly." She remembered who told her that. "That's what Roxas said while me and my brother were with Ken."

Olette felt her blood heating. "That War became the reason this creep started getting ideas that nearly wrecked the worlds three times over and it is the reason his toady became a problem that is still at large." Sandy Shocks twitched his magnets and the three buzzed at once. (This Catastrophe feels pretty fishy.) Lokix agreed with it. (It's not a coincidence that this discovery happened before everything gone wrong.) Honey thought more into it. "We're going to solve this-" She used her SFIT ID card as a book mark. "before I return this to a Library. There's something we're not seeing."

The next morning.

Honey went ahead of the girls as they looked to find a convenient spot for Sandy Shocks to take off at. She was at the gates of SFIT when her train of thought was interrupt by a voice. "Excuse me miss," The chemist hid the diary and turned around to find a man with light orange hair, a beard, glasses, a cow boy hat, a red scarf and a jacket. "I am from the Museum." The college girl gave a hello as the man brought out a business card. "I've recognized you from the news and I would like to talk to you about your discovery."

Honey looked at the card and read the name Herman Ekabo, thinking of how to keep the details hidden. "It was something. It was something incredible."

The stranger admitted with some envy. "I don't believe historians like me would have spent years studying Shimamoto's Laboratory. I wish we had something about her that would tell us why it was there. What was she hiding? Her scientific work?"

Honey gave in and brought out the diary. "Maybe it's Shimamoto's Diary?" The man adjusted his glasses in astonishment as the girl explained. "I took it last night and I swore to return it." The man was given the book and confessed. "I must confess, if I was in her shoes, I would have done the same."

Elsewhere by the base.

Ken and the boys watched the Iron Moth fly off with Vikavolt into civilization. The Captain looked to the dusk ball and gave it a finger rub. "For a giant vampire bat, he was kind of cute with how he was sleeping." He put the ball away and switched to a fast ball, letting out Racer, who was perking up to new road to travel on. Ken activated his armor and picked Dewott up to get on. "Guys, be sure to put those helmets on."

Pence and Hayner did so as their captain announced the plan. "We're heading over to the school and check on our friends. Who knew that a prank was going to lead them over there?" The boys got on the Cyclizar that felt the extra weight and used it as training. He sprinted all the way to the school entrance, catching the eyes of a few people, particular a duo of girls that were escorted by Gogo. She crossed her arms as the lizard came to a full stop and let the boys off. Ken snapped his fingers to dismiss the biker armor and asked. "Iron Moth is with Vikavolt at the moment, is Sandy Shocks keeping himself hidden?"

Xion nodded. "He's over at you know where, I'm not sure if this week is a good time to be saying the name." That's understandable. "We'll track them down and face them when we get strong enough to face them. What matters is that they'll be fine for a while."

Gogo contemplated asking. "Say... you said that we'll be needing to fight at those guys level if we're going to have a shot in catching them, right?"

Olette nodded. "That's the plan, otherwise they might get the wrong idea." Xion gasped to something that might work. "We could use the extra hand if this rumor turned out to be true." Gogo guessed. "You've heard of a pack that might be around in the city? A tough one?"

Ken showed a dusk ball with a dagger sticker. "Right on the marker, we caught a gang of Pawniards that use to be under this Kingambit before the wormhole incident got them all separated. Pawniards are the foot soldiers and after a long time of fighting, they evolve into something called a Bisharp. Normally, the Bisharp is considered the boss of the pack, but if one of them becomes a Kingambit." Gogo knows a few things about chess. "Then those guys answer to him. Without that King, the Bishops are going to be trying to fill the power vacuum?"

Ken admitted with some dread. "We haven't explored nearly enough of the city, to figure out if they're around or not. That King made it really clear, that our pokemon aren't going to win against those guys and if they know where we've been keeping the Pawniards... they'll be coming after us." He realize why Gogo might be asking. "Give us some time and we'll get into the details. We've seen and heard of people and pokemon that make an instant sync the moment they meet." He scratched under the Cyclizar's chin, causing the lizard to purr. "We'll check to see if the guys handled guard duty, let Hiro know about this idea once he and Baymax get here."

The ladies let him know that will be done as the boys headed in and found the Mess Hall was turned into a giant, well made canvas of a flowery meadow, with Fred and Wasabi tapped on a duo of Unicorns and having their color. The Twilight boys cringed as Ken sighed and hurried to undo the tape. "Guard duty didn't go so well, did it?"

Fred complained as Sharp Shell and an unleashed Amphib worked together to wash the paint off the duo. "They caught us before we could even whistle and they didn't even bring snacks."

Wash!

Pence checked out the canvas and shrugged with a defeated smile. "Well, least the painting looks good. We got an update on the Iron Moth and the Sandy Shocks, they've been found. We caught another friend and we got another project that is going to take some of us to the sky."

Hayner wanted to describe the new recruit. "That bat cost us ten ounces of blood between us and Emboar, but it was worth it." Fred gasped at the description. "A Golbat or a Crobat?"

Ken answered with a plan in mind. "Golbat, but I read that they evolve if they like you enough."

Pop!

A dusk ball opened up to reveal a Golbat that was pretty sensitive about the topic, clearly he woken up from his short rest. Ken gasped. "Night Count, you're suppose to be asleep!"

The Golbat beat his wings in a protest of pressure. (What you saying about evolving?) Sharp Shell cringed. (You're miss hearing. We're just talking about what you can turn into, not the reason we took you in.) Racer grunted. (Ken's a nice person, does there have to be a bigger reason besides that?) Ken confessed to the bat that wasn't well in the head during the previous night. "Our job is to make sure every one of you are nice and secure before we even think about moving on to the next world. We need to cooperate together to make that happen, evolving and getting stronger is a perk that comes with the adventure."

The Golbat made sure that the boy he swore his life too was exactly as he remembered, he closed his mouth and had a small smile that was worth adoring. (I figured that was why you saved me there.) He was getting irritated by the sunlight and Ken called him back. "Go back to sleep, I'll let you out if it's needed."

He turned to the college students and admitted. "It's never a good feeling to think that only reason someone helps you, is because you can be a use to them later. He was looking pretty bad, so I get why he thought he might have made a deal he was going to regret."

The band took that deeply and headed over to the main hall, where Hiro, Baymax and most of the girls were meeting up. The boy genius was told something astonishing and turned around fast. "Ken, was the Graveyard that important?!" The one armed boy answered. "Yes, yes it was. There's some new discoveries awaiting us today." He clapped in a chime. "Once something gets dug up, worlds all over will end up knowing about it. Hard to just stay ignorant if it's big enough to change things. There's so many projects and so little time."

Hiro felt curious on the matter. "What did you figure out this time?" Ken showed the logs of Corviknight, Noctowl, Skarmory and Squawkabilly. "We need to hit the sky soon and these birds could double for a taxi lift. We were told about the parrots being around in the city, so now we need a cart. You be surprised how much stuff is thrown out in the dump, stuff that could be recycled into something pretty cool."

The college kids imagined someone ascending to the heavens with a flock of the tiny parrots in a manner to ridiculous to argue against. They headed over to the home room, where Honey Lemon was in a panic and was using an I.D card that wasn't working. "I can't believe I let a stranger steal a priceless treasure!"

Xion and Olette heard that. "Steal a priceless..." "Did someone take that journal?" Honey turned around with eyes of self doubt. "A stranger came by and said they were from the museum, when I came by to check on it, it was never delivered." She used her card once more and Hiro noticed. "Uh... that's not an I.D for this school."

Honey checked to see what card it is as Olette gasped to a plan. "Wait a minute, did you take out the book mark or did you forget?" Honey remembered and gasped. "I forgot!" Boy Genius thinking. "So we can track down the Radio Frequency on chip?"

Gogo gave Hiro a push into the work room. "Let's get going asap!" Ken and Xion headed back out with their squad, the girl set up her Tauros to give Olette a ride as Ken settled for putting on a helmet.

Twenty minutes later.

The Guardians followed under the trial of a red armored Baymax that was carrying the super hero band. All the way to an abandoned ware house. Baymax descended a landing. "My scanner indicated that the ID is in this building." Fred was in his costume and knew it was clearly a trap in the waiting. "It's always an abandoned warehouse. It's the part of the basics of bad guys, besides using fake credentials to steal things." He asked Honey. "Hey, he didn't have a fake beard? Because that would be a trifecta." The chemist was not amused and Xion spoke in her defense. "It had to have been a really good disguise. That sort of thing was how my brother got by."

Hiro had Baymax scan the area. "Baymax, do you detect something?" He does. "There is a person in there, his temperature is bellow normal."

Honey Lemon cleared away the dirt from a window and saw that very man out of his disguise, having short black hair that have a strand of red, he was wearing a set of glasses as he read from the journal. "That's him, he has it!" Ken called back Racer and joined in a barge in, cornering a man who was seemingly alone and was looking quite casual. Ken and the Twilight Town Trio were in one corner, having a blade and balls ready, while Xion was with Honey Lemon and Gogo. The band readied for a fight as the stranger waved an I.D card that thwarted a scheme. "Welcome, heroes," He tossed it over to a table like it was an annoyance. "I hoped that you would locate me before you disappointed me."

Honey Lemon was ready to call him out. "Herman, who ever you are! You stole the diary!" The door way and the windows darken up as the stranger denied it. "You're mistaken, I'm simply claiming the true value of this journal." Honey was a bit confused. "I understand that, I think." Ken lead an approach, with the aura of a grim reaper, the stranger wasn't intimidated in the slightest. "Please."

Hiro asked the stranger. "Listen, who are you?" The thief flipped a page and looked to them as he had a finger under the table. "I need one moment, which is perfect because" Press! "That's all you have left."

A bright light shined out of nowhere and had Ken in a blind, having him step back with his squad as four bottom opened vaults dropped down upon them. Hiro and Baymax were in one, Fred and Wasabi were in another, Xion and the ladies were trapped in a corner, while Ken, Dewott and the Twilight Trio were in the center.

"Good luck!"

Fred and Wasabi were in a room with well lined costumes, action figures, comics and other collectibles. Fred recognized it. "Wow, it's like my room. Except for that." He pointed at a timer of 60 seconds and a post bellow.

"The hardest thing to face is yourself."

Hiro and Baymax, were in a vault that looked more like the boys bed room. The details disturbed him. "Wow... scary?" "It is a replica of your room." Hiro didn't want to go into the details right at the moment. "I'll explain to you why that's creepy." He read the phrase bellow the timer.

"Find the whole solution to your problem."

Gogo, Honey Lemon and Xion were in a replica of Lenore's Lab.

"Don't ignore the pressing from the wall?"

Ken and the Twilight Trio were in a crystal cave. The boy was slowly regaining his vision as Hayner read.

"The light will not help you in these dark depths."

After reading the phrases, the trap sprung. The girls have to deal with two walls that were closing in fast, Honey tossed as many adhesives as possible to try and slow it down as Xion used her brute strength to give it a try. Her Lokix sensed something and got out of the ball to find the danger, trying her hardest to be of help. Fred and Wasabi were scanned by something coming out from bellow the timer and a 3d printer emerged from under that and crafted near perfect replicas that had their eyes glowing. Charging with plasma cutters and icy flames for the two to deal with. Hiro and Baymax had to deal with the room flooding fast.

For Ken and the trio, they had to deal with a cave quickly darkening to pitch black as six crystal drones emerged, spewing out intense, very humid, steam. Ken wasn't sure if he could still see and felt the air difficult to breath in, he conjured Night Sky and gave a star lit shine that did little to reveal machines built to blend in the darkness and reflect the light to where they came off as pitch black. Hayner and his trio sent out Riolu, Shroodle and the Hitmons to try a more aggressive approach as Ken cursed his luck. "These things are blending that deep into the dark that star light isn't helping."

Olette cringed and had to breath harder. "Drat, what ever you do, don't make a flash. It's going to blind us with all this darkness." Pence was feeling the dampness and the vapor clouds. "We can't use electricity with all the conductors around and fire's going to go out if we try." He gasped to something. "But-" Olette looked to where Shroodle is and had a smell of an odor. "What if we can smell them out?"

Ken marveled at the idea and had some even better. "Or hear them out? Night Count, we need your help!" Pop! Out came a Golbat that was having difficulty breathing. The one armed boy ordered fast. "We need to flush these robots out, if you use that echo location, you can guide Shroodle into marking them!"

The Golbat was on it and gave off an echo, quickly picking up on his surroundings and navigating around to flush the crystals out. The Shroodle was guided along into spraying a smelly spit. With that scent, Olette and Pence directed their voice to the southern corner. "5 o' clock, six o'clock and eight o'clock!"

Chan and Top went to smashing the drones as Riolu closed her eyes, sensed the aura with Golbat and followed, applying a force palm to smash a drone as Sharp Shell and Lee followed the scent and slashed a crystal in two. Leaving the final one to be beaten to bits by Night Count's dual wing beat and Lee's low kick. The Steam was gone and the room made a beep, opening a door to some light.

Over at the Lab, the adhesives gave way and was about to crush the girls. Xion growled and pushed. "Pressing on the wall, pressing on the wall! Which wall are we talking abou-" She realized something as Honey Lemon gasped and looked to the wall over the beakers, the one that isn't pressing upon them. She pressed onto the portrait with the pressed flower and caused a button to move in. The trap deactivated and a door opened. Honey and Ken went into communications. "Guys, the words on the wall have a double meaning." "It's our key to get out of here!"

Fred and Wasabi begun to realize that the robotic copies were meant to be a 1 and 1 counter. What if they fought the copy of their companion? They switched targets, Wasabi cleaved through the ranged attacker before it could blast a frost fire breath as Fred got into a fair distance and blasted the melee attacker into a smoldering glacier.

Hiro's chamber was about to be fully flooded as he thought about the metaphor. "The whole solution?" He took a deep breath and dived in, swimming around until he found a covered man hole in a closet. He used the magnetic equipment to push the cover out and caused it to drain the water out.

With the puzzle solved and the doors opening, the band hurried out to confront the reading thief, who noticed they survived. "Recreational studies." He stood up stoically. "I'm moderately impressed."

Hayner wasn't in the mood for study lessons and barked. "What the heck was all that about?" The thief readied to snap his fingers. "Let's just say, that's another riddle for next time." Snap! Ken closed his eyes to avoid the quick flash of light, though it did little for Golbat or the others. Their visions returned and found the chair rotating with the book.

The band looked around, with Honey Lemon picking up the journal as Baymax found a chute on the ceiling. The heroes rushed out of there and found the thief to be nowhere in sight. Xion growled and looked around. "Where did he go?" Fred had a wild idea. "He went to contact his Dark Masters, as the Puzzle Master?"

There was doubt on that as Ken thought more. "Let's see, Pete mentioned a guy who knew a guy. So that might have been-" He gasped. "Ooooh... that's the guy." He and the teenagers wondered as Gogo asked confused. "Why would he steal the diary and then leave it behind?"

Honey Lemon checked the pages to see if anything was tampered with. "I'm just glad we have this back, it's going into the Museum." She saw something written at the end of the logs. "Until Next Time... -Obake." That was a name to consider.

At a secret lair.

Obake returned from a confrontation and placed his glasses upon a scanner. With it, he downloaded the scripture that was read into a computer. Pete was rather impressed by the result. "So you used that to copy the book while the kiddies were solving all them puzzles? Clever."

Obake gave some acknowledgment, the details on what would force a Keybearer to face the problems with the mortals was useful to see if they could improvise. Yet one thing was of more importance. He raised his hand to the computer and used the hand to flip the pages. "No, no, no."

It kept going until he was at the blank pages, something about it was suspicious. He pressed a button and caused the computer to reveal details that were written in invisible ink. A plethora of knowledge to be used, Pete flinched at that as Obake cracked a smile. "Now, where do we start?"
